Clip releases his debut album Magnetic Reconnection on Seeking the Velvet in collaboration Red Bull Music Academy Spain.
This arduous and mature production consists of eight tracks that plunge us into a journey full of analog sounds, dark textures, drones and a futuristic techno. These ingredients are a faithful reflection of the two cities in which the album has been recorded: Berlin and Barcelona.
During its 38 minutes, Clip delivers a complete journey in which he consolidates a unique sound and way of composing. The album will be released on 12" vinyl and a digital format that will include two bonus tracks. In addition, and in order to create visual consistency, the covers of both releases -single presentation Gamma Ray and this album Magnetic Reconnection- have been commissioned to the designer and visual artist Viktor Autofocus, one half of the duo Realmente Bravo. This creative project has recently worked alongside Agorazein (led by rapper C.Tangana).
This new EP released under Cora Novoa's project SKTVT showcases Clip's new haunting sound landscapes, as the RBMA ex-alumni class 2011 (and the second Spanish artist chosen to participate in its international edition) moves forward from the influence of UK house that underlid his previous releases while adding a superbly distant, darker tone that evokes an analog techno futurism.

A joint release between Natural Sciences and FTP, Texas Terrotech volume 1 is a combination of hyper-frentic futurism with the gritty global sound of the streets, wherever it comes from. It's the pop music on the radio, combining that with innately adaptable, yet eminently absorbable form which evolved in these different little things, all compatible , yet closely related. When they are decoded from the genome of our global musical collective, their inter-relatedness becomes even more clear, and a new perspective can be gained.
The internet made everything smaller. It turned the territory into the map, destroying the physical borders between geography and genres, reducing it into digital code, breaking it into bite-sized bits. This is the sound of the phuture digesting the people.
This is the sound of the global underground

Venezuela born, Barcelona based Cardopusher's career goes back over 12 years- the proverbial 10,000 hours to master a skill long fulfilled. His forthcoming LP "New Cult Fear" on Boysnoize Records proves it through disciplined, focused craftsmanship. It's the type of no-frills production that deceives the amateur listener with it's simplicity, while the seasoned listener knows that the simpler the elements, the harder it is to make a track that moves the dancefloor. Moving dancefloors it does, although there's few smiles to be had. This is music for dark rooms, for Nitzer Ebb's famous pairing of "muscle and hate." This is being electrocuted by a broken TB-303- only you find the feeling erotic, your exclamations recorded on a haunted reel-to-reel. And it's never sounded so good.

Released on Slater’s iconic ‘Freek Funk’ album on NovaMute - one of the most seminal techno albums of the 90s - ‘Love’ finally gets the remix treatment it deserves more than two decades after its initial release.
Leading the charge, Burial makes one of his rare appearances on remix duties and doesn’t disappoint with an atmospheric and mesmerising reimagining with an aesthetic reminiscent of ‘Untrue’. Lucy then reels out a deep-diving techno roller with precision kicks and tantalising melodies. Luke Slater then adopts his The 7th Plain moniker for a collage of sound extending past the 15-minute mark, before upping the energy with a moody reverberating number as Planetary Assault Systems.
Marcel Dettmann his ‘City remix' features a cacophony of metallic rhythm, ebbing pads and plenty of swing whilst mantra-like vocals operate throughout. Cascading drums and lively trumpets is next in Silent Servant’s upbeat and infectious take.

In 1999 John Digweed and Nick Muir launched their now legendary label with the 12' vinyl release of 'Heaven Scent', giving it the iconic catalogue number BED1.
Continuing the series of special releases to celebrate the Bedrock label's 20-year anniversary in 2019, this landmark classic has now received heavyweight reworks by Marc Romboy and Eagles & Butterflies.
' Heaven Scent was a game changer. It really was one of the most essential dance tunes.' - Marc Romboy
Those familiar with Mönchengladbach master DJ/Producer Marc Romboy's exceptional creative output and deep relationship with the Bedrock imprint will know what to expect.
A continual advocate for their forward-thinking vision, Marc delivers an utterly dynamic, high-flying 10 minutes of pulsating perfection. His remix soars, dips and dives in a deliciously delirious joyous homage to the original's epic attitude.
Hot on the heels of releasing his stunning collaborative project with John Digweed & Nick Muir ('Crazy Diamond'/'Divenire' BEDDIGI118), UK-born, LA-based Producer/DJ, Chris Barratt (aka Eagles & Butterflies) returns to the label with his own decidedly individualistic interpretation of 'Heaven Scent'.
Marrying an insistently metronomic groove with an intense, mind-bending, looped and layer structure, he takes the track on an entirely different journey before stripping everything back and dropping down and launching into those hallowed unforgettable chords, in a classic 'raise your hands if you understand' moment, all timed to complete perfection.

Cassegrain are in the house. With this four tracker, they make techno with a signature that sets them apart from the rest and we are really glad to have them on board.
'Addax' opens fire with a textured fast groove, with delayed filtered hits over a relentless continuous rhythm. Intensity grows until the drums disappear shortly to come back in full force in the closing minutes. A dance-floor destroyer for peak time moments.
'Markhor' starts with processed beats that are soon followed by analogue percussive hits creating an hypnotic mood. More layers of synths are added to the main groove electrifying the feeling and making an alien exercise of modern techno.
'Nubian Ibex' keeps the pace fast and focused on the floor. A similar recipe here, continuous grooves, synthesized bleeps and an intelligent arrangement. Noises and abstract textures share lines with sharp hi-hats and percussion all with a characteristic sound, not from a standard sound palette.
'Arabian Oryx' closes the EP, slowing down things slightly, approaching liquid dub soundscapes but with the tension that Cassegrain always manage to bring to their productions.

Control Freak Recordings launches with ’Translucence’, the debut EP from London-based DJ and Producer Keplrr. With influences spanning UK techno, breaks and bass, it's already received support from DJs including Ben UFO, Or:la and Minor Science.
Stripped back with a careful attention to detail, Transluence’s airy synths have drawn comparison with early releases on Warp Records. A diverse selection of tracks ranging from floor filling, breakbeat-driven tools to spacey cuts perfect for the earliest of hours.

From his debut on Tresor in 2012 with the Super Strength EP, all the way through to his Vibrations long player in 2016, Paris based artist Marcelus has continuously provided some of the most intricate productions to come out on Tresor Records in recent years.
Marcelus instills unpredictable rhythms as the very eseence of his music. These di erent layered time signatures move together in spiraling forms designed in the french enchanter's mind.
The Magnet EP o ers one long trip in four chapters. The title track, 'Magnet', ushers in the ritual and strikes with its Creole flavors, drawing careful listeners back to sound palettes and rhythms of some decisive UR references.
From there on, the mind-bending begins. 'Parenthesis' is the second slow step in this brooding ceremony. 'Say It Again' picks up the pace, driving the listener further down into the tunnel. The beads of 'Descent' finally brings the mind back to the surface of reality.

Back with that low-end pressure, PAWSA delivers another tech house slammer with this single sided, 180g funked-up riot on his own PAWZ imprint. A humongous, hypnotic bassline, shuffling percussive hits and a thundering kick lay the foundations for that renowned and charismatic vocal to take centre stage on ‘Funky Brother’.
Another sure-fire winning roller destined to tear up dancefloors across the circuit, further validating PAWSA’s meteoric rise to the top.

"For our fifth eel record, we round up some of modern techno's most distinct-sounding producers. Hector Oaks' "Just A Chengdu Dog" is a deadly, vocal-laced acid weapon that briefly comes up for air, before we're submerged into the murky atmosphere and glorious modulating riff of Mary Velo's "Submission". Sedvs & Peel's rumbling "Side Life" reconfigures '90s Birmingham techno to masterly effect, while the deep chords and blissful keys on Christopher Joseph's vox-led "Indifferent World" round off the ep in majestic fashion. Four absolute winners here, do not sleep!"

The third release in the Anopolis trilogy coincides with the founding of Anopolis Records.
Like the previous two EPs, DIMADOU takes reference points from the sound of the 90s and avoids getting bogged down with track titles. The first track, A19 is noticeably influenced by the Sheffield scene and Rising High records. The EP continues with the heavy bass line and the TR-707 drums of A18, a strong nod to the Chicago sound. On the B side, drum machines dominate in A21 and A20 with their piercing sound hinting towards the style of Ron Hardy. Rounding off the EP is the atmospheric A17 and its warm, hazy pads.
This final part of the trilogy is simultaneously the beginning for further releases through the project s new imprint Anopolis Records.
Karen Gwyer returns to Don't Be Afraid with her first new work since 2017's Rembo LP, which gained critical acclaim for its powerful body music and melancholic melody led pieces. Man On Mountain EP is a further evolvement of the duality and nuances in moods and emotions that make Gwyer's music so impactful. Resetting, rebuilding and subverting atmospheres and rhythms is a constant in her music and Gwyer builds on that more in this latest instalment.
The low swung weight of opener Faces On Ankles' bassline is full of suspense, alternating between rolling fluidity and unpredictable kick patterns, while a dubby melody dances alongside glossy, introspective arpeggios. The EP then weaves suddenly into cosmic drone that snarls with tension and desolation on Ian On Fire. You can sense contrasts between these two musical spaces – luscious, bouncing techno that nods directly to Gwyer's Midwest upbringing (Faces on Ankles, Cherries On Shoulders) and darker drone experiments where light peeks through the composition that adds balance to the mood, (Ian On Fire, Ribbon on Neck). Gwyer's music takes a different path with each record while holding onto elements of previous incarnations of her sound and Man On Mountain adds new dimensions to the bold and open minded spirit she embodies.

