Circus Recordings boss Yousef teams up with renowned New York producer Harry Romero on Jamie Jones' Hottrax featuring a remix from 8 Sided Dice founder Alan Fitzpatrick.
Liverpool's Yousef has cemented a solid reputation as a reputable DJ-producer who's released on Cocoon, Desolat, Bpitch Control and Defected, remixed the likes of Chaka Khan, Sven Vath, Moby, Four Tet and Carl Cox, and is also the brain behind distinguished events brand and record label Circus.
Meanwhile, Harry Romero has been a force within house music for over two decades, with appearances on Ovum Recordings, Subliminal and Suara, whilst Alan Fitzpatrick has done recent remixes for Prime Numbers, Hot Flush and Hypercolour when not releasing regularly on Drumcode, Cocoon and Dusky's 17 Steps. Arriving on Hottrax, the artists join a roster spanning Patrick Topping, wAFF, Mat.Joe and Jamie Jones himself.
A purring bassline drives 'I'm Behind You' forward whilst intricate percussion joins echoing notes to generate a low-slung groove. Recent Fabric mix series inductee Alan Fitzpatrick's remix then ups the tempo by utilising heady piano melodies and piercing stabs before Yousef concludes the package with a crunchy solo outing titled 'Tightrope' that boasts energetic drums and stuttering vocal snippets.

The contemporary techno talent, Architectural, releases his second solo EP on Non Series. Known for his smart production and sound design, Architectural aka Juan Rico delivers a new 4 tracker with an advanced framework. These new cuts present a wide range of sci-fi spellbinding sounds with a distinctive techno funk which fits perfectly with Non Series' tendency.

London's Weekend Circuit imprint returns with a 5 track EP from label owner Michael Wells entitled 'Three Marks of Existence'. The EP marks Michael's debut on the label and is a signifier of his future direction as a producer - meditative, tense, unfolding electronics and monochrome ambient environments inform this release. The deepest of deep space is contained within EP opener 'Antecedent', an almost menacing, enveloping track that engulfs us during it's 5 minutes or so of existence. 'Verge' follows and is driven by speaker puncturing taut, tribal drum programming and swirling satellite sounds, creeping further into the nexus. Subtly heavy indeed. 'Three Marks of Existence' mines an altogether different vein, an epic, widescreen vision of downtempo electro that is damaged, on the fritz, but containing enough melodic beauty to retain hope. Souls in the machines. Weekend Circuit acolytes YYYY return to the scene of the crime with a monolithic remix of 'Verge' that opens the second side of this EP, showcasing their unique style and interpretation of the original mix, and following on from their previous split EP with Stanislav Tolkachev and their own EP 'Intention Of Mortal'. 'Ilmatar' leaves us out and leads you into the cold night, the final transmission from the 'Three Marks of Existence' signal. Fierce drums punctuate the night sky and barren landscapes while somewhere deep inside, memories are remembered. Equal parts thought provoking and anxious, the perfect end point for what will undoubtedly be a formative benchmark in the Weekend Circuit canon.

Kamikaze Space Programme is a sonic experimentalist, an artist led by fascination with sound as much as he is led by 'destroying the dancefloor' and for his first release on Neighbourhood this fascination has manifested itself via Eastern European Cold War radio signals. Side A 'Numbers Stations' finds its inspiration in encrypted shortwave radio used by spies for communication, espionage in the cold war era.
Side B 'Duga 3' takes its stimulus from the Duga 3 radar used between July 1976 to December 1989 by the Soviet government as an early warning network for oncoming nuclear threats.

For its very first vinyl release after 2 years of activity in the digital realm, experimental ambient label Arythmic Records from Strasbourg (France) did a rather bold choice by putting its hopes into a local techno artist well known for its open-mindedness and creativity: Letherique.

After over a year of various experiments, the best ideas were selected and compiled into a series of 3 EPs, each one dedicated to a particular vibe. The first part is about the more synthetic and futuristic outcome. The second one will be rather dark and organic. Finally, the third and last one will be about the more experimental and minimalistic remainder.

Taking from many influences way beyond the world of casual techno music, Letherique ended up crafting unexpected techno tunes, usually starting with an ambient base on which he couldn't help himself adding beats in order to develop what he knew best. After years of activity in the dark, he needed something a little bit special to put into what he could proudly call his first EP as a testament of his passion for the infinite realms of the electronic music genre. These were the perfect fit.

Re_Grad is the new collaboration between Resoe and Grad_U of Redscale fame. The two of them talked about making a project together, so they started sending soundfiles back and forth between their studios. This is the result of the first two tracks they made together, pure Dub Techno deepness, but what else is there to expect!

From Quebec, With Love is the first EP from SLEAZY, a project from Stacy Boudreault (Marie Davidson) and Sam Paquette (Ginger Breaker). An ode to the rural and suburban Quebec experience, SLEAZY is the progenitor of Suburban Techno.

SLEAZY made their recorded debut in April 2017 with the single Que Calor, released as a limited edition cassette at a party headlined by Helena Hauff in Montreal. Described by NPR as "...equal parts inviting and menacing" and Pitchfork as "playful and sensual... music made for the family home's basement - a soundtrack for all the salacious discoveries one might make in that damp, dark incubator."

Fresh from collaborating with Anthony 'Shake' Shakir on their remix of Funkadelic for the 'Reworked By Detroiters' LP, Tyler Dancer makes his full solo debut for Don't Be Afraid. The 'Resisting In The Darkness' EP sees the arrival of a major new talent from America's Midwest and the first outing for a unique new voice in techno. Counting Shake, Legowelt, Marty Bonds and Jay Denham amongst those who have inspired and encouraged him, Tyler Dancer brings a deep feeling for the history and technique inherent in the music of Detroit and Chicago to his productions.

