Substrato continues its path through the research of sounds from the hidden worlds. The label returns with the first various artist called 'Submerged Worlds'. This release is marked out by the juxtaposition of artists coming from different areas lead together by the exploration of sharpened sounds, contributing to this timeless installment.

The A side brings together two Italian artists: Neel and Retina.it. The first with his 'Fumana' track showcases his high-level proficiency in sound design, hypnotizing us with a surgical production of dark and mindblowing sounds. On the B side of this release join forces two of the most talented Scandinavian artists: Acronym and Evigt Morker. 'Permafrost Melt' is a endless progression of dreamy and tripping waves leaning on a solid groove. 'Dodligt Sar' soaks your ears with its submerged sounds settings, moving constantly thanks to an accurate groove structure.

“VLVX Spiral Down” and “Hurt Me” were Inspired by the crazy energy of DIY Fetish Techno parties, which are generally better than corporate-sponsored fetish parties, although Red Bull Leather Academy has done some cool stuff. Meanwhile, “Blow” and “I’m Gonna Get” feature big vocal samples repurposed from Viers’ “deep dive” into the history of jungle music. If you enjoy this release, please do us a favor and never use the term “deep dive” again. Just say you’ve been “bonin’ up” or something.

Moon Harbour is delighted to announce the Autumn 2016 release of Momentum, the second full length album
from label boss Matthias Tanzmann. Arriving eight years after his debut LP Restless, the outstanding follow-up
impressively demonstrates that his artistic restlessness has not been decreasing over the last couple of years.
On the contrary, Momentum undoubtedly proves once more that Matthias' impact on the scene is still steadily
growing with an end not in sight and that his efforts to advance are ever moving forward.
Recent times have found Matthias having huge success via fruitful collaborations with the likes of Martin
Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Daniel Stefanik, amongst others, but now back on his own and more energetic
than ever, he is firing on all cylinders as a solo artist. Loosely rooted in a variety of house styles, Momentum
shows a subtle return to some of Tanzmann's earliest musical roots. Just as Matthias declares himself, It is stuff
to listen to at home, stuff I like to listen to away from the club', before adding that, of course, it also contains
tracks that are 100% what I love playing in my DJ sets.'
The ten track release is an impulsive and emotionally moving affair that offers a fantastic snapshot into the
current musical mind of the artist. With a process initially starting during his times abroad in Thailand and South
America, this most coherent and complete album has been slowly coming together over the last five years. In
customary manner, the album is quite different to a normal EP from the German producer, given that it features
plenty of deeper and more cerebral moments than most of his past works.
With a perfect mixture between listening pleasure and pure dancefloor material, Momentum contains tracks
ranging from deep and broody house style with warm pads streaming over infectious drums to serene and
atmospheric jams with real funk in their bones. Next to more downtempo sultry house vibes, the harder, more
freaky tunes will get floors bumping with their punchy drums, wiggling synths, drilling bass and loopy vocal
sounds. With more soul infused party grooves rounding up the experience, the release truly brings along the
whole range of carefully plotted ups and downs necessary for casting the listener under a hypnotic and heartfelt
spell of house music.

The album will be celebrated with a worldwide release tour from October to December 2016, highlighting once
more that only a few have the exact same sense of electronic music artistry as this man does.

Standing at one point at the dawn of a bright tomorrow: new life. Paired with a technologically backlashed futuristic city scape: piles of illuminated displays, desolate buildings that stand tall as a symbol of a former glory. 'Krasch 3' is a scenery with different takes on the same theme. 'Edge of Tomorrow', 'Emerge' and 'Route I' symbolize the brightness where 'City Entrance', 'Backstreet' and 'Route II' brings us a dystopian vision of the next tomorrow. Originally released on the legendary Pacific Records label outta London in 1996, 'EP #1' see the man Lee Renacre don his prestigious 100HZ pseudonym for a killer 4 tracker of rolling future-leaning tech housers. Tons of tones, flavours and styles on this slab of wax, EP opener 'Holic Soda' channels some tripping minimalism, cascading melodies intertwining over shuffling hi-hats giving everything an almost 'Robert Hood lost in London' feel. Ace. 'Foxy' is a very different proposition, it's all stripped back, jazzed out wiggly keys and someone's voice saying 'FOXY' over and over the skeletal drums while the bassline pokes us in the ribs, one for the movers!
The b-side goes scuba diving straight away, the first cut 'Southern Lights' takes us under the waves, to the ocean floor with it's pacey bleeps and incessant chords, easily one of the highlights of this EP and an altogether killer track, true school techno - London style.

