The mysterious K&B pairing are back on No More Hits with another huge release to round off the year. Following their massive No More Hits 15 release 'Ain't No Woman' almost exactly a year ago. Make no mistake, this one is equally as good and we expect big things from K&B in 2013!

Number 10 in the Rio Edits series is here! This 12' steps away from the Brazillian flavour of the last few Rio Edits, taking up an American vibe. Killer release as is expected from the Rio label!

Latest installment in the excellent Balearica series, featuring another round of wonderfully eclectic delights. First on the decks is the extended 12' version of Karen Young's in-demand 'Deetour'. Originally released back in '82, this beautifully spaced out funky dancer with its fat bass, cool vocals and flute never fails to ignite the dancefloor. Next comes the chugging syncopated groove and haunting synth melody of the sought-after instrumental 'Afro Mix' of great Italo track 'Zanzibar' from Helen. Flip over for the incredible eight minute 12' version of Tony Esposito's 'Je Na'. Mixed by Klein & MBO legend Mario Boncaldo, this psychedelically hypnotic percussion extravanza is almost impossible to find nowadays in the original 12'.
Last up is the fantastic delicate laid-back funk of Ahmed Fakrun's highly-desirable 'Nisyan' previously only available as a mega-rare Italian 7' from 1977. Essential EP for all lovers of that Balearic sound!

Crazy P return with one of the highlights from the 'When We On' album. 'Heartbreaker' is the sound of a band at the top of it's game, amazing musicians showing the disco pretenders how its done. The track came out of one of their many jam sessions and moves along on subtle changes of the drums, bass, guitars and keys that only a band with an intimate knowledge of themselves and the dancefloor can employ. To be given these kinds of parts for a remix must be a joy for any producer and the lucky pair on remix duties are Mark E and Huxley
We've been big fans of Mark E since he appeared on the scene with his amazing Womack and Womack edit and he's played 2020Vision parties for us where he always proves he's a master of rocking the party without having to compromise his deep and classic style. His remix is deep, moody and hypnotic and no doubt has already been doing the business in his sets, it's a great alternative to the summery sounds of the original.

Huxley has already appeared on 2020 with the 'Out Of The Box EP' and it's good to have him back, his mix is another of his excellent house/garage fusions. He keeps a lot of the parts that makes the original so addictive, but flips it into a Huxley club track with his trademark drums and bass.

Every once in a while a record or in this case an EP comes along and it's so bursting with feel good vibes that even the most cynical dance music listener can't resist. At the mere age of 19, Francisco Davalos is about to grab the attention of many. Simply put, the young mexican has a superb ear for the language of music. After a recent 12" on Nurvous (Nervous Records new sublabel), On The Prowl finds itself lucky to land these four tropical themed disco tinged club bombs. With hints of what made Tensnakes's "Coma Cat" so successful the Bronx skillfully puts together his "Tropical EP" packed with plenty of playful pianos, strings, congas, marimbas... there's no holding back.

IS IT BALEARIC hit their late 20's with another superb release - this time Craig Bratley steps up with Analogue Dreams
Craig has earnt quite a reputation from only a handful of releases, including the Weatherall favourite and classic cut 'Birdshell' on Instruments Of Rapture.
On Analgue Dreams, Craig lays down a gently evolving, Acid tinged Piano slow burner, all mood and melody.
First up on the remix we have the ever essential Bonar Bradberry who amps things up and takes a clonking bass riff down the Disco for a real good time.On the flip Crimea X pare the musical elements right down and build an epic remix from the raw ingredients, employing live percussion and shimmering synths.
Finally Joe's Bakery dial down the tempo and incorporate some deft acoustic guitar and gentle moodswings alongside the musical elements of the original

Next up on the Psychemagik label Discotheque Wreckers are two super obscure afro disco killers. First up 'Systematic Lover' is a brutally funky, full frontal psyched out disco attack with wobbling synths and breaks that crack every floor. The Flip 'Jungle Juice' a midtempo chugger, drops an evil, hypnotic bassline with fresh harp and congas over tight funky drums, pure voodoo, both sides revealing another niche in the crate diggers never ending repertoire.

Newly mastered and cut on 45 RPM, Knuggles Recordings issues two kicking club tracks by Netto Houz from their Album 'Room 7101. 'Noctambulism' and 'Rossi's Records' were recorded in 1997 under the strong influence and in deep adoration of the music released by the great Chicago House labels of that time. Vinyl only, limited to 200 copies.

