From Another Mind continues to establish itself as an essential label with a fantastic fifth
release entitled 'Die Augen Des Teufels' from label bosses SHDW & Obscure Shape.

Marco Bläsi and Luigi Urban are main room techno talents who make no bones about the size of their
sound. Classic techno, rave, EBM and acid all colour their grooves. In 2016 Groove Magazine chose
them as Newcomer of the Year', while they have also released their 'Himmel Und Erde EP' on the
mighty Rekids, as well as remixing the boss's anthemic 'Grindhouse' in recent months. Two years later,
the duo now follow up 'Die Weiße Rose' - their last original release on From Another Mind - with four
tracks that reflect the pair's trademark versatility as producers and the sound they play as DJs.

Things open in monstrous fashion with the brilliant 'Die Augen Des Teufels.' Built on tightly
programmed and unrelenting drums, it has a hypnotic synth line riding about the scales that locks in
your mind while your feet march to the beat. Frazzled synths and icy hi hats add to the pressure and
ensure this one makes a devastating effect. 'Wächter Der Nacht' is equally forceful, with hammering
kick drums and minimal driving percussion joined by a brain frying acid lead synth line that will blow up
any DJ set.

The flip maintains the release's rave-spirit whilst taking things into a more melodic direction. Keeping
up the high class pressure is 'Die Prophezeiung', which has hulking kicks leaning into a stiff wind as
hugely texted synths rumble up top to bring real rawness and impact. This one stays relatively stripped
back and builds atmosphere throughout before closer 'Verlorene Seelen' picks things up again with
quick and slick drums, nimble chords and an irresistible sense of techno force that cannot fail to carry
you away.

Shlomo & AWB teamed up for the opening of this new
chapter of Taapion records ! 3 Tracks crossing their own
respective world, and beyond ! Expect some banging times !

AWB is back on the spaceship. He delivers this time 4 original tracks from deep techno to electronica. Berlin based producer Pris (known for his amazing work on Shifted's Avian) is giving his effective vision of Kinetic Lullaby on the side B.

Chris Schwarzwalder strikes again for Denature Records, this time with a 5 tracks EP: "Catjammer". The track of the same name as well as "Slow Down" produced with Feathered Sun lead singer Jo.Ke have this unique slow and melancholic groove. On the other side "Setup" and "The List" will take you to darker and hypnotic places. The EP ends with "Leaves" which sounds like an invitation to an endless ballad into the sunset.

Codex Empire debuts on SNTS' label Sacred Court

Symmetry is excited to present the first debut E.P. from vocalist and producer Kyo. Writing and creating the songs in her studio, Kyo then developed the ideas of the E.P. further by teaming up with some of her favourite producers; Break, Total Science, Mikal and OneMind.
'Who Decides' is reminiscent of past Break and Kyo colab's such as 'Gave Too Much', a soulful, punchy, uplifting and techy roller, weaved around a backdrop of floaty vocals and elevating pads.
'Murder Tonight' with it's Jungle backbone was the perfect choice for collaboration with Total Science. Rare groove flavours and weighty bass, melded with cutting vocals and steppy old skool breaks, Murder Tonight has all the elements of a modern day Jungle classic.
'Where I Stand' brings jazzy liquid vibes to the E.P. Leading Mikal down a recently untrodden path of musical DnB was a fruitful excursion. This journey into a bittersweet and rhythmic production has created a deep and brooding song.
'Play To Lose' is one for the headzy listener, with it's long atmospheric intro, abruptly cutting into a heavy and deep groove. Morphed and echoed vocals combined with unsettling stabs, cinematic effects and trademark OneMind engineering techniques, takes you on a voyage from beginning to end.

Following two previous appearances on the "Contemporary Dance" and "Quiet Eye" compilations the elusive Lyubocha makes their first full EP release through Black Opal.
"Noblask" opens proceedings and instantly energises with a bass heavy acid jam, sitting on a simple motif and crunching away into the dance."Berzerk" pushes with a slow burning, deep and dubby tech sliced open by red hot hats. "Nenavist" proffers a floral counterpoint to the earlier acid, bejewelled back drops host a perfectly wonked 303 line popping off to the horizon. Closing track "Nikogda" rolls re-pitched kalimba/xylo styles into a ball and jacks it against the wall, hard.
Simplicity is a powerful tool when used correctly. Lyubocha nails a warm, lo-fi techno minimalism on this debut release.

After 2 first Eps in 2016 on Voxnox & ARTS (Digital), the young Berliner Talent Opal comes back on the new swiss Imprint Bipolar Disorder. The Silem EP demonstrates Opal's ease to encompass both energetic, raving, or deeper Techno style,
the main title "Silem" takes the listener right away through a melodic journey aiming to warm dancefloors, followed by the dubbier, more classic/chilled "Capillaries".

