Debut vinyl release straight out of Amsterdam from Locked-In.

A 4 track compilation brought to you by a stellar lineup of Jhobei, V. Stuparenko, N-GYNN, and Garouda.

On the A1 Jhobei cooked up a psychedelic electro cut which carries you away on a trippy journey.

A2 Ukranian wiz kid V. Stuparenko delivers a unique composition of tribal elements perfectly setup for the afters.

On the flip. The B1 is handled by the one and only N-GYNN, that bouncy bassline leaves you no choice but to move in an almost mechanical way.

B2 is wrapped up by Garouda with the rolling house vibe, a hypnotic tempo straight from outer-space.

In the early 2000's, the Riverview mental hospital was closed down by the Government and the streets of Vancouver were filled with all that housed them.

One of these was a villain known only as Mr_Barcode, he was deemed mentally unfit to stand trial for his crimes and was incarcerated. In the mid 90's Mr_Barcode began a shadow mission to convert drum machines and standard MIDI hardware gear to use his patented sonic mind control chip.

He had created what was known as "Module 1" and was thwarted by CSIS and captured.

Once he was let loose Mr_Barcode began his experiment again, this time he found sympathizers in his cause- to brain wash the masses and for the machine to take over. Various labels enabled his mission, and thus gave way to the mind manipulation we see today on mankinds technology dependant lifestyle.
Believing his mission complete, Mr_Barcode interfaced with the machine by French kissing a plug socket in 2006, never to be seen until now.
These demos were sent, this time to bring anarchy, we love anarchy, bring on the Witching Hour.

Out Of Office’s inaugural, vinyl-only release launches into circulation revealing outside the box sound designs and risky effects, featuring an unknown artist with two revival Edits.

A Side: “Spacerace” is reminiscent of the late 90’s rave scene, welcoming a fun, old school and groovy production complete with snarling bass and shuffling hats. This track is a gem for any dj trying to control the dance floor as it delivers a driving cut, guided by a filtered vocal and a 909 drum line.

B Side: “Los Niños” brings us back to an early 80’s EBM vibe. This groove driven cut armed with signature percussion hits, punchy and repetitive bass lines, and infectious vocals reveal a sound that stands toe to toe with the classics of the same nature.

Each O.O.O album release is a grab bag of collectibles including: pressed vinyl, a comic insert, co-created with Rick & Morty / Marvel FX Animator, Emma Badia, designed to depict the artist’s journey through life and music, and an O.O.O. holographic sticker.

The 10th anniversary celebration continues with the second installment of the Eternal Series. Four deep, atmospheric and melodic cuts from Tensal, Aleja Sanchez & Ricardo Garduno, Ness and Edit Select.

Pipa Records is back, with the second installment of B-Squit's now legendary EP series. After touring the world for the last two years, he finally returned to the studio. The pressure was high, so he hired some of the most famous ghost producers to create a worthy successor to the acclaimed first release. For some mysterious reason that did not work out at all, but did cost a fortune. So back to basics, he chopped up some old songs and gave birth to this beauty.

Support from the usual suspects of course, except RC7, because he only likes to break records. We love records, we don't break them, please don't do that...

We’ve finally landed our second release of Sounds Of Sirius Music.

After a five year release hiatus, in 2018 Yura Khlop is putting out music under his SE62 alias again. "Jazzed EP" is the second release in the SAFT X series and the Kiev based producer has delivered a class record.

The A-side opening track; "Swing Tool" is built around more jazzed out samples than the other tracks. SE62 cleverly plays original notes together with a hazy sample that serves as the core element. "Jazzed EP" will be available through all specialized retailers in the autumn of 2018. On A2 we find "July". Again a very dance floor oriented record with taints of emotion. The very present chord and bassline dominate the tracks structure until at one point; a beautiful sample is introduced. Positive sounds for lovers of classic deep house.

The title track "Jazzed" is a signature piece of thumping deep house, using swinging MPC style drums and an evolving digital piano riff. This together with some submerged sounding sample shots, create a dance floor worthy ambiance. After "Jazzed", we find "Pitch Black", a sample-heavy jam that is based around a set of characteristic drums. A swinging chord and an infectious chord progression do the trick on this true dance floor record.

Gemini Wax Records is pleased to present Summer Sample 2022. Our sixth release has a collection of Deep house, Soulful house, Minimal tech and Lo-Fi house from across the globe: Adrien Calvet (FR), Mindbuster (IT), DJ Romain (US), Mr. Pepper (RU), So.young (RU), Arie Mando (NL). “2 Sides of House” – Gemini Wax Records. All tracks written and produced by Adrien Calvet, Mindbuster, DJ Romain, Mr. Pepper, So.young, Arie Mando Mastered by Rob Small Mastering (GB)

Phonica Records proudly welcomes the highly respected producer Dorisburg to their main label roster with a brilliant three track EP of expertly crafted Deep House and Techno.

