All Vinyl New Releases - News

* Over the past six years, Joe Moses has done it all. Under his Need For Mirrors name, his efforts have resulted in a series of releases which have rightly been labelled as classics. From Metalheadz and Playaz to Dispatch and Spearhead, NFM has been everywhere.

* Also one of the names behind the legendary London d&b night Soul In Motion, Need For Mirrors' quantity is easily matched by his quality. His excellent music continues on HZN093, the Lvrs EP for Horizons Music, which contains three tracks on the physical release.

* 'Wow' is the a-side, bringing elements of the old skool to a decidedly modern pallette. A slow burner, this one sets its stall out over a delayed intro. Dropping down into some classic late night vibes, the tune picks up to display its full beauty. NFM create the atmosphere, with some live sounding effects and rolling beats. Feel the pulse and feel the flow, this one is simply Wow.

* On the flip, 'Down Time' again runs with a retro inflection, this time upping the pace and letting the sounds envelop your very soul. Playing around with melody and tempo, Moses creates a new world at every turn. One minute there's a liquid vibe, before adding in more bass, this is truly a tune for everyone. 'Lvrs' meanwhile, brings things down a little, with removed synths marking the backdrop for funky, jazzy chords and some frankly brilliant drums. There's different sounds creeping in all the time, so look forward to this one surprising and delighting you.

Just over 6 months after his debut EP, House Grand Cru's head honcho Nathaniel is back with a completely new release. The name of the EP is Tuntea, which is Finnish for "Feel", and that is what this EP is all about. Two originals in Nathaniel's signature dramatic deep house style, reflecting honest feelings and emotions. Dramatic, but with a dash of happy. On the A-side of the release is the title-track "Tuntea". With this track Nathaniel really managed to explore his own musical boundaries, taking things deeper than ever before on House Grand Cru. On the B-side we find No Wrong, containing surprising vocals, slow piano riffs and a serious twist of playfulness. B2 is the Tierkratz remix of No Wrong, taking it to a completely different side of the house-spectrum. Dancefloor material!

Since the beginning in 2012, the label has in its DNA the desire to mix arts and genres to develop a singular esthetic. Dogma: illustrate each record cover by a pre-existing work to establish a correspondence between music and contemporary graphic art.

Stigmates #2 features home made artists as well as close collaborators and newcomers, for who sound experimentation and testing of all kinds of analog instruments are the very substance of their creations. An album which moves between fresh and unreleased music, warm and cold-beats, down and up-tempo taking in styles across the globe.

MF productions are playlisted and played all around the world by DJ's like: Laurent Garnier, Jimmy Edgar, Pedro Winter - Busy P, The Hacker, Dave Clarke, Arnaud Rebotini and many more...

VSA records debuts with the two label founders - Vinyl Speed Adjust - forefronting two monster acid cuts - The A side "Lost and Found", makes due with some very intriguing bassline rhythms, melodies, vocal chants and breaky hi-hat patterns whilst the B side - "Black and White", seemingly continues the idea, retaining the specific Roland sound, but in a much more industrial techno fashion, with a more obvious kick drum and looped out rhythms. Vinyl only.

A vinyl only release on MATERIAL! Spanish master Wally Lopez delivers a grande hit only for 12inch lovers.. VOCAL ANTHEM destinated for tops!

Label boss Daniel Boon returns to Berlin's mighty Neuhain with another flaming 2-tracker EP including also remixes by 2 brilliant minds, DeKai and David Temessi.
Expect nothing less than high-octane techno, ready to melt every dance floor

Aus Music follow up a string of records from fresh signees Paul Woolford, Tom Trago and Recloose with the return of a long term friend and label favourite Marquis Hawkes. Hot on the heels of his recent LP 'Social Housing' - the Berlin based artist lines up 'Doornroosje', a tight a two-tracker that remains consistent with his output on Aus: dancefloor-focused jams suffused with simplicity and soul. 'Discopuss' kicks things off with a potent combination of samples and hardware as sassy Funk samples are propelled by tough crunching drums. The title track then follows up with piano stabs and busy, percolating synth lines driven at a pacy rate to rapturous effect rounding off another solid addition to Aus Music's catalogue.

Following their remix on Alkalino's EP, the mysterious production trio QLab reappear on the DaBit Record label roster, this time with an EP of their own.

