Fabian Kempe's productions under the name of Korridor have consistently presented a foreboding and striking assembly. Previous appearances on Northern Electronics have taken in stuttering percussive works as well as tense minimalist designs. His debut album 'End of Cycle' applies a breadth of expression to a wide palette of mesmerizing and intense fit-outs that corrode and fortify in equal measure. 'End of Cycle' is born of a deeply personal set of experiences to have marked Kempe's life. Shortcomings and tribulations that have prompted spirals back to starting places and beginnings have informed the mood and missive that his debut album seeks to portray. Taking in themes that stretch from despondency to paranoid elation, Kempe has developed an architecture that lets austerity scream. Stark and synthetic ambient plains lead us out of conditions for communal experience, yet it's these passages that enable the sharp and brooding dancefloor works to deliver the barbed disturbances that they transport.

Persistence is back with the third release, a new split ep with Manuel Di Martino and the Italian duo Asylum with remixes by Johannes Volk and Jeff Rushin. The A side contains the original track of Manuel Di Martino called "Necessary Phase", engaging groove and hypnotic synth are the right adjectives to describe this track. Volk's remix is inspired to the New York Techno scene with stomp drum, raw groove and marked synth. Side B open with "Substance" by Asylum, this track contains dark and closed sounds, a real trip into shadows. Jeff Rushin revisits this creating a very functional tool, and especially the right mix of dark and dancefloor's sounds.

The incomparable Mark Henning blasts back on Soma with yet another dose of machine funk as he drops the Jaguar EP. Mark has consistently been one of Soma's top artists due to his amazing sound design and keen knowledge of exactly what make a top dance floor track and this latest EP really shows him operating at his highest level.

Mark doesn't waste anytime in getting down business with the elastic funk of title tack Jaguar. Classic drums and one catchy synth hook does the absolute damage on this opener. Ink brings a bit of Chicago style jack to the EP with Henning really working the percussive elements before letting loose with some screaming synth work. On Yes yes, Mark delivers the most melodic sounds of the EP so far, simple and effect percussion backs a extremely well crafted, bouncing hook. Closing of the EP is Atomic and Mark really picks up the pace with this one, definitely heading down a more Techno path. More direct and intensive drums keep the stride whilst subtle vocals, sequenced tones and raw sythn stab delivers the groove.

Henning has once again delivered a very diverse EP that straddles the boundaries between House and Techno perfectly, all brought together with his unique and altogether striking production

Mark Henning opens his 2017 Soma account with the ingenious Expander Six EP furthering his hardware Techno escapades.

Title track Expander Six harks back to classic 90s Techno with heavy beats, deep stabs and deeper vibes. Tides brings pure unadulterated funk as Henning drops some serious, swinging grooves. 1999 follows up perfectly with a more straight to the point club ready banger. The Dogs closes out yet another on point EP from the British producer which sees him upping the pace with some furious drum programming knitted neatly together by some superbly catchy synth work

Henning excels at blurring the line between House and Techno creating space for both in all his work, this well crafted EP typifies his style consummately.

Rebekah returns to the fold with her second EP on Soma, following her 2015 debut 'Confined Heart'. Staying true to her UK techno roots, the Berlin based artist delivers three monster cuts that exemplify her ferocious sound.

Title track 'Anxiety' has Rebekah firing on all cylinders as raucous synth sequences pulse through wild percussion, never seeming to let up and certainly taking no prisoners. 'The Riddle' continues with similar energy levels as Rebekah infuses pounding rhythms with straight up percussive elements, before taking a perfectly controlled dive into deeper elements - comprising short blasts of subtle pads that give a more emotive side to the track. '19 Grams' rounds of the EP with a little more subdued start, but in true Rebekah fashion, the pace quickly intensifies as shattering hi hats and saw tooth sequences blast in, effortlessly held together by beautifully gliding pads that give a perfect structure.

Rebekah delivers yet another excellently crafted EP that defines her sound as a producer and also a DJ.

The Leap is the new project of Dutch producers Tripeo & Doka who are now taking the logical next step in their musical journey and present an EP that touches on genres all across the electronic board. The Leap is about more than just music, which will reflect in the track titles. Current developments in the world take center stage and inspiration is taken out of politics, literature, media, (green) activism and much more.

The opening track 'Shock Doctrine' is a slow building yet powerful piece of gloomy, hypnotic techno, followed by the exceptionally deep and undulating 'Borrowed Time' that combines soft atmospheric textures with distinct fragile melodies and could easily be the soundtrack of a dystopian reality. On the flip side the duo showcases once again seamless production skills and with 'Green Capital' they set a nostalgic mood, a trancey journey filled with crisp hi-hats and snares, resulting in an effective techno tool. The mind bending closing track 'Sustainable Communities' creates dance floor tension with its piercing metallic synthlines & just like the whole EP it provokes the listener to think outside of the techno sphere.

Building on his very sexy works for the Borft weirdos, Jon Doppler's Security is a meeting of Sued's minimal funk sound and the post-acid house trip of early Rephlex. The elasticized acid of Ciphertext, the skanky dub of Wonwah, and the mammoth low end of Lag Down all propel from below, while the swollen synthwork on Hot Sauce and showstopping
MK650 inspire from above. These are late, late night jams that growl ominously in the bassbins, enhancing the foggy atmosphere and begging you to stay for one last dance.

"Swiss electronic artist Marco Repetto is the chromatic brain behind Bigeneric musical project and has a strong background in the burgeoning scenes of minimal synth (Grauzone with Stephan Eicher), early techno (Synectics on Aphex Twins Rephlex imprint) and ambient (Planet Love on Superstition).
After more than 15 years, Marco is now back with an entire 2x12'' Album on cult label Moto Music, the Zurich imprint where he released his first Bigeneric 12''. ""The Compilation"" is a huge recap of his lost and unsigned tapes between his probably most creative time as IDM artist.

