AM, clearly influenced by those days of glory, presents on their vinyl debut an outstanding EP that sometimes could remind to the best FRONT 242 period and sometimes could remind to be listening to the late 80's NewBeat top hymns at Boccaccio, surely anyone will remain indifferent to AM. There's a reason why so many of house music's early releases have endured over the decades. The best
of them have a quality that defies logic. Early house records like Heard's own "Washing Machine," or
the "No Way Back" by Adonis, still have the power to stun listeners and drive clubs wild. They sound
alien and beautiful, simultaneously ingrained within us and so unlike everything that followed. And
few sound as beautiful, or as alien, as "Can You Feel It."
By 1986, Heard—who was born and bred in Chicago and been playing in bands as a drummer—had already
proved to the world that he was a master of poignant, enthralling house. The previous year's elegant
Mystery of Love,' originally released on Alleviated Records, had featured an insistent ascending
bassline repeating under a plaintive, swooning analog synth, with a gentle, conga-led rhythm setting
the pace. It was soon rerecorded in a slightly more fleshed-out style, this time featuring frequent
collaborator Robert Owens on vocals—'There's a moment in our lives when we all must try the mystery of
love'—and rereleased on D.J. International.
The song helped to set the Larry Heard template: A hollowed-out bass underlies percolating percussion,
while a deceptively spare instrumentation lays out a wistful, yearning melody, all blanketed with
ethereal ambience. But Can You Feel It,' released by Trax Records the next year on an EP that also
boasts the equally dreamy Washing Machine,' took that mold and refined it into exquisite, crystalline
form. As with most house of the era—the components of Can You Feel It' are few. There's a throbbing
kick, tuned so loosely as to make it feel like the head's in danger of falling from the drum, cascading
hi-hats, shivering and shimmering, a three-chord synth pattern that flirts with melancholy, occasional
distant pads and crisp countermelody, and most of all, that angular, acidic low-end. With this track,
along with Washing Machine,' Heard had perfected his signature bass sound: an alien signal, caving in
upon itself, that's simultaneously soothing and a little bit disconcerting. In 1986, it seemed like a
beacon from the farthest reaches of the galaxy, even today, it's one of the most identifiable tones in
electronic music.
Heard himself has claimed to have little distinct memory of making Can You Feel It,' saying it was
merely the result of fooling around with some newly acquired gear. But apparently, Can You Feel It'
was first laid down on tape in 1984, the same session yielded a much slower, 110-BPM prototype of
Mystery of Love.' Roland's Juno-60 polyphonic synthesizer provided the bass and melody, while the
drums were courtesy of a TR-909. A friend came up with the song's title, Heard has admitted in
interviews that he's not adept at naming his own work. The track ended up in the hands of the
influential Chicago DJs of the era—Frankie Knuckles, Ron Hardy, et al—and eventually made its way to
Trax Records' Vince Lawrence. A few years later, alternate versions of Can You Feel It' surfaced, many
of these with Vocals Samples that detracted from something that was already graceful and full of
feeling. And really, how could anything improve upon the transcendent '86 Trax release, a song that
feels like a blissful caress

As felines usually do, TYV's latest effort and Gop Tun's fourth enterprise purrs and prances along with elegance and nonchalance. From the first elements of percussion up until the last trace of reverbed and delayed textures leave the speakers finally at rest, Miau engulfs its listeners in a powerful stream of melodic strength and rhythmic intensity. Not surprisingly all of this mojo relies heavily on very typical chromatic nuances, familiar to anyone who's acquainted with Brasil's rich musical diversity and solid foundations.

Miau is a ritualistic utterance, an onomatopoeic journey that takes us deep into an utopic place where innocence is untainted and our best memories are left untouched, but never forgotten. Features that are somehow enhanced in Tuff City Kid's own Lauer's version, which is Idyllic in its pads and entrancing in its beats, but still elegantly nostalgic in its feel.
Da Terra maintains the festive atmosphere and heats up the oven a tad more. Some earthly delights await those willing to cross the dense layering of percussive vegetation and arrive at a beautiful glade where the main hook meets the strings and chants that conjure a particular vibe of uplifiting melancholia.
This is a feast for your senses, guaranteed to overload your neurotransmitters just like our native meals.