Sweden’s Dorisburg (real name Alexander Burg) has been consistently creating some of the most carefully constructed dancefloor records over the past decade and his various releases for the likes of Aniara, Bossmusik and Northern Electronics are seemingly always in demand with DJs and listeners alike. His stunning debut album ‘Irrbloss’ on Hivern Discs sold out almost immediately upon release and still fetches high prices on the second-hand market. This is all to say nothing of his involvement in the critically acclaimed duo Genius Of Time with Nils Krogh (aka Arkajo).

While his productions can vary widely from upbeat and melodic to dark and foreboding, one thing is consistent in them all; atmosphere. This latest chapter in the Dorisburg story is no different, with ‘House Organ For The Lonely’ starting the EP off with a slow-building and ominous feel eventually pierced by a delicate synth line. It’s the little details that mark his productions apart, with tiny flourishes throughout imbuing the track with a layer upon layer of texture.

Next up is ‘Fumana Prophecy’, a dark, bubbling cauldron of fizzing and whirring electronics occasionally enveloped by dense pads of bass. Hi-hats ratchet up the intensity. Finally, ‘Rhythm Paint’ begins with more earthly and off-kilter percussion before a glistening digital arpeggio dances on top.

It’s yet another wonderful record from one of the most reliable producers out there.

Oldschool Modeselektor tapedeck-material with newly crafted remixes from Sarah Farina and Hard Wax affiliate Dj Pete aka Substance.

019 is mule musiq's 15 years anniversary.

Always innovative - the reliably inspiring Payfone are back once more pushing the envelope with a sonic statement addressed to the late-night populous.

After a series of acclaimed releases on Golf Channel , Leng and Defected records, Payfone now deliver on their own Otis Records imprint.
A dirty punk-funk bass guitar and kick drum combo kick off this 120 BPM party piece before a vintage drum machine steps in to take the track into warehouse territory, like Murk covering Liquid Liquid.

Smoke and sweat dripping from walls cling to your clothes as you melt into the sexually fluid vocals from an international array of vocal talent featuring Kyd Nereida (Dominican Republic) Philissa Williams (Washington D.C.) and Jo Harris (N. Carolina)

Raking in at 9 minutes, the B side is an extended dub version for those moments when time loses all context...

Foreign Policy is the electronic music project of Berlin based artist Thomas Ricard, co-founder of the Area Z collective. "Watching Existence" marks his debut release as well as his first 12", a six track journey of scorched electro industrial & techno body music operating as a conduit for his social observations on the modern condition, human rights and civil liberties. The 12" EP also includes a remix by SARIN. Available as vinyls & digital.

His sound can be described as a mix of influences oscillating between club oriented EBM-Techno and Industrial music, combined with a taste for dark cinematic atmospheres and soundscapes.

Man.... this record.... Man do I rate this record.... Its like you wake up after a night out at Paloma yeah.... And your memory is a bit foggy.... But you know you've danced the night away.... Like proper groovin.... And the lads might have seen, might have danced with you.... But that's not important... The important part was the energy.... The beautiful, beautiful energy.... You roll over.... You check your phone.... No notifications, no worries.. You walk downstairs and your mate Éanna is cooking up some bacon.... Upon further inspection he is making eggs too.... "Oi boyo spare a strip of bacon?"..... Éanna doesn't mind.... You've just scored yourself some bacon..... Great start to the day... You glance outside.... The sun is shining... Your little neighbour Johno is kicking a ball about..... Pure bliss.... This record is pure bliss.

Paris-based DJ and producer Anetha’s enigmatic label Mama Told Ya is a collaborative venture. Pushing artists out of their comfort zone to new heights of experimentation and creativity, yielding progressive results that challenge and intrigue.

The next instalment comes in the form of a kaleidoscopic debut release as a two vinyl pack from French producer and A/V artist UFO95, titled “Popularity is overrated”. This will be the first double EP on the label, with previous records released as split EP four-tracker collaborations with artists and Anetha herself, including Niki Istrefi, Hadone, ABSL and Sugar.

UFO95 is a French electronic music producer, who finds his roots in 90’s techno, UK jungle and also through IDM, creating a unique tribal sound. His lives ( live ; live A/V ) are like his music, dynamic and really hypnotizing. He releases his debut LP “Popularity is overrated” on Anetha’s label, Mama Told Ya.

As well, Anetha collaborates with a different visual artist on each project; Recsoverto takes center stage on the cover for this release, who combines ethereal visuals parodying Japanese video games and hyper-real typography.

