Cryovac Recordings is proud to release its' 20th edition on random colored vinyl. Cryovac is a gathering of minds that work together to create a physical record of their sound in this time. We go our own way in production and arrangement for our personal vision to endure. Our goal is to add a new layer to the Detroit soundscape.
D.J. Roach is a techno activist with a rhythm agenda of percussive techno. His banging and clanging romps rock through breakdowns and back again. Conga and claps work together to form a shaky funk. what is needed for a healthy dancefloor.
A.Garcia's subtle drone rides waves of synth in an offering of minimal ease. His moody atmosphere turns tone in soulful harmony; while simple drumming builds to a nonchalant bop. The rise and fall of the elements allow you to examine the track on all sides. Garcia smoothes out an early morning gem that is taylormade for a smoke.

One of the current techno scene's 'hidden treasures', Bristol based A Sagittariun has discretely released a wide breadth of music over the last five years for labels like Secretsundaze, Hypercolour and his own Elastic Dreams label. Two highly acclaimed albums in 'Dream Ritual' and 'Elasticity' as well as fifteen EPs have appealed to those who like their techno without frontiers, taking in blistering 140BPM techno, breakbeat IDM and ambient dub with ease. His second release for Hypercolour displays signs of crossover appeal at long last... Lead track 'Vanishing Point' has already been receiving early plays from the likes of Laurent Garnier (dropping it in his recent Timewarp Germany set), Spencer Parker and Len Faki. Big pumping beats and spiralling FX fall aside to a lone breakbeat that ushers in one pretty special breakdown section. The childlike keys and fathoms deep synth stabs (straight out of the John Carpenter school of fathoms deep synth stabs) have already drawn comparisons to the retro 80s vibes to be heard on the American sci-fi horror series Stranger Things. It's a breakdown that takes the listener to an uncharted dimension, bookended by slammin' beats that acts as a perfect mood changer in any set. Watch this one soar! 'The Pathway' keeps things on an all together straighter tip; an incessant tribal loop weaves and filters around a thunderous kick and shuffling hats, ebbing and flowing all the way in what might be A Sagittariun's most club-centric and stripped back production yet. Matrixxman (Dekmantel/Spectral Sound) is on hold to deliver a superb remix; pushing the original down a long dark tunnel for a growling and reverberating techno overhaul.

Zone look to Irish artist and esteemed electro producer DeFeKT aka Matthew Flanagan for their next EP.
Over the years this artist has become synonymous with proper techno and electro. His hardware based sound has won him fans all over the world and chief amongst those records is the 2010 mini album he released and which got hammered by legends like Dave Clarke. Working on Combat Recordings, Signal Code and Electronic Explorations amongst others, his rugged drum sounds and modular synth style is textured and real and for that reason always stands out.
It is the slick and slippery electro acrobatics of 'Mental Ease' that gets us going. With rasping basslines, slapping hits and drums and a lively groove, this one is a restless and relentless jam for the peak of the night. Up next is 'VHS Romance' which takes a more introspective path with zoned out pads and a burrowing lead synth line that carries you into the night amongst warm chords.
Then comes 'A Pure Vision', which is a deep and elastic number with flashes of synths and crisp, cold hits contrasting with each other in alluring ways. The monstrous bass keeps things nice and physical as well as it being emotionally touching. Lastly, 'Plastic Skin' comes on strong with a manic lead line racing along at a hundred miles an hour. It is constantly changing shape and never lets up, ending the EP in a truly arresting place.
This is proper electro from one of the best in the game right now.

Russian producer Valya Kan debuts on Spencer Parker's Work Them Records with a four track sampler from her subterranean album 'Dust And Haze'.'Leave' opens up the sampler with tantalising synths and dubby effects before you're lead into 'Promises' featuring Valya Kan's voice, uttering the track title whilst syncopated percussion and ghostly atmospherics work their magic. Flip it over and you're hit with the whirring sci-fi elements and rattling samples in 'Smoke In The Cockpit'. Rounding off the sampler 'Acid Hotel' is a more up-tempo, demonstrating rolling arpeggios and snappy snares.

The two versatile record labels Banlieue and Peur Bleue are joining forces for a very special occasion: PSYOP, the outstanding debut album by WATCHING AIRPLANES, a production duo breaking through in 2018.
PSYOP opens up an alternate reality where dance music is freed from the yoke of genre-based distinctions and is no longer tied to any dancefloor norms. By exploring different moods with smooth sailing and rough patches, PSYOP is an intense journey in the murky world of psychological mass conspiracy. This LP could very well be the soundtrack for an cutting-edge Orwellian sci-fi movie or an imagined futuristic venue where music and dance of a new kind are performed. Forward-thinking dance music from the future seems like the most accurate description for this album devoid of any tropes or nostalgia.

Scion of the Urals this devotee called Gedevaan drops a notable classy non-Moscow sound. The city where music can be fake, where anyone can lie to you, where anything can be sold and re-sold for a higher price. Where constantly you suffer from major vanity and notorious capital speedy manner. Moving to that town may change you with no warning. 'Class Compliant' is more about authentic slow-burning undercurrents. Smells like 'rest of Russia' the noise is out of massive roaring cities and their pre-harsh dummy lives. Inclined to withdrawn and introspective synthesis Gedevaan offers an original dim-light feel, warm-wet, woody swamps and mossy rocks. A velvet haze makes your vision blurry. Just look! Is it a Baba Yaga's hut Track the music. To don't forget about your roots. It's pretty nice to accomplish with old stuff by Perc and a brand new one of Electric Rescue - the pure primal perception with a high impact factor.

Thomas Hessler returns with his second full EP for IMF, with four tracks further establishing the on-the-rise German producer's talent for sleek, agile techno.
EP opener Push is the record's most intense cut, brimming with a powerful intent that's barely contained by the track's dramatic surging synths. It's followed by Rise, which matches its rhythmic urgency to an escalating melody that teases while it builds towards its cathartic 'house lights up' moment.
The record's B1 track, the aptly-titled Reflections, is the EP's most contemplative, with an unwavering pulse underpinning a subtle rising-and-falling melody that always threatens to burst into technicolour before dipping back into darkness. Finally, EP closer The Hope may be optimistically named yet is conversely the track most likely to incite dancefloor panic, with a drum rhythm that bucks like a rodeo bull, to which your best course of action is to hold on tight and enjoy the ride.

After his appearance on Born Free Records, Rollerboys Recordings, and Rett I Fletta, Johannes Wilkstrom aka Yourhighness contributes to Cocktail d'Amore Music with Stratofortress. The Berlin based imprint gathered techno guru Rrose, Born Free Records owner Samo DJ, and international Japanese wave representative Gonno, to offer an EP with a wide range of interpretations of the title track.
The original mix is an acid based, industrial influenced techno banger. Highly energetic, for sweaty late-night dance floors. On the same side Samo DJ transforms the techno blaster into a funky EBM ballad, characterized by a deep male voice and a breakbeat groove. Rrose is on remix duty on the B-side. Stratofortress suddenly turns into a dubby, everlasting build up, that eventually implodes in the depth of a black hole.
Closing the EP Gonno offers a slow-mo rework. Deep and very cinematic, this remix will please every Cosmic Hole connaisseur.

