Transit Valley is the debut release by Joe Coghill, a multi-disciplinary artist, musician and experimental publisher based in Edinburgh. His practice incorporates sound, video, performance, social sculpture, facilitation and media distribution. Borrowing from multiple spheres of influence, his scattered output operates from a liminal position. Coghill works in an improvised and often haphazard way, incorporating disparate field recordings, modular synthesis and other sonic ambiences to create unpredictable and ephemeral multi-layer audio-visual performances. Alongside this Coghill has been producing music recreationally in his various bedroom studios over the past 14 years.

Napoel is a techno record label consisting of two djs based in Naples; this project mixes the influences of its founders.
Gi Napoletano joins the world of electronic music listening to house music but he fastly reveals his techno attitude. He starts dj-ing in 2000 in many clubs in Naples, then he drops his own ep and remix.
Secondlous passion for music dates back to his early adolescence. Born in 1984, his knowledge has expanded through various different genres of electonic music to the more innovative styles like Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop, Breakbeat, House and all the way up to Techno, IDM , Downtempo, Ambient and Chill-Out music, thus creating a complete music culture.

Bjarki returns to with another EP brandishing five restructured doses of IDM from another galaxy. Using marching kick drums as a basis, oli gumm takes references from techno, gabber and trance and morphs them into something far less easy to categorise.'oli gumm 2-2' switches frantically between glistening synth cascades and bouncing kicks. 'fork2-2' is a subdued excursion through ominous, trance-inducing strings and skeletal percussion. Opening the B side, '7 filakaramellur lion bar' spirals through warped vocals and acoustic contortions, followed by 'hatann satann', a high speed voyage through a demonic parallel universe. Closing off the EP, 'sleikjó' uses rolling drums to circle around a pit of sparse sonic oddities.

CRISPR (clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats) is a family of DNA sequences found in the genomes organisms such as bacteria and archaea. The discovery of clustered DNA repeats occurred independently in three parts of the world. The first description of what would later be called CRISPR is from Osaka University in 1987. They accidentally cloned part of a CRISPR sequence together with a gene that was their target. The organization of the repeats was unusual. Repeated sequences are typically arranged consecutively, without interspersed different sequences. They did not know the function of the interrupted clustered repeats.

The cleverly structured ambient and melodically complex ‘Strimsang Baecon4’is reminiscent of early Aphex Twin with pure electronic bliss whilst ‘Sunday Multi Acid Seq20d’ is a strong finish to the EP delving deeper within the realms of electro and acid techno.

Dame-Music strikes back! Tim Taylor & DJ Slip make their debut on the label, featuring 2 remixes from label boss Bloody Mary, and a remix from Jerome Hill.

The story behind the release dates back to 1997, when Tim Taylor spent the whole year in Minneapolis. He built a mobile studio in a rental apartment and collaborated with local modular system freaks Freddie Fresh, DJ ESP, DJ Slip and Rob Williams.

Tim had been sent music from these guys for a few years prior to his stay in Minneapolis, and he was amazed by the amount of analogue gear in their studios - real exotic, rare stuff for the time. During this period they did different jams with these various systems and recorded to DAT with live mixing. In many cases, these were just sketches of stripped down tracks with increasingly unusual bass and live delays.

These recordings were planned as an alternate limited series project to Tim Taylor’s label, Missile, with the plan being to release these experiments under the name "Fear of Music." The aim was to try something beyond what a regular DJ club label could put out.

Fear of Music 01 “Pleasure Unit” was a collaboration between Tim Taylor & DJ Slip. It was originally released in 1998 and quickly became a cult track. At the time it was just a 90's analogue adventure, however it was always intended to return to work on some of these tracks at a later date.

So here we are, 21 years later. Dame-Music proudly presents the original track by Tim Taylor & DJ Slip, freshly remastered by Thomas P. Heckmann at Trope Mastering, including 2 fresh remixes by Bloody Mary and 1 by Jerome Hill.

