Boiled Wonderland Records welcomes Chalo to the label with
four tracks of forward thinking and beat driven dance music.
On the A-Side, ‘Trickster’ sees the Thai producer, and live
performer kick things off with big broken basslines and
cracking breaks §ying dynamically throughout. The title track
‘Lucid’, A2, takes the tempo even faster at 136 BPM and sets
a §oating sensation in motion as long dreamy chords and
sizzling snares wash over the music. The B side commences
with the EP’s biggest track, ‘Mirage’, lashing crisp hats and
acid basslines which roll thunderously through towards the
¦nal climax. B2 brings in Remotif, a Bristol based producer,
with a Jungle remix of Lucid. Remotif, who runs the ‘Familiar
Strangers Label’ has had a string of well received releases
over the past 2 years and holds nothing back on the remix -
bringing a UK jungle hammer to Lucid. Chalos’ lucid is a
superbly quality record, as a full time mastering engineer at
ResurrRec vinyl and his own Resistance Mastering, Chalo
knows how to craft a quality sound and this release will
cement his place amongst the latest homegrown Thai talent.

Scissor & Thread ramp up the heat with the debut release by Virginia's deep house don, DJ Aakmael. Known for his infectious grooves and deep and intricate instrumentation for more than two decades, this four track EP is in no short supply of teased out, peak time, classic deep house. The titular track wastes no time on the A-side with its hard hitting kick and springy bass holding court, while a hypnotic serpentine synth snakes along. The A2, What Iz Deep House, is a lesson for those who don't know what true deep house is. Woozy, edgy chords take the spotlight as a dissociated voice slurs, "what is deep house" A relentlessly thick kick, along with sharp as razors hi-hats and snaps, throttle the track into peak time territory. On the flip, Sands is an aquatic affair, with its reverb laden pads and piano chord stabs submerging the floor in pelagic atmosphere. The persistent, euphoric bassline bump effortlessly slides its hooks into the listeners ears before a celestial piano melody pierces through the depths. Frank & Tony take things even deeper with their late night Breakaway Dub, applying their signature bass line touch and hi-hat shuffle in what may be their best remix to date.

Music Is Love is back with its 8th EP, this time coming from label boss Oli Furness with a remix from U Know The Drill. Furness is the Manchester based producer who, in the last couple of years, has established himself as a very real voice in the global house conversation thanks to EPs on labels like the legendary Nervous, Morris Audio and Skylax.

Following releases from artist like New Jack City, Liam Geddes and Mikki Funk, this EP offers four more firing house tracks that once again prove this label knows its business. 'Hunger' is a bulky, macho house jam with hardcore kick drums, ravey bassline stabs and crisp hi hats that drive the thing along. It's expertly produced for maximum dancefloor damage before 'Overjack' comes good with a killer bassline and reverse stabs.

Baring plenty of classic hallmarks but without ever sounding tired, this raved-up house bomb kicks and squeals, ducks and dives with a great sense of energy that it is impossible to ignore. The same track gets a firing remix from Dutch duo and Slap Funk Records alumni You Know The Drill. This fun loving pair layer in even more ravey stabs, smooth out the groove and have it to bang like a heavyweight boxer for six sweaty minutes.

Finally, 'Creepin in the Shadows' again nails a heavy dancefloor groove and is sure to prove an essential weapon for discerning house DJs. Lively, rubbery drums, shuffling hi hats and attitude laced vocals make for a sweaty, bulky workout that the likes of DJ Sneak will surely lap up.

Across all four tracks Oli Furness lays out his muscular house vision and does so so convincingly that dance floors will not be able to resist his offerings.

Moodyman’s KDJ Records back in 2002, got “revised” by Ricardo Miranda shows off perfectly the emotional substance of Miller’s deep vocal house interpretation with silky percussive lines in between.B1 - Headspace is the pure example of a perfect B-side cut. Slow-burning rhythm filled with organic perc stabs and dense but deep bassline, Miller again in a genius way intertwines slow emotional story backed by almost raw harmonics but nevertheless well explained Detroit vibe.
B2 - After The Rain, which can be heard on Alton’s “Souls Like Mine” album released on the forementioned The Music Institute as a bonus cut. It’s a slow dance between reemerging bassline and subtle synth lines flowing on offset claps and smooth background bongos. pretty timeless stuff if the atmosphere is dimmed right.

