‘Blood Spilled’ - the latest single from Blonde
Redhead - pairs cascading guitars, relentless

‘ROSEBUD’ is the tenth album from Current Joys,
the solo project of Surf Curse drummer Nick
Rattigan - and his boldest reinvention yet.
Written during a difficult period and reworked
alongside producer never goodbye (Danny
Dwyer), the record transforms a set of strippedback slowcore songs into a maximalist collage of
nu metal, screamo, electronica, hip-hop, powerpop, emo and darkwave.

& C.Tappin return with ‘Lightworks’, their first
release with DeepMatter Records. Crafted over
eight years, the album marks a bold new chapter
for the trio, moving beyond the sample-led
production of previous releases in favour of fully
live instrumentation.
Blending jazz, soul and hip-hop, ‘Lightworks’ is a
deeply personal record centred around
perseverance, hope and purpose, whilst
showcasing the trio’s most expansive and
accomplished work to date.

music spaces will support discovery and audience

Secret Boyfriend, the monumental and ongoing undertaking of Martin, has spanned labels, media, and DIY line-ups for more than a decade. Whenever Ryan comes up in conversation I am sure to bring up his home in North Carolina and how it is a testament to his commitment to media and artistic ethos having a place in the world. The walls and rooms are thoroughly covered in drawings, flyer ideas, cassette collections, VHS in heaps and piles, instruments that seem like they are still warm as if they were just played then sat down. Martin and his home act as a means to unbridled expression without the need to fill a gap in a mostly saturated world.
TIN081 lands from Norwegian ‘V.Christie’ & Dane ‘ELOQ’ who connected via TikTok before quickly realising in ELOQ’s Copenhagen studio that their connection was gonna spark something truly incendiary.
By now we all know about the Danish capital's bass fuelled garage scene – thanks in no small part to their now TIN label mate & ATW boss Main Phase amongst others – well now it’s time to add ELOQ & V.Christie to the list of Copenhagen based producers shaping the future of the sound. Over four tracks the pair show a preternatural ability for speed garage and bassline and a deep grasp of rolling two-step flow. Their sound is full of life and is pushing UKG forward.

Roma ist die fünfte und letzte Konzertaufnahme von Keith Jarretts hochgelobter finaler Europa-Solotournee
im Sommer 2016. Sie entstand am 12. Juli im Saal Santa Cecilia im Parco della Musica in Rom. Mit
einer Musik, die sich selbst innerhalb dieser außergewöhnlichen Reihe deutlich hervorhebt, bildet sie den
Abschluss dieses Kapitels. Wie die italienische Tageszeitung ‚La Repubblica‘ damals treffend schrieb:
„Letztlich zelebriert Jarrett ein zeitloses Ritual – eines, das in mancher Hinsicht so alt ist wie die Menschheit
selbst. Er würdigt den schöpferischen Akt, die spontane Komposition, und tut dies vor Publikum, indem
er mit den Zuhörern die Spannung und Freude des Entdeckens teilt.“ Der Verlauf dieses Abends, zugleich

