BlackFoxMusic is celebrating its 10th birthday with its 25th release. Our new compilation - Kapitel 5' comes in a rebellious outfit, but holds a variety of electronic music.

As usual it features tracks from exceptional artists, who haven't released on our label before:

Douglas Greed who has released on labels like Exploited, Parquet Recordings or BPitch Control wrote a smoothly rolling track for our compilation. - Methology' seems to have an ever evolving melody on top of a very strong basement.

Arriving as the first release of the new sublabel series FIGURE JAMS, this split EP by Fabrizio Lapiana and Amotik serves not only as a crafty cut in its own right but also showcases a particular type of package, which Figure will be facilitating from now on. The A-side is taken up by a pair of Lapiana's irresistably dense grooves that unmistakebly tread in the footsteps of his homeland's highly emotional techno, unafraid of big melodies but also injecting just the right amount of twisted acid to set the floor ablaze. This sense of grandeur and space is also reflected in the work of fast-rising producer Amotik. Painting with his very own colours as an equally epic scenery, its bleak and post-apocalyptic landscape dominated by broken industrial beats and hypnotically swirling synths.

The original Klakson funkateers Steffi and Dexter return to true form with three punchy techno/electro cuts! "Zatlap" on the A Side is a lush nighttime driving track with an urgent bassline powering all through the song while spaced out strings develop. The B-side's "Kopstoot" is a pure funk workout in the Detroit tradition while "De Fles" builds a stack of airy pads on top of a playful question and answer bass riff to maximum effectiveness!!!

Edits for the common man, that's 4 Edits covering the Leftfield side of Disco Music, limited to 275 hand-stamped pieces.

First there's Norway's very own Ivan Elster nodding his head to the late Walter Gibbons with his take on a devastating Gospel Disco tune. Then we've got Frank Music's Johannes Albert fusin' two Hi-Energy bangers and Mr. Fonk serving a "Disco not Disco" hymn to all the guys that crushed your toes senselessly. And last but not least: balearic blogging boy wonder FRWCTRL coming up with a nice slice of Middle East meets Eurodisco.

Figure 86 finds the label's headmaster revisiting a dormant classic from 2005, delivering two extended excursions that pick up on the lunatic vibe instilled by the original while each mix provides for a uniquely new experience. Sitting on the record's A-side is the Hardspace Mix, a sparse and bone dry rhythmic affair, built around the originals characteristic cut-up vocal sample. A hammering thump carries along the track relentlessly, the air of oppression created only amplified by a heavy assault of clangig claps. The digital bundle comes with an even more stripped-back Hardspace Tool version, making it an excellent surprise to throw in and out of mixes. On the flip Faki takes opportunity to show us one of his lesser known sides, taking time to gently develop this Deepspace Mix into a meandering meditative journey. Trading in the vocal for a spaced-out synth opens the track up for the shifting tribal drums to truly work their magic and makes this piece of music feel equally mysterious as it sways with cosmic energy.

The debut release from UK based label Brick Recordings "Cracking Skies", is a three track EP written and produced by Rob Gribbin. Featuring subtle deep house and techno grooves. The attention to detail and sonic quality is evident within the music.

For Modern Dancefloors excavates an unexplored corner of Chicago house history highlights Chris Ike & John Kardaras' who in the 90s under varying names. Edits by Savile & Steve Mizek.

* In the midst of his recently accrued status as a 'Masterchef' finalist, long-standing Dispatch stalwart Survival returns to the label with a highly anticipated new solo album, 'Take It Back'.

* Inspired by working with Script on a Metalheadz album as 'SCAR' last summer, Survival went straight back into the studio, with a renewed hunger to focus on his own solo material.

* 'Take It Back' represents the first Survival album since his 2009 debut on Exit Records, re-engaging with his core sound and this sampler demonstrates both sides of his sound today.

* Harking back to the 90s, 'Original Silencer 2017' revisits the breaks and samples on one of his first ever releases, before collaborating with Break for the inimitable stepper 'Catalyst', another stone-cold classic from the duo and a track exclusive to the album sampler.

* With a fresh outlook on his artform, with exciting plans to link his music and his cooking, Survival takes things back to the source, rekindling with his most celebrated DnB moniker.

Acid-S and Roughnic met in late 90ies through producing and DJ-ing. They organized undergroundparties and developed their skills in music.

Acid-S worked in studios like Akropolis (EMI, BMG), X.1 (WDR, Kraftwerk) and Sinsport (Groove-Attack, Interworld) as producer and engineer. Roughnic is a member of the Riddim Box Crew and played bookings from Poland to New York, represented IASI on his supportgigs for SBTRKT, Zed Bias, Benga, Chase & Status, Example and Skrillex.

The science of pattern, drums and futuresounds are their common sense. In 2012 IASI release their first EP 'Vision' on the berlin-based label SUPERB recordings.