This EP kicks off with two remixes on the A-side, the first by way of the Berlin based, Italian producers, 'The Analogue Cops'. The Analogue Cop's turn in an analogue laced, monophonic, growling version of the original track. The Cop's a Moog-esq bass line grows and almost screams, whilst chopped elements of the original track delay in and out. This one is a real foot stomper. Giovanni Damico is enlisted as the second remixer and adds some more funk to the original track, upping the tempo and stripping it back.

The two original tracks occupy the b-side of this EP, both tracks have the same swagger and panache as the Alkalino remix previously delivered to DaBit towers by the QLab boys. 'Why' is a solid slab of jazzy house, carried by a fluttering Rhodes melody. The second track 'Rise' employs a heavier kick drum and bass combination which gives the track a much rawer and club focused sound than 'Why'.

The DaBit crew show they have the ability to think outside of the box on this release, a diverse selection of music which will be found in many DJs record bag.

Axkan delivers a soundscape encompassed in dark, hypnotic noise. Hailing from Los Angeles, his style is very unique and sought after, making its way onto labels such as; The Cast Project, Rheostatus, SecreTechno, Switch Off, From 0-1 and GBB to name a few. We are proud to feature Axkan on our fifth vinyl release including remixes from Luis Flores and Anthony Jimenez. You will find a wide range of elements ranging from experimental modular to dark atmospheres creating a nice blend of dance floor and thought provoking rhythms.

Hello listeners, blunt heads, fly ladies and prisoners..... This is the future of the music industry. Not the music, just the idea of the artists writing their own PR faffle. Next year I'll probably have to carry my own bags on tour too.......tragic. I have had a few years of working on other projects and shuffling about in loose trousers, but now I feel the time has come to release some more music for feet and floors. What I should say is that every time I tried to write techno/house/moonbeat in the last couple of years, everything came out as shitty tech-house.....The brain was just in an alternate mode, a mode for classical music and melody, but now it seems to have come back to techno so I here present some of its recent outpourings. It belched out Polka the first night I got back to Scotland, having left London. BabaYaga is named after a sinister-as-hell witch from a Russian story book we had as kids (check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baba_Yaga) clearly designed to traumatise young minds. My traumatised mind made this tune, so it has come full circle. Mu is slower, for lazy, emotional dancers. I hope you will enjoy them and the excellent Sons of Tiki mix of Polka that accompanies them..... Send all hate mail to Vakant, I don't read it. Alex

new great record on vakant!!!

Another essential contribution to the Studio Barnhus catalogue from the unstoppable force that is Baba Stiltz. These ultramodern dance pop anthems see young Baba utilizing his own voice in a more direct and heartfelt manner than on any of his previous Barnhus recordings, as well as dusting off the old acoustic guitar. Much more to come, until then: let's make this last, don't move too fast make it for real, know how you feel let's make this last, don't move too fast let's make this real, know how you feel ———————- don't move too fast make it real, know how I feel

Vinyl Box-Set limited to 500 copies + includes the Compilation on CD

Cocoon Recordings presents: P! Who would have thought of this at the beginning of this compilation series It's letter P everybody, which means this is one of the longest running techno compilation series around! Loaded with power and purity the latest edition of our series offers you a great selection of freaking crazy and kicking techno tunes. Our last compilations followed the basic concept of good club nights with an introduction part, the peak time and some cool downs and even after hour sounds. In contrast to this we open the clubdoor with P right from the start, no time for easy chit chat and soft entries - we want to move our feet and heads right from the beginning and here we are: Mirko Loko is in control for the beginning. His track Artificiel' is energetic, crazy and minimalistic at the same time. With destroyed digital sound fragments, yet consistently demanding, Mirko Loko opens the door and welcomes you to the club of P! Wouter de Moor follows with his Tesla Coil' - a speedy acid tune that has only one message: Freak out! With the pace, the simple structure and those crazy hihats - Tesla Coil' sounds almost like an old steam locomotive. The sounds hiss and the beat rolls and the clubtrain won't stop! Einzelkind & Robin Scholz present their Rhythm Factory' project next and their mutual work n.2guts . Another kickin' acid-tune, full of power with a energy loaded forward boost. Slightly slower than Wouter de Moor but certainly with a similar vibe the two tunes act as a perfect double-pack!