When looking for music to be released on Magazine, our guideline has always been energy. The key question remains the same: Does the artist have something important to say Does it have a sense of urgency Alex played us these tracks while visiting the Magazine studio in Cologne earlier this year and we were consumed by unadulterated rage. This is anything but a conceptual release, Alex has not released this kind of music before. A side of Alex manifests itself through these techno tracks, that most might not have known before. Brutal yet beautiful, furious yet fragile. A Berlin native who shaped his sense for techno by striving through his hometown and its infamous raves, Alex is now one of the prominent protagonists of that scene - not only when regularly playing at Berghain. The EP harnesses this experience perfectly, fully preserving the energy of the creation process by recording directly to tape. Most productions may have suffered from this primitive method of locking sound into position, but not these tracks from a techno master.
Since 2011, Smoke Machine have been running a successful and well established podcast series. Now, after 8 years, they have ventured into the offline realm and will release their first EP. The record features tracks by Blind Observatory, Dorisburg and Agnois. These artists have regularly played Smoke Machine parties and their larger event Organik festival and are in line with the Smoke Machine sound.

12" sleeve designed and hand stamped by Alex from Cassegrain.
In quick succession to ARCS-03, which boasted remixes by The Mover, Shifted and Peder Mannerfelt, Cassegrain keep up the pressure with a new EP of originals - ARCS-04. Returning to their tunnelling hypnotic trademark sound over three focused, club-ready trips, the Arcing Seas heads channel varied and irrepressible moods into each track. Built on solid dancefloor founda-tions and rich in colourful, non-conventional sound design, they scan through tribal ritualism with A side 'Shahmaran', moving to the pumping urgency of 'Caracal' and the rolling post-acid workout of 'Vulpine'. ARCS-04 is a straight-up DJ-friendly 12'', something that's conveyed in the record's more minimalist artwork.

'Me Me Me is two... and in keeping with the name it seemed that I had no choice but to put out what is only my second ever release on my own label since launching with the debut release 'Tachyon' back in 2016.
(It's also the labels 13th release too. Spooooooky)
So here it is, a double A Side...
Side A is 'Valhalla' which attempts to be as majestic as the name suggests.
Side AA has 'Fidelity", which is me channelling big room house as much as I can, while trying to keep ahold of whatever heart strings I can tug on.
I'll let you judge if I've achieved what I'd set to do with either.
Past those brief descriptions, I still find talking about music to be mildly redundant when you can most likely listen while you're reading this, so instead I'd like to use this sales blurb to issue a massive heartfelt thanks to everybody who has supported the label in the last 2 years, as well as every artists who has trusted us with their music.
Big love to, Dj Tennis, Last Waltz, Red Axes, James Hadfield & Danny Linton, Axel Boman, Bird of Paradise, Pale Blue, Pional, Frank Butters / Cult of Glamour, Andrew Weatherall, Ess O Ess, Desert Sound Colony, Elliot Adamson, Rex The Dog, Forriner, Shit Robot, Raj Pannu, Cosmin TRG, Edmondson, Dauwd, ASOK, Vyvyvan, Paul Woolford, Christophe, Ian Blevins, Dharma, Jana, Pink Skull, Medlar, Ben Caldwell, Dos Attack, Force Majeure, Club Tularosa, Juan Maclean and AWOL!'
Man Power - Summer 2018
While carefully handling their respective careers, postponing then their obvious collaboration, Möd3rn trio's members have capitalized its desire and now deliver its mere substance, in the
rightest moment, where, simply, all the distant forces converge.
The six daring, expert hands merge now into a unique entity, unanimously moving within the same effort towards techno music. The formula is elaborated freely: each one's adjunctions -subtle keys, nervous chords, underground blows, rhythmical uproars- pour into a thick maelstrom, opaque, condensing Detroit's grieving sensibilities as well as last decade's bewildering cacophonies.
Chance intertwined their paths and now the three companions celebrate both the friendship that resulted and the good fortune that has driven it, by improvising live together as one faceless, solid body agitated by the urge of dance and music, composing the material that shall be processed later on to form their eponym label's releases.
This first album delivers us a raw & emotional techno. Through this long format, the 3 producers indulge more and expand the scope of their musical playground. Less condensed than an EP this album is a contemplative musical journey that awakens all the senses while remaining dedicated to the dancefloor. This album appears as an obvious decision, logical continuation of the story,
because Möd3rn was born from live. Today, Möd3rn shows us a varied panel of his efficient work, sensitive and powerful, combining strong feelings and dynamic energies.

Berlin based Zehnin keeps up a fine release schedule by asking Blawan to remix its inaugural EP from Lucy. Once again focussing on experimental, ambient and techno sounds, it is another fascinating release. Blawan has been in his own sound world for years now. Releasing on the likes of Hessle Audio, Hinge Finger and his own Ternesc, he's made brutalist, heavily textured tracks, big room tools and dark grooves with freaky sound design. It's all helped to make him one of the most interesting producers of the day, and here he shows another side to his sound. First up is his version of 'The Hermit,' which is seven spacious and mysterious minutes of creeping pads and implicit rhythms. Dark but inviting, it's stripped back, hollowed out techno that manages to be hugely absorbing and menacing without any clearly defined drums. On the flip is the equally beguiling 'The High Priestess'. Deep, subliminal kicks set the tone as groaning riffs, train-track percussion and distant, tortured pads all slowly hypnotise. It builds in pressure and creeps you out as it locks you ever further in. This is evocative dead-of-night music that says a lot in impressively economical ways.

Hailing from Tel Aviv, and cutting her chops on the Los Angeles underground, Mor Elian is a relatively new name on the block, but her deft tastes have seen her share the stage with the likes of Kerri Chandler, Mike Dunn, Seven Davis Jnr, DJ Qu and many more, and most recently, releasing her debut vinyl release on the excellent Prime Numbers label, featuring FXHE's OB Ignitt on remix duties. On 'Drum Vortex', Mor strikes a killer release for Hypercolour, enlisting two big remixes on the release from Joey Anderson and Markus Suckut. On her original mix, 'Drum Vortex' rolls out a ricocheting drum workout that indeed goes through the vortex; otherworldly voices and cosmic drones sit in the middle of the mix whilst the rides and hats intensify. Joey Anderson has proven himself as one of the most diverse house producers out there, with offerings for Dekmantel, Syncrophone Recordings and Tanstaafl Planets. Joey remodels 'Drum Vortex' into an old style warehouse dub; rolling congas and snares with incessant synth stabs and bending strings, making up for one serious remix from Mr. Anderson. Another interpretation is on offer from Markus Suckut, whose techno prowess has shone for labels like Rekids, Be As One, Mosaic and his own Exile label (run with Johannes Heil). Suckut's trademark dense beats are in play here, shuffling hats and micro bleeps weave through vocal elements and sturdy percussive work, bringing a touch of the Berghain style to this remix package. Closing the release is another original production from Mor; 'Basma' again focuses of the drum groove, with bright and springing claps bouncing off the hazy bottom ends and melodic touches. Pacey and energetic, Mor gets bang on the groove to carve out a club little B2 style track in time honoured traditition.

ae Recordings is the infamous sublabel of Thule Records, which was responsible for some of the finest techno releases from Iceland in the early 2000s. This collaboration between two titans of the Icelandic electronic music scene, Thor & Yagya, was one of the pedestals of the Thule Musik dynasty. Originally released in 1998, it still stands the test of time even ages gracefully like a good red wine, where the the harsh tannins of its youth gradually give way to a softer mouthfeel.
Ooger deliveres finely crafted techno with glacial atmosphere a blend Thule records has long time ago perfected. The phuture isn't what it used to be The Phuture is Cow.

