They all keep to the authentic sound and style that made hardcore so good back then. The balance of light and dark is great, being neither and both at the same time. Any of these tracks would slip into an authentic old skool set or a modern breakbeat set with no problems at all

Nate S.U. comes with Close To High, a solid combination of deep vibes combined with housy grooves and ethereal synths. Last but not least on the B2 we have the Swiss based Ruven Medici with Niacoc, a never ending groove tool based on an hypnotic minimalish vibe that will keep you bouncing on the dancefloor.

LVCA digs deep into his Ibiza Sound Machine and extracts beats from touring Mancunians and english-accented residents alike. Marlon & Josh Baker team up with the label for this debut, "triphasic" release.

After the highly acclaimed ‘Positive Vibes’ EP by Orlando Voorn, the Dutchman able to forge links with the Detroit originators thanks to his Midas touch, and abandoned the dancefloor-oriented vibes of ‘Feel Good’ - label head honcho Giuseppe Scarano’s debut EP, including a powerful remix by Chi legend Paul Johnson - and of Soulvibe Inc.’s ‘Inside To Outside’, NICEPEOPLE drops a blissful brand new EP without compromise from veteran US deep house producer Vincent Floyd.

After his releases in the mid-90’s for Dance Mania, Relief and Gherkin Records offshoot Resound Records, it was only in 2014 that original Chicago deep house producer has enjoyed something of a career renaissance with the release of ‘Moonlight Fantasy’ on Rush Hour and, since then, he’s been a man in highly demand.

NICEPEOPLE is glad to welcome his understated but utterly engrossing deep house sound he's made his own since the early days.

‘Music Therapy’ opens up with the mesmerizing house haze of the eponymous track, testament to Floyd's impeccable composition and production skills, that drives us through wonderful dreamy sceneries, to then catapult us into the notably skippy beats and chiming melody lines of ‘What Have We Done?’.
On the flip the infamous Italian producer Nico Lahs, one of the most worldwide appreciated Italian artists of the last ten years, on remix duties, who supplies a more jackin’ version and brings it to the next level adding more emphasis and percussive grit without ever neglecting the melodious goodness.
To close ‘You Never Knew Me’, a deeper track with a sumptuous introspective sound very much in the classic deep house mould of Larry Heard.

When James Pepper met Riccardo Paffetti (Black Loops) a bromance was quick to bloom. After touring the Berlin-based Italian across Australia, the two soon realised they not only loved each others company but records too.

Following Black Loops maiden trip down under, the dudes stayed in touch and led to Pep crashing on Riccardo’s sofa bed for a week in Berlin. The duo went to work in the studio, brewing up some gems that were released on classy imprints Neovinyl Recordings and Haŵs.

It was on Paffetti’s most recent trip to Oz (well before the world shutdown) that brought about their most anticipated tracks to date. Bunkering down in a Marrickville studio, the cross-continent pairing got up close and personal with some neat hardware. Experimenting with an array of compressors, a TR8 and the Elektron Analog Four MKII ‘Three Drops’ EP was born.

The EP is a lively affair. A rampant message to club folk far and wide. Founded on lo-fi percussion, a crunchy kick and echoed key sections ‘Three Drops’ throws a flurry of punches. Varied combinations of electro, acid and techno rolling together just right. Here we have a welcome jab of adrenaline. You can almost visualise the duo grinning from ear-to-ear, as they bring in each piece of machinery.

'Three Drops’ made its live debut at Pepper’s recent Boiler Room in Sydney and has since taken the interwebs by storm. Hundred’s of ID requests later and the time is right to share this gem as the clubs open back up across the globe.

The B side and new single has arrived in ‘Arp Love’. A frantically beautiful dose of techno. Soaring risers make way for pulsating chords and shimmering TR8 patterns, as we’re led deep into a clubby rabbit hole. In signature Black Loops style, a spoken word sample on the disappointment of love breaks the piece in two.

For a burgeoning Sydney producer like Pep it must be truly amazing to co-write alongside Riccardo - an artist who’s clocked tens of millions of streams worldwide, claimed Deep House Artist of The Year (2017) via Traxsouce plus released weaponry on revered labels such as Shall Not Fade, Toy Tonics, Gruuv and Good Ratio.