Originally released back in 2010 as part of an Agoria mix compilation sampler Temperature's Rising has become a cult hit with vinyl copies now impossible to find for any price as the chance of a repress was held back by record company politics. Now, finally, it returns, remastered for 2016 and enjoying the clear cut and full side of vinyl it undoubtedly deserves.
On the B-side is the Temperate Dub, recorded at the same time as the lead mix, but which has remained unreleased until now. It takes a deep classic even deeper dubbing out syllables of the vocal over a reverberated version of the now familiar half-time rhythm of the original mix.

With the Split EP, the fourth release of their own label Rapid Eye Movement, Memorial Home and VII Circle head the way with two original cuts both and sign another stunning dark and hypnotic techno odyssey with a strong emotional pattern.
The opening track 'Metaphysical Functions', starting with a slow building atmospheric overture, encompasses much of what the VII Circle's sophisticated sound is about. A combination of compelling and dark pulsing kick drums with deep and melodic synth lines and dramatic ethereal breakdowns.
'Dogma' is stamped by a strait cavernous and rugged beat, powerful and catchy basses as well as propelled by uplifting and immersive melodic motifs that have a fierce cosmic appeal.
Following the path, Memorial Home delivers with 'Second Floor' an intense ambient-driven piece, harnessing haunting and misty cinematic textures with a tension-building repetitive bassline which provides a rising magnetic and powerful effect.
Closing the journey or rather keeping the flame high and firm till the deep end, 'Ampere' evinces a more pin-sharp and frantic percussive techno approach overlaid with highly suggestive atmospheric swirling synth effects.
Four captivating weapons which display an aesthetic quest focused and driven both by dancefloor-orientated climax and underground-rooted emotive escapism.
R&S welcomes Belgium’s Peter Adriaenssens AKA 6SISS, for a four track EP of dark rhythmic techno.
A returning New Beat veteran who started releasing 6SISS material in 2013, Adriaenssens's music combines driving rhythms with ominous, desiccated field recordings and withered pads that call to mine the Ben Frost's militant soundscapes.
The foggy atmospherics that pervade make sense when you learn that he often moonlights as a member of a post metal/drone band, creating eldritch soundscapes and drones.
Adriaenssens is a self confessed 'family man' which has had a strong impact on his music: "The way I cook food is also the way I make my music - with the ingredients available in the fridge and the sounds available on my laptop." he explains. "I build layers of sounds and textures, with or without a beat. Don’t search for melodies in my tracks, see them as haunted trips. I’m always inspired by artists who do something different, or sound original like Tim Hecker, Johan Johansson, Mika Vainio.
Over the four tracks of the Prisma release, Adriaenssen's bruising off kilter rhythms stagger and lurch in mesmerising ways that undercut the 4:4 hegemony and are sure to confuse and delight dancefloors in equal measure.

Jonny Rock is somewhat of a sorcerer, an omnipresent eye that gathers secret ingredients from far and wide—old school House oddities, hypnotic melodies of the Orient, the furthest reaches of Disco, the easy pace of Turkish psychedelic funk—fusing it all into his own shrouded code, a string of immaterial messages, both subliminal and lucid, that highlight his eccentric sense of storytelling and nuance. He imbues a sense of familiarity in his music, implying history that might not be studied but still feels learned, a quality inherent to productions born from a vast catalog of influence (and the inseparable sample material). Jonny conjures euphoric acid flashbacks, herds of crowds through Istanbul alleys, the misty morning residue from raves of yore, orchestral winds blown across the Aegean riviera, and he manages to concentrate their essence into singular details such as a snare drum. Both sides of his eternally-awaited ESP debut lean toward his dark arts—'Tye Die Techno' drives a relentless hard-edged drum kit that could throw an otherwise self-respecting Goth into a heated breakdance battle, while the title track and theme, 'Ode To A Happening On Earth,' plays with the imagery of ritual, fantasy and role-playing—but throughout this malevolent stew, there is a sustained hint of the artist's playful nature. No matter how murky the trip becomes, Jonny is always there, a light at the end of the tunnel, with a big hug to reassure that everyone will be OK. He is one clever bastard—if you know, you know.
Brothers Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli aka Mathame have quickly garnered attention through their dusky, atmospheric Techno releases on illustrious underground labels such as Anagram, ARTS and Afterlife Records utilising a wide range of hardware (from cheap analogue synths to obscure drum machines) as well as their experience as visual artists to create their free-flowing, signature sound.

Kerri Chandler's mighty Kaoz Theory welcomes an appropriately colossal figure from the dance world for its next EP, with Canadian artist Art Department aka Jonny White serving up four fantastic new tracks.
Now the lone force behind the world-famous Art Department project, White also heads up the decade strong No.19 Music as well as more recent label additions Social Experiment & Sunday Money. On tour, he can be found at the world's leading clubs and festivals laying down emotive, forward thinking sets of underground house and techno that continue to evolve and inspire. His CV doesn't stop there, with a passionate commitment to wildlife conservation leading to the formation of Music Against Animal Cruelty (MAAC), a non-profit organization which has seen White rally support from the music industry to make a real difference to a vital cause. Add to this his recent partnership in leading label and distribution company Subwax Bcn and it's clear that White is a man on a mission.
As ever with Art Department, these latest tracks show another subtle evolution of sound, kicking off with the superb 'Industry.' This is a roller coaster ride through raw organic grooves with swirling pads and subtle vocal cries all layering up the intensity and guaranteeing a huge reaction. The equally impactful 'Exit to Eden' takes on a more swinging house vibe, with brilliantly loose drums shuffling along with a New York feel. Again, soulful vocal samples add steaminess to the groove, delivering a cut that is destined to lift the mood wherever it's dropped.
The kicking 'Boa' picks up the pace once more with smart drum programming that gets you on your toes. It's upright and driving, with raw hits and huge kicks powering you along as a timeless and nimble bassline bounces about down low. Closing things down in style, the excellent 'Madbar' is another high impact house cut with edgy chord stabs and bristling drums. The whole thing brims with house charm and is a perfect closing opus to the accomplished package.
These latest four offerings from Art Department mark another high for Kerri Chandler's always on-point Kaoz Theory.
Early DJ Support:
Seth Troxler, Adam Beyer, Laurent Garnier, Alan Fitzpatrick, Terry Francis, Sascha Dive, DJ Steaw, Archie Hamilton, Ilario Alicante, Len Faki

The tempo picks up with Exuberant Gambit, a jungle-tekkno hybrid that flexes a rugged, mutant "Think" break under porous beats and an eerie aerobic melody. Mae Geri delivers the final forward thrust with abbrasive percussion underlining a paranoid sequence reminiscent of '90s era NYC warehouse material. Packed with olympic energy, Sportiv 005 is a high-intensity, dance floor-optimised escapade.
As the title suggests, there are many ways to jack and this EP makes no pretense about its intentions.
DMX Krew treat us to a wild concoction of tracks for the fourth instalment of the now firing on all cylinders, Super Rhythm Trax label. The music here veers between grimy basement Acid trax, UK Bleep inspired future warehouse anthems and even an ultra cheeky ragga style rendition of Lil Louis' classic "Original Video Clash". (180 gr, clear vinyl, incl DL card) Having already unleashed a considerable amount of collaborative magic with the "Planetary Funk: 22 Light Years" series of remix EPs, Luke Slater has now upped the ante with six full sides' worth of material, all of them injecting the spirit of classic P.A.S. into new sonic organisms. Behind the controls: Marcel Fengler, Psyk, Lucy, Slam, Octave One, Function and KSP.
Having already unleashed a considerable amount of collaborative magic with the "Planetary Funk: 22 Light Years" series of remix EPs, Luke Slater has now upped the ante with six full sides' worth of material, all of them injecting the spirit of classic P.A.S. into new sonic organisms. Using motifs from past P.A.S. successes, Luke Slater and his cohorts join here to make something radical and revitalizing: too cohesive for a "compilation album" and with too much autonomy granted to the guest remixers to be a simple "tribute," this new LP is the boldest statement in the series yet.
Three of the tracks in the program are intense and captivating live re-workings from Slater himself, hurtling from the speakers with an apparent minimum of post-production polish and an optimal level of buzzing energy. The first of these, his new "Surface Noise" treatment, sends listeners wading through a dark pool of restlessly throbbing sound with a single buzz-tone as a beacon, adding new percussive fuel to keep the journey going just when it seems all will fade into enveloping darkness. "Tap Dance" brings a brighter sound set to the mix, but without forsaking the trademark steamrolling bass and the contrasting effect of gravity-resistant ephemeral sound clouds. The last reworking, "Whistle Viper," caps off this 'set-within-a-set' in similar fashion.
While this on its own would make for a compelling listen, the album is also laden with contributions from an international assembly of electronic soul controllers (to wit: Marcel Fengler, Psyk, Lucy, Slam, Octave One, Function and KSP). Fengler kicks off the proceedings with an ecstatic and lustrous rework of "Twelve," a melodic sunrise joining a synth pad massage to a locked-in and systematic rhythm. Psyk's own interpretation of the same track preserves the same insistence but applies it to a completely different time and place, driving the listener through a wilderness of coded signals and an ambiguous repetition of the title that sounds like it could be as much a warning as an indicator of progress.
KSP's version of "Function 6" gradually builds a cyborg leitmotif from an overdriven martial beat and epileptic machine breakdowns - a fascinating audio case study of perfect discipline disintegrating into something rather unexpected. Sequencing this with Octave One's "Booster" rework is an ideal choice, as the squared-away EBM / electro-funk sequences and flanged hi-hats seem to refer to a different phase in the life cycle of the same machine. Function's "Diesel Drudge," on the other hand, moves from the machine world into a totally oneiric world typified by backwards-masked / time-traveling voices and a thick strobe-lit haze. Taking a cue from this atmosphere is Lucy's re-envisioning of "Surface Noise", in which he doubles down on the original's feel of liquefied darkness to create a piece of endlessly vibrating sonic mesmerism, a no-nonsense tantric exercise in shedding preconceptions and inhibitions.
Rounding out the collection is Steve Bicknell's "Raid" version - a breathing mosaic of rhythmic pulses and clattering objects - and Slam's characteristically intense modification of "Temporary Suspension," whose low-end sequences continually bubble and seethe yet never completely boil over

