Turning into a label and putting out our first record was an exhilarating process. Shoutouts again to everyone who's bought Aroent's "Eleese" EP, gave it airplay or left positive feedback. All of this certainly left us hungry for more, which is why we couldn't be happier to announce our next EP, AWK002 - "Nines" by Lårry.

After solid recent releases on Super Hexagon and Fusion Diagnostics, our dear Lårry goes from strength to strength with this versatile and atmospheric four tracker. From idiosyncratic techno swirls to emotive peak time bangers, every track has its own story and character, all served with immaculate sound design and the inimitable Lårry touch. Without further ado, we'll stop our excited rambles and let the music do the talking.

Since debuting on Private Persons in 2017, Russian duo Locked Club has gone on to release well received material on TRAM Planet and, more recently, Boys Noize and pretty new Russian STVOL. Here they return again to the Private Persons fold with their new EP for the imprint in one year. Fans of no-holds-barred, industrial strength electro/techno fusion should check the brain-melting insanity. This new record from Russia's Private Persons provides a healthy dose of twisted electro-minded tech that should appeal to all sorts of DJs seeking that 'raw' edge. This new pile driver comes from the minds of Locked Club, and hungrily to deliver some good old dread into the dance floor, which sees a welcome return to the imprint from no-holds-barred Russian Electro Punk.

After a short and reflective hiatus for Danse Club, Nobody Home a.k.a Minilogue re-opens the catalogue with a very special vinyl-only EP 'Remains Of Earlier Temples', including remixes from Skudge and label owners Austen/Scott.The EP reflects a maturing of the label into something more considered and spacious yet still effective and aimed primarily at the dance floor. It's all house and techno.

Radioactive Man reveals his new10” series Sonicus Croniclus on Asking For Trouble, with the incredible first release - Sonicus Croniclus Vol 1 set for release on 14th April. This new project sees Radioactive Man launch a series of 10" records taking mostly live set jams and turning them into full tracks. The artwork as ever comes from long-time design partner Lung. Using plasticine to make the art for the covers, with matching coloured vinyl this will be a collectors series.

Side A ‘Unsaid’ sees Radioactive Man launching into a bass heavy stepper, peppered with broken-beats and spurts of Amen. The track has a stripped-back, slowed down junglist vibe. Side B ‘Born in the USB’ is a more moody affair. A low-slung, dubby, driving jam, bubbling up with acid lines and just enough machine funk.

roduzenten-Veteran Thee J Johanz aus den Niederlanden, gleichsam ein Meister von Technik, Deepness und einer Prise Humor, debütiert auf Running Back mit einem 4-Tracker, der den Innovatoren des Electro-Disco huldigt: Giorgio Moroder und Patrick Cowley. "Kickin' In" ist gar ein Patrick Cowley-Cover, dessen Einnahmen an die San Francisco Aids Foundation gehen.

For its fifth release, Amsterdam's Taped Artifact offers up a various artists EP that features four tracks including one from the boss, Kevin Arnemann, as well as Hiver, Elmer and Physical Therapy. It is a moody and atmospheric deep techno offering that fits in with the label's ever more singular aesthetic. Up first is Physical Therapy, a producer who since 2012 has put out some fine EPs and LPs on labels like 1080p, Unknown to the Unknown and Liberation Technologies. It is a roomy affair with corrugated mid tempo drums down low and haunting pads up top. Building in intensity with some icy hi hats, it ends up as a ghoulish number that adds real theatre to the floor. Next up is Elmer, key part of Brussels' Bepotel Records crew. Melting techno, wave and dub into raw and expressive new forms, this new cut 'Simple Models' makes great use of analog machinery. Again deep and horizonless, a rippling lead synth line plays off an industrial bass riff as paddy drums roll on below. It's humid and heady stuff, to be sure. Then comes the boss who offers a more dubbed out and bumpy dub­techno track with expansive chords rolling off into the distance and light and airy hi hats dancing in the mid ground. It's one to get floors moving before the Hiver duo of Giuseppe Albrizio and Sergio Caio from labels like Curle and Vidab close things out with the dusty old breakbeats and woozy spaced out synths of 'Intersect.' This is a subtle but impactful EP full of sensitive underground sounds that pack a real punch. A Walking Contradiction expands its label family with Aa Sudd and Kombe. Having released solely exclusive Varuna material before, the Basel based imprint now welcomes two close friends for the first installment of their Demi Monde series. Three murky slow techno jams in typical Varuna fashion where fascinating eerie atmospheres work their way up through vigorous half paced grooves.

Released on triple vinyl, cut by Simon Davey at The Exchange with a precision-perfect tri-fold sleeve designed by Ben Rix - the release has been executed in the most sonically and dynamic process as possible in a highly elegant package. In addition to presenting 8 new original tracks, 4 of ZC’s best received previously released works that have been remastered for the album - Goblin, Circuits, O to the M and Basic Process.

The album is designed to move the listener through the moods and feelings of a full night of rave experience - with an atmospheric opener in Submersion setting the tone. Circuits follows - a pure anthem for the convoys of cars, filled with weekend warriors riding their first chemical waves. The release moves through the emotions and sounds that ZC are about - building off their hardcore style breaks and moving between touching melodies, wiggling 303 lines, guttural low end frequencies and spacious hardware reverbs are a constant theme in ZC’s work.

Atoms to Atoms is designed to take you through to the iconic spaces and movements of a transcendent party experience - from the inner city warehouses that set the scene for Breach all the way to the energy of abandoned northern English factories and mills, rusted and empty like on Northern Fury. It’s a timely reminder of the sheer heights of joy and ecstasy that UK dance music culture was designed for produced and presented in an expert package.

(transparent vinyl in custom transparent sleeve) Following their first collaboration on 'Adrenaline' for Amelie's Exhale Records compilation late last year, Belgium's Techno luminary and French dynamo AIROD will release a 4 track 'Raver's Heart EP' with Amelie on her label Lenske Records. After their first collab held the top spot in the charts for weeks after release, it's clear that Amelie & AIROD's productions are the outcome of a powerful synergy between two of Techno's finest producers.