Tyler Dancer is a DJ, producer, and musician hailing from Kalamazoo, Michigan. As a student at the University of Michigan (2005-2009) he became a DJ and Training Director at WCBN FM in Ann Arbor. Known amongst the listenership & colleagues for pushing the boundaries of rock based freeform sets, Dancer gained a positive reputation for his unique historical approach to sets at house parties, dance battles, and local clubs with a focus on Detroit Techno & Chicago House alongside the music that inspired those movements. In 2014 he made the acquaintance of Manuel Gonzales aka MGUN (DBA/Wild Oats) who inspired Dancer to begin sharing his love for electronic music live and publicly under the duo's collaborative guise, 'Club Creeps'. They made their debut during the 2016 Movement Festival and continue to play live sets to this day.

Foresight is a various-artist curated series that features 4 different artists and/or tracks each time with accompanying highlights on the process and inspiration behind each piece. TrueColors is a music label that channels artist's most honest version of their creations and share it with the world through vinyl and digital platforms. The label is based between Brooklyn and London and was established in 2016.

From Argentina, Contrasilencio - a project formed by two long time producers, Tom O'Hara (Bassfactory, Minimal: Impossible, 909 Tom, Contrasilencio, Kinze Jam, 1,5,9,13 Music) and Luis Pompa (Pompa, Contrasilencio, Kinze Jam, 15C, Suculenta, Club Fantasma). A progressive, intelligent, and slow burning acid track, "Hasta el martes" marks their 3rd appearance on various compilations and their 4th overall release. Though the project may be new with over 35 years of experience between them you can be sure to expect big things.

Sergey Sapunov aka Sapurra is a Moscow born and well known DJ in underground scene. He started playing records in mid 90's. Since then he's had releases on such labels as PRO-TEZ, Plant 74. Recently he's been losing some tech house so we picked it up.

Prototype 909 are legends of the New York City underground techno movement. They've been going through their DATs of previously unreleased gems and came up with this one, perhaps their oldest unreleased track that dates back to the sessions right after their debut release in 1993. Their sound was so unique that "Acid Kiss" sounds neither dated or futuristic... its a prototype of a sound only they can claim.

Sex Of Insects have remixed 'Annihilation" by bpmf. Taken from bpmf's recent ambient release "Solaris", the track samples a Tibetan folk dance. SOI have reworked it into a dreamscape reminiscent of the great rave chill out rooms of the 90s. Considering where our civilization is heading it may just be time to dance, no

VEX, DMO In anticipation of the forthcoming 'Function - Recompiled' package, due out towards the end of the year, Infrastructure presents VEX/DMO, three tracks from two of David Sumner's lesser known alter-egos. Produced between '98 and '99, the tracks were originally released separately on 2 different 12's, and now come together, re-mastered on INF-014. 'VEX-1' is Sumner's rightful slice of historic Brooklyn House pie, amongst contemporaries like Joey Beltram, or the output of labels like Nu-Groove. Made while living and working at the now infamous music building in Manhattan, with synthesiser mecca Rouge Music downstairs, the track is a great insight into what was going at the Inanimate Objects studio during that time.
The DMO sessions were a nod to the more spaced out, string laden Deep House that resonated out of Chicago towards New York, but was also readily available at clubs like Shelter. Both 'Fifteen' and 'Movement' have capture a certain dreamlike quality, and offer a rare chance to hear another side of the producer we now know best as Function. The record received heavy support from the likes of Timmy Regisford, who made it a Shelter classic, playing it every Saturday at the club for four years. The original pressing was also one of legendary East Village record store Dancetrax's biggest selling 12's of that era. Now some 15 years later, it's re-mastered from the original DAT sessions and graces the entire B side of INF-014.

Cuplet makes a stomping return with its second release, set to become quintessential for the revived techno sound, leaving Andrei Ciubuc's imagination running wild on this 2-tracker. Uwe Schmidt has long been recognized as one of electronic music's most respected and versatile artists. A man of many talents, projects and identities including Atom Heart and Señor Coconut, Uwe's playfully ironic and acid- tinged Atom™ moniker is perhaps the identity that most speaks to the New York dancefloors where The Bunker makes its home. Several Atom™ releases are much-loved Bunker classics and with the Future Nights 12' Uwe offers a heady experiment in what happens when a track takes you so far inside your own head that you're in danger of losing your way back.

The A side is comprised of two fuzzy vocal
techno tracks that are as fun to listen to as they will be to subject to some heavy tweaking in the hands of a capable DJ. The B side, Chemistry' is particularly versatile and crazy-making with elements of darker techno stirred into a disorientingly stereophonic maelstrom that's guaranteed to cause a dancefloor to lose its moorings until the only thing keeping reality from splintering is the track's dry academic vocal reassuring us that it's all just chemistry.

This is the debut album of Swedish producer Daniel Andréasson, an artist that has both a sonically and artistic resemblance to the Skudge family of labels and artists.

Pushing his eighth year of releasing records, Andréasson has accomplished the task of creating a debut album that seem to tie together the sound of his previous EP's. Andréasson's sound is in line with a more outsider approach, but with a dance floor focus. A sound that he has been pushing since the beginning.

This approach shines through at the most on the tracks such as 'Mc35I# Rushup', 'Stay' and 'Dreams' as these specific tracks shows Andréassons more accomplished style. In between, the album keeps a perfect concept throughout. J. F. Burma is a new analog synth project of Jeremy Berman, a longtime friend of The Bunker who we met via the forums of I-F's Cybernetic Broadcasting System internet radio station in the early 2000's. While living in Brooklyn, Jeremy spent many hours each week searching for undiscovered gems among the piles of records (and sometimes rat skeletons) at notorious Greenpoint crate-digging spot The Thing. Inspired and educated by the music he was finding, he purchased his first modular and started building synthesizers and modules in spite of his lack of training in electrical engineering. Currently, about half of his current Eurorack rig has been DIY'ed via trial and error.

Jeremy put out his first EP on Shaddock Records under the name Factory Aire in 2013 and it found a warm welcome from critics, DJ's and collectors. After a move to Los Angeles and the birth of his daughter, Jeremy's music production took a bit of a back seat and The Bunker New York is proud to release the Nomadic EP, his first record produced under the influence of a toddler. All three tracks have a very live feel as Jeremy draws most of his inspiration from interacting with the music machines during late night jam sessions: When I'm jamming out I tend to gravitate towards trippier vibes, which is just a reflection of my personal affinity for acid and psychedelic music.' The three tracks that comprise the Nomadic EP are the precisely perfect mystical outsider jams for those sunrises when a bit of human-modulated machine music is exactly what's needed.