Fresh of the 'Balancing Point' LP, Skudge levitates into 2017 with tracks from a well-known place... Infectious groove and stabs reflects our most fond warehouse memories. For starters, 'Circles' reminds us of the first three releases, but in a updated shape - the beats are as tight as ever, with the accompanying melodies fitting right into their place. The A-side track has that special Skudge vibe that managed to establish them as a force to reckon with. As proven with the LP from last year, things are sounding and looking as exciting as ever!
In stark contrast to the straight to the floor A-side, 'Tundra' on the flip resembles the calmer and on the edge of careful sound that Skudge has been running in parallel of their club oriented material. Sure, this one works well in that environment too, but it's more minded approach might require some extra attention on the floor - however, this first EP of the new year facilitates what was promised with the LP: this is exciting times for Skudge.

Mistress Recordings welcomes Anthony Rother, one of electronic music’s most prolific producers, who will release two records on DVS1’s sub-label later this month. For more than 25 years, the legendary producer from Offenbach, Germany aggregated a vast musical canon that reflects his unique career as a sound researcher exploring the aesthetics far beyond the boundaries of electro, techno and pop music.
While "Mistress 12" features completely new electro techno endeavors including "Technic Electric" from DVS1's Fabric 96 mix, the second 12-inch is a re-release of Rother’s Datapunk classic "Back Home" that comes with new vocal-centered interpretations, a never-ending acapella loop and two club edits by DVS1.

E-Missions welcomes back Rush Plus with three forward thinking techno cuts and a remix from Enemy Records boss Dustin Zahn.
Comprised of Jackson Ryland and Jus Nowhere, Rush Plus are known for helming their Rush Plus Records and Metro Xpress imprints when not appearing on Ambivalent’s Valence and P.Leone and Caiazzo’s E-Missions, with the latter releasing their critically acclaimed ‘The Sweat’. Their refreshing take on techno has resulted in continual support from all corners of the scene including top tier names like Ben UFO, DVS1, Daniel Avery, and many more.
Opening at full pelt, ‘Staring At The Sun’ pertains to the duo’s ability to master rhythm, fusing manic syncopated patterns with clashing keys and ringing bells until Dustin Zahn’s rework takes a lighter approach with cosmic synths and dusty brushes. ‘Waverunner' is next, blending acid lines with an ambient soundscape reminiscent to a retro video game, making way for the galloping ‘Sh,Boom’ with its hypnotic vocals, rumbling low end and sonic zaps to conclude matters.

Sweat Equity is thrilled to present its first entry into the world of wax with XP, a powerful drop from Philadelphia’s DJ Delish. Spanning six tracks, the record is a striking introduction to a singular talent.
DJ Delish lives at the epicenter of East Coast club culture, having cut her teeth on the ballroom circuit as both a DJ and performer. Over the past few years, she’s also unleashed a string of self-released EPs and albums on her SoundCloud, as well as a split single with Sweat Equity’s Macy Rodman. XP marks her first outing on vinyl, and she pulls no punches.
The record is a rich landscape, flawlessly weaving between ballroom, hip-hop, ballads and house. Her command of multiple musical forms speaks to her time both in the booth and on the dancefloor. The vital energy of each track is matched only by the wit and incisiveness of her lyrics, with songs about everything from shady promoters to sexual intrigue. Her wealth of experience and abundant narrative ingenuity bring personal stories and intricate histories to life.

Frenchman Darlyn Vlys returns with another EP on Monika Kruses label Terminal M, raving about 'Soho Nights' during a 'Weekend In Rome'. New York's shootingstar DJ Boris adds his trademark sounds on his remix, exactely why we love his releases on Sci+Tec and Tronic so much. Also UK duo WHYT NOYZ did their homewurk the way we love it and deliver a great new interpretation of 'Soho Nights'.

Following a superb remix of Hakimonu's 'Insular Realms' in 2015, Ed Davenport's Inland alias returns to Deep'a & Biri's Black Crow Recordings with a brand new EP for the label's tenth release. Having played a key role in the relaunch of Function's Infrastructure New York imprint, in addition to operating his own widley admired Counterchange label, Davenport's techno project has brought the Englishman to wider recognition as one of the genre's most talented producers. The new EP's three original tracks finds Inland exploring all facets of his diverse sound: A1, 'Metatlantic' is driving, acid-laced techno, 'Cosinaxis', employs electro beat patterns and IDM aesthetics, B-side opener, 'Lagoon9', is a melodic Detroit-indebted big room weapon. Closing out the EP is a remix of from 3KZ aka Italian duo Z.I.P.P.O & Kaelan, the latter of whom provided one of Black Crow's standout releases so far under his 2030 alias with last year's Timeworm EP. Their remix of 'Cosinaxis' follows hot on the heels of their debut album 'Parallel Reflections', released earlier this year on Z.I.P.P.O.'s Fides imprint.
Following Merv's EP, Taped Artifact now presents a new outing by the label co-founder Kevin Arnemann. With three original cuts, showcasing the labels characteristic dub-influenced techno sound, the EP is complemented with two remixes by Jonas Kopp. Arnemann's 'Trash Polka EP' kicks off with saturated 808-grooves, driven by steady dub-chords and hard hitting claps. Next, the original track sees a special dub influenced treatment by Jonas Kopp. The in Spain residing Argentinian delivers a stripped down, yet high energized techno version. As a digital exclusive, Kopp prepares a second interpretation, following the tradition of a classic rooted dub sound. On the flipside, 'Revertigo' sees Arnemann utilise a rumbling break beat, topped with icy rides, blissful dub chords and cinematic pads, taking you on an energetic trip. 'Ideology' is bringing the EP to a closing. With heavily processed chords and hard hitting drums, Kevin Arnemann creates a suspense that leave you wanting for more. Vital Sales Points: - 3rd solo EP by Kevin Arnemann on Taped Artifact - Two remixes by Jonas Kopp - EP comes with download code for full EP + digital exclusive bonus remix by Jonas Kopp
Ophir Kutiel AKA Kutiman is a multi-instrumentalist from Tel Aviv, a “psychedelic space funk architect” to quote Straight No Chaser. When we were approached by his label Siyal about recruiting ZamZam/Khaliphonic artists for a remix project, we loved the idea right away - dub without borders or boundaries is our passion, and getting our hands on Kutiman’s freeform analog explorations felt like an amazing opportunity to push that passion further. All four remixes revel in the freedom of the original tunes, and each, while anchored in dubwise techniques, are totally unhindered by tempo or other genre constraints.
Alter Echo & E3 open with a remix of “Unknown,” the set’s only 140 tune, full up with a bubbling cauldron of bassline and flutes, esoteric vinyl archaeology, spring reverb shocks, and swung percussion.
J:Kenzo, known for 140 and 160 bpm sound system bangers, here takes the chance to stay deep - but in a chill mode - unfurling a beautiful journey of syncopated drum work and slapping percussion framing the lush, meandering melodies of the original “Behind The Noise."
Gulls’ rework of “Mineral” rocks with an offbeat feel, technically in four, but swaying like it’s in three. Plucked guitar figures recall the African roots of contemporary bass music, and tape hiss buffets the listener back and forth through a sonic hall of portals and passages.
Perhaps the most surprising of all four four versions is Headland’s closing “Lucid Dream” remix, which sets course for dub techno country and never looks back. Combining the best of the producer’s masterful sound design and sense of build-and-drop dynamics with the idiom’s 4/4 pulse and focus on immersive space, Headland closes a set as inspired as the album it was based on.
The two Italian brothers Fabrizio and Matteo Floris aka Mr. Bizz are rocking big time these days with releases on Cocoon, Sci+Tec, Break New Soil, Suara, Bitten, KD Music.... so Monika Kruse is happy they kept their best tracks for her label Terminal M.
This is floorshaking peaktime techno at its best and we are curious which are your favorite tracks from this EP.

Terence Fixmer reached worldwide recognition with the release of his debut album Muscle Machine on DJ Hell's seminal International Deejay Gigolos imprint in 1999. The album opened a whole new genre by combining Electro, Industrial, EBM and Techno into a more dance floor-focused EBM style, simply called 'Techno Body Music'. The French producer and live act has consistently explored and redefined the boundaries of modern Techno -and he is not slowing down. Dance Of The Comets is the second release on the newly relaunched NovaMutelabel. NovaMuteis the seminal techno label that has been home to Plastikman, Speedy J, Juan Atkins, Luke Slater, Joey Beltramand more. NovaMute, born again, recently released Cognitive Resonance by Nicolas Bougaïeffand will release the forthcoming EP by Charlotte De Witte. Terence Fixmer'ssound deftly avoids repetition by developing soundscapes which maintain musical depth and integrity. He above all preserves an original style, an increasingly experimental, simultaneously ruthless and instantly recognizable aesthetic.
This is Terminal M's second edition of the EP series 'Cookies' to support up and coming talents from all over the world and showcase the skills the next producer generation.
This release features the hottest new Italian artists Ruben Mandolini (Snatch! Records), Paride Saraceni (Agile/KD Music) and Riccardo Sabatini plus George Vala from New York and Collective Machine (KD Music) from Budapest . All tracks handselected and roadtested by Monika Kruse since months with big success. We are very confident that these tracks will make you discover great new names and convince you of their bright future.