After the great Menergy ep, Re-Tide is back on taste Of Honey with a new vintage project, but calibrated for all the clubs around the world. "From The Block" using a sample very famous already taken for the song of Jennifer Lopez. The sound is very 70' with a great groove that will move many heads. West & Girl is a mash-up of Pet Shop Boys' sound and the beautiful voice of Diana. The result is a great Nu-Disco sound for excellent atmosphere. A few copies available!

After the success of Pablo and Shoey's 'Rejigs' series, Fatty Fatty Phonographics steps things up a notch with 'Downtown Classics Vol 1', featuring the big tracks and out-there obscurities that have worked the floor at the long running Dublin club collective's nights.
Side A makes room for all 13 minutes of Daniel Wang and Brennan Green's jaw dropping mix of Block 16's 'Electrokution'.
Block 16 were Ray Mang and Harvey/Idjuts collaborator Pete Z, and their 'Morning Sun' LP on Nuphonic got lost among the label's messy demise in 2001.
It didn't stop The Unabombers proclaiming it 'Album of the Year - We are kneeling' nor Daniel Wang taking up the baton and releasing this gem on his Balihu label, taking the hypnotic electro stylings of the original on a right journey by adding some propulsive Loft style disco and a totally unexpected melodica led dub reggae coda, Augustus Pablo stylee.
The original Balihu 12 has shouts to both Harvey and Dutch Italo-disco don I-F on it, and that about sums it up where this marvellous piece of 21st Century musical madness is coming from.
On the flip we have ourselves some joyful charity shop disco in the form of Sweet Cream's 1978 screamer 'I Don't Know What I'd Do If You Ever Left Me'. All Pablo and Shoey had to do to this little gem was create a lovely extended percussive intro before letting the insistent riff and squealing moog of the main song go.
A favourite of Larry Levan's at the Garage by all accounts, it's hands in the air chorus and brassy disco swagger meant it went all the way uptown to Studio 54 in disco's commercial peak year. More importantly, it has consistently plastered smiles on the faces of peak-time Downtown dancefloors since 2003, and we're delighted to share it with the world now!

'The Secret Life Of Us' is their most excting adventure into modern soulful music yet! Who could resist the catchy Chic style disco of the title track with its story of an illicit affair or the witty, 'this woman wears the trousers', 2 step boogie 'My Way'. Things get jazzier on the moody electro 'Jazz The DMX' with Bluenote piano and dubby weirdness, while the rolling downtempo pimp groove of 'Opus de Soul' has beautiful lush live strings that even Barry White might be proud of. Even echoes of the Doobie Brothers resonate through 'Caught In The Moment'. The album also features their glimmering disco-tinged outing, 'In The Thick Of It', which hit the Traxsource No.1 spot in just 4 days of release this month! What is common throughout 'The Secret Life Of Us' is the attention to detail and labour of love that's gone into crafting this wonderful collection of fantastic songs, all performed by a truly heavyweight collective of talent!
'The Secret Life Of Us' features band members who regularly play live around the world headed by singers Pete Simpson and Donna Gardier. The nucleus of Tony Remy (guitar), Julian Crampton (bass) and Frank Tontoh (drums) are also joined by a selection of vocal stars from the soulful scene including Angela Johnson, Noelle Scaggs, Darien and Vivienne McKone. Combine this standard of musicianship with strong songs and Dave's sharp arrangements and you've got a potent brew both in the studio and on the live stage. Joey co-wrote most of the songs with Diane Charlemagne, who many will know from Goldie's 'Inner City Life'. 'Diane is super talented and writes with wit and intelligence', says Joey. Diane also performs vocals on 'My Way', 'Definition of Love' and the album title track with Donna Gardier. The Sunburst Band are set to release a whole host of the singles from the album, employing hot remix talents such as Lovebirds, Atjazz and DJ Spinna.
Lengthy artist careers in the music business are few and far between, but in the ever-changing world of dance music they are scarcer than a signed Moroder 12'. Joey Negro/Dave Lee's debut release may have been part of the first wave of UK house back in 1988, but more than 20 years later he is still on top of his game. The Sunburst Band, formed in 1998, is a collective born out of Mr Lee's passion for boogie, funk, disco and jazz. Their debut album 'Here Comes The Sunburst Band' won critical acclaim with both old school heads as well as nu breed disco and house fans. Tracks like 'Garden of Love' and 'Delicious' became scene classics, championed by DJs from Pete Tong to 4 Hero. Nick Anthony aka Simoncino takes the helm for the second in the Conservation Dept. series. Following on from The killer Saint Petersburg Disco Spin Club release earlier this year. Already garnering love from far and wide this 4 tracker packs a heavy punch! Nothing short of excellent, as is expected from the talented Mr. Anthony.