House For Her is a label founding its birth in the need that She's Gone had to express his feelings in his mixes and productions. The time came to him, 1 year ago to give the floor to other people, to let everyone build pieces of music around their lived experience.

In this release, the four artists came to cover in mist the wax in a cascade of tablecloths sometimes soft and other times more aggressive, to develop a EP rich in questioning, ranging from dance pieces to other more ambient things, Linking them together to tell a story.

Raär and MP-57, as usual, darkened in the pile, revealing brutal tracks but nevertheless completely full of feelings. In front, with a more colorful touch, has come to appease the Ep of a piece of a house deep and sexy, endowed with an atmosphere reminding us much nostalgia. And finally Entrave, in a final piece, quietly envelops us to finish to walk in this EP, as in a novel, a kind of sombre happy-end.

Claudio PRC and UNC are back on TGP alongside newcomer Blazej Malinowski. Two deep and spacey techno journeys out on 12" and digital.

Another smasher from Nous, this time courtesy of Cofaxx, AKA Joseph Magee and his boundlessly breathtaking 'Pico Vu' EP, a seven tracker that manages to cover immense ground and knowledge within a compact narrative. And each track is a mandatory component of this cleverly assembled story with startling standouts such as 'Dicey' a deep Detroity piece, layering into a Sound Signaturey space, while LA's seasoned producer Brown Irvin closes side 1 with a bolshier bash at opening track 'Tide Pool's ambient, semi-conscious swirlings. Over on the flip 'Velvet' is all golden era electronica stylings, early days Warp and Planet E on a lingering dinner date, while 'Shape to Fade in's smoky textures straddle irridescent sounds for a not-out-of-place jazzy backroom style builder.

'Great Many Arrows' is the 6th studio album from Damien Dubrovnik, the Danish duo of Loke Rahbek and Christian Stadsgaard. It is also the 200th release on their Posh Isolation label, marking 8 years for both the label and project. The label's inception came with Damien Dubrovnik's debut album, and since then the two have been inseparable. Without Damien Dubrovnik there would most likely have been no Posh Isolation, and vice versa.

'Great Many Arrows' is undoubtedly a high point in the varied discographies of both Rahbek and Stadsgaard. It is the most realized Damien Dubrovnik recording to date, and a standout in Posh Isolation's troves.

As a record, 'Great Many Arrows' manages to translate the intensity of the duo's often unrestrained live shows in to carefully crafted studio productions. Unlike the pair's earlier and largely electronic recordings, the compositions on 'Great Many Arrows' set organs, cellos, violas, wind and other acoustic instruments against the backdrop of an electronic landscape.

The new toolset is as apparent on the surface as it is in the enclosed detail, taking the project further from its noise roots than it has ever been. This is not to say that Rahbek and Stadsgaard have traded ferocity for formal constraint. It is rather the opposite. While 'Great Many Arrows' is certainly the pair's most 'musical' work to date, its veneer of accessibility might also make it their most terrifying.

The strength of the recording lies here in the interaction between the melodic, acoustic instrumentation and the bulldozing electronics. Moments of beauty and light are transfigured into utter chaos and rage, the mesmerising change an expression of the equal and opposite form's natural sway as it beckons and slips between its own passing.

'Great Many Arrows' takes its name from a historic archery competition in Kyoto, Japan, in which archers would shoot as many arrows as possible for a 24 hour period. On April 26, 1686, Wasa Daihachiro from Kishu successfully shot 8,133 out of 13,053 arrows, averaging 544 arrows an hour, or 9 arrows a minute, becoming the record holder.

Having returned from a three year hiatus with Inner Lakes's EP earlier in 2017, Vae Victis Records - the Italian label that has previously been home to music from Blawan & Analogue Cops, Chevel and Tessela - returns with a debut EP of post-internet Electro/Techno of the highest possible fidelity from mysterious collective Hype Killers.

A staple album since its release in 1998, 'Heavenly' is as relevant today as it was twenty years ago. It turned heads everywhere, got the underground scene buzzing and set dance floors ablaze like an accomplished pyromaniac. Now, the album is back for another round of Techno-flavored goodness.
Revisited, tweaked and rearranged by Kevin Saunderson under his E-Dancer moniker, the album not only comes with additional material in addition to the 1998 originals, but is also poised to fuel a number of exclusive E-Dancer live shows. A collection of songs sure to keep the dance floor ablaze for decades, 'Heavenly' (Revisited) is set to make history once more.

Makeness, the brainchild of Kyle Molleson, returns with his white label release Temple Works, out June 16th. Off the back of a Minor Science remix being played out by the likes of Jamie XX, Ben UFO, Avalon Emerson and more last summer, the EP marks the producer's most dance oriented EP yet.
The roots of Temple Works date back to the producer's time in Leeds, which played an important part in both this release and his wider love for dance music. While there, Molleson recorded a friend's percussion project, G-Bop Orchestra, at an old textile mill in Holbeck, known as Temple Works. The vast openness of the space made for the best natural reverb and is weaved throughout the title track. It was also in Leeds where the producer discovered Cosmic Slop, an all welcoming party with a sound system built by founder and resident DJ, Tom Smith, with donations going towards raising money for local charity MAP (Music and Arts Production). Slop's intimate and flawless sounding room played a huge part in cementing Makeness' love for club spaces.

A-Sided - Chain Gin' comes with stunning vibes for the summer season, while - Noba' gets contrastively deep. Mystica Tribe is the musical alias of Tokyo-based producer, Taka Noda. Drawing on a wide range of influences from dub, soul, bass music, rhythm and blues Mystica Tribe has quickly been developing a very distinctive sound that exists in a weird, freaked out zone between dub and techno. Noda is especially interested in deep, psychedelic music, and this is reflected in his productions, which are equally suited for late night listening sessions or bent, broken in dancefloors. His first track, Meditation Stick, was released in 2011 on Dutch label SD Records, backed by two remixes from label owners Syncom Data. This was followed by two more EPs on SD Records in 2013: Stars are Mine and Flowers. Artists like Gilles Peterson and 2562 have supported these well-received releases, and his track. His Temple recently appeared on Pangaea's Fabric Live 73 mix CD. In 2014, Noda is launching his own label, Mystica Tribe Records, through which he plans to continue developing his uniquely psychedelic take on dub and techno. His recent EP, "Lizard", was released on his label in 2014. "Jade Eye EP" was released on his label in 2016.