"Cadmium" gives acceleration again on the B Side with its stomping bass, before to close with "Solar". A Digital Bonus offered to first 100 pre orders lets the listener discover a darker, deeper aspect of the artist's productions. Never forcing the audience, Op l cares for details and atmospheres. His ability to experiment and blend genres insures him a unique signature in a driven, puristic, dub, leaning toward hypnotic style.

Repressed on transparent sea-foam green vinyl, it includes a booklet that tells the story of Smalls Lighthouse, a download of the LP and the bonus mini album 'Flotsam' - that was included with the initial CD release on Second Language.

With the five year anniversary of its first release on Clay Pipe approaching and the original fetching high prices on discogs, it seemed like the right time to make more copies of Plinth's Music For Smalls Lighthouse available.

Plinth's, Michael Tanner is a musician from Lewes in Sussex who has recorded under a myriad collection of names and guises these include Cloisters, Taskerlands, Thalassing, part of the duo The A Lords - on Mark Fry's 'I Lived in Trees', and with Irish improvisers the United Bible Studies.

Smalls Lighthouse, is located approximately 20 miles west of St Davids Peninsula in Pembrokeshire Wales. Engineered by a violin- maker and standing on flat rocks battered by the sea, the original lighthouse resembled a squat hut on giant stilts. In the year 1800 two men Thomas Howell and Thomas Griffin, well known locally for their drunken spats and quarrels, boarded a fishing-vessel to spend six months together as lighthouse keepers on Smalls Rock. During this time Griffith was killed in an accident and Howell was left alone to fend for himself struggling to stay sane in the isolation of the lighthouse. The music on this record soundtracks the events that took place with beautiful and often gruesome clarity.

Still, I like to listen to them from time to time, thinking of how I was back then, reminding me of what helped shape me, what helped me become who I am now. Sometimes, I also get the feeling that it is not me who wrote the stories. They seem to seem unknown to me, just like they seem to you, because you are not me. Then I listen, and I know again.

Next up on the gold standard tech house imprint that is Roush, comes label boss himself, Hector Couto. On the Parental Advisory EP, the influential Spaniard has readied four cuts of to-the-point club music that cannot fail to make its mark.

Hector is one of the most respected artists around with a truly global allure for his brand of house music. He has released on labels such as Defected, Moon Harbour, Hot Creations and Get Physical and is no stranger to the finest DJ booths in the world, from Ministry of Sound to Amnesia Ibiza. As such any new music from him warrants deserved excitement.

Proving that once more is excellent opener 'Like This,' a wobbly tech house tune that is full of electronic funk. It has great vocals, swollen bass and siren like synths that really get under your skin and demand you dance. Title track 'Parental Advisory' is a real party starter with wild vocals and jittery drums. Off kilter synth stabs and fat bass all make it a hugely fun and characterful tune that is sure to stand out in any set.

Moving on to the essential 'Old Roots', this one comes laden with retro breakbeats and a dusty sense of groove. Air horns and crisp hi hats all get stitched into the loopy groove and pull you deeper and deeper in with each rotation. Lastly, 'Bubble Gum' comes with a snaking bassline that is tough and rugged. Classic 909 pops and clicks pepper the groove, as do plenty of sweet vocal samples and the result is one hell of a tech tune that sounds like little else.

This is another masterclass in effective, emotive dance music and marks another fine release for both label and artist. The vinyl elease will be accompanied by a digital version featuring an exclusive remix from Sante.

Norse Projekt brings Muninn back for release 004 with his EP called Fornjot, some more minimalistic analogue warmths accompanied by a remix from Fuse resident Rich NxT who adds some lively acidic tones to the track Jarnsaxa.

After discovering Non Reversible's unique take on techno via his contribution to two Apotek various artists releases, we though it was time to bring him to the Knotweed family.

Non Reversible mixes acid with the darker atmospheric tones of techno, adding many rhythmic - almost tribal - elements, to his tracks: a subtle blend of old school and modern techno that fits perfectly with the spirit of Knotweed. Enjoy!

(incl. Joris Voorn remix) It's a brave artist who takes on the task of remixing what many would regard as a true 'Classic' record. Especially when said track holds it's own personal memories, having played it's part in shaping their own musical path. Green boss Joris Voorn has taken the plunge, by lending his skills to reworking 'Mengs Theme', a true Dutch techno classic from Secret Cinema's former alter ego, Point Blank.