Sonic Groove Records is excited to announce a new artist addition to the label roster, Crystal Geometry hailing from Grenoble, France. Recording under different aliases in the French Hardcore/techno scene for over the past 20 years, producer Maxime Fabre is now honing his skills on creating a powerful hybrid of EBM/Industrial/Techno under his Crystal Geometry guise. His debut EP for Sonic Groove titled 'Red Faith Militia' is a ferocious 4 song release conceptually centered on themes related to the former Eastern Bloc and the ruling Communist government. Created with analog modular systems all four songs are chock full of intricately woven patterns of syncopated bassline sequences, dark string pads and overtones, spoken and shouted vocal phrases layered on top of pounding industrial rhythms. This is the real deal EBM, that reminisces with the first wave of Belgian & German EBM but is squarely placed in the here and now with very contemporary sound design & production techniques. The cre`me de la cre`me in Future EBM is here!

Minimalist, dark and heavy-techno from the L.I.E.S. Jealous God, Semantica affiliate and techno butcher Domenico Crisci. designed to decimate. The Fact That Movement Is Equivalent To Existence And Energy Is A Stringent
Factor To Giordano As Well As An Essential Support To Lean On For This New
Release. Although, The Italian Producer Limits His Inspiration To The
Disproportionate Strength Exercised By A Core To Materialize Relentlessly The
Continous Rotatory Displacement Of A Body. Nothing Is More Penetrating And
Robust Than The Magnitude Displayed By The Most Deeper Part Of An Incessant
Circular Flow.
´axis Of Rotation´ Hoards All That Dymanism That Is Distributed From Only A
Physical Point. Giordano Sets His Principal Piece In A State Of Incessant
Excitement With A Development That Pulls Off Full Of Vigour And Evolves
Methodically To Implode Towards Its Progressive Extintion. Of This Original Track Is
Important To Mention An Uninterrupted Cadenced Line That Serves Low
Frequencies, Carrying All The Weight Of The Piece With Delicates Modulations. But
As A Secondary Plane, And Not Less Important Than The Rest, We Have To Highlight
A Great Work Of Composition With Treble Armonic Motifs, On The Percussive
Elements As Well As The Atmospheres.
Concerns Music Publishes ´axis Of Rotation´ In A Twelve Inch Format Containing
This Giordano Track And Three Big Exegesis. The First One Is Elaborated By Kastil
With A More Accurate Version Of The Original Track But With More Resounding Style,
Thus Achieving More Intensity For The Bass Delimited Cycles. In Charge Of The
Second Remix Track Is Kalter Ende Who Adopts A More Lysergic Character With A
Hotchpotch Of Piercings Pads That Fluctuate As A Permanent Cycle. And Finally
Mike Parker Adapts His Interpretation To His Usual Swaying Style With A Fix Line Of
Immutable Fluctuation.
In Addition To Be Published On Vinyl, ´axis Of Rotation´ Will Also Be Available In
Digital, And For That Purpose Giordano Releases The Reference With Two More
Tracks That Will Only Be Available In This Format, ´drift´and ´storm´. With The First
One He Mantains The Same Dynamic Attitude Used In ´axis Of Rotation´, In
Contrast Storm Starts With A Syncopated Cadence And Its Essence Lies On The
Melodic Execution.

Long time innovator Mathias Kaden debuts on Rekids with two rolling cuts with remixes by leading Japanese artist Hiroshi Watanabe and Delsin Records regular Vril.
With two decades of experience, Mathias Kaden is without a doubt one of house music’s most consistent artists. Known for his versatile approach to music making, Kaden has released on labels like Ovum and Pets, not to mention Mule Musiq and Ornaments under his Japanese inspired side project Mathimidori. Not only that, Kaden has proven his adaptability with remixes of many top tier artists like DJ Koze, Wareika and Jesse Rose. He now joins Rekids to further establish his unwavering reputation.
‘Liberate Drums’ is already highly sought after having generated a lot of hype on a Honey Dijon podcast earlier this year and rightly so - Kaden layers claps with a looped leading groove and warped vocals. Vril then distorts the original, bringing filtered effects and crunchy percussion, while Hiroshi Watanabe’s musical rendition transforms the track with epic strings that work amongst elongated vocals giving the track a mystical quality. Finishing on a darker note, ‘Helicopter’ utilises warping waves which oscillate atop a bed of hammering percussion, infused with a groove that is destined to get you moving.

Wilted Woman is a producer whose left-field approach to electronic music emerges from an experimentally minded and refreshingly unapologetic attitude, forged on the punk and DIY scenes of the East Coast of the United States, and more recently, Berlin. Across her debut release for Phantasy, she contributes two unpredictable and outlandish cuts of hyper-modern club culture, complimented by a remix from fellow outsider alchemist, Laurel Halo.
‘Lon Lon Night Vision’ is a creeping, industrial interpretation of acid sounds, peeling away layers of tension to reveal a melody straight from the cold heart of a John Carpenter soundtrack, resolving in uniquely dystopian funk.
‘No Stinger’ immediately unleashes a burrowing, cybernetic ear-worm of a hook, biochemically blossoming into a sublime, undulating landscape of contemporary trance, rich in ideas and sonic euphoria.
Finally, Laurel Halo turns the screws on the original mix of Lon Lon Night Vision, extracting an almost impossibly taut slice of techno, building raw tension towards a blistering rush of electro psychedelia.

Swedish DJ Adeline lands on Crosstown Rebels with You*re Sick, a diverse four track release that features a stunning remix from Rex Club regular D’Julz.
The EP opens with the title track You*re Sick. Pronounced kicks merge with subtle pads, as an enchanting vocal sample whispers along. Bubble-like pops are brought in alongside intermittent hi-hats, creating a real dance-floor ready record. The D’Julz dub comes next. Staying true to the original, the addition of an electro-like breakdown builds energy, before that addictively-good kick is brought back in. Dust To Bone is a fast-paced minimal thumper, that takes no prisoners as it moves along with a wholesome bassline and softly driving percussion, before Rite De Passage rounds off the EP with powerful pads and warm keys.
Brought up in the rolling Swedish countryside, Adeline is a DJ, producer and vocalist whose talents reach far further than the DJ booth. Having founded electronic music duo Housewives with La Fleur in 2006, Adeline has gone on to release standout productions on the likes of Culprit and Kindisch Records. D’Julz is an artist whose presence in the scene has been felt for decades. For twenty two years, the French native has been running the now legendary “Bass Culture” night at Rex Club, and has hosted some of the scenes most respected DJs in recent times, including Seth Troxler, Sonja Moonear and Nicolas Lutz.

* Mysterious cult figure, Leonel Castillo is the best-kept secret the Argentine electronic music scene has brought forward so far. An icon and at the same time virtually unknown, Leonel is one of the most prominent Latin American talents. A stylistic chameleon and an ultra talented jack of all trades, he is hard to pinpoint, and even harder to categorize. Surfacing wherever it takes the vanguard talent, he's been releasing music as Leonel Castillo and under various monikers - Arnold Slab, Boeing or Unknown Artista are some of his aliases - on labels as diverse as the legendary Estatus Discos, or Telegraph, Ilian Tape, Airdrop, Greener, Sushitech and of course on his own imprint, Groovear.
* Constantly reinventing himself, Leonel Castillo manages to present his musical talent in an even more refined context every time one of his sought-after releases comes out, it ´s impossible to predict his next steps. From remixing rock and pop giants such as Miranda! and the Babasonicos, to getting commissioned to remix Brandt Brauer Frick on !K7 Records and JT Donaldson on Classic, touring the States, to djing at underground club nights in his local 'barrio' while finishing off his new releases, the Argentine artist has neither limits nor criteria which makes him so uttermost interesting and universal. Ranging from deep dub sounds to futuristic funk reminiscent of the earliest days, his music radiates acid and old school house of the boogiesque kind, paired with rock-bottom grooves which resonate the ancient spirit of early day techno while remaining absolutely timeless.
* Called into existence in 2005 by Leonel Castillo, Groovear was conceived as an outlet for his countless monikers and projects. Groovear was initally designed as a netlabel in order to share the immense amounts of music produced by Leonel. The idea of endless sharing and downloading is something intrinsically connected to Argentinean history. No traditional record labels were able to operate after the introduction of the compact disc in the '80s. Leonel Castillo put out a few releases between '05 and '07 under his different monikers - Boeing, Dubjack or Unknown Artista. 5 years later, the label has finally prepared its vinyl moment, presenting all aspects and dimensions of Castillo's ideas.
The first vinyl editions of his own Groovear label will cut those facts into deep wax - starting with "1974" and "Corriendo Al Cometa", two original unreleased numbers, on which Leonel develops his deep, hypnotic, techier and sometimes dubby sound.