Brendon Moeller has essentially spent almost everyday of his life since 1994 in a home recording studio. Through research and practice he has evolved into a prolific producer with 10 full length albums under his belt and dozens of singles and remixes. He has performed live and DJ'ed at Fabric, Berghain and Cielo and then some. His love of a hybrid of hardware and digital resources for production shines through. His music has been championed by the likes of Francois K, Speedy J, Danny Howells, amongst others. An eclectic sensibility stemming from a love of many genres of music is always evident in Brendon's work. - - - SSX represents the Silent Season 10 Year Anniversary Compilation, a series of 12"s celebrating a decade of deeper electronic music. The series features artists whose music continues to inspire the Silent Season journey.

Following on from Acid Jump, which was released back on the label in 2014, Russian-born producer Eskuche returns to Hot Creations with a club-ready solo offering titled Activator.

Speaking of the EP Eskuche reveals that the inspiration came after the Paradise closing party last year. Wanting to make something that would fit the vibe of the DC10 terrace, Activator was born. Eskuche's production style is apparent in his latest output. Title track Activator employs rolling drum pads and a low-slung beat. The bass rumbles on through B-side Pleasure Beat, displaying hints of acid, a prominent percussive section and an eerie, vocal hook.

Since his debut release in 2012, Eskuche has broken through the musical stratosphere. He's had releases on Nervous Records, Materialism and Mr. Nice Guy and These releases have garnered support from some of the industry's most prominent names including Marco Carola, Laurent Garnier and Maya Jane Coles. Last year saw his hit track Freaky Stuff played extensively on BBC Radio 1 and hit the top 5 spot in the Traxsource charts. The Ibiza-based DJ and producer looks set to end 2018 on a high with this release and a debut gig with the Paradise crew at The Brooklyn Mirage lined up.

Belgium based Fabrice Lig is nothing else than a phenomenon of techno music. The list of high profile imprints where he released his music, like Planet E, R&S, KMS, Third Ear and Playhouse is unique.
More than a year has gone by after 'Purple Raw Vol. 2' was dropped on Systematic and since all good things come in threes, it was only a matter of time until he would come up with his third instalment.
The wait is finally over and Fabrice returns with a strong 'Pure Raw

which has no other intention than making you dance through the night. This four-tracker starts with a driving edit of 'Gravitational Voyage' by Joris Voorn and proceeds it´s journey with three tunes full of raw percussions, bumbing sounds and unpredictable arpeggio synthlines.

In 1996, Gavin and Scott Hardkiss entered the San Francisco Tenderloin studio frequented by the Grateful Dead and Fleetwood Mac and made Acid Funk and various remixes. It's a funny song that references Frankie Bones' This Is Techno and Maurices' This Is Acid and says a lot about a couple of guys drunk on funk who wanted to flip their own sounds. Raw house featuring 808s, 303s and Space Echo churned easy in a whimsical psychedelic cauldron.

Unavailable for 20 years, these remaining copies of the original pressing feature various versions by bothe Hardkiss brothers and an acapella.

It all began about ten years ago in a basement in the heart of Rome; the story of a crew of people who followed a musical ideal and created an original sound and an unmistakable style.
After the return of Modern Heads with Outis 006 "Chapter II", memories once again led me to friends I made during the period of the first productions on Elettronica Romana, and I asked them for personal interpretations of the track "Beginning". From the youngest Claudio PRC to the veterans Donato Dozzy and Giorgio Gigli, all together on an amazing release.

This is the 3rd release on RIOT Radio Records, an independent techno label based in Scotland.Ingen is an Edinburgh based producer who's sound is one of harsh complex poly-rhythms and soundscapes that crosses over into the darker realms of techno. 

Over the years he's appeared on many respected labels and also works regularly on projects with some of the worlds techno elite.

For those lucky enough to see him battering out his stunning live sets, playing alongside such lumineries as Surgeon, Whitehouse and The Advent, these humbled few know exactly what extremes Ingen is capable of reaching to crush your senses into submission.

On this release, along with the original version of 'Haste Makes Waste', there are remixes of this beast of track by Lag, Martyn Hare, Paul Birken, Duellist and the RIOT remix (ingeneered by Taser), each one taking the original composition down a different track.

Having recently been remixed by Radio Slave, Ozel AB and FC Kahuna on Phantasy, James Welsh returns to the label with 'Zurich/A65'. Anoth-er expertly executed two-track primed for the club but infused with detail and sheer personality, it further cements his idiosyncratic and forward-thinking interpretation of techno, industrial and experimental electronic styles. Opening the EP, 'Zurich' takes an infectious, urgent bassline and gradu-ally expands into a weightless landscape. Slowly revealing it's rhythmic intent, it seamlessly blends a distinct melancholy with intensity, which, like the best of Welsh's work so far, is both wistful and physical. Appropriate to its namesake, 'A65' sets the scene by sampling the un-mistakable sound of speeding Yorkshire traffic, opening up a breathless musical autobahn, driven by luminescent synths that pulse with euphoria and energy.

A series that is set to explore a broad spectrum of electronic music, and aims to cross the barrier between the club floors and home listening. Three years in the making, this anticipated album chronicles the musical, and in many ways, spiritual coming-of-age of Jonas Korbl. Having started producing house music at a very young age, this debut album under his birth name signifies a new direction for the young Dutchman. In these pieces you hear him shaking off the restraints of formulaic working, opting for more experimental paths instead. You could say Discovered 5 is a story about learning about music; An expression of the author's experience in broadening his horizons.

In the full release Korbl presents nine tracks with a sleek and undeniably dark aesthetic, taking you from ambient soundscapes to main room techno and back, touching down in Berlin and London along the way. Downtempo excursions comfortably rub shoulders with rough-and-tumble club destroyers, but as varied and idiosyncratic as the album is, the music feels far from contrived. Instead, the variation keeps you engaged, with the quieter moments acting as a counterweight to the pieces with a more straightforward approach. Somehow he manages to make all these different places and moods uniquely his own.