A1) New vinyl groove techno producer Ruben Martinez and the famous Romanian singer Alexandra Stan large pump version already known in the World, joins this fusion of Romania and Spain to create this magnificent version for all techno lovers, highly recommended for vinyl lovers.

A2) The Colombian duo formed by MicroBeats & James Corquita presented Deep Inside Me a track that combines the elegance of House sound's with aggressiveness and forcefulness of Techno Sound.

Antsinplot delivers the next four by four episode of live recorded ice cold animal techno from the North ! This solid four tracker features a similar sound palette to the wonderfully received Bonered001...

No one else but one of Chicago's finest DJ Lil 'Tal is responsible for the ninth Footjob release. The underground veteran has brought himself to attention in the 90s by releasing on the legendary label Dance Mania. "Who Came To Boogie" on the A-side is a pretty disco loop combined with tight and uncompromising drums - undeniably an ear-piercing banger - followed by the label owner Phonk D's insane filtered remix version. The B-side consists of the rough, reduced-to-minimal drum track "Jack Your House" plus the funky sample tune "Buzz The Doctor" with a beat that makes your dancing feet run straight to hospital. FOOTJOB german record label launched in 2014. run by Phonk D - focussing on house music made for dancing feet.

Amalthea And Io's first release, Galvanize EP is a conception of different new ideas that have surged in the strong influx of different styles of deep grooves in the recent years. Malbec and Duky have built an advanced musical spaceship that entices the dancer to move constantly as well as keep them curious to the frequencies emitted by Amalthea And Io's Satellite.

While producing the Viscera trilogy, Fango has tried to understand something about himself. In order to do this, he had to enter into his own body, just like Dante entered hell, studying and analysing himself from the inside, diving through organs, guts and grey matter.
Did it work Yes and no, depending how you look at it. For sure, it helped him in the creation of 3 devastating and introspective EPs, but a lot of questions are still unsolved.
Viscera part 3 is the last leg of a journey that disrupted your 2016 and marks the beginning of a new absurd phase for Fango, but this is another story.
For the time being we leave you with Amnios, Metacarpo and Metulla.

Fool : The track is built around a roaring 808 kick which immediately emphasizes the raw straight forward character Haste Midi wants to attribute to the track. On the other side the pads which are sampled from a 70s vinyl provide the warmth and width the track needs to harmonize in a housy way. It also reects the analogue aspect which is an essential feature of Haste Midi's sound. The second part of the track is marked by a beautiful vocal sampled from Midways '84 classic "Set it out". Again this soft element stands in contrast to the whizzing hihat which adds additional drive to the track. Finally the two basslines are rounding off the track making it a minimalistic retro-house tune. With his Remix, Daniel Stefanik added some smooth, chilled out sexyness to this Track.

Gone : Gone begins where Fool stops. Straight 909 drums and percussions hit on looped atmosphere and a bassline, that even might bring pensioners to dance. Rounded by moved claps and a trumpet in the break, this song is created for the dance oor. Gone is a homage to the straight, danceable House sound of the early 90´s. With his Remix, Ruben Mandolini added a straight forward Techno attitude to the Track.

We are glad to present this especially charismatic EP called The Balance. Headlined by talented musician from UK - Oliver Rees with his weighty acid motive. For the balance between old and new worlds, this EP contains motives produced by USA New York based mates Nathan Kersaint, Ivan Melnik and Tony Werk.

Rumah & Progression return to Blueprint Ltd following their debut EP, 'SC1' for the sub-label in 2014 as well as an appearance with their track, 'Speak And Spell' on Blueprint's 20th anniversary compilation 'Structures and Solutions' this summer.

The Bristol based duo continue their functional no-nonsense approach to techno on the new 'Wind Up and Squeeze EP' bringing their youth and vitality to these hard-hitting DJ tools.

With depth and texture they deliver four tracks of bass-shaking robustness, whether it's the stomping jerkiness of 'Candid', the dark and menacing title track 'Wind Up and Squeeze', the rotating layers of 'Warm Bodies' or the simple effectiveness of 'Lein'.

After relocating to London and playing shows around Europe for a year and a half, self-imposed pariahs Penelope Trappes and Stephen Hindman delved into creating a two-sided existential opus by renting out old studio spaces around the UK and using mostly analog 80's instruments, machines and effects.

Wavy patterns of sound and light bounce off of Penelope's literary vocal bursts, layered over the ominous deep synths and arpeggiators, held together only by a strict 4/4 beat. The rhythm, ironically forcing the body to move, however internally focused and mindful, still.
Record two, ALONE, takes the club offline and into the fringes of raw, odd pop.

Vilena Records is 5 years old and decided to celebrate with it's first vinyl with 4 tracks. Side A is characterized by dub sounds and two tracks: the first one by Matt Star, German artist who manages Repeat Music and has productions on labels such as Cocoon Records, Kling Klong and many others, the second track is by Alex Veronesi and Paolo Mosca aka Rejekt. Side B is composed of two tech house tracks: the first is by Stan Garac, Spanish artist class '83 that has collaborate with labels like Viva Music and Hall of Fame, while the second track is by one of the greatest artists of Vilena Records, Massimo Pozzi aka Max (Italy).