After several acclaimed releases on Astropolis, Stripped Muzic and Bedrock records in a short space of time, Caduceus Records enlist the French producer for the next 12" slab of techno on the label.
Benjamin Leclercq (Madben) grew up in Northern France, not far from the Belgian border, discovering electronic music at the end of 90s and delved into the Belgian club scene where underground sounds were already being spun, leading to his first foray into djing when he moved to Lille, back in 2000. It wasn't until he arrived in Orleans that he began composing electronic music in 2007.
Quickly picked up by the press, he was crowned a 'Rising Talent' by Trax Magazine, and is set to follow in the footsteps of his French production forefathers, Laurent Garnier or Agoria, in paving a way for himself through the growing slew of artists out there. Having already caught the eyes and ears of the old techno guard and heavyweight producers including Dave Clarke, Carl Craig, Skudge, John Digweed and Ben Sims, Madben looks set for great heights.
On 'Couleurs De Danse,' Benjamin provides a tempered palette of tracks which flow from red (Danse Rouge), to blue (Danse Bleue), to the veiled and stripped back black (Danse Noire), all taking on different shades of percussive techno. The collection of tracks is then topped off by Brazilian born producer, Urbano.

This is NovaMute's first release since MOTOR (Bryan Black and Oly Grasset) over ten years ago. The Release will be 3 weeks available as VINYL ONLY.
Nova Mute, a subsidiary of Mute (Depeche Mode, Goldfrapp, New Order, Liars, Erasure, Moby), began in 1992 as a response to the growing demand for techno releases in the UK. Originally presenting white labels and imports, NovaMute went on to release records by Plastikman, Speedy J, Juan Atkins, Luke Slater and Joey Beltram to name a few, this is Nova Mute's first release since over ten years ago
Nicolas Bougaïeff presents his new EP on seminal British imprint NovaMute. As a producer he harbours a diverse musical background, having studied in a conservatoire setting whilst foraying into anti-authoritarian rave culture. He is also a respected lecturer, regularly teaching masterclasses in composition and speaking at global events such as Mutek and Ableton Loop - the results of which come to life in the inquisitive spirit of his productions. Cognitive Resonance explores elements of psytrance, gabber and techno through a compositional lens, drawing on the artist's love for avant-garde forms and long-standing relationship with the electronic music community. The title track lays out long, expansive phrases and warped crescendos to create a disorienting structure, whilst distant harmonies, distorted kick drums and shattering effects merge into a hypnotic form on 'Truthful Hyperbole'. Lastly, 'Fake News' mangles our sense of rhythmic familiarity, disrupting the 4/4 beat with a complex metre and sinister melody. This is NovaMute's first release since MOTOR (Bryan Black and Oly Grasset) over ten years ago. T as well as forging invaluable links with labels such as Tresor and Probe, which allowed them to license rare tracks for a wider audience. Forthcoming releases on NovaMute will include EP's from Terence Fixmer and Charlotte de Witte.

* For our eleventh release we are excited to be working with five artists who are all new to the label.
* Rendered open proceedings on side A with a nod to COIL in their psychedelically propulsive workout Analstairface.
End Train follows, steering his machines with tactile precision between acerbic acid lines and cavernous synths, crashing through a brutal onslaught of splintered beats that finally open into space.
* Side B starts with the claustrophobic tension of WarinD's Still Left In There, featuring Huren's disembodied snarl, tearing at the relentless machine funk. This is followed by the insistent, martial urgency of Distant's Hydrargyra, scaling vast heights of immaculate sonic architecture to an emotional pinnacle that is finally resolved in the EBM drenched romanticism of Lapse of Reason's Go Away.
Kiev based Yan Cook joins the Planet Rhythm family with a grim 12'' release containing 4 dark and heavy techno tracks.
For the A-side openingtrack, the Ukranian stalwart shows us some psychotic synth action on the afterhour anthem and title track ''Deformer''
The A2 effort ''Cubism'' continues this slice of black gold with dubby chords and uneasy machine sounds that float over the warm and pumping kickdrum that intensly serves as the backbone of this journey.
After this ''RRR" kicks in as the perfect follow up to ''Cubism''. Where the latter thrives on deep atmospheres Yan Cook changes up the sound for ''RRR"' and cleverly heads for a more rugged touch with the use of immense distortion and unusual synthesis. after this Cook takes us one on a repetitive journey with the closing down effort called ''The Edge''.

Where To Now? Records present the debut release from Akiko Haruna. Akiko’s world is one where cacophonic distress lingers, shuffling itself over scapes of percussive damage and driven groove. Akiko presents a fresh take on the current Technoid function through her use of emotive and intentionally disruptive vocal chops and a dizzying ‘wall of sound’ approach to the dancefloor, consuming all yet somehow keeping vibes alive.
Akiko’s artistic background is primarily in Dance, and undoubtedly this performance led background has had an acute impact on her approach to melodic detail & storytelling. Akiko’s tracks rapidly shift & morph states, always restless and searching with fluidity and intent. From the ever present Micro Electronic details to sweeping swathes of Bass flutter the notion of progressive movement remains at the forefront of her sound, minute elements of detail become briefly isolated, intentionally directing the listener to their subtle presence.
‘Delusions’ Leads with ‘A Mother’s Love’ and begins a theme of resentment and dissonance. The Japanase vocal cuts throughout the track roughly translate to “you should die”, here obviously flipping assumed and supposed relationship rules and roles and exposing an inner turmoil, reflected through a continuous anxiety ridden, almost panicked siren detail which pulses over Akiko’s heads down, deep and uniform forward march.
‘Husband Established’ and the opens with the emotive vocal line “I just hate your Voice”. This is the sound of a poisonous & damaging relationship hurtling towards combustion, where Akiko’s elements gather momentum and impact as layer upon layer of detail pummel and puncture this heightened state, pausing and spiralling to evoke a standoff of aggression and imminent outburst. ‘Husband Established’ stands as a frankly stunning piece of sound design, which manages to capture a raw human emotion, and provide release for the associated junk, stress, and occasional banality of Relationship angst.
‘Hetero’ picks up where ‘Husband Established’ finished, further exploring societal character types and submissive gender tropes that are thrust into our sub consciousness from day to day. The concept of Hyperreality and its themes are continuously explored within Akiko’s practice and It would perhaps be fair to say that these themic explorations within her Music are Akiko’s own outlet for traversing human relationships within a complex, heightened, & layered reality, and it is certainly Akiko’s intention for her audience to feel some kind of relief and release within her sound world. Sonically ‘Hetero’ is a much sparser, subtler affair, where swathes of sampled voice & machine swing in and out of focus, against a weightless backdrop of affecting isolated electronics.
The EP closes with ‘Ripehus Alley’, seemingly void of any deeper meaning or message this serves more as a dreamlike parting song to what is otherwise a highly charged collection. Floating itself away from a frantic & incomprehensible world into a calmer space for final thought and reflection. ‘Delusions’ is a complex, exploratory trip, one which fans of Logos, Fis, Alva Noto, Jlin, Jesse Osborne-Lanthier etc will relish exploring.
“CHAPTER I: THE BLACK GODDESS (AΦOR)” is the latest work from the DJ and producer BLAKE (aka Will Blake) which will land on his debut label TRITON RECORDS featuring the Detroit legend Scan 7.
To launch the label, BLAKE has called upon the most influential Detroit artist Abdul Qadim Haqq (Third Earth Visual Arts), designer of historical releases of among others Underground Resistance, Metroplex and Transmat, who has conceived, curated and realized the entire artwork project of TRITON RECORDS, its logo and the astonishing EP cover.
BLAKE’s works give emphasis to warm sounds coming from his tapes, samplers, drum machines and analogic synthesizers. He has always been inspired by the music from Detroit. For this EP, BLAKE has realized 2 high-quality tracks expertly crafted for the dance floor and 1 warm techno soul cut that has been remixed by Scan 7 with his unique touch. The Intro of the EP will let the listener experience the birth of the planet Triton and will drive him to spatial soundscapes.