Tip!!. Sensible techno with refined layers of sounds and powerful percussion on a foundation of solid subbass on this all Paris affair. "Made in Paris" is the key word of this second release on Taapion Records. All these young artists are part of a new French Techno movement. Antigone or Roman Poncet already crossed borders (Indigo area, Concrete, Figure). Other just emerging from the dark basements of Paris. Shlomo, PVNV and AWB deliver some solid work on the Taapion label.

sizzling snares wash over the music. The B side commences
with the EP’s biggest track, ‘Mirage’, lashing crisp hats and
acid basslines which roll thunderously through towards the
¦nal climax. B2 brings in Remotif, a Bristol based producer,
with a Jungle remix of Lucid. Remotif, who runs the ‘Familiar
Strangers Label’ has had a string of well received releases
over the past 2 years and holds nothing back on the remix -
bringing a UK jungle hammer to Lucid. Chalos’ lucid is a
superbly quality record, as a full time mastering engineer at
ResurrRec vinyl and his own Resistance Mastering, Chalo
knows how to craft a quality sound and this release will
cement his place amongst the latest homegrown Thai talent.

We are very happy to announce the 13th release of Cabrera with two special remixes from the label boss', J.C., 'Vertigo' record that came out in the summer of 2017. Side A comes with a special Shed rework. Rene is a huge influence for us and we are thrilled to have him on our catalogue. Keeping the essence of the original, he made a proper raw dub techno banger. On the flip side, Kastil, already part of the family, took Nyame in a whole other level and made a fresh blend of fierce techno.

Here you have the third installment of our Pole Group 50 milestone release, closing the trilogy in both Vinyl and digital formats. All tracks have been made in common, each of the label foundational members have work sound parts that in a second process have been assigned randomly to others to work with them, in a creation loop that becomes somehow the true essence of the label. You'll never know who is making what, it's just Oscar Mulero, Exium and Reeko in essence and mixed up.

The track-list features four cuts, starting with the broken beated 'Necton', followed by 'Prokariotic', obscure, grey and heavy textured. On the B-side, 'Replican Isolation' offers
complex rhythms, non linear kicks, and diverse percussive workout spiced with white noise drones. Final cut is 'Transmutation', made of continuous synth lines, EBM flavoured drones and ambiances and a fat groove to rely on.

The ambient / cross-genres label Concentric Records launches its first solo release as a special edition LP written and composed by the celebrated and influential techno / experimental producer Tobias. It is the first strictly-ambient solo album of Berlin's Tobias. aka Tobias Freund.

Entitled Hall Ov Fame, the 42min. full length album is a rare ambient journey into a sonic world that is full of narrative and cinematic imagination, blurring boundaries between perceived and staged reality, past and future memory.

“I have movies in my head” describes Tobias Freund the source that inspired his new album to fill it with a fantastic life of its very own. Consequently, each of the eight tracks represents a scene out of a fictitious short film, some of them with a claustrophobic and tense atmosphere while others appear light and hopeful on the screen of imagination. What they have in common is an adventurous spirit that is inherent in and played out by three main characters: repetitive electronic and acoustic patterns, voices from far away and field recordings of obscured origin. All the episodes combined introduce this “Hall Ov Fame” as a psyche-cinematic event which resonates with “ambience in its natural shades” to evoke the whole range of sensations that make a proper, suspenseful mind movie.

Tobias. (Freund) is long established as an influential artist and has - since the early 1990s - been working as a professional producer, sound engineer, label owner and strictly live musician. The Berghain resident constantly keeps exploring the vast synth-driven Techno, Experimental and Ambient territories on journeys in-between genres, both as a live act and on his countless releases.
Besides his early solo projects (such as Pink Elln, Metazone or Phobia) he’s also been collaborating with Dandy Jack (as Sieg Über Die Sonne), Ricardo Villalobos (as Odd Machine), Max Loderbauer (as NSI.), Valentina Berthelon (as Recent Arts) and AtomTM to only name a few. With his vast experience, diverse output and interests, Tobias. doesn’t tire to actively push against existing boundaries and explore new areas of electronic music. By this he stands in a long tradition of electronic music, scrutinizing the self while reaching out towards the unknown, approaching sound with an appetite for the new, in the tradition of true innovators.

Hall Ov Fame follows a compilation in three parts that introduced Concentric Records’ roster and exploratory sonic realm over the past year and half, featuring unique and wide-ranging works by (in order of appearance) Pole, Daniela Huerta feat. Vinyl only label Kvalia resurfaces with its 003 release - this time by inviting polish producer Blazej Malinowski. "States of Consciousness" takes you on a quest into the hypnotic and deep techno soundscape that is characteristic for Blazej's productions. Expect a three track dynamic journey that starts off with a smooth, flowing A-side followed by a B-side containing two darker gems.

Coachella is Deniro's second full release on Trip. After the success of 2017's Mendoza EP, the TAPE Records owner has prepared a series of live takes for us and we couldn't be more excited. The release received its name from the eponymous festival, where Nina first played the title track of the release during her AV Performance. Sonically this record brings what Deniro is best known for: his signature timeless groove immersed in beautiful, classy techno music.

It is often said that the best art comes out of adversity, and so it is that producer Frits Wentink, photographer Erik Madigan Heck and actress Tilda Swinton have collaborated on Safe Passage, a fascinating audio-visual project born out of loss. Consisting of classical, choral, and electronic music in three movements, the gatefold album will be presented by Dekmantel with a 40 page booklet of additional photographs and paintings, as well as digital only remixes from Matthew Herbert, The Soft Pink Truth, BvDub, and East of Oceans.

Dutch producer and renowned innovator Frits Wentink helms the Will & Ink and Bobby Donny labels, builds synthesizers and beautiful controllers, and puts out always experimental, left of centre house music that pushes at the boundaries. This project initially started out as him attempting to musically illustrate the photography of American visual artist Erik Madigan Heck. The internationally renowned Heck is known for a lavish and experimental use of colour that has won him the prestigious International Center of Photography’s Infinity Award as well as make him a regular contributor to high profile media such as The New York Times Magazine, Vanity Fair, and Harper’s Bazaar.

Midway through the project, Eriks mother was hospitalised due to breast cancer complications before also contracting Covid-19. By her bedsides and as a means to ease her passage, he repetitively played the first portion of the score, and then, once she passed, he decided to commemorate the music's function as a soundtrack for her transition to afterlife by naming it Safe Passage. The involvement of Academy Award–winning Scottish actress Tilda Swinton has lent the music an extra dimension of spirituality: throughout the album, she interjects whispered fragments of Heck’s poetry, blurring the lines between one phase of music and the next.

