Pariter has lined up a trio of classic house reissues for your enjoyment this Spring. They come from Smooth & Simmonds who are famous for managing to smooth out the differences between house, garage and techno and are firm favourites of deep-digging heads for that reason. All of these cuts - which like the other two EPs have been freshly remastered for the occasion - are some 30-odd years old and are textbook examples of timeless grooves. 'Climax' has tight, kinetic drums that punch out an irresistible pattern as swirling pads fishing them off up top in some style.

It’s approximately been a year since Antoine lost what would have been his debut album, ironically dubbed ‘Humour. Positivity & Affection’. In its wake, stemmed the idea for the producer to reform his conceptually based project (Mise En Place) into a vinyl only label.

The Land Down Dunder EP being the first, of hopefully, many releases throughout this new imprint. The label head feels there is no better way to start this campaign, than with a body of work, entirely inspired by the modern, timeless TV Sitcom - The Office (US).


The opener ‘Australian Reds’ looks to bridge the gap between Progressive House and Antoine interpretation of Minimal. Matched with Ghanian inherited grooves of course.

‘Colombian Whites’ as suggested by its title, widens the eyes and warms the soul with its textbook, 90’s House inspired Kicks, Hi’s and Baseline. Synthy melodies run throughout the mid(s) of the track to marry the ensemble together. Fitting for all terrains, but would be highly favoured in the Summer.

The B-Side flips the script in tone, tempo and texture - pulling on Antoine’s repertoire for groove laden Techno - ‘Cafe Disco (AK’s Rare Groove Dub)’ brings you to the after hours of any setting with it’s full bodied percussive rhythms, beautifully automated soundscapes and highly persuasive swing. Lastly, the EP is capped off by ‘Threat Level Midnight’. A nod to Antoine’s versatility within the realms of House and Techno. An incredibly versatile track, structurally inspired by the producers love of Hip-Hop. A cacophony of ethereal chord progressions run throughout the track alongside one moody baseline, as well as solemn drum patterns which progress in both body-feel and stature.

"Creation" is the debut album by British songwriter, singer & pianist James Sayer and includes the three singles "Living It Up", "Chemistry" and Cherry".

After spending many years playing for others, Sayer says that "writing my own music happened completely by accident. But I'm so glad I recorded that one demo which ultimately spurred me on to create a full album all this time later." Sayer, often called an old soul due to his love of classic song writing and bygone eras comments that although technology has changed the landscape of the musical world today, making a record organically was still a must for him.

Originally from Birmingham, Sayer's fascination and love of music began at a very young age when he learnt all thing rhythm & blues and rock'n'roll from his dad's music collection of artists such as Elton John or Jerry Lee Lewis, later also finding a love of soul artists such as Michael McDonald, Aretha Franklin, Van Morrison and Earth, Wind and Fire. Sayer moved to London in 2012 where he began performing almost every night in piano bars, clubs and pubs; spotted by the likes of Tom Jones whilst holding down a residency at the world-famous American Bar at the Savoy hotel.

About recording "Creation" he says: "I've tried to capture all the styles I love - Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Gospel and classic pop music – but still create a sound that is all mine".

Swedens #1 techno legend The Source Experience aka Robert Leiner delivers this disturbingly fat acid techno 12'' on Borft that gets into your ears and brain like a locomotive straight from the rave days. On the A-side a crushing stripped down funky repetitive acid stonker that will spank old and young ravers like they were one big ass. B1 continues in a similar fashion but with a almost electro-ish backbeat instead of straight 4/4 and strong hints of classic EBM in the bassline and percussions. The hairs on my arms were standing up at this point. B2 is a weird surprise ending with a downtempo, strangely harmonic, melodic and almost romantic track which somehow reminds me of the Frak classic ''Uttoz gives a song''. If you are into Acid in any form this 12'' is a no brainer, a must have, a future classic. Rosati launches his new imprint, Global Pulse. The label embraces a futuristic development of Techno, exploring unknown sonic territories while always staying true to its original essence.

The inaugural release, 'Automatic Response EP', features five original tracks that are pulsating with powerful dynamics and detailed textures.

In the first track, A1 'Automatic Response', the vibe is established by a steady bass line and hypnotic bleep sequences that are ensuring high pressure energy.

Continuing with A2 'Way Out', where a wide landscape is created through the use of well crafted sound design elements, juxtaposed to a minimalistic 909 groove.

With B1 'Ufo Memory', Rosati is diving into alien realms, blending atmospheric UFO textures with heavily saturated drum patterns, creating a dark, pumping, and futuristic mood.