The most remarkable thing about this LP is Korbl's uncanny ability to take familiar elements and bending them to his will, creating a new context for the listener to experience his personal brand of electronic music in. The adventurous DJ will surely find a track to create that special dance floor moment on the vinyl release, containing four club-ready tracks. However, for the full experience the entire album is a must-listen, connecting the dots between the highlights placed on the physical LP. All in all, this debut bodes very well. With skills and experience beyond his years, Korbl's star is sure to only rise from here.

Up next on the AdMaiora catalogue is an exclusive Italian project. Two young djs, producers and long time friends Nicola Calbi and Luky got together for 'Miami Force 89'. With releases on some of the most prestigious tech-house imprints, including 'Wow! Recordings' and 'Sanity', the fellow Italians unleash another powerful EP.

First entitled main 'Miami Force 89' is clearly immersed in the atmospheres of the late 80's. Unceasing female vocal loop meets tasty groove, hi-octave vibrato lead and a mighty kick and bass combination, making you feel like you're driving a supercar in the sunny East Coast.

The second original called 'Machine Gun' is a total gunpowder track, with a super-fat kick drum, aggressive vocal samples and rampant synths. Nicola and Luky go harder than ever, delivering a great tech-house stomper.

On the remix duty we warmly welcome Berlin hero Philip Bader and Italian duo Alfa Romero. The guys from Alfa Romero have already worked with Italian veteran Davide Squillace, and got remixed by Robert Dietz, Betoko and Snilloc. In their version of 'Miami Force 89' they go deeper and deeper, concentrating their idea in a long break which is characterized by touching brass, melodic pads and cinematic atmospheres.

Philip Bader closes the thing with the final track of the B side. He's been around for the last 10 years with appearances in almost the biggest labels such as 'Suara', 'This and That', 'Snatch!' and 'Moon Harbour' to name a few. His remix for 'Machine Gun' is pure killer material as he definitely adds fire on this one: since the beginning of the track, the heavy kicks and the harsh usage of the vocal parts turn the original into a military gear assault weapon. The gloomy groove and the grumpy synth-line do the rest, revealing once again the real raw nature of the track.

Get in the car, we're goin' to the Cirque Du Freque, starring Normal Ones, Deepchord, and Lost Lake. A journey from the murky depths to the boogie caves, from your pals at Make Mistakes.

On the A side, Deepchord crafts a driving, shifting, wall of noise. Melodic stabs and resonant fuzz coat a pulsing beat and

bass. Hypnotic and divine, Deepchord's take on the original is a potent, psychedelic tool for the late night warehouse dance floor.

The original shines bright, a playful groove with an undercurrent of menace. With that sweet, sweet growling bass, and tip-a-tap percs, skittering all about, Cirque Du Freque brings the dirty heat. Cirque du Freque carries an old school vibe, with modern sensibilities; a memorable jam for sweaty frantic, nights.

Every time the label features Lost Lake, he delivers an original, compelling dance floor jam, while retaining a warm, familial vibe. You'll know it when you hear it, as Lost Lake's pure electro funk works its way through your soul. One of those tracks you drop down into to relieve some pressure in the room, a deep sigh of release in preparation for the next round.

As always, Make Mistakes brings high quality and varied content to the table. Cirque du Freque is another versatile, high quality record, that any DJ can stick in their crate knowing it'll find a way to fill a special moment in any night.

As the second release of 2018, Skudge delivers two cuts of bouncing and straight forward leaning techno for the purists.
Quasi reminds us of the mid-90s US styled Techno from the likes of Synewave and even some Robert Hood tracks from that era, but optimized for the floors of today.
On the B-side, Parallel goes into familiar Skudge territory, with a brooding and haunting atmosphere - twisted up with some of that well-known funk that Skudge has been pushing for a decade now.

Second GOST instrument is made by Karelia's finest Sergey Suokas. The 'A" side titled "Reka Vremeni' (the River of Time in Russian) represents one deep repetitive techno story, carefully crafted with high attention to details. "B" side comes with a dubbed experimental groove. Limited 180g. 10'' coloured vinyl, hand stamped.

Acid techno and acidcore... that sucks !

Both KiNK and Thomas P. Heckmann need no introduction. Bloody Mary has followed their music for many years and the Melting Point EP marks the coming together of Mary with two of her most respected acid producers, all on the one record.

The heavy industrial crunch and rubbery synths of FRAK's trademark sounds come to Hypercolour with the four track 'Berga Magic' EP.

The Swedish techno trio have been active since the late 1980s, issuing cassette tapes (and later, vinyl) filled with blueprint techno and electronica on their own Börft Records label. Following in the footsteps of Severed Heads, D.A.F. and Devo, FRAK have truly embraced performance art and experimental minimalism over the years, never compromising, always innovating.

The 'Berga Magic' EP comes brimming with raw analogue explorations and delightfully incongruous noise.

Description: (199X) is a new record label from Reykjavík, Iceland but based in Copenhagen, Denmark focusing on releasing electronic music by Icelandic and international artists. Each release is pressed on high quality 180g vinyl limited to 500 copies, also available digitally. Each album cover has hand drawn artwork by M. Kristensen.

The first release on (199X) is from a musician born in Zürich, Switzerland who's name is Mateo Hurtado. For the last 2 years Hurtado has been posting tracks and live improvisations on Youtube and Soundcloud made with his modular and hardware gear as well playing all over Europe. This EP by Hurtado includes four tracks recorded live with heavy bass, dark-atmospheric repetitive sounds that make the perfect experimental ambient techno with minimal post processing.

OCAD is a label established in 2016 by Toke Klinke and Rebecca Broe that empahsizes high quality and originality in electronic music.

This is gritty urban techno reflecting on street life in Gotham City. On the A side we got the squealing and hissing grind of "Bloo N Red" followed by the sublime and broken house of "Ting Waan", absolutely loved this bittersweet and emotive piece. On the flip "Dyslexia" has that haunting and dusty attic jam style, much like fellow NYC hero Patricia and then "Earring", equally nailing that particular aesthetic too but with more of an industrial edge with its textured and metallic rhythms doing a fine job. 12" Vinyl 140g.