The third release on the sister label, NEW YORK TRAX Imports, comes from the legendary Dutch producer and founder of one of the most eclectic underground record labels, Vincent Koreman aka Drvg Cvltvre of New York Haunted. Since 2009, Drvg Cvltvre has been working on his own blend of dystopian acid, no wave, and experimental house. Respected in the international underground for his groundbreaking work in experimental techno as RA-X in the 90's on labels like Bunker and KK Records, Drvg Cvltvre comes from a DIY punk background and opts for hard work rather than hollow pose. The 4-track EP for NEW YORK TRAX Imports is an accurate representation of his style: dark and melancholic, but also uncompromisingly intense.
2018 played host to a bumper crop of sounds from some of Philly's grittiest, including Great Circles mainstays M//R and Chaperone. To close out the year that was, we are pleased to present Heckadecimal's 'Murder Tape.'
A Minneapolis-based producer and acid auteur, Heckadecimal has been a fixture within the vibrant Midwestern electronic music community for nearly 20 years. Founder of the legendary 'Anti-human' events and co-curator of the ever-prolific Always Human Tapes imprint - alongside Ryan Wurst and Peter Lansky - Heckadecimal's reputation is one of unrelenting creativity and tireless advocacy for sonic experimentation. His work has found its way to light via a slew of pseudonyms and stage monikers, including The Worm, noface and Wonder Sirens.
In short - Heckadecimal lives and breathes the sonic matter that he leaves pouring out of studio monitors, busted bar systems and finely tuned rave stacks, wherever his travels take him.
Live performance lies at the core of Heckadecimal's practice. When he stormed through Inciting HQ in Philly earlier this summer, he took command over an arsenal of hardware that reminded us of how Octave One or Shawn Rudiman might show up. These were machines that he had lived with; touched with custom modifications, hand-drawn stickers and pockmarks incurred in battle, one got the sense that the gear was a personal extension of the artist.
Perhaps it's a bit maudlin, but we feel a certain kinship with this project. Indeed, these tracks at times feel very much of a piece with the gnarled tonalities in which our stable typically traffics; all low-slung riddims that reach at equal lengths towards mutated IDM aesthetics and post-Packard Plant techno extrusions. These are future perfect grooves that glide along under the vast Midwestern sky, providing a fertile communication conduit with the City of Brotherly Love.
Give thanks for acid. Great Circles will see you in the New Year..
Mind Records is a Finnish record label and a record store in
Finland owned by Marko Laine (also known of his works on
Djax-Up-Beats, Drop Bass Network and Planet Rhythm). Now after 18 years since last release there's a new 12" offering some serious dark, hypnotic minimal techno by a new Finnish talent J. Lyden.
Very LIMITED album discs available now:
This is the first album Oscar Mulero has released under his own name, after two acclaimed LPs under the moniker Trolley Route. Well known for his skills as a hard-edged, raw and floor-orientated techno dj, his productions go far beyond, digging deep into the intricate landscape of intelligent techno, floating moods, reminiscent atmospheres, harmony and detail.
Grey Fades To Green is the affirmation of his maturity as a producer, using both hardware and software in the pursuit of a highly coherent and diverse album.
The concept is split into two parts: The Grey and The Green, each one with its own character. The first part is rougher and meant for the dance floor, although pays full attention to detail and complexity. The second part is quieter, has a slower pace and is best enjoyed at home.
In The Green Oscar goes deep into the intellectual side of techno music and is heavily influenced by the post rave sound emerging from the UK in the nineties: Aphex Twin, Gescom, B12, Plaid, Autechre.. but with a contemporary approach.
This part of the album brings you melodies, harmonies, endless atmospheres, and hours of studio work. Each sound has been carefully constructed, nothing is left to chance: Every stereo panning, every change to the synth's parameters has been meticulously designed for your listening pleasure; just what you want when you listen to techno on headphones. Futuristic music made with the utmost care.
The Green starts with 'Letters From Madrid', a dreamy and melancholy track, where an introspective melody leads to a slow-building drumbeat. Broken rhythms and distorted drums go side by side with the piano riffs and analogue bleeps: intelligent techno by definition.
'Dreams of Happiness' is a sci-fi soundtrack where pads and the different atmospheres are the main stars, and where subliminal drums add flow to this tune from outer space.
'After All' departs from calm dreamy territories with its grounded beat, complex 303 programming and micro synth sounds. A track which is as good for listening at home as it is for the dance floor.
'The Darker Days' uses a similar formula. Slow bpm, fat drums and weird 303 lines that make infinite layers of sound.
And now for something completely different...CGI is extremely excited to present the Proof Of Concept EP from Shanghai-via-
Chicago's OSHEYACK. These are productions with a weight and freshness that we at CGI have not previously encountered. While on
a small US tour in June 2016, Osheyack played a set in Atlanta and thoroughly blew everyone in the room away with a mastery of
rhythm, sound, and arrangement that is uncanny.
We approached Osheyack after the gig for demos and what we received was as dense and inspiring as the live set. Words don't do this sound justice but it's perhaps most fun to close your eyes and imagine a demonic cirque-du-soleil-esque techno marching band stomping through the graveyard of your dreams and resurrecting all of the wasted souls to stomp on their
graves in a frenzied trance...
Hot on the heels of Len Faki's rapturous remixes on Part 3 we welcome a host of international techno talent for Reverse Proceed Interpretations Part 4.
Argentinian Pfirter steps up first with 2 versions of the sublime Irritant. He delivers 2 strong versions, one of which delves into a deeper side of things and another more club orientated weapon. New French boy on the block, Roman Poncet, fires things up with his version of Rotary. A pounding, relentless take on Slam's original awaits. Closing off this stellar group is Etapp Kyle. His 'Gamma Mix' of Convolute goes into almost ambient territory but remain one for those early mornings as he keeps things deep and trippy.
Haiku's Raw Waxes label is delighted to welcome the famously unconventional Stanislav Tolkachev with a new track EP of experimental techno and IDM sounds. Entitled Champions' Breakfast and with brilliant artwork from German Benedikt Rugar, the releases features six cuts, one of which is a previously digital-only track landing here on vinyl for the very first time.
Haiku has long been a fan of Ukrainian Tolkachev having previously collaborated on a remix for the label, while Tolkachev has also released on Haiku's other label Inkblots. This new EP is one that not only shows off the label's willingness to take risks and put out diverse and interesting electronic music, but also one that proves Tolkachev is a truly unique artist with his own musical voice. He has been that way for more than a decade now, and has put out three long players as well as countless EPs that get heavy support from the tastemakers of the day. This latest offering contains his take on the essentialness of groove, enriched by his use of atonality, dissonance and acid-not-acid textures, all in a minimal style.
The deep 'Shady' kicks things off with spangled synth lines and eerie pads off in the distance. It's a lonely and insular piece with kinked rhythms that keep you locked. The excellent 'The Main Thing Is To Survive' is then less constrained, with kicks that rock back and forth as off kilter synth lines warp and wrap around each other in mind melting and tripped out fashion. Switching up the mood with ease, 'Fuck This Guy' is a dark and musty passage of humid ambient techno with static electricity buzzing about over smeared pads that are filled with menace, then the curious 'Hair In My Mouth' is about blurting, busted frequencies, loose and scattered drums and glassy melodies. It's a mangled and mashed up track that sounds like little else. 'Negative Space' is horror soundtrack techno with urgent, driving drums and nervy sound design that keeps you on edge, and closer 'Self Destruction' is built on broken, bristling beats. A rhythm slowly emerges from the haze and it is one that is physical and restless and sure to make a big impact in the club.
This is a varied and vital EP that oozes essential electronic invention.

Claro Intelecto returns to Delsin for the first time in two years with an EP that was inspired by the producer's formative experiences of techno and his journey through three decades of electronic music. Across four heavy and otherworldly tracks, Claro Intelecto reflects on the impact of forgotten Manchester club the Thunderdome via industrial-strength beats, bleeps and bass-weight; joins the dots between Skam style experimental hip-hop and glassy-eyed techno futurism ("Sniffer Dogs"); immerses us in heavy electro/techno fusion ("Messages") and offers up some intense, mid-tempo dance floor bliss ("Sirens"). It's another standout outing from one of techno's true cult heroes.

"Veil Of Flames" is the second solo EP by label head Kastil in 2017 after the successful " The Sadistic Abbess" earlier this year.
Threading through the corn fields, wearing nothing but a cotton scarf, her body is like an abstract painting. He who beholds her with unpure sentiments, sees not what she is made of.
Her fierce complexion radiates briefly before she speeds up her motions. Out of breath she arrives at the altar of affection. She won't sacrifice her decency for a
chance to be with god.

The definitive Cuttin Headz label welcomes global house icon Jonny White aka Art Department for a new EP that boasts two vital house cuts.
Art Department is one of the most recognisable names in the underground scene. The solo project of No.19 Music label boss and Canadian Jonny White has graced high profile magazine front covers, headlined all the key festivals and events, and turned out some of house and techno’s most essential cuts in the last few years. These two new missiles show yet another sound and style to White’s arsenal, and are destined to make a huge impact in the club.
First out of the blocks is the rock solid ‘Shame’ with razor sharp hi hats and tough, punchy drums. The excellent physicality of the groove is off set by a super soulful vocal sample up top, and as the track barrels along smart filters and a hypnotic lead are sure to get the whole club under a spell. Then comes the superb ‘Fixation’, a totally different but equally original proposition that is built on restless drum programming and twitchy synths. It’s a freaky late night cut that brings muscular grooves and absorbing bass to the floor for maximum destruction.
This is a powerful new EP from Cuttin’ Headz and Art Department, two giants in the scene.

After a sabbatical period, Roberto Auser makes a comeback with his analogical machinery with the exquisite mini-album called “Chaos Never Dies”. The eighth disc in Indigo area’s ÆX series is another excellent showcase of diverse techno flavours combined in one disc. Label curators Jasper Wolff and Maarten Mittendorff, who recently launched their new Indigo aera production alias, jump in with a true ‘90 inspired floor track where the new mysterious Anton Biotica completes the package with a tribally fun and playful tool.

Wrong Assessment has turned some heads in recent times. Shortly after the launch of his AWRY imprint he debuts on Planet Rhythm with a full EP. Close To Red EP is a four track spanning journey through sophisticated techno. WA's range is very wide. He goes from beautifully orchestrated tracks such as Weight of Truth to the neurotic sounds displayed on Close To Red and Bologna. A very diverse debut from a producer whom we expect to hear more often on Planet Rhythm.
"Tender Trance" is the long-anticipated debut EP of the production collaboration between DJ Gigola and Kev Koko, and marks the 5th installment of the Live From Earth Klub imprint (LFEK005). Blending heavy trance synthesizers with broken beats and driving drums, the 3-track-release focuses on different shades of modern trance sound. The EP’s leading track "Papi", adds a layer of DJ Gigola‘s own hazy vocals. "Tender Trance" will be released June 14th 2019 in digital form as well as limited edition of 300 vinyl copies.

SHELVED RECORDINGS 2.1
Following the success of the their debut double 12" release, SHELVED RECORDINGS return with part one of a two part set.
2.2 will follow (the sleeve will ship with Part 1)
Returning to a brief but very fruitful period in electronic music production, Shelved Recordings exists to look back to the golden age of the remix, with a clear view of the future it imagined.
Artists who were steered towards maverick producers, with a view to changing the rules, to re-defining the terms of what modern music should and could be.
Pioneering techniques, over-dubs and an exploratory period of pop production, resulted in many lost dub versions and mixes. Mixes, which invariably were left on the shelf, deemed too 'out there' by the bosses of the the hedonistic label managers who commissioned them.
Carefully reconstructed and rebuilt lost classics from someone who was there the first time around !