'Shapes' finishes us off, a shifting narcotic jam that unfolds and reveals ore and more sounds in the deadliest fashion. In the right hands this (& the other 3) track could do some serious damage in the right space or on the right floor. A masterclass in vintage, late 90's techno and deep house right here - do not miss! Hamburg based Label Mantra Mantra drops its first EP by 11Schnull.
"IMPERIA" is not only the first release by 11Schnull, Hamburg-based Dj and producer, but also marks the birth of a new record and design label named MANTRA MANTRA. It will release electronic music from up-and-coming artists as well as handcrafted merchandising items, created specifically for each new output.

On this first EP the title track spans over an epic length of 10 minutes and combines an ecclesiastical sample field-recorded in the basilica of Imperia, Italy, with trippy choral soundscapes and hard crashing drums. The B side contains "Jam des Terrorglobus", a rough uncut session he held with his friend Baxmann, and a dark and quaky electro piece called "Roofies on fire", a harsh club banger that could potentially be the last track played at an illegal rave before the "Polizei" shows up. But this part of the story will be told on vinyl only.

Dave Simon comes back on his own imprint Proper Techno Tunes with his "Stripes of Soden EP".

Chicago legend DJ Rush delivers 2 outstanding remixes (one of them exclusively available on the digital release).
Also on the remix duties are Germany based TWCOR and Hungarian talent David Temessi.

R&S Records team up with London-based label More Time Records for a four track compilation repping their signature sound of forward-thinking, percussion-driven dance music.

More Time is headed up by DJ/producers SNØW and Ahadadream, their releases reflect an international vision; marrying the sounds of Ghana, Trinidad, Saudi Arabia, The DRC and South Africa with a rugged UK edge that harmoniously circles bass, afrobeats, UK funky, grime and techno.

SNØW and Ahadadream both deliver club ready instrumentals that draw on their love of UK Funky, GQOM, Kuduro and Afrobeats. Bryte is one of the most exciting voices coming out of Ghana, his track 'Ice Cream' set's the tone for the EP. Produced by regular partner-in-crime, Mina and previous collaborator Tarquin (both from London) - it really summarises the cross contamination of sounds which More Time is a hub for.

Bala Bala Boyz are a group of rappers from London of Congolese descent. 'Sieta' notches up the tempo on a 808 heavy power soca riddim from Trinidad via Bristol production duo Jus Now (SNØW, Keshav Singh).

Since R&S relaunched it's supported new UK artists from its London base. More Time Records and the wider global percussive club music scene are releasing some of the freshest dance music in London so we're excited to showcase this sound on Volume 1 of this new collaboration.

We are back in shape after a while, providing fresh wax for you all, this time in the hands of two proper experts on studio duties: label owner P.E.A.R.L. sharing this extended EP with Pole Group's and Warm Up records head, Oscar Mulero.

Tecture alias Paul Pankow is a Berlin based Producer and DJ.

On the production side he tries to reinterpret impressions from 90s-IDM, Old Detroit and Berlin Techno and forming sound textures combining both upfront and powerful music as well as ambient in assorted elements as an experimental approach on sound.

His approach on DJing is forming a tense and serried web of sound that does not leave any time to breathe rather than constantly floating into a deeper experience of music.

Monnom Black marks its 17th release with its first various artist compilation presented on triple vinyl. Keeping with the label's modus operandi, the compilation is packed with iconic, raw and uncompromising techno, featuring 13 artists new and old to the imprint! Essential Selection!

We are honored to release the debut album from Violet, the alias of Inês Borges Coutinho, Lisbon born and raised DJ, producer boss of Naive records, co-founder of Rádio Quântica, and mina resident. Violet began producing music in 2012 and has released music on One Eyed Jacks, Love on the Rocks, Paraíso and Naive. Inês uses her seemingly boundless energy to amplify other artists all the while progressing her own creative practice.