I first heard of Julixo when I put my hands on his fantastic EP called Silas released on Rauh 005.
After that, I kept a close eye on the sounds he was posting, and when I heard REBHO, I knew we were going to do something together. The warm synth line, together with the jackin drum patterns, were perfect. Then came REFLECTIONS, which fitted superbly with REBHO. Although slower, and maybe more introspective, you still have that warm feeling going through the track.
We decided to go with LIFE OF CRIME on the other side of the record. Much more aggressive in its construction, that track deserved a side on its own: modern techno at its best.
I hope you will enjoy this nice versatile release as much as I do!
Best regards, Philippe Petit

The fifth record on NEW YORK TRAX is by Løt.te, the Turkish-born, Brooklyn-based DJ, producer and designer affiliated with The Bunker New York by virtue of two well-received vinyl releases. This politically charged EP titled 'State of Exception' is Løt.te's personal reflection on the current social and political climate in Turkey. With rhythmic synths brought to the foreground, Løt.te committed a masterpiece that only a skilled and thoughtful artist like himself can. The opening 'Ultra Vires' is a relentless synth-driven warehouse track mercilessly rolling at the speed of 140BPM. The deeper Ausnahmezustand follows; it is a reflective and rhythmical piece perfect for both home listening and the dance floor. 15.07.2016 opens the B side with its tense yet playful atmosphere and numerous constantly evolving layers of sound. Finally, Graft is a shockingly intense introspective piece. Crafted with Japanese taiko drums and digital synthesizers pushed to their limits, it is a lesson in perfect sound design.
The Europe-centered techno scene might be thinking: Where is techno in a city as vast, dynamic and electric as New York It's alive and well, and keeps growing through aptly-named NEW YORK TRAX. Founded in 2016 and based in Brooklyn, NEW YORK TRAX is an outlet for New York music, by New York artists, in New York city.
The artist behind the fourth New York Trax release needs no introduction. Steve Stoll is one of the pioneers and founding fathers of New York techno. Producing pure, minimalist analogue-minded techno (even though his career began as a drummer with the industrial label Wax Trax), Steve Stoll has recorded for his own label Proper NYC, Trax Records, Djax, Nova Mute and many more, including his recent appearances on Nina Kraviz's imprint Trip. This record on New York Trax is the essence of Steve Stoll's style: minimal, driving, with a subtle groove that sinks in the rich texture of sound. Arcane Patterns is a vinyl & digital label that encompasses kinetic body music by translating sacred codes, mathematical polyrhythms and dooming moods, catering to both the club and the home listener.
Shaped by the emancipatory energies of the hardcore/punk scene in their youth, Berlin & Mainz-based duo 'aphtc' (aka Kl.ne & CRSC) now immerse themselves in the realms of bass-heavy club music, sonic fiction and syncopated hyperstition.
Limited to 300 copies with unique artwork which quotes the late great Mark Fisher, this 12" meticulously executes the modern-day UK Techno/Bass sound design with clean tensity and dread. Don't sleep.
The 12inch When Grounds Shift by the duo aphtc is a visceral trip into a sonic fiction, in which everything is out of balance. Rhythms take over your sensory system in order to resonate in a new way and your muscles are tricked by spontaneous desires. While the intricate breakbeat on When Grounds Are Shifting (The Otolith Is Obsolete) create a dialogue with the genderless vocals samples, counterpointed by sudden strikes of visceral subbass, the jungle inspired B side Gravity`s Pitfalls starts with clusters of atonal clouds peaking in a trembling bass drop followed by polymetric drum patterns that sketch spaces of radical autonomy. Inspired by the intriguing aesthetics of the Hardcore Continuum and the sonic language of noise and bassmusic, this idiosyncratic record takes a great step forward to shape a colourful future.

Tallmen 785, after releases on Hotflush, Fiedel and his own self-named imprint, makes his full EP-debut on OFF.
Things kick off with Batucada, a full-on dancefloor tool with raw and unique sounddesign.
The name-giving 'Circadian Rhythm' goes down a more subtle and experimental route, with an intricate synth lead pattern joined by a swung ladback groove.
'Driving Forward' does what its name says, an arpeggiated lead on a hefty kick, joined by meandering distorted pads make this track as danceable as trippy, a perfect tune for the later hours and to close this EP.

Sender Berlin, the producer duo of Hendrik Vaak and Torsten Litschko, belong to the great discovers of the 90´s Tresor Headquarters generation. Their "Spektrum Weltweit" debut album released on Tresor Records in 1999, with its subtly fusion of filigree grooves, minimalistic deepness and playful melodies is one of today´s classics in the techno genre. Allmusic appreciates their work with the words: "Sender Berlin keeps tweaking theirsongwriting, never recycling the same song idea twice, but still using a consistent palette of sounds to differing results with each song." The unity of multiplicity influenced also the main idea of their UnGleich record label which was founded in the same year and which set standards as related to stylistic bandwidth and uncompromising quality.

Fresh for 2018 the ever pioneering Octave One are bringing us some brand new music for the new year. Using their much loved Random Noise Generation alias the upcoming release entitled 'N2 The Enfinate , contains a new single as well as a remake of 'Rock my Soul' in the form of the 'Reborn Vocal Remix'.
The first Random Noise Generation release was 'Falling in Dub' in 1991 and sounding just as fresh 27 years later,'N2 The Enfinate' is due for release this March. For this single a retro energy has been explored in the title track 'The EnFinate', running parallel to a more contemporary groove and rolling, marauding baseline. The second track on the package, 'Rock my Soul' (Reborn Vocal Remix) starts with a strong intent and a weighty bassline paving the way for precise and bright chord stabs.
The single is taken from the new album 'Endustry', a full body of work encompassing 7 full length cuts, set for release in spring.
After touring and making music for decades the spirit and essential energy of the craft is what keeps them eternally inspired to keep creating and touring the globe... 'Once it takes hold of you you can't stop even if you wanted to.' say the brothers.

Highly Recommended!! Parassela is the live and studio project of The Analogue Cops and Blawan. They are back on Restoration Record with the Flunkey' E.P., an explosive 4 tracker of massive hardware jams. Uptempo beats, heavy basses, suspicious noises, obnoxious analogue pads. Raw-fi techno at its state of the art, helically scanned with no hesitation to 12,7 mm. magnetic bands.

