Heist has been on one recently and this release on Mampi's Charge Records is a big one. 'The Verdict' and 'Underworld' are heavily inspired by some of Mampi's older works on the label and both of these have been getting rinsed by all the big guns. Watch out for more on this label as Mampi as been a busy boy as late.

Following the release of his acclaimed 'Words And Pictures' album on Hospital Records, Nu:Tone delivers an innovative high-energy drum & bass rework that has already picked up plays on Andi Durrant's Capital Radio show and racked up 200,000 views on the showpiece dubstep/d&b YouTube channel - UKF. DJ support comes from London Elektricity, Cyantific, Simon Bassline Smith and more. Pressed on Silver Vinyl. ASC returns to Samurai Red Seal to follow his prevous release 'Machines' / 'Bleep Test' (Redseal006). One of the most interesting artists left operating in Drum and Bass, James Clements again re writes the script for 170 BPM production with 'Brainscan'. A sizzling slice of potent sonic futurism that cuts through systems like a focused lazer beam with a trail of bulging sub bass. 'Zone One' marries classic Krust and Photek tinges with a stuttering menace that could only come from ASC. Both sides have been firm favourites with the scenes leading forward thinking DJ's including Doc Scott, dBridge, Loxy, Spectrasoul, Consequence, Kasra, Black Sun Empire, Triad and many more..

Started in 2005 as collaboration with a friend, Terrain records had releases from Manchester artists S.N.O & Omen, with remixes from a young Skream, and N-Type. The label lay dormant for 5 years, but for 2011 N-Type has decided to relaunch the label, focusing on 140bpm jungle & hardcore influenced dubstep. For the 3rd release on the label, N-type presents two young artists with a love for the oldskool hardcore junglist sound Benton and ARC 88. A side 'Having Fun' by Benton is reminiscent of early Jungle, with rolling amen breaks, thunderous Reece bassline, and classic pitched up female vocals. This tune has been a staple in N-types dubplate collection AA Side '2 Many' by ARC 88 is a dancehall killah! 140bpm jungle rinser, featuring ragga vocals and a euphoric breakdown. Featured on the new Wheel & Deal Records album mix by DJ N-Type, this track is a standard reload. Both tracks are currently being battered by N-Type, Skream, Dismantle, Walsh, Bluesy, Chefal and Cluekid to name a few.

With an interest sparked at a young age by the 'liquid' sounds d & b and artists such as Calibre, Marky, XRS and Artificial Intelligence, Diamond EyE starts his quest within the scene. His output via MJAZZ has included 'Temple Dub' on the Modernists 2 LP, a stunning take on Justice's classic 'Aquisse' and a remix of 'Sand delay' for Justice/Metro 839 LP. Fast forward and we find the 23 year old North Londoner making a sophisticated, mature music which far out ways his years, the culmination of which makes up his debut LP ' Moments in life'. Album sampler from the Ill Skillz debut album 'Nectar & Ambrosia', forthcoming end of June. An amalgamation of Drum n Bass, Dubstep, Techno and, yes of course, Trance.... produced by the mighty D Kay and long time studio partner Rawful. The album features the one and only Dub FX on vocals, alongside thunderous bass and raw drum breaks. Works both as song and dancefloor smasher! Flip for a deep melodic workout with a nice orchestral mid section.

Sampler feat two tracks from the CD and a vinyl only track, Gang Colours 'Disco Nose'.

For its third vinyl release, IM:Ltd , the French based label, is proud to bring you the first 12inch from homegrown artist Mortem.

The very first 12" release on NICE UP! to mark the 10th release of the label (NICEUP006 was a pair of trainers, how very Tony Wilson!) and the very first drum and bass release on the label. Fresh from rocking crowds around Belgium, as well as festivals and clubs across the whole of Europe, Turntable Dubbers (aka Timaxx & Drezz) step it up a gear with these 2 blistering DnB workouts. First up, a classic reggae cut gets amped up to breakneck speed with a little help from a Hospital Records superstar who wishes to remain unknown.

Over on the flip, Lindy Layton and Prezident Brown get together on top of a beefed up Bubbler Riddim, with enough drops to get all rudeboys and rudegirls hands in the air. Already getting props from Digital Soundboy's Benny Page amongst others, these are sure to be heard on dancefloors and in fields this summer and beyond.

One the A side you will find Optic Nerve by Current Value and Cooh. They both have been pushing electronic music genres to its limits of perfect sound and pure dancefloor destruction all the way.

An experimental remix with deep basslines, atmospheric reece and as usual outstanding drum editing by Current Value, again a masterpiece from this genius, high quality tune for the crowds all over the world. Be sure you won't forget this track after hearing it in the club!

Those of you who've been around for a while will remember D.Kay & Rawfulls Illkillz alias. Their early tunes married cheeky trance riffs with grimy drum & bass sensibilities to devastating effect. 2010 sees them gear up for an album release and what better way to do that then by updating their sound for a deep and dark feel~ Hospital Records' Logistics comes along for the ride on Gridline a riotous effort that brings together immense techno sounds with grizzled bass notes and rolling drums. 'They Could Love' on the AA keeps things deep and dark, but delves even further into esoteric territory. We can't wait for the album. (Words ATM Magazine May /June 2010).

Released as a 2 X 12' with the full length 11 track CD Album shrink-wrapped. The Vinyl features 4 brand new remixess from the album. This album represents the peak so far of the lads technical skills, its carefully produced from start to finish. Tracks are frequently tied together, and a lot of thought has gone into the flow of the album. This is one that can be listened too from beginning to end, as opposed to a collection of singles. However that doesn't mean that State of Mind have forgotten about the 3am raver. Almost all of the tracks have all been smashing it up world wide over the last 6 months in their own right.Collaboration wise, the album features several of NZ's most talented vocalists including Shapeshifter's P.Digsss, Thomas Oliver, Sacha Vee, Mc Woody & PNC, as well as American singer 3pm. The only production collaborators are Nymfo and DNME. Several other collaborations were planned for the LP, but in the end were unable to fit. These will be released as bonus tracks.

Absys presents the long-awaited album from the Russian duo of Getz & Nuage - 'Anywhere Here'. Both producers have been actively involved - as a duo, as well as solo - on drum & bass scene for some time and become known as not only prolific and versatile, but most of all, musically sensitive which gained them quite an acclaim among the deeper and softer d'n'b listeners.

MASSIVE BALME REMIXES OF THE CLASSIC BREAK FOR LOVE.
