Belgian imprint Muzik & Friendz returns with the last release of 2019 featuring a 4 track various artist package with Joss Moog, Yusuke Yamamoto, Peletronic & Jakobin and Platzdasch & Dix.

With the forcus set on the deeper vibes this release kicks off with the A-side package of PlatzDasch & Dix’s ‘Pointillist’ a mellow workout sprinkled with melodies and deep vibes, followed by Peletronic & Jakobin ‘Etta Jamz’ a deep and soulful cut with a real dancefloor groove.
The B-side see’s Yusuke Yamamoto’s ‘Kick Ass’ combine an hypnotic pad, bumpy bass and punchy vocals with a wink to the old school, while Joss Moog ‘Oazar’ shows off his exquisite production skills with a grooving and bumping cut.

After asking for some broken beat, the assistant ventured a withering opinion that "won't be monotonous enough, try the house music section instead"
Turns out it was Phil Asher of Co-op fame - who, after establishing a genuine desire for said genre - sold Al a bunch of West London music which became the influence for this EP.

Allowing Sheyi to shine over a bare bones, syncopated rhythm track on the title cut and an equally stripped down 'Satisfy' Al amps up the groove, with the G.I.T dub, which was made for IG Culture's radio show.

One of our proudest accomplishments of 2019 was releasing the very first 170bpm tune from Donato Dozzy. Predominantly known as a Techno artist / DJ, Donato’s musical career is increasingly diverse. From his collaborative work with Neel as Voices From The Lake to his experimental ambient solo works, and his recent LP for Raster alongside Eva Geist stretching into synth pop, the maestro effortlessly reshapes any chosen sound with his distinctive touch.

AISSA RECORDS is a vinyl sub label of its Montreal based digital counterpart SULEIMAN RECORDS. Founded by DJ/producer, Darem Aissa, the name of the imprint pays homage to Suleiman Al-Aissa, one of Syria's most prominent contemporary poets.

The intent is to promote and produce positive, quality electronic music, involving a diverse array of talented artists, worldwide.

ISA001 debuts at elevated standards with Gospegoord. DUBFOUND delivers 3 groovy and minimal originals, while LEE BURTON lends his craftsmanship by adding an impeccable remix to the EP.

Our next Seven Hills release Skies Over Sheffield returns the label to its Yorkshire roots. God’s own county yields this long-lost gem of a track courtesy of Sheffield legends and Bleep pioneers Forgemasters, with three new, home-grown remixes from John Shima, Luca Lozano and 96 Back to complement.

The Forgemasters trio: Winston Hazel, Sean Maher and Rob Gordon first gained acclaim with their now iconic, Track with No Name and hold prestige as the first to ever release on Warp Records (WAP1). Skies Over Sheffield however, has been waiting in the wings ever since its conception back in the early 90s; for nearly two decades the sun had stayed set over the track which lay nestled in an old recording of Winston Hazel’s Sheffield Community Radio from 1992. So we’re very proud to announce the long awaited dawn break of Skies Over Sheffield on Seven Hills Records.

The provenance of this record has always been close to our hearts here at Seven Hills; accordingly, we wanted to have a concept for the remixes that kept close ties to the Sheffield music scene. As such, we have two tracks from born and bred producers - John Shima and 96 Back - alongside one from longterm resident and honorary ‘Sheffielder’ Luca Lozano.

Owl’s hibernation is over. The apex master of original and nostalgic remakes is back to claim his territory at the peak of that credible disco vantage point. This cult labels seventh vinyl release displays The Owl’s diversity in production styles. From originally written bottom-heavy bombs to painstakingly well-crafted funk fuelled reworks. Opening with a masterful adaption of a usually rather disjointed sounding track from the godfather of funk. The Owl seamlessly builds and slices relevant parts, to make a dancefloor song as catchy as it is groovy. The infectious use of a seemingly pedestrian vocal gives the song its rhythmical edge, making it a must-have for any true fan of real funk. Track two relays a deeper edge, whilst still keeping the overall funk undertone. With arrangement and percussion cleverly laid out in a house music format, this track is a very cool crossover from deep nu-disco to deep house. The third and fourth tracks show The Owl’s ability to write original material whilst still adding enough familiarity to keep the release within the overall scope of a rework release.

‘Feel It’ is the stand-out release of the EP, combining a classic house/rave anthem vocal with The Owl’s cleverly crafted original nu-disco backbone. No euphoric hands in the air breakdowns, but enough nostalgia to make the dancefloor crack a smile when the classic vocal rides over a funky new percussion and a swinging bassline.

Lavonz is back on Dansu Discs. After his track on the latest Club Culture, one of the newest members of the Dansu Discs family returns with this 6 track EP packed with classic reissues and new material. In what Lavonz describes as his ‘return’ to the scene, with this ‘Uncut Gems’ EP he brings the distinctive sound that made him such a reputable player so many years.

Mark Broom should need no introduction, a legend on the UK electronic music scene, he is internationally renowned for both his production capabilities and outstanding DJ skills. It’s no wonder that his tracks have graced the likes of Mo-Wax, Warp, R&S, Bek Audio, Ifach (with Baby Ford), Blueprint, Bpitch Control, NON Series, M-Plant, Material and more. Not to mention his collaboration with James Ruskin as The Fear Ratio which has seen releases on both Blueprint and Skam. And over the years he has added to this legacy by self-releasing on his own labels, Pure Plastic, King Of The Snakes and the current chapter, Beard Man.