We’re grateful James Pepper and Black Loops got together. These two on tracks makes sense.

The defenders of psych-funk, Kanot is back with their first full length album on Höga Nord Rekords. “Textile Fantasies” is an interdimensional groove voyage to a parallel universe where the nineties never happened.

The beginning of the A-side represents the peaceful nature romantic side of Kanot where guitar licks are dancing like swarming mosquitoes round your head. You’re being onboard a canoe, in the early summer on Säveån, a river on the Swedish west coast. “Textile Fantasies” develops into a more dramatic scenery as the droning feeling in the tracks give way to more beat orientated music. Kanot is slowly approaching the city as the album goes on.

Every sound on the record is thoroughly picked and placed in the mix. Like laying a jigsaw puzzle, Anton Kolbe puts down the virtuoso contributions of Jesper Jarold, building a dynamic and playful soundscape. Every song is pleasant in it’s own way and contributes to broaden the Kanot-universe.

‘Pushing On’ released in 2014 by Oliver Dollar & Jimi Jules remains a house staple, staying at Beatport’s #1 spot for over four weeks when it was first released, and recently achieving silver certification in the UK. A record house-heads know and love, this special 12” package offers a rare chance to get the cross-over hit on wax. Kicking off on the A-side is the beloved, club-ready original, alongside the stripped-back Dub version, that brings extra focus to the track’s irresistibly deep bassline form start to finish. Opening the B-side, Jesse Rose’s ‘Live From The Villa’ Remix enlists melodic keys and a mellow chill, contributing towards the remix’s Balearic feel. Finally, Tchami comes through with a bouncier, clubbier mix, ready for the dancefloor.

Rene Wise has previously released on some of the finest Techno labels out there such as Rødhåd's WSNWG, Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver and Dustin Zahn's Enemy Records now finally gets round to another of techno finest, Blueprint.

A 4 track Ep of his unique atmospheric soundscapes that always have a raw but modern touch, captivating the listener from beginning to end.

His pure but passionate approach to music has given him the honour of gracing institutions such as Berghain and Fabric, and earned him a residency at the esteemed underground Eerste Communie parties hailing from The Netherlands.

Nachtstrom core-member Frederik Hatsav (Desonanz, Metalogic) is back on track and teams up with Measure Divide on this bass-heavy, distorted 3-tracker. The EP will be released on green transparent vinyl.

After the recent release of their celebrated album "World" the duo offers us this magnificent EP with 2 original tracks "Earth" and "Pursuit" where we can find all this musicality and this emotion proper to their style.

The two original tracks are remixed by the French producer Kmyle and the Italian producer Luigi Tozzi. In its own way each remix brings the vibe and atmosphere of the original tracks.

Sophisticated Curiosity brings creative-minded people from all over the world together

First track On side A produced by Portuguese trio - Pandilla LTD. This project comprised of three individuals, heavily characterised by their deep and minimalistic approach to music. "Corazon" is hypnotic, full of love and hope with the vocals of musician's friend - Anand Kaur.

The second one "Fetre" keeps you on your toes from start to finish. Pretty deep, meditative, minimalistic and trippy by Berlin based Italian producer & founder of labels: Sleep is Commercial, Atoll, Proboscide - Andrea Ferlin.

Side B starts with brokenbeat composition "And then, I dreamt about you" by misterious musician from Japan - Kai Kan. With mixture of stripped down and twisted beats and SE, Noises, voice samples layered over the beats on the top.

And the final track by German trio - Wareika. Rumble in the organic Jungle. With "Heartbeat" Wareika shows its unique quality to combine a journey from break beats, organic pad spheres, drone synthesizer, morphed Pianos to straight beats. Rumble on.

NSA004 sees the artist moving into expansive electro territory, complete with wubs, rolling percs and sassy machine vox that will have dancefloors cruising into blissful body movements even as it scrambles brains.

You could see it as the signature ‘tough but groovy’ Ben Pest sound, refreshed in style for the more breakbeat inclined. Or maybe you could just call it future funk. Either way, get ready to see some serious shoulder action with this one.