House music veteran Junior Sanchez makes a long-awaited debut on Crosstown Rebels this May with the Divergent EP. The four-track release sees Junior team up with fellow world-renowned house producer Todd Terry on the lead record.

Live Forever leads the charge. It’s a symbolic collaboration that sees the legendary Todd Terry provide all vocals on the track. After Love comes next. It’s a truly euphoric offering, as upbeat piano rolls blend into shimmering kick-hat combos.

On the flipside My Mind Goes takes on a more rugged edge, reverberating vocals create a hypnotic feel throughout, whilst four-four drum patterns drive on in the background. Body Heat rounds off proceedings, thick bass drums accompany tough snare solos to create an “early ‘90s vibe” that sounds ripe for the late-night hours.

Junior Sanchez is a staple artist in the global electronic music scene. He is responsible for several iconic house records of the late ‘90s and early 2000s, most notably Back made with Roger Sanchez and DJ Sneak under their S-Men alias.

Geneve Based Pascal Viscardi bring his rich and sweltering textures to SAFT with his first EP for the Spanish label. The swiss producer's Paradiso EP is already the 9th installment and by no means an odd addition to the family. Strongly rooted in soulful sounds with firm aesthetics and blissful melodies, this release is exactly what SAFT is all about. From the moment the pad in the title track starts riding, Paradiso immediately hints to a deserted paradise.
Tales From The Emax (A2) is a groove laden Anthem that will soothe those that are into soulful but firm sounds. On the B side, we find remix work of both originals. Swiss house stalwart 'Agnes' stirs things up with his thriving rework of Paradiso called 'Agnes' La Charme Chambertin Mixx'. On the B2 cut we find SAFT familiar 'Jefferson Belmondo' with a cracking rework of the title track 'Paradiso' called Jefferson's Beach Mix. 4 strong, groove-laden cuts that celebrate the SAFT sound like never before.

Repress of SOBOs inaugural release, which comes from Rue Beaubien resident Project Pablo aka Patrick Holland. Montreals Beaubien Ouest can cause quite the daze in the heat of Summer, so stepping out of the bedroom into the shed made all the difference for Holland. Live-off-the- floor takes with pals Rory Seydel (on guitar) and Jeremy Dabrowski (on the bass) can be heard on the title track, whereas freaked-out Dx7 melodies and harmonies makeup Royal Plus and Closer. An homage to ones home and its dreamlike qualities, as well as a practice in call and response.

Raw Materials Records hits the 3rd release mark with a great record from Shamako, a killer 5 tracker from the italian duo ranging from peak time House heaters to deep and saxy grooves until Hip-Hop late night tales. Everything is packed with a nostalgic blend of love and devotion to the club, and the whole work is enriched by a twisted remix by the Chicago Legend Boo Williams.

2021 is being a very prolific year for Spanish label Night Shift Records with all their releases reaching the top of the sales charts. After the success of the past references by the owner of the label Javi Frias and the San Diego superstar Never Dull, now it is the turn of Solazz, founding member of the Supa Disco project born five years ago in Ibiza, which debuts at the label with an amazing four track EP titled 'Highlife Disco'. Side A includes 'Work It Out', a great rework that includes a great bass line added to the original that makes it irresistible to dance, and 'Time's Running' a groovy summer vibe track that contains high-pitch voice side-walking with a top synth bass. On the B side, 'Roller Skate INC' strikes your body with conga rhythms and a funky bass, and last but not least 'Highlife Music', a killer track of afro-disco with piano house touches, evolving synths and great sax solo that will make you dance again!

Following high profile releases on Gerd Janson's Running Back and Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant, Alan moves to his deeper side with a piano house workout which also features a remix from Kiko Navarro moving things into the main room. The release is backed up by 'Tell Me When' a modern sounding club track to be heard in places such as Berlin's Panorama Bar.