New to the NAAR stable, In:State & Giuli make their debut in stunning style.Visitoz is a straight forward techno affair, as bumping as it is surprising. Using a deceptively simple gated arp and horn to dazzlingly complex effect. The track is potentially the most peak time NAAR has gone yet, and it's an incredibly welcome addition to their canon. On remix duty Lauer takes a hold of the main arpeggio and turns it monstrous in the style of Liasions Dangeruese, yet balances this with his trademark lightness of touch and his ear for a heart wrenching synth line, creating an instant classic that feels like it was beamed straight in from 1986. "Plus 1" has been sent from a parallel dimension where the evolution of music took a turn so different that Proto Garage stands where Proto House should be. The track has the step and swagger of the most compelling end of the 2 step movement, but balances that with the surprising naivete and earnestness found in Italo, EBM and early forays from Chicago. Finishing things off, Lizards return to the label for a welcome encore following last years success with their 1st release,Tanni.

'THE END' is a 90BPM monster.Easily suited for lovers of Balearic, one of those rare slow tracks that can really rock a dance floor. The PATCHOULI BROTHERS are up and comers from Toronto, with a 12' on BASIC FINGERS, 'CHEAT, LIE, KILL, DIE' is a mid tempo stomper. A versatile track easily blended with disco or house, and a hook so catchy, crowds are singing along before the end of the track. WILL MARTIN opens up the B-side with pure fire. 'ROCK ME AGAIN' is the transformation of a 2 minute JAMES BROWN production into 7 and a half minutes of dance floor ecstasy.MARTIN is known for lo-fi house, with releases on 2MR, DOLLY, ARGOT, and SUPPLY RECORDS. STUDEBAKER HAWK closes us out with the B-Boy jam, 'SAY AFRICA'. Breaks for days, and even a heavy guitar solo. This track is for lovers of deep disco, classic hip hop, and Afrobeat. embarked on a trip to Cuba to participate in Two Beats One Soul' album on RVMK Records. The Results were four tracks on the album and one of them a very unique song Music And Life' featuring the sultry and angelic voice of Anané Vega. The song was penned by Josh Milan, and Louie Vega contributed with the music. Gene Perez on Electric Bass, Josh & Axel Tosca on Keyboards, and Luisito Quintero on Percussion. Released as a digital single recently, it's now on many radio and club charts worldwide, as well featured on compilations. On top of all this momentum Vega Records, then reached out to RVMK Records and licensed the track for a special picture vinyl release. The picture vinyl is a collectors piece, get your hands on it fast as there will be a limited number made. Another rare nugget culled from West Ends incredibly influential back catalog. "There's Never Been Someone Like You" is a smoothed out soulful Disco jam and a Paradise Garage classic! Produced by the mighty Kenton Nix whose credits include working on records for Taana Gardner, Gwen McCrae and The Treacherous Three among many others and featuring the exceptional vocal talents of underground Soul singer Bobby Youngblood.

Kenton Nix was something of a prodigious production talent who worked on numerous independent and major label projects and was a good friend of Larry Levan and had the honor of hearing his rough mixes and versions through the Paradise Garage sound-system which helped shape the end result of the records he was involved in. "There's Never Been Someone Like You" has always been a popular and sought after 12" among Disco / Boogie / Funk collecting aficionados since it's release nearly 34 years ago in 1980 and continues to be an influential record now in contemporary dance music. An utterly essential Disco-groove!

This is the very first time this record has been re-issued and this pressing features both the long "dance" version and shorter 7" mixes of the track just like the original pressing from 1980. It has been re-mastered and re-pressed with the permission of and in conjunction with West End Records, New York City.

While being a rare Patrick Adams and Billy Nichols production, Mary Clark's 'Take me I'm Yours' has in recent years become one of the most celebrated Disco tracks by contemporary Deejays.

This borderline Gospel-Disco Gem has all the elements of a timeless Disco Cut; a driving bass line, powefully arranged strings and horns, but most importantly, a very soulful performance by Mary Clark.
Like many of Peter Brown's 'affliate' labels, little is known about them or the artists recorded. Originaly released in 1980 on 'La Shawn', it is rumored to have been no more than 200 records originally pressed, making this one of the most sought 12 inches among collectors.