After serving up some killer original tracks from Obrotka, Abstract Music now enlists the services
of Nikola Gala and Jay Bliss to rework one of the standout cuts. The results, invariably, are
excellent.

Obotka has been active since the 90s, has played almost every decent club in the world and
because of his excellent discography taking in labels like Underground Records, Abstract Music
and Wasabi is a revered part of the global dance community.

First to remix his 'Who Needs Enemies' cut is Romanian 2020 Vision and All Inn records
associate Jay Bliss. He flips the track into a deep, rubbery house groover with muted neon
chords & crisp percussion. It's a no nonsense affair with infectious and icy hi hats that really get
under your skin.

Next up, Nikola Gala is a prolific producer whose impeccably produced tracks have become big
releases for Ibadan Records, Rekids, Freerange Records and Plastic City. He serves up two
remixes, the first of which is a Dubby Mix of 'Who Needs Enemies.' Stripping things back to an
essential, locked on groove, hunched drums, rolling hits and frazzled synth lines all make for a
seductive track that is warm and organic in all the right ways.

Finally, Gala turns out a Techy Mix of the same track that is much quicker, more urgent and
banging. Metallic chords, grinding bass and indecipherable vocal cries all characterise this more
physical version and it will bang in clubs as a result.

All three remixes here offer something slightly different, but something equally essential, for all
the real DJs out there.

This is the first album Oscar Mulero has released under his own name, after two acclaimed LPs under the moniker Trolley Route. Well known for his skills as a hard-edged, raw and floor-orientated techno dj, his productions go far beyond, digging deep into the intricate landscape of intelligent techno, floating moods, reminiscent atmospheres, harmony and detail.

Grey Fades To Green is the affirmation of his maturity as a producer, using both hardware and software in the pursuit of a highly coherent and diverse album.

The concept is split into two parts: The Grey and The Green, each one with its own character. The first part is rougher and meant for the dance floor, although pays full attention to detail and complexity. The second part is quieter, has a slower pace and is best enjoyed at home.

'Road To Pleasure' is in the same vein. Out of this world drum programming, scientific labours on the synths and again a complex and mutant arrangement for this floor filler.

Producer and dj from Cantabria Pablo Bolívar signs the new release in his very own Seven Villas, in which he takes the chance to interpret -'remixwise'- the tracks on the album 'Traverse' -by Sensual Physics which was originally released in 7V in 2016.

We are facing a very special project for Pablo Bolívar this time. His admiration for the veteran german producer Joerg Schuster -one of Pablo's musical heroes- gets highly reflected in each one of the eight revisions which form this 'Traverse (Reprise)'. What Pablo exactly does is to respect the original escapist, dubby and ambient spirit of the original trip proposed by 'Traverse', by means of adding a soft, deep and sophisticated club aura. He turn that the album Sensual Physics takes into the most characteristic 'Bolívar' style is tasteful and subtle, therefore it seems a sequel of the original one. No crashes, no harshness. Here everything flows simply in a natural way, especially that ambient-deep and tech fog which just adds a punch in any case. Tunes as 'Mondragon', 'Málaga' or 'Miracle' -among others- acquire a new dimension when touched by Pablo Bolívar's hands: always looking to their origin with respect to the original producer and the delicacy of a revised piece of work.

Parrish Smith has quietly been making a name for himself over these last years with releases on Knekelhuis and Contort Yourself as well as with his projects Volition Immanent and Sige Bythos. We see him appear on L.I.E.S. in a strong fashion through four varied dense tracks. From slowbeat EBM to Belgium klang to classic Den Hague crushers this ep forges its own path taking these cues and putting Smith's unqiue spin on them. Heavy yet still possessing groove and hypnotic rhythm, damage will ensue if used correctly. Fresh stuff from this up and coming talent.

Three cuts of heady, cerebral bliss guaranteed to push any dancefloor a little further out into the interstellar,In Russell's hands, Clay Wilson's "E4" becomes a spaced-out stepper's delight. His rework of Romans' "Coptos" lets the acidic undertones of the original run free while snappy percussion holds focus. The esteemed Will & Ink imprint hits the mini milestone of a tenth release by inviting old and new associates to remix some of the label's still essential back catalogue. The results are as weird and wonderful as you would expect of a label that has always gone its own way. Mosca flips 'Second Lucas' into something intense and brutal, with lashings of frazzled industrial synth sounds whipping about above pinging and high impact drums. Italian Chevel then transforms 'Third Lucas' into five minutes of otherworldly machine made oddness. Livity Sound star Asusu comes with a typically hi fidelity re-work of 'Second Carol.' Dubby and loopy, metallic and clean, it is a pristine track to get dance floors locked to a groove. Collin Strange has a long and storied history in the New York City underground music scene of the nineties. From owning a record shop in the East Village, to working at distributers, to playing in bands of all sorts, to producing music alone, Strange was around at one of the most vibrant (and transitional) times in the L.E.S., just on the cusp of Guliani's culture crackdown which choked the life out of the city, forcing many to leave. Currently located in Seattle, Strange has picked up where he left off years ago plugging in the gear and churning out blistering acid cuts with a very D.I.Y. edge that brings to mind Drop Bass Network, Unit Moebius, or free party French acid of old. Coming full circle these tracks are completely at home on L.I.E.S. and will undoubtedly thrash any soundsystem in sight. Play at maximum volume for total disruption.

Romanian up-and-comer Cosmjn (Cosmin Nastasa) with his latest Organik EP, is scheduled next at Naural Label .

