Luigi Madonna was born in 1985 and yet in 1996 starts his passion for the world of house music . Therefore two turntables, a mixer, headphones, first house records and a huge passion lead him to play in first clubs still very young . It's actually 1999 when he gets started at Impero II club . After just two years , 2001,electronic sounds influences lead Luigi Madonna to experiment new sounds . Innovation and experimentation provide him with a pass to many of the Campania's clubs booths obtaining a good success . 2004 is the year of musical turning point, infact Luigi moves his own first steps with musical productions , goal: minimal techno. The field is wide and the musical interest is oriented towards every kind of sound . Old river park represents for Luigi Madonna the official debut in one of the "sacred places" of techno music. There he manges to enrich his experience by playing with Joseph Capriati, Par Grindvik, Dominik Eulberg, Argy, Ben Sims and many others . In 2008 his first release , "Submarine", signed by Structure records, followed by important collaborations with "Simplex records", "Overdrive music" and others. The most meaningful project arrives in 2009 on the famous Rino Cerrone's record label, "Loose records", "Madonna e.p.".is released , actually showing a dynamic passion towards music and a endless research for new sounds , Luigi Madonna is carrying on a collaboration project with the labels of Markantonio "Analytic Trail" , "MKT" and soon... Aubrey is one of UK's early 90's techno pioneers that made music still relevant today. On this Contact Funk 2012 EP Lifeworld introduces you to 4 of his classic and rare tracks remastered. Vortex Two is a straight forward techno trip with minimalistic 909 programming and deep mesmerizing sounds. With Reflection Aubrey brings things in more playful territory. The fundamental details of the machine were published in von Neumann's book Theory of Self-Reproducing Automata, completed in 1966 by Arthur W. Burks after von Neumann's death.

Our little Dutch sun god Onno knows best how to make the kids shine, and as expected, he's put together a breakwater just in time for beach season: 'Whatever Makes You Happy' glides on on the crest of the A1 groove with a heavy-duty surfboard. Its laconic vocal work and dynamic drum rolls are echoed in the remix by Nicola Jah at coordinates B2. This Italian producer dives into stiller waters, which of course run deep down into the vibrant ocean of sound. For the B1 Onno provides similarly strong dancing material, shooting pool on the sundeck of his boat and knocking '8ball' into the hole of victory. Lars Sandberg AKA Funk D'Void, is a DJ and producer who has been at the forefront of the global electronic music scene since the mid-90s. He started Djing at around the tender age of 15, running two under-18 clubs himself - a perfect start to his career. Knowing his vocation to music from an early age after being brought up by his professional pianist mother, Lars never had any doubt as to where his future would lie.
House music changed his life, the early Chicago sound specifically, and hearing the certain sounds during his childhood stirred something inside him; the 808 drum machine used on Marvin Gaye's 'Sexual Healing' secured his fascination with these electronic sounds - the turning point over to the Detroit techno sound was almost a spiritual moment as it forged his unique sound that would follow over the coming years - visceral, soulful and without compromise.
After a string of hits over the years ('Jack Me Off', 'Bad Coffee' 'Emotional Content') plus some killer remixes for the likes of Underworld, New Order and Kevin Saunderson, he is probably best known for the end-of-nighter 'Diabla' which bridged house and techno (and was flogged by everyone from Danny Howells to Sven Vath). And if you look carefully, recently you'll also spy the name 'L. Sandberg' in the liner notes of releases by "newcomer" Francois Dubois, whose 'Blood' and 'I Try' were huge underground hits of 2006 and 2007 respectively.

'Galactic Alignment' is the new single by the elusive Jump 'Chico' Slamm, whose otherwise sparse catalogue includes the classic 'Slamm Project' which got released on Cajual in 1993 and features the legendary track 'Feel Free'. Another notable song in his catalogue is 'Fuk Dat', another 1993 recording (under his Sagat moniker), which became a worldwide club and radio hit.
While working on a reissue of aforementioned 'Feel Free', an unreleased recording came to light which immediately lit our fire. 'Galactic Alignment' was just too good to remain in the vaults, so it
got dusted off and readied for release. Although this jewel has been lying dormant for some years, it sounds very current. Better yet, it
has a timeless feel and has the unique appeal to take dance floors both intimate and extravagant. Another essential from the mind of Mr. Slamm!