The music has three movements across two sides: Side A, Safe, has a sense of hope and reflection as it undulates from minimalist string and brass arrangements to ambient and dissonant classical piano. Side B, Passage, then depicts the start of the transition into the afterlife as the voices of a choral madrigal ensemble gradually diverge, then break down entirely before a grand tonal expansion leads into a frenzied crescendo of choral vocals, hardened dub techno and anxious rhythms that convey the violence of the soul’s exit from this world. Finally, a cathartic Epilogue resets and bids farewell with the gentle sounds of a piano.

Because of the global on-going loss of life as a result of Covid-19, Safe Passage has become a soundtrack in which many people will find solace as they remember the sad transitions made from this life to the next during this unprecedented time in history.

After having appeared twice on the Figure SPC series, Inland (aka Ed Davenport) now arrives on Figure, providing a trio of well-honed, first-grade club-material. Out the gate comes 'Stainless' - an electrifying piece of machine-power which, already bursting with energy, still manages to turn it up a few notches. Next up, the seasoned producer turns in a powerful chord-rooted tool: 'Swerv' is driven by tides of shimmering beauty along a sea of pounding drums. One to behold is the epic B-side, which amounts to a trance-inducing, enveloping synthetic vortex of sound. A long journey that is deeply rewarding.

Oblique returns with a highly personal project: 3 tracks from (or with) friends who all helped create/inspire/influence the sound of the label.

Ivano Tetelepta, Roger Gerressen and Ben Buitendijk already had loads of jam sessions when suddenly "Dilated Pupils" happened. It launched a project that consists of spontaneous studio jams in various formats (involving a dozen of befriended artists on multiple EP's, remixes and even an label). Six years later the original track, after which the project was named, will finally see the light of day!

Cyspe's "Reminisce" more than deserves the full B-side to close the EP off. A stunning 14 minute trip through the depths of what this incredibly talented producer has to offer!

Side One is heart-pounding Techno, Hardcore and Electro. Side Two is 90s inspired UK Jungle with an excellent rework from Tim Reaper.

In 2018 Morphology released their third album, debuting on FireScope with Traveller. The sci-fi inspired ten tracker was an immediate success. It also marked a subtle evolution in the sound of the Finnish pioneers of Michael Diekmann and Matti Turunen. Compositions became more complex, melodies more refined. 2020 sees that transformation continue with the pair returning to FireScope for a brand new album: Horta Proxima.

This twelve track album, recorded between 2018 and 2019, sees the electronic partnership continue to further hone their audio craft. The otherworldly is ever present, in the liquid harmonies and sliding synths of “Photospehere” and the shapeshifting brightness of “Aphelion.” Countering these aural journeys into the beyond is a balance, the pulsing keys and crunched beats of “Rustbelt” and the fluid warmth of “Downlink” tethering the narrative to the here and now of terra firma. A central tenet of Horta Proxima is possibility, the possibilities of a technological future expressed through cables, filters, oscillations and permutations. Morphology have delved deeper into the potential of their machines, resurfacing with a wondrous wealth of musical works. From the chopped percussion of “Parsec” to the spirited playfulness of “Triangulum”, new advances and avenues have been explored by the duo. Despite the future gazing focus, the carnal persists. “Shadows from the Past” bares its teeth, rumbling drums chase sailing notes and acid spectres. And within this range, what the listener leaves with is an irrefutable sense of awe. The understated grandeur of “Luminous Entity”, the sensuous stratification of “Multiplex”, the reduced radiance of “Horta Proxima”, only go to further exemplify the respect and reverence this album deserves.

Horta Proxima is firmly set in the Morphology canon. The collection is undeniably daring. Diekmann and Turunen have continued their musical journey from Traveller, pushing their sound further, developing their technique and delivering sheer quality. A beautifully crafted album that broadens themes and horizons, a musical milestone, a triumph.

Recorded in a string of sessions between Curve Pusher’s former Darnley Road location in London and new facility in UK seaside town Hastings, ​Old Tight Selektah​ sees Radioactive Man and Ben Pest (OverworX) riff off their shared passions for studio hardware and live set jams, maintaining the funk at all times.

Lead track ​Old Tight​ works in ​recorded licks from the Pest band’s horn section - Off-Key He-Man. Bar Tab smooths out into a glimmering and acid licked electro number. ​You Bring It, We’ll Wing It​ enjoys more of the Pest brass service, slowing the pace to a dubby, broken beat tempo. Finishing up the EP ​Bracetings​ is a jumpy, up tempo finish to the release showing off both producer’s flair for high precision beat programming.

Ben Pest is a hardware-made-techno specialist based in Bristol. He runs his own label OverworX and has also released his heady raucous sound on ​Varvet, Don’t and I Love Acid.

Roman Poncet's 2018 debut LP stands an impressive work in its own right. Now Figure has invited a group of artists to contribute new takes on standout album cuts. Some clearly for the floor, some nestling on its verges. But all adding to the unique Gypsophila-vibe.
Antigone turns in dust shaking flurry of tribal drumming, ceaselessly pounding and rattling away for an exhilarating and at the same time grounding rhythmic experience.
Wiggling and squelching, Efdemin blends a bunch of lively elements into one wildly roaming remix, which despite all its inner momentum retains an orderly structure, testament to the artist's extraordinary production skills.
On the flipside, Margaret Dygas adventurously goes on a trip of finely tuned acoustics, patiently letting each sound grow into what becomes an enthralling piece of enchanted electronica. Evocative, emotional and of serene beauty, Echoplex closes the collection with an epic track, led by grand strings and flute-like synths, begging to be dropped at the break of dawn.

Massive no frills, all thrills 2 tracker from James A. Donadio. A side is upbeat and crisp and B side is downbeat and dirty.

Amelie Lens' EXHALE imprint launches with a myriad of uncompromising techno tracks from the underground's finest established and aspiring artists.

EXHALE's much anticipated first release continues the legacy of the EXHALE event series with a fifteen original track compilation featuring old and new friends from each avenue of the underground. With a shared love of rave culture, the label is a platform for the forward-thinking while simultaneously paying homage to foundations of techno. With this in mind, Amelie gathers familiar faces and upcoming artists to deliver the future sounds of techno.