Electro Transmissions 008 is a various artists release, what we call the Xtermination Krew, with tracks by Lowfish, N-Ter, Datawave, Astrobee, T/Error and Foreign Sequence. Very limited units on colored vinyl, packed in a really nice way as we have come to know by the Fundamental crew.

The System 108 anniversary record sums up the label's five-year work without words. The new collection is an impression of everything that the team has become during its existence. System 108 has matured nominally and stylistically, defining for itself three main directions: post-industrial, techno and break-beat, disco and house. Each of the three parts of the new collection reveals one of the musical trajectories of System 108 development: Part 1 is a dark story that covers the genres of new beat, EBM, acid, new wave, with a light touch in Goa trance by Mashkov.

Conduit contains moments from the last two or so years of my life. There have been a lot of trying times and ups and downs in there. These moments are the exhaust of that life. Some more subjective than others. We are simply conduits for whatever flows through our cores. We tap into it. We allow it to flow through us. As it takes shape, we select its forms and hone its output. We are simply conduit for our work. Maintain the Flow State.

Written way back in 1999, this untitled Voy-E EP was released in 2000 only as an extremely limited white label promo, before the original label shut down and its full release was cancelled. Due to its scarcity and the quality of the tracks, prices skyrocketed while the release remained an enigma. After spending months trying to track down whoever was behind the record, a very delayed response came from over LinkedIn (of all places - one of many methods tried) simply saying “what you wanna know?” followed by a US phone number. This finally led to unravelling the mystery behind the release.

Both Voye and the original label owner, James B Boggs, had no idea that the EP was so in demand and were absolutely stoked about doing a reissue. They both live in North Carolina and left the music industry behind nearly two decades ago, so it means a lot to them that people are still enjoying their work.

The EP is a product of the Florida Breakbeat scene that was happening across the US during the mid to late 90s, which the original label was heavily involved in. One of only two Voye EPs ever released, this collection of tracks has been re-mastered by The Exchange in London using the original master CD from the now defunct label's owner.

Selwa Abd (originally from Morocco, currently residing in Brooklyn) uses the fictional character Bergsonist, from Brooklyn, Slovakia, as her musical guise. Derived from Deleuze's Bergsonism, Bergsonist uses intuition as a method to deliver her/his instinctive psychoanalytic theories.

A blend of different audio sources and samples are used as a way to capture the essence of the 'present' moment, manipulating found sounds along with self-concocted digital fragments to combine in in the span of a set, given time. Bergsonist allows inspiration to come from anywhere, yet she/he limits themselves by the gear/tools that are used. The approach consists of inhaling all the energy of the city - influenced by trips to museums, galleries, shows, talking to people. and sensing nature - and exhaling it sonically. Bergsonist reacts to this energy and inspiration without any specific rules, styles, or genres - extending the array of possibilities by always pushing preconceived uses of the tools.

Following a slew of cassette-only releases from labels across the global map and a split 12" with Isabella on Borft Records last year, Selwa shares her most twisted and considered compositions to date with Mutation. Four fire-stoking tracks of electro convulsions sparked from indecipherable depths inflame new terrains for an artist whose output is inextinguishable - prolific barely covers the rapidity with which Bergsonist shares new jams to a lucky few - proffering Mutation as an indelible moment in Selwa's blossoming career. Mutation features a ripped / thrashed remix from in-the-cut edit wizard, Murray CY. Mutation will be available in a limited vinyl edition of 200 with artwork designed and conceived by Selwa and Benoit Canaud Studio.

French wielder of exotic machine music Epsilove debuts a full EP of sensuous, melodic electro on Dekmantel. Formerly one-half of Syracuse, Isabelle Maitre depicts a vision of daring, yet euphoric vocal-led, dreamy electro that oscillates with sturdier, warehouse sounds full of heaving 808s, and experimental qualities.

‘Time is the longest distance’ preaches the qualities that brought Antinote’s Epsilove to the distinguished status she has today. It is the sound of chic dancers, shuffling-together leisurely under neon lights, pressing against each other along to nostalgic acid basslines, interstellar synths, and dreamy, cinematic vocals. Rich with harmony, emotion, and cold-wave sensuality. ’Sea Snakes’ pulses faster under a Drexciyan dream-state, painting kaleidoscopic motifs, as the 808 rattles out multi-paced tempos, driving levels of uncompromising Detroit velocities, through to Lynchian-mirror-world listlessness. It’s an acid-acid test of colourful, pulsing electro.