Side A starts with Aster Ix, a track with simple percussion and a hard, yet smooth, bassline. The continuous pad and the occasionally sparky chords make 'Aster Ix' the perfect combination for an 8-minute track designed to keep you up. This 12-minute vinyl flaunts on the same side 'Twisted', which takes the darker side of the producer one step further. The dark track, 'Twisted', boldly surprises you with the trippy sequences of its repetitive vocals.

Side B is represented by the most complex track of the EP: 'Organik'"- a track playing with a natural groove as well as acoustic-based elements. It's a 15-minute journey with spacey and atmospheric-drone sounds that takes you far away while listening.

Device Control is Jake Reif's new solo production outlet which draws equally from the pools of early Wax Trax and Medusa's with the hybrid pit jack of early Farris or Rush. Machine made yet with a soul, all four cuts are for the true hyper jackers on the floor, tested and recomended.
Born in New York and spending his formative years in the mid-West, Jake Reif has served time amongst some of the best, producing alongside both Mystic Bill as well as Reade Truth; releasing well recieved 12s on Rong Music and a break out remix on Snuff Trax in recent years. Back in the day you could catch Jake clocking hours working at Sonic Groove Records among a motley crew of heavy hitters whilst honing his talents.

For its 23rd release, Berlin-based Italian label Out-ER welcomes techno fellows DJ Spider and Phil Moffa for V EP .

The collaboration between the Italian label and the two techno producers, follows a meeting in NYC between Out-ER co-founder Simone Gatto at the producers headquarter Gatto always appreciated the artists musical peculiarity and, generally, supports distorted electronic sounds, which anyway already found space on the label s previous releases thanks to the efforts of The Analogue Cops, Christopher Rau and Marieu.

The label upcoming release is an invigorating, dark electronic affair. The artists declare that V EP is inspired to the celebrated American tv series Visitors , from which we sampled several voices and sounds .

First Contact showcases a powerful bassline and rolling percussions flowing into a funky groove surrounded by various effects and noises in the background, creating an unconscious of a laying persona in surreal, almost industrial atmosphere. Beast As It Is is a broken beat tool exhibiting a few vocals sampled from the science fiction tv series Visitors shaded pads processed with compressors keep mashing with the delays and reverberations, a dissonance stands out for its special, experimental personality. As for the A1, here return the 4/4 percussive groove and sharp hi-hats with Siege , offering a vigorous, noisy aura that melts with an obsessive and hypnotic melody, wisely distorted by the two producers. Busted Main is a two-minutes ambient piece which alternates crawling pads, morbose synth lines and other clouded, sampled voices for start to end, originating a sinister air. Tang Dream is the last dancefloor-friendly tracker of the EP debuting with a windy ambient intro, the one-minute premise evolves to a solid 4/4 affair characterized by a with a vigorous beat which gets lightened by clean sparks and tribal textures.

This is the first 12 inch from Luke Jenner's first solo project since his infamous New York band The Rapture split up. Very often first releases are like a statement.
.
Both sides of this 12 represent a side of what Meditation Tunnel is about : epic and melodic on Dreamsequence, psychedelic and hypnotic on Sunrise. Mixed by Joakim, whom Luke shares a studio with in Brooklyn.

Omar Di Bongo is an audio-visual project that melts video feedback from Hugo Saugier with two figures of french underground techno scene, Somaticae (In Paradisum, Tanzprocesz...) known for his dark cutting edge techno, and C_C (Small But Hard, Kvitnu...) master of no input mixer feedbacks, and savage analog industrial beats. Their music merges industrial music with tribal polyrythms, and makes us dive into a certain kind of psychedelia between hallucination and dementia. Reduced to the essence, their productions bring back techno to its core, the trance dimension, often fogotten in many modern musics of this genre.

It is already possible to find works signed by Post Scriptum in discographies of well respected labels for quite a sometime. This undoubtedly confirms it's value. "Year Zero" is a first release on Post Scriptum's own label and in a sense it is a manifesto defining it's musical identity. No space here for a sound targeting the current techno mainstream. There is dirt, and the pinch of imperfections, very characteristic of avant-garde electronics and industrial well known for the quite nearby past.
On the A side, there are compositions appearing like shutters from experiments conducted in the secret laboratory.
The rhythm is giving the appropriate weight, while the rest is a musical conglomerate of sounds and synthesis building up a feeling of anxiety.A swarming energy, a modulation, an uncertainty and lurking somewhere danger are surrounding us.
On the flip side are remixes constituting the lighter counterpunch. Motor eurhythmics bringing to life the old good Detroit techno definitely of a dance-floor character, making this material ideal for an interesting set.

For nearly three decades, Laurent Garnier has urged himself to create on
the cutting edge of dance music. Beyond the turntables and studio,
Garnier moves between genres and performance techniques with the
aim of continuously challenging himself. Pick any moment from his
musical journey, and it's easy to see this creative momentum: there was
the Hacienda in the late '80s, his time spent in America exploring house,
the techno of his label F Communications and his entry into the realm of
jazz. "I never want to be an old artist playing my old tracks just to please
the older crowd," he says. "I don't think that's healthy." (RA)
Laurent Garnier is now a and undeniable force that is making the planet
dance.
Last summer (2013) Laurent Garnier met with Jerome Derradji over
dinner before his long awaited return at the decks in Chicago for
SmartBar. Longtime friends, Laurent and Jerome talked about the
possibility of releasing some of his new productions under the name
Garnier. A new venture for the veteran Dj and producer, that will see him
release a series of 12's for labels such as 50 Weapons and more....
'AF 0490' is the first release in the series and showcases Garnier at his
best.

and to the Chicago sound they helped create without any misplaced
nostalgia.
'Bang (The Underground Doesn't Stop)' is a dancefloor anthem,
magnificent and pure Chicago circa 1998. 'Boom (Chakolak)' takes you
way back to the Southside with its gritty 'footwork' 909 kicks, snares and
vocal loops, massive! 'Beat (Da BoxX) is a pure Garnier, Dancemania
inspired techno monster. The loop is finally complete, Garnier can now
hop on flight AF 0490 direct from Paris to Chicago to Bang The Box
once more.

This November will see Amam offer up a vinyl only release from label regular Hooved, entitled 'Blue Moon' and comprising four original tracks from the Italian artist.