* To celebrate the second anniversary of Khemia Records we are pleased to welcome back In Aeternam Vale, the legendary French artist who inaugurated the imprint on a split Ep with Bronze Teeth in March 2016.
* This is the first single-artist Ep produced by the label, initiating a new series that will run parallel to the V/A editions.
* The tracks 'Dave' and 'Circles' form an elliptical conundrum composed of various references including Kubrick's alchemical allegory 2001 A Space Odyssey, (sampled in French) with it's existential narrative of a schizophrenic artificial intelligence lurking in the shadows. The Deus ex Machina wondering if mankind is still useful to machines, or perhaps even dangerous to them The infamous Seveso chemical disaster at the pharmaceutical laboratory ICMESA caused by human error, the glowing blood-red sphere of HAL 9000, the all-seeing eye of the sentient super-computer and the circular composition of the toxic compound 2,3,7,8 Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD), released into the atmosphere at Seveso. With this cryptic feedback loop, Laurent Prot is suggesting that the new technologies we are developing now, for use in our near future could result in catastrophe when human control is lost to the self-learning of AI. The homicidal consequences of a machine take-over find visual form in the bleak, dystopian aesthetic of Evelyn Bencicova's cover artwork.
Next up on Dusky's renowned 17 Steps label is the return of long term pal Kiwi. Having supported the lads on 9 of the 17 Steps tour dates and having also provided the 15th release in the label catalogue - the fellow Londoner now readies his 'Oooh' EP which comes backed up with a remix from Feel My Bicep affiliate Hammer.
Kiwi's sound is one defined by positive, kinetic feeling - joining the dots between Detroit Techno, Soul and Balearic. With previous releases on Futureboogie, Life and Death and Moscoman's lauded Disco Halal imprint, he's garnered several accolades including reaching number #85 in Mixmag's Top 100 tunes of 2017 and sitting at #1 in the genre chart for a total of 9 weeks with his 'Orca' EP back in 2016.
Now - continuing on his ascent, Kiwi lays out a pair of rapturous, gooey House jams that lands right on time for the festival season. On 'Oooh' - Vocal lines swirl over a largely beatless backing track. A rich, balmy feeling unfolds behind synth chimes and layered delays which work together to form an irresistible summer DJ tool. 'Andromeda' then follows up and blends 80's soundtrack-tinged stabs with crispy drums and thick sub bass before being accompanied by a pulsating synth line that carries the track to a delectable crescendo. Hammer then closes things up with a somewhat hallucinogenic take on 'Oooh' with LFOs, analogue sweeps and blobs of acid bleeding together to cap off an altogether warm and woozy trip.
Berlin based electronic mainstay Marquis Hawkes has announced details of his second LP 'The Marquis of Hawkes', due out 24th August 2018. Ahead of this, Hawkes will release a new single featuring acclaimed UK soul singer Jamie Lidell on the 20th July. The single, entitled 'We Should Be Free', features, alongside the low slung but melancholic original version, three reinterpretations of the song, remixed by Hawkes himself. Both this, and the essential previous single from June, 'Don't U', which featured the vocal talents of Ursula Rucker, will appear on the forthcoming album in an extended version. The album will be the producer's second LP for us, following his critically acclaimed debut 'Social Housing' for the label, which was released in 2016. Entitled 'The Marquis of Hawkes', the new album adheres to a specific sound palette whilst still displaying eclecticism across its eight tracks. Opening with the beat-less droning ambience of 'Beton Theme', the album takes in a variety of themes from across the house music spectrum, from the deep and dubby meditation of 'Instrument Of Thought' to the body jerking rhythms and retro bass stabs of 'Tough Love', the introspective mood of 'The Matrix', to the soulful New Jersey styled House grooves with a contemporary twist of 'Sunset', building through the optimistic joyousness of 'Hope In Our Hearts' before closing with Lidell's heartfelt and passionate emotional overload on 'We Should Be Free'. First emerging in 2012, after being sought out by Glasgow label Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, and having previously been heavily involved with the free festival sound-system culture, the London born artist's iconic sound has taken shape with the influence of music from cities like Chicago, Detroit and New York alongside the UK's underground house scene.
With both depth and clarity of vision, Marquis Hawkes' second album for Houndstooth expertly hones a shining hybrid of classic slamming house and grittily soulful optimism, making for a career-defining piece of work.

Part 2 of the EP kicks off with 'Domino' a track that's bassline drones underneath its own distinctive synth line to keep the drums rolling along steadily. The title track 'Black Leather' is everything you would expect in a Drumcode record; a subtle throbbing bass line which, keeps the track moving before the synth stabs enrapture the track and twist it into a dark, throbbing composition.

The foreboding title of Anthony Linell's latest EP doesn't come as an unnecessary warning. If you're inclined, 'Alienation From Self' presents a stern collection of tracks that thrill and bite in their severe austerity. For the less inclined, the machine-precise claustrophobia might just signal that it's time to leave.

With his debut solo album, Italian producer Ness proposes 10 variations on an additional notion of trance through music, which he has chosen to name as Trancemigration. Levitating on wide sonic vistas, spiralling on fluid, rippling melodies, pushed out on propulsive basslines, these vessels of the soul we call our bodies experience, then, the nature of Trancemigration. An unfiltered expression of Ness ´s will to use the music as a vehicle for self-improvement and evolution, in the clubs or under wide open skies, a vision of the undefinable moment of letting out and passing through, an embracement of the gift that is the moment. The brilliantly beguiling R-Zone series hits release number 20 with another genre defying four track EP by no one knows who. As always, the music looks backwards to go forwards and frantically blends breakbeat, rave, acid, house, electro and techno into wild new forms. The Geometry of Shadows kicks off with a flurry of pinging kick drums, rushing synths and smeared chords that manage to be physical yet serene at the same time. Chrysalis is deep Detroit style house with gurgling basslines and warm future soul synths extending off into the cosmos. Ship of Tears then races through the galaxies as asteroids, shooting sci-fi synths and glassy melodies all fly by in enchanting fashion, Acid is buried deep within and the drum programming is busy and direct. The Parliament of Dreams closes things down with more haunting celestial pads and cold acid lines that are all backed by boom-bap breakbeats. It's dance floor euphoria of the highest order once more.

You gotta jump on this tune. There's no denying the driving bass line that drags your body into the sound. Being the moving power, this solid "bass-plate" gets built up and down by bright highlights and jumping tunes. A little fatalistic roaring, some swirl here and there, yet every sound feels right where it should be. It is a playful but not at all naïve conglomerate of home made, easy going techno sounds, reminding you a little of back then, but first and foremost letting you groove right now! Easily, yet resolutely, you get carried away by the catchy beat that is pushing forward both tracks "Stata" and "Ticket" on the first RELAX 2000 release in 2015. A perfect restart to just relax and enjoy some fresh, real good techno tune!

A chance encounter at university during the Acid House summer of '88 and subsequent bonding over Baby Ford's 'Oochy Koochy' established a life-long friendship between Leicester lads, Jimi O'Callaghan and Al Green. Inspired by the sounds of Detroit, early NY House like Murk and Masters at Work and the emerging UK sounds of LFO, Orbital and Aphex Twin, the pair began DJing and making music as The Wild Geese. Their first EP, 'The Wild Geese EP', was released in 1994 on their own Giddy Goose Recordings imprint. The guys pressed 500 copies and, with Jimi's connections made interning with Pete Tong's FFRR, sold copies direct to London shops. The record sported packaging designed to look like an American 12' and an accompanying press release attributed the EP to a fictitious DJ duo hailing from Wisconsin. Rave reviews followed and a distribution deal was struck with Vital UK, who produced and sold another 500 copies worldwide. Another EP followed a year later. Sadly, plans for a third EP on the label never materialized, but the pair remain close to this day. 24 years later we are honored to reintroduce this genre-defying, uniquely forward-thinking EP to today's dance floors.