On the remixes are fellow Parisian’s Ali Bobo (Bruits De La Passion) and Shelter (Bigwax Records), who rework ‘Time is the longest distance’ into something more sinister, reflecting the dystopic IDM aesthetics of early Rephlex Records with playful, darkened electronics. The more elusive pairing of French producer HAJJ (Dawn Records) and Lastrack (BFDM) meanwhile, team up to turn ‘Sea Snakes’ into something that harkens towards the world of Warp-like experimental and progressive contemporary post-trap, and breakbeats.

NYC by way of Miami, Moist 96 is a new project of Rene Nunez, mostly known through the years for his work under the name, Horoscope. Culled together from decaying tapes, bled out and dubbed one too many times over, Nunez took pieces from these 4 track demos drawing back on the music of his youth; Miami bass, freestyle and coked out funk to create this record. The lp being a raw in your face snapshot which is the musical equivalent of a pit bull being locked in a car for hours during a heatwave with the afternoon mix show on full blast.

This is not trying to be some jokey-ironic-funny-costume-campy bullshit. It is trying to be on some real illegal pre-internet bootleg rush-hour mix; 808's on blown-out car systems; cassette tapes melted in the center console speeding by Hot Wheels and Club Madonna’s neon signs; pants-shitting bass frequencies, like a roundhouse kick to your chest type shit.

After a first release on CPU Records last year, the Montreal and Lahti-based duo is back with a new EP on WeMe Records. Hexamer Recon comprises six tracks of hard-hitting, acid-tinged live jams recorded in Montreal earlier this year.

The Album was the fourth LP released for Rephlex and was the first and only time that Grant Wilson label Claridge and Richard James's label released in a digital format only, "The Album" contains 13 tracks amongs the best rhythmic and melodic experiments of the Italian duo DArcangelo on Rephlex, from the musical planetary thoughts of 'Memento' to the brazen "Wild and Loose" walk and the 'Naara' frantic minimal due.. the marked rhythm of 'Circuit Deevel' while or 'Coal Garden' moments of various broken style. Now thanks to WEME records 'The Album' is printed on vinyl for all those who love the idea of having a tangible listening and tactile possession of this release. Listen, take it, collect it.

DJ Sotofett and LNS have teamed up with Tresor Records for Sputters. The double-vinyl album with 15 cuts spans a hybrid of warped electro and psychedelic hypnosis, all the while remaining fixed in an unmistakable dance release. Recorded between 2017 – 2020, and bookmarked throughout by intros and interludes dug out from archival material, it's a deconstructed yet classic compound of techno-sonics.

LNS from Calgary, Canada, is rooted in braindance, electro and acid. Releasing 12inches on both her self-titled imprint LNS and Sotofett’s Wania - LNS, whilst in the studio, has often pointed out “the lacking blend of dub and electro in dance music”.
DJ Sotofett, hailing from Moss, Norway, is among a myriad of things commonly known for the extended work of his Sex Tags Mania and Wania labels, without forgetting his afro, dub and jazz releases on Honest Jon's London.
Together both artists give space to a guest appearance by E-GZR, a fellow Wania artist, to open the Sputters journey. The sinus bending drum stutter of K.O. by E-GZR collisions flanging basses and chronic-inducing synth pads to blueprint the technoid atmosphere to come. LNS & DJ Sotofett take control with El Dubbing, evoking an effect-heavy demeanour, typical of the Sex Tags Mania soundworld that DJ Sotofett is responsible for, this time rubbing up against solid electrified rhythms. The hypnotic moods carry over to Dúnn Dubbing's deep delays, freely running over a surprisingly minimal skeleton retaining a solid direction. Crafting a warmly emotive end of Side-A with sparse rhythms to perfection.
A meaner turn introduces Side-B. Hints of electro are scattered everywhere, fat basslines, ricocheting drums and synths that mourn and drift in and out of harmony. Vitri-Oil exposes a tumbling sound design, fog-lit chords of material fragility and nosedives - with an alive mix that wallows and grows in equal measures. The side closes with Shim, a classic drift between house and techno releasing sensual euphoria with the albums first big surprise – grand strings.