Almost two years ago we reissued DJ Boom 'Kinda Kickin' with an extra Efdemin remix on CURLE-P06. Because y'all loved it so much, we decided to reissue two more Matthew Herbert deep house goodies. After the very well received Linkwood remix of 'See You On Monday', it's now time for one of Herbert's biggest records; 'Deeper', from the iconic "Part Two" EP, 20 years old but still timeless! On remix duties is Basic Soul Unit, who saw his album released on Dekmantel end of last year. We knew he was good, but his remix exceeded each and any of our expectations. What a bomb!!! First 300 on marbled vinyl.

DJ Koze delivers 2 killer remixes for Mano Le Tough's track "Energy Flow", taken from his recently released longplayer "Trails".

Legowelt, as Nacho Patrol, is back on MinimalRome with the single Panter 777, already included in the limited edition tape of his LP The Maze of Violence, produced in 2008. The track is an explosion of wahwah funk riffs and juicy analog synthesizers and it comes on the B side with a powerful acid remix by Jared Wilson from Motor City. Don't miss it, it's on MRX - Patiendum Est limited series.

REPRESSED !!

Om Unit says of this release 'For me it's another milestone as a DNB fan.. Being allowed to come back to 31 again with another shadow boxing version, being one of only a tiny handful of people being allowed to remix this classic truly is an honour, let alone twice! Also working with Thing on "something ancient" was a real blessing not only because he's original and convincing with his own work but also I think he's like me, he does his own thing without adhering to too many of the insular rules that have made dnb such a closed room over the years, and so creating this cinematic piece just happened naturally and I really love the results.

The 3rd release completes a series by Tapirus aka Charlton featuring a remix by Mark Forshaw, part of the Phantom Planet Outlaws.

Umami who claim to make songs not tracks come up with their first solo EP. After collaborations with AKA AKA and Niconé and their latest remix on Shaker Plates they hoist sails and push their style one stop forward

Serving up their next techno morsel on both vinyl and digitally, !Organism turn to Bodyscrub for a hot new single that comes complete with remixes from Rocco Caine, Manic Brothers and Leghau.

Bodyscrub is an Italian who has been into electronic music since the nineties, releasing on Phobiq, Driving Forces Recordings, MB Elektronics, 1605 and many others, as well as being a regular on !Organism.

In original form, 'Insane and Trapped' is a no messing techno stomper with hard-hitting kicks, big rattling chords and lots of tumultuous synth action that adds texture and tension to the track. It's a peak time, floor-slaying monster that will blow heads clean off and comes with three great remixes.

German electro and techno talent Rocco Caine goes first. The four-deck wizard chops the track up into something much more broken beat and lumpy. It rocks back and forth with spooky ambiance far off in the distance. Eventually some heavyweight dub techno chords join the party and add yet more depth and scale to the already arresting track.

Next up, Mats and Niclas Ljusberg—together known as Sweden's Manic Brothers—have seen their driving, house-tinged techno productions on Drumcode, Soma and Sleaze wind up on the hard drives of DJs like Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Sven Väth and Nicole Moudaber. They only arrived in 2012 but on the evidence of this spritely, future sounding remix have lots to offer. It's an engaging affair with a moody atmosphere pervading a stripped back and serious groove.

Finally, Frenchman Leghau of respected labels like Trapez, Analytictrail and Len Faki's imprint, Figure, then offers his version. It's a deep, rolling and hypnotic affair that gets into your brain and stays there for the duration.

Once again here !Organism are leading the techno world from the very front.

On the back of the recent bpltd005 from Rumah & Progression, we present another hand stamped white label release courtesy of R&B...

Finally repressed

Next up on Shipwrec is Umwelt, an accomplished electronic musician who used to release on New York electro label Satamile as well as the likes of Kommando 6, and his own labels New Flesh and Fundata. Hailing from Lyon in France, the artwork with this release comes from fellow Lyon artist Timoth

