Records where we see him issuing his debut six track lp. Not straying too far from his prior works, we get a wide yet cohesive grouping of tracks throughout the record. Sounds ranging from the slo-mo cosmic chug of 7th Circle, to the percussive boogie leaning Ground to Ground or the Sakamoto-esque lush b-side opener Hidden Garden, 45 ACP delivers start to finish proving equally effective on the dancefloor or in your headphones. After an arduous preparation process, TEAL009 is finally ready to be shared with the world. It consists of four tracks, evenly distributed on the surface of a gorgeous phonograph record, that can also be acquired as four digital abstractions in the format of your desire.
Sonic contributions come from two TEAL newcomers A Sagittariun and Matti Turunen, as well as the return of Jared Wilson to the label with a fresh cut of his own.
The opening drum break swirls into synth-line and syncopation europhoria on Gravitational Push. The droning bassline cuts a groove in the space-time continuum that's so deep, it could put some discussions in Geneva to shame.
The playful arpeggios of Spice Flow mask the underlying moody pads, resulting in an unusually honest piece of dance music.
Flipping the disc reveals a two-track contribution by Matti Turunen, best known from his work as Morphology with CRC. Menacing kicks and synth chirrups begin Substellar Object as a dark chest-rattling piece. However, its sonic frequency emission spectrum eventually widens into a lush composition. When we arrive at the Apoapsis of our sonic orbit, we are met with a stuttering of rhythms and bleeps. An emotional line melody confidently marks the end of our journey.

Since past year afforded ANTHONY ROTHER plenty of opportunities to enjoy his more experimental affections, ROTHERS music of 2012 clearly proves that his heart still beats to the rhythm of club-culture. Even if his last release GRID STRIPPER / APE MACHINE led us assume something like this last summer, we needed TRAUMZEITREISE / 1-2-3-4 to be absolutely certain: ANTHONY ROTHER wants to see us dance again. TRAUMZEITREISE, the first track of this strictly limited release, calls the shots. Is this techno with a harsh electro-vibe, or electro with a nasty techno-punch However, to tell the truth, we dont really care, cause with the production-support of INGO BOSS, ANTHONY ROTHER delivered just the kind of track we secretly hoped for. Already recognized as one of the principal profiles in techno, Joseph Capriati has established a reputation as a universally popular DJ and in-demand producer. Widely regarded as one-to-watch since making his production debut in 2007, the Neopolitan Capriati's rise to prominence has been nothing short of relentless. Having grown up on a diet of early hip hop and classic house from the likes of Masters At Work, Todd Terry and Danny Tenaglia, Capriati cut his teeth playing to his friends in garages and basements after school. However a pivotal 12 hour party in Naples, 2003 featuring Dave Clarke, Billy Nasty and Rino Cerrone introduced the young Capriati to a new world of techno. The sound left an indelible mark and a new course was set.
Now he is collaborating with Adam Beyer's Drumcode label, for whom he released his 'Self-Portrait' album in 2013, resident at Marco Carola's 'Music On' events in Ibiza since its inception, a priority artist for global festivals such as Awakenings, Time Warp, Monegros, Tomorrowland and Kazantip, and a firm favourite with club crowds across Europe and North & South America, Capriati's emergence within techno continues the strong lineage of talent from his native Naples upbringing.

BOOOM! This is a big one! Gothenburgs finest electronic wizard Robert Leiner is back. With a eight track LP - Melomania. Since the early 90´s Robert Leiner has been a highly respected part of the global electronic music scene. Ambient, techno, trance, acid, house, kraut - whatever. The fact that Robert never confined himself to a single genre suits Höga Nord more than well. This time he brought some friends: The Source Experience band. First track Dromomania sounds like Daft Punk would - if they were relevant. The monotonous machinery is just as efficiently mechanic as the slow liquidation of human labour at Volvo and other big companies within the car industry. Second track Drive makes us think of an unwillingly beautiful and violent tramaccident. Chaotic supreme confidence is what follows through the album. Pure organic uncompromising energy. It´s time to get down to the source for some excperience!

BASH006 comes courtesy of Brendon Moeller. One-third of BM/CC/CW, the collaborative project between Brendon, Clay, and Certain Creatures, Brendon is a prolific producer of various excursions across the electronic spectrum. Under such guises as the Echologist and Beat Pharmacy, his intricate dub techno tracks have been released on a variety of labels over the last 20 years, such as Francois K's Deep Space and Prologue.

As the return to our Bangers & Ash series, we are honored to welcome Brendon to the SUS family. The first five BASH records debuted and featured such talent as Clay Wilson, Certain Creatures, and Best Available Technology, for the next five, we're asking our favorite veterans of the NYC landscape to join our crew.

"Composing for Bangers & Ash was an opportunity to challenge myself and step out of character...listening to the SUS catalog, I would have the freedom to go deep and crazy and for that, I am thankful."

Brendon crafted two Ash-side explorations of cryogenically frozen ambiance, paired with two torque-laden techno tracks on the Bangers side. All four songs were written to capture the many moods and approaches Brendon takes as an ever-evolving electronic musician.

BASH006 will be available at all good record shops on Feb 24th, 2015. All vinyl comes pressed in lava-coated red.

Billy Nasty's Electrix label re-launched this year with the first offering from RadioNasty hitting the stores in March. Back in the
swing of things, the label now continues with a new EP by electro legend, Carl Finlow.

The 'Boot Loop' vinyl EP includes two new cuts from Carl alongside remixes from Volsoc (who reformed especially for this project)
and Radioactive Man. The digital release will also feature bonus remixes by Fleck E.S.C. and C Mantle.