A rare chance to get hold of two of pop legend Prince's most sought-after dancefloor bombs on one slab of 12' vinyl. This great remastered reissue features the super-rare long versions of both 'Sexy Dancer' and 'Controversy'. Both originally only available as limited promos, these awesome extended versions went on to become underground club classics receiving heavy rotation from the likes of Larry Levan and Ron Hardy amongst many others. The A-side's 'Sexy Dancer' from 1979 was Prince's first foray into 12' extended versions though weirdly enough it never secured a US release, which is maybe why it's so hard to track down nowadays. It's a super-funky disco killer featuring Prince's trademark prominent bass licks and mesmerising guitar solos. Flip over for over seven minutes of uncompromising raw funk from the ever-relevant Controversy. A sure-fire floor-filler whenever it's dropped, this extended version is ramped up with extra heavy bass and guitar. A must for Prince fans and disco connoisseurs alike - don't miss!

We droppped Vol One of the C.A series in 2010. DEADBOY had been working with classic rnb acapellas and writing new tracks around them. Both Cassie and Ashanti were re-worked into 3 sublime dancefloor heaters that were hungrily received and have retained their appeal to this day.

In 2011 on the second volume, we continued the rnb refix theme but opened the doors to multiple contributors. We struck gold, with Deadboy's 'Fireworks' edit becoming a bit of an anthem.
This was supported by tracks of sheer quality from GONGON & BAD AUTOPSY / SKINNZ & GATTO VIOLA & DOC DANEEKA. The 12" has exchanged hands for a pretty penny on discogs we observed.

In 2012, times have moved on. The current bias of UK dance music is well-documented and suffice to say we like to be looking in different directions not yet covered on our label. BAD AUTOPSY had been experimenting with edits of 80s disco and proto house, some obscure, some less so - but compressing these into thrilling new arrangements and adding acapellas from seperate sources. These are so well intertwined that the effect is unusual. Re-edits with a difference we reckon. The ingredients may be of a retro-tendency but to us these tracks sound frrrrrrrrrrresh. 'Curious' will get em jackin, 'Medicine' is a brazen belter, 'Without End' is all sultry and steamy with lust and longing and 'Teedraheedren' takes you on a psychedelic electro-funk odyssey before dovetailing into a dubbed-out arpeggio wonderland.

We really are extremely pleased with the vibe of this release. Hope it hits you in a good place.

With his Midnight Riot compilations, Yam Who has proved to be a shrewd mover. By focusing largely on the edits-not-edits sound - where disco and electrofunk meets deep house - he's managed to catch the zeitgeist of a scene that remains hugely popular.

This third volume reads like a veritable who's who of contemporary talent, featuring both well-known names (Ilya Santana, Rayko, Sleazy McQueen, Get Down Edits, Deadly Sins and Yam Who) and rising stars (Shit Hot Soundsystem, Jimmy The Twin, B-Jam, the excellent Stupid Human).

Musically, it largely delivers what you'd expect, expertly moving between delay-laden disco dubbiness, Tiger & Woods-ish disco-house and starlight nu-boogie.

Continuing their forays into the world of yesteryear grooves unabated, those pesky hell-dwelling Lumberjacks are at it again, this time drafting in O Boogie and Red Greg for some disco funk finesse for the smoothest get-downs. O Boogie lords it over the first side, leaning heavy on a rich piano hook that hammers lower register chords over an incessant disco tick, while evergreen track "Papa Was A Rolling Stone" gets re-versioned in such a floor-burning fashion you'll need asbestos boots just to get out alive. Red Greg's "Inner Rhythm" plies familiar tropes into a sweet instrumental groove that makes all the right moves.