On Scissor and Thread's fourth release of 2016, newcomer Villete takes a turn in the spotlight on their deep house stunner, 'Girl Next Door'. The A-side opens with the swelling pads and earnest hi-hat of Dreams". A distant voice declares everyone is devoted to their emotion, it's me and my imagination' before a springy bass line drops in, ushering in the mantra never be afraid to dream". A brassy synth further envelops the listener into the track's warm embrace as layers of percussion skitter in and out of focus. September' takes a turn for the cerebral with its' skipping hi-hats and airy pads. A springy bass line is accompanied by celestial synths that envelop the senses, making this psychedelic cut primed for after hours devastation. Villete goes even more cerebral on their introspective title cut, dialing back on the BPM, but keeping the energy high. A hushed bass and thudding kick take the backseat, allowing the hypnotizing, submerged pads and swirling, reverbed synths to take center stage, transporting dancers into eye-closed euphoria. The EP closes with the murky drum tones of Rillia". Droning pads, delicate claps, and a shy, skittering shaker keep things bubbling and light above the track's thicker than molasses kicks. Deep house maestro Darand Land takes his turn on the aforementioned track, lifting it out of the murk and straight up to the heavens and drenching it in his sun-kissed, euphoric style.

Kmyle is a total new comer who's arriving for his first release on skryptom 24 with a huge techno masterpiece. This is a combination of emotional and powerfull techno, 3 huge tracks who give us a large panel of Kmyle possibilities. Huge futur is promised to him, don't miss it. To push farer this great moment of techno, SECLUDED remix the track philar in the best way we could expect, enjoy ! ...

Noho Records is an homemade party, a weekly moment to share soul, funky and
disco vibes.
Riviera Studios is the place where all the jams are recorded directly on tape to
catch the magic of the moment.
The tentacles of the legendary Dj Octopus take kindly part on 'Funky Hands'.

repressed !!

In a short time, North Londoner Randomer has built up a small but heavy hitting catalogue of work - releasing 'Brunk' (on Hessle Audio's 116 & Rising compilation), the acid tinged 'Obtuse' and most recently his dance mania-on-steroids EP for Numbers, 'Real Talk'.' His debut for Hemlock Recordings see's him taking things even further back to basics, dropping two heavyweight trax of pure beats and bassline indulgence. a. Scruff Box's beats roll heavy but with a crafty, garage skip in their step, giving no clues to the obese bass riff that soon rudely exposes itself, tearing through the track roll by roll. aa. Get Yourself Together More of those trademark, overweight beats with one giant, elasticated bassline. For those who like them large and lovely.

knarzig rockig gut!!!

Despite the fact Moon Harbour is celebrating 15 years in action this summer, they still have
plenty of time for new music. Next up is label regular Sable Sheep with three brand new cuts
that all continue in his fine tradition of serving up surefire dancefloor bombs.

Before now, Sable Sheep has served up memorable moments like 'Upon Burning Skies' on this
label, as well as others on Desolat and Be As One. As such he now has a large fan base
around the world and both DJs and dancers love his always evolving output in equal measure.

Up first here is the title track, 'Butterflies Drowning', a playful affair that packs a lot in: off a bed
of rubbery, bouncy drums, lots of jangling melodies, glassy tinkles and feel good piano chords
all dance a summery dance. It's a real hands in the air tune, for sure.

'Kushhh' is a much more forceful and physical tune, with raved-up stabs, siren sounds and
bulky drums banging out a pattern. It's one for the peak of the night and is sure to inject tons of
energy into any party.

Lastly, the excellent 'Grim' is a deep, bubbly offering for backroom basement parties This
irresistible groove stays low, with thick, gloopy synths and subtle hi hats rippling along at an
inviting pace.

This EP proves Sable Sheep has a lot of variation in his arsenal, and for that reason is one of
his best offerings yet.

After amazing releases on Moan, Serkal, Zoo Lab and his own Innocent Music, Aney F. lands on Cellaa Music with a smashing EP titled New System'.

All tracks are designed to cause maximum damage on the dancefloor that is set to take the world by storm.

He blend warm house flavours with sharp techno beats and creating harmonic coherence from elements that seem to be contrary. 4 killer dance floor workouts, big enough for the main rooms, groovy for the back rooms which let's everybody start dancing - anytime, anywhere!

It's for sure that you have to take this trip through sound - better now than later.

Having just released a chart topping EP on vinyl only imprint UWAGA, in collaboration with label owner Martin Dacar, Valencian born Bolumar is back with an exquisite four track composition on London based Act Natural Records.

Poise EP is indeed an elegant, balanced release, showcasing Bolumar's excellent production skills and his ability to morph minimal elements into full, expressive and exciting tunes.

