Hot on the heels of In.Toto's inaugural release late last year, label owner B.Traits comes out of the blocks with another brace of tracks on the single 'Basic Scenario / Breathe Out'.
'Breathe Out' displays a definitive love of classic techno tropes; basement room bouncing beats and shuffling, bristling hats delivered with urgency and a slickness that has become a hallmark of her productions over the years. Chopped up vocals are pressed through the effects mangler, puncturing this driving techno cut laced with essential 909 rides and flanged percussion.
On the flip, the rubbery and pounding drums of 'Basic Scenario' is just as strong; the dense and reverberating beats providing the perfect vibes for a Berghain or Tresor sweat soaked session, as rising synths and frenzied hand claps produce a real element of drama, ramped up with B.Traits' own vocal monologue, suitably twisted by FX to polish off a well rounded and energetic club cut.
With her first In.Toto release selling out of its vinyl run within one day of going on sale, things are looking very promising for the BBC Radio 1 DJ's label, set up to offer a platform, not only for her own music, but for like minded producers and artists she has admired and promoted on her show and in the clubs. 2017 looks set to be a busy year for the label, so watch this space....

On Paranoia, Oliver Huntemann's prowess and versatility as a producer is evident, from the space age minimalism of 'Magnet', through to more melodic, upbeat productions such as 'The End', in which warm sounds resonate through the listener.

Mesh-Key is thrilled to present this mind-bending solo album of electronics and vocals from legendary Japanese musician Phew. Phew's career began in the late 1970s as lead singer of Osaka punk group Aunt Sally (whose only full-length was released by Vanity Records in 1979). Ryuichi Sakamoto produced her debut solo release in 1980, a two-song single, and in 1981 Pass Records released her debut album, a bonafide masterpiece recorded with original Can members Holger Czukay and Jaki Liebezeit at Conny Plank's studio in Germany. She has forged a singular path over the past thirty-plus years, collaborating with folks like Anton Fier, Bill Laswell, and Seichi Yamamoto (Boredoms). It's borderline sacrilegious to compare an artist as unique as Phew with anyone else, but for those unfamiliar with her work, 'Light Sleep' might be described as a more animated Nico singing (in Japanese) for early Suicide. Prepare to be floored.

Dark Sky return with two highly effective techno tracks featuring dark and roaring basslines at the center, the London duo leave no doubt that they haven't lost any of their acclaimed production skills.

"Kilter" is a rhythm-driven club anthem, featuring a sweeping bassline that nods to classic Dark Sky, while on the Bsdie, "Acacia" opens with ethereal synth pads before giving way to a onslaught of low end goodness before slowly revealing building percussion which finally climaxes in all its thumping glory.

The resounding intensity of Christ Figures is layered with emotive and staccato melodic elements. At times distant, and then rising to the forefront of the soundscape, in their more muted moments these elements only hint at the form of a melody, their restraint heightening the track's sense of melancholic romanticism.

On the other side, Sigha advances on the themes from the track Puritan on his 2012 album Living with Ghosts. New Puritan offers a similar hypnotism, with an untiring interaction between mid-range and bass that demands transfixion from the offset and retains it until the end.