'I started buying Funk and Soul records from Soul Bowl in Norfolk in about 1980, John Anderson the owner had a big barn full to the rafters with vinyl, he would travel the breadth of the States - bringing back container loads of rare music. So many in fact it was a daunting prospect to know where to start in that crazy Barn... endless shelves many of which you could not even get at as there were so many piles of records stacked on the floor. It was here that I first discovered Chuck Brown & the Soul Searchers.... 'Ashley's Roach Clip' was the sort of track title that would grab my attention According to John it was 'shite' from Washington DC... from that album I hunted out many more records, slowly putting the story together and thus finding GoGo. I even went on a pilgrimage to Washington in about 1986 on a record-buying trip... Had to ship 'em back and pay a stupid amount of tax but those tunes still rock and those toms will always roll...' GoGo Get Down is the latest compilation from Dave Lee aka Joey Negro to be released on the Z Records label. A mammoth and rare retrospective of Washington DC's spectrum of Ghetto Funk, this collection showcases the visionary side of the GoGo scene while bringing its key artists the modern exposure they deserve.



Joey Negro gives us an insight into the vintage rhythms and chiming cowbells as well as the dedicated soul screams that pierce through the retro soul rhythm that gives GoGo its distinctive sound.



'As someone who has more or less made a career out of being a music lover, it's a great buzz to put together and release albums of these semi-forgotten genres like GoGo or our recent Brit Funk compilation. Many of the tracks included on this album are ultra obscure local-only releases which I've picked over my years of digging. Seeing a project like this through from the initial concept to the final product is quite a task at Z HQ and at points you can't help but wish you'd never started the damn thing ;-)



However, all of the graft is forgotten once the finished release arrives and you're listening to those bumpy DC grooves in all their re-mastered glory'

Their combined sound is one of vintage recording equipment and instruments coupled with tweaks and blends from the modern studio. This new 12 for Leng draws on all their knowledge of the past and of the current club scene, effortlessly gliding through deep, warm analogue sounds and tougher studio techniques. Both tracks have guitar work that reminisces of a late 60's West Coast scene laid over strong bass lines and beats giving the perfect mix of home listening fuzz and a late night dance floor.

Elbee Bad is another great underground house pioneer from the formative days of NYC house in the late eighties. The True Story Of House Music finally gets told...
Like the Burrell Brothers, Elbee Bad aka Lamont Booker, is an early house producer from New York
City. And the comparison doesn't stop there; Elbee Bad has also recorded under different aliases and has also remained largely unknown to a wider audience. He has also recorded for Nu Groove Records, for which he has recorded his most famous material, but like the Burrell's he wasn't a Nu Groove fixture. Bad recorded for a slew of other independent New York house labels like Bassment,
City Limits, Easy Street, Red Heat, United States Of America and then there was his own LaRhon
Records. Almost 25 years have past since his first release 'Just Don't Stop', yet 'The True Story Of House
Music' is the first time Bad's catalog gets compiled for re-release. Although the best and most prolific
part of his catalog is his late 80's and early 90's output, Booker never stopped producing (and dj'ing).
The Nuyorican came up on the live circuit as a teenager, featuring as a drummer in his school band. When the group disbanded he decided to move forward solo. This was as at a time when hip hop and dj culture came up. He started dj'ing and experimenting with beat looping rock, disco and electronic records. He formed a dj crew and they started rocking PA's. Not long after that his first record came
out on an independent house label Bassment, which features 'Just Don't Stop'. Many singled followed on different label, including his most well-known EP entitled 'The True Story Of House Music' on Nu Groove Records. Not only does this feature various versions of the title track,
which caused a storm with djs around the globe, it also features the ambient song 'New Age Of Faith'.
The theme got used by Sabres Of Paradise who made it their own on 'Smokebelch II' which became a
landmark house and balearic record in the early 90's. Unfortunately for Elbee, the Sabres left him out
of the equation. It left a bad taste, but he kept on producing music, purely on emotion and never with a marketing mind. This is probably the main reason why he has stayed out of the limelight, yet has produced so many
timeless tracks, of which most can be found on this compilation. Elbee Bad aka LB Bad aka The Prince Of Dance Music aka Lamont Booker aka The Voodoo Man, aka
Lord KCB aka BAD currently lives and works in Berlin where he continues to work on music as well as
producing and running his Bad's Label.