The EP begins with Poise', featuring talented Thomas Gandey, who has released on labels like Planet E and Rekids. The tune has an infectious rhythm with groovy samples, a great minimal track which showcases both Thomas and Bolumar's great knowledge and intuition when it comes to composing, as the synths and vocals blend perfectly together and the percussion leads the way.

The second track, Sabeth Swing', follows seamlessly and keeps the delayed synths which will be present throughout the EP, offering a certain kind of spacey feel as the analog and tech sounds alternate.

Side B changes the pace to a faster rhythm, as "EvoO 000" unfolds with its titillating vocals and funky synths, only to slow again with Es Vedra Sunset', a beautiful atmospheric track which perfectly concludes the whole EP, containing all the elements which set Poise EP apart - its artful blend of differing samples and synths married with the deep and immersive layers exploring the minimal, analog side of electronic music.

The release has already gained support from Rekids' label boss Radioslave and Nils Weimann (Subtil Records)

True veterans of the dance movement are featured in the 23rd release of Jeudi Records. D-Nox & Beckers have proven uncountable times their special dedication and skills to our genre since more than a decade now. As a duo, solo or involved in projects e.g. as Frankey & Sandrino with their uberhit Acamar. Needless to say we are proud they've accepted our invitation to join the JEUDI family. Their outstanding track Serenade was hitting our hearts from the frst listen. JEUDI co-boss Doctor Dru is delivering the to the point' remix for this single tracker. Both tracks were highly demanded and caused massive reactions on the foors when tested by the crew.

French producer Julian M joins the Decay Records roster with his 'Reveal Way' EP this June featuring remixes from fellow Parisians DJ W!ld and Chris Carrier. Growing up in the heart of the capital, Julien Marciano started producing in 2010 and has appeared on the likes of Chronovision Records, Denote Records, Homecoming Music and DJ W!ld's Catwash Records. As a DJ he has fast become aa staple in his city's underground scene, regularly performing at the likes of YoYo, Fleche D'Or, Le Quai, Gibus Club, La Centrale and Cirque Bonheur when not trotting the globe to spin in the UK, Italy, Belgium, Israel and Romania - not to mention Barcelona's Sonar Festival. Julian M's 'Butter River' is a dusky production led by firm kicks and a sultry bassline whilst an abstract vox and ghostly atmospherics resound throughout. 'Tu Reviendra' then maintains the sullen tones of its predecessor, however injects plenty of energy with the use of intricate percussion, spectral keys and vigorous build-ups. First up on remix duties DJ W!ld mutates 'Butter River' into a shadowy number that continuously evolves with the aid of a syncopated rhythm and oscillating synth. Chris Carrier's rendition of 'Tu Reviendra' then delivers a heady groove complete with a dour hook and sharp stabs to conclude the release.

KOLDE is a side project from a wellknown artist who wants to push anonymous, a new techno experience without limit, this release is a proposal of 3 underground techno weapons...

Leao is the house alterego of Deep/Tech producer Robot Needs Oil and he's now in our Metropolitan's crew! After the global success of their first EP of 2016, 'On', including remixes by Techno legend Paco Osuna and Chloé, Monkey Safari is the name on everyone's lips, and summer lineups. Now they're out with their follow-up EP entitled 'Bernstein' with two original tracks and remixes by none other than John Digweed & Nick Muir as well as Spanish DJ and producer UNER. This release showcases the German brothers' darker side, combining deep trance-like rhythms with resonant sounds. At the same time, the release pulls you in with dreamy, head-in-the-clouds melodies, perfect for both sunrise and deep club sets alike. This release demonstrates Sven and Lars' move into the limitless domain of the experimental' since the launch of their new label 'Hommage.' As their career grows and transforms, it becomes more and more clear that they have found a medium in which to display their differing genre preferences and production styles. Monkey Safari is demanding the attention of industry heavyweights as evident by their 2015 collaborations with artists like Guy Gerber, Kölsch, Marc Houle, Wolf + Lamb, Josh Wink, as well as one of dance music's most iconic producers, Moby. In 2016 the evidence of Monkey Safari's growing allure is made clear by the two otherworldly remixes released on the 'Bernstein' EP. John Digweed & Nick Muir's remix of 'Plexus,' brings in a more soulful, synthy take on the original.