Purveyor of modular techno MRD combines layered atmospherics and euphoric pads in 'Reach My Hand', kicking of the last vinyl of the newborn label, followed by Mehen (aka Hadone) who maintains pace with his rendering 'Broken Whisper', with a disorentiating and melody driven expedition from Francois X next to switch up momentum. Promising upcoming Dutch producer Grace Dahl ensues with the merciless 'Vermilion Empire', while production virtuoso DYEN nods to EXHALE's roots in rave culture with 'Fantasy', a medley of spiked vocals and ethereal synths that maintain the energy until the final kick.

Napolitan Techno DJ and heavyweight producer Davide Carbone releases on the French Rave Or Die Records for the very first time! Multiplying records and collaborations just like Mike Tyson was multiplying uppercuts, the co-owner of Repitch Recordings, Cosmo Rhythmatic and 3TH Records and owner of Carbone Records starts with "Dive Or Die" on the A-side: a speedy yet straight to the dancefloor tune based upon trancey acid lines a la Steve Stoll or Leo Anibaldi and aerial melodies. Combined with dark effects, this nostalgic song Made in Italy appears as an authentic Rave anthem from back in the glorious days!

On the flip side, ROD mastermind and dancefloor veteran Umwelt (Voitax, Return To Disorder) delivers a shaking, hefty and tremendous cut. Named with suitability "Tremblements", the jam signs a fascinating ode to smoking warehouses and illegal parties. Metallic pads over no mercy beats fused into industrialized synths and screaming atmospheres characterize this this dark as hell cut interspersed with counter breaks a la The Mover.

Dark, groovy and noisy at the same, two massive absolute bangers with old school roots on ROD twelve release! By the way, if you wonder the significance of the signs on the Rave Or Die logo in the labels, they are taken from the Hobo Code and mean "Keep away, Cops Active, Unsafe Area". You'll be warned.

Concealed Sounds return after a slight hiatus with a new 12” from the label main man Martinez. Three fresh cuts, starting with “Chatterbox” on the A side, which is a long hypnotic minimalistic deephouse cruiser that might sparkle reminiscent thoughts of early Soul Capsule vibes. On the B side we find a stomping breakbeat electro cut entitled “Synchronic” that wobbles the dance floor with it’s haunting rhythms and deep sub bass construction. B2 is a futuristic funk adventure mixing 4/4 and breakbeats with acid baselines and 90s house style organs.

To kick off 2019 Haven are setting their sights on the farthest reaches of the resurgence in EBM. New Zealand based hardware warrior Body Beat Ritual grew up in the UK exposed to the body music of the 80s and 90s and his experiments in industrial-tinged dance tracks inspired by the likes of Front Line Assembly, Ministry, Subpoena The Past, Nitzer Ebb, and Revolting Cocks were made in complete isolation from, and with no awareness of, the EBM resurgence in Europe's clubland.

This EP represents the first of Body Beat Rituals explorations into this sound. The A1 starts the EP with 'Instinct Primitive' - a certified body moving slammer featuring haunting screams, samples ruminating schizophrenia, a funky bass-line and drum rolls aplenty. The A2 welcomes Poland's VTSS to Haven for the first time with a bouncy gabber kick and distorted tones on her tough remix of 'Instinct Primitive'. ‘Polyphony’ is a term specifically chosen by Fur Coat to emphasise the celebratory concept behind their new album. “Firstly, poly means many, and we are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year,” explains Sergio, “so it was important we reflected that milestone in some way. Beyond that we wanted to create a project with many layers that captures the perfect spectrum, ranging from experimental sounds through to more familiar dancefloor tracks. Whether blending a cinematic feeling, infectious groove, indie vocal or slower BPM electronica, we used multiple layers and patterns to create a textured, forward thinking soundscape. ‘Polyphony’ really does say it all in a single word.”

To further the theme of ‘many’, Sergio and Israel also open up their studio, inviting friends in. Mennie and Julien Sandre team up under their Jarau alias for an impressive EP on One Records. Dubnova features two originals that span hypnotic synths, warm, sonic basslines and intricate spacey layers. For the remix, musical craftsmen DeWalta and Voigtmann join forces for the first time since their monumental Ground Effect EP on Jan Kruger's Hello Repeat in 2014. Here they showcase the more techno side to their production skills.

Friends and colleagues, Mennie and Julien, began the Jarau project in 2017 to experiment and push creative boundaries. 2018 saw the release of their Interstellar EP on respected vinyl imprint Pleasure Zone, which will be followed by this heavy-weight offering on One Records. Tenax resident Mennie was named by DJ Mag as one of the most prominent emerging Italian producers. Born in France and now based in Italy, Julien runs the acclaimed Blind Box vinyl only label, which he started in 2015.

Meander boss DeWalta a.k.a David Koch is one of the most admired artists in the industry, not only a talent behind the decks he delivers a remarkable live set and has released a wealth of music on key underground labels. Claus Voigtmann was originally born in Germany but bases himself in London, where he co-founded the underground and conceptual party, Toi.Toi.Musik. This year sees the release of his eagerly anticipated album and a focus on his Subsequent imprint, also playing regularly alongside Adam Shelton and Subb-an for their One Records showcases.

This archival release on Organic Analogue digs back into the prolific ‘90s period of Swedish techno maverick Jean-Louis Huhta, aka Dungeon Acid. These days he releases on iDEAL, Fit Sound, Börft and Klasse Wrecks, but he cut his techno teeth on labels like Hybrid, Svek and H. Productions. Clad in artwork details by Swedish graffiti legend Nug, Wormhole Of Time comprises unreleased cuts and long out-of-print jams spanning many of Huhta’s aliases. The release also comes with a zine featuring photographs and an interview reflecting on Huhta’s multifarious life in music.

A new addition to the Veyl family, LOFN bring a completely untethered approach to their music, which defies any and all boundaries and public expectation. The project of Aitcher Clark and Anna Coranic, the duo debuted in 2017 and has shared the stage with Telefon Tel Aviv, Oake and Hiro Kone. Their sound seamlessly weaves through outlines, bones and sketches of industrial, experimental, ambient, techno and beyond. 'Post-Apo Romance' is right at home on Veyl, emitting mythical electronics and post-industrial dispatches that perfectly pair with vicious, venom-like vocals. The experience begins at the same place we all do, with 'Mother', a deep pensive opener to unlock the gates. 'Pachad' gradually picks up a heavy rhythm before moving into more explosive territory with 'I Get Lit'. The madness subsides but gives way to the powerful 'Invocation' before finally drifting away with the title track.