die Leinwand freigeräumt und mit reicher Chromatik gefüllt, bevor der vertraute Anschlag und lyrische
Passagen unerwarteten kontrapunktischen Wendungen, Momenten von kristalliner Lyrik und Abschnitten
rhythmischer Eindringlichkeit weichen. So entsteht ein großes musikalisches Architekturgefüge. So wie
die Konzerte in Budapest, Bordeaux, München und Wien jeweils eine eigene musikalische Landschaft
offenbarten, präsentiert Roma nun noch ein letztes Mal eine weitere – unverwechselbar und ganz von ihrer
eigenen Art.
„Nur wenige zeitgenössische, vom Jazz beeinflusste Sängerinnen schaffen es, so intensiv nach sich selbst
zu klingen und dabei aus einer solchen Vielfalt von Genres, Sprachen und kulturellen Hintergründen zu
schöpfen wie die in Albanien geborene Sängerin Elina Duni“, hat schon der britische Guardian festgestellt
– und Reaching for the Moon spannt nun erneut einen weiten musikalischen Bogen. Es ist Dunis dritte
Aufnahme mit dem britischen Gitarristen Rob Luft. Während Lost Ships und A Time To Remember ihr
gemeinsam geleitetes Quartett in den Mittelpunkt stellten, tritt hier das Kernduo in den Vordergrund –
in einem Programm, das mit dem Titelsong aus der Feder von Irving Berlin beginnt und mit Ornette
Colemans „Lonely Woman“ endet. Dazwischen hören wir Eigenkompositionen von Duni und Luft, traditionelle Musik aus dem Kosovo, ein Wiegenlied der persischen Sängerin Mahsa Vahdat, eine Ballade des
italienischen Singer-Songwriters Pino Daniele, das Kunstlied „Les Berceaux“ des französischen Komponisten Gabriel Fauré, Filmmusikthemen des japanischen Komponisten Shigeru Umebayashi und des polnischen
Komponisten Krzysztof Komeda – und mehr. „Unser Duo, unser Projekt, ist eine musikalische Reise“, sagt
Elina. „Wir nutzen verschiedene Stile und verschiedene Sprachen, um die Distanz zwischen Menschen zu
überbrücken.“ Dunis Einfallsreichtum als Sängerin wird dabei von Lufts instrumentalen Fähigkeiten hervorragend ergänzt: Der Gitarrist bewegt sich mühelos zwischen unterschiedlichen Stilwelten, umhüllt Melodien
sanft, unterstreicht den emotionalen Ausdruck der Songtexte und vertieft die atmosphärische Wirkung der
Stücke. Reaching for the Moon wurde im Juni 2025 in den Studios La Buissonne im Süden Frankreichs
aufgenommen. Das von Manfred Eicher produzierte Album erscheint zeitgleich mit einer Europatournee
von Elina Duni und Rob Luft, die Konzerte in Italien, Deutschland, dem Vereinigten Königreich, der Schweiz
und Albanien umfasst.
Chineke! Orchestra bringt Tschaikowskys Weihnachtsklassiker zum Swingen: In der Bearbeitung von Duke
Ellington und Billy Strayhorn treffen die beliebten Melodien aus „Der Nussknacker“ auf lebendige Jazzrhythmen und farbenreiche Orchesterklänge. Die Live-Aufnahme aus der Londoner Royal Festival Hall
erschien erstmals 2023 digital und kommt nun als besondere Weihnachtsedition auf Vinyl.

“Child Song”, das 1970 auf Deram erschienene Debütalbum von Henry Lowther, zählt zu den gesuchten
Raritäten des britischen Jazz. Der Trompeter, Flügelhornist und Violinist spielte unter anderem mit John
Mayall, Manfred Mann und der Keef Hartley Band, mit der er 1969 beim legendären Woodstock Festival
auftrat. Auf “Child Song” verbindet Lowther Post-Bop und freie Improvisation mit den neuen elektrischen
Klängen des Jazz-Rock. E-Piano, E-Bass und Violine sorgen für einen bemerkenswert modernen Sound,
der Einflüsse von Miles Davis’ “In A Silent Way” und “Bitches Brew” erkennen lässt.

die der Saxofonist Frank Tiberi zwischen 1960 und 1964 insgeheim in Clubs in New York und Philadelphia
aufnahm. Mehr als sechs Jahrzehnte blieben die Bänder weitgehend ungehört. Sie dokumentieren Coltrane
gemeinsam mit seinen legendären Mitstreitern in einer der aufregendsten Phasen seiner künstlerischen Entwicklung.
Dies sind keine konventionellen Konzertmitschnitte – ihr historischer Klang kann nicht mit Studioaufnahmen verglichen werden, zeugt aber von den abenteuerlichen Umständen ihrer Entstehung. Dafür kommt
man als Hörer John Coltrane auf der Bühne erstaunlich nahe: suchend, experimentierend und seine Musik
immer weiter vorantreibend. Für die Jazzwelt ist diese Veröffentlichung ein außergewöhnliches Ereignis!