However Leave it to someone like Dimitri from Paris who edited and included 'Take me i'm yours' on his 'The Kings Of Disco' compilation from 2004 to give this virtualy unknown song a new life and a whole new audience. Even as recently as last year, Mary Clark's song of 'devotion' made it's way into a BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix, courtesy of Floating Points, and frankly, there's probably not a bigger audience than that.

Earthboogie's debut album, Human Call, rightly earned praise on its release earlier in the year, with listeners responding positively to its sticky and humid dancefoor fusions of African and South American rhythms, chunky dub disco, retro-futurist house,
spacey analogue electronics and sun-kissed Balearica. Hot on the heels of that release, Leng Records has sourced new remixes of two album highlights - 'High Minded Man' and 'Silken Moon' - from Running Back label boss Gerd Janson and synthesizer-wielding Balearic boogie stalwart Pete Herbert.
It's Janson who steps up frst, offering up two total overhauls of 'High Minded Man' that re-cast the undulating, Afro-fred original as a dreamy, drum machine-driven chunks of vintage deep house goodness. Where Earthboogie's album version bobbed
and weaved around horns and live bass, Janson's Deep House Mix places the duo's original chanted vocals above a bouncy, polyrhythmic rhythm track, Larry Heard style chords, Kwaito-esque electronic bleeps and a smooth, soul-stroking bassline. Janson's
Deep House Dub, which strips out the vocal for a more sparse and ethereal listening experience, is also included on the EP.
The EP's other remix comes from sometime Reverso 68 member Pete Herbert, who gets his mitts on previous single 'Silken Moon'. While he retains some key elements from Earthboogie's original - specifcally the vocals, Afro guitars and house stabs - he
naturally adds a little of his own rubbery electronic disco favour via spacey synthesizer fourishes and a massive electronic bassline that brilliantly tracks the rising and falling
movement of the main melody. It has the feel of a terrace anthem in the making.

Hello Sailor Recordings 5th release features two edits by Tom Noble and label's captain Renata do Valle.

On this collaboration we navigate through West Africa, exploring sounds from Cameroonian singer Marthe Zambo - 'Alu' and Nigerian musician Sonny Okosuns - 'My Ancestors'.
These edits are subtle works and an homage to these artists, keeping the music true to its originals.
Do Valle often likes to explore African sounds on her HS releases which are a big influence on Brazilian music, it's origins and roots.

The conjectural wedding band OTTO is expanding its organ soundtrack madness. With its third record, it delivers sonic solutions for all sorts of moods, ranging from dark and stormy to smooth and suave. 'Rhythmus' stands out with abstract, repetitive vocals in German, ready to land in a club somewhere near you. This project is supported by Orgaton, the society for the promotion of organ music.

Hell Yeah is back with more beach ready and boat party styled summer tunes, this time from Riccio. This Italian producer has long been making essential edits, off kilter grooves and soul kissed house sounds that demand to be played loud and these new ones are no different.

Described by the label boss as Balearic Big Beat, this EP kicks off with Afro Chemy, a scorching seven minute tune that builds on a bed of fat drums. The scattered percussion is loose and organic and when the funky bass and colourful xylophone sounds comes in you can't help but cut loose. Add in a sexy trumpet line and you have the sound of summer distilled into seven sensational minutes.

Funky Cave will get any party started with its old school drum breaks and cymbal splashes sounding like the ocean when you plunge in on a hot day. Busted bass lines add a certain fatness and cosmic keys and steamy guitar licks make this another perfect outdoor anthem.

Last of all is the blissed out Heather, one to drop at sundown after a long day's dancing. The beats are warm and lumpy, the synths smear out to the horizon like gently breaking waves and soulful leads really get your heart swelling. Proper.

& Co. started out as a small group of friends who surfed and skateboarded together. As they hung out in Venice and shared their interests and ideas about music, sounds started to take shape. What started off with no intentions of being anything serious began to develop, inspiring music composer Alberto Bof, music advisor Paul T. and music coordinator Alex Olson to think about avenues of release.

