House Vinyl New Releases - News

Mercredi Records is back with a second release on wax. Still exploring music in its wildest lands, the collective gathers 4 tracks gambling with different genres and atmospheres. Toss up the coin, and enjoy the trip.

Known for a series of stunning releases for the likes of One Records, Earlydub and Laate, Yamen & EDA are a France-based duo whose music regularly perks the ears of some of the scene's most respected names. Their latest release arrives courtesy of their own recently launched label, Maison Mere - and is the sort of intriguing release that's sure to cement their reputation for polished grooves amongst discerning heads.

Grammy nominated producer and DJ Boys Noize made his anticipated Defected debut with ‘Mvinline’ earlier this summer, unveiling a captivating and uplifting house cut you can’t help but groove to. Now available on a special 12” package, this infectious, self-assured cut sounds better than ever on wax. A name synonymous with quality dance music, this joyous release kicks off with the original track, as the German producer explores his roots with a funk-laden, classic house beat. On the flip, the previously unreleased ‘Mvinline Svn’ strips back the familiar vocal for a more club-focussed cut. Finally, closing out the package is ‘Tomfvm’, another vinyl exclusive, laden with percussive drums and a thundering bass that shows a different side the renowned producer’s style.

the second release of montreal based veteran producer guillaume&the coutu dumonts on mule musiq. the title track featuring dave aju is uplifting jazzy vocal house.groovy dance floor killer. “astronomie” on b1 is cosmic jazz fusion deep house and “grand signal” on b2 is classical jazz house which is remind us “once again by henrik schwarz and kuniyuki”… all of tracks were originally produced by his band project and he has reproduced for more dj tool version.

A double header of delectable edits from the Bastedos camp, re-mastered for that full-frontal power by Justin Van Der Volgan.

Tried and tested secret weapons finally made available to all, 100% of any profits go to charity.

It’s deep in life’s darker times where the brightest lights shine. In the midst of moping and moaning, certified soul boy & DJ Lee Jeffries and producer song writer, Matt Early who has worked alongside the likes of Frankie Knuckles & Grant Nelson thought, like a lot of us: fuck this! They built a studio and enlisted a host of names to help collaborate on a new project.

Soon, they found themselves slipping back into their dancing shoes and creating serious magic. The boys’ new imprint, Lockdown Records, has one goal: to bring together house music’s greats from around the world to create – what they aren’t afraid to call – anthems.

Lockdown’s debut release is a right old groover from the two, featuring vocals from Will Bee. 'Love Is Growing Deeper' is a smile inducing house track bursting with soulful brilliance.

DJ Spen & Gary Hudgins, Opolopo and Ray Hurley step up for remixes on the weighty EP, giving their own unique energies.

Spen and Gary take things even deeper with a focus on that naughty rumbling bass while Opolopo gets extremely groovy with a tantalizing jam over the track.

It’s a real sign of the range of styles the label is prepared to show off, effortlessly dishing out old school grooves and pushing them into contemporary arrangements.

Prime time, peak sounds from the legendary Shelter camp on this 1994 EP of that real NYC / NJ house music!
Cassioware, Blaze and Shelter boss man Freddy Sanon are all on production and mixing duties on these movers from the golden era.
Vintage deepness is all over this one, with the sultry vocals of Sajaeda setting the mood off just right. Naturally, and in true Shelter style, we're treated to a handful of mixes and versions across the EP, and there are the obligatory fathoms deep dubs for those late night dancefloor moments. Truly essential gear from one of the foundation labels of real deep house. Reissued with OG Shelter artwork and pressed onto bright Pink wax for the collectors out there!

Saler EP oscillates between dance floor forcefulness and the daydreaming for an idealized future. The return to the original shapes in an encapsulated ambient get together in a 5-tracks EP that goes from "Bombastick" with it's centrifuged acid to the spatial funk of "Algorythm" and the smooth electro sounds of "Nitrogen". In the middle, the ecstatic voices in combination with some unique expansive ambient sounds which could easily resurface a relaxed after hour. "Cero" sends us back to a placid embryonic state thanks to the correct dose of kaleidoscopic arpeggios as umbilical cord.

