'Elocution', the third Figure EP from portuguese producer Lewis Fautzi, again displays a high degree of versatility but still comes cleary cut for the club.

Employing a rich yet spacious sound design, Fautzi creates cinematic scapes that are at once both brimming with the hums of olossal interstellar machinery yet at the same time leave enough room for a range of carefully sculpted elements to do their work. Whether it be the twisted acid arpeggio on opener Shizophrenia, the imposing drones underscoring the mighty Mirror or the propulsive percussion of centerpiece 37B. Testament to Fautzi's talent of engaging arrangement, never do the tracks here feel hurried nor do they become stagnant - but rather given just the right time to ripe into their full captivating potential.

No matter if one is to approach this records as already an avid lover of Lewis Fautzi's work or comes to it simply looking for fresh takes on the classic formula, this enthralling EP certainly will satisfy everyone's needs.

secretsundaze 017 comes from London based producer Endian. Releasing just 2 EPs in a few years on Nonplus and Electric Minds, Endian has nevertheless managed to turn the heads of the likes of Steffi who used one of his tracks for her Panorama Bar compilation and Boddika who also licensed a track for a various artists EP. Sounding like a producer far more experienced than the two releases would indicate, it came as no surprise that this is far from the output of a novice but the seasoned veteran George Levings aka Commix (Metalheadz).
Endian has been a regular at secretsundaze events over the years and a friendship developed with Giles and James. The project is an outlet for him to release the more technoey and house sound that he is increasingly inspired by.
Lead and title track 'Finish Me' is a stone cold killer. Ballsy, raw and over driven in the mix, a tribal breakbeat groove builds before brassy stabs sneak in. The peak of the track sees dramatic pads cut through for a moment of serenity before the drums drop back in. Joy Orbison used 'Finish Me' in his Essential mix late last year and its also been a highlight of secretsundaze's sets over last 6 months. 'Dusty' goes deeper with a layer of fuzzy warmth enveloping the track. Driving but definitely one for the later hours or early on with its hypnotising flow and subtle musical flourishes. Last up 'Sub Tropic' is a heads down, growling, low slung techno track with its deep sub bass. This is definitely a track you can imagine hearing in the bowels of Berghain well into Sunday daytime. 'Finish Me' is arguably Endian's best work to date and it's another fine addition to the secretsundaze catalogue.

Recordings in July this year, Martin once again shows his breath of influences and
versatility as a producer by dropping four innovative bombs in our lap.
Like Zephyr, the bringer of the summer storms in greek mythology, Martin Lewis will blow
your mind with this genuine release.
Side one comes with the narrative 'Revelation'. Twisted and lurching arrangements rip
through a landscape of flute and ravestep samples while the subbass thunder rages from
afar, followed by 'Here comes', an uplifting and morphing breakbeat smasher which
refreshes you like a warm summer gush.
'The beat', a sweaty hot summer dream with melancholic timbre and sizzling synthie
arrangements opens side two followed by 'Jukebox' a dodgy future step hurricane which
crashes into a glitchy sample storm front and a sanguine vocal finish which tells us: Thank
god, we survived!!!

Norse Projekt returns for a 3rd time with the Bulgarians at the helm this time round. Anton Pau delivers 3 minimal groovers accompanied by an Alexandar Kyosev Interpretation on the track aptly named after the EP P-Loop. Lots to love about this EP, support again from the industry players xx

Since ancient times we knew that everything was about vibration, velocity and frequency. Anubis Ep wants to bring back metaphorically that solid foundation of reality through music and feeling. The first track, Anubis, like the Egyptian god, provides a safe passage to another world through its dub chords, dark techno berlinish synths and hidden messages in the voices scatters on the whole track. The remix, made by Canadian based artist Hooll, has a more minimal and deep dub approach completing perfectly the other side of the journey. Finally the last track, Thoth, represents a mediating energy between dark and light with raw low ends and groovy percussions creating a wormhole like journey for the listener.

Next up on Spazio Disponibile is a pair of artists who played the party of the same name at Goa, Rome last year. Their name is Crossing Avenue and their MO is to make experimental techno in a hi fidelity style that is as cerebral as it is physical. Here they do so across four fantastic tracks. Crucial is first and is a big, warm open space filled with tiny little flecks of sound, delicate synth flashes and rolling rubber drums that truly hypnotise. Malandra is another bit of burrowing mind music that is hugely atmospheric yet notably sparse and economic in design. The drums roll below as watery droplets, ghostly pads and haunting organic hooks all roam and snake about in the mix. Rimbalzo is darker and more direct, with a supple techno groove forcing you to move as flashes of synth, alien life forms and subterranean ambiance all colour in the airwaves. Last of all, No Coasts traps you in another underground cave with only desolate drones and bulbous bass lines for company. It is eerie, but beautifully so, and rounds out another fascinatingly cinematic release.