Catch Recordings return with their 13th release, this time from DJ Najaora. He's an emerging talent from the ever growing Techno region in Georgia who's mature, fully formed sound is showcased here across three innovative left-field Techno & electro tracks. The excellent 'Night Dreamers' takes the A1 spot. It's an analogue electro cut throughout. With forceful broken drums accompanied by electric lead lines that provide a powerful energy for the dance floor.'Space Call' is a more cerebral and less dance floor affair that has you day dreaming amongst the meandering pads and classic Detroit electro vibes. A soft acid line runs throughout, while the whole cuts creates nostalgia of old Warp Records.Last of all 'Simulaq' which takes the B-side has wide and vast rubber kicks alongside booming bass. Making this side a merge of Bass and Electro. Trippy stabs and dark energy pervades the whole thing, making it track for the late hours.
While 13 is an unlucky number for some, this certainly doesn't seem to be the case for Catch Recordings.

British producer Tony Scott joins forces with Buffallos infamous Mike Parker to deliver the duo"s first collaboration; Composites.

With Mike's unique sound and take on production it was quite a challenge to expand on his trademark, however what we have here is two producers who understand & respect each other's capacities to the extreme.

This is the first time any of Heinrich Mueller's highly sought after remodels/reworks have been compiled together. Many have been previously available only on limited releases and have patiently been awaiting discovery by a wider audience. For those who don't know, since the mid '90s Heinrich Mueller (Drexciya/Dopplereffekt) has been quietly amassing an impressive catalogue of these unique productions (currently about 40+) which completely transforms the other artist's track to his own exacting specifications. To the effect that there might be very little or nothing at all left of the original production. These 9 specially selected examples embrace all facets of his approach. First up is the ultra smooth and minimal 'Fadin' Away' by The Hacker from 2000, probably one of his most sublime and timeless creations. Then jump forward to 2011 when he serves up an infectious and sparse slice of robot funk for Albert van Abbe's 'NCS_0009121010'. By the time of Alek Stark's 'Halo 6' (2014) he's still got the dance-floor on his mind, but it's located on an alien or perhaps underwater world in some dimension parallel to our own. In 2009 he works for the first time with fellow Drexciyan traveller DJ Stingray and delivers the hard edged but still quite delicate 'Drone FX'. Jump to 2005 and he conjures the playfully disjointed 'P.O.M. (Time Dilation Mix 2)' for Duplex. In 2000, when he had a close relationship to the label, International DeeJay Gigolo, who were releasing Dopplereffekt and the first fruits of Der Zyklus, they commissioned him to make a series of groundbreaking mixes. On one of which he got to mesh his own futuristic vision with that of Stanley Kubrick on 'Dave' by Station Rose. The other closes this collection and is another of his most accessible works, with the best bassline, 'What Use' by the legendary '70s San Francisco band, Tuxedomoon. In 2011 he also produced a darkly atmospheric and relentlessly mechanical interpretation of DJ Stingray's 'The Sadist'. In 2003, another of his best production efforts, again aimed off-squarely at yet another form of mutant dance floor, came out of a total revamp of an untitled track by The Advent. Fittingly this was originally included on Recreations, an album where artists were invited to do what Heinrich Mueller does best.

Fünf Jahre nach seinem letzten Album kehrt Luke Slater als Planetary Assault Systems und dem neuen Langspieler Arc Angel zurück zu Ostgut Ton.
Auch nach 22 Lichtjahren erforscht Luke Slaters Planetary Assault Systems Raum und Zeit mit unterschiedlichen musikalischen Mitteln. Dem Leitbild des Projekts treu bleibend ergänzt Slater: "Musik muss sich für mich vorwärts bewegen. Ich würde mich selbst betrügen, würde ich auf erprobte und bewährte Formeln zurückgreifen". Für die gibt es gute Gründe, aber dieses Album folgt seiner eigenen Agenda. Mit Arc Angel bricht Planetary Assault Systems zu neuen musikalischen Grenzen auf, fokussiert sich auf Melodien, bleibt aber gleichzeitig in den puristischen Werten von Techno verwurzelt, die Slater selbst im Laufe seiner dekaden- und generationenübergreifenden Karriere mit definiert hat.
Während der Albumtitel wie eine Referenz an spirituelle Dinge daherkommen mag, verweist er eher auf weltliche Dinge - Religiosität ist schließlich ein Relikt der Vergangenheit. Arc Angel ist in erster Linie ein postmodernes, nonkonformistisches
Technoalbum, das Clubkontexte ebenso bedient wie Zugänglichkeit mit neuen melodischen Mitteln. Langjährige Slater-Hörer werden mit Arc Angel schnell warm werden, wobei die LP gleichzeitig den Raum für neue Hörer aufmacht. In der
Tradition von Slaters vorangegangenen Ostgut Ton-Alben - The Messenger (2011) und Temporary Suspension (2009) - versprühen seine musikalischen Motive polymorphe und außerweltliche Klänge, verwenden eine zeitgemäße instrumentale
Sprache, legen aber eine stärkere Betonung auf zugängliche musikalische Formulierungen. Bei diesem Album ging es sehr um Limitierung und um den Schwerpunkt auf den Begriff alternativer Melodien , sagt Slater.
Ich liebe Musik, die zu Neuem führt. Alle Stücke dieses Albums mussten diesen Test bestehen. Gleichzeitig wollte ich das Fundament dessen, was ich als Techno ansehe, neu verwurzeln und mich auf Melodien konzentrieren, statt einen Track nur
einen Beat sein zu lassen. Ich verlagerte die Arbeit am Stück vom Beat zu den darüberliegenden Frequenzen, gab diesem Teil mehr Gewicht. Wie man einen großen, starken Beat baut, haben wir alle begriffen, meine ich. Ich möchte die Dinge aber gerne etwas voranbringen, nicht der Einfachheit halber abstrakter werden.
Obwohl Arc Angel als weißes Blatt begann, verlängert Slater seine sonischen Erkundungen, die man auf den jüngsten Mote-Evolver-veröffentlichten 12 es zu hören bekam - die No Exit EP (2013), Future Modular (2014) und The Eyes Themselves (2015). "Arc Angel" ist das folgende Album dieser Serie an Singles - Rückschritt und Fortschritt finden gleichzeitig statt. "Ich liebe Software, Hardware, Technologie, aber weil wir eine fast endlose Auswahl an klangerzeugenden Mitteln haben, trieb es mich nun dazu, mich auf jedem Stück mit begrenztem und limitierten Equipment auszudrücken. Tatsächlich war ein Einfluss die Art, wie ein Blues-Musiker ursprünglich eine alte Gitarre und eine Stompbox verwendet hätte, trotzdem aber sehr organische und beseelte Musik damit spielte. Der hat seine Gitarre, die Box und seine Stimme - Ich habe die 909 und 808, das waren seit jeher die wichtigsten Antriebe von Planetary Assault Systems". Das
Schreiben des Albums war entkoppelt von der späteren Produktion und dem Mixing in Slaters Studio @ Spacestation Ø, UK - was ein reduzierteres und flexibleres Setup zuließ und auch noch zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt Änderungen einzelner Teile ohne übergreifende Eingriffe möglich machte.