Gaetano Vinci aka Hooved has been releasing material since for a decade now via the likes of Thema, Safari Electronique, Apparel, Time Has Changed and of course Amam where he returns to here with a new EP. Amongst maintaining a steady quality over quantity release schedule, Vinci has also graced the likes of Katerholzig Berlin, Sonar OFF, Propaganda Moscow and Cartulis Day in London throughout his career.

With the 'Blue Moon' EP Hooved turns in a four original compositions all untitled and numbered one through four. With 'Untitled_01' the focus is laid on howling reverb bursts and swirling dub echoes smoothly fluttering around a weighty rhythmic foundation. 'Untitled_02' lays sweeping soft chords in the background as the infectious swung percussion drives the record for four and half minutes, subtly evolving and retracting throughout.

Opening the flip side we have 'Untitled_03' which takes things in a more upfront house direction with a New Jersey style bass hook, Ghetto vocal licks, 303 acid blips and raw crunchy drums, while 'Untitled_04' tips things back into darker Deep Techno realms with hypnotic stab sequences, snaking sub bass grooves and swirling percussive hits to round off the package.

Ivan Erofeev is a uniquely gifted solo performer and producer from the mysterious Siberian city of Omsk, which was founded as a fortress town in the Eighteenth Century primarily to defend Russia's borders against steppe-dwelling horsemen from Central Asia. Here, where European maps quickly fade away, an industrial powerhouse grew, pulling endlessly upon the elemental power of a frozen wasteland. Ivan Erofeev comes from that same proud and distant city. As does his music. Having worked for several years under the moniker Aleph, Erofeev has now made things simple, using only his surname. His newest release is a bold interplay of insistent techno and witty samples from much warmer shores. Together they celebrate the mature, pulsing sounds of endurance. Whether one speaks of tribal ritual or a Siberian factory, the goal remains the same: endurance. To hear these tracks from Erofeev is to share a fundamentally human experience: to dream over and over!of somewhere else. Despite moving to Europe's biggest city, which is swamped by global commerce, Erofeev still boasts the proud trademark and outlook of Omsk. There are the magnificently enduring, life-affirming rhythms of snow-blown factory floors.

Pierre Codarin delivers three groove focused house numbers for the second release on his selftitled imprint this June. The British producer has started the year strong, launching his own label as well as producing the third release on Huxley's No Idea's Original imprint. Both releases have seen incredible support from the upper echelons of house and techno, with Radio Slave, Raresh, Mr. G, Laurent Garnier and Jackmaster all showing their support.

The Delsin c-series welcomes Sawlin for a new EP that finds him in a housier mood than you might expect. After EPs on Ann Aimee, Vault Series and Code Is Law, he has become known as a techno producer, but this proves he can do much more. Opener 'Motion Keeper' is a deep underground affair with swirling pads adding scale to the heavy, churning drums. It's soaked in ethereal pads and will suck you right in when played on a large sound system. 'Easiness Supplier' gets a little more trippy, with mastery synth droplets dancing about above busted, frazzled drum loops. It's edgy and tense builds to a seriously weighty groove over time. Last of all, 'Wired Evening' is a dark, gritty dubbed out house cut with snaking hi hats, gurgling synths and menace in the air. This is shadowy and physical house music at its finest.

After kicking of 2017 with the introduction of Faune on the last release, Ornate continues in the same vein by welcoming yet another new talent into the fold. The ambitious Amsterdam-based Sota approached Ornate with a demo that he was willing to press up himself as part of a competition he had won, but the quality of the tracks was so strong we offered to press the record ourselves and give him the opportunity to start his own label with the competition prize.Sota launched Talaman at the very start of 2017 with the Closer EP, providing the first evidence of his razor-sharp production skills. The Inverse EP reveals further dimensions to his sound, dealing in assured club tracks that strike a perfect chord between functional and soulful. Deep chords, shimmering textures and subtle, addictive grooves permeate the three tracks on the Inverse EP, where the immediacy of the elements makes for impeccable dancefloor material.
Warm, laidback atmospherics on top of punchy sections nod to Sota's Spanish roots and his Dutch location. It's a strong combination that sets the promising young artist on course to make a lasting impression with his own brand of immersive house music.

Following his debut solo release 'Altar Ego EP' on La Mission in early 2016, J Choirboy returns with more bombastic breakbeats and raucous rave chords for your earholes. Another sharp shot of nostalgia to the heart to have you waking up spluttering in the glory days of '92. Simpler times when the internet was still in black-and-white and you and seven of your mates would pile into Gaz's Vauxhall Corsa and drive to a field somewhere off the M25 for a 'propa wicked' rave which you found out about from a party hotline on a crumpled flyer with some tenuous reference to science in the title. It's once more time to don the boiler suit and your rose-tinted Lennon frames, bask in the smell of Vicks VapoRub, and pour over the Polaroid albums of yesteryear. A colossal bass drum with a healthy slathering of reverb lays the foundation in 'Full Effect'; the interlaced hardcore stab sets a melancholy tone. But lo! In rush the clattering chords of the piano, refuelling the piece with MDMA-laden euphoria. In 'Lights Down', J Choirboy explores the sombre and reflective modes of the hoover synth. Subtle plaintive chords offset the characteristic rumbling bass drum and syncopated cadences of the breakbeats. As the first release on new label Rough Grade, the EP provides an uncompromising dance floor onslaught, occasionally soothing the listener with catchy melodies before continuing course through a stormy sea of roaring beats. Not for the faint of heart. From 2008-12 Pierre Serafini ran Airflex Labs, one of the first French labels to release UK inspired bass music, and since 2012 he has been producing and djing under his more techno and electro inspired moniker PEEV. Throughout the varied steps of his career, his musicality and meticulous attention to detail have seen him forge multiple connections and alliances: notably through his work promoting his residency Haste at Lyon's iconic Le Transbordeur. Haste lasted over half a decade and brought multiple international artists from the post-dubstep and UK continuum to Lyon, where they shared the stage with local artists, helping develop the environment that has seen Lyon blossom as a scene in recent years. Pierre has now been active as a DJ and producer for over 15 years, sharing stages with the likes of Autechre, Blawan, Mount Kimbie, Shackleton, Umwelt, Andy Stott, Plaid, Hodge, Lee Gamble, Pearson Sound, Objekt, Call Super, Joy O, Beneath, Leif, and many more.
In 2016, Serafini released the highly anticipated Delia' EP, which was the first title on French stalwart Oxyd's new label Intramuros. The fine blend of IDM, Industrial, Techno and Ambient music, refined over decades in his precise productions has made PEEV one of the most exciting contemporary artists in the renascent French scene.