A towering talent in the future house scene and one of Bristol's most adored exports, Eats Everything is about to deliver his first full EP for the kindred spirits at Futureboogie Recordings. Displaying his softer sound palate, the mid-tempo grooves of the aptly named 'Slow For Me EP' are more slinky than slamming but every bit as cheeky.
Described by Resident Advisor as a purveyour of 'full fat house', Daniel Pearce aka Eats Everything follows up the monster 'Vertigo EP' on Dirtybird with an altogether moodier trio of tracks to usher you gently into the the wintry months ahead.
A-side 'Tone Music' builds with a melodic structure of electronic droplets as rattling percussion does the driving. A n injection of techno wonk stabs blended with pitched down RnB sampling, 'Tone Music' is a sonic patchwork of futuristic beams and bleeps, synth shards, and shakers.
Moving into crackling, dubby terrain, 'Lo To Hi' is a spooky affair with solid claps and a nifty little bassline groove. As warped vocal snippets float into the atmosphere, the swirling pads serve to envelop the senses and build a sense of tension and drama up to the break.
In keeping with the slower vein and bathed in warm, ethereal pads, 'Doldrums' builds with distorted synth melodies and chopped up vox until the rise of drums, and unexpected drop of heavy bassline throb along with subtle twists of acid swerve into the mix.

Spectacular Italo disco 12' featuring two superslick synth-groovers from the mighty Klein & MBO, aka Mario Boncaldo and Tony Carrasco, whose genre-bending electro-Italo proto-house sound hit big on both the NY disco and Chicago house scenes of the early 80s. Side A slides in with the deeply electro 'MBO Theme' whose killer blend of disco-tinged techno beats, quirky 80s robotic rap-style lyrics and catchy guitar licks was a huge favourite of masters like Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan and Ron Hardy eventually being covered by Chip E for his 'MB Dance' track on the seminal Jack Trax EP . Flip over and you are treated to the the aptly named 'Wonderful'. First we have the fantastic eight-minute disco-dub version featuring the gorgeous sweet vocals of Rosanna Casale followed by the hugely in-demand instrumental version. Sounding almost like a live mix, this tech-heavy beauty punches out synths and drum machine effects that are way ahead of their time! Minimal Italo production at its best, these tracks were played to death at The Warehouse, The Paradise Garage and The Music Box and are still DJ favourites today. Don't miss out!!

Cynic's Felix Dickinson teams up with record dealer to the stars Nick the Record and Mark Eagling to bring the long awaited second edition on Recycled Records, whose first release 'The Drive' came out back in 1996, long before the current trend of edits.
Nick & Mark aka 'Friendly and Forgetful' have worked on various Re-edit projects since then, such as the Counterpoint releases Lanier - 25 Hours, Paper Doll - Get Down Boy & Clarice Labbe - There's No Other Love.
Their flangetastic edit 'Handle With Care' has been a staple of Nick's Japanese sets for the last 5 years, and now due to popular demand is finally getting a vinyl release.
Felix and Nick (Foolish and Friendly), got in the studio again back in 2010 to do an edit of Mandre's M3000 for Rush hour. Here their edit of 'Direct Hit' has similar pumping acid undercurrents with a driving live bassline and sparse guitar licks over the top. Finally we have (Foolish) Felix's edit of 'Jungle Warfare', this weirdo jews harp flavoured bit of cosmidelica may well sound familiar as a few people have had a crack at editing it recently, but this version does away with all the camp vocals from the original to just leave the raw chugging backbone of the track.

Sare Havlicek is back on Nang following the release of his second full-length album 'Escape Machine' back in June. This time it's a lean selection of variations and edits of the his track 'Diamondback', a 2-part nu-disco opus laden with real strings and serious groove. Parts 1 & 2 we're included on 'Escape Machine', this EP sets out to expand on these ideas and unravel the mystery of parts 3, 4 & 5.

Tribute time - re-edit done with loads of class, never before on vinyl

Daniel "Blackbelt" Andersen has been active in the Norwegian dance music community for a number of years. He got into electronic dance music in the early 90's, and first started emulating the sound of Detroit techno on his father's home computer. In the last half of the decade he bought his first turntables and a mixer, and was soon DJ'ing around Oslo. His first releases were on Canadian label Restructured Recordings and Prins Thomas' first label Tamburin, under the name Kalle Magnus & Daniel, a collaboration with his childhood friends Kalle Sandås and Magnus "International" Sheehan. Through the last years he's enjoyed success with his releases on Full Pupp, Trailerpark and Claremont 56 and recently remixes for fellow Norwegians Fjordfunk and the lowlands disco kings the Glimmers. His productions has been licensed to a number of compilations like MOS Balearica(yes, a shit name...we know...) The Glimmers Fabric Live 31.
He's a co-resident on the monthly Full Pupp Oslo and has also had a number of international DJ gigs from Berlin to Beijing. The Blackbelt sound can be described as Juan Atkins jamming with Airto Moreira, with a bit of Larry Levan thrown in for good measure.

