The ever on point Citrus Recordings is stepping up for its 5th artist LP. after having released the debut Albums of Mindscape & Jade wich all went on for critical acclaim it's time for Citrus to get ready for its 3rd Artist Album. This time it's time for the debut album of 'Fourward'!Hailing straight from lower Austria the four men collective FOURWARD started out producing music in early 2007. The boys knew each other for quite a while and shared the love and passion for drumandbass music. For them it was always a main issue not to stick to any particular tiny subgenre only, but to develop a sound of their own. All members have different musical backgrounds which fit together perfectly and provide a great studio vibe. Days went by and the boys finished a couple of tunes properly and it wasn't long until Austrian drumandbass producer duo Body&Soul showed interest in their works. Also international artists like BBCs very own Crissy Criss began to support their music giving them airplay on his radio show. As a result of their effort FOURWARD has released quality tunes on labels like Subsonik Sound, Planet Funk and Fokuz. The year 2010 they experienced the so called 'breakthrough' with releases on NASCA Recordings and Fokuz followed by an epic 12inch for the legendary label VIRUS Recordings! The guys definitely didn't stop there and being on the road now broadened their horizon even further. Resulting in a series of tunes perfectly fitting together in this CD. Diversity and musicallity are keywords for this album. Listen from Low Blow to You and Me, quality drum 'n bass!!

DRUM & BASS BIZNESS FROM INTENSE

Brazil has turned out some of the world's greatest D&B ever since DJ Marky was discovered by Bryan G and his V Recordings camp. From Marky XRS and Patife to one of Brazil's other great D&B talents, BTK, you know that you're always getting quality music with something special injected into it. Drawing from his love of Metalheadz and classic drum & bass, BTK lends 'Things I Do' a nostalgic feel that's undoubtedly going to get dancefloors fired up, but has a refinement and class that comes with maturity. Shogun warriors Spectrasoul step up for remix duty on the flip, taking BTK's original and smoothing it out to its very barest elements. It's a mystery how Spectrasoul manage to make a few minimal parts fit and move together effortlessly, but this remix is further proof that they're on top of their game. This is the first release of many from the brand new Swiss label Demand Records. To throw in a junglist cliche - don't sleep!Support from DJ Lee, John B, Simon Bassline Smith, Nicky Blackmarket, Flight, Storm, to name a few..

rough intelligent breakazzz!!

Ltd. Edition incl. Marcus Intalex "21 Mix"

Here we present a mighty talented D & B export from Holland in the form of Nymfo; His tracks can be frequently heard in drum and sets almost everywhere from everyone and we're sure that the featured A side 'Recollection' that he presents for us as at Dispatch as his debut release on the label will be no exception! The other track making up this release is just just as devastating as the A side 'Desert Heat' which has been written by Dispatch artist Cern & Nymfo together provides the kind of intro that might give a false sense of safety; that is before it drops and releases some solid heavy hitting drum work and some pure internal organ shaking low end sub.A mass of support on this release from the A-list gang such as; Alix Perez, Icicle, London Elektricity, Ulterior Motive, Ant TC1, Total Science, Survival, Fierce, Spectrasoul, Hybris, Skeptical, Vicious Circle, Universal Project, Stray, Anile, Octane & DLR, EBK, State of Mind, Judda & Krakota.

It's clear to see that the first half of 2011 has been an amazing one for Demand Records. With their first release jumping straight into the Beatport charts at #1, the second seeing Nymfo's first ever remix and with the ink still drying on the license request for Demand's third release to appear on the latest compilation CD from UKF, it's clear that this label has achieved more than most start-ups. So it's no real surprise that the fourth outing from the Swiss-owned imprint is something special too. Here we see Cause 4 Concern member and highly accomplished solo producer, Optiv, team up with Renegade Hardware's BTK to craft two incredible drum & bass tracks with a completely unique feel. 'Crawler' features Presence Known on the beats who helps Optiv & BTK to craft a tribal drum-led slice of D&B with expertly placed sound FX and atmospheric touches. This is like a modern twist on the classic Virus sound, flexing delicate and understated beats with winding mid range synths and deep sub-bass. Impeccable!Backing it up is 'Music Within' featuring Podage & LaMeduza. Building slowly and gradually with powerful vocals, once again we're treated to an education in the art of subtle drum & bass. If you're looking for rinsed out amens and heavily distorted reese basslines then turn your attentions elsewhere, because this track is as beautiful as it is elegant. It won't be turning any raves upside down, but that's not really the point of good music, is it

East meets West as Revolution returns for our 22nd release. In the red corner straight out of Russia we're pleased to welcome Enei and Eastcolors to the Revolution army. These artists now need little introduction after massive singles on Hospital and Critical. 'Home' is one of those rare tracks that manages to combine the sublime with the grime. Full of influences from several corners of the musical spectrum, this is everything dnb should be about: originality, dancefloor effect & depth. Stepping up on the flip, enters London's EBK. Another artist Revolution are very pleased to have on board their roster. His trademark razor sharp production skills are in full effect on 'Hybrid'. A no holds barred track that hooks us in from the first few bars. Haunting atmospheres and a thunderous b-line set the tone, as a multitude of layers weave their way in and out of the mix.

Here we have another slamming dubstep lick from TMS which features Jagga on vocals. We're vibin this tune and when you flip it over you'll be treated to a 175 remix from ShockOne who is on fire right now.

Love switching gears to Neuro funk madness with this uplifiting rework.. Emotional piece of music, with lush vocals and dreamy soundscapes heavily layered with BIG Basslines and banging beats! One-sided limited vinyl release..

Drum and bass is a worldwide thing and Celsius keeps on delivering good music no mather where it was made. BULB straight from Vladimir Russia teaming up with Germany's most hyped mc FAVA. Nice spaced out intro with vocals from the FAVA leading way to the rolling sounds of a melodic-bomb. Keep an eye on this man. He is already getting noticed with his latest outing appearing in Markus Intalex Soulution Radio and Microfunk podcast. His 'Distinctions of the same' tune with Tiiu vocals, appeared in Hospital June Democast and in 2011 it was released on Med School's 'New Blood 011 compilation. For the flip we have Command Strange straight from Kazakhstan! We all know his very impressive debut album 'Soul Booster' still available from FOKUZ recordings. This tune is called EMOTIONS and emotional it is. Get your napkins out for this melody will move you.

CD 2: THE PALETTE

Alaska returns from The Mesozoic Era wilderness and drops the 6th 12' on the ambient-jungle label Arctic Music. Boreal kicks off in true Alaska fashion with vocal loops, deep bass subs, ambient horns and layers of swirling pads sending Boreal into ambient bliss, but it's the breaks that turn the track on its head with it's crunchy and heavy patterns that keep the head nodding and feet shuffling.Isochime see's Alaska return to his early Good Looking Records roots with it's mesmerising pad swirls and guitar riffs. Sine wave bass notes take care of the bottom end and just when you think everything is relaxed along comes a powerful compressed Amen break thundering like a tornado that destroys anything in it's path. The unmistakable sound of Isochime. Timeless ambient-jungle from Alaska.

Heist as always is keeping himself busy. Working with Goldie, releasing with the Playaz camp and of course helping run the Co Lab, Calypso and Sumo imprints with business partner Ben. This is his first release with the V Recordings camp and it's a sick little number that has gone straight to the dizzy heights of the Philly Blunt label. DJ support from Bryan G, JJ Frost, DJ Die, Danny Byrd, Artificial Intelligence, Krust, Serum, Logistics and Nu:tone.