Subject To Restrictions Discs presents “Abisso” by Tagliabue. Inspired by the immeasurable depths of the abyss, the Milanese DJ and producer creates a dense and intense soundscape that evokes images of a submerged world of cosmic frequencies.

Prepare to dive into “Abisso”, the latest sonic creation by the talented Joseph Tagliabue. An EP that defies the ordinary and captures attention from the very first moment, “Abisso” is a musical journey through four unreleased and completely different tracks. A1 explodes with the power of a mid-tempo bomb, Joseph’s trademark, while B1 amazes with a thrilling break that transforms into a progressive shaker perfect for the dancefloor. Splatter is a new vinyl and digital underground techno label from Austrian artists Luca Tresque, Joe Haensn and Rotary Motion.

'Exceed Limits' follows their special prequel EP and launches the label catalogue in style.

Florian Meindl is a Berlin-based artist who runs the FLASH record label and who has appeared outside of his own imprint on labels like Stephan Bodzin's Herzblut to Oliver Koletzki's Stil vor Talent. "Gridlock" is a true jackin' cut with a multitude of mechanical elements and raw analogue energy.

Linear System is a Spanish artist who has released music on esteemed labels like Edit Select, Ben Sims' Symbolism and Dynamic Reflection. "Taurinom" is a moody, rolling groove with gripping suspense and haunting touches from gothic effects and an eerie atmosphere.

Leipzig is the home of JANEIN, a respected artist known for releasing on Index Marcel Fengler, Slam's Soma, Fiedel's Fiedeltwo, Exos' Planet X and Electric Rescue's Skryptom. "Neowise" is punchy and percussive track with a metallic, siren-like hook and infectious energy.

Daniel Heinrich is also from Berlin, and shows himself to be a top talent following his EP's on Elektrotribe to Inherit with remixes by Arnaud Le Texier an Hadone. "Close Your Eyes" has a pacey style with superb stabbing chords that create an old-school feel alongside vocal chants for extra impact.

Stuttgart-based Egotot runs the Schimmer label and also lists BCCO, OECUS and Ketch's SYXT in his quality back catalogue. "Name It As You Want" has a quirky, bouncing beat with Detroit-style stabs and a light-hearted vibe ready for the dance floor.

2000BLACK returns once again with 'Circus Retreat' a song trying to navigate the continuous confusion that surrounds us today.Samii provides the voice and lyrics on a unique uptempo soul fusion track.

The originality continues with one of the signature sounds of 2000BLACK 'London Boogie 7'the music giving off the sound of modern boogie and house combined.To round up the ep 'Shrug' displays the marriage of dub and techno residing in the big smoke.

Presenting ‘Lotus Island EP' by Forest on Stasys, a record that seamlessly weaves through the tapestry of the deep techno landscape. We kick off with the title track, 'Lotus Island,' a hypnotic journey characterised by rolling percussion and menacing synths. Feral then adds his reconstruction, plunging the listener into a dark, swampy realm, reimagining the original with his unique signature sound.

Next up is 'Torre De Alquimia,' a spacious, haunting track that rolls through techno terrains with an enigmatic allure, evoking a sense of mystery and suspense throughout. Closing the EP is 'Prism of Nature,' a brighter, melodic workout that serves as a serene conclusion to this wonderfully deep record.

2024 Repress

Along with Chontane's debut on EMERALD he brings a booming revival of heavy looped percussion pressure and stylistic shifts. Every piece is executed with enough feel to cut through the layers and provide warmth and emotion with an updated formula on the earliest impressions of techno.

Eight years after the critically acclaimed Alien Cartoon, Senegalese producer IBAAKU returns with a new project an alchemy of jazz, electronic sounds and Casamance music in the tradition of Touré Kunda and Xalam in their day.

The album is also accompanied by a short film
a manifesto of resilience in the face of the sound poet's personal history but also a questioning of the way in which technologies technologies and cultures come together to reinitialize our imaginary.

Upfront business from London’s Baby Rollén. Kaleidoscope EP is a club ready four-tracker exploring a fusion of sounds from the dazzling arps of the title track, to the groovy bassline pulse throughout Nerve Glider.

‘Unknown Fate’ is the debut release from UF - the collaborative live project between German experimental techno artist OAKE and British producer and live performer Samuel Kerridge.

Samuel Kerridge and OAKE started creating music together when they shared a studio in Berlin and have been making music together for a decade. This is the first time that they have released music as a duo and it’s been a long time in the making.

