Cockney Lama infuses bumping basslines, sampled vocals, catchy chords, tight percussion and a whole lot of love. Following the ethos of the label he blends the right amount of old skool vibes to sit this perfectly on the right side of the 90's bar. No gimmicks, just pure house vibes that groove for days.

G. Markus - Smoking Hut Ep
SNKY012
Sneaky
excl29.08.201629.AUG.16

HouseDeepNu Disco

At Sneaky we are very pleased to welcome G.Markus. What can we say about him Not much apart from the fact that he makes super groovy old-skool house beats like not many can these days. Spreading perverted twistedness mixed with great classic housey vocals, 'Smoking Hut' will be how your dance floor will end up when you play this record out.

Recently also known for releasing great re-edits on Soul Clap records and as part of S.H.A.G Edits VA on Roots for Bloom.

What else can we say Well, not much, really. G insisted on having a clause on the contract that clearly states that his true identity shall not be revealed. All we can say is that he's a real mofo and that you'd be better off listening to his music instead of to this silly banter

Laurant Garnier - Cool House release!
Scuba - 4 Stars !
Skream - 4 Stars, will support!

Hydergine - Gamma Experiments Ep
KW016
KNOTWEED RECORDS
12inch26.06.201526.JUN.15

TechnoTechno

Finally Hydergine joins the Knotweed Records family! Hydergine (aka Roberto Corizzo) is a techno producer from Southern Italy. He is best known for producing raw dub techno, and has come up with a string of fantastic releases in the last 3 years on labels such as Separate Skills and Ranges. We have been talking to each other since the early days of Knotweed Records, trying to find the right tracks for the label. Roberto approached us at the beginning of the year with some tracks that were a bit "different" than his usual productions: he was experimenting, and we liked it a lot. That's how the Gamma Experiments E.P. was born. The A side of the Gamma Experiments E.P. is a heavy atmospheric techno bomb. Both tracks on the B side have more an acid feeling to them, incorporating weird arps, rawness and pad trips.Enjoy the ride!

Melokolektiv, Sei A - Children Of Alep
OFF125
Off Recordings
excl27.04.201627.APR.16

HouseTechTechnoMinimal

Melokolektiv's French roots stay firmly put in Blame', his first release as a one man project.
Opening track Blame is a steady tech groove exploration that fits both the dancefloor and late-evening downtime. A mumbling vocal helps build up a slowly ascending tension that lingers on til the end of the track. Children of Alep' starts off on a tribal note, as blunt percussion pads intertwine with solemn bells, but soon delves into the deep tech territory. Punctuated by gritty riffs
and synths, all the initial elements are stripped off and the bassline remains the centerpiece.
Sei A, Scottish producer known for his affinity for bass, injects the track with plenty of bounce. Sub bass bits mix with rattling low end synths, giving the remix an electric feel.
Bass is the key word for the final track as well. Magnetic Woods is filled with raw techno power infused through gripping bass and a minimalist structure. Percussion pounds heavily throughout the full length of the track, while dramatic synth pads set a
very energetic tone.

Midnight Operator - Behind The Scenes
IR021LTD
Indigo Raw
12inch27.11.201727.NOV.17

HouseMinimalTechno

Ten Years Behind the Scenes - An Anniversary Celebration Keeping anything alive for a decade is worthy of a kudos-but when it comes to club culture and dance music, 10 years is an admirable milestone indeed. For Indigo Raw, it represents another opportunity to bring in the left-field, high-grade dance inducers. And this time, the raison d'etre of the labels tenth anniversary release is a certain infamous duo known as Midnight Operator. Centered around the eponymous creation by Nathan and Mathew Jonson, Behind the Scenes EP is an ode to the kind of off-kilter, moody techno the pair have become infamous for. And on this particular occasion, we're taken for a journey in more than one sense. Equipped with a classic Jonson bass line and a scant little phrase that carries the track all the way through the end, Behind the Scenes is a lesson in transmutation. Sombre beginnings undergo a gradual shift into dancier, sunnier territory-until we are left with the impression that we've tuned into a channel that runs all the way through hills and past Martian wildlife. From dark to light, the brothers lift a veil to reveal a resolutely ecstatic piece of work. One that, in arriving at a very different place from where it sets out, earns all eight minutes of its wandering. In continuation of the jubilee excursion for this anniversary release, reworks of the flagship track have come in from across the globe. From south of the equator, AtomTM delivers an assertive piece that takes the darkest aspects of the Midnight Operator original and, with the help of a relentless stream of stabs and a sped-up beat, brings them into the spotlight. Meanwhile, Nerosky-as in Nerone(indigo Raw label partner) & Fosky-makes their debut with a piece collaborated in the confines of a smoky Catalan studio.