‘Bed of Roses’ contains 10 songs made as a sort of childhood-teenage memories diary, a return to things Inês liked then and also the difficult things she’s been through. The feeling behind the album is self forgiveness in an optimistic way but also in an adult way, aware of the bruises (thorns) but also of the invaluable love and life experiences (roses). The title comes from the Bon Jovi song that Inês loved as a 9-year old and doubles as an intent of positivity paired with the inescapable darkness of life. Inês says, “I wrote this music as a healing device that I hope can somehow help heal others too.” All songs have been mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios. The jacket features an original design by Eloise Leigh that incorporates themes of self-inspection and hope mixing a teen bedroom girly vintage scrapbook aesthetic with contemporary 3D mapping techniques. Each LP contains a postcard featuring a childhood photo of Inês with notes.

'Pillar' is the second release to come from London based duo, Abstract Man, uniting three original tracks plus one remix from pioneering French producer, Von Grall. Signifying the second stage of the pair's studio time, 'Pillar' delves further into a shared
love for rhythmic, textured techno and dynamic grooves.

Berlin based DJ/producer Alignment returns to Etruria Beat this May to deliver ?Interference?, accompanied
by two commanding and powerful remixes from Luca Agnelli and Madrid?s Regal.
With releases to date on the likes of Involve Records, Konstruktiv and Etruria Beat, with his last release on the Italian label coming in the form of his ?Gravity? EP in 2016, Berlin?s Alignment ranks amongst the shortlist of names to keep an eye on when it comes to emerging producers within the techno sphere. For his return to Etruria, the Italian steps up to reveal two high-octane cuts whilst Etruria founder Luca Agnelli and Involve boss turn in impressive interpretations of the lead track.
Opening the EP, title cut ?Interference? combines 90?s acid sounds with trance-tinged synths to reveal a production primed for the dancefloor, before handing over control to Luca Agnelli who introduces hypnotic and suspenseful builds and breaks to proceedings, whilst switching up the track?s lead lines to create a warping journey. Next up, Regal who raises the energy even further and reinforces the original?s acid patterns with his own trademark sonics before ?Turn Off? concludes the package as hypnotic synth melodies merge alongside powerful driving rhythms throughout.

Add to that a brand new artist to the label, Belgian dub techno maestro Andre Brehme and an epic new track from Edit Select himself and we have four tracks of the highest quality techno for your ears to enjoy.

Melbourne based producer Furious Frank has been making plenty of noise of late. He returns in 2019 with his very own imprint “Mind Dance”, of which will undoubtedly be home to much of his expanding portfolio of high quality, club ready tracks. His debut Mind Dance release ‘Infinity Pool’ unveils a diverse yet unified front. Touching on early 90s acid, electro and trance, the release is brought together by a common thread of crisp, classic analog drums and 303 acid lines. Frank expertly contrasts these driving rhythms with moody pads and spoken word samples calling us back to the 90s, creating a nostalgic sense of euphoria sure to capture the hearts and minds of any early morning dance floor. Limited to 300 copies.

Geophone returns with a four track various artists EP curated by the label boss Mike Parker. The A side begins with new artist Eastern Renaissance, who delivers a melodic and acidic dreamscape in classic form. Mike Parker continues this science fictional atmosphere with his contribution, 'Night of 21 Hours' with whirling analogue sequences that remind us of flying saucers and outer space. The B side moves in a harder direction with Echologist's buzzing and bleeping syncopations backed with heavy drum programming. The always surprising Stanislav Tolkachev concludes the EP with a track that pushes the boundaries, reflecting his unique interpretation of techno music.

Newworldaquarium adds to his small but perfectly formed discography two unreleased extras from his Dead Bears album, and describes them as "early 2000s minimalism trying to survive in today's maximized society." 'Mercury' is a ten minute epic that journeys to the stars. Cosmic melodies shimmer in expansive skies as rubber kicks speed up and slow down back on earth. Synths twinkling and change shape, grand pads wash over you and the whole thing is utterly beautiful and hypnotic. 'Levels Halo' is a vastly spacious cut with arcing pads reaching up to the heavens as super deep kick drums gently thud way down below. Part dub, part ambient, part soundtrack, it is a truly cathartic listening experience. These are two more devastatingly deep and emotive cuts from Newworldaquarium.

4th release on BLKMARKET MUSIC comes from Path Records label boss and New York legend Reade Truth entitled Violent Rose.

She delivers high octane techno sets inspired by her diverse cultural background and passion for self-expression through music.