Hot on the heels of our first ever vinyl release, Lisztomania Records is very happy to present LISZTWAX002, 'Dobro' LP by Iner.

Kicking off this 6-track plate is 'Vesna', a laid-back blend of deep house rhythms, trip-hop like riffs and sultry vocal samples: an afterhours classic in the making.

Following straight on from 'Vesna' and adding to the chilled atmosphere is 'Gudi Gudi', a unique and clever fusion of pianos, synths, subtly layered and twisted vocal samples, and lashings of sub bass.

Finishing off the A side is disco-house jam 'Uslada', which incorporates styles from around the world and roots then in place with a throbbing house beat and bassline: the perfect end to the A side, leaving you curious and ready for more on the B.

Heading things up on the flip is 'Vezhlivii Losos''. With a big build into an enigmatic and almost classic sounding house trip, 'Vezhlivii Losos'' is sure to whip the crowd into a frenzy.

Providing more of the same but with a contemporary sound, 'Svisloch' is a pounding, rhythmic deep house ride featuring a mesmerizing synth hook and a bassline to match.

Completing the disc is 'Fallstreak Hole', a hands-in-the-air house groove with an unforgettable synth loop, luscious vocal samples and a beat that won’t stop: the perfect end to an anthemic LP!

UK label Dawn State continue their hot streak this summer with further eclectic moods for the dance floor and beyond. On the tools for the fifth outing on the label is KIDWHO, a blossoming talent who through the last years whilst enduring the pandemic found light by burying himself in his studio experiencing new creative flows. The “Warez House” EP varies in tastes, similar to the highs and lows of the times that just passed us by.

Diving into the deep end is the title track, “Warez House”, loopy and hypnotic, swaying between shades of low end leaned house and techno. Off kilter synths and pads maneuver their way around the driving force of the track. “It came together layer by layer, eventually turning into a dense (and at times, unruly!) groove. A final touch
of atmospherics from an old Roland ROMpler and the track was done - bar a generous helping hand in mixdown from Joel Kane (who also turned out a heads-down dub version which might make an appearance!).”

Leaning in a more hazy direction is the blissful cruiser, “Leploop Lagoon”, a deep and emotive vibe crafted especially for the early mornings. A sophisticated deep house energy from the talented producer. “‘Leploop Lagoon’ is the oldest track on the EP, a cleaned-up version of a rough jam I made around four years back. It takes its name from the Leploop, a quirky semi-modular analogue groovebox of sorts, hand-built in Italy. A very unique and unpredictable machine, it’s on bass duties here as well as providing some percussion sounds via the MPC sampler.”

On the flip side lies “Spectral Pattern”, and it packs a certain punch. The rolling arrangement converses in harmony with icy hi-hats that flash in and out teasing the energy, all of the elements having space to breathe and work their magic.“‘Spectral Pattern’ came together quickly one very productive weekend in the studio last year. It developed from the bass sequence, which comes from a Yamaha TG-33, an unassuming 80s digital synth known for its glassy mix of ROM samples and FM tones - very New Age sounding, or 90s computer game soundtracks. But when you strip it back to basics, it punches hard in the low-end.”

Slipping on to the B side is a five minute transcendental trip, offering yet another series of textures to this otherworldly EP. The final track “At Least We Hav Music” is an ethereal soundscape waiting to be explored, wandering amongst ambient realms throughout. “The label was keen to include an ambient track on the release, and I wanted to record something specially for them. At first I had in mind something droning and melancholic, but after a few experiments with cassette
loops and reverb pedals this was the one that stood out. It was recorded during one of the lockdowns, and I guess I needed to create something that sounded more hopeful than brooding. I messaged DS boss Tom Haus with a rough version, and we went on to have a grumble about the gloomy state of things, locked-down in our respective cities and missing friends, family, activities… At some point I wrote ‘at least we have music’ - and almost as soon as I had sent it I knew I had found the track’s title. I’m very lucky to have had my home studio as a refuge through the long months of lockdown, and I’m honoured to have the chance share some of my output from this period on this record.”
KIDWHO fitting the Dawn State ethos to a tee here as they set up shop for what looks to be another fantastic release. “Each of these tracks came about in quite different ways. Like many creative people, I had moments of struggle during the pandemic, where the lack of variety and day-to-day stimulation lead to periods of writer’s block, and so I used those times to focus on smaller, more manageable projects such as making synth patches, recording sounds and and throwing together short loops in my samplers for later use. A number of
these short loops eventually laid the foundations for title track ‘Warez House’. Big thanks to Dawn State, Joel Kane, El Choop and everyone else who has helped make this happen.” -

Well known Serbian artist Marko Nastic delivers smooth 4 track EP for the third release.