This new opus marks a major comeback for Samuel Sanders, who made a name for himself in the 2000s with his first productions alongside Max Walder on Ghoststyle, whose track "Cyclone" was covered by big names such as Ken Iishi, Marco Bailey, Frank Biazzi, Technasia, Marco Carola ... but also on the Invasion label with "Dependance" (N.E.W.S label) and among others on the Kevlar "Illusion" label, where this EP received great support from Dave Clarke, Carl Cox, Chris Liebing ... He also produced alongside Manu Kenton on the Kentek, Frenchtek and Fanatix labels. With N.O.B.A, he returned to production, choosing Vibes Addikt for his comeback.

The A-side "Do You Like ... 2024" is a remake of a track he and N.O.B.A created in 2008 on Reaktion, in a much more Hard Techno version with a spirit all its own.
Side B is dedicated to Samuel Sanders himself and presents his new productions:
B1 "Desolation" a hypnotic spirit with a touch of Acid on the cover for lovers of this spirit
The B2 "Don't Be Afraid" is close to Hard Techno with a more clubby style for fans of this style.

2024 Repress

Berlin based Alignment returns to Voxnox for what Italians are best known for: straight and forward-thinking Techno music. Floor orientation with heavy basslines, marching drums and an ever modulating Plug is therefore guaranteed on opening title "Infinity".

Second in order is "Distorted Signal", which specialises on a modulated rhythm with plenty of soundscapes, best up severed for a sweaty Saturday night on a solid sound system, highlighting the many layers and styles on this production work.

The bigger, the better. "Alienist" reminds and also focusses on the classic rave attitudes from the late 90s, with energising synths and an 808-inspired clap programming, ready to heat up the night no matter when and regardless where.

Closing this release is the fourth title "Distance", showing another high-energy production building up epic acid-vibes with various atmospheres just to finally drop them several times par excellence.

Aller Ende Anfangs Various Artists 002 takes off with "Reach" on side A, a pounding breakbeat track by Australian artist StacEmp, followed by a dazzling and heretic interpretation of techno by Hamburg based HACKSTER, also known as "aitch". Deepneue delivers mysterious "Famadihana", an exciting and rhythmic track on side B, while Murky fm creates a wonderful melancholic journey in "Crescent".

Pure Dub techno driven 5 tracker. Hydergine is back on Ranges with a new sonic journey that delves deep into dub techno while infusing it with innovative broken beat structures.

Lewis Fautzi new alias Non Cyclic's debut album happens in his own imprint and is the reflection of the profile stablished beforehand of a faster and more physical techno.

Non Cyclic delivers a free tour to the depth of his creative mind, an invitation to his own fantasy universe where abstract and spacey pads combine with fast, complex and violent kicks, frantic and melancholic melodies.

A serendipitous encounter at an SF record store in the early 90s brought together local music aficionados DJ Dan and Jim Hopkins. Their collaboration birthed the legendary Electroliners project, channeling their shared passion for underground and funky sounds into the iconic left-coast rave anthem, 'Loose Caboose', now firmly nestled in your hands. Pooling their musical prowess, Dan and Jim embarked on a journey of sonic exploration, meticulously crafting their signature sound by dissecting samples and breakbeats, infusing the musical landscape with a revitalizing energy. As their reputation grew within the local scene, they found themselves tasked with supplying a track for a promotional CD-ROM by a burgeoning software company.

Through marathon sessions of digging, slicing, sequencing, and exchanging snippets over phone calls, Electroliners hit their creative stride. It was only natural to unveil their creation in the raw intensity of a live rave setting. Thanks to a connection with DJ DRC, they seized the opportunity, and the rest is history. Copies of the record flew off the shelves by the thousands locally, and its overseas acclaim, spearheaded by licensing through XL Recordings in the UK, cemented its status as a bona fide underground classic. But what exactly is an Electroliner you might ask? Jim sheds light on the inspiration: “I delved into books on trains at the public library,” he reveals. “Among them, 'Electroliner' caught my eye, a train line in the Midwest. Given the track's pulsating train horn, 'Electroliner' and 'Loose Caboose' simply clicked.”

'Loose Caboose' is an all-time classic, and still causes much damage on the dancefloor today. Yet another unmissable addition to the MC reissue catalogue, fully licensed from the artists, mastered and cut by Curve Pusher, and available once again available for purchase. Do not sleep.

