Beats Vinyl New Releases - News

A serious contender for this year's Filth Factor is Sanchez's fourth release, our greasy friend invited Counterstrike back and they gladly obliged, bashing out a force 10 slammer called 'Drone'. This rock solid filth smacks you hard in the face yet bounces more than Shakira's backside perfect for grinding on the dancefloor. On the flip, the one and only Axiom, delivers one of his trademark slices of nerofunk with 'Clairvoyance'. Claustrophobic sounds capes, razor sharp rhythms & bone shattering basslines make this tune an essential buy for any self respecting bass fiend. Sanchez says ''The low end on this track has loosened my bowels several times, dance near a toilet puto!

In 2003 D Minds released the dancefloor killer, T-10 on the prestigious Kaos Recordings label. Having gone back in on the production 7 years later and inviting a host of other esteemed artists to join them for remixes on this project, this smasher has been reshaped and dispatched for the current musical climate we find ourselves in. The true testament of a production is its ability to stand time, and the T-10 remix project has certainly dictated that this tune will be streaming out of soundsystems for some time to come yet!

Award winning DJ Sly teams up with long time buddy Pacso to churn out some tearing slices of up to date drum and bass on Micky Finn's 'Finn People' imprint. 'Its U Again' slaps you in the chest with clattering hits and gritty bass. 'Warm Dem' does much the same but has a catchy reggae hook on the intro! Get on this!

Unlucky for some number 13, but not on this techy imprint... as they bring the talents of 'halluncinator' who has an uncompromising style similar to the freak recs sound..
Both tunes are causing damage in the parties, with their hard hitting beats and pounding bass drones.

KG is back on Industry Standard for the first time since he helped launch the label with 'Lost and Angry'. This time he drops 'Counter Attack', aggressive, strong and ultimately a power track. Dirty Fingers unleashes his 'Magic' on the flip side, a first outing on Industry Standard following a slew of releases through Twisted Individual's Grid camp.

Majistrate steps up once again on Logan D's label Low Down Deep to hit us in the face with some disgraceful bass! When it comes to jump up not many people do it better and this is no exception. 'Plank Bass' with its punchy bass and tight breaks just annihilates the dance and on the flip 'Spiral' does exactly the same. Anyone for a dance~

Modified Motion hits the shelves with Faction again for this release on Dynamic Audio. Together they are jump ups favourite collaboration, penning hits such as '1 Up' and 'Magic Man'. With 'A New World' and 'System' you get served up just what you want, quality and dance-floor strength.

Fresh from his massive release on DJ Die's Clear Skyz label, S.P.Y rocks up on Traffic to drop a polished twelve that bristles with thinly veiled menace. Stuttering breaks, high tension pads and bursts of static introduce 'Out Of The Blue', before unleashing the distorto drums and 20,000 volt bassline, laced with echoing laser stabs, and snatches of oldskool mentasm. On the flip, 'Eclipse' starts out innocuously enough, clouds of sound swirling about the springy drums, with dashes of dark rave flavour hinting at what's to come, a snarling, wild animal midrange that prowls menacingly across the dark landscape.

Sensai is one of the hottest new producers to emerge into the Dnb scene for some time. Already noted as one to watch this year by Zane Lowe and Grooverider (currently playing 5 Sensai tracks in his set) from BBC Radio 1 the future looks bright for Sensai. This is his debut release on Foundation Music and is the first of many tracks to be released by him on this label this year.

After making his first Viper appearance on our massive 'Acts of Mad Men' LP at the backend of 2009 with the futuristic funk of 'Under the Moon', Smooth makes his full single debut on sister label Viper V.I.P. and what an inception it is with two cuts of the highest order.

Sensai and Heist and Dr Dub smashed the place up with an inimitable mash up of heavy hitting beats and bass on the last Calypso Muzak 12'', and here we have Steppa and Kitcha to bring the pace up even further. 'Belly' is no nonsense drum & bass, filthy, aggressive, but most of all fantastic dancefloor fun. Opening with simple hi hats and a cheeky sample, it's not long before the drop heralds utter devastation. Meanwhile, over on the flip side, 'Jaws' takes things up a notch further. Pure energy seeps from every pore as Steppa and Kitcha smash the living shizzle out of it with grinding bass and face pounding drums.

'241' has been absolutely battered for a few months now and ever Dj on the circuit has been behind it, saying that though, 'Big Business' has also been smashing up dances around the world so need I say more! If you didn't know already this is Dj Hazard's label so expect pure filth

Serum steps up to bat with a heavyweight remix that lands a homerun! This is a deadly dancefloor smasher with soundclash samples, amen breaks and a cool and deadly 4/4 pattern. On the flip get ready for a deeper dubwise journey, studio one style, with France's ragga jungle ambassador 'Stalefish'. Updating a real roots skanker, he manages to keep this one simple but still extremely effective.

Zodiac is back with two more heavy hitters, '1200 Miles' and the VIP of 'Stimulation' have both been getting top level DJ attention across the DnB scene. This is the 8th release on the Alpha imprint, Modified Motions sister label to Dynamic Audio.

Zodiac steps up again on Dreadnought to release two absolute bangers. 'Zirus' and 'It's All' will make you spill your drink as you skank out looking like an absolute lunatic. Get off your downloading arse and go buy this 12''

TWO HEAVY DRUM AND BASS CUTS FROM THE MINDSAW GANG, THESE GUYS SMASHING IT AT THE MOMENT WITH THEIR UBER-GLITCHY SOUND!!

sorry, never released !!!
Blame is a great D&B producer, and this remix shows it. Remixing such big names as David Guetta is no small feat.
This could be a top seller this summer.

Krakota & Judda are two names to watch. A side Solid Shout' was Fabio's rewind track last week. Crisp beats and nasty basslines deliver the bassface everytime. Callow on the flip is heavy grimey badness. Dark funk from the south coast.