Baxter and Barnett, creators and founding members of FOUR313, now have a second FOUR313 release and this time out the dynamic duo unleashes a well-rounded, four track vinyl EP. Side A has two songs produced by Blake Baxter with A1 being a Detroit house styled tune titled 'Agape', featuring Blake's classic, soft-spoken word style. A2 is a party starter, big room, dance-floor filler appropriately titled 'Let's Get It Started'. Side B has two tracks produced by Thomas Barnett with B1 aptly titled "Mandela Effect', this is a Detroit techno styled track with Barnett's signature bassline sound. B2 is titled 'Magnetofunk' & has a vintage feel that uniquely transforms into a modern day, prime-time groove, a must have for DJs. Blake And Thomas are setting their sights on touring as the DJ unit "FOUR313" in the Fall of 2017 with the theme & tour name, 'Reconstruction'. Their concept is one which supports new artists and incorporates them into future FOUR313 releases, FOUR313's purpose is to come together as artists, to reconstruct their past, present, and future while building a new beginning.

In those times of newfound experimental conformity, it is sometimes needed to go back to simplicity. This may be where DJ OIL is leading us to. You think you know what you can expect but common ground is not always in your head, it is sometimes under your feet.
This is the second 12' of the BREF AVENIR collection (to be released digitally later this month), our Southern activist using well-known tropes and samples to provide necessary confusion.
TELEPHUNK is nothing else than a monster breakbeat funk (away from the new Lynn Collins dictatorship), unfashionably cool if you see what we mean. If PARESSE is its twin dark sister, locking electro in its black music roots whilst remaining strangely 'European', then FALL is its downer baggy brother.

Nummer's long awaited debut LP marks the 10th release on the Going Good label.
Needless to say this one's been in the pipeline for a while and we're super happy to announce it's imminent arrival.
Comprised of the duo of Emmanuel Corre and Silvere Letelier, Nummer have surprised and impressed many with their fresh take on the last 20+ years of dance music. Inspired by the deepest strains of Detroit, Chicago, New York and their native France the pair have tapped into something that few artists manage these days - an original style. This sprawling 2 x 12" touches on many of these cornerstones but never apes anyone's sound or vibe, forging their own path into the cosmos and beyond. Machine music with a beating heart is central to the 'Second Sight' atmosphere and Nummer's character as producers. This is the deepness.

5 years since Midnight Shift's first release in 2012, the label assembles a collective of artists, most of them are in advance of their full EPs releasing later.
Representing the sounds of the label is this manual of secret moves, up in the sleeves. The mystic motley crew also comprises the alternate sides of familiar faces — Amato (The Hacker), Terry Lamborgini (Marco Bernardi), INNYSTER (Seixlack), Hodge in a new formation with Gramrcy, and an electro moniker from an undisclosed artist: Thermocline. From abstract acrobatics to the abrasive and the ultimate gob smack to the floor — The Midnight Manual.
The 12th Release from GIANT RECORDS is from BASEMENT UK - Abian Saavedra and Brando Morales are two young producers that hail from the Canary islands and both
have a massive love and respect for the early UK HOUSE & GARAGE sound - hence their name. Their track - GANGSTA - lends itself to the above mentioned sound and
could surely stand the test of time among those early classics and it reminds us of an early Grant Nelson Nice&Ripe groove, Wicked swinging drums and hats that all sit comfortably on a low sub bass and spoken word jam.
The next mix of GANGSTA is from long time Giant favorite TOM GILLIERON - Tom's mix is dark and twisted with hidden layers that swell and grow through the track - his mix
builds and builds with a subtle use of the original vocal which then turns into a trippy late night slice of dark magic - Tom's sound is 100% on the button on this mix EXCEPTIONAL !
The following mix is from long standing Tech-House master - JAY TRIPWIRE - Jays mix takes us on a 303 Acid ride into a heady state of affairs, twisting and turning the dial
until the point of break - a serious peak time killer.
The last mix falls on DAVID HOLNESS - keeping the essence of the original but adding more punch and a heavy weight bottom end and sweet Techno pads - that will sure to
rock many a dance floor. Vinyl only - 200 pressed and hand stamped and numbered

Welcome to the dark side. Where chaos is the constant, distortion forms the standard and frontiers are built out of opaque shadows. Mumbling voices are hunting you through a maze of creepy synthesizer sounds. Welcome to Antifuse. With their latest release, the Berlin-based duo NERKKIRN are following their path of experimental techno sounds, this time leading into dark shades of whirring electronic sounds. By creating a gloomy, yet groovy tune, Antifuse builds up a perfectly conductive path within the unique sound system of Snork Enterprises. Like a mysterious rollercoaster, four versatile tracks are pulling you into a vague ride through various spheres of electronic sounds. Starting off with high speed into the deep and gloomy mines of underground techno, Dipode unfolds its dark side in full blast. Moving forward, Antifuse chases you upside down on a roaring bass line merging into Electronichangover. There, in a reduced atmosphere of sound, subtle tunes still forcefully keep pushing you through an odd darkness until everything, then, flows into a slight glow at the end of the tunnel - Reversebias.

Setaoc Mass' fourth record for Figure displays a level of maturity an artist this young rarely inhabits. Two tracks feature his ability to craft finely layered IDM, showing another perspective of the ideas behind the cavernous techno taking up the rest of this EP. Nestled between the electronica-pieces is Torque, heavy yet undeniably beautiful with its big breaks towards ascension, moving effortlessly despite its weight. Things turn serious on the flip side, bursting with bleeps and bulging beats. B1 is a slowly swelling beast with many heads, twisting and turning ceaselessly along its 6-minute runtime, never once letting the tension decline. Spiraling inwards for a full-on mind trip, Search Lights is that key track to drop in the murkiest, darkest hour of the night, one that cuts through relentlessly and unites whatever is left of the dancefloor for one last frenzied commotion.

