For the second time in as many releases, we at Second State are proud to deliver a brand new artist to the label. This time it's the Techno savvy Michael Klein from Berlin and with his Drawing EP, he delivers three stellar tracks cut from a master's palette.
Starting off with the title track 'Drawing', Michael takes us on a journey deep into the celestial spaces between lush dub and four-to-the-floor mayhem. Littered with
massive stabs of solar bursts, 'Drawing' is a thrill ride at a neck break pace perfect for lifting the whole place off the foundation.
Following the opening track is 'Illusive Space' and the name says it all. Like a jet engine, the drums do all the work, propelling the ship into hyper speed while just a couple massive blasts of a synth act as shifts into a higher gear with no slowing down in sight. With the final cut 'Pattern Movement', Michael enlists the help of Genevieve Marentette to pull off a colossal grinder of throbbing percussives. Interweaving
agile drums with auditory hallucinations of provocative female vocals chant what everyone wants: 'Get it'. We couldn't be happier to have this guy on board and think you will agree with us unconditionally. Welcome to the Second State family Michael Klein!

Bonar Bradberry and Tom Thorpe, AKA PBR Streetgang, return to the Futureboogie fold with a gutsy and energetic big room floor filler in '12.32. As regular contributors to the label (their last offering being a collaboration with X-Press 2), the duo ramp up their production aesthetic with swirling acid licks, gnarly bassline waves, pumping drums and searing strings. Clocking in at over the 12-minute mark, PBR are given the space to really work the elements, which result in a magnificent production that will really work some dancefloors this summer. On the remix, London based producer, Fort Romeau, works his magic, off the back of stellar singles and albums for the likes of Spectral Sound, Running Back, Ghostly International and Live At Robert Johnson. Keeping the pace and mood pumping, and remodeling the melody riff, Fort Romeau takes us on a deeper, more cosmically energised trip, soaking the synths in reverb and cranking up a touch of distortion to keep things raw and vital.

Seventh 12" on the 10 years series featuring tracks by Shifted, Yves De Mey, Oscar Mulero and Retina.it.

Deeply Rooted House welcomes french techno veteran Zadig! He recently has been dropping some heat on his own label Construct Re-form, and he is back on our favorite French label DRH with three killer tracks! The raw and energetic TTRXL, the more subtle and grooving techno monster with its haunting sounds called The Grip. And the mysterious case of Harry lime with it's own pulsating dark energy in a classic early minimal techno as we know from Axis and M-plant! Another essential Deeply Rooted House 12"!!

For Cardinal number8 we are happy to present you Ilario Liburni.

Releasing an album is a daunting task, especially in dance music.
You got to keep it fresh and exciting from the very beginning until the last track, not sticking to one tempo, make tracks that work both at home and in the club and ultimately tell a story with your music.

Alexander Lay-Far knows a thing or two about this, having his debut album 'So Many Ways' out back in 2013. The thing with Lay-Far and a big reason why we've always had a soft spot for him is his way of incorporating a certain magic in the tracks that leaves you on an uplifting and optimistic note. Therefore we're really excited to release his second album, How I Communicate, on Local Talk.

How I Communicate is a two part vinyl release which we hope will come as a fresh breeze in these days where so much dance music simply lacks the actual musical aspect or the organic approach.
Like most producers and DJs that are influenced by soul, disco, jazz and the blacker side of electronic dance music its all about the actual 'tune'.
Listening (or dancing) through this album we hope you'll find your special tune (or tunes!) that hopefully will bring joy to your ears.

To his aid Lay-Far has invited an impressive cast of collaborators such as Ashley Beedle & Darren Morris, Restless Soul, Sean McCabe & Mark De Clive-Lowe to give the tracks that little extra something under the watchful eye of Lay-Far himself.

Or as Lay-Far describes it himself 'The album is about the music as the universal language, the ultimate means of communication, bringing people of the world together.'
Part 2 will be released in the new year...

After his first successful album debut, we select some Track to remix.
We are proud to present this amazing collection of top remixers.
Emanuele Pertoldi, Nico Lahs, Matt Star, Audub, Tears Of Change, Red Pig Flower and Daniele Casa. No more words are needed!!