Eddie “Lockjaw” Davis with Shirley Scott, auch bekannt als Moodsville Volume 4, wurde 1960 aufgenommen und über Prestiges Moodsville-Label veröffentlicht. Auf dem Album trifft Saxofonist Eddie „Lockjaw“ Davis auf Organistin Shirley Scott, begleitet von George Duvivier am Bass und Arthur Edgehill am
Schlagzeug.
Im Jahr 1973 folgte nach dem Debutalbum von Roxy Music das zweite Album mit dem Titel „For Your
Pleasure“. Für die Produktion des Albums konnte die Band mehr Zeit im Studio verbringen, was zu einer
aufwändigeren und experimentelleren Produktion führte. Brian Enos Mischung aus Tape-Loop-Effekten ist
in „The Bogus Man“ unüberhörbar und „Do the Strand“ wird als die typische Roxy Music-Hymne gefeiert.
Das Album schaffte es bis auf Platz 4 in den britischen Albumcharts.
„For Your Pleasure” wurde von Miles Showell in den Abbey Road Studios neu gemastert. Um die verbesserte
Audioqualität widerzuspiegeln, wurde das Artwork überarbeitet und mit einer glänzenden Laminierung versehen, sodass das Album nicht nur eine Schallplatte, sondern ein Kunstwerk ist.

Goonies“ eine Gruppe kleiner Helden in ein aufregendes Abenteuer voller Überraschungen hinter jeder
Ecke, das ihre kühnsten Träume übertrifft! Sie folgen einer geheimnisvollen Schatzkarte in ein spektakuläres
unterirdisches Reich aus verwinkelten Gängen, ausgeklügelten Fallen und einem längst verschollenen Piratenschiff voller goldener Dublonen.
Marking Dwarde’s debut on Up Ya Archives, the first single ‘Show Me’ from his forthcoming EP ‘Energy Exchange’ carries the torch of ‘94-style hardcore while sitting comfortably alongside the new-gen jungle spirit both the label and DJ himself hav e become known for. Built on the energy and rhythmic vocabulary of the old school, but bringing the rawness and euphoria of that era onto modern dancefloors.
Speaking on the single, Dwarde said:
“I was in the middle of making lunch as the house tune with the piano sample came on the radio. It’s a big fave of mine and I was surprised that although it’s 32 years old it hadn’t ever been sampled in hardcore before, so I made the tune immediately after - it came together really quickly.”
Hailing from Darlington and now based in London, Dwarde is a key figure in the contemporary breakbeat and jungle revival as a producer and DJ. With releases on labels like Future Retro and Deep Jungle, and gigs at parties like Rupture, Dekmantel, Distant Planet and Outlook - he’s established himself as one of the scene’s most distinctive voices.
‘Energy Exchange’ brings both sides of that sound together across four tracks: two jungle cuts and two leaning into the brighter, happier end of hardcore, each with big vocals at its centre. Speaking on the EP, Dwarde said:
“I wanted to represent both jungle and the happier hardcore styles, so I’m glad that two of each will be released, all with big vocals at the centre! They’re actually the first set of tunes I’ve finished in a couple of years so I was buzzing to put them all out.
Rubbermaidxxx is a recent music performance project by the Irish artist Anna McCarthy, rather than simply the title of one autonomous artwork. Rubbermaidxxx is a character or unstable identity, an emancipatory underdog with a heart for daredevilry. The project sits naturally within McCarthy’s larger practice, which moves between drawing, assemblage, happenings and collective actions.
Clad in a black balaclava and fetish climbing wear, she abseils from buildings before entering the stage. For the first performance in New York City, she was invited by Kyp Malone of TV on the Radio to perform at his club Francis Kite Club in Alphabet City, NYC and since has continued to make a name for herself hanging off façades, singing, dancing and mopping the floor together with her performance collaborators Miss Philip a.k.a. Philip Errico and Michael Tapper at Pianos NYC, Kottbusser Tor and Genezarethkirche Berlin or the Villa Stuck Museum in Munich.
The album was produced in Munich and New York in 2025 in collaboration with her brother Nick McCarthy (Franz Ferdinand) and Anton Kaun (Rumpeln). What started as a quick improv turned into a high-energy 4-hour session of the siblings playing manic ball with beats, bass, guitars and vocals resulting in what laid the basis to this album. In the weeks following, Anna McCarthy, who is known for her cut-up production style, reminiscent of albums such as White Noise or Flying Lotus, continued to develop the vocals, performance and music by mixing in an amalgam of field recordings with her narrative spoken word, including sounds of protests, dollar stores or ice-cream trucks, as well as collaborating with the noise artist Rumpeln for the last two tracks of the album.
McCarthy is also known as the lyricist and singer of What Are People For? (debut 2022 on Alien Transistor) with its dystopic dance music candy-cane shows and equally humorously critical tongue-in-cheek bangers such as Bring back the Dirt, Drones or Partytime. Anna McCarthy's spoken word, social urgency and enthusiasm to experiment across mediums is comparable to other contemporaries such as Moor Mother, Miho Hatori, Gonjasufi, Tricky, or Cibo Matto.
The name itself is telling. Rubbermaidxxx evokes elasticity, artificiality, domestic labour and the commercial world of cleaning and garbage. It suggests a body capable of stretching, absorbing filth and cleaning up after society – only to revolt against the role it has been assigned.
Rubbermaidxxx is a master of deception, juggling fact and fiction as a reflection of our times – a diamond thief, a protester, or even responsible for the Louvre heist? This album invites the listener and viewer in, playfully dismantling hierarchies and power structures as she goes through a hopeful amalgam of dance, protest & love songs.

