For WOLFEP088, we’re welcoming an Italian stallion to the WOLF stable. DJ Soch is a renowned DJ, producer, and label owner whose roots in house music run deep. Beginning his journey behind the decks in the mid-1980s, he has spent more than four decades honing a sound shaped by house, techno, disco, funk, hip-hop, and the timeless influence of Detroit and Chicago. As the founder of Black Angus Records and a resident DJ at the renowned Italian club Serendipity, he has shared lineups with some of the best to ever do it, helping to shape Italy’s underground electronic music scene.
When his tracks hit the WOLF inbox, we knew we were onto something special. The first one we heard, ‘Let Me Tell You’, was an instant yes, must sign moment. There’s skippy drums, warm keys, church organ, a heavy bassline and a pleading, soulful male vocal. One of those tracks that should come with a neck-brace. Soulful, but powerful. There’s also a ‘Power Mix’ version that keeps all the elements we loved, but strips back the vocal and ramps up the church organ. Absolute Holy Ghoster! This is the type of track that would have torn up the dance floor at the Shelter, a real Timmy Regisford tops-off jam.
On the flip, there’s a hypnotic deep house groove entitled, ‘Chewing Gum’. This is proper stuff, heads-down, deep house for the dance floor. We’ve paired it with a remix from Prince Palmer, one of the standout remixers of recent years, and a great group of guys. The Prince has delivered a reinterpretation that gives a nod to 90s US Garage, complete with all the trademark production chops you would expect from a regular on the stellar Bobby Donny label. It’s a track that wouldn’t sound out of place on a peak-period Strictly Rhythm 12”, so that’s all you need to know.

With Bad Idea, Warsaw-based Ukrainian artist uiava delivers Groovebox’s first-ever vinyl release: a five-track journey through house and electro, balancing warmth, tension, groove, and emotion across a 12” and digital EP. Bad Idea Pt.1 opens the record with a playful and constantly evolving house cut full of unexpected turns, swinging grooves, and subtle details. Fellow Warsaw artist PayoYayo reshapes the original into a driving, tool-focused reinterpretation, hypnotic, functional, and built for the darker hours of the dancefloor. On A3, Bad Idea Pt.2 sharpens the rhythm with restless percussion, rolling movement, and stripped-back energy designed to lock bodies into motion without ever standing still. Berlin-based artist Nat Wendell opens the B-side with a timeless nine-minute reform remix of Bad Idea Pt.3. Milan's Dirty Channels bring their polished club sound to RNT with the Jungle Echoes EP, seamlessly marrying influences of various international dance-floor vibes. Portuguese techno mainstay Dextro drops cultured EP 'Covil Dos Abutres' for his label debut on Mutual Rytm.
Dextro has been immersed in electronic music and DJing since the early 90s. In the decades since, he has become synonymous with a sound deeply rooted in simplicity and authenticity. Fuelled by a passion for his craft, his production process is guided by intuition and spans a diverse range of styles, from tunnelling grooves to more potent techno with deep and hypnotic layers. He has held several key residencies and released on top labels like CLR and Missile Records, and he adds to those with a first outing on SHDW's Mutual Rytm with 'Covil Dos Abutres'.
The five-track 12" and eight-track digital EP has a sleek, stripped-back style, with wide-spanning corners of the techno realm explored. 'Covil Dos Abutres' is a deep space transmission with journeying, frictionless beats and deft sci-fi motifs that recall classic touches synonymous with the genre's pioneers. CEPX002 is around the corner and marks the second chapter of the X Series on CEP Records. With this release we welcome vinyl head Eubo from Glasgow to the label. From the first track he sent us it was clear that this is the direction we want to push. A strong old-school influence, shaped by vinyl culture and the energy of the early two thousands. The connection felt natural from the start.
A1 'Iron' is probably the most intense track on the record. A rolling bassline, sharp and slippy drums, and a lead that lays over the track with deep mids. It brings a short moment of calm, while the drive stays constant. A2 'Aluminium' stands out with its clear high hats and a modular synth that recalls sweaty and dark mornings. The sound has a slightly hypnotic and metallic touch. On the B side, 'Steel' moves through the interplay of its synths. The kick and bass stay steady and driving. A timeless track that can underline the peak moments in a DJ set. Closing the release is 'Lead'. It brings a funky bass together with serious, almost contrasting synth stabs.

On Board Music returns with its next remixes package. Following the "Point C Remixes" in 2024, the Rotterdam based label now revisits four tracks taken from its charity compilations "The Meaning of Time" and "The Meaning of Time II" - all reimagined by fellow On Board artists. Born during the global health crisis of 2020, "The Meaning of Time" series explored the shifts, fractures, and altered perceptions of time experienced during that period. This new remix edition not only reshapes selected pieces through the vision of close label affiliates and takes them closer to the dancefloor, but also sees all tracks freshly remastered by Neel. The four tracks were given a new life in two different ways - by remastering and reinterpretation. Luigi Tozzi treats Polygonia's aquatic ambient piece "Magnetic Force" and pushes the track deeper into dark and hypnotic late night territories. Vera Logdanidi's emotionally charged arpeggiated electronic work "Water bubble Floating In Space" receives a peak-time reinterpretation by Non Series head Psyk. Swedish artist Dorisburg reworks Human Space Machine's "Danz7" into a dreamier and more percussive journey. Closing the release in true deep On Board fashion is label head Laura BCR, who reinterprets Bas Dobbelaer's "T2310" in an earthy and textured manner, while keeping its ambient techno & dubby spirit vividly alive. Life In Patterns welcomes Amsterdam-based live act and producer VNTM for his debut appearance on the label with “Ostbahn”, a five-track EP arriving on vinyl and digital formats on 24 July 2026. For VNTM, Ostbahn marks a departure from his usual creative process. While most of his productions are conceived and developed within the familiarity of his studio, every track on this release originated elsewhere — each one tied to a specific place, encounter, or moment beyond its walls. These external sparks became the foundation for a collection that feels both deeply personal and unmistakably geared towards the dance floor. Across the EP, VNTM explores the intersection of emotional depth and physical intensity. Nearly a decade on from his last release, Andy Hart returns with three tracks for Axis of People’s fourth outing. Inspired by the friends who kept him close to the music through his time away, Life à l’Orange is a nod to the records that brought them together in the first place.
Hemisphere picks up where things left off; dubbed-out, driving, warm. Signal Flow and Serenity Now move into lusher, more uplifting territory, rich with the harmony and texture that define the sound. Fantastic Man closes things out with a remix of Serenity Now that takes the original somewhere looser and more hypnotic.