Va ( Fatty Mombassa , Rudi Botha , Miggza , Rob Slac , Kieron Ayres ) - Sounds From The Den Vol 2

Friday Fox Recordings
excl15.06.201615.JUN.16

HouseDeepVocalChicagoNu Disco

Christian B & Lavvy Levan return with the second instalment of their 'Sounds from the Den' series on Friday Fox Recordings. This latest vinyl 4-tracker picks up where Vol.1 left off and continues to explore the outer reaches of the house genre, kicking off with the massive 'Weak' from Fatty Mombassa which combines Fatty's now trademark spoken word against a ferociously infectious disco influenced groove. South Africa's Rudi Botha & Miggza return with a looped-funk affair in the form of 'People Come Together'. Rob Slac delves deep into the dark recesses of a tech-style groove with the deliciously sultry 'Lonesome Butterfly'. The package is completed by the upfront sound of Kieron Ayres 'What Must I Do'.

Various - Ex Aequo 006
EXA006
Ex Aequo
excl08.08.201608.AUG.16

TechnoTechno

The recording seal that runs the Spanish producer Alberto Pascual, Ex Aequo, releases its sixth work.

In this Various Artists EP we come across four tracks, where the sounds speak by themselves, they meet and fail to meet up, they twist and reinforce until its limit. These are sounds that hypnotize, but always preserving a genuine identity for every track. It's
rare to find an EP with the strength of composition such as the piece before us.

A1. Jnks - Dome: a track that hypnotize from beginning to end thanks to its crafted synthesised sound that despite its minimalist approach, gets to fill the space, the one which hardly glimpse gaps due to its overwhelming kicks. It's pure adrenalin on the
dance floor.

A2. Another Librarian - Book002: when the bass drum raw opaque techno, occasionally wrong timing, run into the torn ambient, the one with sounds that seem to scratch
begging for a way out, the one that follows that rhythm guided by hi-hat that grow and tune in a minimalist key. Then and only then, at that very moment, was born a track like Book002

b1. Pascual - Deuce: brilliant track increases the EP rotations that play with the listener's minds because of the excellent use of the synthesised sounds and the textures that circle as if they were a buzzing, they stir, disappear and appear over and
over again. If we separate its structure, we'll find that every sound is suitable for the motion of a different part of the body. The kicks boom and move your feet, the synths fly around your head, the open hi-hats that demand a constant arm flapping. Some
beats that meet in a music ecstasy.

b2. Hironori - Takahashi Angelist: there are many people that think that the present and the future of techno go through tracks with Angelist features. Dark and noise, inheriting the most strict ambient, but with the rhythmic harmony than only a techno
track can give. Its strengths is based on the impulse of a single musical note which is modified in different frequencies along the whole theme, a very productive way to accompany several atmospheres, to originate split minds, to recall freedom. A perfect
track made of agonizing sounds. We come to an end with this track.

Matrixxman X Setaoc Mass - Pitch Black Ep
FIGURE087
Figure
12inch06.06.201706.JUN.17

TechnoTechno

Figure is excited to present the first outing of what might soon prove to be one of techno's most promising collaborations. While Seatoc Mass' two pristinely crafted EPs have already left their mark on the label, Matrixxman has been turning heads across the scenes with his exceptionally prolific track record. Drawing upon common thoughts on futuristic themes and their respective strengths as producers from different continents, their joint effort clearly conveys one distinct approach, yet unites the seemingly opposite. Regardless of being no-nonsense dancefloor-weapons, the four tracks still brim with detail, their vibrant elements communicating playfully. On their shared EP these artists have struck a rare balance. They delicately hover between the spacious and the claustrophobic, the modern and the classic, the stern and the elated - while never losing focus of their mutual mission.

Tiga - Planet E Remixes
TURBO183
Turbo Recordings
12inch14.11.201614.NOV.16

HouseTechTechnoTechno

Turbo Recordings is proud to present the definitive collection of remixes for "Planet E", Tiga's collaboration with Hudson Mohawke from this years No Fantasy Required LP. In fact, we're so proud and excited that we're going to jump straight into blow-by-blow trackdescriptions while the passion's hot. 01- Dense & Pika Remix Hypercolour label boss Alex Jones and Chris Spero (aka Glimpse) deliver what canresponsibly be called one of the year's biggest chart-topping smash remixes. This wasalso released on Counter Records as part of Tiga's album deal, so at worst you have aspare copy for your bomb shelter. 02- Danny Daze Polyester Mix We have been trying to get this Miami-based producer on the label for years, and thisremix is the closest we've gotten so far. Sometimes life is about compromise, and if youget enough future-italo-electro hits like this one you may be lucky enough to forget whatyou wanted in the first place. 03- Melé Remix Don't you ever dare say that Turbo doesn't care about young UK producers. Until youstop for good, we'll keep tapping talents like Melé, whose love of Brazilian beats, classichouse tracks, and trans-Atlantic hip-hop shine through on this mix. But while genre checklists are great and vital and exciting and so much of the reason we do what we do, it's the music that's the pudding you'll find your proof in.