Während die zwanzig Albumstücke in gut 96 Minuten digital als Einzelstücke erhältlich sein werden, wird es Arc Angel auch als mixed 3-fach LP und Doppel-CD und auch als continuous Mix geben - was einerseits der intendierten Wahrnehmung
des Albums als auch Slaters Ethos als DJ Rechnung trägt: einen Ritt durch einen sich stetig wandelnden Moment nehmen.

Außerdem: Luke Slater debütiert Anfang August als The 7th Plain auf A-TON mit dem ersten Album der Chronicles-Serie, begleitet von einem 7th Plain-Set im Berghain'schen Elektroakustischen Salon. Kürzlich tat sich Slater mit David Sumner (aka Function) und Steve Bicknell als LSD zusammen - ihr gemeinsames DJ / Live-Hybrid-Set feierte soeben im Rahmen von Planetary Funk 22 Light Years Premiere im Berghain.

Robotron is the machine formerly known as Xinner. This is its first offering for the ESP Institute. Side A's Dream Resonator is an idiosyncratic network — dexterous machine drum/percussion programming, an ebb and flow of floating arpeggios, syncopated counter-melodies and a hail of stabbing stringscontinually diffusing into ethereal vapor — all stacked into an (aptly-named) orchestral anthem. Side B's Ice takes a similar approach with arrangement, each instrument carving out its place in the track's mechanics for a glorious convergence of patterns, but, where side A proves optimistic, here we sense a more menacing undercurrent, an austerity powerfully articulated through towering kicks and claps so compressed they fill up every dark corner of negative space. Indeed, Robotron has an innate command for building and calibrating robust systems, but beneath this calculated veil we find the remnant human behavior of Xinner. These two songs will whisper loudly but scream quietly.

Bedrock is set to celebrate its milestone 100th digital single release in superb style with 'Tracer', the second single from Emerson, Digweed & Muir - a collaborative project of the highest order from three of the scene's most respected creative mavericks, whose huge debut 'Fanfare' (Beddigi88) had fans everywhere begging for more. Enlisting Berlin's inspirational Watergate resident Ruede Hagelstein on remix duty completes the perfect package to mark yet another Bedrock landmark.

Rather appropriately, in its original form 'Tracer' is an unmistakably heavyweight, pulsating, peak-time monster, loaded with menacing, fizzing, energetic, celebratory creative abandon. Meanwhile, Darren Emerson's 'Womb Mix' develops 'Tracer' into an equally stunning, bombastic, stripped back, techno colossus, showcasing his supremely individualistic creative flair. In perfect juxtaposition to the trio's versions, the dialled-back, low-slung, brooding throb of Ruede Hagelstein's mesmerizing interpretation, bristling with unrivalled electronic detail, perfectly rounds what is an exceptional creative circle.
In this day and age to not only survive as an independent label, but to flourish and constantly evolve, bringing forward and developing new and exciting talent to stand equally alongside established household names, is something that should be applauded. The global respect and love that Bedrock has steadily gained through years of releasing quality dance music that rides the waves of trends and fashions is second to none.2017 has already seen a steady flow of exceptional Bedrock releases and there is so much more to yet to come.

So here it is vol 6, with 6 trax, yes 6 trax, hows that for value for money. Track 1 , kicks off the e.p with a monkey infused acid rolla from The He-Men ,aptly named Rolla, really deep acid rolling track for you head nodders out there , then track 2 comes courtesy of new family member Bufo Bufo, who already boasts releases on ritual poison and EGD, his track is a real four/four breakbeat extravaganza, moves along lovely with breaks and bleeps, very excited about this track and a very please to have him in the TDO family. DJPC returns with track 3, his track called danger man, and believe this is dangerous, proper old school sounding warehouse rave with wicked pianos and baselines .good to have him back. Then flip over and boom side B, hits ya with Dawl track party till the A.M , great advice and a great track from Dawl, back to his proper full on rave breaks and bleeps to kick off side B the way only he can. Then track 2 we welcome another new member to the TDO family, although he has mastered several e.p's and digi trax for us , this is the first track Craig Bratley has ever made for us, over the moon to have this man on board - Craig has earned a solid reputation from a series of curiously erratic releases, releasing records across the spectrum of electronic music on labels such as Futureboogie, Suara, Throne Of Blood, Bird Scarer, Tsuba, Instruments Of Rapture, Claremont 56, Leng, To Rack And Ruin and Is It Balearic and as well as his own Magic Feet imprint. The recent discovery of a box of old DAT tapes in a house move has allowed Craig to revisit some of his earlier attempts at making music in the 90's. The re-sampling and editing one of these tracks has provided the basis for Craig's contribution to Tone Dropout Volume 6, 'Back From the DAT'. From the DAT really is a hats off tip to the rave generation, thank you craig proper got this right for our label. Then finally track 6 , is bonus track , Tones Breaks part 2, a full on pow in ya face rave banger, a little feature we will be doing now on e.p's a nod to the legendary bones breaks of course.