Kepler’s sound sits somewhere between deep house, garage swing and low-slung club pressure. Based in Leeds, he has developed a sound built around weighty basslines, rolling drums and an instinct for keeping ideas sounding fresh. Releases on Up The Stuss, Semi Delicious, Constant Sound and Rossi’s HOME//GRXWN. have helped establish and elevate that approach, with support from selectors including Ben UFO, Raresh, Chris Stassy, Four Tet and Interplanetary Criminal. Alongside his own productions, plus his labels Contact Music and Perspective, his Studio Orbit has grown into an online production community supporting thousands of artists, and he now returns to FUSE after his appearance alongside founder Enzo Siragusa in 2024 as part of the label’s X Series for his first solo release on the imprint.

It was through the first volume of the Musique Ambiante Française compilations that we met the hermit Dagerlöff. From a sanatorium and the depths of his own entrails, he delivered the aptly named From The Womb To The Tomb, which you may remember. Out of that dark period came a spark: the fleeting vision of a little girl running happily through a public garden struck Dagerlöff like a trigger. An urge to live, a visceral need for rebirth. From this epiphany came a vibrant ode to childhood and a return to innocence.
To give flesh to that vision, the artist withdrew from the world once more and, pushing his creativity to its limit, set out to recreate the sonic cocoon of his own youth. This debut album, “Solarpunk”, resurrects the magic of the Amblin productions (E.T., Gremlins, The Goonies, Young Sherlock Holmes…) where digital synth arpeggios embraced the warmth of orchestras, while summoning the epic energy of Japanese cartoon theme songs and the luminous aesthetic of Nintendo consoles.

Marques notably won a Latin Grammy Award for his work on the album Sim Sim Sim by the group Bala Desejo, one of the most significant Brazilian records of recent years. This approach gives APUAMA a warm, vibrant, and timeless sound, allowing the songs to breathe and highlighting the richness of the acoustic arrangements. More than just a collection of songs, APUAMA is a journal of an inner journey. It is an album that speaks of movement, memory, nature, and the passing on of things-reminding us that, beyond borders, distances, and absences, there is always a place where one can feel at home.
Some music travels well. Some takes its time. And some spends a few years underwater before deciding to come back up.
Such is the case with Ksky, Saint Petersburg native, DJ, synth enthusiast and the man behind Underwater Tales. Originally released into the world with little fanfare, these tales have been keeping a rather low profile ever since. Not quite forgotten, not exactly missing, just minding their own business somewhere below the surface. Time for a little fresh air.
Now resurfacing across two records, the collection brings together familiar faces, old acquaintances and a few unexpected arrivals. Previously released material rubs shoulders with additional tracks, including Gerd Janson's extended DJ mix of New Era. A small reunion of sorts, minus the awkward conversations.
Also along for the ride is Bad Philly. A deceptively simple piece of machinery with something strangely epic under the hood. No unnecessary detours, no lengthy explanations, just one breath, one story and a direct connection to the morning dancefloor. Sometimes the shortest route is the most scenic. Music for when the night has already happened, the sun is starting to ask questions and nobody seems particularly interested in going home.