Quality Vibe Records present second record on the white cat. from a new great talent called St. David with 4 House/Acid tracks, you cant miss it in your bag!

From Milan, Italy we happily welcome onboard to EarToGround, Wrong Assessment.

Mainly known for his work on the prolific M_REC LTD, our attention to Marco's Techno came from tracks released on Cleric's label C L E R G Y, very soon after a line of communication was opened and demo tracks were created.

The end result is what you have before you. A six track Ep consisting of x4 originals, x1 centralised locked groove and x1 atmospheric. Functional, emotive, very playable, Dj friendly, dance floor Techno.

Futureboogie spring straight into action in the New Year with a killer single from the much loved German producer, Lauer. As one half of Tuff City Kids (with Gerd Janson), as well as flying solo with two albums on Permanent Vacation, Phillip Lauer has been producing since the turn of the millennium. A cohesive and highly active output of music has come on labels like Running Back, Beats In Space and Brontosaurus amongst many others.
His single for Futureboogie pulls together two outstanding productions; 'Birsk' is a pacey and unrelenting beast of a house tune, its bassline expanding bigger than the waistlines over the Xmas period whilst the meaty drums and snare rolls escort in further melodic touches and delirious automation on its synth riff.
'Kilian' comes more leisurely in pace but no less effective. A choir-like pad underpins the frenetic energy mustered up by Lauer, again adopting a heavyweight bassline against the nimble melodies and the buoyant vibes offered up here. With a supreme sonic gloss and 'never fails' piano motif, 'Kilian' works wonders on every level and will no doubt be ringing all of speaker stacks for some time to come.

Italian bred artists Uakoz & Alex Lentini deliver their debut OFF EP, after earning much praise for their recent outings on Terminal M, Flash and other labels.

A love for spacy techno is the common element of all 4 originals. While Isolated & Puzzling rely more on psychedelic sinewave melodies, Nothing More & Changeless feel closer to dub techno.

OFF-head Andre Crom created a very functional remix, reinterpreting parts of "Puzzling"'s notes with a bass synth, and a hypnotic arrange that works steadily towards a central break.

Daniele Di Martino now comes back with an EP that is made for long and dark nights in the small clubs. Therefore, Di Martino goes back to his roots by creating straight deep house combined with a pushing bassline, as he does in the original version of Faust - providing a result that is perfect to be played somewhere in the deepness of the night when there is no time for hesitation. The second track Different comes a bit more melodic, includes vocal snippets and leaves space to breathe und feel - while the bass is as dark, it could dig an aisle in the middle of the dancefloor.

Daniele Di Martino's two tracks are reduced to the minimum - thus, they present a little less of the easiness and playfulness of his former releases - however, this is no chance but the producer's way of expressing his development as an artist.

The third track leaves a completely different impression as it is made by techno-legend Thomas Schumacher who gave Faust his personal interpretation. Since Schumacher is an expert in creating clear and straight-into-your-face techno sounds the result comes harder and even straighter than the original. It crowns the EP by leaving no space for thinking or dreaming and reflects the intention of the whole trilogy.

Debut EP from In Any Case co-founder, after several appearances on various artists. It was time for him to express himself on a full EP. True gear digger and scientist of the dusty beats, G2S delivers a very nice 5 track EP including two astonishing hip hop beats for opening and closing.

Following on from son.sine and Sven Weisemann on Delsin's deep and house leaning series of releases is Artefakt with a new three track affair entitled The Fifth Planet EP. The Dutch duo has been making music for the mind on labels like Field and Prologue for a few years, and are experts at conjuring up atmospheric grooves that seduce your soul. Opener 'Transit' is a thick, heavy and heady track with rubbery kicks tunnelling deep. Above it, smeared, sombre synths gets stretched and skewed into trippy forms and the whole thing has you as a slave to the groove. 'From Our Minds To Yours' is quicker and more overkill, but is again rooted in rolling rubbery kicks. Hypnotic once again, the synths here are lighter, more airy and more uplifting and induce trance like states of mind. Lastly, 'The Fifth Planet' steps it up another gear, with celestial melodic patterns, heavy synth daubs and spine tingling pads all expanding around a ticking techno groove. This is expertly crafted, serene and supple stuff that will sound perfect in the dead of night on some intimate and spaced out dancefloor.