I actually wouldn't be really surprised if this Anthone act was the mysterious musician behind the "Larvae / Pupa / Adult" first series on this imprint, for the three track of "Aloof" carry the same sharp but encompassing combination of dub techno, darkish glitch and dubstep bass. Potentially club-friendly, but very rewarding to the active listener who takes time and dives into this EP, here's a piece of wax which undoubtedly comes from Berlin and manages to mix well some of the most typical sounds of this city. "Anthone is the Weevil Neighbourhood's marquee artist. The exact identity of who Anthone is, however, a mystery. They, it, he, she, them, have only delivered quality for the label so far, beginning with the three-track Aloof from 2012 that features a sinisterly abstract piece of rave called "Rebound". Somehow it's cheerily atmospheric while being heavy as a truck at the same time. The label's next release was Anthone's more serious Double Dub / Clear View 10", with both tracks sounding like the internal movements of giant weevil bug that's been built out of scrap metal and controlled by an evil little cretin from a Jean Pierre Jeunet film." "Sawa's techno is infused with a dank energy, like it's being taken over by the undergrowth with every passing bar. Static and hiss blanket the empty space, and the percussion crawls in uneven formations. More often than not the effect is tinged with horror, as with the resonant shrieks of "Augur" or the unsettling death knell of "Black Sugar." "Phenomenon" comes closest to conventional techno, but still drags its feet with every lunge. "Another highly limited vinyl release on Berlin's Weevil Neighbourhood, with a musician from Kyoto called Katsunori Sawa. He's one half of the duo Steven Porter (the other being Yuji Kondo, not Steven Porter) and here he has a classic 12": white vinyl, four tracks, 45 rpm. Just like the good old days and the music is great too. It continues what we heard on the previous release by Steven Porter: minimalist dance music, not too fast (mid tempo this is called, mid of what I always think), repetitive with the use of sound effects enhanced. Delay machines like a fine dub record, yet this ain't dub. Rhythm plays a central role obviously, and sounds here not too dissimilar to Basic Channel/Chain Reaction of a decade ago (maybe it's about time for a revival, I thought) combined with a more abstract side of the axis Porter Ricks, Pan Sonic and Goem, topped with a dash of field recordings. Does that make any sense these days It's a pity I am not a DJ, I thought. I wouldn't mind this kind of stuff for an evening. This record by Sawa would certainly make it into the mix. The State of the World E.P. brings you 4 new tracks by Philippe Petit. Appearing develops a positive tone through layers of heavy bass and a deep 808 kick that finally blooms into a warm synth line. Expanding exults happiness thanks to its multiple layered bleepiness, aiming to put the listener in a state of trance. Shrinking is a hard hitting percussive affair, whose relentless beats, driving hi-hats patterns and claps take you into what can be seen as a neverending downward spiral. Disappearing rings the alarm with a 132 bpm fury of pads and subtle acid, but it might already be too late...

Following a storming barrage of kicks and whistles on "I'm alright mate" via south-westerly label Timedance, Lauded sonic explorer Bruce settles on Hemlock and kindly offers a trio of exotic and rare tracks.'Before You Sleep' is a glimpse into the delirious vacuum of thoughts and weariness induced by habitual insomnia. Lethargic and leaden, the hollow kick drum casts a solemn meter punctuated with blasts of spectral resonance all set against an eerie distant chime. Each pulse weighs deeper as the temperature drops and atmosphere thins. Then it appears.
Cleansed with a lullaby melody floating towards the inevitable dawn, the scene is gradually swept away leaving but a hollow for the new day's air to fill.'In Line' is a scurrying, pneumatic dance spiked with a punch of sparky leads amid pressurised snares and percussion. Never quite settling, frustrated, twice reset the rhythm steadies and we begin to synchronise.
'Sweat' is constructed in plain sight using concurrent bands of symbolic frequencies, each melding together to forge a self-sufficient protective network. Ancient geodesic blueprints inform the design, bolstered by a microscopic workforce of nano-fx and half-drops. Once this would have taken centuries to complete, thankfully we now have the technology and co-ordinates to establish contact before the next wave arrives.