Umwelt returns to his own Rave Or Die imprint with "Rave The System Vol. 1", a five-track EP built for the dance floor. The result is a direct and uncompromising EP: fast, heavy and deliberately excessive, with each track designed to hit the floor. "Rave The System Vol. 1" sees Umwelt reconnecting with the more liberated spirit of rave, pushing his techno and electro influences into tougher, more visceral territory while injecting the production with a distinctly old-school rave energy.
The A-side kicks off with "The Sequal", a straight-in-your-face anthem built around haunting, disappearing vocals and hammering beats, topped with heavily distorted, Arcadipane-esque Hoover tones. Next up, "Rough Cut" delivers a haunting workout based on metallic drums and dark synth flights, conjuring an unmistakable end-of-the-world vibe from its distorted textures.
On the flipside, the untouchable "Power To The B-Boyz" dives into a more syncopated and urban approach, driven by electro beats and a raw, break-heavy groove. "Blow Up Mission" follows with aggressive machine-driven rhythms melting into hip-hop-inflected vocal lines.
Finally, the opening track returns in "The Sequal (Lethal Mix)", a hypnotic rework that departs from the original through enigmatic riffs, dramatic funk melodies and a distinctly dystopian aesthetic.
The artwork comes courtesy of Docteur Lo, (BWP crew) a long-standing figure of the Brussels underground techno scene for over three decades, best known for his graphic work for the cult "Outsoon" magazine and the Radikal Fear label. His visual contribution perfectly complements the raw, underground character of this latest RAVE OR DIE release.
Every coastline develops its own rhythm. The Adriatic is no exception.
For decades, Italy’s eastern coast has been shaped by funk, Cosmic Disco, Balearic sounds, Italo Disco, House, Latin rhythms, Brazilian music and countless other influences. Rather than blending into a single style, these musical worlds have lived side by side, constantly inspiring new generations of DJs, musicians and dancers. For more than fifteen years, Soul Fingers and Funk Rimini have explored that landscape from different perspectives. Founded by Claudio Cavallaro in 2013, Soul Fingers grew into a vinyl-driven community where groove matters more than genre. Its philosophy has always been simple: if the groove is right, genres stop mattering. Brothers Ricky and Francesco Cardelli developed Funk Rimini into a project rooted in funk, disco, live performance and electronic production. Anima Adriatica is where these two journeys meet.
The project didn’t begin with the ambition of making an album. It began behind the turntables. As DJs, Claudio Cavallaro and Ricky Cardelli found themselves constantly searching for records capable of connecting distant musical worlds inside their sets; from Afrobeat into disco, from hip hop into Latin, from Brazilian grooves into boogie, from cosmic electronics into deep funk. Sometimes those records existed. More often, they didn’t. So they stopped searching and started writing them. Not records designed to belong to one genre, but records designed to travel between genres. That space between musical worlds became Anima Adriatica.
The music grew through spontaneous jam sessions with Ricky and Francesco Cardelli, drummer Enrico Mao Bocchini and, gradually, a wider circle of musicians, singers and longtime friends, making Anima Adriatica less a traditional band than the beginning of an open collective. Recorded at SynthPosio Studio, founded by Ricky and Francesco Cardelli inside Rimini’s iconic skyscraper, the project also carries a symbolic connection to the building itself, where many Italo Disco classics (including records by Betty Miranda, The Creatures and many others) were recorded decades earlier.
Betty Miranda returns not as a nostalgic guest, but as a bridge between generations. On the title track she performs a spoken-word text written by Claudio Cavallaro, reflecting on the invisible thread connecting the Adriatic dancefloor across time. From Baia degli Angeli to Cocoricò, from the legendary clubs of Riccione to today’s independent communities gathered around projects such as Soul Fingers and Funk Rimini, the places have changed, but the dancefloor continues to tell the same story. Much like Pier Vittorio Tondelli’s Rimini captured the Adriatic through literature, Anima Adriatica imagines its soundtrack.
Brazilian musician Daniel Plentz (Selton) expands that vision on Açúcar and Alegria, bringing another coastline into the story. Across its four tracks, the EP moves naturally between analogue funk, boogie, Brazilian music, underground disco, cosmic textures and the wider Black musical tradition, with All Down The Line paying tribute to the Paradise Garage era.
Released by Bordello A Parigi, the project found its natural home through a shared love of adventurous dance music, records and club culture. More than the title of an EP, Anima Adriatica marks the beginning of an open collective; a meeting point where musicians, DJs, producers and friends continue building bridges between genres, generations and communities.
Because Anima Adriatica doesn’t live inside a genre. It lives between genres. If soul music has always reflected the places where it was born, Anima Adriatica is simply our own Adriatic Soul.