Biotop proudly welcomes the Spanish master of machines, Eduardo De La Calle, for his debut Biotop EP. Eduardo is well known for his countless analog releases on labels such as Cadenza, Mule Musiq, Be As One, Planet Rhythm, Mental Groove, and his own delicious imprint, Analog Solutions, to mention just a few. Biotop boss Patrick Zigon is a big fan of De La Calle's music from the early days, so he's honored to extend the Biotop family with this exceptional artist.
"Hyde Numbers" is a typical De La Calle EP featuring multilayered masterpieces built on Eduardo's unique analog studio rig. The first two tracks, "Hyde Number 1.34." and "Hyde Number 8.47." are uncompromising driving techno tracks built on hypnotic chords and roaring synths with rousing snares and effects, ready to destroy the dance floors of dark techno clubs worldwide. In contrast, "Hyde Number 66.4." convinces with its melancholic pads and lush deepness; the clever disharmonic approach makes its beauty more than special, and it was already featured on Patrick Zigon's exclusive mix compilation for the 15th anniversary of the legendary "Macarena Club Barcelona", released in October.
"Hyde Numbers" is out digitally in November and on vinyl in early 2017, complete with delicate mastering by Werner Niedermeier, full analog vinyl mastering by Kotec (KTC Mastering) and with a beautiful cover design by Ninaj Noori.
Just a few months after its first release, Nitsa Traxx comes back with a very special 12'.
The project started with a file exchange between Eduardo de La Calle and Ferenc. They decided to work each track on their own side using only a few isolated sounds from the other. This way none of the tracks could never be treated as a full original, but proper remixes of tracks that never existed, building an uncanny, almost dreamlike emotion.
A Side is for Ferenc's 'Parón Largo', where synthetic strings are omnipresent and time and space unbends, evolving to an anticlimax where an eerie vocal and the longest possible drop are the leading trademark. A never ending and emotional standstill that goes deeper than the Mariana Trench.
Eduardo De La Calle uses his distinctive signature sound in the B Side. 'Cloaking Tech D Fly D' is an obsessive yet beautiful track that reminds us of the Somewhere in Detroit series. This is a mental and heart-warming tribute to the Motor City sound that just a producer like Eduardo could do.
Next releases are on the corner already, and we can't wait to share them with you.
A year on from Luigi Tozzi and label head Dino Sabatini's collaborative Manticora EP, Outis return with a striking, singular solo work from Tozzi. Ecate EP sees the Roman producer bringing three distinct slices of techno, each with its own set of subtleties and the crystal, adept sound design that defines Tozzi's work. Spanning the A-side is Ecate. This title track is rolling and hypnotic, with muscular, percussive bass. Throughout the track, angelic chords come and go, washing the listener in euphoria. Alongside, we hear a disorienting melody, grounded by the lightly swung four to the floor kick that gives this track an infectious groove. The flip opens with Leto, which immediately defines itself as a club track with an unbroken but evolving set of percussion and a weighty kick. It's around this kick that other elements build. We hear long, ringing, resonant string sounds, and a bell like melody morph and unfold as other percussive components come and go. The track falls away into atmospheric eeriness, which perfectly sets the stage for the EP's finale. Esperede's swung, panning drums give it a disorienting feeling of otherworldliness from the get go. This is before you're greeted by an alien, slightly dubbed out melody and a hanting backing drone that feels like a reference (perhaps in opposition) to the angelic chords of the EP's first track. It's on this closing track that Tozzi's delicate, expert sound design best shines through, and really has to be heard to be understood. Len Faki is ready to share another batch of his personal secret weapons, this time giving away three floor-focused edits, starring a pair of Russian producers Philipp Gorbachev and Nocow. First up are two takes from Gorbachev's recent LP, a throwback into the rave scene's heyday. featuring anthemic synths and even front-row vocals by Polina. The catchy album opener gets rigged with a solid fundament and peak time-friendly bpm, while similarly sumptuous cut Lazer waltzes through Faki's tested and well-proven percussive layers. Boasting massive low-end impact on the flip, the Hardspace Mix of Nocow's K$$$$ hits a special spot, mixing heavy bass, IDM-grade level of detail and Ghetto-ish vox into a unique and heady power-blend. As with all releases of LF RMX, the proceeds of this record will be forwarded to the Berlin organization Straßenkinder e.V. to be used in actions against child poverty.

Following up on his exceptional 12 debut Numb (Figure 73) earlier this year, Seatoc Mass delivers another EP of finely tuned and highly diversified techno deep space explorations. Starting on an atmospheric note, Cipher's intricate melody winchingly twists its way under your skin while airy breakbeats faintly hint at the producer's UK roots. In contrasting fashion the bleep- driven Lost Lakes sticks to its metronomic stomp, making for a simple yet utterly effective tool. Choral howls and detuned synths merge on Transform for a gentle yet trance-inducing introduction to the flipside. Emotive highlight Rain then sees the Manchester producer sonically recreate a thundering storm, complete with flashing strokes of lightning and a downpour of celestial scale. The breakbeat returns on closer Flying Buttress, albeit now at much faster tempo, exploring the common ground between futuristic grime and techno. Blending all these different styles and their distinctive tropes in a coherent statement is a feat not easily accomplished. Yet here Seatoc Mass pulls it off again, developing further the confines of both his personal and the label's sound.

The third 12-inch record by Native Response is here. NR003: Ornithogallum EP by Human Space Machine. This time the record's significantly more focused towards the dance floor, blending functional techno grooves with cosmic synths and arpeggios.
Human Space Machine is part of the Native Response crew, and makes his debut release on the imprint. On remix duty this time is the almighty Eduardo De La Calle.
A1: DRMSH1. This one-take jam immediately encapsulates the sound of Human Space Machine. Strong impressive techno that takes on a hypnotising quality and remains classy and controlled at the same time. The live tweaking of the lead synth and hi-hats make it sound like you're in the middle of a tripped out liveset at 5:00 AM.
A2: SFR5. This record starts off with a strong percussive groove and equally hypnotising bass line to lose yourself into. Neatly developing into a classic sounding Detroit record, the pads and polyryhthmical arpeggio are guaranteed to make you forget whether you're clubbing for hours or days. Halfway a pushing hi-hat makes everything downright party. Club killer, killer club track.
B1: RN2GLM. A haunting pad slides in, confusing the listener and setting a dark but inviting atmosphere. Playful drum machine patterns start grooving together with a sensual bassline that's sure to create a mayhem in the club. The lead synth creeps in and opens up, showing you that weirdness doesn't have to give in to functionality. One for the more daring DJ's that choose to explore instead of stay safe in the standard techno dogma.
B2: RN2GLM - Eduarde De La Calle Response. Do we really need to say something about Eduardo Delivering a monstrous techno banger, Eduardo De La Calle remixes RN2GLM as a giant closer for Native Response's third release. Starting off with a raw sounding bass drum, haunting pad sound and percussive synth groove, the remix grows to absolute peak time drum machine madness. Must have for every closing DJ.

Mental Overdrive, Norwegian gran ol wizard of techno, owner of Love OD Communications starts of with 'Clocked', a colorful and moody track with a touch of grittyness. Thomas Urv, Ploink Label head and one of Norwegian techno's main protagonists, brings a signature raw high energy techno track '6.24 Con Dao'. Per Hammar, Swedish producer and DJ based in Berlin, the captain behind Dirty Hands and 10Years labels delivers a steady dubbed hypnotic house track 'Blank Space'. Thomas Skjaerstad from Trysil, Norwegian winner of Burn Residency 2017 finishes the EP with a punchy, dark spaced out techno track titled 'Space X (Sommeroya Edit)'.
The rising London based label is quickly defining his own and unique sound laying down the law with another live jam recorded 4 tracks release by his own boss DOTHEDU.Following the success of the first release, Senseverse Records has came back with Lost Acids EP, a rough lost minded trip with an unusual sense of refinement. The producer lets the trip's curtain rise with Lost Acids which takes us to a gloomy hidden place on the edge of the house and techno roots with a banging 909 and crescendo 303 which dives smoothly into the background own producer's voice, Colombine Acids explores the happier stage of the trip and keeps the sound on the thin line in between the 2 genres with his fat kick and the flying and clashing crashes.
The B1 throws us right back deep into the dark with a slowed down and mentally twisted remix by the very well known producer Florian Kupfer. Finally Early Acids rings down the curtain's trip with some fine classic house music sonorities that lead us to a dreamy and dancy closing.

Era' is the first track of a new era for Agents Of Time (as the title might suggest): strong analog sound, lead by the classic AOT hypnotic sequencing. Dungeon' is a further step in a dark and obscure world: strong bassline, powerful drums and magnetic synths to mark the uniqueness of this track. Rebellion' is where the Agents have pushed their own limits, for the most aggressive track of this release: a perfect combination between techno and psychedelic atmosphere Lower World' looks forward: jazzy and acid composition, the perfect closing for the EP.