We welcome Nick Verwey aka DAWN AGAIN to the Houseworx Family. The profilic househead from Melbourne / Australia will release "TRAIN THE HOUSE DOWN" in October 2020. 4 cuts full of soul in his trademark style.

Athens based DJ/producer Dino MFU joins musical forces with vocalist Alxandra Good for their dance floor shattering single “Not True.” Kicking things off is the original mix of “Not True,” a deep, driving, and forward-thinking dance single perfectly crafted with uplifting moments punctuated by the gorgeous vocals of Alexandra Good. Following suit, dance music pioneer and legend David Morales take the remix reins with his powerful, Afro groove influence vocal remix that will leave international dance floors wanting more! Morales gives us more next with his ‘Dub’ mix of the original that takes his previous vocal mix a bit deeper and darker for those perfect late night dance floor vibes. Finally, we complete the release with Dino MFU’s instrumental mix of “Not True.”

After recent outings from the likes of Felix Leifur and Tlim Shug, Frits Wentink is back on his own Bobby Donny label. His previous releases have been solo affairs but this time he is in collaboration with Tristan Hallis aka DJ Boring.

A1 is an inventive tune with bristling drums and break beats run through with warped vocals, razor sharp hi hats and mellow pads.
t's deep but dynamic and will get you on your toes. B1 then chops up more trippy vocal samples and curious synth sounds with elastic, pinging kick drums and makes for something woozy yet groovy and full of intrigue. Last but not least, B2 channels classic deep house vibes with balmy pads, garage style percussion and more slick drum work that really brings something fresh. This is a trio of cuts that bring the best out of each producer and results in truly original music.

Kicking things off we have Hot Creations label boss Jamie Jones who storms back with yet another highly anticipated dancefloor focused release, the Illicit Behaviour EP consists of two originals and two remixes, delivering a diverse collection of tracks with a common theme for setting an infectious groove.

The title track has numerous elements progressing with hypnotic rotation, adding a deep bassline to carry the track. 'New Skool Acid' follows with a rapid assault of percussion, leaving the breakdowns to give the track it's name with funky low-pitched acid stabs, while subtle vocal stutters add extra detail.

Matthias Tanzmann of Moon Harbour takes on remix duties for 'New Skool Acid', letting the percussive elements shine with his own variation that's met with a nostalgic motif. FUSE's Seb Zito to round out the release with his jacking remix, perfect for those peak time moments at any dance.

RNT is going back to the roots of their Reserve series with Rose Cutz 2, a pack of burners and heaters from Rose Records honchos Luvless and M.ono. Each producer takes a side, delivering a little something for any time of night, from the up tempo stomp of Eins A Legge to the slow analogue pulse of File Save As. A rose by any other name...is still a banging record!

You hear the one about a German, a Scotsman, an Englishman and an Israeli walking into a Disco?… Us neither but this EP is no joke. The A side features big in the game names like Marcel Vogel and Al Kent so you know we’ve got some quality Disco lined up for you on the 9th Editz. On the flip, SB deliver their latest offering to the dancefloor gods whilst Davin Varda rounds off the EP with his anthemic rework of an Israeli disco gem.

Amidst a creative explosion of new ventures cutting across genres and forms, Gavin Lynch aka Matador releases the Cyclone Series at hurricane force. All three tracks are fast and furious, power-packed and compelling. Aptly for a noted tech-maestro, even the visual impact of the waveforms has an intriguing architecture. Detail has gone into every aspect of this release and new series, as Matador goes back to his roots, paying homage to the nascent years of his career, crate digging in Dublin’s record stores.

‘Come With Me’ builds and disperses, creating an increasing tension while the fast pace and percussive beats keep up the pressure. Hi hats and distorted chords back an offset beat, with rising sirens in the breakdowns. Each build is marked by a sudden pause and a vocal of the title, with complex percussion, twangy notes, rattling beats, and fast sharp riffs.

'Connected’ also goes for a triple whammy of builds, this time with an increasingly echoing cool, deep bass vocal riff behind assertive hi hats, hissing cymbals and clapping beats, taking off in a superfast joyride of percussion and pizzicato.