2015 has been the year that Moon Harbour turned 15, but rather than focus on the past, Matthias Tanzmann's label has continued to serve up fresh future sounds. The next artist to do so is Lewis Boardman, a long time UK talent who has released on a clutch of fine labels in his
time.

Desolat, Play It Down and Souvenir have all served up the club ready sounds of Boardman in recent years. He himself is also closely associated with Circus having been a resident at the legendary Liverpool party for years, and all that DJ booth expense clearly pays off when in the studio because his tracks come complete with all the key ingredients to get people moving.

Boardman's debut Moon Harbour EP opens with 'Stay Together,' a slow burning, deeply delicious track with a hooky vocal riff and grinding bass that really work you into a lather. It is expertly balanced and reserved at the same time as having a big, long lasting impact. The excellent 'Push It Right' is then a grainy, static laced deep house swinger with kicks that rock back and forth and lull you into a subtle, supple groove.

Next great cut 'Aww Shit' then ups the ante with a rickety, train track like percussive line and vast, firmly rooted rubber kicks that really resonate with each hit. Another deft vocal adds a fine hook to the track as you wiggle your behind from start to finish. Last but by no means least, the dreamy 'As Yet' then gets swampy and minimal,with gurgling bass and glistening, knife edge percussion making for a wavy groove that is serenely tripped out and expertly seductive. Again a well treated vocal is the icing on the irresistible cake.

This is a classy and cultured EP that is one of Moon Harbour's deepest and headiest for a while.

Lucidflow make a ninth journey onto wax with label co-owner Nadja Lind's 'Tribe Dub', and no punches have been pulled with the array of top drawer remixers on board - featuring Brendon Moeller, Tigerskin & Jack Jenson, and Terry Lee Brown Jnr. Nadja's original fires on all cylinders with a frantic sub-bass assault that isn't going to be happy unless your lungs have been thoroughly bruised by a main room's speaker stack. As the bass tumbles, phasing dub stabs gracefully arc into the stratosphere and back again.

Production veteran Brendon Moeller steps up first on the mix with an interpretation that plays on the dancing dub elements of the original. A bare percussive anchor runs through the track allowing the rest of the elements to waltz around it in a shimmying and synchronised display.

Usually present under the Dub Taylor guise, Tigerskin adopts his main identity in tandem with Jack Jenson to bring a bit of dreaminess to the dance floor thunder of the original. Here, the elements are whispered, like the hush of walking out on a first light and frost covered morning. As the frozen pads thaw out, you emerge from the countryside into the hustle and bustle of the city, with apt field samples layering over the subtle and insistent groove.

Plastic City head honcho Terry Lee Brown Jnr is given the task of tackling Nadja's stellar 'Ignore And Block'. Like Tigerskin & Jack Jenson before it, the theme here is frozen melodies over precisely deployed percussion. Anyone familiar with his work will immediately find them at home in the deep-but-tech groove laid out over the track.

Coming out in 2017, the release will surface on smouldering orange marbled vinyl.

Veerus & Maxie Devine have already championed their names as creators of a lush
blend between electro house and techno in the past years. With releases in labels as

Sasha, they have forged an impressive relationship with peak time dancefloors all

To celebrate the new signing, Kenton Slash Demon have released 'Harpe' - the first half of a forthcoming AA-side 12 Harpe/Syko. They are an illusive act whose infrequent originals and even rarer remixes became early morning staples at our club nights in Sydney over the years. We never expected it but when we were recently sent demos of some new original music to consider it was an easy and natural thing for us. Jesse Siminski otherwise known by his DJ name Heartthrob and as label boss of imprint ISNISNT, returns with a fierce 4 track EP (5 tracks Digital) of jacking modern acid funk. Heartthrob has been producing for over a decade and his innate ability to create cutting edge and propulsive techno grooves has kept him busy with a touring schedule that takes him across the globe, as well as a new party series named after the label. His third release titled 'Haus Arrest' begins with the track 'Never Wanted One.' This track builds upon a solid manifold of thick arp bass, dusky synth melodies and sharp TR 909 drum work. Midway, a complex and funky bass line propels things forward, working with the jacking drums and spare synths. The release continues with 'Hours Lost.' This track fuses codes of Detroit techno with spinning Latin tinged drums and a rough funk tinged arrangement. Industrial stabs bounce and build until the main melodic theme rises and burns. 'A Fete Worse Than Death' moves through swinging drums, steady pulsing synths and a growling bass that builds to a crescendo of warped cosmic techno. The last track on the Vinyl 'Does Your Car Know' is a straight and steady drum led jack track. The pitch mutates, shifting through acid bass and more Detroit reminiscent pads.