Zenith Positions is a 4 Track collaboration between Modularz label owner Developer and Italian producer and Repitch label owner Ascion. The two producers worked apart in their studios with a similar concept and idea to create a special ep fusing together vintage synthesizers, retro futuristic ideas and funk influenced rhythms with a modern feel. The ep as gained some strong support from all the major DJ talents worldwide. T

Mystica Tribe, the dub tribal master from Tokyo, drops his 5th EP and it comes with a superb Chrissy remix. Taka Noda aka Mystica Tribe returns to his own label, Mystica Tribe Records, with this banging 4 track dubby techno-ish bomb. It's deep dub all around on titletrack Jade Eyes, with the trademark Mystica Tribe melodica lifting the spacey, catchy oriental inspired melody. The Chrissy remix of Jade Eyes is a dubby disco party banger, instantly ready for the dancefloor. There are two more dub beauties on this EP: Love Light and Nightbird. Both tracks drive on deep melodies with Nightbird having beautiful oriental influences. It's the soundtrack to a Japanese spaceship crashing into the desert, its passengers getting picked up by passing nomads, ending up in a smoke filled oasis with palmtrees and belly dancers. Essential stuff for dub heads.

Niko Marks exists at a musical intersection where Stevie Wonder and electronic music collide. Born in Detroit and raised by a family of musicians and singers, Niko was taught chord progressions by his mother on the piano and learned the rest by ear. He took just one music class along the way. It wasn't long before Marks' genre-defying path — and ability to sing, write, produce and play — would link him up with the next wave of Detroit techno.
In the early 1990s, Marks was working under the same roof as underground luminaries like Juan Atkins, Eddie Fowlkes, 'Mad' Mike Banks and Jeff Mills. As Underground Resistance established its iconoclast status, Marks joined collaborative production team Members of the House. On Grand River Avenue in the shadow of Cass Technical High School — Detroit's de facto producer of legends like Donald Byrd, Dorothy Ashby and Ron Carter — Marks was helping produce the Motor City's latest musical exports all before he could legally rent a car. It was almost like a revived Motown for electronic and dance music,' recalls Marks. The freedom of electronic music or dance music — I began to really get into that. You're not reduced to a traditional song format. You're more free.'There's no denying, however, that the traditional background Marks hails from sets his prolific catalog apart from the pack. Marks manages to bend those chord progressions learned on his mother's piano to his will today, creating a bevy of soulful techno and house tracks in his wake for labels like U2X Productions Detroit and Carl Craig's Planet E label. Starting in 1999 with his Niko Marks & the City Boy Players' release with Fowlkes, Marks has released new music nearly every year. As a live performer, he's found himself doing stripped down DJ sets as well as bringing his body of work to life as a jazz trio. The trio gives people something more real,

Alec Troniq, Sonntagsmusikant and Tinush deliver their great remixes on
top. While Sonntagsmusikant holds the striking theme first a little more
covered and comes along even more minimally, Alec Troniq with a stylish
variation of the subject rocks more offensively forwards. Tinush adds with

A Sacred Geometry continue their label releases with Chapter III, a collection of tracks that are soft, serene and yet captivating. On the A side is 'Atheres', a track that takes over the entire space, building different sonic structures over the rhythm. 'Nineveh' is more hypnotising, with a sonic groove and a rising synth that move fluidly through the track. The B side is formed of two parts: 'Earendel (Part 1)' consists merely of a pulsating drum and high hats, with whispers of notes only beginning to form towards the end. 'Earendel (Part 2)' continues this but with more structure and tenacity, the beat becomes heavier, the melody more focussed. Collectively and individually the four tracks encapsulate the label's ethos and style, marking Chapter III.

Gunnar returns with 'Scale No Flam', his first 12' single for the label. Scale No Flam is both a love letter and a demonstration of why he can't stop getting lost in the sound. According to Gunnar, 'acid is just one of those things that creeps into your life and consumes everything around you - a psychedelic and textural approach to music that is simultaneously intense and smooth.

While acid has come to be defined by the Roland 808 and the 303, the hardware alone can't define the feeling, and Gunnar believes 'You don't need a 303 to make acid, you just need an open ear and an open mind.'