“LNS wanted to sell her TR-606, while my reply was for us to make a track with the 606 sounding so fresh that she'd never even think about selling it again” Sotofett states. Side-C proves the artists to be some of the most singular producers around with album centrepiece The 606. Clocking in over 10 minutes, it kicks off as a driving techno banger, chugging bass and big chords. Midway through everything falls away, and out of the void enter scattered drums and improv piano lines emerge, while twisted dubs lead us back in an enduringly warm groove.

Side-D sets the clock back to the original electroid foundation of the album, casting fires with alien vibrations. Synchronic Bass Blort is a hard-hitting electro track, steaming sonics and thrills, its melodic hook diving in subterranean motions. On Sputtering the duo raspily beams into outer space, with fizzy motives that disfigure and dazzle while the harmonies of the closing track is for yourself to experience.
DJ Sotofett and LNS deliver an album inhabiting a world full of sci-fi sonics and fierce groove. Their sound is free and live, simultaneously wondrous and sharp.

Beartrax is back on his own taste-making electronic label Melodize with a pair of fantastic new singles that get fine remix treatment by the cult underground figure that is Carl Finlow.

American Beartrax has been experimenting with electronic music for 10 years now, and has built up a fine reputation and discography that often leads to Beatport chart toppers and gets big support from high profile DJs.

Up first is Dream Riff, a low key roller with nice melancholic pads and crisp, crunchy hi hats as well as killer bass. It's a melodic musing that really carries your mind away from this world while keeping your body locked to the drums. Remixing is Carl Finlow, who has been an electro mainstay for decades. His version is haunting and minimal, with spooky bass notes and clacking hits that makes for a deep and atmospheric jam. Repentance closes out with nagging bass and a lead melody that is cautiously optimistic.

This is another classy EP from all involved.

Karl Kave makes his appearance on Lux Rec for their first release in 7" format. Four terse tracks influenced by his past experiences, high and low as they come, tumultuous thoughts and life events. The result is a sombre nostalgia for all that is not there anymore. Coming from Rheintal, a valley on the eastern part of Switzerland, he uses English, German and his native Swiss dialect to sing. Doug Lee returns to the label under his AN-I moniker, this time collaborating with prolific Greek producer Unhuman on a new four track ep. This is what happens when you take all the right elements of techno, punk and industrial music and smash them together; a fucked up and devastating hybrid of blistering modern electronics. Heavy, but not stark by any means, Lee channels his inner Liasions with his vocal performace through the record. Most notably this is heard on the cut Entschuldigung, snotty laughs and scattered barks accent the stuttered drums and ms-20 feedback; Lee bringing it all together in a sarcastic funked up fashion. Five to Nine sees both producers complimenting each other expertly, clocking in with the most "dancefloor" cut on the ep...a twisted five minutes of screaming psychedelic dance that reaches an epic anti-climax of sorts. A true hit for those who know how to use it right, not to be missed.

The Russian cats are rolling frozen melons on you this winter. Slow hypnotic grooves that will cool you down on the dancefloor, and A Vega style to heat you up on your way home through the snow wheel. This will get you through the night alright.

‘Dreams of empty spaces’ is the second release from Electro Label Suborder. With that new EP, French based producer NGA doesn’t bother about flourish and goes straight to the point. Expect nothing but 3 dancefloor killers. Every track is a pure piece of Minimalistic Electro which will perfectly fit in every highskilled DJ set. Whatever the side you choose to play, you can count on that mix of metallic
basslines, 808 drums and hypnotizing keyboards, to activate clubbers body mechanics.

Teatre hails from Lithuania, a place especially dear to the Lux Rec team both for personal and musical reasons. For his first vinyl release Teatre produced six tracks which span from powerful, vital straightness to brooding resonant laments.