Trus'me gets the remix treatment from Answer Code Request, Ben Sims & Pangaea. This is the first of two EPs featuring remixes of tracks from the Trus'me Planet 4 album. Answer Code Request takes Our Future into new territory with two outstanding mixes. Remix 1 moves things to a much more sinister & foreboding place. Tightening the feel & tension of the original with all the hallmarks of classic Berlin techno. Remix 2 winds up & coils the track into a searing workout of early 90's hardcore breakbeat. Ben Sims takes control of Ring Round Heart, pushing the tempo & creating a whole new urgency in the track. This is proper no nonsense heads down business & tight as you like. The mix builds excellently well & manages to produce an epic amount of feel and emotion, dropping in & out of the groove with a sneaky breakbeat & vocal dubs. Pangaea tackles one of the albums more esoteric tracks in The Unexplained. He manages to work a wonderfully intriguing steppers beat which drops from nowhere after the highly beguiling metronomic extended opening. The tracks are getting plenty of play & plaudits from likes of Ben UFO, DJ Deep, Bicep & Anthony Parasole.

More leftfield techno sounds from one of the scene's more unassuming producers, A Sagittariun delivers a new single stamped with his trademark sound aesthetic. The 'Fahrenheit 451' EP brings together three new productions in lieu of a new album coming later in the year.
'The Golden Apple' brings together brain scrambling drums, a heavy hoover bassline, and a typically Sagi style wormhole riff, whilst 'Blue Lotus' throws tropical shapes around the broken beats that flourish into a rapid 4/4 stomper, with scattering hats and equatorial ambience giving a unique vibe. A Sagittariun strays into disco territory on 'Liebe Tanzen', flitting between modern intergalactic synth riffs & basslines, and sampled disco drums.
Adam X returns to his imprint Sonic Groove with his first album in four years, a 56 minute excursion into EBM and Cyberdelic Industrial Techno titled RECON MISSION. The mission begins with beat driven hypnotic electronics that invoke paranormal illusions of Easter island mythology and Bermuda Triangle disappearances. Climbing forward the album crosses the line into harder industrial territories, conjuring visions of New York City's dystopian past and CIA shadow government experiments.
Adam's own voice adorns tracks such as "Never Ending Quest", "Modular Bodies" and the title track "Recon Mission", while manipulated dialogue samples take the stage on "Tales Of Mystery', 'Search & Retrieval' & 'Delusions Of Paranoia'. Subtle, whispered statements creep in and infect the listener's ear, guiding them deeper into mental oppression. This album is not for the faint of heart, and its meticulously detailed production stands as a testament to Adam X's enduring career in techno. Adam has survived the ups and downs of the industry while continually raising the bar for production value and sound design. RECON MISSION is a triumph, ahead of the curve of modern industrial techno. This is not a throwback, this is Future EBM.
While it's freezing winter in Germany, Monika Kruse found a great way to change the subject and think about sunny times: Releasing warm grooves from THE italian breakthrough dj/producer 2012: Alex Costa from Torino. Since his releases on Shinedoe's Intacto and Kaiserdisco's KD Music he is taking record cases by storm and certainly won't change with his 'Moove EP'. Plus Aldo Cadiz from Santiago De Chile is adding a sophisticated remix which makes it even more a standout release for Terminal M.

Techno Album of the month March 2018 in Mixmag UK!
Central to the Israeli club scene, Deep'a & Biri have long been defying expectations even within a community they helped construct. Serving as resident DJs, activists and bookers for Tel Aviv's legendary Barzilay Club, the pair helped build a transcendent club scene. Hugely influential artists such as Robert Hood, Derrick May, Rødhad, Ben Klock and Moritz Von Oswald passed through the club, enjoying legendary crowds and what they could surely sense was a genuine air of anarchy, rebellion and unadulterated rave pleasure.
As the duo held down dozens of parties with dozens of DJs, there was no 'eureka' moment for their emerging sound; just a steady stream of brilliant, inspiring electronic music, much of which left an indelible imprint on the pair. Now based in Berlin, for Deep'a & Biri, things are much the same, even if the landscape and the city is different. Always rooted in the fertile ground between machines and emotion, on their second full-length LP, 'Dominance', the duo demonstrate their unique grasp of the sensitive, unfolding relationship between man and machine. Steadfast in their insistence never to remain in one lane in terms of their sound, 'Dominance' flawlessly segues between forcefulness and weightlessness. From beginning to end, this is not a record afraid to show its teeth with an uncompromising, instantly recognisable techno palette that kicks the foundations of any sound system with menace, anger and determination, particularly on tracks such as the dense 'Voltage' and pulsing throughout the more industrial flourishes of 'Ecole De Nancy' and 'Seeking Solace'.
Beyond these grittier, although never mindless, moments of authority, a sense of escapism and curiosity imbues the album. 'Alpha Cephei' offers the first hint of Deep'a & Biri's more wistful concepts, producing a smoke trail of twinkling electronics out of a smudged but distinctive bassline. That understated sense of emotional catharsis carries throughout, to be found between the complex-yet-familiar bells that drive 'Flow Diverter's' rhythm to a Detroit-indebted landscape that will surely instantly elasticate any keen dancers, while 'False Memories' offers big-room techno fulfillment with none of the character or sincerity removed for cheap thrills. Saving the most remarkable moments for last, the pair sign off 'Dominance' with the poignant and purifying 'Astral Trails', fusing an ethereal, ambient landscape with the more pronounced rhythms of their hardware.
The album's distinctive artwork comes from the studio of Jewish orthodox artist Avraham Guy Barchil, who forged a powerful connection with Deep'a, both was immediately drawn to 'weird atmosphere, amazing technique and emotions involved with his work'. Perhaps one of the most interesting painters from Israel, Avraham is known for his unique perspective, taking his inspiration from the Zohar - the foundational work in the literature of Jewish mystical thought known as Kabbalah. The ambiguous figures represent mystical aspects of the Torah (the five books of Moses), as well as material on mysticism and mythical cosmogony.
Ensuring their natural, conscious touch always remains at the forefront of this unapologetically machine-driven music, Deep'a & Biri have produced an album in the lineage of their heroes and greatest influences. Cerebral yet satisfying, deep yet always engaging, 'Dominance' both reasserts and evolves Deep'a & Biri's forward facing and singular sound.
The third release is a special collab between Elad Magdasi & Mathias Weber.
Mathias is a devoted raver & music lover. His influences run deep into the techno & acid culture and he is addicted to groove & rhythm.
Together with Elad, who is returning the 3rd time to FLR, they present two main tracks with remixes from Hector Oaks & Blind Observatory.

What is Infoline Infoline indicates new content components via an intuitive union of several media forms. We see the medium record/cover as a placeholder that does not contain enough information or limits itself only to the audio (music). The goal is to break open that standard by collaborating with designers, artists and musicians to find the improbable (formula) within the limit (format). The label Infoline is built on that collaboration because via that connection the network of possibilities grows and the intensification becomes more complex. Three years after presenting an original idea of arranging his own music live by using a standard DJ setup and a drum machine, Strahil Velchev alias KiNK is ready to premiere the very first EP-outing of his new project entitled kirilik.
Created with obscure studio equipment and backed by an array of sonics out of his extensive line-up of machinery, Kirilik successfully transfers to the record that unique level of levity and immediacy that his live act has already become renowned for.
Loopy and thus infinite in nature, sometimes seemingly spiraling themselves out of control even, these tracks are as versatile as they are just fun to play around with! Fittingly enough, Infinity Is Not A Number comes complete with an added bonus of four additional endless loops, edged into the final grooves of each side...
Next stunning Terminal M release from the Italian born top producer Luca Morris.
With "Party Tradition" he presents 4 more strong tracks which are used to be played from
top Dj's like Marco Carola, Dubfire, Loco Dice, Monika Kruse and many more...
First track "party tradition" is a stomping dark party anthem to the clubs. On AA with a
mysterious voice and a wiring sound comes "Small Planet". Third track
"Isabella" continues with his dark flow and basslines. last but not least "Arrange" comes
with a bit more brighter melody, but still not losing his touch of great groove and
deepness...