This four-tracker is yet another pivotal career moment for this exciting Portuguese artist, whose summer has included shows at Beachland, Free Your Mind Festival, and Dance Valley, where Pig & Dan saw her play for the first time; they loved her sound and quickly a friendship emerged over an equal love for music, resulting in them signing her to their ELEVATE imprint.

‘Rebirth’ the EP is a masterclass in old-school-influenced acid-sharpened bangers, gritty yet melodic.
All four tracks mark the start of an exciting few months for Valente.

‘Unapologetic’ pulls you straight in, with a driving bass, piston-powered stabs and a scintillating top line, tied together with a soulful vocal loop. With ‘Under the Radar’, hi hats fizz through industrial clangs, building a contagious energy.
‘Background Story’ ramps up the intensity with a haunting top line and startling, scattered percussion, climbing to a peak before the pounding beat takes over. Last but not least, ‘Negotiation’ is the black sheep of this main-room-ready release. Skilfully informed with a bubbling riff and almost trance-inspired melody that juxtapose the darkness of the kick drum, this rounds off the EP on a high.

There is a way to reach into the pulse of everything. It comes when ideas
are stripped down to their bare essentials, blossoming then into massive monoliths that are designed with elegant simplicity. Such is the path taken on our next limited 7", led by Chronicle veterans Staffan Linzatti and new comer to the stable, Arnuad Le Texier. Entitled "Far Behind The Line", it embarks
with a sense of soaring weightless that only Arnaud can provide. "Radar"
is a statement of futurism, thrusting the listener forward and farther into the in nite. It's sonic qualities mimic radio towers, satellites, and frequencies transmitted from the far reaches of the unknown. "Destination" acts as the perfect counter, disrupting the psyche in all the right ways with dissonant wails and unearthly chimes. Together they come as a distinct package, presenting an impressionistic interpretation of what may come, or what already has.

Benedikt Frey makes an anticipated return to the ESP Institute. After leisurely toying with themes around this fourth release with the label, which follows his 2017 debut album 'Artificial', a dense nihilistic fog seems to have enveloped his creative process and undoubtedly informed his frame of mind. The approach here is perhaps more minimal than the artist’s previous endeavors — reducing music to skeletal loops, allowing their character to develop and fluctuate over the course of each piece — a confidence that exemplifies an artist hitting their stride, but in no way does he rely on the trope of “less is more”. Whereas a minimalist embellishes the importance of elements through their isolation and negative space, Benedikt fills every facet with granular measures of sound and sifts them, in a cyclical motion, through his spectral arrangements. The title 'Cells' speaks to the unadulterated path from which Frey cultivates complex gestures utilizing limited means — stretching singular organisms to their furthest limits, breaching their brink of stability and inciting cancerous mutations — proving time and again his mastery of tonal nuance and fearless embrace of distortion. Each of these four songs deliver a despondent poetry, predominantly abstract, but occasionally complimented by verbal commands from dystopian futures, such as the blanketing repetitive chants in 'Interlinked' that conjure images of labor, assembly lines and infrastructural erosion, or the intercom punctuations throughout 'Substance B' that refer to the “world’s future” which, when juxtaposed over such dark melodies and gritty drums, allude to science fiction, Film Noir and a post-apocalyptic existence. As the winter approaches, the melancholy grows very real, and we swoon.

Here comes the next chapter of Scandium with the signing of a new young artist called Camille Rodriguez. This guy is talented, to say the least. He touches every genres with no compromises. This way of making music gave Luminous Cave as a wonderful result.

To enhance this release, Maxime Dangles added a powerful spacial vision of the main track. Be also surprised by the cinematic and epic version of We Are Twice version. Goose bumps guaranteed ,-)

DJ Nobu returns to his own Bitta label, his personal playground for new musical projects with a focus on artists coming out of Japan. The label functions as a space for experimentation with the intention of instigating multiple styles by unexpected artists or pairing them with stimulating remixers. The unique chemistry created by these cross-genre connections results in an exciting catalogue carefully curated and directed by DJ Nobu himself. After recent outings on Rush Hour, Token and BleeD, the Japanese producer dives even deeper into a pure and adventurous techno journey with his most simplistic output to date. A DJ tool EP designed for the club, with four tracks of stripped down yet powerful dance floor workouts. All cuts have been tested and proven in Nobu's own DJ sets before now, so he decided to make them available for fellow DJs to play and experiment with.