This record would not have been possible without Ernestas Sadau, Roman Sputnik, Kestutis Lingys and Eivydas Kantautas of Digital Tsunami. Nor without Kotryna Lingiene, who helped finding and contacting Paulius Lileikis (the photographer), and Paulius, that granted the permission to use the picture on the front cover.

°s is inspired by patterns in urban nature: language; behaviour; seasons, and alongside poetry, explores the cyclical psychological peaks and troughs experienced during the pandemic. Live multi-instrumental improvisations apply the fibonacci sequence to create melodies and rhythms that mimic fractal patterns in nature, and are situated within binaural field recordings captured during essential travel in the first lockdown.

As Toolroom Trax marks it's 100th release, it felt only right to have one of electronic dance music's most prominent duo crown the milestone, none other than Booka Shade. This limited-edition vinyl also includes a very special remix from head honcho, Mark Knight.

'Trespass' is a seminal record, first released in 2006 as part of the 'Night Falls' EP. Fast forward to 2019 and Booka Shade have given it a fresh lick of paint and it's now primed for today's tougher, more Techno orientated floors.

On their new 12“, Obsession EP, Berlin-based duo CYRK expand on their unique permutation of sci-fi-inspired electro. The title track is another fine example of the brooding and cinematic atmosphere they have championed lately. Recalibration ups the ante significantly. It’s a fast-paced and tense dance floor smasher replete with screams and powerful howls by Berlin-based singer Sunru. In his remix, veteran producer The Hacker slows down the tempo and turns the frantic original into a slow-chugging lesson in new beat intensity. DJ LOUI on the other hand, strips away the layers of pads and focuses on the bass line of Obsession, turning it into a bare-bones rhythm track with an 80s twist.

Kerrie makes her CE debut with the first of two EPs for their vinyl-only sister label, Cultivated Electronics Ltd. Originating from Ireland, Kerrie made a move to the UK in 2010 settling in Manchester. She soon joined Eastern Bloc Records, spending her time behind the counter selling records before moving into the role of events coordinator in 2017. Honing her DJ skills through a residency at Eastern Bloc, Kerrie has gone on to be a regularly booked act for some of the UK & Ireland's most prestigious underground club nights and recently made her Berlin and NYC debuts. After a few of years of producing in the box Kerrie made a move to a hardware-only set-up in 2014 and since then has also taken her analogue live shows on the road to various events and festivals including Freerotation and The Warehouse Project. In 2017 she released her first track for I Love Acid's 10th anniversary compilation, with a follow-up EP for them in 2020. She has also released an EP on Semtek's inimitable Don't Be Afraid and has recently started her own label, DMF with a string of releases lined up for this year. 'We Continue Part 1' is defined by Kerrie's organic production style across its four tracks, bridging the gap between raw, driving tech and twisted electro with acid flourishes, tough beats and dark bass notes.

Sound system orientated experimentations around the hardcore rave continuum thematic by our collective member Stefan Dubs.

A unique release with four tracks, each by a different 030303 member from the first hour. Bohm kicks off with Tranquility, a moody and atmospheric acid electro track; hard hitting snares, 303 bubbles and and a dark cloud of gloomy drone. Freek Fabricius' track Druk op een Knop is part built up by samples taken from an obscure gaming device for small children. The result is a bizarre and spooky track, loosely held together by a messy Roland melody. Geel Acidvarken's excellent contribution is one to listen to again and again and reminds a little of Plastikman's Consumed project; lots of dreamy reverb effects on the warm bleeps with persistent snares and rattling rim shots added to the spaciness. Piepiep's System 100 is a brilliant funky beast, hectic and crystal clear at once with lots happening yet a dedicated focus on the floor. A very strong 12" and a big tip!

Spat out of Helsinki's underground punk and metal scene of the Lepakkomies institute, Sansibar steps up with his debut vinyl release of chronic electronic plague pulled from winters of darkness, new beat and discarded political manifestos. This is the final conflict.