On the third release on his label, Malin Genie teams up with Amsterdam resident and Will & Ink regular Yaleesa Hall for a trip into dubbed out techno and house territory. The EP opens with "Oganesson," an immersive track pivoting around gnarled, shape-shifting dub techno chords. "84" is a more energised cut, using a similar central melodic thread but driving it with a sprightly beat and playful threads of synth expression. "Tournant" places the emphasis on textural sound design, embellishing a rugged techno rhythm with sonic matter that takes on an organic quality as it pulses and writhes around the beat. "Coronal Loop" finishes the EP off with an appropriately star-gazing jam that uses delay and reverb to great effect to create a sense of space in which nimble chord lines and other flourishes can cavort freely.

Following his previous releases on respected imprints such as Optimo Trax and last year's remix of Romanthony's 'Give U Up' on Glasgow Underground, Jasper introduces his own label with two of his most ID'd weapons over the last few months, 'Crypto' and 'These Are The Beats'.

The lead track 'Crypto' is a hypnotic builder showcasing a new, musical maturity expertly applied to his own productions. Digging deeper into the house and techno sounds he has been playing around the world since his early twenties, his heads down production sound is inspired by deeper moments on the dancefloor, whilst retaining the energy his own DJ sets are internationally renowned for.

On the flip 'These Are The Beats' rolls out more hypnotic lead lines and drum machine rolls to further the themes established by Crypto, plunging the dancer into a deeper state of consciousness without forgetting the dancefloor energy needed to hold your attention in the early hours of the morning.

Everything is starting with the no-nonsense-Techno track TELESHOP which is designed for big room pleasures. On WO IST MEINE PLAYSTATION 4 things get a little more psychedelic without losing the straightness you need to get lost in the dance tunnel. CAIRO is a lesson in keeping goose bumps alive with its up and down galloping synth stabs. To cool things down, the Stuttgart based producer drops NIGHTCLEANER, a quietly starting Ambient affair that evolves into a little Acid monster.

The first release on Standards & Practices since the widely acclaimed remixes of Talker's 'Battle Standards' EP (by Surgeon / Regis / Broken English Club) from late last year, 'Live From Frankfurter Strasse' represents the first recorded collaborative effort from Jonathan Krohn (Stave, also 1/2 of Talker) and Jan Grebenstein (Downwards, Horo).

Culled from recording sessions following several successful improvised live performances in San Francisco, Los Angeles, & Berlin, 'Live From Frankfurter Strasse' is 3 tracks of seismically powerful, industrial dub music that represents a new direction for the pair and is unquestionably some of their strongest material to date.

The twitchy, pared-to-the-bone opener 'Alfa' is at once vast and frighteningly claustrophobic, recalling the brutal, clinical precision of Mika Vainio & Ilpo Vaisanen's output, with a brilliantly tricky arrangement that continually pulls the rug out from under the listener - it's vertigo-inducing twists and turns are simultaneously disorienting and endlessly hypnotic. On the flip, the brooding, scorched-earth 'Stirn' & 'Verstarkerstufe' work at a much slower tempo, uncurling like a plume of smoke with a spacious, cerebral quality that occasionally brings to mind early Gescom.

Vincent returns to Omnidisc with his second installment. You Wear A Human Mask But You Have No Human Soul is a dark house inspired driver paired with a Slave to your image which Drvg's more experimental side. Then he closes out the EP with his classic sound in Something Happening Somewhere.

The second release on Oktave Records is produced by Tokyo's Iori. The multi-talented Japanese producer and DJ has had his music released on some of the best labels in the business, including Prologue, Field Records, and Semantica. Iori's inimitable and distinctive sound has put his productions on turntables and headsets all over the world, while the man himself continues to extend his touring radius, hitting clubs and venues all over Europe and into the Americas. Oktave Records is proud to present his 'Circulate' EP.

The A side gives us 'Satellite,' a relentless floor-focused track, bursting with Iori's signature, looping sound he draws us into a hypnotic void and allows the listener to get completely lost in the polyrhythms so deftly layered on top of each other. 'Satellite' will mesmerize your dance floor.

The B side opens with 'Vortex,' which gives us more of that special Iori hypnosis, but this time we're carried along by a broken beat. Complex, understated and rhythmic, 'Vortex' is another stunner. The EP closes with 'Inversion,' an ambient track, which is an area of strength for Iori. He has long been producing compelling, cinematic soundscapes with his unique sound signature, and 'Inversion' continues in this tradition.

Iori has created a knock-out EP with 'Circulate,' and sets the bar quite high for the label.

The first release on Standards & Practices since the widely acclaimed remixes of Talker's 'Battle Standards' EP (by Surgeon / Regis / Broken English Club) from late last year, 'Live From Frankfurter Strasse' represents the first recorded collaborative effort from Jonathan Krohn (Stave, also 1/2 of Talker) and Jan Grebenstein (Downwards, Horo).

Culled from recording sessions following several successful improvised live performances in San Francisco, Los Angeles, & Berlin, 'Live From Frankfurter Strasse' is 3 tracks of seismically powerful, industrial dub music that represents a new direction for the pair and is unquestionably some of their strongest material to date.

The twitchy, pared-to-the-bone opener 'Alfa' is at once vast and frighteningly claustrophobic, recalling the brutal, clinical precision of Mika Vainio & Ilpo Vaisanen's output, with a brilliantly tricky arrangement that continually pulls the rug out from under the listener - it's vertigo-inducing twists and turns are simultaneously disorienting and endlessly hypnotic. On the flip, the brooding, scorched-earth 'Stirn' & 'Verstarkerstufe' work at a much slower tempo, uncurling like a plume of smoke with a spacious, cerebral quality that occasionally brings to mind early Gescom.