It’s finally here. This is the 10th anniversary of the vinyl-only series on Vivus and what a better way to celebrate than with the magic touch of the Romanian wizard, Vlad Arapasu, who has cooked up some very special sounds for you.

We start off with the title track, Inserpia, which kicks things off in a powerful manner. Right from the beginning, a dominant bassline greets you and you know it means business. The subtle percussions added only a few moments later only take this point further: you’re in the middle of the madness, straight from the start.

Next, it’s Daniel Broesecke’s interpretation of Vlad Arapasu’s track. Daniel calms things down a little, with the track taking its time to really get going – that is until the smooth bass line takes over and gets your feet moving instantly.

Finally, it’s time to have a beer in celebration of Vivus's 10th vinyl anniversary. Vlad Arapasu brings us La Cerveza, a song that has a brisk rhythm right from the get-go and adds layer after layer as the seconds roll on. The end result is a joyful affair, the perfect background for a Cerveza on the beach.

9Volt is back on vinyl!

This ep is something special. Nearly all sounds and used samples are made with wooden instruments and nature materials. Alex created his uniqe sound with double bass, bow, wooden toys and tiny instruments as well as field recordings.

With the first Vinyl Release of CUE we cant find someone better than Aney. He is owner of Innocent Music and one of the leading artists in the minimal scene, which he has influenced like not many others.It is therefore not surprising that he gets support from artists like Jamie Jones or Hito.

For CUE, he delivers with the „Time Existence EP“ 2 Dancefloor Bombs which are guarded by 2 Remixes from the Moan Recording Labelheads „Artslaves“ and CUE Labelhead Sven Jaeger.

„Time Existence“ and „I Can Feel“ are tracks somewhere between techhouse and minimal. Driving basslines and techy injections ist he best way of interpretation of both tracks. The „Artslaves Remix“ is an typical rolling Artslaves weapon which will fill your dancfloor immediately. Sven‘s remix is a true drumming monster, that creates its own mood without forgetting the core of the original.

The second release of Resketch is opened by the Ibiza-based talent Ildec, a playful long-lasting track, perfect for the early morning hours.

With the first release of their project "SameSame" on Winder, the two guys now following up to continue, provide a fresh breeze on the dance floor. Mate Koss brings a strong bass line with moving synths and shifted hihats, paired with a groovy breakbeat.

B1 ties in almost seamlessly, CNTRL delivers an incredibly strong groove on a breakbeat basis paired with some oldschooled sounds and rolling 303 elements.

Jan golly closes the wax with a hypnotic firework of deep, sharp and mesmerizing percussive rhythms. Experimental yet straightforward, Jan brings a timelessly fresh cut that captures you instantly, folding you into its insatiable groove.

Carebears are back again with a space journey between microhouse sounds.

Vinyl Only, dedicated to my family, my supporters and all the music lovers. The seventh chapter is coming from Ish who delivered 4 futuristic tracks. A collection of sci-fi samples combined with international dialogue match spacey and futuristic synthesizers sounds followed by clean saturated drums grooves. Influenced by is background Ish is creating his own vision of electronic dance music.

Coming in hot off the press for Picnic 002 is good friend of the party and Amsterdam resident Pelle. The Time Item label boss and close picnic affiliate delivers 2 classy cuts on the A side and a slick side project with studio partner Herra under their 'pH project' alias on the flip side. The EP glides through a mixture of breaks, electro and refurbished 90's tech house cultivating in an outburst of groove on the dance floor.