Now for the first of three EPs, Mark Broom brings his sound to EPMMusic and the ‘One Sound / Myth EP’ sees Broom in pure Techno mode. ‘One Sound’ is highly effective in its simplicity; nothing is superfluous on this grooving, bass-laden beast, while ‘Myth’ is a revolving stomper that’s primed for the dancefloor with its layered beats and shining cymbals.

Adding another dimension to the EP are remixes from Chicago’s DJ Hyperactive and the Antwerp based DJ/producer, Absent.

DJ Hyperactive is an underground Techno hero, honing his skills in the early 90s, he has produced over 100 original tracks and remixes, played at most of the legendary techno clubs across the world and still finds time to run his own 4Trk Recordings. His remix of ‘One Sound’ is deep down and dirty, adding that raw Chicago touch to great effect.

Absent started his musical journey at an early age, when his Father introduced him to vinyl and his extensive record collection ranging from early Jazz to Classical to Rhythm and Blues. At the age of 15, he attended his first Techno party and from that day his journey into the genre began. With African blood running through his veins he has a passion for rhythm and melody, which is clearly evident on his stellar Tech-funk remix of ‘Myth’.

The Matter Of Time’ is a pure dedication to Richard Serra - an artist that inspires me with his challenging and innovative work.

For this release, I wanted to focus exclusively on Serra’s installation, commissioned by the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, comprising eight pieces of torqued ellipses made of weathering steel.

Japanese living legend Satoshi Tomiie is the latest in a number of affiliates to join the Vatos Locos label. His debut Late Night EP unfolds between three driving originals, ranging from the techno roller "Late Night", to the raw and filthy jackin' anthem "Out Of Nowhere" to acid and stripped back "Left Over". As a bonus FUSE boss, Enzo Siragusa delivers a massive remix for the main track, turning the original into a heavy stomper with a grain of UKG flavor.

Upon the arrival of our third release, we are welcoming a Romanian producer who delivers a unique combination of House and Breakbeat with a hint of grooviness. The EP Is signed by Andrei Bumbu aka Hansel! and it contains 3 track's, one on the A side and other two on B side

Following his debut contribution to the label's catalogue this year via the Midnight Shift x Voitax ,"Mothership" compilation, (a contribution saw the artist paired with Veronica Maximova) the Brighton based producer L/F/D/M, also known as Richard Smith, is the latest to join the catalogue on Voitax. Having pushed the boundaries of his own music, Smith managed to release an impressive amount of records throughout the last years and has perpetuated his sound on cult labels such as Cititrax, Midnight Shift, Optimo Trax, Ecstatic and Clan Destine Records. The British producer now returns to Voitax with his "Mutual Autopsy" EP - a strong four-tracker that is characterised by Smith's undenably grainy lo-fi signature. The whole package is armed with heavyweight kicks, bloating basslines and crunchy, percussive patterns, that he perfectly crowns with some memorable and catchy synth lines. The former art student, as well as one half of Bronze Teeth, shows once again his ability to modulate his way into the abstract, while keeping it groovy and warm and firmly secures himself in the ranks with the techno avant-garde.

NPVR is moniker taken on board by PITA AKA Peter Rehberg and Factory Floor's Nick Void. 33 33 is their debut recording made in July, 2017 at The Premises, London.

Peter and Nik both share formidable reputations in the post industrial shape-shifting world of sound and form with a vast range of releases and collaborative endeavours over a number of years. Together they tie together their collective experience into a vast array of sonic devices unleashing an album of pragmatic imbalance and psychedelic orientation. Raumakustik should be a notion - at the latest after their successful
single "Glaub Mir Doch" this year. The duo from Dresden, Germany
was always on the go in 2011 with several releases and remixes for
Labels like Deich Records, Klang Gymnastik or Keimzelle. And right
before 2012 they strike back with "Traumtanzen". This is pure
dancefloor pleasure and already approved within the last months. To
complete the label debut of Grain Audio Mister Marcapasos (Toka
Beatz, Housesession, Dusted Decks) delivers a real house remix to get
you back to the good old days.

The first release in the Rendr vinyl series, A humble moment for the label. Welcoming two highly regarded artists to the imprint who join together to use both their individual signatures and joint abilities to produce two originals that ooze inspiration and soul. PANTHERA KRAUSE is a musician and composer based in Leipzig. He has been steadily recording and releasing music since 2007 with his band ''Marbert Rocel'' and several releases under this moniker on his own Riotvan, and high profile record labels like Lobster Theremin and Uncanny Valley. Amongst his many artistic endeavours, he is also a graphic artist, and seduced by his multidisciplinary approach, Vicario Musique has invited him to join its roster. A producer's solid statement over 3 tracks spanning from hypnotizing cowbell rhythms, chopped samples, happy arpeggios, and spellbinding, beautiful and profound tracks that undoubtedly bring to mind images of him laying the building blocks of a very confident emotion-rich construction set. Finally including a remix by the super duo from the baby pork tacos land, friends and supporters from many years now, Panorama Bar slayers and Aguascalientes'n finest: Zombies in Miami, where they a take a darker approach with haunting synths and latin rhythms.

Hypnus is pleased to present the first solo EP by the talented Primal Code. Following their much appreciated debut album "La Via della Seta"; "Caimano Tribe" takes their sound and the label's visual expression to a new level as we dive deep into quirky terrains.

The record is divided into four cuts with beats broken and speed altered in varying degree. From the suggestively alluring dance floor entrancer "Caimano Tribe" to the sparse, jungle prowling "Mutara Speech" and onward to the B-side which guides the listener deeper into the caiman swamps.
