Hayes is an electronic music platform dedicated to Techno and experimental electronics. Based on strong sonic exploitation, it embraces experimentation as a driving force for artistic production devoid of prejudice. The sound objects that come from it have their own imprint, an aesthetic that is marked by the position that it intends to assume. It assembles as an artistic collective, record label, agency and curator, promoting art as a fundamental element of enculturation and critical capacity.

Kim Rapatti a.k.a Mono Junk presents the second volume of Finnish Electro All-Star on his DUM Records imprint - active since 1992.
The new release is the latest chapter of Mono Junk collaborating with friends, recently with Mesak and Freestyle Man.
The A-Side of Finnish Electro All-Star (DUM-040) features collaborations with top Finnish electro duo Morphology, who recently released an outstanding album on Firescope label. Electro Por Favor is a pulsating driving electro track with a killer bassline and vocals by Rapatti - Electro at its best. Raw, apocalyptic, solitary remix by Mono Junk follows the original.
The B-Side features collaborations between Mono Junk and a very special guest: Goner a.k.a. Martin Maischen, who is known from many hot releases as the other half of German electro act Sandbenders. They were at most active around the millennium and made releases for Force Inc. Music Works and Science City. The two included tracks are deep electroid techno excursions made last year in Berlin - very cool stuff.

The X Vinyl Series continues with label head Florian Meindl at the helm with the upcoming release Metaphysics. Synonymous with deep, dark techno, Florian does not disappoint with this 4 track EP, enlisting in demand producer and Rabe label boss Denise Rabe on remixing duties. Playing live with his Modular Synth set up, Florian began working on the concept for what would become these three original tracks while playing shows over the last month. The live jam character can clearly be felt in the first two tracks Metaphysics and Holomorphic Function. Florian's original Bell's Theorem has a deep melodic structure. With Denise Rabes interpretation, the track is contorted through some serious distortion pedals and broken beat to match her dark take on the synth line. The outcome is an impressive piece for one of those never ending nights in concrete walled rooms with oversized loudspeakers.

The Finnish kitkatone and Berlin based labelowner Mike Wall have created a four track strong EP from the sleeve with "Ears Burning"! Rough, industrial techno in its best form. Italian techno producer Distant Echoes presents the first EP of the new year "Rough Waves", a four-track pack out on the Berlin-based, Southern-Italy born Out-ER label.

Distant Echoes has been building a name in the last few years since he debuted on the Dystopian label in 2014 and toured all around the world, yet, he's been producing and playing electronic/house/techno music since almost two decades. As Out-ER co-founder, he previously released music before the beginning of his bond with Dystopian. In the last years, while Distant Echoes has mostly focused on releasing on Dystopian, Out-ER has indeed expanded its range of collaborations worldwide, by putting out music from Juan Atkins, Orlando Voorn, Terrence Dixon and more.

Distant Echoes now readies the first installment on his own label with his newest moniker, showcasing his typical sound: deep, intense grooves and gloomy soundscapes crafted with exceptional productional accuracy. "Rough Waves" is to be released on vinyl and digital at the end of February.

Dyad is a collaborative music project and label by Ben Gibson and Fundamental Interaction. For their third release they deliver two pieces of mesmerizing warehouse techno in 'Zou' and 'Fully Automated'. To round things off they've assigned Irish techno master Lee Holman, who weighs-in with a devastating remix of 'Fully Automated'.

It's the third album on our label and this time we grabbed on the other side of the ocean! The mexican techno native Israel Toledo, who lives these days in Germany, is the man of now and gives us full-on electricity with - 9 Volts . Being effective with less is the formula which works definitely the most. So let's have a short view on Israel: the fundament of his works were done by launching his own techno imprint Assasin Soldier Recordings in 2005 and releasing since more than one decade. Featuring lots of the mexicans underground music producers has gained a proper standing in many of the heavy-weight-players record cases.

The simplicity of the track names reflects the saying that techno music doesn't need any words to communicate, so here we go with V1 (Volt 1) to V8. All tracks are designed by analogue machines and literally - made of steel , therefore it's reasonably pressed on wax. The central themes are spheres and chords in various moods on pounding beats.