Fierce and forlorn, Swarm Intelligence’s “The Shattered Self” delves into the complexities of human existence in an era dominated by technological advancements. In this thought-provoking exploration, the artist challenges listeners to confront the consequences of a near future where physical and mental augmentation are commonplace. Swarm Intelligence draws influences from black metal, industrial-tinged dub and post rock, splicing these with his distinctive take on techno to devastating effect. "Dejected," the inaugural track, unleashes grinding walls of feedback against a relentless broken beat, its foreboding atmosphere heightened by a menacing low growl of distorted bass that permeates the unease. It's a disquieting overture that sets the stage for the tumultuous journey ahead.

The second track, “Eros” envelops the listener in a visceral soundscape, where haunting atmospheres intertwine with grinding feedback and pounding percussion. Initially tense, the track evolves into an unexpected and almost euphoric climax, adding an unforeseen emotional depth to the sonic narrative. Feedback Waves - the new imprint from independent label Rings of Neptune - is proud to present Trill, the first and only album by Palomatic. Almost thirty years after its original release on CD in 1995, this beautiful nine-track work is now available on vinyl for the first time.

Palomatic is an alias of Koji Takahashi, an active member of the bubbling Japanese electronic music scene of the early-to-mid 90s. Besides his solo work, he was a core member of Takahashi Tektronix (with Nic Yoshizawa) and Mutron (with Kiyoshi Hazemoto, aka Interferon), as well as working as a synth programmer for supergroup Denki Groove.

Following the release of his debut track 'Halo' on Syzygy Records in 1993, Takahashi made a series of contributions to compilations on the scene-defining Transonic label. His first and only full-length album, Trill, combined these tracks with original material to form an absorbing and versatile standalone statement of the Palomatic sound.

From the oscillating lilt of 'Flutter', which opens proceedings at a measured 104bpm, through to the symphonic epilogue of 'Soar', Trill is rooted in the fertile territory between organic and synthetic sounds - ground that was nourishing the work of many likeminded producers worldwide at the time. West Coast psychedelia and East Coast funk, the moody bass weight of Bristol trip-hop and Sheffield bleep, and the chemical rush of German techno and Belgian trance: with a distinctly Japanese sensibility, Trill drew these strands together into an elegant musical tapestry. The result is timeless - indeed, album centrepiece 'Foaming Waves' would sound right at home on the faster-paced dancefloors of today.

In the annals of German techno history of the early 90s, Mannheim's Milk Club was always something like the dirty little brother between Berlin's Tresor and Frankfurt's Omen - not as cocky as the two big siblings, but secretly all the more clever. Less pretentious than the Äppelwoi metropolis, less dirty than the capital and, despite squaring the circle, less straightforward than both together. Instead, they delight with breakdancers of almost Wigan Casino-like elegance. Very British, even in the musical mix of house, techno and breakbeats, breakbeats, breakbeats. A resident of Berlin's long-running Gegen, a multifaceted queer techno and performance art event, Samantha Togni has seen her profile rising with appearances on Mixmag's Lab series in London and a heavy release schedule on established and upcoming labels: Stay Up Forever, Noise Manifesto, her own Boudica, and others, quickly accumulating a significant discography since her 2019 debut. Her latest is the Lunaversal EP on Rant & Rave, representing another edgy release from upcoming female techno talent. It leads off with the title track, not exactly as cosmic as implied with buried, indecipherable vocals and buzzsaw synth riffs seesawing between intermittent breakdowns which only serve to increase tension 'Minor Goddess' takes an old school rave approach with abrasive, rising stabs and dissected vocals against a hammering framework of kicks and crushing bass pressure. With its lilting ambient chopped vocal samples slightly counterbalancing the surging forward motion of the rhythm, 'Pit of Truth' hits deeper, but the pit in the title obviously leans more towards dungeon or grave. 'Jesters Have a Heart Too' rubs unstable synth sweeps against blasts of industrial noise and jackhammer percussion, reaching peak intensity in its brutally chopped final run.

EVOLV is a visionary window into the mind of Dubfire, the journey of the ‘hybrid’ being and its evolution. Last year in October, an 11-track debut album was released on his long-standing SCI+TEC imprint. Perfumes Of A Spring Mist delicately opens this latest EP with entrancing, processed soundscapes, beautifully haunting melody and simple rhythmic elements than seem to evolve naturally allowing you to get lost in the sea of vibrations. Xpan leans on the more classic Dub Techno sound from Deepchord of years passed. Sub heavy beats and jagged yet tranquil synths sweep across the palette as Deepchord plays with constantly fluctuating chords, bringing the quintessential 90s Deep Techno into his more modern, processed sound. Title track Campfire brings ambience to the forefront to close out the EP. Melancholic synth elements drift across an expanse of refined and uniquely crafted field recordings, offering an insight into the areas from which Deepchord draws his inspiration.