Different influences can be noticed on this three tracker cut. Techno-dub-house all dressed with a heavy bass and quirky electronic inserts. Blumoog music this time hosts British groovie techno pioneer Mark Broom whose career and acclaimed success spans for over 30 years. Pure Plastic and Beard Man label owner also collaborated and released material on many iconic labels Drumcode, R&S, Blueprint, Soma just to name a few.

M.R.E.U.X opening 'Odyssey' on A1 is a 4 and a half minutes of pure bliss with a dub-tech feel and granular inserts that makes this track even more captivating. A2 is characterised by a sub bass and persistent hi-hats only to be appeased by atmospheric moments half a way through.

Beardman Mark Broom 'Odyssey' remix is a more bouncy take that develops into a jacking realm that for sure will burn down the house.

Techno isn't a genre that has birthed many consistent albums, and the dub techno subgenre even less so, but one indisputable classic is Porter Ricks' debut 'Biokinetics'. Originally issued on the legendary Basic Channel sub-label Chain Reaction in 1996 following a trio of 12"s, 'Biokinetics' was the first of the label's album releases, and still stands as its crowning achievement. Porter Ricks are Thomas Köner and Andy Mellwig, and between them they re-framed the techno sound, imbuing the spacious ambience pioneered by label bosses Mark Ernestus and Moritz Von Oswald with a frosty, isolated experimental bent, and combining it with the sort of haunted minimalism of early Plastikman.
What separated 'Biokinetics' from other albums at the time was its unwavering narrative - the exact sound has been interpreted countless times since, but the immersive qualities of this singular record have rarely been touched. Maybe it is down to the silvery underwater concept that ties each track together - the bubbling pads, sub-aquatic basses and muffled kick drums. But as with any great album, it's hard to exactly put your finger on what makes it a classic. Simply put 'Biokinetics' is one of the most important records in the genre and one of techno's finest albums. It has been re-released ten years ago by Type Records, and now Mille Plateaux is celebrating Porter Ricks' and Biokinetics' 25th anniversary with this sumptuous double viny edition.

Mechanism is a Rotterdam based organisation focusing on presenting and releasing adventurous techno driven music and art. The first release is by the Mechanism initiators Rotor Militia. The music of Rotor Militia is a combination of technoid digital dancefloor beats and hypnotic abstract layers of ritualistic and synthetic sounds.

Since her debut onto the techno scene with the 2018 release of her EP 'Post-Traumatic Rave Syndrome' on Paula Temple's "Noise Manifesto" and a string of international festival and club appearances, Femanyst has gained a reputation for militant individuality. Akua Grant sets herself apart from the crowd with her aggressive & unrelenting industrial techno sets tinged with elements of Hardcore and Gabber. She has become known for her rebellious and innovative style in her adopted home of Berlin. Her self-assured approach to gripping and brawling techno tension sees her perform a fast paced and fervent flow on the dance floor. Femanyst continues to bring her unapologetically bold signature sound with her own techno imprint "Dark Carousel" as an extension to her much revered DJ sets of twisted and aggressive, high octane electronic music.


A2 Fluid - Post Industrial Transformation
Fluid is a queer DJ and producer based in Berlin. Supporting FLINTA* DJs, producers and party events are one of his priorities. His first release begun in January 2021 and he is still modelling his sound. His interest in electronic music goes from industrial techno to ebm to trance to hypnotic techno.

Post Industrial Transformation is a track which combines aggressive sounds and a lot of industrial elements. The transformation refers to Fluid's evolving own path. This evolution is similar to the tension that builds up all through the track. This track evokes change, modification, passage from one form to another.


B1 Hybral - Unheard Voices
Hybral is a Berlin-based non-binary DJ and producer drawn to eerie energetic industrial techno. They mix and produce haunting techno, EBM, and noisy-driven experimental sounds. Hybral's productions are made of dark atmospheric patterns linked with pushing percussions and basslines as well as heavily distorted kicks and harsh industrial noises. Mixing DJ sets the track selection is ranging from contemplative ambient to stern and fast techno - connecting vast influences from Hybral's personal experiences of spending days and nights on Berlin's dancefloors. They are founder of the queer label, podcast, and event series 'Subverted' which focuses on a distinct program aiming to lead dance music back to its roots of resistance and diversity.


B2 Marsch - Mrs. Jones
Marsch is a Berlin-based dj and producer from France, who initially began 8 years ago as a music curator and selector. She started to produce when she moved to Berlin, and has mostly been focusing on this for the past few years. She would define her music as a balance between melody, energy and texture, with a blend of minimalistic elements, rhythmic and percussions, and voices and futuristic synths.


DURCH BLN/TLV is a queer collective with a clear vision of solidarity and community building. DURCH operates in Tel Aviv and Berlin trying to bring queer people together, building a culture of inclusion, diversity and tolerance. In the tradition of original raves DURCH organizes solidarity events ranging from parties, to art and community events, with the strong belief that raves are a much needed place for people to come together, celebrate their diversity and learn to respect each other. Musically DURCH is eclectic inspired by hardcore, straight forward techno, ghetto and scouse house and 90s acid.

We proudly announce the release of our first vinyl record "dogged boldness". This is a long held dream by the entire crew. With Femanyst, Hybral, Marsch and Fluid we are happy to showcase four artists that are close and dear to DURCH BLN/TLV. The record is a compilation of four hard-hitting, inciting techno tracks. Rough, bold and aggravating, just the way we like it. We are proud that we are able to continuously work with queer artists and to be a platform to further queer artists visibility.

From the rampaging start of the EP, "Eternal Remorse", not a single note, guttural vocal, or fierce drum hit is out of place. The emerging greek artist Boris Barksdale, portraits the overall feeling of militaristic order encompasses music and vocal samples. The musical equivalent of that image, industrial society's restless march to oblivion rendered as an infinite dance track, as aggressively vibrant as it is alienated.

Buttechno is back with a 6-track album released on his brand new “psy X” imprint (former Rassvet records). While working mostly on the experimental fields lately, prolific Russian producer stepping aside to the dancefloor territory, delivering six minimalistic sounding tunes, which change their intensity from a high-range bpm mutant acid bangers towards a beatless ambient swirls. Keeping their own special groove and deep spiritual flavour these tracks represent artist's visionaire attitude in its best.