The start is something for the epic moments. V1 floats and flies on a sweet-sounding sphere, holds a warm appearance and can be called a real anthem. In the forthcoming tracks, he draws more dusky worlds and builds industrialized shapes and landscapes with rough chords. He varies with tensions in V2 and V3, soaring rhythms for V4 or creaking basses in V5 with timeless synth hooks, as well as a deep and dubby flavour for V6. Number 7 is definitely a peaktime ruler and the last one V8 for the atmosphere in the morning hours.

On top and that's why it's all about 9 Volts, label master Dominik Vaillant will release digitally the ninth piece of this album - it's a remix of V1!

Three new members of the Fantastic Friends family Matheiu, Goncharov and Balinsky have joined forces to deliver two gems. These two tracks with shades of minimal techno will delight most DJs looking for efficiency on the dancefloor. Enjoy without moderation!

After several years dedicated to to other projects, Matt Star is back with our Fantastic Friends roster, delivering two tracks with simple and effective rhythm, in his trademark style. Your eyes' with Wigbert on the vocal, challenges our sanity with a monkey-like beat that really puts our mind to the test. Like a washing machine that makes us forget anything and sends us flying high. Gorgeous track.


Landscape' is definitely more dub and deep in its intention, which is a direction we like to explore more and more lately at Fantastic Friends, looking forward to spend entire days chilling by the lake... or sea!

Moon Harbour are delighted to welcome a huge summer signing for their next EP: foremost UK producer Huxley turns out three club rocking tunes that all make the big impressions he is known for.

Over the last decade, Huxley has produced a number of huge hits that fuse myriad four four styles into exciting and arresting new forms. His diverse LP from 2014 showed off a range of styles from peak time to downtempo to jungle and came on AUS, while other labels like Hypercolour have also showcased his ever subtly evolving style. Here he is in fine form once more.

First out of the blocks is the summery house bomb that is 'Careo' with its knotted bass, big loopy drums and deep cut grooves. Loose and playful with subtle tweaks and filters, it has big Brazilian Portuguese vocals that are designed to get a huge reaction from terrace and festival crowds, and they surely will.

'F-Bomb' is more direct and physical, with hard hits and solid kicks all overlaid by vocal stabs that are rave-y and fired up. It's a peak time tune to get the whole club punching the air and is another powerful weapon in Huxley's ever impressive arsenal.

Last of all is the trial 'Trampoline', a fantastically fluid house roller with silky bass and muffled vocal chants. It's another one designed for sizeable clubs and summer parties and is sure to drive dancers wild as it twists and turns on tough drums and skewed synths. No one does dynamic and bass driven house as well as this.

These are three charming and characterful house bangers that ooze all the usual trademark Huxley qualities.

Cologne based FEINES TIER imprint presents the second catalog number with ALEJANDRO CASTELLI from Berlin. His NATURAL EP features two original tracks which go by the the name of Peru and Natur. Co-producer is a well known traveling man called NU. Peru is a stomping up tempo piece of sweeping music that blows you off your dirty dancing feet. The second title Natur slows us down a bit and makes us dream of long and warm summer days. It contains a heartwarming vocal sung by his grandma and combines classical South American sounds with a catchy tune. Dimitri is a legend! From his Playboy Mansion compilations to his own tracks, his always inspiring DJ sets and most of all: his never disappointing edits (Prince: I wanna be your lover!). Let's put it like this: Probably there is not one DJ with taste on this planet that hasn't got his personal Dimitri From Paris favorite track in his bag. Dimitri has been doing consistently good music over the last 20 years. Since he first appeared with his very Parisian album Sacrebleu in 1996. He quickly became a worldwide respected European first league eclectic disco DJs - along with DJ Harvey and Ashley Beedle. He officially remixed hundreds of artists. From Björk and New Order to Michael Jackson. He also produced Los Amigos Invisibles "Super Pop Venezuela" album which grabbed a nomination for a Grammy Award. Like changing the channel, changes in one's life can suddenly bring about a new perspective. After moving from Detroit to Seattle, producer Taylor Hawkins suddenly found himself on Flora FM. Previously recording as Community Corporation, this fresh beginning in Emerald City brought new sounds into Hawkins' repertoire. Where he was once surrounded by cheap boogie and disco records in Detroit, Seattle's used bins were full of UK imports, early 90s ambient techno records and the IDM that followed. These new influences injected judicious breakbeats and top notch electro sensibilities into his already adventurous Midwest techno aesthetic.