In ‘Fidgit’ a loose elasticated bass backs a metronome ticking beat before the full percussion blasts in, to take us on a switchback journey of sharp, low reverberating bass riffs, the breakdowns bringing high melodic tunes, morse-like notes, and imperious builds to further heights.

With a whole new live show in development, and his first ambient album imminent, together with his RUKUS imprint keeping the talent flowing, this year sees Matador embrace each new avenue of creativity.

... BLR’s Lyon connects Ethyène and Saint Paul unite for a split 4 tracker soundly in the tasteful disco house vein of their Moonrise Hill Material crew.

No fuss is back with their latest artist sampler EP showcasing some of the best music on the label. Taking inspiration from their early 90's rave days Saison include their signature sound of blues and jazz keys over swinging house drums with "Want You". Local Options provide the remix on "Get This" showcasing their unique Chicago mix of Techno and Deep House which was also supported by Marco Corola. Long time friend and veteran producer JT Donaldson teams up with Saison for a soulful remix of Risk Assessments "This Must Be Deep". To finish off the EP newcomer Massiande show's why his music is currently making waves with previous releases on labels like Freerange, Ibidan and Phonica.

Both regulars of the club, arts and queer scenes of New York, Berlin and London of the last three decades, it's surprising Wolfgang Tillmans and Honey Dijon only met five years ago. A walk between clubs in Brooklyn resulted in the two having a mutual interest to collaborate. Busy as both are, the wait was long, but well worth it. This week's release of Honey Dijon's Euphoria Mix of 'Can't Escape into Space' sets the tone for what is left of this summer: Our desire to be together, with friends and strangers, close up on dancefloors, festivals and open airs. Honey's and Wolfgang's shared unapologetic spirit comes alive as Dijon transforms Tillmans's original song into an electrifying dance floor banger. As we can already sense a reawakening of our freedom blowing in the air, even if many clubs remain closed, the two musicians' call to come together again is euphoric and inescapable.
The original version of the song was released last winter in the midst of lockdown, accompanied by a video showing an empty nightclub and its mirror balls performing for the camera, filmed in 2017 by Tillmans, in pre-pandemic Fire Island. A new video accompanies Honey Dijon's Euphoria mix with three vignettes of longing and passion.

Four more firing cuts of UK House & Garage from Club of Jacks back on their own imprint, once again bringing that fine fusion of 4/4 flavours.

Kicking things off on the A side is Panther Dub, a darker, sub heavy, rolling number mixing together jazzy, rave and rude boy elements for a potent cocktail. One for the UKG heads.

Mind Games mixes classic thumping, swinging drums, a driving deep bass and jazzy synths with a hooky vocal and a slamming piano line that comes in to raise hands and pulses.

Real Good sits in a space between deep house and UKG again bringing a variety of elements into a melting pot of a groove.

Closing out the EP is U GT DWN - a bumpy, trancey deep garage house vibe with lush filtered female from a classic vocal sample twisted with blissful strings.

For our 5th release we are very fortunate to have Toronto-based artist Dan Only! Dan has previously released on New Kanada, as well as back-to-back EP's on Germany's Dirt Crew Recordings! We are proud to present Dan Only's "Love Saturates EP". Leading off the EP, we have the title track "Love Saturates". Shuffling hi hats, punchy drums, a hard hitting bassline, lush pads and a vocal to die for tie this opener together. We asked one of our favourite producers, Black Loops (Madhouse/Shall not fade/Toy tonics), for a remix of the title track. Black Loops turns "Love Saturates" into a seriously deep and spacey remix that works perfectly for late night sets! Setting off the B Side we have "Leading Questions", a snare happy slice of house music stacked with Dan Only's signature drum programming and keys that don't stop! For the final cut we have "Not That I Don't Care" Rolling drums, airy pads and a haunting vocal round off this stellar EP!

Dan Shake makes a solid return to his Shake Records imprint with three tunes ready to make an impact. ‘Paper’ and ‘Bounce’ are tinged with records from Dance Mania, hip house and acid house legend Tyree Cooper, and a cheeky trance mix Dan made with Yomanda ‘Synth and Strings’ in mind, one of the last track he played out to a crowd.