The Signs Within is Drunken Kong's debut album on Tronic, featuring collaboration with label boss Christian Smith. With this work Japanese duo prove they are here to stay with some top notch techno. Whilst keeping the groove alive, they deliver some punching bass lines, rolling subs and deep synths.

Dan Shake makes a solid return to his Shake Records imprint with three tunes ready to make an impact. ‘Paper’ and ‘Bounce’ are tinged with records from Dance Mania, hip house and acid house legend Tyree Cooper, and a cheeky trance mix Dan made with Yomanda ‘Synth and Strings’ in mind, one of the last track he played out to a crowd.

‘Paper’ and ‘Bounce’ are the reflection of an artist still feeling the vibe from his last gigs, which saw Dan make a debut at Printworks, and coin one of the last live Mixmag labs before the world went into lockdown.

Dan explains - “I made these tracks in April 2020, immediately after the sudden cutoff of nightlife. My last weekend of gigs was incredible and left me with a big room, high energy mentality. I’d been listening to and playing out a lot of ghetto house and Dance Mania style records which no doubt pushed these tracks in that direction. Faster, harder and heavier than the majority of the music, ‘Paper’ and ‘Bounce’ gave me a hit of a sound I was craving and had just been immersed in. Directly inspired by an urge to be back on a dance floor, the thought of playing them out feels slightly surreal, but something that gives me tingles thinking about too.”

Did Dan know he’d sit on this music for over a year before releasing it or playing it out? Perhaps not. However, timing is key and clubs and festivals within reach, he’s waited patiently for a time he knows they’ll hit the sweet spot we’ve all been missing.

The Italian producer Daniele Serraino aka D/n, label boss of Spazio Magnetico, publishes his EP entitled Phase Transitions, a title connected to the concept of the album which is magnetism, paying homage to the label's name.

There are three tracks produced by D/n, "Anomaly" and "Dipolar" characterized by hypnotic sequencers, tunnels, with dance flore rhythms. With "Polarity" D/n explores abstract, floating settings with broken rhythms.

Network’s 30th Anniversary celebrations continue with the re-issue of the debut release from the iconic label. The launch of the logo with Neal Howard “Indulge” in 1990 caused a sensation, with the track being instantly acclaimed as a Classic, and Network noted as a new label to watch.

“Indulge” hails from Chicago, but sounds like its’ DNA is Techno City Detroit.
A futuristic call to dance from Windy City mystery man Neal Howard, whose previous releases “The Gathering” and “To Be Or Not To Be” had already reached cult status. Those gems, and “Indulge” were recorded by Chicago label Phuture Sound. Plans were being laid for the transformation the Kool Kat label - the UK outlet for Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May and Juan Atkins - into Network, but the dilemma was finding something “really really special” for the first release. That search for the perfect beat ended when Network’s Neil Rushton on a visit to Chicago heard the just mixed “Indulge” on a cassette played by Phuture Sound boss Terry Baldwin, who after prolonged negotiations agreed to cancel a USA release so the new UK label could have an exclusive.

The label design for this release is a replica of the original DJ Promo 12” that introduced Network to the World with exactly the same tracks; Terry Baldwin’s much loved Club House and Deep House mixes of “Indulge”, coupled with “To Be Or Not To Be” remixes by Chicago’s Bad Boy Bill and Detroit’s Derrick May. network - it is what it was...

Para One, whose real name is Jean-Baptiste de Laubier, releases " Shin Sekai ", the new extract from the upcoming SPECTRE: Machines of Loving Grace. The " Shin Sekai " video is directed by William Laboury, who created a visual tryptic around Para One's SPECTRE: Machines of Loving Grace.
Resonating percussions by Wadaiko Hama and Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares ethereal voices frame Para One's ever evolving electronic music, drawing a new frontier in the artist's musical landscape, bringing together his experience as a film composer and his career as a dj and performer.
The original track comes with 3 remixes: British producer Actress (Ninja Tune) uses Arthur Simonini's strings as the backbone to his emotional climb, German musician Alva Noto (Noton) gives a minimalist stripped down version of the score, while speakwave, the new moniker of French artist dynaRec, proposes a total remake of the melody, the harmonies, and the rhythmic structure of Shin Sekai.

After " Shin Sekai ", Para One, whose real name is Jean-Baptiste de Laubier, releases " Alpes " the second extract from the upcoming SPECTRE: Machines of Loving Grace. Para One himself gave a new version of his work, drawing inspiration in Manchester's Summer of Love.

Gentrified Underground presents an interdisciplinary project
tackling the sonic fiction & afrofuturism of Drexciya.
Thought as an extension to the Bubble Chamber exhibition happening at Mikro & UP STATE Zürich, GU releases a 2x12 vinyl compilation and a booklet with contributions by Abdul Qadim Haqq, Charlie Mills, chukwumaa, Dominiqueh White, Gentrified Underground, Maïté Chéniere and tracks by Xor Gate (Gerald Donald), Shawescape Renegade, DJ Dijital, Plant43, The Exaltics, Kuldaboli, Iko, Tom Ware, Luz1e and Sansibar.

The goal of this compilation is to showcase the reach and influence which Drexciya had on generations of electronic music producers while linking them together with compositorial predecessors from the early 80s. The musical timeline of the compilation starts from 1982 and reaches its contemporary end in 2019.

The 56 pages booklet contains unseen and unreleased Drexciyan drafts by Abdul Qadim Haqq, an interview between him and GU, contemporary art contributions by chukwumaa, Dominiqueh White and Maïté Chéniere and an academic essay by Charlie Mills.