Inspired by a Seigen Ono record put out for Comme Des Garcons in 1988 Olson got the idea to release the trio's project under his brand Bianca Chandon. This limited 12” has embodied the spirit of the creators and the motivation of the brand to become Bianca's first record release.

runs in his native Lausanne, LillyGood has gradually evolved into a radio show and even a label, now on its 4th release. Refecting the music he plays at the clubnight, 'LillyGood Party!' is packed with funk, disco, deep house and boogie bullets from across the globe. 'The idea is to present not only rare or difcult tracks to fnd, simply good grooves for peopl/e to play out, or listen to at home. Gifted Culture collective kicks off with Zinnigheddas Jam Berlin, first 12' of a series of three releases recorded exclusively during improvised jam sessions. Gifted Culture wants artists to breath and to represent in music the contemporaneity that surrounds us. Gifted Culture catches that very moment on tape. Übrigens ist Shahrokh nicht nur House Produzent und -DJ. Er betreibt auch Clubs und Venues seit Mitte der 90er, promotet von Zeit zu Zeit große Musik-Events, hat mehrere DJ-Residencies und besitzt auch seinen eigenen Laden - Monk in Karlsruhe.

De Lichting is a brand new collaborative project between three key underground labels from Amsterdam namely Yield Records, Native Response and Working Titles. All with their own successful solo projects and well established in what they do, the collaboration is 'a coming of age story narrated by a bunch of music heads from the same city.' It is a project that sees seven self-confessed music nerds putting their DIY ideals front and centre and coming together to self-release these 13 new and exciting tracks.Artists Nathan Surreal, queniv, RDS, Scott Franka, Kaap, Eversines, Human Space Machine and Deltitnu all contribute at least one track each to what will be the first in a new series of releases that follow this same diverse collaborative approach. Musically, the tracks cover many shades of house, ambient and techno across four carefully curated sides of vinyl. Side A takes in unsettling sci-fi ambiance that turns into spacious and cosmic deep house before dropping back into dreamy, beatless chords. Side B picks up the pace with slippery electro synths and rubbery grooves that journey through the cosmos before ending up on romantic broken beat bliss. 180 gHaving played at On Loop's 1st birthday in 2017 after guesting on Moxie's NTS show the previous year, we are delighted to welcome LK back to the family for our seventh release. Hailing from Leeds, he's been a producer on the rise for a few years now after standout releases on labels like Shall Not Fade and Ruff Draft. Previously releasing under the alias Viers, as LK he offers something with a more soulful touch. Each offering on the three-tracker brings something slightly different to the package. Title track 'Dreams' has been made with the dancefloor in mind, whilst the summery '(I Wanna) Make Luv 2 U' is drawn from laid-back Soul and Motown influences. Younger Than Me are Marcello Carozzi and John Ming, a rising DJ and producer duo from Milan. They teamed up with singer Lara Caprotti for their debut release. The uplifting synth arrangements combined with the soulful voice of Lara results in an ultimate sexy-disco-rave euphoria. Fellow Italians Massimiliano Pagliara and Uabos handled the remixes and and put their sophisticated signature on top. A future club classic, sweet as honey!

In its second venture into reissuing hidden gems of electronic music produced in Eastern Europe in the 20th Century, LITTLE BEAT DIFFERENT ISSUES focuses on the work of a Czech composer, musician and producer, Alexander Goldscheider. Born in Prague in 1950, Goldscheider started as a music orrespondent in New York in 1968/69, went onto reading Music at Charles University whilst continuing as a music critic and radio/club DJ, before becoming a record producer at the top Czech label, Supraphon. As a composer, he pioneered the use of synthesizers in his songs for major Czech pop/rock singers as well as in his own instrumental tracks. After moving to London in 1981, he first recorded two albums at the renowned Red Bus Studios, then proceeded to work at the legendary BBC Radiophonic Workshop, before co-founding and establishing Romantic Robot, a software and hardware design and manufacturing company which later moved into music recording and publishing. Of the many original products, THE MUSIC TYPEWRITER was ground-breaking software enabling the writing and printing of real notation on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Similarly TEREZÍN: THE MUSIC 1941-44 was the first ever release of CDs with music written in the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp during World War II. Goldscheider's 1980s LPs THEMES FOR A ONE-MAN BAND Vol I & II reflect his work as a solo artist, always writing, recording and producing single-handedly. He had, though, a team of technical aficionados and inventors back in Prague, who adapted and developed his electronic music equipment incl. synthesizers, sequencers and even a Studer multitrack recorder, thus creating a revolutionary set-up, on par with the much later MIDI.This LP samples Alexander Goldscheider's music produced for records, films, TV and even an art exhibition in the space of 25 years starting from 1975.