Roma Zuckerman is in fact the trippiest artist on the label and he is back with a new solo release 'stage of loyalty'. Nobody ever knows what is on his mind when recording his next 13 minute long composition at home in Krasnoyarsk but his signature slow mo murkiness and Roma-like mental groove are unmistakable. 'Stage of loyalty' does just that but also contains minimalist techno tracks and a wonderful italo-esque sounding anthem ,,I like you" that could easily soundtrack a movie where everything is going to be just alright! For the seventh release on his label NORD LTD, Shkedul welcomes on board his good friend Plukkk. The result is a four club-only heavy tool weapons

The Untold Stories returns with an EP of four original works by Dublin based artist Sputnik One. Inspired by Project MKUltra, a program which investigated mindstate manipulation through extensive experimentation between 1953 and 1973. It's the 9th record in label's Protagonist Series and as per tradition will be released on red transparent vinyl.

Lescale Recordings continues to affirm itself as an essential young imprint of contemporary techno music. Label founder Ramona Yacef teams up with the long-established artists Triptease, Topper and Luminér to offer a deep release narrating a story through a musical journey. Available exclusively on vinyl, the EP opens with ‘Visconte’, where the iconic group Triptease (Visionquest) blends an uninterrupted flow of harmonic atmospheres that brilliantly interweave together. Up next, the duo Luminér (Body Parts) expands the sounds with ‘Write Me A Love Letter’, and drops a range of deep emotional beats. On the flip, Ramona Yacef herself works her magic on ‘Allegretto’ and stamps elegant rhythms with progressive synths which weave in joyful builds. To close the set, Topper (Sleep Is Commercial), the contemporary voodoo child, takes ‘The Truth’ to task, combining minimal elements with experimental and distinctive textures.

The italian techno label RXC is back with Various Artists.

Frankyeffe this time decided to print two tracks by Resonances IT and one track from Fabrizio De Santis plus the Frankyeffe remix for Pacha 08.

After launching Pământ with a lauded outing from local Australian hero Venda, Unic return to their sub-label with a visceral new Ep. The baton passes to Ukrainian legend Yaroslav Lenzyak, who holds nothing back, channelling his devastating signature sound across 3 cuts. His ability to lure the listener into a deeply meditative state is on full display here, as raw and writhe rhythmic elements move briskly beneath bold experimental resonances. The veteran producer painting a truly vivid sonic picture.

'Only Then' is a hypnotic and bleepy, floor-focused interpretation of label-boss Black Lotus' & Temudo's vision, transporting listeners to cavities of space and serenity. The four tracker is fully packed with layered, heavy hitting Techno, yet being comprised of enough experimental artefacts and left-of-centre nuances to satisfy even the most curious of diggers. Includes fantastic remix from the amazing Dustin Zahn!

These pieces produced by Modvs emulate and capture the atmosphere experienced in a forgotten city space. Mayfield Train Station stands in the heart of the city. A piece of Manchester's history that remains inhabited, abandoned and frozen in time. Much of the structure is unsafe, poorly lit and access is nearly impossible. Inside lies vast dark rooms, decaying platforms and crumbling brick walls. Modus takes it upon himself to explore such environments, taking inspiration and enlightenment that he injects into his music. This EP showcases the contrasting feelings one can experience when delving further into the darkness. All this also interpreted by Antonio Vazquez and Korridor

PL1 - The first track mirrors the foreboding nature of the dark open space deep inside the structure. Shards of light dulled by dust particles cut through holes in the wall. Droplets of water fall from the towering roofs echoing throughout the open cavern. Noises from outside the station rise and fall creating moments of suspense and fear. The mood enhances as footsteps rattle from room to room giving you a sense of what might have existed in a forgotten time. Delving further into the dark brings only loneliness and isolation.

PL2 - The second track leads you across the platform. A place once inhabited by the hustle and bustle of travelers awaiting their connection, now lays decaying and ghostly. If you close your eyes you can sometimes hear the faint sounds of steam and footsteps ascending the platform approach. A hypnotic but driving track that captures the essence of depth in the most captivating environment imaginable. Words can't describe the feeling of standing in a forgotten world surrounded by echoing memories, but music can.