After getting Mike Servito, Justin Cudmore, Derek Plaslaiko, and Bryan Kasenic all running to the booth to see what the fuck was playing at various times when Gunnar was dropping the unreleased 'Scale No Flam' in his DJ sets throughout 2016, we had no choice but to press it to vinyl. Gunnar tells us he was playing around with trying to replicate the bass line of Heaven 17's 1982 classic 'Let Me Go' when 'things kinda mutated.' The A side is completely Gunnar's own with a dominating acid line providing the backbone to a flangey work-out that is simultaneously totally crazy and totally logical. On the B side, fellow Brooklynites and co-members of the Hot Mix DJ crew, Mike Servito and Justin Cudmore add their perspective with a remix that draws out the hidden angular funk.

Raw Waxes' sixth release 'One Man Army' features Irish techno artist Lee Holman offering a four tracker obsessive pack without compromises. The record is the second installment of a new series of vinyl releases displaying German illustrator Benedikt Rugar as artwork designer. The record comes in a transparent sleeve with an additional non-credited insert by Rugar representing the imagery of a 'techno ants' marching army going to war against Man.

Techno veteran Jens "Lowtec" Kuhn drops the first release for new Malmo label BlundarFrom the loud tape hiss, spooky melodies and weirdo ambient dub intent of "Track 2", to the moody, early Autechre throb of Skam-ish closer "Track 4". Dancefloor-minded thrills come in the shape of hypnotic opener "Track 1" - all unsettling, one-note chords, restless rhythms and distant electronics - and the hard-to-pigeonhole madness of the schizophrenic "Track 3".

A new reissue is coming from Merv. Two old and lost tracks, dating from '95 and '98 will be reissued by Styrax in September. While DeepChord in America, or the Thule crew from Island have been inspired by the Basic Channel blueprint sound coming from Berlin, a small group of artists tempted to push their own interpretation. Full of energy, strongly cauterized in mind, wanted to get rediscovered.In the year 1995 'Melted Vein' arose. Hypnotized, slowly but full of strength it became back to the theme. Merv educed their own variation, their own soul. You can hear their further development in the track ' Dust', from 1998. Pads and melodies, from different galaxies, mixed with ascending chords, kept together with the 909. Two tracks, two epic tracks, the pure Merv magic! Both have been re- mastered at the traditionally Berlin Mastering Studios D&M.

Spaced Out Bias Hammers.

This record collects many intimate things and singular ideas about Voiski, it is also an excellent synthesis of his musical style, and how it is evolving towards a more and more unknown territory, where his "post-trance" idea collides classic Detroit influences, 90's techno (with that Underworld cover obviously) and a very unique sonic identity he has developed playing his synths with a bright and powerful sound design, and rich arpeggios.

YPY is the work of Osaka based Koshiro Hino. Having recently released on labels such as Nous, his own label BirdFriend, and the legendary EM records Koshiro now presents the 7 track LP '2020' for Where To Now Records.

The LP leads with the slow building, off kilter title track '2020', where flurries of eastern horns skitter beneath evolving layers of wonked yet beautifully balanced percussive movements, coming off like a technoid homage to the fourth world works of Eno & Hassel. As is the case with much of Hino's music, as the piece develops it takes on heavier and heavier modes of experimentation and excitement - turbines whirr and fizz alongside layers and layers of percussion, constantly teetering on the edge of No-Wave breakdown whilst never losing sight of the rhythmic backbone, recouping from every moment of collapse with total grace.

Hino swings from this cacophony of rhythms on '2020' to the playful, straight-laced ghetto tech burn of 'Soup', using layer upon layer of low key jazzed melody and percussion to gather pace and momentum, showing another side of the YPY palette with a deep groove and melody indebted to the work of Carl Craig as Psyche/BFC and the like.

Hino creates a musical world that veers from the frantic to the sublime seamlessly and appears to ground his interest in the potential harmony of these two states - or more specifically, how the two can exist in a way which keeps heads down and bodies moving in a dancefloor capacity whilst challenging the listeners expectations at every turn. Whilst obviously this is not a new concept, it is Hino's own historic steeping in experimental drone, improvisation, and his work with his intense, hypnotic, minimalist psych outfit Goat which allow him to hold a unique position in this electronic realm.