Julian Sanza and Andre Espeut, are two very familiar names in the scene. Julian, who hails from Argentinian/Cuban roots and Andre with his French/Caribbean heritage, come together to merge electronic dance, modern funk, soul and boogie, creating their own unique melting pot of goodness!

There's something distinctly anthemic about 'Perfect System'. Low slung, synthed up funk, with a house tinge driven by those sweet soulful vocal harmonies - sure to get stuck in your head for days.

OPOLOPO opens up the e.p. adding his trademark disco remix magic touch to the original - upping the tempo, laying a shuffling beat behind, pumping up the bassline and getting spiritual on the keys.

On the flip the 'Situation Remix' channels the inner improv funk, keeping the vocals to choice snippets before the 'Sare Havlicek Dub' rounds the e.p. off reworking the bass synth to the point where it exudes the sleaze.

This is the first in a series of collaborations between these two... keep those eyes peeled!

TenGrams are brothers Alessandro and Davide, who collectively have a deep and long understanding of dance music. Davide is a co-founder of N.O.I.A, one of Italy's first electronic live acts to perform and record with drum machines and synthesizers as early as 1978. He was also behind seminal Italo outfit Klein + M.B.O and proto house hit 'Dirty Talk.' Since then they have released under an array of aliases, have clocked up numerous club hits and this new project brings them back to their electronic roots, with influences like sci-fi movies and old school electro and italo looming large.Devious' is a very breezy and energetic track with a rolling arpeggio and rich keyboards section over a simply but groovy Tr-808 pattern. Classical Italo Space Disco sound updated to nowadays. 'Translucent' sounds like a dreamy electro-ballad heavily influenced by Kraftwerk. 'Pop Song' keeps the same 80's electro vibes with simple, wistful melodies and a great funk bass line. 'Disco Dub' is a pretty damn cool early eighties electronica, with a great pumping 'robo-funk' Linndrum!

Having never received a full release in the USA (or any release at all in the UK), the 1979 US promo 12" (7:01 mins) of "Shining" by Venus Dodson continues to fetch considerable sums from collectors in 2017. The track was a staple Paradise Garage banger and is surely one of the finest Leroy Burgess penned tracks to come from the peak years of disco. In the interests of restoring some historical balance, Kinfine now present a remastered, limited press, replica 12". Cut with love at 45rpm to ensure a higher audio resolution (than the hard-to-find original).

Copenhagen label Music For Dreams release yet another brilliant debut album, this time by the Danish duo Dalholt & Langkilde. The album has a wonderful warm summery vibe, with slick smooth production, hypnotic groove baselines, live guitars & vocals.

The sultry French spoken word vocals on opener 'Charite', 'Sur Plus', 'Tranquille' '& Je M'appelle Spacy' certainly channel the spirit of Serge Gainsbourg & Max Berlin which compliment the euro flavour to the overall production of the album.

There is a jam like feel to most of the tracks on the album - The Moonboots faves "Bonne Nuit" and "Doucement" both sounds like a Durutti Column /Vini Reilly session made in Copenhagen.

Demise Ducha provides the vocals on tracks 'Disco Disco' & 'Afrique'. Demise's ethereal voice brings an almost Cocteau Twins feel to the tracks combined with the sweet African (soukous) guitar licks and floaty bongo rhythms are sure to propel these tracks into balearic classics on the white isle.

The album also features the track 'Versaire' with Copenhagen friend Emil Breum (The Swan & The Lake) soft sax tempered with atmospheric synth combine to wonderful soundscape effect, a summery 95 BPM chugger!

Dalholt & Langkilde first met when Frederik came to view a room for rent at Mads' apartment. After five minutes they clicked and were roomies. Mads was already an experienced DJ and Frederik had played at parties with a live band, but neither had any experience making their own music. The first track 'Charite' was born in the summer of 2014. Charité was and old idea Mads had, that he would like Frederik to try out ... some first takes later in a gloomy dark basement studio and Charité got its first airplay at Kenneth Bagers radio show at Sonica, Ibiza.

New 12" from Hans-Peter Lindstrøm not feautred on his latest album 'It's Alright Between Us As It Is'. Accompanied with a remix and a acapella version.