The Liverpool, UK artist has been releasing on the label since 2014 but this is his first since 2015 and it features four more of his expansive and textured club tracks. With one foot on the dance floor and a mind lost somewhere in the cosmos, ASOK again combines breakbeats, astral synth work and prickly percussion into fresh new forms here. The title track is a twitchy and futuristic bit of house with glistening and distorted textures, Find A Way has a rubbery bassline and old school rave breaks, and Many Locations is a bumping bit of deep Detroit house with a real sense of serenity. Closer Baal ends in the heavens, with celestial ambiance, spinning hi hats and broken beats all sounding delicate yet dynamic as rasping bass ties everything together. This is another timeless and adventurous EP from ASOK.

Nearly twenty years on from his last solo sortie, Tommy Gillard reemerges as Curved Needle with “Rain Of Molten Iron” - a new six-tracker scoping out the confines between hi-octane body music and FX-riddled experimentation.

After spending most of the decade working in the studio with Oliver Ho alias Broken English Club as Zov Zov, the West London-based producer reignites the flame of trueschool horror electronics with five cuts heaving us into a furnace of post-apocalyptic machine talk by the scruff of the neck, complimented by a remix from Broken English Club.

Black Dice's Eric Copeland returns to L.I.E.S. with his second release for the label, this time in the form of the 34 minute long "Jesus Freak" mini-lp.
Copeland has continued on his path of deconstruction- forming tracks of of scrapped samples, damaged loops and controlled chaos. Certainly not easy listening music, somehow Copeland manages to pull through with his demented pop sensibilites crawling up from the muck and spawling out on the beach to catch a tan. Jesus Freak is as addictive as it is confusing with it's screwed vocal hooks and demented twang heard throughout. This is best demonstrated on the closing track Billy Goat, which can be summed up as mouth harping redneck psychedelia cruising down a polluted river to nowhere. Just when you think "Jesus Freak" resembles something you know seconds later it becomes foregin and unattainable, yet remains headscratchingly familiar.

Exhausted Modern from Prague (Endless Illusion founder) and the techno veteran DimDJ from Thessaloniki are going together on this split EP, the fourth release on Lyon's imprint Blue Night Jungle. With their strong analog approach, they each explore the infinite possibilities of raw sound materials, going from wild acid aesthetics to classical Detroit's electro aesthetics. Two universes that are largely complementary, strengthening each other, and therefore creating a beautiful representation of what BNJ "Dance" sublabel aims to focus on. With this new release, Blue Night Jungle goes fully European by letting these two underground artist express themselves through a common way.

Extrawelt are busy this year and a buzz for their new music already exists so we are exited to release their brand new EP for Traum.

Their opening track "Mr Wednesday" is probably one of the most adrenalin packed tracks we have heard for a while. The track is a beast of a techno track constantly changing its color in a pace that pushes you to the limit. Don’t you think the break will give you relief, the opposite is the case... the break here seems to spark off new energy. Extrawelt do what they do best by letting their synths speak in a human syntax! And man how upset "Mr Wednesday" is! Raging with anger this track goes berserk and cries out loud. This is techno with its original message to shake off the dull skin of everyday life offering a parallel more personalized world. This is a topic which could not be more up to date.

The second track "Little We Know" is nothing less than a rocking bass-line funketeer but draws more on a melancholic state at times. But since we know Extrawelt it is not for long until they drop an uplifting sick theme in retaliation. This track is an emotional rollercoaster by any definition. And it has the surprise at its side for example you will suddenly hear a melodic theme which you would like to hear in a new episode of Dr WHO !? It is very clear by now that Extrawelt are full of creative ideas and could probably make a stunning bass drum out of a banana.

The third and last track "SEM" features a flow of heavily changing sequences but more in a way that sees the sound settle down, as we know it from dub music. Which is a good thing to do after two tracks that are tempo reflecting trax. Having said this Extrawelt spit out a machine made hi-hat pattern that elevates also this track towards techno madness. If you have ever seen one of Extrawelt’s live acts this EP very much verifies that. The flow of energy they generate can be highly addictive.