Once again Deepchord proves to be one of the most visionary artists the electronic world has seen.

DJ Elephant Power (Nicolas Baudoux) based in Brussels, Les Octaves de la Musique awarded musician, is returning with his new EP ‘Blowing From Above’ on May 2024 with limited edition vinyls. The abundantly creative producer never tires of exploring the possibility of new sounds and rhythms. This time he delves deep into numerous genres from breakbeat to bass and he added more colours on each track which composed, performed and produced by himself. In the main lab, the next satellite has been developing on woah woah sound mattress. Visitors can experience zero gravity in the room in the middle of kick and snare which provides perfect unbalance.

Joseph Capriati is firmly established as one of the greatest techno DJs in the world, but growing up in Naples his first connection with electronic dance music was actually in the House Music genre. “Peace And Blessings” feat. Arnold Jarvis is Joseph’s very personal tribute to this genre, where he produced a track that he felt encompassed the vibe and spirituality of House Music. He wanted a song and vocal performance that would equally represent all the best qualities of the genre, and joined with one of the industry’s most iconic and legendary vocal talents Arnold Jarvis to write lyrics and deliver a vocal performance that perfectly complements Joseph’s percussion and synth driven track. Recall IV is the project created by Andre Fischer that reached a massive success in the German techno scene in 1990 with the release of the single “Contrast” on Techno Drome International / ZYX Records. Andre has been a very active techno composer and producer since the late 80’s working with people like Lars Janzik, Carlos Perón, Giora Schein & Holger Wick (Konzept), Volker Then (Friends Of Carlotta) on countless projects including Scope, Scrot, Technoline, Trust in 6, ADSX, etc.

One of the most consistent new labels around, Cyphon Recordings, marks double figures with another standout release that gleans from the past, but faces the future. This time they look to the talents of Emotive Technology, a new alias from Chilean Massiande who provides a five-track EP of machine-wielding, soul-rousing techno from across the spectrum.

Although this may be the first release under his new moniker, Massiande has spent the last decade putting out productions with labels such as Housewax, Phonica, Freerange and Groovin. Firing on all cylinders from the get-go, ‘Rise’ kicks off the Walk Into The Light EP. A hyperspace melding of new beat, Italo and arp-operating techno that opens out into a slice of peak-time revelry.

The swirling textures of ‘It’s On’ follow, pushing you into the next dimension. A hypnotic, entrancing and arresting heads-down powerhouse. Crunchy and considered it's the kind of strobe-stuttering basement jam that turns heads inside out.

Two Detroit-leaning tracks ‘Your Zone’ and ‘Walk IntoThe Light’ are up next. The former is a heavyweight machine workout. Layered synth lines and crisp drum programming transfix, as that grooving low-end powers bodies into bedlam. The latter, a Motor-City-influenced tour de force. New school Italian techno sensation Alignment is back with a third thrilling EP for on Charlotte de Witte’s KNTXT label that once again stands him apart.

Alignment's previous outings on the label - the Time EP in April 2020, then his Nothingness EP in November 2020 - made huge impacts. They are standout techno offerings from a young and exciting artist who has quickly risen to the top. He has remained hugely busy in the last 12 months with a wide-ranging sound that takes in everything from old school bangers to trance-tinged rollers via futuristic workouts.

Says label boss Charlotte de Witte, "Alignment's music has been strongly represented in all my livestreams of 2020 and 2021 and I honestly can't wait to finally bring his music and his latest creations on Power EP to the dancefloor. It's made to make you move and I'm very happy to have him on board once again!“

The artist himself adds, "The vibes we shared pre-pandemic on our beloved dance-floors inspired me a lot to create Power EP. I tried to focus on effective and highly energetic, peak-time techno weapons for KNTX011. Signature synths, big stabs and kicks following only one formula - no compromise and four to the floor.”

First up is Power, a high octane track with hard drums, slamming bass and bright synths that cannot fail to get hands in the air. The excellent 'Disconnection' has laser-like synths shooting across the face of the track while big, edgy trance stabs light up the barreling drums from way up above. DJ, producer, promoter, composer, and cultural agitator Man Power makes his debut on Radio Slave’s Rekids with ‘We Trawl The Hurts’ featuring Louisahhh on 12th April. The first fruits of a long-term friendship see Man Power (Me Me Me/Throne of Blood/Optimo) serving up a stomping, big-room cut that tips its hat to late-90s NY house and serves as a bed for the inimitable Louisahhh’s (RAAR) breathy vocal delivery of classic Prefab Sprout lyrics.