Yusaku Shigeyasu (Juno Plus) further conveys this aura of Hino's work in a YPY feature piece for Juno Plus, writing - 'Intensity is a common thread that runs through all of Hino's sprawling productions. It isn't necessarily synonymous with a boisterous, forceful sound. He eschews conspicuous structures or overt arrangements and brings a sonic potential out of sober materials, creating deceptively stark pieces with a dramatic impact that capture and hold the attention from the off.' - Yusaku Shigeyasu / Juno Plus

Hino's more rockist influences are perhaps most pertinent on 'Ash' which embodies this improvisational and stark approach to rhythm. 'Soup' is a doomy, sludge hybrid of fizzing electronics and stoner swagger, owing as much to contemporary artists such as Earth and Om, as it does to the first wave of Japanese and German experimental psych of the early 70's. It's a piece which is unlike anything else on the record, a vital piece of the puzzle when understanding where Koshiro is coming from, yet leaving no clues as to where he is going.

Through ten-year-experience, CRIME RECORDS is now coming to life in the Salento area (Italy). Mainly based on electronic and techno music, CRIME RECORDS is an indipendent, eco-friendly and strictly old-school label.

The project comes from an idea of Ilaria Mazzotta and Matteo Ria and it aims to spread music only and exclusively throught vinyls and by two realeases every year.

The first release collects the music by the DJs animating the Crime Festival (Salento's summer electronic meeting) and connects Apulia's sound to the best International panorama.

Preternity' is a vinyl that collects together four of the most dynamic artists in electronic music delving into tracks from Dadub's forthcoming album 'You Are Eternity'. Dadub's album positions itself as part of an eternity which is forever recurring and in this context Lucy, Lakker, Rrose and Kangding Ray's remixes emerge as parallel versions of the original tracks. Revolving around the axis of 'You Are Eternity' the artists use analogue machines and digital devices to either encode or decode Dadub's vision. SA016 is preoccupied with sounds that point to our most basic assumptions. It's a collection of tracks that are determined to ask questions even if they can't really be answered. All four artists selected the Dadub track that they wanted to remake, and what has been pressed to vinyl are part instinctive reconfigurations and part reflected rethinkings of that source material. Berlin-based Doc Sleep's debut EP on Bottom Forty is a record that pulls no punches and plays no tricks; it is instead a sophisticated, gorgeous array of minimal techno inspired by the darkest of dance floors. Doc Sleep's ear for sound and rhythm set the tone for your moments of eyes-shut dancing, giving you the chance to hang onto every subtle but flawlessly executed fragment of noise.


'First Solar' opens up with a contrasting blend of dark, rolling hills of bass and bright pads that quickly pick up a dangerous amount of momentum. The moment the track 'Between' pounds its first kick, you can't help but be immediately sucked in by Doc Sleep's ear for sophisticated, minimal, beautifully engineered sounds. Between is a track that stays on its groove while soft gorgeous pads pass over you like waves, it's the perfect time for patrons of a dingy basement dance floor to connect in the dark. Lastly, 'Ampere' is a track that lays out a solid techno soundscape that is mixed up at the listeners surprise with heavily reverb'd snare hits and brooding sweeps.


On the B side, two remixers bring Doc Sleep's EP into a different dimension. Bottom Forty label head Nark extracts the gorgeous pads and pulls them to the forefront of 'Between', starting with a long ethereal intro sure to stop and sway any dance floor before continuing into a grimy minimal 303 bass line as the subtle rubs to Doc Sleep's original sounds lend it an exasperated grinding element. The second remix from Bottom Forty artist Cid & Fancy takes 'Ampere' into a place of rhythmic organized chaos with synth stabs that shoot off like metal sparks.

We love La Fraicheur for her emotionally rooted and minimal grooves, and she doesn't dissapoint with her take on 'First Solar', a driving, linear rhythm with unexpected analog twists and turns and the most heated breakdown on the record that we've personally witnessed energize many Berlin dance floors into a dancing frenzy.