Fleeting Wax hits its third release with this bout of sinister, sleek disco for the darker dancefloor that finds Bucharest-based duo Valeriu Borcos and Eduard Gabia getting remixed from a strong cast of characters. The ever prolific Khidja is up first, turning "Choose Your Colour Gypsy Dark" into a brooding, almost-rocking affair with an irresistible noirish tint to it. The label heads then get busy with a version that ups the arpeggios in a nod to Italo amidst plenty of dubby FX, before Mehmet Aslan stretches out across the B-side with a more yearning version that lets a little light in on the situation. It's a diverse, potent bag of versions that do credit to the original while saying something new as well.

REPRESS ALERT: As Emotional Rescue continues to deliver the goods for those who love discofied rarities from the 70s and 80s, here comes this EP from Kevin Harrison, originally released in 1982 and worth a pretty penny second hand. It's a wistful, proggy kind of groove that finds Harrison's voice lost in an alien phaser while the live band feel gels with synthesiser parts for a fluid kind of cosmic goodness. There's simply no arguing with the plush melodic wonderment of "Views Of The Rhine", while "Fly" is the jam the party DJs will reach for, not least for its slinky bassline. Amazing.

Banoffee Pies drop their annual Record Store Day release with BPRSD003. The A side brings re decoration from Bristol local Lord Leopard with an edit on Kadidiatou Samakes - Eyaye. Oft sampled by the likes of NWA and De La Soul and covered multiple times, most notably on Massive Attack's debut album.

On the B side you're treated to 'Blood Is Thicker Than Water', DeVaughn's first single giving a taste of the masterfully stylish soul he was to carry throughout his career.

This is the first time "Lowdown" has ever been pressed on 12" vinyl single since it's original release in '76. The B side brings back "JoJo" off the 1980 Middle Man album, coupled with the mighty "What Can I Say". RSD exclusive pressed on 180g vinyl.

Coming at you hard with a brand new release, thats moved away from or usual unissued releases. DJ Rude Lead played me a demo he and Tom Noble from Superior Elevation cooked up whist Tom was in Denmark deejaing. They approached in indemand vocals of Jay Nemor from the states., who layed over some killer sultry lyrics and tones.The song was only in demo form, so Super Disco Edits in house engineer Matt Fletcher and Owner of Super Disco Edits Russell Paine gave the song the boost and heaviness it desired! We really are pleased with the result, thats cut super loud and sounds awesome over a big system

Her Majesty's Ship is proud to present 'This Never Happened', the latest album from hugely talented French-American singer and producer Yan Wagner.

This always inventive and off kilter artist has had many top releases on labels like Kitsune and has worked with the likes of the legendary Arnaud Rebotini and Etienne Daho. He also has a side project, The Populists, is producing the first album of Calypso Valois and wrote the soundtrack for the short film 'Victoria' by Mathilde Marc. Someone who plays events like SXSW and Montreux Jazz Festival, Wagner's playful disco-pop tunes always find their way into the emotions of those who hear them.

For his second album, the artist wondered what to do: surprise everyone with a selection of ballads or serve up the electronic sounds that defined his last effort Forty Eight Hours. The answer lies somewhere in between, with covers of Frank Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood mixed in with fresh and catchy disco production. Unlike the last record produced by Arnaud Rebotini, this record is producer by Yan himself with a triple objective: to favour the first takes, the heat of the sound and to reduce the post- production to a minimum. It makes for something authentic and real, and is an album of artistic self-questioning, tenacious dreaming and overcoming doubt.

Says the artist, "The songs on this record are a series of lies; views of the mind. 'This Never Happened' is a collection of stories that never happened. Ten tracks talking of vain loves, of nocturnal experiences and of life and truth, which are all so short.'

Starting with the retro synths and shiny arpeggios of the title track, ensuing cuts like 'Blacker' are real chuggers with almost de-humanised vocals over the robot beats. 'SlamDunk Cha-Cha' is descended from Bowie with its camp synth wiggles and sung- spoken vocals. Switching up the tempo, slower tracks like 'Grenades' are perfectly glowing and frazzled with their pixelated melodies and cold chords. More upbeat affairs like 'No Love' are like lighter and cheerier versions of Depeche Mode, and the Sinatra cover 'It Was A Very Good Year' is a stirring, synth heavy version that is every bit as tender as the original.