Raw, trippy, and mysterious.

Kurtiss is a shadowy and enigmatic figure working on the boundaries of civilization. A sporadic figure on the House music scene with eccentric habits, Kurtiss’ music is a rarified sonic experience for those who seek it out. The Ameri-can artist is hard to pin down and his music is a tantalizing little secret only for adept diggers who appreciate the style of Hi-Def House music that the artist has cultivated. Although he’s a known Soundcloud fixture, he’s only put out a handful of digital singles as Curtis Vodka in the past, with Mutual Intentions facilitating his latest and immortalizing his music on their next set of releases. A nomadic artist, who’s worked on music ranging from Ghetto Tech to House, his music has spanned the known musical spectrum, forging uncanny relationships with everything from 50 Cent to Mall Grab. Under the pseudonym Kurtiss (or Curtis Vodka), he’s all about HIGH-Fi House, life, aliens, Jazz and no trends. It’s an attitude that he lays bare on this rare contribution to the physical, recorded format for Mutual Intentions on ‘The Curtis Vodka EP’. The EP weaves classic House music influences through a penchant for vintage sound machines and arrangements that evoke a solemn air. Elements of Gospel and New York’s deeper inclinations in House music seep through his sound as archived vocal samples and noisy machines give his work its defining character. Glistening keys and strings that slither through airy textures create dense aural experiences on ‘The Curtis Vodka EP’, calling to mind the musical masterpieces of House music’s golden era when the likes of Kerri Chandler and Mas-ters At Work were producing som

Night Defined Recordings is glad to present its first full-length album so far: erb's - A12 Proceedings'. A record made in sparse moments while living between the crooked walls of an old apartment building in Bucharest.
Hand-stamped 180g edition with riso print inlay + download code.

Yotogi' sees the light of day through Vessel records. The record itself contains three tracks and three sound skits that recreate the atmosphere in which it was produced - deep in the bowels of Osaka, Japan. A big arigatou to Shindo for allowing us to make it available, and to our friends in Japan for sharing their honest approach to house music culture.

After releasing the ‘High Life' remixes just before summer and their more electronic EP on Aus Music, it’s time to get label heads Detroit Swindle back on Heist. They come in with full force, delivering a set of Swindle styled house tracks, accompanied by a jazzy remix by Volcov in his Isoul8 moniker with guest appearances by Kaidi Tatham on keys and Nigel Bennett on vocals.

The EP kicks off with ‘The life behind things’; a life affirming soulful house tune that’s cleverly built around a set of switching organ stabs. The energy in this track keeps on building with the filter slowly opening up while live percussion oozes its way through the track (courtesy of Mauskovic Dance Band member Chris Bruining). After a well working surprise acid break, the track breaks down into a jazzy organ solo by Byron the Aquarius, building up momentum till the full track comes back in for a ecstatic delivery of feel-good dancefloor emotions.

The second original of this ep is Detroit Swindle’s view on what a party-starting piano house track should sound like with ‘Music for clubs’. This track is all about rolling drums, lush piano stabs and possibly the funkiest baseline in four-to-the-floor house music. The latter two are made possible by the quick finger work of their live show collaborator and close friend Lorenz Rhode.

The full B side goes to Volcov’s remix of “The life behind things”. He takes his inspiration from the energy of the original and chooses to set a steady groove where the lush key work of Kaidi Tatham shines both on the chords and a muscle-flexing organ solo. The vocal sample from the original is accompanied by some great ad-libs by Nigel Bennett. With these elements working together in perfect harmony, you can practically feel the good vibes these 3 friends had when recording the remix.

It’s been on our to-do list for a while to record a full-on house record, and we hope this one does the trick for you as much as it does for us.