After Hollen's very successful remix for our Piemont release in summer 2013 we are happy to have him back with his full proper release on Terminal M. Since Monika Kruse loves and plays Hollen's tracks and remixes heavily it was only a matter of time to get together for this Terminal M premiere.

Landing with a bang and in time for height of the summer season comes Eastern European producer and DJ Timmo, a rising tech house talent that's already released with the likes Drumcode and Waveform Recordings, now makes his mark with Gregor Tresher's always on point Break New Soil label.  

On the In My World EP, the Bulgarian focuses on tempo, rhythm and drive, turning in a 3 track EP of non-nonsense dance floor ammo, eschewing remixes and collaborative numbers for a full fat collection that allows the budding producer to explore all facets of his sound. 

Title track In My World pushes a heavy slab of sub bass, before hissing and ticking snares - packed full of swing and pace - push the track forward, as radiating, mid range bass pierces the track's plain. More groovy than Komplex - adorned by progressive melodies - it's dark overtones and unapologetic effects make for an equally as moody piece for those with itchy feet. 

Next up Timmo asks you to Trust In Me, as he notches the bass up further, with kick and baseline merging into one heavy lead rhythm, while compressed snares lift up the track in bursts of major tonal chord progression, restlessly deviating through a simultaneous weaving of high and low melodic touches.

Finally Komplex - a driving, mechanistic track that piles on the hypnotic, hydraulic overtones. Snarling, gnashing and tough, its drop heralds the arrival of a thudding kick drum, producing the back bone as the track hisses, pops and bangs through its deep groove and 808 claps.

Dot Product comes to light in a swathe of noise, tone and texture.

Through years of research and experimentation the duo have sought to explore the creative potential from the inaudible fog of electromagnetic radiation, the internal resonance found in the negative space of an object, the circuitry of discarded electronics, and other such less-travelled paths of sound generation. In harnessing these clandestine sonics and bringing them within a listenable range, the resulting collages of sound have been shaped into a form that nods to the legacy of uncompromising British experimental electronic music, from early industrial savagery to bass-heavy soundsystem pressure. Such reference points are abstract though, for within the truly unique array of sources at their disposal, Winchester and Jarman have a new dialect in which to communicate.

Crucially, while there may be a scientific approach at the heart of the Dot Productmethodology, the results are far from clinical. There are subversive rhythms aplenty throughout the album, from the jagged ripples of 'Skafander' to the slow, dread-fuelled march of 'Springs'. There is also space for touches of melody; 'Atmosphere Processor' swoons with blue-hued melancholy, while 'Ice Patches' stalks on an ominous bass mantra.

After sharing the initial results of their research, the pair performed select live shows in Bristol and London, as well as being commissioned to create a sonic interpretation of Swedish horror film Let The Right One In. The latest release from Breach's own Naked Naked imprint is brought to us by Leeds based Viers aka Jordon Saxton. Part of the new wave of UK house and techno producers, the forward thinking producer already has five releases under his belt, including a 12inch on Seb Wildblood and Ape's 'Church' imprint. For his third outing on Naked Naked, Jordon once again assumes his Viers alias for another dose of dancefloor-ready techno. On the A side 'Dissipate' makes use of sparse elements to construct a hypnotic, minimal groove. Skippy hi-hats dance around a solid but simple bassline, creating a bouncy, satisfying energy. On the flip SMS's dubby stabs combine with rattling percussion to establish a driving, relentless rhythm. Full of intensity, this one is definitely built for peak hour dancefloor damage. Due to drop on 16th October, Viers 'Dissipate/SMS' release is another great edition to Ben Westbeech's Naked Naked Catalogue.