Cinema' is a brilliant snapshot of both artists working together in unison, with Fabrice providing his trademark 'high tech funk & soul' sound alongside Wolfgang's keen, tried and tested ability to fuse clever pop inspirations and catchy vocals through the use of robotic mechanics. Five versions are on hand with the EP, including the original version of 'Cinema,' a French version of the original, as well as a remixes from Detroit's Ectomorph, UK Electro kingpin Carl Finlow, and Dutch synthesis maestro Versalife aka Conforce.
The original version of 'Cinema' is a gorgeous slice of sonic wizardry designed for exploring the borders between underground electronic club music and pop sensibilities. Catchy vocals play alongside a multitude of synth textures, coexisting perfectly in a melodic mélange equally as pleasing to the ears as the dancing feet. Catchy and clever vibes in equal doses.
Detroit legend Ectomorph's 'Sinema Mix' strips away the main elements and twists the original into an analogue heavy, heads-down drum workout saturated with carefully calculated effect manipulations to the vocals. Equal parts trippy and relentless, the remix is a broken beat workout designed to melt minds, fully ready for a dark concrete warehouse when permissible.
Electro legend Carl Finlow (Random Factor / Silicon Scally) delivers an interpretation of the original which stays loyal to the playful pleasantries of the original version. The signature bouncy, staccato-tinted grooves from Mr. Finlow are at center stage, with the UK producer fully embracing the original vocals and musical elements. A crisp, clean and precise remix, just as expected.
Versalife (aka Conforce) brings his beloved Dutch electronic style to higher levels with his take on the original, fully utilizing (what feels like) each and every one of his favorite machines from within his studio. Following on from enthralling electro and techno EPs on Steel City Dance Discs and 1Ø Pills Mate respectively, the pair show their full deck of cards with ‘NOW OR NEVER’, a four track representation of driving top down in the pouring rain.

Having risen up through the ranks of Brisbane’s colourful club scene, Ben and Jesse’s electric pairing has offered up some of electronic music’s freshest tracks in the past year; these four being picked straight from the root, pressed directly to wax and straight to your doorstep via Galway City.

We kick off with ‘Concentrate’; an unrelenting rolling mesh of drums and tense vocals that culminate to X CLUB’s almost signature UK break sound that doesn’t skimp in intensity. Following on from that we’re met with one of the most in demand tracks of the past year following constant radio and club play, ‘Inna Trance’; an audio representation of a noughties donk and trance fan’s Las Vegas wedding gone wrong.

We flip to the B side where the aptly titled ‘SPORTS THAT REQUIRE PETROL’ takes us back to the gym for a performance enhanced drum workout before drowning us in pads and letting us up for air as we approach the emotional crescendo that is the final track. ‘Elevation’ sees the listener don their best Ryan Gosling-esque driving gloves before embarking on a rain soaked journey to finish the job; it really is NOW OR NEVER.

Completing a fantastic triptych of LPs for 2016, Will Saul's Aus Music is delighted to announce a debut full length from Youandewan. The Berlin based Brit's ten track 'There Is No Right Time' lands in October 2016 and shows a very real development of his deep house style. Youandewan is Ewan Smith, a DJ and producer who has quietly but consistently gone about fomenting his own tender brand of deep house. He has been doing so since 2009 and most recently settled on this label with tracks that are shy but seductive, and full of both motive and emotive forces. This album stays true to that narrative, but really sees the producer finding his feet with his most accomplished and elegant work to date. Much of the music was sketched out during a wintery Berlin three years ago. Having left London, hungover from a breakup, Smith found himself broke and secluded in an apartment for four months. All this lent the music he wrote a melancholic vibe, one that nods to the lonely nature of the job and to the darker side of constant partying and all that comes with it. A swelling, expansive piece of melodic atmospherics starts things off, then the soft hues of some analog chords bring a neon glow to the weightless whirl of 'Be Good To Me, Poly'. Soaring synths marry with a raw drum and bass combo on 'Waiting for L',
then 'Time To Leave (Can't Mix)' resets to a piano laced beatdown vibe that is willfully wallowing. '10405 (Alice)' is a
shimmering, crescendoing piece, and from there the second half of the album begins to take an upward and optimistic swing through the floating, graceful harmonies of 'Our Odyssey'.
'Something Keeps Me Real Quiet' is a concession to the floor with its rusted electro slither, 'Left On Lucy' calls upon friend Huerta for a flailing bit of hi-tek soulful house Derrick May would be proud of, and 'Earnest Kelly' nods to the '80s with its stomping retrosynthesis. Finally, '4D Anxiety' allows all pent up emotion and energy to dissipate via a playful hip-hop jam effortlessly tapped out on an MPC. Essentially, this is a listening album that proves deep house done needn't be reserved for the club. It is
vulnerable and musical, and stays with you long after it finishes playing.

Gentrified Underground is giving his first & sought after tape-longplayer "Cybercity Z-Ro" from 2012 a vinyl reissue and a total cover-art make-over by Walid El Barbir. These aquatic and futuristic compositions represent a seminal timestamp for Phillip's discography and electro in general.

It's been a while now since dance music stopped suddenly and also it's been a while since the Exium duo released stuff here at home.

Hector and Valentin have been busy in their studios during these uncertain days, extracting the best out of their minds and tools to create this four tracker. If you are familiar with the Exium sound over the years, you can feel here a sort of comeback to their primitive roots. The sound is harsher, more violent, the components are a chosen few but well standing in the mix, the rhythms are broken and twisted. Nothing easy for the ear. If you push the boundaries like they do, there's still hope in techno as a constantly new and risky journey. Totally the opposite of cloning what is done.

"Ascendo" relies on a broken kick surrounded by industrial noises and distorted textures. Merciless

"Atheris" uses again nonlinear drums as the basement, spicing the recipe with overdriven pads and abstract sonic elements.

"Cyclotron" is the only 4/4 cut here. A random square wave distorted synth line is the leitmotiv, joined by different layers of sonic components creating an aggressive sci-fi joint.

"Low Pressure Discharge" closes the release returning to abstract breaks as foundation, with metallic industrial hits on top.

Produced by Big Shot records mastermind Nick Fiorucci and Michael Ova this 4 tracker mines a more Electro / Freestyle centric sound that glides effortlessly. Cool, sleek, bass-heavy and immaculately programmed and mixed, the EP is an essential for lovers of analogous grooves, bass and timeless machine-funk. For example, EP opener 'Wind It Up' does exactly what it says, metronomic, clicking drum machines lead us into some epic synth breaks and a tense, sparse mood... a dramatic build-up that eventually crescendos into a deep, futuristic bassline, beautifully mixed and produced this sonic high-quality feeling is evident across the whole record, from the downtempo blissed-out Hip-Hop beats of 'More More More', to the dystopian Electro grooves of 'Don't Look Back' and 'Drive It Home' the whole record is totally heavyweight in every way. Original copies of this 1990 masterpiece are very very hard to come by with second hand copies changing hands for tidy sums when available.

Lazarus is back on Shaw Cuts with "The Rescue", a swashbuckling tale of sheer heroism, revolutionary sentiment and resistance in the face of oppression.