Serge Devant returns to one of his favoured label's with his White Groove EP, delivering a pair of deep, textured tracks that'll vitalise any rigid dancefloor. Archie Hamilton makes his Crosstown Rebels debut and supplies a punchy, tripped-out revision of lead track, White Groove.
White Groove is an absorbing mix of rumbling sub bass, soft, textured percussion, and ethereal pads. Loose percussion and a tough kick carve out the initial vibe on Connect To Server. A hypnotising, low-riding synth is the final layer and helps generate even more groove into this peak time roller.
Archie Hamilton switches up White Groove, revising the bassline into a buzzing, forward pushing rhythm but retains the mystical feel of the original, bolstering the whirring pads and using intricate percussive sounds and FX.
Serge Devant hails from Brooklyn, New York and released his seminal track Fearing Love in 2015 on Emerald City. Since then he's been championed by Damian Lazarus, a firm favourite on both Crosstown Rebels and Rebellion, whilst also receiving plaudits for his releases on Knee Deep In Sound and Circus Recordings. Moscow Records, Moss.Co and Arkityp owner Archie Hamilton is one of the UK's most promising talents, consistently releasing high quality house and techno on the likes of Get Physical, Fuse London, 2020 Vision, Fear of Flying among others.

We present to you a disc signed by Paulie Jan that allies Power and Emotion, Tension and Sensuality.
Carried by two remixes from electronic music references Cassegrain and BLNDR.
Vinyl comes in squared quadri sleeve.
Matt Karmil, Pional, Marc Piñol and Dandara shed a new light on Slowciety's previous record: Guru. Guru Remixes opens with a mesmerising and brooding interpretation of the self-titled by Matt Karmil, recalling the raw textures of the UK-producer's LP. Pional's remix comes next with a powerful treatment of Elephant, once again proving the dancefloor expertise of the Madrid-based producer. He delivers the shamanic experience from the original track and pushes it forward with soaring percussive elements & beats layered on a 90's-esque emotive pad. Marc Piñol opens the B-side with a groovy remix of Guru, described by the man himself as a 122 BPM after party tool. A heady bassline loop, as well as dry & twisted sounds beefed up by Karmil's work on the
mastering, lead the remix to a hypnotic ride, pure and efficient. Last but not least, Swiss producer Dandara brings his tribal touch to the sensual Utopia'. A slow melodic dancefloor piece which smoothly closes this third record.

This time, their guest is the famous irish producer Sunil Sharpe, another figure not known to make any compromise... He delivers two severe cuts of techno and electro full of raw energy, with a sinister vibe reflecting the dirty clubs and warehouses where this music is supposed to be played.

German producer Christian Burkhardt teams up with fellow countrymen Chris Wood & Meat for a three-track release on Jamie Jones' Hottrax this May.
Burkhardt has been flying the flag for minimalist electronic music for a decade now, releasing on labels such as Cocoon, Oslo and Pressure Traxx. Likewise, Freebase Records founders Meat + Chris Wood have been purveying deep and minimal cuts individually since the '00s, joining forces in 2009 before releasing on labels like Desolat, Housewax and Tiefschwarz' Souvenir. Between the three of them they've continually garnered support from the upper echelons of House and Techno, making regular appearances in the sets of names like Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Väth, Seth Troxler and Jamie Jones.
Intricate percussion and a compelling bassline make up the foundation of 'Closer 2 U' as an echoing vocal and tense strings operate throughout. Meanwhile, 'Plain' is a more downtempo cut in comparison with its dusky atmospherics and distorted spoken word samples that subtly permeate throughout the mix. On the flip, 'Trumpad' is deep and dubby whilst integrating trippy synths and mesmerizing effects for a rhythmic conclusion.

After a liittle hiatus of 2 years the label which was formed back in 2013 by the founder of the ground breaking hedonistic undergound parties Bohemian Grove of the industrial city of Manchester is back. The label will be bringing all kinds of electronic sounds mainly from the reaches of the cities industrial smog but some reaching further around the cosmos. This time we have debuting artist DANE WEAVER with his first release on the label.
"This takes me back! 1991... Joe, Damo and I used to hit every Biology at the docks. We were young and skint, but somehow managed to always make it to the rave. We were so up for it! The vibes were sick... good music... best mates... and the ecstasy... mannn those little fuckers (Damo from Carlton north, if you ever listen to this on here, hit me up brother!). I'm a family man in my 40s now but this music takes me back to my 20s, I close my eyes and I can still feel the rush, the heat of everyone crammed into those warehouses and the huge, stupid grin on my face.'

Fierce Detroit influenced soul drenched techno by label boss Jose Cabrera.
German techno mistress Klaudia Gawlas delivers yet another strong release titled MANIFEST including a remix by prolific Scottish producer Edit Select.
The EP maintains a steady flow which builds upon the producer's dark and hypnotic grooves.
It begins with MARGIN which seems taken from a chase scene of a horror movie and sets the upbeat and tense atmosphere of the EP. Edit Select's special touch on MARGIN's remix fascinates with its synth soundscapes and adds a more atmospheric and dreamy feel to the original track. MANIFEST picks up where MARGIN left off, with its heavy bass and rumbling drums. Closing track ADDITIONAL creates an even darker vibe with the distorted vocals and the haunting explosive bass and lead lines.
Packed with dancefloor weapons MANIFEST is set to be released June 8th via Hungarian techno imprint Blackrod.

Not content with already steering the Vigenere and Oscillat labels and appearing regularly on Will & Ink and Lazare Hoche, Malin Genie has launched his own self-titled label as a vessel for his most intriguing twists on the house and techno template. The record strides in with the tracky tones of "Hypothetical Island Of Stability," a feast of micro pops and squiggles strapped to a rock solid beat. "Fudeoroshi" is more overtly minimalist in nature, using the barest of ingredients to make a potent dancefloor cut. "Bulbocavernosa" opens up the filters and lets a little nasty acid fun and games into the mix, and then "Mer Neith It Es" rounds the record off with a soaring slice of melodic, deep techno that stands confidently apart from the rest of the tracks.

Moderat are back. With "Reminder" they blend the spacious, highly emotional sounds of modern electronic music with timeless songwriting. Two powerful remixes from Special Request aka Paul Woolford and Answer Code Request take the track to very different dancefloors. Paul Woolford is one of the truly great British DJs and producers. As Bobby Peru he developed a strikingly raw, unexpectedly physical House sound. Lately he caused a stir as Special Request, taking the relentlessly thumping breakbeats of the early nineties to present dancefloors. In his "Special Request Rework" Woolford recreates the song with a highly determined, imperious bass drum, saving the vocal for an even more effective appearance in the break of the track. The looped breakbeat and precise sound splinter from the original version, giving the track unstoppable, trashing energy, making it equally indispensable for Bass Music and for House Music DJs.
Berlin's Answer Code Request is one of the artists on Berghain's label Ostgut Ton. Pursuing the opposite approach from his British colleague, Answer Code Request does not develop his remix out of a groove, but from the atmosphere, the emotional realm of the track. Artfully orchestrating shreds of Apparat's voice and a series of striking hook lines and synthesizer tracks, Answer Code Request creates one of the most pronounced Techno tracks of this season.