The second release of Inkblots involves three great artists deeply active into the international techno scene: the japanese Go Hiyama and the Berlin based duo I/Y.
On Side A, Go Hiyama's first track 'Recur' delivers sinister atmospheres matched with a tough kick and industrial bleepy elements. Slow and paranoic drones get in and out contributing to enlarge the sound perception. The second track 'Prop' introduces elegant hi-hats and strident synths. A captivating kick perfectly embraces the shrill synths waving together with the sharp drum, what remains of the first side is just tense ambients, forewarning the journey is not over. 0000.001' debuts with a thin bassline and distorted grave surroundings. The track evolves with clean slap hats sound in an empty echo chamber. Solid as the first one, 'Tethys 0000.003' sets itself as an hypnotic but pleasant moment where suspicious fragments quickly appear and disappear: a sparkled trip to be enjoyed anytime but not by anyone.

'Greatest Enemy' is first and lives in a deep space world where jungliest percussion and pummelling drums are offset with swirling pads and warm synths. It's an emotional roller coaster that gets followed up by 'Spike', a manic and prickly speaker blaster with wild melodies and rave stylings all barely continued by punch and off beat kick drums. Back at the beginning of the summer, Dubfire unveiled "Exit," his magical collaboration with Miss Kittin. Downfall Theory embarks on a new chapter as it hosts a full release from a producer other than its owner, Sanys. Myztical isn't exactly a newcomer though, and the Ukrainian producer has already two releases to his credit on Nicz Records. Given the title of his debut on Downfall Theory, it is no surprise to learn that Myztical is using it as a means to question reality. Inspired by the science fiction writer Philip K Dick and decades of electronic music, he certainly succeeds on venturing into uncharted territories on the title track. Muffled, repetitive vocal samples, an atonal rhythm and relentless, slightly distorted kicks show that quite often, simplicity is the most potent ingredient. On Faith of our Fathers', Myztical disappears farther down the wormhole. Splintered rhythms, deranged howls and a deranged filter push his vision for broken beat techno into the abyss. Substance D' sees the Ukrainian hotshot return to a more linear approach, pounding kicks underpin ghostly shrieks before a breakdown sees the track descend into grimy, Woody McBride-style acid. The accompanying vocal sample, the embodiment of a bad trip, only serves to accentuate the track's darkly hallucinogenic qualities. Finally, there's Shifted Realities' - it revisits the jagged filters of Faith of our Fathers', but does so against the backdrop of a pounding industrial kick and a grungy, low-slung rhythm.

Expect to be confronted with a bit of a surprise here when you listen to the a-side of the brand-new Max Cooper on Traum.Max has never plaid around with arpeggiators in this way jet and also the "togetherness" of the soundscape is not very typical for him. But let us say this much, this track is a big track in his live sets, very much a crowd pleaser and when the bassline kicks in at 4 minutes it gets all cosmic and a massive collective feel is installed.The track is a repetitive one and the rushing of the hi-energy powered sequencer gives a nice contrast to the later added strings which add a superb  melancholic Detroit feel.We expect this track to do nice in clubs.

XCPT Music rises from underground electronic music event series taking place in the suburbs of Matera, South Italy, as mature development deeply rooted and inspired by the UK 90's scene. It kicks off with label's manager and co-owner Nothus first release, 'Fragments Of Loneliness', a 12" limited press coming out in the end of September. His first release illustrates a mixture of breaking beats, jungle vibes and Detroit soul textures, coexisting in balance in all the tracks with a special broken beat reshape made by Italian artist Andrea (Ilian Tape), one of the most interesting newcomer of European techno scene. Label artworks represent specific corners of the beautiful Matera city, recently rewarded as European Capital of Culture 2019, and cradle of the label sound.

The label Bond is the brainchild of Swedish techno DJ and producer Petter B. The concept of the label is "music by DJs for DJs". Through ten-year-experience, CRIME RECORDS is now coming to life in the Salento area (Italy). Mainly based on electronic and techno music, CRIME RECORDS is an indipendent, eco-friendly and strictly old-school label.