An intimate, spoken-word vocal from Louisahh weaves through a world of vibrant pads and chords. The gorgeous lyricism of their ‘We Trawl The Hurts’ is underpinned by an uplifting and emotive swirl of melody and a rock-steady beat. Man Power’s love of Murk and Tenaglia shines through.

The evergreen Deetron delivers three versions of ‘We Trawl The Hurt’s ft Louisahhh’: a remix that flips the original into a thumping deep techno cut featuring loopy synths and pixelated leads, a stripped-back and powerful dub, and his DJ tool ‘drum and bass’, built for those who like to mix.

rauh and soon on Mojuba/ a.r.t.less. With "Jelly", Session Restore delivers reduced, Detroit-inspired techno with highly effective 909-drumming. "Influx" by Bernhard Hudalla rounds off the EP with playful drum clusters and insistent leads.

Brian d’Souza (fka Auntie Flo) teams up with in-demand DJ Or:la, harpist Róisín Berkeley and celebrated artist Jana Nicole for a release celebrating the humble mushroom. Originally commissioned for the Hayes Mycelium Pavilion at Glastonbury Festival 2023, these two pieces represent the artist homage to the unique power of connection within nature - the mychorrizal network that humans could do well from learning from. d’Souza’s piece uses a process of biosonification, picking up electrical impulses from four different mushroom species (Oyster, Reishi, Lion’s Mane and Shiitake) and turning them into musical notes. The 18 min piece is a literal ecological sound walk into the mind of the mushroom. Irish techno artist/DJ Orlagh Dooley aka Or:la debuts with her piece created in collaboration with harpist Róisín Berkeley.

Glacial textures and delicious harp glissandos form a mushroom habitat that exists in peace and harmony. The bespoke art work was created by multi-award winning artist Jana Nicole, who used a combination of collage, digital photography and manipulation to put together an art piece that resembles the depth and beauty of the mushroom and its mycelium. The limited edition vinyl will include a scratch and sniff smell component and incorporate UV paint that will only show up in dark light, revealing a different perspective as mushrooms do in the wilds.

A State of Flo supports Earth Percent. 10% of the revenue generated from this release will be paid to environmental charities.

Often the best music gets made when people get out of their comfort zone and venture into new territory. That is what I felt listening to these tracks from Ukrainian veteran Alexander Pavlenko. He has a long history in drum 'n bass as Sunchase, and as Na Nich, you might have heard him on Rhythm Buro or Semantica, but this release reveals another side of him that we haven't heard before.

The Karpati EP kicks off with "Manipulation". A rolling sub and punchy drums propel the track's momentum forward and make it dancefloor-ready. The sounds on top take inspiration from multiple genres for a track that finds a perfect balance between the deeper sides of both house and techno.

Next up is "Still There", a stripped deep house tune where filtered percussion, pads and vocals alternate each other, flowing in and out of focus.

Title track "Karpati", a hypnotic techno track, takes inspiration from the mountain region in western Ukraine, the melody reflecting a similar beauty as the Carpathian nature. Add Na Nich's expert sound design on top, and the result is a deep and captivating trip.

"Morning Habit" rounds up the EP by slowing things down for a dubbed out house cut. Chords playfully bounce over the beat for a tune suitable for either the early or very late mornings.

First track of the A-side with Raito use synths from 90's rave with nice grooves en percussions, sharp acid line and a huge kick.

A2 with Zahia is an electro-techno track with a heavy bass synth and an exploding clap.

B-side turns up the BPM with the first track produced with Dyen, nearing hardcore techno with gabbersynths & discorded kick.

The last track of this EP is the second collaboration between Jacidorex & Epidemie, the second generation of Belgian Acid scene. This one is an energic hard track, with hard floor kick, dark hovers and heavy acid lines.

The whole EP is a really good example of what Neoacid can propose as different kind of acid music.