Senso Sounds collects together two of the key tracks from bossman Oliver Huntemann's new 'Propaganda' album for this 12 inch release. Senso has established itself as a key label in the techno scene and Huntemann's ear for quality remains as sharp as ever. 'Rotlicht' is a precision-honed instrument of techno weaponry - hard as nails and featuring epic and mind-bending breakdowns. Additionally the Egyptian DJ and producer Raxon reworks the track into a deep and solid groover with plenty of attitude. 'Poltergeist' is a journey into Huntemann's feel for sound design and space in a club context, beguiling with its seeming simplicity, before hitting home with shifting, evolving grooves and haunting synth blasts. The young Russian Maksim Dark adds his own interpretation of 'Poltergeist' to the release, edging up the darkness a little more and producing a growling, tough techno workout that will go over big on a lot of floors this year.

Monologue is a brand new label founded by the AltaVoz creator Max D. Blas and the producer and Kosmophono label owner Alex Piccini, that comes out of the blocks firing on all cylinders thanks to an essential EP from Ryan Crosson.
Crosson, of course, has long been a part of the Visionquest collective, as well as having his own esteemed back catalogue wth releases on labels like Minus, Mdrnty and Brachtune. The Detroit artist is always evolving, and here shows us his grasp of elastic groove and freaky atmospheres is as strong as ever.
The title track is up first, What State I'm In featuring Cari Golden. It is a high tempo, high intensity track with slick and quick drums and hits and molten sci-fi melodies all racing along and taking you with them. Golden's vocals are hurried in the mix to add extra freakiness and the whole thing really sucks you in.
Dumb Dancin' is up next and is eight minutes of loose limbed and liquid minimal techno. Claps bring funk, the drums are restless and infectious and subtle vocals are like whisps of smoke that come and go to add real steam to the groove. Wonky synths blurt out at the mid-point and are sure to blow minds when heard in some darkened club.
Guti is a long time South American talent with ties to Desolat and Be As One amongst others. Here he remixes the original into something more pumping and heads down, a driving track for the dead of night. All in all this is a fine way to kick off what is sure to be an essential label.

Zodiak Commune Records continues the Insectum serie with a brand new EP from Acidupdub called "Longhorn Beetle". He specially made this 4-tracker in various styles of techno and acid.
A1. War of The Worlds
This track is a perfect dj tool. Very nice progressive acid techno floor filler with heavy energy on the 303 patterns. This beat goes on!
A2. Coffee Spliff
A mysterious opening on this one. The punchy kick will make a perfect minimal techno track out of it. Let the dreamy atmosphere take over.
B1. Dark Summer
On the b-side you can notice the energy is building up. The reverb on the acid sweep creates lots of space around you. High quality acid techno.
B2. Zodiak Prophecy
He ends this journey with an uptempo acid techno piece with a dark progressive touch. The delay on the 303 glues the whole track together. This prophecy is fulfilled.
Alex took his first musical steps by studying piano and guitar at the young age of 6. His fascination for the more outlandish, experimental side of each instrument corrupted his lessons and sent him down a modular synths and tape loop composition wormhole. Years later Alex resurfaced, got himself clean and, through connections made while spending time as a vocal audience member (and sometimes uninvited participant) at Lyman Woodard, Phil Ranelin, and other Tribe- and Motown-linked gigs in Cass Corridor during the mid-1970s, spent time as a session musician for Earth Wind and Fire, Chic, and Prince. It was only toward the mid-90s he found himself enthralled by the techno and house sounds of Detroit and Chicago so he went into the woodshed and came out firing electronic salvos.
Initially described as 'superlative 25th century electronic exotica' by Cowboy Rhythmbox themselves, the fourth EP from Phantasy's in-house trouble and hitmakers received support from top jocks including Dixon, Jackmaster and Marcel Dettmann. Now, it's dynamic lead track is rejigged, expanded upon and shot through with analogue energy by two equally inventive producer pairings. Fellow outsiders on the inside of the house of house, Israel's finest Red Axes take the first turn, coaxing the cosmos out of the original and allowing the bewildering vocal samples to lead the way through waves of more than pleasurable cosmic tension. Soon, with the timing just right, feet to pedals and strobe to hand, the pair unleash a series of distorted guitar licks that blow dust off the stacks, even throwing in a sharp blast of their trademark surrealist vocals for extra freaky FX. On the flip, Marvin and Guy zone out and hone in on the original's EBM-indebted elements to contribute a trippy, wave-riding electro rework that oscillates irresistibly. Teasing listeners with a playful, almost naive synth line, the mood shimmers instead with uncompromising acid, as the pair ultimately push the modulars into strange and hypnotic territories to get lost in.

German Affair release its first EP on Set Theory Records, DRO', an EP composed by 5 tracks that goes from acid to techno, from idm to the darkest electro music.
The producers based in Barcelona (Iñakito & Derobla) explore their own sound identity through two songs that show the confrontation between guitars and industrial and rawest side of electronic music.
And this journey, full of reminiscences to cult bands like Kraftwek or D.A.F., is reinterpreted with the three remixes that are included in DRO' and that signs Komatssu (one of the names of Tensal - PoleGroup ), Pedro Vian (Modern Obscure Music) and Isa.Bel (Femnøise).
DRO', EP that will be released at the end of May, contains 5 tracks created with analog hardware, full of tints that give it an organic and evolving character to the German Affair's techno discourse, a message far from the obvious.
A bet directly focused on the dance floor.

Dekmantel is thrilled to announce an exciting new project by the impeccable Robert Hood. Over the course of three different EPs and an album, the Detroit legend presents Paradygm Shift. Hood: ''The idea behind Paradygm Shift is similar to a shift in our focus. We can become so complacent; we are so comfortable with our surroundings, I think this is the time for electronic music to find a new mindset.''
The Form Lockers EP kicks of the series with great anticipation. Two tracks that have 'Rob Hood' written all over it: minimalistic beasts, bursting from energy and meticulously crafted by the hand of a master producer. 'Form' slowly but surely creeps upon you, a slow starter, but in the end the techno funk-finesse will roar like a Detroit car engine. 'Lockers' follows a slightly more melodic path, keeping the momentum by delivering body shaking, pulsating techno, deep and timeless just the way we like it. It's a pleasure to present you these two killer slayers, and there's more to come.

How much do you really know about Nina Kraviz She's a Russian techno DJ, an accomplished producer, one of dance music's breakthrough names of the last five years. True enough, but there's so much more to her story than that. She's one of electronic music's most interesting characters, someone who has stuck to her musical guns since day one, someone who has wide-ranging roots that run deep in the past, yet she's also the embodiment of the future. Her signature sound is a raw blend of house and techno with a very acidic feel. If that feels very now, Kraviz has a lot to do with it, which is why she was asked to mix the latest instalment of !K7's landmark 'DJ Kicks' series. The result is up there with the best in the 'DJ Kicks' back catalogue. It's a sublimely crafted set, deep and trippy, like you've tuned into a mysterious pirate radio station in the dead of the night or stumbled across a stream from an illegal party. Fourteen of the 30 tracks are exclusives from Kraviz's òðèï label, including three of her own: 'Mystery', 'IMPRV' and 'Prozimokompleme'.
'People probably know me for my Dance Mania-inspired, stripped down jacking groove style of DJing but the idea behind this particular mix was to create more of a trippy underwater vibe. A mysterious, sonic journey, inspired by the times I used to listen to late night radio growing up and imagine that all the sounds brought to me via the radio waves came directly from space.'