Madrid-based producer Aikan drops three new tracks on this 12": 'First Balance' is basically a subdued dancefloor anthem, structured to surprise. There's melody, kick and experimentation, delivering in every sense. 'Second balance' pays tribute to those hypnotic melodies that we all recognize as techno staples.
On the flip side, Regis (undoubtedly one of the most relevant techno acts of the last 20 years) re-interprets 'Second Balance' boosting its most sinister side, playfully manipulating industrial and acid elements. What comes out is an exciting, but contained apocalypse that makes all rooms vibrate. To close the EP, 'Third Balance' turns all acid elements to overdrive, celebrating the techno that plays late at night, where layers and layers are interlaced to drive things forward.

Being in the same gene pool as Pat Sharpe's hair is enough of a stigma to steer any young DJ's career off course- deep in the discos of pop trash. Fortunately for Metaphi/Metske , although still benefitting from the same glossy 90's locks as the radio-jock/distant uncle, musical inspiration came from more complex climates. Wigflex006 acts as a fine electronic switchboard to Metaphi's archive of talents, a complicated circuit board of the experimental ranging from hip hop, IDM, and garage to blues harmonicas and classical rifts, seamlessly melted into one gloop of green circuitry where each musical discipline must co-exist with another. As Metske the bpm's hover around 95, the framework is hip-hop, the sound often Skwee but the influences thereafter are endless, Slow Train Blues clicks its way through a steam train intro before marring the lines between electronic music and the blues with a self-composed harmonica rift worthy of Howlin' Wolf. At the same tempo Spin States delves into the cosmic with pipey neon chords and bit-crunched bass: Sega Mega Drive boss level business. Metaphi's taste for big room techno is blatant and genetically Wigflex over Sharpflex, and in terms of nationality it's mongrel, half Notts, half Eastern Europe. With Concious Mentis he's keeping things minimal but charged from lower frequencies and Messmode progresses with some serious dancefloor swagger.

We've always been a fan of Pablo Bolivar's sound. He already did a track on Curle018 and we're glad to have him back on board for a double EP this time. proven even more versatility and vision, reworking artists as diverse as Martyn, Kenny Larkin and Depeche Mode to
Emptyset and Steve Bug. Meanwhile Moeller mutes the hats and brings the trackís whirring dystopian bed to the fore with

On the flip, Worksí luscious dubbed out number ìWriting Wrongsî is pulled further apart and dragged to dark subaqueous
depths by Echospace duo Rod Modell and Stephen Hitchell as cv313. Melbourne-based producer Craig McWhinney on the
other hand takes ìWriting Wrongsî in the other direction entirely, soaring past Moellerís original to conclude Work Ethics
on a hazy sun kissed dub trip thatís altogether soothing, light and mesmerising.

The Works of Conrad Schnitzler will always be important. Not only for m=minimal. Ricardo Villalobos and Max Loderbauer were so fascinated by the - Zug' that they immediatly accepted to deliver two reshapes of this milestone of electronic music. (We already released Zug on vinyl - mm-001lp) Max Loderbauer is a veteran of the Berlin "techno" scene, who became known with his project "Sun Electric". For his current project NSI and as a member of the "Moritz von Oswald Trio" Max Loderbauer enjoys a worldwide reputation. His great cooperation with Ricardo Villalobos, for the legendary ECM label, appears in many "Best of 2011" lists.

The dynamic Italian duo MACROMISM is back with the first proper EP on Kling Klong after several releases on labels like Break New Soil, Sci+Tec, Kiara, Monique etc.

Their remix for Tony Dee's 'Tamazoo' became such a big success for Kling Kling it was just a natural move that these guys need their own release. And yes, they produced three grande bombas which are tested by the Kling Klong maestros Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold since weeks.