For their first release, it was pretty obvious for Hypnophone to give a new life to an all-time favorite but forgotten project : GLO. Released in 1995 on CD’s only, « Even As We » is the first and last album of the duo, composed of Stephan Lewry and Gilli Smyth, both ex-members of the legendary rock band GONG and pioneers of psychedelic music.
This double LP, carefully handcrafted and redesigned, is the result of a lovely 2 years collaboration between Hypnophone and Stephan. Returning to Samurai Music following last year's Between Veils, Sciama opens up a new portal of exacting sonic exploration with Wave Interaction. Moving through dense drone shrouds, steely sound design and tense, taut rhythms, Michael Watters lays out a manifesto for waveform resonance within the half-time D&B tempo range. Wave Interaction is the precursor to a forthcoming album that will lay out a purposeful study of the interaction between machine-made sound waves and human perception, inspired by the teachings of early electronic music pioneer Daphne Oram. As an opening statement, 'Cele' maximises on a patient, spacious arrangement that allows the carefully sculpted layers of waveforms to resonate with minimal distractions. Far from minimal, it's a dense and evocative sound world Watters builds up. 'Excitation' brings more detailed percussive sequencing into the mix, teasing pin-prick snatches of breakbeats and designer ripples that dart around the psychoactive tonal elements in the mix. 'Intermodulaton I' opens the second half of Wave Interaction on a crisp, stepping beat more than ready for the club. As ever, functionality is only one part of the picture as further uncanny sheets of ambiguously tuned synth work unfurl across the austere framework. 'Shifting Formants' has a knottier, tunnelling quality that joins the dots with techno hypnotism, made all the more immersive by the harmonic overtones radiating off the vibrant lead lines that give the track its distinctive character. Guided by a clear intention and a finely honed studio practice, the return of Sciama hails an impactful addition to his considerable catalogue and tees up further compelling exploration on the impending long player.
D91LINKSERIES_01 inaugurates a new split record series by Distrito 91 focused on connecting artists, sonic identities and parallel visions through the classic 12” format.
For its first transmission, the series brings together two projects emerging from different areas of Spain’s underground electronic landscape: Geistform and Half Mute.
On Side A, Geistform, also known for his electro alias Univac, delivers three tracks driven by raw machine energy, analogue sequences and industrial pressure. His sound draws from rhythmic noise and minimal electronics, evoking the mechanical intensity of the European industrial tradition.
Side B features Half Mute, an alias of Madrid based artist Groof, one of the long standing figures connected to the Spanish underground techno scene. His tracks move through dark electro structures, hypnotic sequencing and minimalist techno, balancing tension and functionality within a distinctly nocturnal atmosphere.
Fresh from fine outings on Legofunk Records and Scruniversal Records, Frank Virgilio pops up on historycal Hollywood Records with a quartet of warm and seductive workouts. He kicks things off via the sun down beauty and latin mood of "Is This The Spirit Of The Party ?", before joining the dots between beatdown, disco 80' and dancefloor on the bubbly and hypnotic "That's The Groove!" The other side is dedicated to a double version of a classic killer dancefloor of 80' " DJ's Talk" by the american singer Vivien Reed . Frank Virgilio and L.D.F. aka Lello Di Franco give 2 different ways to read the track . A slightly bolder than the original (but no less deep) mixture of drifting melodies, head-nodding house beats, groovy bass, select vocal snippets and enveloping chords.
Joves, the alias of Joseph Tagliabue, arrives on space•lab with Escape — a beautifully constructed four-track journey through deep techno, minimalism and acid.
Escape (Into The Forest Mix) sets the tone with brooding atmospheres, hypnotic rhythms and intricate textures, unfolding into a deeply immersive opener. Morphosis strips things back into leaner territory — a rolling minimal groove built around subtle movement, tension and alien electronics.
On the flip, Escape (Acid Space Mix) pushes forward with driving energy, fusing resonant acid lines with propulsive drums and clinical sound design for a powerful late-night workout. Closing track Aurora Lunare brings the EP to an emotional finish, combining melodic flourishes and euphoric harmonics.
TuneMelt Records returns with its second release, featuring four deep and groove-led tracks from O’FortyFour, Kurilo and Hozy. Moving between hypnotic minimal rhythms, subtle progressive atmospheres and playful dancefloor energy, the EP showcases the label’s evolving sound: warm, rolling, immersive and built for extended sets.