»sichten« refers both to »opinions« as well as the »examination of material«. in lose sequence, we will invite friends and colleagues, but especially music lovers to share their opinions on music with us or to look through their collected materials in order to present music that tends to be out of the focus of current media channels. as a label for electronic music our focus is on examining exactly this genre. but in the context of the series, we are rather looking for more hidden, unknown, perhaps forgotten music. we want to present the yet undiscovered, and also offer a platform for other cultural environments with different musical approaches. each issue will be supervised and compiled by a curator. an introductory text shall explain the ar- tistic approach of the respective curator. in this sense, the format of a double lp can only provide a first insight and wants to invite to a more in-depth research. for the first issue of the series, »sichten 1«, we asked frank bretschneider to compile his own, very personal selection of current electronic music. his choice fell on six artists, whose different styles me- ander between accessible music on the one hand and very abstract compositions on the other hand.

Evod Music is glad to welcome Binny and Dj Surgeles on its limited catalogue. The English dancefloor killer and the Dutch sci-fi master fused perfectly together on this split EP. Organic by Binny is a perfect tool, thanks to its mesmerizing acid sequence, masterfully fused with powerful drum patterns and hypnotic drone raids. Missing Link is another killer tool, perfect for a dance floor full of people. Its old school sound and the various changes make this track a must have. The B side is managed by Dj Surgeles, with three outstanding sci-fi tracks. Science Fiction contains a randomic, spaced out sequence blended with heavy drums and various drum patterns variations. Commander Pete is the most Millsesque track: in this piece there is a real space ambience, thanks to a its far pads, the electronic ringings and bleep sounds incursions that create a constant suspense, broken by the interruption from an astronaut radio message. The EP is closed by Message To Earth, an ambient outro that fits perfectly with all the other tracks.

Dutch producer and live act Conforce is back with 'Autonomous', a fifth artist album and the latest in his long relationship with Delsin Records. Conforce is Boris Bunnik, a producer who explores the deepest realms of dub, house, techno and electro under many different names. His Conforce alias is where his most club orientated material comes from and this new nine track album finds the Transcendent label boss producing dark syntheses inspired by his hometown and harbour city, Rotterdam, and its automated industries. A masterfully conceptual album that really paints a vivid picture of a harbour as heard from deep down in the depths.

The 5th release of Dalmata Daniel is the first Budapest-based banger EP, which presents three original tracks from Norwell and one remix by Imre Kiss.Norwell was engrossed in kosmiche musik and house, while he found his own sound and made some albums on Reckno, Seagrave or Cleaning Tapes. After all he hasn't stopped yet, rather, he has started to discover the dark side of club music and converted his own sound into electro. The result of this new beginning was the 12-inch 'Death of a Star' on Pinkman in 2016.Now 'ODD EP' is the next level: much deeper into the darkness.'Arabian Nights', as the title suggests, is an electro-orientalist-exoticism, like an ancient dangerous night in the desert. However, from the second track, we are in the future: in cold dark space. 'Outer Delta Dynamics' is the launch rocket, followed by 'Celestial Bodies', which is a cruel and desperate fight in time and space.Imre Kiss has started with dreamy lo-fi sounds on Farbwechsel, then he improved his music in house and techno on the next two EPs on Lobster Theremin. But the banger remix 'Crisis '91' is a pretty new thing in his music. This cool jungle rework perfectly matches the whole atmosphere of 'DD005', even if the style is somehow different.The last curiosity of this EP is that all of the tracks were born in Szemlohegy, which was actually a coincidence (or maybe fate). Anyway, this place above the city might have had a common influence on the tracks: they have exactly the same vibe.

For the next installment on Darko Esser's Balans imprint the Dutch producer Tetelepta brings his slick, laidback tech house vibe to the label with 'Waiting For The Flash' EP. 'Waiting' opens the EP gently with a crisp, hypnotic groove and half way it turns into a beast of a tune sure to move any dancefloor. On the flipside 'Flash' opts for a more tribal sound, with a dreamlike, slow burning melody that builds up to a trippy frenetic rhythm.

International Deejay Gigolo Records presents its second remix package from the single "I Want U" of label boss DJ Hell. The original get´s a new twist with the reinterpretation of Darren Emerson. His own view on the track has a high intense energy and a pumping upfront attitude. French techno head The Hacker reworks his own remix and gives it a dark & playful 2018 facelift.

Alan Fitzpatrick is one of the men of the moment speaking of all things techno! Since his first steps into the arena in 2008 he turned into one of the most wanted producers around. His releases on labels like 'Quartz", 'My Favorite Robot' and especially on 'Drumcode' brought him on par with the first line of international techno producers and DJs. So we are more than happy that the man who rocked 2013 xxl will be the featured artist of our next release on Cocoon Recordings. His tracks 'Memories Of A Time Once Past But Long Forgotten' and 'Truant' are two real techno highlights that follow the basic vibe of the his last releases. Deep emotional techno full of warm chords and analogue basslines merged with cool beats to get that special Fitzpatrick vibe. Music for dancefloors and living rooms at the same time, charismatic and dynamic! Alan Fitzpatrick is not just another name to be watched. Die erste EP von Answer Code Request auf Ostgut Ton. Patrick Gräser hat schon in vergangener Zeit durch Releases auf MDR und seinem eigenen gleichnamigen Label ACR für viel Furore gesorgt. Seine Debüt 12' für Ostgut Ton startet mit - The 4th Verdict' und zeigt eine klare Richtung. Die hämmernden Beats im Kleid des Sägezahns oszillieren den Sound des Stücks nahezu perfekt. Die sanfte Dramaturgie des Pads und der spätere Ausstieg der gebrochenen Beats im Break ergänzen den Rest. Mit - Ghostes' geht die Ansage weiter. Ein Klang, der seinesgleichen sucht. Die mystische Stimmung, durch Kombination der Drums mit den träumerischen Synthis, lässt den Namen ideal geeignet erscheinen. Fast unglaublich wie alles in perfekter Konjunktion miteinander schwimmt. Der Abschluss der Breathe EP lässt paradoxerweise keinen platz mehr zum Atmen. Der Titeltrack startet mit dem mächtigen Synth, der sich wie eine schraube durch das Lied zieht. Trance lässt vom Soundcharakter grüßen. Erst wenn die Beats aussetzen darf man Luft holen.