The record is beautifully eclectic and has the effortless feel of a live set from a promising new producer. Opener ‘Sun S4lutation’ is a silky melodic affair, diving into a runaway breakbeat with a hypnotic edge crafting an effortlessly colorful trip. ‘2am’ is a tense nosedive into techno’s heady mutations, harnessing a prevailing kick and wormhole synths.

Up next is the masterful collaborative track with Anetha ‘On/Offline’. The track starts with an infectious energy, before vocal inflections and a dreamy hyper-real synth melody blend to hypnotic heights, transporting the listener to a open-air rave. ‘Should I Go’ is heady and bold in its brutal drum work and twisting synths, ‘Enchanted Forest’ is playful and addictive, ‘Rrkja’ starts wild until heavenly synths glow around the edges, and ‘OE’ carries the sentiment of amalgamation with a fierce kick drum and a symphonic chorus. Ending on a rough edged high, closer ‘Volcano’ takes an IDM approach with glitchy drums, weaving synths and groovy vocal inflections.

Jimi Tenor & Bizz O.D. met 1989 in a Helsinki club called Berlin. They decided to move to New York City in 1992 to start the band "Public Extacy" which never saw the light of day. A few years later, Jimi had already left NYC but was visiting so the two met to record "Bizz O.D. & Jimi Tenor's Traffic E.P.". Released in 1995 on OZON Records founded by nobody else but Jammin' Unit and Biochip C. Originally a 3 track e.p.but we at Temple Traxx thought that it was the right time to remaster and reissue this acid jewel and add an unreleased bonus track called "Girls" in this limited edited edition. This 4 track e.p. shows once more that the two artists are real inovators and pioneers of a sound that is hipper than ever in 2020.

BodyMoves returns under the moniker Enver Goyken for his second full length beat tape on London-based label Shapes of Rhythm. Ozan (meaning travelling wise poet in Turkish) is a 21-track exploration of the Turkish side of his heritage, and the alias which is his birth name. Enver's biological dad was from Istanbul, and unfortunately the beat-maker didn't have a relationship with him for most of his life. When he died in 2016, BodyMoves was advised to use his passion for music to explore Turkiye and its culture as part of the grieving process, and to better understand that part of who he is.

"Amongst other things, my biological dad was a musician who first played a part in Turkish rock n roll history, and then as a producer who pioneered modern studio set ups in Turkey, so perhaps I was always going to be obsessed by music myself"

"As a beat maker, my dive into Turkish music inevitably led to identifying samples in the music I was digging into, and although it's been quite a long process, it has resulted in this beat tape project coming together."

Alongside digging into the musical side of Turkiye's culture, it also presented an opportunity to explore thousands of years of history as the bridge between East and West. It's for this reason that the tracklisting reads like a history lesson, referencing famous people and places across time, from archaeological sites and ancient statues to empires, Sultans, armies and tribes of people.

The music on Ozan is loosely framed around hip hop but is unrestricted by tempo. Using his trusty SP404 (championed by people like Ras G and Madlib), and a stack of records and historical references these are raw, raw beats and grooves. The departure from 2017's Cariño beat tape is that here there is a much more global approach to the sound sources. The opener Göbekli Tepe welcomes you in with an introductory stringed instrument fanfare before a whirlwind of polyrhythms move around a swinging, unquantised beat.

Urfa Man quickens the tempo with hand percussion samples and urgent vocal chants and calls, whilst a bassline moves nimbly around joined by a lush Rhodes line. Achaemenid is a lower affair, underpinned by a repetitive dusty piano sample and clacking wooden percussion. In classic BodyMoves style the duration is short but the ideas within it are many. Constantine I is all woozy sub bass and neck-snapping snares, whilst a hypnotic set of hand drums work their way through your brain. Sasanian is a complete assault on the senses with its swirling effects and minimal percussion.

Byzantium is the beat tape's longest and possibly grooviest track, led by a bassline and a reflective keyboard sequence. İznik is another track underpinned by Rhodes and punctuated by an urgent, looped up vocal hook.

Staying true to beat tape tradition Ozan is released on limited white cassette (and digital) with extensive contextual and historic liner notes plus map. Limited to 75 copies.

Yet another all killer no filler album from Omar S!

Wild Style Lion feat. Kim Gordon how the fuck did that happen

Or better ask: how did this young band end up on a record box-set called Psych Box with Hawkwind, MC5, Nico and Kim Fowley out on Cleopatra Records
And if that was not enough they toured Europe with Dinosaur Jr. in Beyoncé's custom made night-liner for a whole freakin' month.

So you would think these guys sit back and get their hard-disks sucked but instead they keep partying and drop ecstasy at Berghain where Khan used to host a monthly party called Smegma with DJ Nd Baumecker presenting bands like The Gossip, GusGus, Opal Bastards or even Lady Gaga.