We are proud to present QNA and the first release stemming from Quarion and Joel Alter combining forces. Meeting years ago in Berlin, it is ironic that they first made it to the studio after Joel's relocation to Copenhagen. Recorded in Berlin, 'Tabor Session' was born - a hypnotizing piece of modern techno fusing driving beats with a myriad of synths and eerie sounds in a complete balance. Like an ensemble of dancers on the verge of loosing control. While 'Memory Lane' shows the melancholic mindset of the artists 'Sansui Cruise' is full of playfulness and raw bouncy beats in a tribal groove.

Switzerland often gets mistaken for Sweden. Joel Alter and Yanneck Salvo also have a lot of common ground. Growing up in the 80's listening to Jean Michel Jarre, embracing hip-hop and black music as teenagers and finding the way into dancemusic through drum and bass. But if it wasn't for a growing friendship and a mutual sense of humour this record would probably not have been in our hands today.

Following their 50th release milestone CPU celebrate 5th anniversary with a 2x12 LP remix compilation.

CPU has been reticent in regards to remixes, with a grand total of zero during its first five years of existence. This all changes with this dedicated remix compilation celebrating the label's 5th anniversary. The exalted roster have chosen their favourite tracks to remix from the label's back catalogue and are brought together in a very special 2x12 gatefold sleeve.

B12, Jensen Interceptor and Morphology all make an appearance alongside some of the label's seldom seen artists. There is also a posthumous Microlith remix of Tryphème - Mélodramatique.

Detroit Techno legend Anthony "Shake" Shakir is a person who should need no introduction. He has been a long time veteran of the scene since the late 1980's, releasing music using many different pseudonyms and working alongside other heavy hitters including; Carl Craig, Keith Tucker, Juan Atkins and many more throughout his long career. A career that has seen him consistently on the cutting edge of Techno, releasing ground breaking records, setting up seminal record labels and building near mythical status within the global electronic music community.

The "Club Scam EP" was originally released in 1993 and lead track "That's What I Want" is based around an inspired chopped up vocal sample lifted from the B-52's 1982 underground hit "Mesopotamia" used here to devastating effect across 2 different mixes and featuring Shake's trademark Garage-like skippy drum programming. "The Ying & Yang" and "My Mantra" are much deeper affairs, 2 variations of the same track building slowly into cascades of insistent drum programming and futuristic Detroit pads while retaining enough bounce to rock even the staunchest of dance-floors. Basically, the "Club Scam EP" is the real deal, a true connoisseurs record, one for the heads, but one for the feet also, Shake's music manages to stimulate the mind and make you want to dance at the same time. Legendary stuff indeed.

With a nod to vintage New York house through a carefully sourced vocal sample, lead track 'Cold Heart' is a blissed out, atmospheric house epic that blends crisp percussion, soulful hooks, washing pads and a hypnotic lead organ melody.
A favourite from the duo's recent DJ sets, 'Psychic Life Coach' shuffles with dubby grooves, skippy drums and ethereal vocal cut-ups, before 'Bowed' offers a high energy dose of cosmic disco and ravey techno flavours, Rounding things off, closing track 'Balfour Betty' is built around warm, swirling synth textures that meet at the intersection of Detroit techno and vintage progressive trance.

Subjected, boss of the Vault Series imprint, makes his Warm up debut with his Rest One EP.

The release includes two original tracks plus a remix by Oscar Mulero. 'Rest one' is based on a cemented beat made of metal hits, fat kicks and abused hi hats. The synthetic sequences, deep sub frequencies and aggressive drones move along the beat changing shape and evolving as the track goes on. 'Shift' is the second number; sci-fi arpeggios, subtle kicks, moving percussions and an hypnotic arrangement. Oscar Mulero reshapes 'Shift' by preserving the original arpeggio, adding effects and peppering the track with synth stabs in a constantly changing structure.

YYYY have already fortified their position in the Weekend Circuit family with the ominous drones of 'Locus Of Control', their split release with Stanislav Tolkachev earlier in the year. Returning with an inscrutable depth of self-explorative techno, the labels 14th release 'Intention Of Mortal' is a sonic dissonance of combined heavy-going and captivating artistry.
Stone Relief of God's Face is the plangent tone YYYY have chosen to begin their narrative. Formed from tribal, religious and industrial undertones, this beat-free immersive environment of sound brings with it a warm introduction.
A2 sees 'Regain' quickly permeate the release to a passage of expansive and clear cut techno while continuing a dark intrigue. The standout bass and rolling kicks make it an undeniably compelling and dance hard track, harnessed by its own evolving soundscapes.
'Intention of Mortal' with its improvised hook, merges 90s space voyager highs, echoed melody and fragmented rhythm in to an ever impending trip to the horizon of happy imminence. Thought provoking and full of stimulant, B1 brings a flood to the senses.
Saving the most dizzying until last, 'Reach For Forgiveness' is a harmonic war-machine of disjointed, pulverising electronic music capable moving the unnerved. A cross of lurching percussion makes the steady reps of the kick warped and emotive.
Expressive and unapologetic, YYYY have come back with an unneutralised description of what techno means to them.

Social Decay expands on their intense approach to techno with nods to noise, industrial and drum & bass. The Manchester duo's second LP-a triple vinyl package-follows 2014's Cosmic Microwave Background, which also came out on Speedy J's label.

Although there are hundreds of newer electronic music acts who wield heaviness and saturated sound as their primary weapons, AnD keeps finding bold new ways to separate themselves from the rank and file. The production duo of Andrew and Dimitri - conduits for the industrial music legacy of Manchester - excels at showing that aesthetic extremity does not have to equal monotony, and that it can be applied to any number of song forms.