After his special-edition release Snork08x, finally here we go with the Snork08 follow up, with two selected tracks of Jens Zimmermann, who is really well known from his releases on Room Recordings, K2, International Freakshow, Harthouse, or Treibstoff or for example his Drum´n Bass past as DJ Gargamel. He also cooperated in

200 COPIES ONLY! Joss and D.Lamar have long been more than capable production brothers, often hooking up with one another to concoct delectable house-inspired gems. For their latest workout on Joss' Artreform label, the Ukrainian duo lock horns once more for an EP that's positively draped in shimmering overtones - and another one that suggests there's plenty of talent
to be found when you go out East.

Reevolution is the name of the EP in question, and while it may allude to some sort of political overtones, the one thing that'll leave you after listening to this EP is the statement of the music on offer. In original title form, ''Reevolution'' is dark and atmospheric but driving too, the sort of track which quite expertly plays on the talents of both producers. Full of mysticism and breathy vocals, it's restrained when it needs to be but also full-on on occasion.

On the remix front, the guys welcome Metodi Hristov to the table. His take on the track is more straight up and set towards a strict path, although it too isn't lacking in the ambiance stakes. Yet more excellent work from the label, we're quite sure you'll be digging this one for some time to come.

Support from Sasha, Betoko, Animal Trainer, Butane, Camea, Chris Fortier, Digitaria, Him_Self_Her, Horatio, Joyce Muniz, Leon, Luna City Express, Marc Poppcke, Mihai Popoviciu and others.

Mr.G is extending his well received Personal Momentz LP with an add on disc. 4 G style club tracks that fit perfectly with the original discs. This record could/should be used as an addition to the original album.

Limited pressing on coloured vinyl including remix by Orphx.

the new release by youandme (kammer music) on snork !!! great minimal tech house stuff !!!

Bristol has long been known for its deep love of everything dubwise, from reggae through to the flourishing bass scene the city is now synonymous with. Hailing from this melting pot, dubspeeka continues the tradition with 3 heavy cuts that effortlessly blend speaker punishing subs with the driving, crisp techno that Oliver Huntemann's new Senso Sounds label is becoming known for. First up is Move - the title an unavoidable directive seemingly emitted from the propulsive groove. The track oozes menace and tension -its heads-down attitude will go over big on harder-edged dance floors. Likewise, title track Fargo is relentless in its mission - the tough bottom end and tight groove is offset by some surprisingly subtle pads - but the result remains a hypnotic bruiser of a cut. Spiral Tribe, named after the legendary free party warriors of the 90s, completes the release. Every bit as at home in a dark warehouse as a outdoor rave, dubspeeka seems to be flying the flag for true tough-as-nails party music - and long may it continue.

Jey Kurmis needs little introduction after an amazing 2015. The Hot Creations and Moon Harbour Favorite delivers a stomping underground ep with fellow producer Shannon. Two underground bass driven tech originals are complimented with remixes from man of the moment Jacky, whilst Apollo 84 shows us why he's in demand for remixes with his collab alongside Konflicted Soul.

Panel Trax has grown international due to the producers and the trax being played abroad. The label is releasing trax in the spectrum of techno, acid, minimal, detroit, ambient and dub.
It is into oldschool a new things as well but doesn't want to follow the actual trends. It just has a focus on atmosphere and sounding.

DREF033 sees the return of two long time label friends and contributors, the Scottish Deepbass and the Italian Ness. Despite the fact that both of them are prolific enough solo acts as it is, once in a while they combine forces and deliver a co-produced masterpiece, to which the Outer Limits EP is no exception.

However, make no mistake: the fact they have found their signature sound, does not mean they aren't constantly reinventing themselves. For this occasion, the two have made sporadical use of euphorical synth sounds, even gently alluding to trance at some point. Apart from that, they have adequately built their ever-evolving soundscapes upon subtly processed percussion.

A welcome addition to the two original tracks presents itself in the form of the talented producer Shlomo. The Frenchman has given his version of Outer Limits a powerful breakbeat foundation, making this EP into more of what it already was: a match made in heaven.