This is a fantastic album of timeless electronic songs and is sure to be one of the standout releases of the year.

Transmitting treacherous local energy into his new creative undertakings, Bogdan now joins the Not An Animal force keeping the flame well and truly ignited. A'Parovoznikov' fires across all cylinders with a vigorous Italo-arp bass motor, driving it further down the cosmic highway, engine doused in fully-lubricated synth-pad oil.Justin Van Der Volgen's remix swiftly rips the wing mirror clean off with a zealous two-to-the-floor-hitting blowout. On the B, 'Listopad' cruises top down with a more Balearic approach. A dreamy square bass glissades alongside percussive hats and succulent pads that shuffle within the horizon, whilst computer bleeps chomp and add an intensifying clarity. Kito Jempere's remix closes the release with his first contribution to the label. It lifts up the original and drives towards sundown into moonlight. Warping bass tones squelch against fetching stabs and brash breaks keeping this track fully pulsating.

Big one... offering a true big choice of vibes, with that Midnight Ravers from Anna... bringing a pure new House groove for the best surpise here... The Gulls remix is also a very nice easy listening house sound... A side opens with Dabora Hip Hop Techn oremix... full surprise ! Karoni Foli is probably the most modern track here, exploring the roots of bass Music in a very african sound design. This record is a pearl ! Don't miss!

OTP Party Breaks #7 is finally here! Kicking off 2013 with a stellar collection of tracks that have been staples in their recent DJ sets. Marcos Cabrals' "Latin Box" on A1 duties with proto-house styled sounds and his signature dubby synth treatment. Kon loops up a killer break and which twists and turns making it all his own. Jacques Renault on flip with some proto-house madness! And NYC's WOOHOO brings ups the party vibes with his disco banger "Nightwalker." Spinning gold is pretty difficult. But that's what Franz Scala does. Simple when you know how, and this Italian does. Three tracks of pure italo sunshine. Snapping beats and cocktail chords meet on the dancefloor for 'Discoteca Paradiso', sleek synthlines keeping time as the pair turn and twirl. 'Gun Theory' works in moonlit. Clean drums are sullied by dripping keys, a cigarette locked in the teeth of this after hours affair. And the lights aren't up yet, Scala has one more floor filler up his sleeve. Pulsing rhythms say there still hope, she's style out there; but the bitter sweet melodies disagree. A lilting heartbreaker, in the elegant form of 'Riflessi'.

The new Joey Negro album 'Produced With Love' is now available across all formats but as the double CD contained 20 tracks it wasn't possible to fit everything onto the 3LP version so the 'Space Time EP' is a new vinyl EP containing some of these tracks that weren't ready in time to make it on to the vinyl LP.

First up is 'Distorting Space Time', a drawn out dubby, jazzy, spacey track that suggests a heavy Arthur Russell influence, one that is already a firm favourite of Gilles Peterson, Louie Vega and François Kevorkian

'I Recognise' is a jazzy boogie track with Kaidi Taitum on keys full of spacey effects and features Sacha Williamson on vocals.

'Dancing Into The Stars' features London's best disco party starters Horse Meat Disco on co-production duties and Angela Johnson on vocals. This is the unreleased extended mix that comes in at over 10 minutes and is a full on Dan Hartman style modern disco production.

Completing the package is the Black Loops remix of 'Won't Let Go' who takes Linda Clifford's vocals and a killer bassline into deep house territory.

Another West-End sure-shot! This sublime piece of early electronic Boogie has always worn it's "classic" badge with a relaxed sense of pride since it's release in 1982, perhaps it's the languid synthed out groove supplied by studio maestros Nick martinelli & David Todd or Brenda Taylor's sublime vocals reminding us all that the game of love is always a 2 way street that are to blame

Whatever it is, this is a solid, classic slice of Disco gold, more on the down to mid-tempo tip but still big enough to keep the dance-floors packed from the Garage to the Loft & beyond with ease! The production simply sounds years ahead of it's time (still does!) & it has the FUNK in bucket-loads, this is as essential as it gets, the real deal. Featured here are all the original mixes that were on the 1982 pressing (Yes! There's a dub mix!).

Re-mastered, re-pressed & re-released for 2015 with all original West End Records label artwork intact. Done in conjunction & with the permission of all right holders.