Following the fall of the Sung Dynasty, minister Wen, who pens a patriotic song to inspire the nation, is imprisoned by the conquering Mongols. Sung patriots plot to free the lord from the Celestial Prison by having themselves arrested and a spy release them once inside. But the prison general sets a deadly trap. "Harbinger", its heavy drums, mystic pads and untamed spirit perfectly describes the menacing scene inside the prison.

With the help of free-spirited hero Le Heru, patriot Bai Yaerh escapes the carnage. With more fighters in tow, he returns to the prison with a new plan to tunnel underground. Yet this too is a cunning trap that forces Le Heru to cover up the heroes' escape. The intense buildup of "Light The Torch" with its echoing chords and noisy elements, invigorates and drives the pack forward.

After convincing a Mongol-raised guard captain to join them, the patriots make a last attempt to save lord Wen by posing as Mongols and slipping into the jail. They finally reach Wen who has starved himself to death. The shifting drums and emotional synths of "Sinus Node" sets the serene tone needed to compensate for the loss, signaling a promising new dawn.

The legion finds hope while battling out of the prison to preserve the moving song the minister composed before his demise. "Cyto" and its melancholic mood filled with revolving breaks, powerful arpeggios and shimmering drums, leads to a shocking and disturbing end that is hard to handle.

Fully loaded rompers, drawing from influences both far and unexpected corners of the globe that have been proven to be tools for the floor. The Russian duo made their debut last year on Private Persons with their 'Forever Punk' EP, leaving a heavy mark on lovers of tape-hissed electro, EBM madness, and acid-tinged worship. With their next release, Lomay EP, we see a continuation of that same energy, but with an even more broader approach; pushing the boundaries of what EBM, acid, and techno mean today.

TRAM Planet is excited to announce the release of the 'Lomay' EP, making it the first vinyl release of the label.

Since debuting on Central Processing Unit with 2018's Projections EP, Silicon Scally has averaged a release a year for the Sheffield label. New offering Revelations finds the one born Carl Finlow keeping up that hit rate. Both Finlow's name and his many aliases have become bywords for top-draw electro productions since he first emerged in the mid-90s, and Revelations is no different - this is dystopian machine-funk of the highest quality.

With its burbling electro groove, piston-precise drum programming and plethora of gurgling synths, Revelations' opening title-track comes beamed in direct from the Dopplereffekt realm. However, as well as being a mid-set weapon of serious heft, the manner in which Finlow daubs the track with some plaintive synth chords will also bring just a hint of pathos to the dance. That wistful edge quickly dissipates when following cut 'Walk Over' homes into view - ushered in by eerie, paranoid synth work, 'Walk Over' has an air of technoid ghoulishness to it which invokes John Carpenter sparring with Egyptian Lover.

Revelations' flip is taken up by a pair of remixes that go deep on the A-side jams. The first of these sees Finlow himself setting aside his Silicon Scally cap and reworking 'Walk Over' under his own name, upping the eerie feel of the original still further by enveloping the track in icy atmospherics as well as phasing grizzled synths and wailing sirens in and out of the mix. Following close behind is Fleck E.S.C, whose reworking of Revelations' title-track marks a first appearance on CPU since 2018 for this French electro expert. Fleck E.S.C delivers a low-slung synth-funk masterclass here - as the track's laser-gun bassline invokes Drexciya, the producer guides the listener through a variety of shadow-realms populated by metallic clangs, insectoid chattering and some strangely hypnotic textures.

Silicon Scally (Carl Finlow) continues his fine run on Central Processing Unit with the Revelations EP, a set of steely electro bangers which comes backed up by remixes from Fleck E.S.C and Finlow himself.

"The Unfinished Fight Against Humanity" is SNTS' third full-length album following "The Rustling Of The Leaves" in 2015 and "Losing Sight" in 2016.

Ten tracks that are born from the combination of historical, mystical and current references, which lead to a reflection of how the human being can complicate its existence due to behaviour and the consequences that derive from such actions. The dark, hard and energetic rhythms of the album narrate the coexistence of diverse human values throughout history, from peace to war, from love to hate, from empathy to ego.

In words of the artist SNTS, "the human being has been created to live in society, the problem arises when society fails to coexist or compete to survive".

Following the success of their first release, Leeds-based label On Rotation returns with a 4-track EP from Australian producer Solar Suite. Expanding on the contemporary style of his debut release on Echocentric Records, the Slingshot EP shows off his ability to inject groove and a sense of fun into a trippy, compelling framework.

Joining him on the remix is fellow Aussie and Step Ball Chain label head Roza Terenzi, twisting the title track into a dark and brooding peak time stomper.

In hindsight, it provided me with the perfect opportunity to grow and learn as a producer.

Vault Series founder Subjected releases his sophomore album entitled 'Mother' on his Subjected Systems featuring ten ambient, leftfield and techno cuts this March.

An essential figure within Berlin's techno scene, Subjected has released on ARTS, the enigmatic STOOR and his very own Vault Series. Subjected Systems is a newer project which has so far hosted two releases, one from Transient X4 and another collaborative effort between Subjected and Andrejko.

The label showcases a post-industrial era, that keeps ties to the underground scene that gave birth to it but signals its occupation of a different realm than its predecessor. Subjected now returns with his second album for the label's third release. Entitled 'Mother', the longplayer came to fruition after Subjected became a father himself - inspired by processing the changes that were not
only happening around him, but to his partner and a new life.

Instigating proceedings, unearthly drones pave way for ominous risers in 'Untrue', before the electric 'You Know Nothing' thunders in, where buzzy leads are shaped by heartbeat kicks dictating capricious pace. 'Algorithm Lies' bounces with an erratic hollow bass while real organ samples render a dramatic tone, leading into the sinister 'Purification' with its ripping synths and clinical drums. An oscillating bassline joins stylish open hats in 'Nothing is Sure', making way for the luscious tones of 'The Lullaby of Marian' with its beautiful arps until 'Mother' generates infectious rhythm with intricate FX patterns over a steady kick. Nearing the end, 'Bloodborne Pathogen' offers a retro arpeggiated synth that meticulously develops and modulates throughout, before 'Trope' offers refreshing clarity with hopeful chords fluttering above heavily distorted yet distant drums. Finally 'Everything Should Be Fine Now' rounds things off with an exquisite ambient drone.