If you’d happen to be around town during ADE this year, you can get this record a week ahead of its worldwide release exclusively at our Pop up shop on Elandsgracht 55. Apart from the record, we’ll have a limited edition collaboration collection available with Amsterdam-based streetwear brand Baskèts, loads of DJ’s playing sets and you could also just come by for a drink or two.

Yours Sincerely, Maarten & Lars.

The new label 'Different Heads' is ready to start making dance floors move across the globe with 2 mysterious tracks which are groovy and timeless. DH001 try out some fresh material under some brand new aliases.

"Night Moves" a record that needs no introduction, a manifesto of late 80's House- Classic!

Welcome to the Crystal Maze. Your host Ruf Dug is here to guide you through this mysterious landscape.

Firstly, you arrive at the 'Future Zone’. You tap the passcode into the keypad. Success! The sound of Balearic Trance awaits you. Computer code scrolls past the interface as your mental state is set to Hedonistic Bliss. A race through space is the place.

No time to ponder though, as you are bundled onto to the next stage, a humid tropical haunt they call 'Aztec Zone’. Some sort of supernatural presence tails you as reverberating wails call out from the deep. Focus, focus. Secure the crystal, flip the disc and proceed to the other side.

'Industrial Zone' quickens your heart rate. Metal sparks, machines clash and synths ping about. You feel revitalised and assured in your chances of progress. Suddenly you are transported to a dark room with what appears to be a hologram of Ruf Dug presenting you with a crystal. Do you accept? Your hand reaches out but your feet give way. Crumbs – trap door.

You land with a crunch in the concluding 'Medieval Zone’, with a pair of sandals curiously strapped to your soles. With a quick sip of mead you are beckoned by the sound of a distant chime. Cue the Crystal Dome and roll end credits. All calm. The trip has come to an end but Ruf Dug is nowhere to be seen.

What has just happened? Was it at all real? Only one way to be sure. Return to the edge of NBD009 and the journey through the Crystal Maze.

Propulsive deep house and transcendent grooves bring the revolutionary spirit of Martinique's Gratien Midonet to the fore on new Time Capsule remix EP.

For our mythical number 13 - We're bringing back the spacey minimal to our catalog. Com Sin is Cosmin TRG's alter ego for the experimental, minimal project. Although he is one of the grand figures of the techno scene, under his Com Sin alias he presents a different side of his musical inclination.

Since debuting in 2013, J.Tijn has found his corner of the electronic music world, developing a hard techno sound that is raw and unforgiving. A core member of Untold's Pennyroyal label, Jesse Tijn has also released on Overlee Assembly, Power Vacuum and Bedouin Records. For Naked Naked's eleventh release, J.Tijn gives us two versions of 'Pick Your Battles' that are ready for damage on the dance floor.
On the A side, 'Pick Your Battles V1' gives us a dark rolling rhythm being led by a crisp snare hit through a sea of machine bleeps and grinding waves of noise. An unrelenting groove which is sure to keep the floor heaving. On the flip, 'Pick Your Battles V2' hits harder with distorted kick drums, an array of hats and attacking synth bleeps. After almost imploding, the track reaches another level, taking us to peak time madness with aggressive percussion. Heads down, hands up, this is sure to bring heat wherever it goes.

"DON ́T BE CAREFUL" There are two types of being careful -
one means to take care of your environment, the people
around you - totally appropriate. The other is to hold yourself
back from your potential - motivated by fear or a lack of self
confidence - totally inappropriate. When JIMMI HENDRIK and
MARIA Die RUHE met it was immediately clear they needed to
collaborate on a piece of music. The track is their symbol for a
prolific friendship - sounding the message of total acceptance
for everything that occurs. This first release on the newly
founded label, “ONU RECORDS”, is seasoned with a big portion
of humor. It cheekily reflects beliefs about role models and
releationships. Coming with 3 remixes by JiMMi Hendrik,
FILBURT and NAPOLEAN DYNAMITE, the VINYL EP is truly a
special banger for the dancefloor. For all lovers and those who
might become them. DON ́T BE CAREFUL.