Carl Finlow has been writing and recording music since 1986 and in the mid 90s set up 2020 Vision with Ralph Lawson. This
multi-talented producer has turned his hand to a number of genres but much of Carl's solo work is heavily electro tinted recording
under a number of guises over the years including Random Factor, Black Labs, Voice Stealer, Silicon Scally and Scarletron
(with Daz Quayle) on labels like Warp, Fuel, Playhouse, Paper, Trope, Sony, Klang, Arista, Soma, SCSI, Pagan, Minifunk,
Seventh Sign, Satamile and many more.

The 'Boot Loop EP' shows Carl Finlow at his electro finest. The original versions of 'Conduit' and 'Hashtag' are phat and funky, with
all his electronic wizardry on full display.

Justin Maxwell and Jean-Paul Bondy reformed Volsoc just to work on a remix of 'Conduit'. Volsoc ceased in 2003 after releases on
World Electric and Si Begg's label, Noodles Institute of Technology. But their debut alone had earned them international recognition
with 'Compuphonic Intelligence' and 'Shout Out' becoming two of the most popular electro tracks of 2002-2003.

For the final cut on the vinyl, the ever impressive Radioactive Man twists up 'Hashtag' and adds a heavy dose of acid to deliver
another remix gem, while the digital release continues with exclusive versions by French-born, now Tokyo-based Fleck
E.S.C. and Edinburgh's C Mantle (Acre Recordings).

Following two acclaimed EP's on KOMPAKT and more than a year of meticulous preparation, the bar has been set high for Marius Bubat and Georg Conrad aka COMA whose much-anticipated album debut IN TECHNICOLOR will soon see the light of day via KOMPAKT. You'll hear them answer all expectations with an ingeniously composed collection of triple A tracks constantly shifting from club to pop culture and back. Spiked with brilliant guest performances from the likes of VIMES, ROOSEVELT, ADA and also MIT's frontman Edi Winarni, COMA's debut full-length gives you an panoramic view over Cologne' new school revamping the city's sonic skyline. Purveyors of fine Cologne stomp since 2007, COMA knowsÊhow to incite a crowd. The first demonstration of that secret knowledge was given at the city's c/o pop festival, where Marius Bubat and Georg Conrad debuted live in front of a sold out crowd. They hit the ground running, winning over fans almost immediately with their personal blend of pop-infused electronics, and have been hailed as Cologne's next big thing ever since. Known for their ardent perfectionism, both producers don't take things lightly and have been working meticulously on their album debut for more than a year, ironing out the details, collecting tracks and looking for a perfect narrative: "We don't necessarily like listening to purist techno albums", COMA says, "so after playing gigs in clubs all over the world, we decided to do a pop album about club culture instead." With their ridiculously catchy synth riffs, album opener HOOOOORAY and follow-up MAYBACH perfectly showcase the balance between club functionality and its counterpart, a kind of pop-styled playfulness found everywhere on IN TECHNICOLOR. The duo happily admit to the trouble they had with being lost in floor standards: "Where our previous releases were kind of mirroring a foggy black and white movie, this is definitely a color film... our attempt at fusing diverse sounds in a more vivid manner, without falling prey to boring club conventions restricting the expressiveness of the music." Tracks such as CYCLE, MAXIMAL MINIMAL and THE GREAT ESCAPE certainly owe much to the crowd's demand for epic melodies and huge build-ups, but find themselves framed by free-spirited workouts like the stoically sung LES DILETTANTES, the angular OUT OF CONTROL or that little melancholic masterpiece just titled #. Laying out a richly adorned network of influences, IN TECHNICOLOR is also a direct result of COMA's collaborative approach: maintaining their own studio in Cologne since 2008 allowed for the multitude of cameos by like-minded artists such as VIMES, ADA, ROOSEVELT and MIT's Edi Winarni, which were all recorded on site. The most impressive part It all holds together perfectly, going back and forth between expressive songwriting and infectious grooves, readily spawning massive hits like vocoder ballad MY ORBIT or the longing MISSING PIECE. With the serene wisdom of final track T.E.D. the album comes to a fitting end, leaving the audience with one of the most engaging album experiences to have in 2013. The world just got a little bit better.

Guy Andrews first appeared on Pennyroyal's parent label Hemlock with Shades / Textures in 2011, two cinematic and reflective UK techno tracks that earned him a loyal student fanbase. He returned to the wavering imprint in 2013 with the pounding tribal thumper 'Resistivity' and has since released an EP on Leeds based techno label Fina because his ex-manager thought it would be good to "Keep things moving." Since then Guy has been busy developing a unique 'career portfolio' including composing for film and television, launching a niche specialist winter sports fashion line and lifestyle channel 'Curl goth' and more recently founding a peer-to-peer lending co-operative and crypto-currency for exchanging controversial facts surrounding the National Trust.

In-between these diverse activities Guy has channelled his inner spirit animal (Icelandic horse) to produce two monstrous yet boringly titled techno stormers: 'Ambient Track / Experiment 02' that are a natural fit for the Pennyroyal oeuvre/overdraft.

Genauso unerwartet, nur wenige Jahre später, wider räumlicher Entfernung und musikalischer Ausrichtungen, erscheint nun ihr Debütalbum "Sacred Ground" als Gemeinschaftsprojekt von Monkeytown Records und Counter Records, dem Sublabel von Ninja Tune. "Sacred Ground" ist eine wundersame Synergie beider Künstler, mit handfesten Elementen von Franks charakteristischen Sounds (tief, mehrlagig, fusionierend), die sich ach so leicht in die profunde Freiheit von Rys Stimme und Produktion schleichen. Das Projekt nimmt beide Künstler mit an einen ganz neuen Ort voll wunderschöner, hypnotischer Klanglandschaften, die sowohl ein Gefühl von Verlassenwerden, als auch Wiederfindens erzeugen.