It's as if his music has come alive, each song a new sound world abuzz with fluttering synths, nimble percussion, and soaring melodies. Recorded as single live takes using an MPC to control his drum machines and synthesizers, the Flora FM music flowed quickly from Hawkins and needed only gentle edits. The eight tracks on his digital debut album, Discovery in the Atomic Garden, document his experience finding his way in Seattle and in life, all through the lens of a fantastic and somehow futuristic musical viewpoint. Fresh off the press - UK's Sentry Records swarms airwaves once again. Reeling in one notoriously effective producer after another, DJ Youngsta welcomes none other than Cimm into the ring. The bass weight badman has already soundly embedded himself in the scene's sonic heartbeat, including releases on prestigious imprints such as J:Kenzo's Artikal UK and the legendary Tempa outlet. Besides vital visual design works (as seen on Sentry's artworks among others), the talented Londoner now spearheads the labels seventh 12" release in full glory. A two-headed beast, once again showcasing the artists exceeding qualities, when it comes to firing up the dance floor in fine style.

Setting sail to the east, 'Eagle Eye' envelopes us in a sense of Asian mystery attached to cinematic drums. Infused with copious amounts of echoing space, a sense of mystique advances. Faint vocal chants chime through nebulous winds as one last statement sends the soundscape into utter frenzy. Cutting right down to the chase, fierce strings lead the way through the nefarious scenery, taking no prisoners as the cut-throat percussion settles any and all disputes. Invigorated with just the right amount of distortion and anthem-esque harmonic calibre, concluded by haunting foley samples.

Switching over to the B-Side, the ethereal expanse gives way to yearning brass melodies, hazy groove afar. 'Old Scratch' fires up a vocal fragment before lunging into a no-holds-barred shutdown scenario. No covert operation as delightfully overdriven 808's pound every last molecule in your vicinity. Abundant dynamics both in micro- and macro-arrangement, meticulously crafted to perfection. Swerving off into contemplation for a breather only to lunge right back into infernal madness. Stripped down to its vital core, the soundscape irreproachably asserts itself with full force.

Zoo Lab is proud to present the first vinyl and for this, they have decided to focus on the italian duo Dubfluss which have already released in labels like Moan, Serkal and Bla Bla Music, Yoruba Grooves and more. "Sumobooth" and "Falser Lullaby" reflect their typical minimal dub style, rich of synth, variations and vocals. Two tracks are finely worked to have a great impact in the dancefloor. Near them, there are two very characteristic remixers who have proposed their own versions of "Sumobooth": Arado ( Desolat-Moon Harbour ) with a strong techno version played around the world, from India to Germany, and Neverdogs (Moan-Music On), with a classic tech style version played during Music On parties at Amnesia Ibiza.

Folamour has worked under a number of different aliases and makes poetic music. As a DJ he has lit up dance floors all over France, and he also runs the FHUO Records label. This new nine track LP is the start of a busy year that promises more music on Church and Defected, all after some fine outings on labels like Fauxpas Music and All City Records. The excellent album is an ode to his love of Japanese culture and mixes up beats and house samples, disco swing and future jazz in ways that work both in the club and your living room.

The warm and musical 'Night of Desirable Objects' kicks things off with loose jazz chords, shuffling beats and welcoming moods that come from smart vocal samples. It's a brilliantly heartfelt opener that makes way for the slowed down grooves of 'Y'all Right.' Trumpets, live drums and gorgeous chords all exude genuine soul and funk, and 'Petit Prince Du Macadam' is an exquisite hip hop beat that echoes the great Dilla.

Elsewhere, 'Ivoire' is a big, afro-tinged cut with bouncy drums and vocals as well as party-starting percussion. 'Look at Me or I'll Steal Your Eyes' then pulls back to perfect loops of funky guitar, trilling chords and organic drum work. Like much of the music here, the loveably rough style of Moodymann is a big presence in this one. French filter styles characterise the sunny disco influenced grooves of 'Devoted to U', 'Oyabun' is a blissed out bit of romantic house, 'Kickflipin' That Stuff' is another gorgeous hip hop interlude weighed down by hot soul and 'Jah Love' is a masterfully melodic piece with splashes of cymbal, brilliant key playing and jazz drums that find their way into your heart.