For its second outing, Sonum invites Matteo Point, whose Acid People EP expands the label's catalogue with four cuts navigating the space between acid house, progressive textures and analogue-driven club music.
The title track, "Acid People," sets the tone with tightly wound 303 sequences, sparse drums and a hypnotic sense of momentum, landing somewhere between functional peak-time tool and late-night trip. "Fresh Morgen" follows with a rolling low end before gradually unfolding into darker, more melodic territory, recalling the subtle tension of late-'90s European underground records.

Based in Cornwall, Blind Yeo emerged from the isolation of lockdown. Built as an open collective, the project brings together musicians, visual artists and performers, developing a practice rooted in improvisation, live energy and shared creation. The Lemoine Point, their debut album, was recorded on a disused airfield near St Agnes. The title refers to a hidden geometric centre where lines converge, a metaphor that runs through the record as past, present and future meet within a single moment. Much of the album was captured live by a core ensemble including Sam Pert, Phil Self, Henry Greenham, Philippa Blum, Jake Sheridan, Will Greenham and Anouska Helm. Brisker, freakier tracks like “Shadow In The Dark,” “R U Serious?” and “Humanity” run towards a softer finish with “Somedays” and the seven-minute, eyeliner-smearing closing ballad, “Lullaby Garden.” These are proper songs made with vintage machines, with a sound that carries obvious influences. ’ The Seed’ pulses forward as the body of the beast is turned inside out, wearing a beating heart on its sleeve, honoring those who left us too soon - DAF’s Gabi Delgado, Nitzer Ebb’s Douglas McCarthy, Depeche Mode’s Andrew Fletcher, and Sandwell District’s Juan Mendez. It’s important to note the emotional core of ‘The Seed’ album is the song ‘Synchronicity’ that is filled with both love and regret, the story of losing a friend without properly making amends. It is unquestionably heartbreaking, but is also delivered with a pang of hope, the feeling that with so many sunrises caught, so many additions and subtractions in life, a perspective has been gained. The A-side delivers two sublime cuts drenched in that unmistakable Italo-Balearic magic. Warm chords, sun-kissed melodies and effortless grooves transport you straight back to the golden days of mid-'90s Italian house music. Eyes closed, you're cruising along the Riviera with the top down, lost in pure bliss.
Flip it over and the mood shifts firmly toward the dancefloor.
The B-side explores deeper territory, moving through a range of shades while keeping things locked into a tough, clubfocused framework. There's a distinct New York stomp running through these tracks—driving, hypnotic and full of attitude— yet they never lose the emotional depth and musicality that have become a Westcoast Goddess trademark.
Just when you think the journey is complete, the EP saves its ace for last. Closing things out is a hypnotic funk groove built around silky Rhodes, a tight rhythm section and an iconic bassline—a fitting finale that leaves a lasting impression.