Cocoon Recordings COR12138 presents three previously unreleased tracks taken from the upcoming - Dots & Pearls 3 mix-cd (CORMIX052 mixed by Daniel Stefanik). The exclusive three tracker starts with - The Concept by Waveshape - an extremely powerful club tune that demands a very good sound system to deliver its full potential. This tune delivers the definition of a fat kick drum par excellence - this track creates a strong vibe and comes with a xxl fat punch! The arrangement is based around a cool organ chord that lightens up the dark techno monster a bit however without cutting of the power and energy. Coming up next is Music On My Mind' by Subb-an. The Birmingham based producer Subb-an looks back onto an impressive list of releases and excellent references in his discography featuring productions for labels such as Crosstown Rebels, 20:20 Vision or One Records. In 2012 he even remixed pop icon Lana Del Ray! Music On My Mind' is a perfect deep tech-house gem, bass loaded and with a decent thrust coming out of the speakers. We especially fancy the hypnotic touch the vocal snipplets give to the tune. Disappear' by Kamran Sadeghi and Julia Govor is slowing down the tempo a little bit and opens the door to the harmonic and experimental area. Clubland beauty Julia Govor left quite some impressions on the floors and behind the decks over the last years. Her vocals for - Disappear create a mysterious flavour. Her intimate singing and spoken lyrics work very well together with Sadeghi's programming and result in a mesmerizing piece of electronic music for the very early morning sets. The three tracks summarize Stefaniks journey on - Dots & Pearls 3 in a very good way. Minimal and deep is the basic line but still with an enormous amount of energy and driving beats. Moving, dancing and listening, you all find it in here.

Freshly based in London, Cabasa mixes up his own UK influences with what his dad has been listening to at home since he's a kid (electronica, jungle, acid-house...). What comes up is a subtle fusion between ambient soundscapes and percussive sounds, from 90 to 180 BPM. He seeks for boundaries between beatless and rhythmic compositions.

Derek Carr has flown back onto the radar after reissues on Ben Boe's 'For Those That Knoe' imprint and a string of newly released music through 2017 and early 2018. In true Craigie Knowes spirit, Derek has been drawn off of the beaten path to supply a wider variety of sounds than you would usually expect to hear from the Irish producer. Acid, Techno and Detroit Electro tinged sounds throughout. TIP!

RFBCOLOURS hits release number 3 with a return from Jamie Trench this time delivering 2 tracks himself alongside JammHot who bring two of their own. Jamie opens up with "Snap" a bassline lead driver with vocal snips that twist and change throughout. Then JammHot bring "Look To The Skies", this one on a more sunshine vibe with garage-esque vibes and great for those day parties. On the flip we begin with Jamie's "She Likes To Play" this one carrying a hedonistic groove that again relies on a dinstinctive low end Jamie loves and this time rallied alongside drifting horns and female vocals. JammHot finish up the 4 tracker with with "Under The Boards" which is the most melodic of the bunch with a more head down persuasion.

Following his impressive remix for Mark Broom, label boss Luca Agnelli is back in full force on Etruria with his new 'Raveolution' EP.
With its 90's flavour kicking things off and its powerful 909 groove, 'Raveolution' opens the release in style. 'Forget It' heightens the rave atmosphere with its continual rolling stabs and a sultry vocals sample.
'No Gravity' takes us to the dark side, with its relentless groove and deep chord sequence creating an unforgettable hook. Luca closes the EP with 'Shimmer', a fresh and hypnotic tool of peak-time BPM perfection.

Snips is the founder of Barbershop Records and co founder of Livin' Proof, with over 15 years experience as one of Londons most prolific DJs and over 10 years worth of production credits across Hip Hops underground. 2018 has seen Snips emerge as a budding solo artist, fusing the production styles of Hip Hop, House, Soul and Funk in the same fashion as he is known to do behind the turntables.

With his debut album "The Barbershop" making waves on both sides of the Atlantic, garnering support from a cross genre selection of heavyweights such as Karizma, Benji B, Eli Escobar, House Shoes, J Rocc and Henry Wu, Snips returns on his own label Barbershop Records with his first independent release "London Livin'". We are happy to introduce our Second Vinyl - Excuse Fear EP. This time it's gonna be solo EP by really talented musician from Spain - EQUAL aka Dakpa.

Marc Leclair aka Akufen, has long been considered one of electronic music's most fascinating producers. An early pioneer of the so-called 'microhouse' sound, he's perhaps best known for his work on Perlon and aside from Akufen, his Horror Inc. alias. His latest comes at us from emerging Italian label, Telharmonic Texture. The label's third release (following releases by Jeff Samuel and Paradroid ft. a remix by label boss, Pressure Point), 'Music 2 Wiggle 2' sees the Canadian perk up with three original tracks. As always with Akufen, they're striking in their originality and level of detail especially. 

A new mysterious label emerges from the grey outskirts of Romania - Eightyfive Records pinpoints the time period in which the musicians were born, a mixture of groovy industrial revolution beats and post-communist moody themes. Because the EP is presented under full anonymity, you'll be the dancing judge of how these artists showcased a few childhood memories.