Wild Style Lion is Philipp Virus and Khan Of Finland a hard working producer-duo from Berlin. Tallmen 785 responsible for the B-side remix who already reworked for the likes of Little Dragon or his good fella Scuba.
Wild Style Lion currently working on a transgender Hip Hop project with mc BIG T shooting to drop a 12' in fall 2018 and a new full length album in spring 2019.

Anything else I forget to mention

Yours sincerely,
Khan (Of Finland)

Physical Education is back with another signature offering. Four tracks, four peak-time cuts courtesy of ‘90s production veteran Bryan Zentz, under his seldom-seen pseudonym: Barada.

Originally released in 2001, futuristic house tones are top of the agenda. There’s a never-before-seen gem in here too, a track that Bryan made at the time but never put out. He found it amongst his collection of Digital Audio Tapes (DATs): now it sees the light of day for the very first time.

From the fast-paced swing of Roboporn to the acid-laced tones of Eye Contact, there’s plenty to get stuck into. Subdrama ratchets up the tempo further, as does The Crimson Boogie - Zentz’ previously forgotten treat.

1989's DIE MINIMALISTEN single get's a 10" re-issue (complete with a Heap produced 'Megamix')

_Heap (who runs WIENER BRUT): „While working on the release we kept on jokingly referring to the record as the „Austrian Mashisa“ due to the similarity in sounds it provides. I first played the Megamix on last year’s Dekmantel Selectors festival, where it showed its potential for being a Summer hit. In fact, the original 7'' release was the result of a final school project with the goal to substitute the Austrian tradition of compiling a class magazine when graduating from school.“

Berlin based Italian Posse conformed by Topper (Triptease, Meander) plus Daniele Papini (Club Der Visionaire, Sleep is Commercial) strikes Momentz Catalogue as a power Duo Named " OИOИ " (Nervmusic).
Three original pieces that spans from techno oriented timbres to a minimalist approach , stripped down occupation of the frequencies fields for a clearer club vibrating record. As a coup de grâce we have España born and based duo Clock Poets for a double conformation of Momentz Records Trend unto Dreamy pads and Micro Sampling ways thru the majestic Modular method of Clock Poets.

"Dar Disku release their fifth installment of middle eastern records flipped for the dancefloor. Teaming up with Milan based duo ‘Eternal Love’ - the desert island diggers and label have reissued a ‘Cairo calypso’ inspired Egyptian rarity known as ‘Zawgy Al Azeez’ along with ‘Yom Fil Kahera’ by 90’s popstar Sally.

Dar Disku was introduced to this hidden gem by fellow MENA crate digger Moataz aka ‘Disco Arabesquo” after his recent trip home to Egypt. Once the duo heard the track, they immediately knew it was destined to be flipped for the dancefloor. After tracking down the original owner of the 90’s Cairo based label ‘Digitec Records’ the duo embarked on a series of online meetings and idea exchanges between Amr (the original composer of both tracks) and Eternal Love. Over a series of weeks, ideas, voice notes and project files were exchanged and by the end of the collaboration … a calypso tinged groover sprung to life.

Embracing the original sonics of 90’s Egypt and combining this with thumping Yamaha DX7 bass, caribbean percussion and detuned snares - a future classic was born. "

Fox Sound records debuts with this 4 tracks release by the Italian duo MDC. It's difficult to classify their music into a single genre. Fresh grooves, acid bassline and vocals, but also dark and introspective sounds, passing from the break beat. Follow the fox.

Stanislav Tolkachev version of “Cytoskeleton“ introduces us to this Ukrainian artist unique approach. With his futuristic and experimental sound signature that quickly has become Tolkachev’s trademark, “ Cytoskeleton “ is transformed in a tense ,distorted world of textures.

Description by: José Marques

We’re utterly excited to welcome again Scott Featherstone on OCD after his first outing on The Secret Sun under his moniker Beyond A Voice.

Scott’s spirit while making music is quite possibly the purest we’ve ever found until today: completely free in his approach to music, ingenuous and without prejudices, to our eyes he makes music like a kid discovers the world setting his productions free from any conformity. And he's a master in his craft.

We’re extremely grateful to have been able to dug through his DATS (some of which are 25 years old!) and to compile this EP that we feel encompasses the spirit of House Music in some of its most emblematic and varied facets.

Up next on Stay Random Natasha comes a beautiful offering from a dedicated microhouse designer, Italo-Atlantian, Tito Mazzetta. In his Memories of Tomorrow EP, Tito weaves a coastal tale of frothy seafoam meshed with sunny droplets, warm bass and sailing melodic concepts. These tracks showcase Tito’s skill in blending atmosphere with tight rhythms- the package comes with a wandering, Club de Visionare-style remix by none other than dark-groover Topper. Not to be missed.