A seemingly relentless flow of creative activity continues for Yousef in 2014. An endless global touring schedule, showing the world his authentic and live 3 deck Djing dexterity, a man at ease in front on 10000 people, as he is 100. Ibiza to Indonesia, Argentina to Australia, South Africa to South Korea, few corners have been untouched in 2013.

Looking forward to forthcoming music for Loco Dice's impressive Desolat imprint, this year has also seen Yousef release music with Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical and Defected. He has remixed Carl Cox, and elevated his own Circus Recordings to a remarkable level by releasing this years biggest club track, Green Velvets "Bigger Than Prince".

Yousef's collaboration with The Angel, the anthemic "Float Away" released on FFRR/Warners/Big Beat Records was this summers Ibiza hidden treasure and is still simmering nicely. His singles for Defected have topped Buzz and Download charts alike with "Beg" taking root at the top of the Beatport charts for an astonishing 10 weeks.

With "Believe In Love" Yousef returns home to Circus Recordings with 3 cuts that have been turning heads all summer long. The title track features the legendary vocal of Roy Davis Jr who once again, asks the world a poignant question. A rolling, infectious and gnarly groove develops and unfolds into a long and harmonic breakdown before a blistering crescendo. Designed for the heads but with still enough action for the people that follow Yousef's more musically trickier offerings.

Just A Beat in exactly that. Yousef busts out a stripped back boogie bass over tight drums and oddball acid. No messing around, heads down, hands up. What Is Revolution is completely reworked by Circus label mates Acid Mondays. Remixing one of the stand out cuts from Yousef's recent "a product of your environment' artist album, the Mondays show how to bring authentic house music into the 21st century.

A fun and frightening new On The Hoof release, as mysterious Earwiggle mainstay Faetch joins forces with label head Sunil Sharpe. From the bouncy, funk-filled beatdown of "Pueblo Stomp" to the tense, slippery moves of "Wriggleee", to the unruly acid and belligerent barking on "Trainer Books"... HOOF005 marks an impressive first outing of this new collaboration.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa or simply the Tower of Pisa (Torre di Pisa) is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known worldwide for its unintended tilt. The tower's tilt began during construction, caused by an inadequate foundation on ground too soft on one side to properly support the structure's weight. The tilt increased in the decades before the structure was completed, and gradually increased until the structure was stabilized (and the tilt partially corrected) by efforts in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.

Ticking all the right boxes, this 8-bit monster pops with superfly 808 drum programming and chirpy coin-op effects. Presented on limited
silver grey 'electro-friendly' vinyl housed in a unique hand stencilled sleeve...

Releasing timeless music has always been one of the main aims of Hivern. Sometimes, this purpose asserts itself in curious manners. Take Margot's 'Moderno', a track made in 2003, several years before the label was born. Actually, when Pepe and Giaga produced the piece for a punk oriented art installation, Margot didn't even exist as a project. 14 years later, 'Moderno' sounds as fresh and contemporary as it can be. It's one of those cuts that chases a very specific idea with a very unconstrained scheme, that knows exactly where it wants to go, but is not sure about how to get there.

CONCEPT is the new baby established by the already international well known artist agency My Favourite Freaks, which consists of a four part and monthly released series starting in December 2015. All tracks will be out on vinyl and only for real and freaky club boyz and party girlz. International celebrated artists of the agency collaborated to create such a big collector's item.

Last but not least it's time to finish the CONCEPT series with the fourth vinyl release and again with big names of the music producer scene.

Rhadow creates the first track of the A side. Belong is the name of the tune, which starts with deep sounding kick drums and a deep, groovy bass line. The track is like a DJ tool and with the vocal phrases it tries to drill into your brain. Rhadow made a huge arrangement for a more techno driven house track.

Arjun Vagale isn't a no-name at the techno scene anymore and he is well known for his surprising and always working music, he is creating in his studio and en route from gig to gig. Just as he has done Patterns. Instrument sample loops and fast beats, mixed with sample cuts and a lot of effects, build up to the climax, until the track explodes for the listeners on the dance floor.

Now it gets more techno driven. It's Ramiro Lopez' turn. Mystical synthesizer leads, bass lines and vocal cuts with delay effects are being hammered into your head with his booming kick drum. Hihats are forming the main groove of the track. Head banging is always welcome when listening to Ramiro Lopez Paradise!

With the last title of the Vinyl named Herd, it goes darker. The track made by Rafa Barrios has got a huge hihat and percussion overhead groove sitting over a pumping kick and bass line, running until the quite break down. A build up evolves, until... OH YES! Hands up and keep on dancing!

What can we say...25 years of Techno, madness, touring, producing, playing, raving, Acid, EBM, Ambient, Experimental, Dub, Electro, countless records, remixes, collecting, screaming,...

All we can say is that we're looking forward to the next 25 years :-)