New imprint Ernest’s Way delivers its first offering with a debut release from Australian based artist Featherstone! The A-Side of this four-track EP offers two highly effective dancefloor cuts that ride the line between many diverse influences of electronic music ranging from acidic electro to the early roots of techno.
The B-Side follows up with two deeper, heavily emotive tracks that drift into an uplifting, euphoric and dreamy atmosphere whilst remaining complimentary to the driving rhythms that open the EP.

SYNE is the new alias of Dennis Huddleston (AKA 36), who is likely to be a familiar name to those of you who follow the modern ambient scene. The SYNE label is dedicated to his techno/dancefloor orientated productions, where wistful strings and drifting pads meet vintage drum machines and 808 basslines. From the melodic, midnight electronics of ""SYNE 2"", to the thunderous dread march of ""SYNE 5"", culminating in the moody Blade Runner-esque vibes of ""SYNE 8"", the SYNE LP is sure to find its place with lovers of deep, emotional techno music.

Following his debut LP in June 2017, Trenton Chase returns with “Planar Array”, a 7 track LP on Artificial Dance. As half of Manie Sans Délire and the co-owner of June records, he’s known for his uncompromising sound that touches a wide range of genres. Realize the Melodize: Beartrax's explorative new label returns for its first foray into 2021 with rising Spanish talent Univac.
Spotted by Beartrax through his release on David Vunk’s Moustache Records, he knew Univac’s cold but melodic style would be the perfect fit for the label. Both written on Univac’s Moog Rogue, these two crisp originals (amplified by incredible remixes from none other than Extrawelt and John Tejada) prove it…
‘Mandelbrot Set’ takes the lead with confidence. Upbeat, sinister and tense, it zooms right in on the details as sci-fi flurries glitch and spasm over the neck-snapping breaks. Extrawelt is a great choice for remixer as he loosens the belt and brings in layer upon layer of flabby bass that brings a whole new level of funk to Univac’s numerical complexities.
‘Polar’ is premium electro best served cold. Pneumatic beats, steam roller bass and cascades of acidic layers, it’s every bit as icy as its name suggests. Finally, Tejada throws a few bugs in our bassbins with his own jazzy, freeform take on ‘Polar’. Spacious, swinging and powered by breaks that sing from the good book of Photek, it’s the sweet glacier cherry on a deliciously glacial cake.

The stars aligned, everything was in favor. It was not a good idea to pass up this opportunity to create something like Syntax. After a lot of work, the first reference finally appears collaborating with artists like: Dez Williams, Go5, Lex Or, Soj Negocius man, Electrodynamique y Mauro Nakimi.

Cobra Club's second release, Mariahoeve EP comes directly from the magic hands of Endfest. After dropping some bombs on his own EP on Endless Illusion and a killer track on a compilation for Analogical Force it was time for another solo EP, suported with amazing remixes by Mark du Mosch and Dj Overdose as Rotterhague. Meeting Mr Magpie on the A-Side starts it of by hitting you hard with a straight up Gloomy beast of an Electro track, the remix by Mark Du mosch takes this track to another dimension stretching it out and adding his much loved vibe to it. On the B-side the dreamy and at moments even poppy Electro jam makes you want to take Bus 53 straight to the sandy shore of Scheveningen. Dj Overdose's Rotterhague remix flips it into a street version that has more of a link to harbour of Rotterdam than the beach of Scheveningen. Both sides come with a short version of the full length track ''Drank''.

Morphology return to Cultivated Electronics with the follow up to their 2017 EP 'Mind Stealers' (CE023). 'The Dark Wheel EP', coming in March marks their fourth EP for Sync 24's label. Morphology are Finnish duo Michael Diekmann and Matti Turunen. Formed in 2009 they have already clocked up a series of EPs and four albums across labels including Solar One Music, CPU, FireScope, Zyntax Motorcity, Semantica, and of course, Cultivated Electronics. Fans of Morphology will already know how they fuse early electro sounds with haunting melodies to create a deep blend of atmospheric future funk, and their new EP 'The Dark Wheel' is no exception, as they deliver four tracks of faultless production technique, warm synths and crisp drum-work.