Part 2 - Voda[8,61 €]
Vozduh (air) marks the first in a series of EPs by Nocow for Figure, showcasing his emerging signature-style of Electronica-tinged techno. Drawing inspiration from the sheer endless winters of St. Petersburg, his series builds on classic IDM tropes, imbuing them with a noticably Russian and deeply personal sensitivity. As each part of the trilogy is represented by an element, the tracks on Vozduh are vaporous by nature: from the crackling ambiance of opener Bouis to the weightless vocals on stoic Forgiven, as well as a surprisingly introspec-tive take on ghetto-house or the wafting melodies closing out the record's B-side - all forms seem to be in con-stant shift, casting a dense yet permeable body of sound. With two more releases on the way, which will be exploring the themes of voda (water) and zemlya (earth) within this artist's singular spectrum, the outlook (which also includes a full- volume edition) on this approaching season is anything but gloomy.
LF RMX is a new series, exclusively featuring edits and remixes originally made by Len Faki for use in his own DJ sets. Now releasing them to a wider audience, the second edition presents two complementary contrasting versions of 'Deep In' by Stephen Brown. Sticking to the strengths of the source material, Faki's sleek polish makes the centerpiece acid bassline and playful cut-up vocal stand out from the mix even more. Already quite a force to begin with, the momentum only keeps growing as oldschool drum breaks and additional percussion roll in. The original's linear progression is traded for murky, modulating analog squelches on the Deepspace Mix, turning the tune into a dubby late-night groover, which still holds some surpises in store. Amaranth EP is the latest Various Artists effort through the Planet Rhythm label. This compilation features sounds by Dubiosity, Alfredo Mazzilli, Space Above and Exilles. Also this package contains a mesmerizing remix by Glaswegian artist Edit Select which we are proud to add to the label roster. Soundwise, Amaranth EP is covering a lot ground within modern day Techno. Surely a package that will appear to lovers of multiple modes within the genre.
FIGURE JAMS enters the next round, setting up a pairing between two hardware-loving, no-frills techno-purists. Both artists build on vibrant, machine-made roughness, yet each leaving their uniquely flavored footprint. Kicking things off is Eindhoven's Albert Van Abbe, whose wide-open soundscapes and searching synths evoke an emotional impact that goes far beyond mere tools, able to equally move and sooth even the fiercest of late-night lovers. Low-key producer SP-X appears on the flipside, ready to get lost deep within layers of hypnotic loops. Searing percussion, rumbling bass and dubby synths engage in complex conversation, subtly swelling and swaying but always keeping the groove ever so tight.

The tenth output of Invite s Choice records is another hard hitting banger made by Border One.
Drumrim s straightforward four to the floor kick is accompanied by a hard hitting bass and a repetitive leadsound that evolves throughout the track. The overdriven hihats and rides combine well with the panicky sound. Diffuse goes along with the flow set by the A1 track, yet has a bit more percussive feel to it due to the toms added. Hatchet on the B-side provides an aggressive kick and percussive elements.
The sound evolves around one overdriven synth sound that drains you in to the track. Perfect for fast transitions while mixing. Copylust ends the EP a bit slower BPM wise, but emits the same energy as the previous tracks. Straight-forward, hypnotising, hard hitting contemporary techno. Another great showcase of the talent harvested by Invite s Choice
SUMMA CUM LAUDE is pleased to announce the new release from cult Seattle based underground techno producer Collin Strange - Acid Non Musica.
Collin Strange has a long and storied history in the New York City underground music scene of the nineties. From owning a record shop in the East Village, to working at the largest Record distributors, Dj'ing anywhere from the dirtiest lower east side squats to the famed Limelight, from playing in hardcore punk and noise bands, to producing music alone, Strange was around at one of the most vibrant (and transitional) times in New York history.
Following on the success of his highly regarded releases for L.I.E.S., Strange delivers four tracks unrelenting industrial acid. Creepy and unnerving, the tracks are built on a simple formula of pummeling 909 kicks, distorted 303's, and walls of noise. Grim, cold, hopeless acid with no funk, no soul, just pure unchecked aggression for only the hardest dj's. Drawing upon equal parts 80's industrial noise, 90's hard acid techno, and contemporary hardcore punk, Strange's latest release Acid Non Musica makes the current crop of 'dark' techno artists look pale in comparison.

Coyu is working on his highly anticipated debut album; it will explain a story, my story attests the Big Cat. It's the first chapter of this story and the debut single of the album is 1+1, a track made in collaborating with Thomas Gandey A perfect summer track, powerful but addictive and catchy. In Coyu's own words 1+1 it's me and my girlfriend, me and my mother, me and my team, Suara and me, my music and me, the world and me. Because without the people you love and all that you love you are nothing. 1 + 1 is a claim to love and be loved, to embrace sensibilities, to create synergies and teamwork. But also, it is the communion of my two great passions: techno and house music. Nine minutes of linear and heavy groove that melts with the notes of an emotional piano. It's a track that I'm deeply proud of, I am pretty sure that in 10 years from now I will continue to enjoy it like I did the first day it was finished and after a year and a half I can now say that it is just as much mine as it is yours. Because you and me are also 1+1. For the remixes probably we have the greatest pack ever on the label: Gerd Janson delivered an amazing interpretation of the track: Truncate takes the track down to raw techno, less is more. Last but not least we have the introspective trip of Cosmin TRG which completes one of the releases of the year on the kitties label.

Following up his appearance on Part 4 of our Strength In Numbers compilation, we are ecstatic to present some fresh material from no other than DJ Slip. A name that has been on the tongue of anyone entrenched in the US techno scene since the early 90's, DJ Slip has entranced audiences for years with his brilliantly bizarre take on sonics. Remix duties this time around come from Berghain resident DJ and all around musical powerhouse, Answer Code Request.
Planting the listener on some foreign stratospheres has always been DJ Slip's expertise, and 'Highland' comes as no exception. Echoed synth stabs detune into the dark while a barrage of claps and clangs provide an onslaught of percussive cleverness that is a signature of the Slip sound. 'Aerial' comes at you like a plane colliding with the earth, a kamikaze of dissonance spiraling downwards and then
in reverse. It's driving tempo, surreal drones, and thudding toms cascade into an intense peak time experience. Answer Code Request provides the perfect counter as a remix, smoothing out the edges into a refined, psychedelic expedition that breathes and shifts as it tunnels deeper. All three tracks together create a diverse and gripping package with something suitable for all times of the night.
Cambridge-based beat-scientist Filter Dread presents the third release on the Tech Startup catalog, TS000003. Inspired by laboratories across the street from his studio, the four tracks take motifs from the genres of jungle, hardcore, and grime, and teleport them to alien dimensions.
The record kicks off with Rainforest, a track which mutates grime hammer kicks and classic jungle drum-rolls. The following track, Blizzard, flows like metallic ooze with its cold, cybernetic percussion and liquified pads. Tripping Up dishes a devastating jungle-tekno sequence with crushing snares and a sinister bassline. RX-4 Real brings the release to a close, bubbling and percolating with its reverb-soaked stabs and glitched out beats.

Ilario Alicante is back and delivers another Alicante-Blueprint full of minimal techno beats ready to rock and hypnotize us. 4 tracks that represent the typical handwriting of the Italian who moved to Berlin a couple of years ago. Hard techno however sexy and funky and close to perfection. 'Thera' is a massive techno monster with a mental synth line and fx loaded spoken word vocals. Steve Rachmad joins Alicante for remix action here and adds a cool and bassy organ line together with freaked out feedback-delays. Rachmads remix appears a bit deeper compared to the solid techno original however it is a hard techno monster, too with a cool detroit touch. Speaking of Detoit: Alicantes 'Argo' proves the 'Berlitalian' can go deeper, too. Warm analogue synths and funky jazzy drum programing and all dubbed into the arrangement in a very nice old school way. 'Argo' appears unpredictable and elegant at the same time and is a pure techno lovers highlight - one for all you xxl Detroit-fans! 'Encouter' gets us back to the more energetic and minimal technofield again and follows the path and vibe of 'Thera". Stomping, merciless and muscle packed with driving 909 techno rides and a crazy synth line firing out of the speakers! Alicante hands in a great techno 4-tracker with some extra Detroit flavour. Pushing and forcing but deep as hell at the same time this one is fresh peaktime food for the techno floors around the globe!

Sliding Windows is a creation by Karl Bult diving into the world of ambient and deeper techno embraced with a collaboration between Jana Sleep, Fjader & Korridor. Together we create this space of sounds that will open the window to the second release on Nordanvind.
We remain suspended, fluctuating
In these waters of unknown wellness
Flooded by a silence of emotions.
Emotions that make our loneliness
More deep, clear and awful.
As nails that dig died skins,
As eyes that bleed making skins acid
As hair that strangles the crowd's voices
Thus we,
Remain suspended
in this air rarefied by thoughts
to make us more conscious of the restless lack
of the Hope from us stolen.
Blank Code start 2014 off strong with their latest EP Rituals of Submission, produced by Luis Flores, with remixes by Black Asteroid and DJ Hyperactive. The opening track Discipline starts off with a nice creepy atmosphere supported by a solid kick and just the right amount of percussion to hook you into the tracks core rhythm, which stays consistent while the supporting percussion keeps the intensity of the track in constant motion. Black Asteroid's Discipline remix gives the track a whole new perspective, while staying true to the original's excellent use of classic elements. The straightforward kick and upbeats work perfect with this track's industrial bassline, while cleverly programmed analog synths carry the track with slow triplet rhythms, and quirky stabs that drift off to space.
Luis Flores' second original composition, The Word, follows the same philosophy as Discipline, with many elements coming together to form one solid rhythm. This is a huge sounding track with intricate metal percussion and pitch modulated stabs that form a dark and inciting hook which is overtaken by filtered claps as the track progresses. DJ Hyperactive gets down to business with his remix of The Word and lets his Chicago roots shine through as hats on all fours and hard hitting claps are used to raise the energy sparked by the deep kick and well processed stab.
Amsterdam label Taped Artifact has lined up an EP from Merv aka Brian Oldenborg and Jan Christiansen. After the Re-Melted reissue on Styrax in 2015, this is the pair's third new EP in three years since coming back after first making music back in the mid nineties. Their warm dub and techno style is still very much fresh and arresting. Blueprint opens the EP with eight enthralling minutes of percolating drums and shuffling hi hats. Frosty yet warm, it's a cavernous affair with a hypnotic riffs sucking you in over and over. Shine is more upright techno, but the rock solid kicks are still draped with rippling, static coated chords that ripple out in all directions. Rotundum closes things out with synth waves gently breaking over hunched drums that build the pressure. It's tense and engaging while remaining thoroughly atmospheric.