‘Paper’ and ‘Bounce’ are the reflection of an artist still feeling the vibe from his last gigs, which saw Dan make a debut at Printworks, and coin one of the last live Mixmag labs before the world went into lockdown.

Dan explains - “I made these tracks in April 2020, immediately after the sudden cutoff of nightlife. My last weekend of gigs was incredible and left me with a big room, high energy mentality. I’d been listening to and playing out a lot of ghetto house and Dance Mania style records which no doubt pushed these tracks in that direction. Faster, harder and heavier than the majority of the music, ‘Paper’ and ‘Bounce’ gave me a hit of a sound I was craving and had just been immersed in. Directly inspired by an urge to be back on a dance floor, the thought of playing them out feels slightly surreal, but something that gives me tingles thinking about too.”

Did Dan know he’d sit on this music for over a year before releasing it or playing it out? Perhaps not. However, timing is key and clubs and festivals within reach, he’s waited patiently for a time he knows they’ll hit the sweet spot we’ve all been missing.

Jad & The is an Australian producer based in Berlin, where he's been putting out consistently cool and sleek dusty house on the likes of Toy Tonics and Banoffee Pies. Jad is now joining Shall Not Fade for his debut on their Seasons Series imprint, showcasing a selection of tracks that ooze space age sounds and cybernostalgia.

Space Swingerz EP feels like the soundtrack to a classic science fiction film; opening with "Dance (Can't Dance Mix)", the most house-oriented track on the record, a grooving and smooth party piece that has just a hint of the electro inflections to come. The title track itself is a swirling electro track filled with popping futuristic synths and spaced out pads, leading into "Industrial I-Beam" that swaps out the ambience for a deep funky bassline - headsy and ready for a darkened Berlin club. "Circum Navigator" is a clean-cut but hypnotic piece of nineties revival, while "OK, Computer" taps into the sci-fi edge of the EP, the sounds of early internet imaginations of the future.

Italian musician, producer and DJ, Lorenzo Morresi, returns to his newly formed SuperEclectic imprint with a brand new album 'Music For Closed Airports' that swiftly follows up on his recent successful outings on 22a and Fly By Night Music. Across the 10 tracks on the album Lorenzo combines live compositions with electronic production, taking you on an expansive journey through jazz-funk, house, electronica and Italian library music.

Brother Moomin finally back on Smallville. After some releases on his own imprint Closer and Fuck Reality, here he comes again to strike a 12 before dropping his second album A Minor Thought' in early 2016. We are very happy to present a special vinyl only track here-Moomin's version of Peven Everett's ultra-classic I Can't Believe I Loved Her' is ready to hit the floors worldwide. Don't sleep on this!

Network’s 30th Anniversary celebrations continue with the re-issue of the debut release from the iconic label. The launch of the logo with Neal Howard “Indulge” in 1990 caused a sensation, with the track being instantly acclaimed as a Classic, and Network noted as a new label to watch.

“Indulge” hails from Chicago, but sounds like its’ DNA is Techno City Detroit.
A futuristic call to dance from Windy City mystery man Neal Howard, whose previous releases “The Gathering” and “To Be Or Not To Be” had already reached cult status. Those gems, and “Indulge” were recorded by Chicago label Phuture Sound. Plans were being laid for the transformation the Kool Kat label - the UK outlet for Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May and Juan Atkins - into Network, but the dilemma was finding something “really really special” for the first release. That search for the perfect beat ended when Network’s Neil Rushton on a visit to Chicago heard the just mixed “Indulge” on a cassette played by Phuture Sound boss Terry Baldwin, who after prolonged negotiations agreed to cancel a USA release so the new UK label could have an exclusive.

The label design for this release is a replica of the original DJ Promo 12” that introduced Network to the World with exactly the same tracks; Terry Baldwin’s much loved Club House and Deep House mixes of “Indulge”, coupled with “To Be Or Not To Be” remixes by Chicago’s Bad Boy Bill and Detroit’s Derrick May. network - it is what it was...