Shipwrec have delved into the underbelly of electronics for their latest discovery. Fake Youth Cult is the brand new project of Richard van Kruysdijk, an artist who has been integral to the Dutch music scene. Following releases on Delsin, as well as founding his own Music for Speakers label, this latest undertaking explores the darker hues of Kruysdijk's audio creations. Across six tracks, a realm of shadows and steel is constructed. From the murky tones of "Visitor" to the industrial and blackened "Scorched", a towering sound of punishing percussion looms over the listener. Techno is central message. Despite this, the piercing coldness of electro rises in the incising and stark "Messing." The influence of punk comes to the fore in racing rhythms and lean strings that make up "Smear." BPMs drop in the slow burning EBM stained "Management." The machines take control for the finale. A relentless kick is the motor that drives this seven minute juggernaut to the close. Broad and brutish brilliance from a prodigious talent.

Duo Lucas Brell and Marvin Uhde deliver fire-powered percussion to Osàre! Editions. Longtime friends
and collaborators, they channel a liquid medley of drum menace that flips sideways, swiftly pivoting
between wildly different tempos. As disorientating as it is formidable, Purest State Confusion offers up a
fractal prism of ever-shifting beat patterns – an endlessly warping vortex of guttural, narcotic sounds.
The titular number, a wormhole techno ordeal, builds steadily, layer upon layer. A crystalline dancefloor
pleaser, it subverts classic four-to-the-floor with a delayed kick drum that punctuates every 8th beat. Like
black oil diffusing in water, the bass creeps in menacingly to 'The Disappearer', in hard and fast contrast
with the sharp fluctuations of the amen break. Slamming in mercilessly, 'Channeling Bryn Jones' opens
up the B-side, its fluttering rhythms joining together with an infectious klaxon melody before the IDM
stylings of 'Brain Massage' closes out. Purest State Confusion was recorded at various locations in Leipzig and Berlin.
Final touches and mixing assistance were performed by Mike Bierbach at the WSNWG studios. The pioneering techno producer
inflects the record with his staunch taste for aerobic club rhythmics, teasing out the whirling tempos and
pointillistic harmonics.

On Gift n Curse Principle, Jnn Aprl puts forth her own signature interpretation of “techno”, relying on her art school drop out sensibilities and analog ear. After spending the better portion of the last decade immersing herself in the heartland of electronic music, The Seoul by way of Chicago by way of Detroit by way of Seoul again producer and DJ is proud to present the debut of her new EP as well as her new label, Rene Koala.

Find on the record a set of tracks spanning the gamut, made with the assistance of a MPC 1000, a Prophet Synth, vocal effect and some grit. For the dancers and for the artist alike, each song represents a journey. 'Gift n Curse Principle' employs a minimal beat with raw intention. ‘Freedom Bondage’ taps into a low frequency and steady modulation, emulating a heartbeat. All tracks ask to be heard in their entirety.

41 Minutes Past Midnight investigates painful emotions around losing loved ones without being able to get any closure, how do we move forward without answers in the face of unexplained, heartbreaking tragedy.

6EQUJ5 aka the Wow! signal first detected on August 5th 1977 shifts the perspective out into the constellation of Sagittarius from where the signal is thought to have originated. In 2022 we learned that 3 distant Sun-like stars within the original antenna-pointed coordinates may provide the answer but at a vast distance of 1800 light years from earth, since then, it's all gone quiet... What world reached out from the cosmos, intentionally or mistakenly...

The final track Celestial Beings asks the age old question of what other life exists across the universe, how advanced are these civilizations that may already be exploring distant galaxies with our shared sense of curiosity and when will we be able to connect collectively with such conscious entities.

Überkeine sets the tone of his own record label with four esoteric tracks, designed for the club. An obvious intention to establish a radical style with conceptualized sonorities, is revealed throughout the Ep. The sound materials are elaborate, and go straight to the point. Obsessing over the flow of creativity offered by his modular synthesizer, he delivers a very dense techno and already affirms a well-marked identity. Powerful and textured kicks, intricate synthetic sounds contained in an arrangement reduced to the essential. The tracks come to life as the forthright reflection of the thoughts of the producer. Guillotine Whistle instantly plunges into the unbridled world of the Ep. An ominous atmosphere hovers over our heads as it reveals organic and disconcerting tones. A gentle brutality emanates from this whistling guillotine that awaits to cut you up in two. Leading the way towards Drifting Data, a track inspired directly from Jungle Patterns. Überkeine is humbly trying to render DnB to a techno format. The dense, saturated Bassline sustains the idea of breaking the dancefloor in pieces. A hard hitting, broken beat environment accompanied by heavily filtered synthetic chaos. Third track’s the charm, the B side starts with Mirror Moist. A drop-down, wet and straightforward techno track with a carnal Bassline. As sensual as it gets, this track conveys a kinky loop urging intimacy and blasting heat throughout the club. Last but not least, Shaney’s remix of Mirror Moist. Picking up core elements of the original vibe and translating it into the off-beat techno nightmare it deserved to be. Full-on obscure dancefloor piece of equipment.