His unyielding tracks as Cleric proudly wear their Manchester heritage on the sleeve, and this bold EP makes no exception. Conrad Van Orton debuts on Attic Music for the 15th installment of label. 'Hypersomnia' is a collection of haunting techno tracks that sit on the darker side of the genre's spectrum without loosing it's dance floor appeal.

The 4 track spanning record opens up with the title track ''Hypersomnia'' though techno sounds that revolve around a train-like whistle that repeats throughout the track's poignantbuild. ''Green Eyes'' is an intrusive piece of work that closes down the A-side with it's intense synth works.
On the B side we find ''Iteration''. This growling piece of music has an almost live sounding quality to it. ''Ending Point'' is the toughest piece of work of the record which revolves around a fierce bass sound and a potent drum work.

Psychoskunk are back a new vinyl series of Error Etica This first Section Roots serie included are 3 original tracks of the label's owner Victor Martinez (Error Etica) and special rmx by R2pi.
R2pi is a eight-hands project born from the organic fusion of three Italian techno projects Retina.it (Nicola Buono and Lino Monaco), Prg/M (Pier Giuseppe Mariconda) and Ruhig (Luigi Cicchella).
This new project is a triangulation of three Parthenopean energetic elements that through several different paths have decided to build a perfect "quadrature of the circle", a holistic ensemble where their souls are still distinguishable though.

PI02 is the contribution of the Serbian duo, Ontal, to the Pi electronics series. The EP delivers 3 original tracks and a remix by the legendary duo Orphx from Montreal, Canada. Expect hard hitting percussions and stormy bass lines; like Boris and Darko on their nastiest and most destructive day. Orphx reinterpret PI02.1 with an exceptionally produced remix offering an industrial-noisy flavoured beast to greatly compliment the three original tracks. Pi Electronics returns with its second release and new faces in the label's growing roster.

There was a time when to die was something slightly different from what it is today. Back in the last days of the middle age, some hidden monk was concerned about how to die properly, according to the catholic standarts of that era, so he wrote a book that was a cornerstone in that period.
This has been the leitmotiv and ispiration in the concept that drives this album, the Ars Moriendi book from 1415, a book that gave some clues about how to die properly, avoiding lack of faith, despair, impatience, avarice or spiritual pride, all those actually track titles in this compendium.

Album starts with Impatience a short atmospheric drone sets the path to post industrial mayhem, based on a continuous and obsessive metallic sequence that drives the angst over a dirty rhythm workout until the textures go on top after several bars.

Rules of behaviour breaks the beat into metallic hits as starting point, then more percussive layers add to the main beat until the dark pads take over mixing hate with beauty on a grey canvas.
Despair return to adrenaline, icreasing the tempo, running unstoppable on a relentless sequence with skeleton beats as a driver.
Speculum acts as a sequel from the first track, same sequence different rhythm, extending the anxiety feeling but with a cleaner groove, again a few elements make everything run smoothly no fillers, just tension.
Lack of faith keeps on with the beat as fundamental component, based on a cemented kick and breathing components that grow during the running time.
Avarice returns to harsh kicks and martial sincopation having distortion as the main element until Fm percussions shine on top.
Spiritual Pride is the adrenaline shot in this album, obessive dry sequences, harsh kicks and razor hats in a direct floor burner.
Closing the travel, The search for identity goes underwater: cavernous landscapes and absence of brightness with a pulsating sub frequency doing the low end, while drones and obscure sound design make the rest.

For the Mapuches or "People of the earth" the forces of good or "Ngnech" -meaning life and construction- opposes the forces of evil or "Wekufe", representing the destruction and death.Through their ritual ceremonies, they seek to balance of these two dissimilar energies.
The nguillatun, the great ceremony of supplication, is high on all these ceremonies.
During the ceremony dances are performed accompanied by various prayers.
This first release, Suyai, has 3 tracks from Rehue (Auca + Zedje) emerged from a joint work between Madrid and Buenos Aires. The remix is an incredible work from the french artist, Von Grall. All the tracks mastered by Neel.

Clear Vinyl

SØS Gunver Ryberg, Aïsha Devi, Rrose and Paula Temple are the four artists collaborating for Decon/Recon #2. The new record will be released as limited edition vinyl and digital on 16 January 2017 on Noise Manifesto. In this collaboration series, each artist has produced a track from all the artists' sounds, yet the release credits all four artists equally on all four tracks. It is a symbolic act for reducing hierarchy, ego attachment in identity, preferring instead to shift the focus towards affinity. Paula Temple describes the bond in this second collaboration as "Every artist in this release approaches their creative energy particularly connected towards a more shamanistic mindset. When you listen to the progression of their music, it feels like the physical and mental realms we accept as reality and function within are being stripped away. Maybe that is weird to say about underground dance music, but I find the journeys each of these artists take you on are very exciting in how they affect you.

With a brimming catalogue of music that operates in the more adventurous quarters of the techno music genre, A Sagittariun preps his first release of 2018, with a remix disc of one the Holy Grail of tracks from one of the most endearing electronic acts of the 1990s. The Sabres Of Paradise, AKA Andrew Weatherall, Gary Burns and Jagz Kooner, released a clutch of acclaimed albums, singles and remixes between the years 1992 and 1995, when the trio disbanded. Three albums for Warp, remixes of The Future Sound Of London, Leftfield & Lydon, Bjork, New Order and The Dust Brothers (AKA Chemical Brothers), and not forgetting the now legendary 'Smokebelch II' single, which must have soundtracked hundreds of thousands of sunsets and chillout after hours over the years, have left a huge treasure trove of a catalogue as part of their legacy. One production though has gone down in Sabres folklore, since its release was limited to inclusion on one multi artist compilation CD album only, and it is this track, 'Lick Wid Nit Wit', that A Sagittariun has unearthed, licensed and re-moulded, 25 years after it was produced, for release on his Elastic Dreams label.