Walton - Praying Mantis / Koto Riddim
TEC099
Tectonic
12inch24.11.201724.NOV.17

TechnoTechnoBeatsGrimeBass

* Walton drops his third instalment on Tectonic in fine style, calling upon Japanese influences to create a truly unique sonic across both tracks in the release. Asian instrumentation meets directly head to head with the cutting edge sounds of a UK grime-techno axis to great effect.

* 'Praying Mantis' captures all the charm of a fine Japanese watercolour painting by means of some spectacular midi-harp programming. Hi-hats and detailed percussion set a shuffling pace, building the mood up before a beautiful harp section unfolds and takes over, expertly programmed by Walton to sound as if a master harpist had stepped into the room! As drums and bass join the party we have all the makings of a low-slung grimey masterpiece, both soothing and energising in a perfect zen balance.

* Flip then for 'Koto Riddim' which again brings Japanese influences to the forefront of the track. Walton programs classic sounding Japanese percussion sounds along with grunting vocal cuts and a charming flute-based melody. As the track drops, it switches into a more familiar, grime-based palette of sounds, deftly arranged for most dangerous impact.

Insolate - Renew
OOP-002
Out Of Place Records
excl16.06.201616.JUN.16

TechnoTechno

It's been a year since Deeply Rooted record label signed the very first ep from Insolate called "The Mood Module". Taking into consideration the label foundations, namely DJ Deep, you know that there must be a substantial artistic talent to become a part of the label. Well, Insolate surely has it. Behind this name stands one of the most prominent Croatian artists in the last decade or so. Widely recognized for her work through production and dj-sets, she's been faithful to raw and head-on techno stomps.
Last year she started her own vinyl label - Out Of Place. Its a collaboration project with her soulmate Volster, who signed the first OOP release, the "Nihilist" EP. Now under Insolate name, she evoked more complex and dirtier sounds while maintaining the crisp and fluid rhythm sections.

Consisting of four individual stories, Renew is a push into dark realms of space fluctuations covered with a gloomy atmosphere. By space fluctations we mean the "Deep in The Shades" track. This atmospheric bounce gives the impression of being held in a cosmic error with a constant background pad reminder of no escape and the main synth creeping in just in time.
Title track Renew' is a more sinister piece that starts off with an electrified bass sequence that pushes forward while the decaying hats invite the impeding doom of the lead synth. When it starts to mix up with the distorted vocals it gets a dark and sinister form which goes in overdrive with the bursting 303 in the end.
"Every Word is Wrong" is basically an evolver. Sturdy rhythm, delayed low shots and dominating synth sequence that evolves throughout the track with cymbals climax that leaves almost acidic taste in your mouth. Perfect tune for early hours with the ability to push one more dance out of your feet.
First association for "Human Conductor" is probably massive and powerful sound system. It starts of with a fat drum beat shortly followed by panned and stretched hats. Soon the lead melody forms into relentless sequence with vocal stabs that goes into break and spits out pure insanity. This is nothing short of a proper techno banger.

Supported by: Dj Pete, Dj Deep, Rolando, Jeroen Search, Norman Nodge, Donor, Truncate, Drumcell, Philippe Petit, HD Substance

A second later, the cracked speakers begins to output an electro type beat which catches them off guard, but continues to grow louder. While it sounds good, it is still unusual and they look at each other and start to back away. Overtaken with curiosity, one of the kids runs the other way wanting to find where the wire goes....

Talker - Battle Standards Remixes
STANPRAC003LTD
STANDARDS & PRACTICE
12inch24.11.201724.NOV.17

TechnoTechno

After unanimous praise for Talker's "Battle Standards" and play from the likes of Ancient Methods, Headless Horseman, Sunil Sharpe, Mumdance, Shifted and many others, Standards & Practices returns with a powerful set of remixes from iconic UK techno artists Surgeon, Regis, and Broken English Club.

Anthony Child kicks off the proceedings with his first remix in a year, and it's one of his best to date. His version of "Battle Standard" takes the track in a radically different direction, building a hair-raising wall of sound culminating in an unforgettable melodic refrain-beautiful and brutal in classic Surgeon fashion. The A2 track is a special bonus: a Talker cut only previously available on a limited edition CD compilation. Entitled "My Favorite Color Is Gold", this is a dark and cinematic ambient take on "(Gold) Standard".

On the flip, Oliver Ho delivers a remix of DJ favorite "Snub Nose" under his Broken English Club alias. His overhaul is nothing short of remarkable - only retaining a segment of the original drum track, he adds a post-punk-esque vocal while a vicious, monotone bassline snarls underneath, sounding like it slithered off of a Big Black LP sometime around 1985. Regis closes the EP with his brilliant broken-beat take on "Battle Standard", stripping the original to its essentials for maximum dancefloor impact.

As with the label's previous EPs from Stave and Talker, this package features stunning full-color sleeve art from acclaimed graphic design studio Common Name, and a limited number are pressed on silver colored vinyl.