Drumsauw announced debut release 'Focus' on DCLTD.

Drumsauw, the rising techno prodigy also known as Joseph Sutherland, is gearing up for his highly anticipated debut on DCLTD. With a rapid ascent since 2017 and support from industry titans like Adam Beyer and Ritchie Hawtin, Drumsauw's arrival on the label promises an electrifying fusion of driving beats and impeccable production finesse.

'Focus' fires like a jackhammer, a piercing slice of percussive techno that reveals an atmospheric side as metallic synths enter at the mid-way mark and the momentum into dreamier territory.

'Set Back' is a highly effective cut built around ultra crisp drum work, shuffling kicks, a mind warbling vocal and menacing synth line.

‘Badly Written Songs’ is, of course, a tongue-in-cheek title. It comprises a carefully structured and well-produced array of songwriting, topped and tailed with live instrumentation, commanding vocal performances and high-end production: the result of years of sound engineering and music production experience. Since the last album, Ross Hillard has continually honed his skills whilst earnestly crafting this sophomore long player. As well as developing a range of audio plugins, Ross also manages recording sessions at his own Paddocks Recording Studios: huge live spaces boast cutting-edge technology, integrated with distinguished analogue kit. The studio is complemented by a collection of prized microphones, together with a fully-restored vintage Raindirk mixing desk.

The opening track and first single from this album is the positively-anthemic gem entitled ‘Good Morning Sunshine’. It tells a forward-looking story promoting the merits of getting back into the driving seat of life. It’s propelled further by superb jazz-inspired drums and live horns that build up to an exhilarating crescendo. Featuring the vocal talents of Sophia Marshall, the story she paints is supported by a wonderful, darkly humorous cartoon video. An animated cadaver hilariously acts out her notions of positive living.
Other tracks also destined for a single release include: ‘Loving You’. It’s a song written around love lost. A bouncing house composition lays the foundations for Sophia Marshall's beautiful vocal that narrates the many facets to be found in loving another person. ‘Better’ again echoes jazz-inspired drums behind Sophia's vocals, drawing attention to how so many people are lost on their devices, missing out on the awesome world around them. A catchy chorus chants the notion behind this song, i.e., that you ‘could be better!’ This single is also supported by another fantastic video featuring the same comical, deceased character introduced through the ‘Good Morning Sunshine’ video.

Yore is on something like a roll at the moment. Think of Kaidi Tatham's “It never Stops EP”, or the much acclaimed version of Frankie Knuckles Tears by Chicago's Elbert Philips & Andre Espeut or the recent series of classic Detroit Techno Ep's by our very own P0lyrhythm. A lot is to be expected with having had these under our belts. But as you'd expect, we draw out quick, faster than Lucky Luke's shadow - this time with a eeep as its gets Techno EP by ReKaB.

His “My Future and my Past EP” dives deeper into Techno territory and will do get people movin' and groovin` without a doubt.

Since the early 90s Rotterdam is known throughout the world of dance music for its many influential creative endeavours and one of these was the short-lived label See Saw. Active between 1991 and 1995, the label was the home to mostly Dutch producers who were just dipping their toes in the waters of house and techno. Or, who already had a whole leg in like Speedy J.

Sandwiched between two of his early releases as The Melody (Discogs detectives know what’s up!) sits The Jewel EP, the only EP Gijs Vroom did under his Diamonds & Pearls alias. A kind stranger online once described the record as effective and joyful and we couldn’t agree more. It’s a mixed bag of zippy breaks, swirling pads, tight Lately basses, and foxy vocal snips and like many records of the era it maximises charm with minimal equipment. It’s these kinds of twelve-inches that stood at the cradle of the Dutch house sound and so it is very deserving of a little nook in your record bag.

Chontane delivers six dynamic techno cuts via his 'Sycamore' EP on Mutual Rytm.

A firm fixture of the VOLTAGE roster and a rising name originating from Ukraine making an impact, Berlin-based DJ and producer Chontane is quickly finding his feet following a string of EPs via ARTS, Lobster Theremin and Rekids Special Projects. Already playing key clubs at the age of just 18, blurring the lines between techno, breaks and electro with his growing trademark sound, his performances across Berlin and beyond have captured the attention of many as he showcases his up-front and powerful sound.