Their new Electric Deluxe LP, Social Decay, is simultaneously one of their most overwhelming and most innovative efforts. This visceral new release comes from the same hazardous, blasted terrain that informs the work of kindred spirits like Kerridge, Oake, and Justin Broadrick's many projects (Broadrick has incidentally remixed material from AnD's previous LP). However, there is lots of room to maneuver within this landscape of constant tension, and AnD brings a diversity and story arc to their overloaded attack that distinguishes them from their peers.

Whereas AnD's previous LP Cosmic Microwave Background utilized the duo's intensity to pay homage to the enormity of the universe and the incomprehensibly violent processes involved in its creation, Social Decay takes things back to earth and right down to a 'street view' more gritty and contentious than what Google Maps often reveals. While AnD could have easily made a topical album in the way that classic hiphop considered itself an alternative news source, they sidestep obviously current affairs in favor of broad concepts that could be applied to any point on the timeline of human struggle.

Beginning with a feedback-drenched, shuddering premonition of things to come ('The First Element'), each successive side of the album presents a new level of intensity, itself brought about by increasing levels of tempo and compositional coherence. The first suite of tracks, including 'Corrupted Structures' and 'Anarchic Rhapsody,' is pure industrial music comprised of multi-layered noise collage, venomous and halfcomprehensible whisperings, and rhythm structures that compel listeners to maintain an obedient posture rather than to ecstatically hit the dancefloor. Without completely abandoning this atmosphere, the next four or five tracks flirt more heavily with hip-hop inflected beats and an unmistakable sense of hyper-urban vigilance. Window-rattling tracks such as 'Pandemonium' come across like urban audio camouflage meant to defend its users against surveillance by shadowy and invasive entities, while 'Screaming Voices' adds infectious EBM sequences to the mix.

Just as it seems like the duo is settling in to a groove, the mutant drum-and-bass rhythm and cinematic bombast of 'Resisting Authority' strikes with explosive high-tempo energy. As carefully planned out as a well-choreographed, climactic sequence from a Hong Kong action thriller, this is one place where AnD's dedication to narrative really shines through. 'Taking Control' and 'Kepler' provide the effective aftershocks to this number, while 'Disturbed Reality' closes out the album in an unexpected sense. While many would rely on a reflective, ambient 'outro' to help fade listeners back into reality, AnD just keep continuing to deliver the crunching beats and looped warning cries, maybe hinting at the fact that reality is not far removed at all from this record's representation of it.

A second release for London's Future Primitive Records brings to the fore a new hand-picked selection of hard to find - if not overlooked - tracks from Wolfgang Voigt, DJ Guy and Fernando Corona, aka Murcof. All of the music to feature on this four-track Recast EP was previously subject to tape or CD only release.
Lifted from his only album as Love Inc., Wolfgang Voigt's "Income" sits primo as the A1, holding firm 22 years after its original release. Predating Voigt's work as GAS, its caustic chords, shimmering melodies and chilled 90BPM vibe render it a production borne from the classic dub techno blueprint of the early-to-mid '90s. An early take on "slo-mo" techno.
The DAT tapes of DJ Guy have again been raided, with Future Primitive joining a select cast of followers to rejuvenate the Englishman's productions with an edit that appeared on his tape for Crisis Urbana. Both B-side tracks "Botas De Oro" and "Secondary Inspection Theme" come from Murcof's one-time Terrestre alias, a project from the early-2000s which fuses textural, slow-motion and minimal house sensibilities with Mexican Banda and NorteNo music - aka Nortec, a micro-sub-genre to come out of Tijuana. Loose percussion, swung drums and winding rhythms are made all the more esoteric through the subversively climactic nature of Terrestre's music.

Punishment Capital marks Leo James' return to his own label Body Language, after recent outings on Neubau and Berceuse Heroique. The music is heavy and the feeling is deep.

This is the first release of the Beau Mot Plage collective, the minimal/house focused project of La Chinerie.This output introduces Nunes, a talented young producer based in the south of France.It comes with two original tracks deeply leading into Nunes' inspirations with jazzy vibe and an hypnotic feeling taking place through deep bass and sharp rhythmics.The B side is a remix made with all tracks from the well known Traumer who delivers a more dancefloor oriented version of Nunes' work. This is the first album Oscar Mulero has released under his own name, after two acclaimed LPs under the moniker Trolley Route. Well known for his skills as a hard-edged, raw and floor-orientated techno dj, his productions go far beyond, digging deep into the intricate landscape of intelligent techno, floating moods, reminiscent atmospheres, harmony and detail.

Grey Fades To Green is the affirmation of his maturity as a producer, using both hardware and software in the pursuit of a highly coherent and diverse album.

The concept is split into two parts: The Grey and The Green, each one with its own character. The first part is rougher and meant for the dance floor, although pays full attention to detail and complexity. The second part is quieter, has a slower pace and is best enjoyed at home.

The Grey opens with 'Under The Street lights'. An academic techno track with FM bass, heavyweight drum programming and an evolving structure that builds up to a melodic and mental ending with an unforgettable synth line.

'Taken To The Wrong Way' slows down the bpm a bit in order to get that fatter sound. Berghain style bass drum, clever 303 bass lines, complex synth arrangements and dark atmospheres. Watch out for the dreamy ending.

'Same Streets Different Shoes' starts with field recordings from many of the world cities he's seen during his world tour, leading to an abrupt hypnotic sinusoidal sequence on top of a 909 shuffled beat for the lovers of the techno of the future.

'Seleccion Natural' is pure Mulero sound. Powerful broken rhythms, industrial feel, power and crunchiness add a sweeping drone. A full-on analogue workout. Can you feel it

A mature work that confirms Oscar Mulero as one of the most qualified studio animals on the techno landscape.

UK based Emile Facey joins the frustrada familia bringing a heavy, ice cold and highly emotive 3 track EP. Much in the vein of ERP and the likes but with a sharper sounding more abstract approach. This makes Plant43 a unique and welcome addition to the Frustrated Funk label. Highly recommended!