A few words from Prins Thomas:
The raw material which became 'II' has the same DNA as Blackbelt's debut. His ideas might lay around for 5-10 years before that crucial missing 'middle part' pops out of nowhere(or in this instance:2 old ideas gets combined into a new one) but essentially they all come out with the same colour, taste and smell... and they all sound like nothing but Blackbelt Andersen.
Over a 3 month period in 2011 I invited Daniel into the mess that I call K16 Studios for a hectic but creative reworking of the material that he had piled up.
The idea was to use Daniel's tracks as templates and use whatever kind of tool we had at our disposal to colour in the white fields. Kalimbas, cheap old throwaway synths, guitar amps and effect boxes...
Some tracks needed little more than a sprinkle of eq'ing or some re-arranging and others
where reworked from the bottom up.

I know we might be blowing our cool by blowing our own horns, but it´s hard not to get excited listening to this brilliant masterpiece. Toot toot toot!!!!

After the auditory feast Soft Rocks has served over the past year, we at the ESP Institute thought it would be best to pause briefly for digestion. That said, we've now got a second wind and are pleased to deliver the last in the Revenge of Soft Rocks remix vinyls. Long time disco sorcerer Ray Mang has taken Mirador De Las Estrellas to a beautiful place, utilizing the steal drum as a hypnotic hook and editing Jorge Socarras' memorable Spanish vocals down to an effective sigh. If there was ever a track for your Indian Summer, this is it. On the flipside, the boys from Cage & Aviary sprawl out the original extended version of their tough and dubby bonus beats (this bomb is exclusive to this vinyl release). If you know what's best, you'll not sleep on this one... there is nothing more pleasing than completing a set.

Ditongo is the Batongo's alias for disco editing, less obscure, more groovy.
Not much is to be known about Batongo, previously an active euro dance producer, released a bunch of hits in the nineties. 10 years ago, after a traumatic experience he escaped in Perù and retired from the music business, during this years, on his spare time he made a lot of music, not meant for the public, just for himself. Now he is still in Perù, not willing to move back to Europe but barely broke, he sold us the rights on his entire collection of unreleased recordings with the condition of not revealing his real identity.
We will unveil a series of EPs ranging from obscure deep to psychedelic disco.

Redux return from a winter hibernation and summer of partying with some more essential wax.Machete Savane is their latest signing, Aka studio supremo Saul Richards & Andy Bainbridge, an integral part on well respected and notoriously raucous party people Bad Passion
Andy has perfectly distilled what drives the Bad Passion dancefloor in the excellent 'Elysian Fields', and who better to put a unique stamp on the track than their main resident guest FELIX DICKINSON. He takes the track into bolder, dubbed out and altogether more Acid House territory, while keeping the live elements to the fore.
Finally Mid Op amps up the drum machinery, and lays out another corking 'Balearic with balls' workout

1xCD, mixed. Put together by Ashley Beedle, Dave Jarvis and Diesel, Heavy Disco is basically a collection of the boys' favourite tracks but with a twist. They have edited all of the tracks, reworked them so they are longer and are now quantized. This will open up some of these tracks to a lot more people (not to mention DJ's) and this soundscape is a wonderful lesson in music people. Not just house, not just dance either in its traditional sense, but good music that people will dance to irrespective of genre.
What other albums would see Rod Stewart alongside Mass Order, or Prince alongside Kate Bush I think what the lads have done is not only utterly clever, it's gutsy too. But that sums up their parties to a tee, they don't just play what is en vogue, they think out of the record box!
The track listing itself makes for impressive reading. Featuring further cuts from Players Association, Stevie Wonder, Crosby, Stills and Nash and Millie Jackson to name but a few, you can instantly see this is no ordinary album of edits

Paradise Garage DJ and dance music legend Victor Rosado presents his remixes from the self titled debut LP from Nina Kraviz on three special limited 12"s..
Victor was part of the legendary "Garage" scene and played along side Larry Levan throughout the history of the famed New York club and went onto remixing and re-editing a whole host of stars and his work has appeared recently on the cheeky "East End" records.
These mixes fuse Nina's sultry vocals with the sounds of NYC nightlife....

M.O.D.F.D.M.V stands for 'Musica Originale Del Film Della Mia Vita' - Italian for 'Original music from the film of my life', and if this is what Max's life sounds like then he is one lucky guy.