Sided Dice Recordings continues to maintain its reputation as one of the most consistent techno labels to emerge in recent times thanks to a steady stream of well-received releases. The label operates as both a home for high profile artists and an outlet for emerging talent; striking a balance between output from Fitzpatrick and that of his contemporaries, including contributions from Rich Jones, Chris Colburn, ON/OFF, Harvey McKay, Hans Bouffmyhre and Nicole Moudaber.

Established in 2008 as a vehicle for Alan Fitzpatrick to release his own music, 8 Sided Dice has evolved on an impressive trajectory in line with Fitzpatrick's own career. Recognised as one of the most exciting talents to emerge from UK in recent times, Fitzpatrick's brand of infectious, modern techno has propelled him towards the upper echelons of the scene and has encouraged an impressive list of legendary techno talent - Cari Lekebusch, Joey Beltram and Slam - to grant their endorsement to 8 Sided Dice.

The UK techno scene has rarely been without new artists pushing the scene forward, but recent times have seen a rash of producers emerge and rise to global notoriety in double-quick fashion. One region that seems to have spawned more than most is UK's south coast, producing a long lineage of techno acts including 8 Sided Dice founder, Alan Fitzpatrick and fellow stable mates Reset Robot, Chris Colburn, Rich Jones and Bryan Chapman. Now add to that list Jon Gurd. No stranger to notoriety himself, his 2001 'The Brotherhood' track found favour with many, as has his Primal Rhythm label.

Lead track, 'Electric Love' see's Fitzpatrick & Gurd combine to create a deep and twisted cut centred around a distinctive 'I'm going downtown' vocal, stabby bass and steady nagging chords; a combination that resounds in the mix, generating a kinetic energy of its own to add to the solid thumping kick. On the flip, 'Pendulum' plays its cards straighter, going for a full-force yet linear groove that matches shunting rhythms with pulsing mechanical tones and wobbly background tones. A pumping but powerfully hypnotic track, which combines raw, direct energy and taut, mesmerizing moods.

1996 was a successful year for them, because they became well known in every part of Greece back then with their single House hit u like that.
This time they decided to show a more melancholic and deep remix of an unreleased track from 1999,
named declaration of silence and they present it through a series of remixes of established artists
and active persons of electronic scene such as : Ilias Katelanos, George Apergis & Vgo and Christian Paduraru.

Analog Trip himself re-records and redefines after 12 years his unreleased track declaration of silence through another point of view
Its melancholic but in a way makes you dive into his logic and let your mind wander while you are dancing on 125 bpm.

It finds its way to your soul but gets lost in your mind in the deep pad and the melody while
it reaches its end will remind you some forgotten track of the 80s.

0Modal Analysis is a new label born in Athens, Greece and devoted to experimental and conceptual techno. The first MA release Plate belongs to Cassegrain, the Berlin/Thessaloniki based duo with recent vinyls for Prologue and M_Rec.
The two tracks, 'Plate #1 and 'Plate #2,' designed for long trips on the dancefloor. Coming from Berlin's legendary Raster-Noton label, Kangding Ray completes the debut with a suspenseful remix of 'Plate #2.'

A freshly minted London label, Clueplant's mission is to push twisted, imaginative techno with a raw analogue energy and a futuristic approach to sound design.The first release showcases a balance of two distinctly individual and intoxicating tunes which have seen enthusiastic reception on the dancefloor and radio while doing the rounds as dubplates.
The A side hosts a powerful chunk of modern techno energetically played live and is the first release from London producer 12&bit, a perverse hardware purist whose vinyl and live sets have thumped out at Teknivals aross Europe and seen over 2 million downloads of his played-live techno through the open-source Audio Globular music library.On the B side the perversity is taken a step further by the infamous Bulgarian electro deviant, MANASYt. Following 11 years of quality vinyl output on prolific labels such as Kommando 6, Touchin' Bass and Bunker, the balaclava-clad nomad MANASYt has set up his studio in the techno capitals of the world, Berlin, London and Detroit, and is now in China pumping out his trademark brutal and forward-thinking industrial techno for Clueplant