High Days is the second release from Midnight Conversation
after their 2018 debut Album. This time with a 4 tracks EP: Jazzy
chords, bumpin' beats and some outstanding vocal samples like
the ones on the B side track "So Give Me The Lead".
Soul food for your mind.

Moony Me ¡Hola! ¿Qué tal? For this lovely piece of black gold
we’d like you to meet Moony Me! The man probably doesn’t
need much of an introduction, but he took some time off the
game so we’re even happier he’s honoring us with his
comeback EP. And what a glorious one it is! When we first
heard the title we immediately thought about all the beauty
and honesty of the electronic music world…Fancy promo texts,
fake third person bios, deep’n’dark artist pics and kids
standing in the front at boiler room. In a healthy way,
“Pretentiously Unpretentious” leaves a lot of that stuff behind
(fancy promo text LOL) and instead offers a package that has
MUSIC written all over it. There’s not a single track on this
record that takes itself too seriously, you’ll always find quirky
percussions and weird synth blobs somewhere. For us here at
the rtct.records headquarters it’s all about the attitude
someone makes music with. And, I mean, would you look at
that picture on the record? It’s friggin’ adorable! It’s all in there:
family values, humor, his niece and a blue tongue. He’s got it
all! Check this record out, there are tunes on there for every
age and bpm while still staying true to the classic Moony Me
danceability. Is that even a word? We don’t care. We love it!

Nathalie Capello, Berlin based DJ/Producer's first release straight into the UQ family. A 5 tracker ranging from Soulful R&B to House to Garage, straight to the big room banger. A unique 90's infused sound !

Sascha Dive was last spotted on Bondage-Music earlier this year with the deep hypnotic pulses of ‘Dark Night’ on ‘Bondage Games 5’. So it’s fitting he returns with ‘Detroit Sunrise’ and, as sure as day follows night, it’s every bit as deep, pulsing and hypnotic as you’d expect from the Frankfurt craftsman…

His first full EP for the Leipzig label, we open with real talk. ‘Detroit Sunrise’ warms up with broad, swinging drums, rippling textures and a crucial spoken word sample every single one of us should consider. It sets the scene for two classic Dive deep adventures as both ‘Dub Chronicles #1’ and ‘Dub Chronicles #2’ both roll out with subtlety and understatement. Layered, absorbing and endless; timeless tools made for those deep mix moments of magic.

Last but not least, we end on an upbeat. ‘Ghostdancer’ takes more of a sprightly, light-footed note with an upward-spiralling arpeggiated riff, gentle ebb and flow chords and a light peppering of cosmic flurries. Ghoulishly good. Like all things by Dive and Bondage-Music. Don’t get tied down, get tied up…

Limited Coloured 180g Vinyl Reissue (250 copies vinyl only). German Label Bondage-Music return with a vinyl only Release, comprising four original compositions from Sascha Dive, Tuccillo, NTFO and James Dexter.

Rising duo Innellea deliver two remixes for Tunnelvisions' Imaja's Drum - one of the highlights of their previous released The Celestial Ritual LP. This 12' is limited to 200 copies only and on repeat in sets from Dixon. Out March 9th on Atomnation.

BLOOD ties may be absent but with friends and familiar faces on board, plus a clutch of most-welcome newcomers too, the aptly-titled latest EP from Deep Inspiration Show Records sure feels like a family affair. And with deep, jazzy, soulful, brushstrokes stretched liberally across its musical canvas, Family Things even has what is fast-becoming a trademark label ‘sound’. Malta’s master of the deep Melchior Sultana teams up with erstwhile partner Janelle Pulo for a typically-sultry number Reversed, while another duo, Jan Ketel & Siggatunez, pitch in with the slamming-yet-soulful Wanna Fly. Croatia-based collaborators Jan Kincl, Borut Cvajner and Regis Kattie channel the genius of Gil Scott-Heron for stuttering, broken beat gem Paint It Black, while that man of many talents and alter egos Dan Piu presents the joyous Larry Heard inspired A Beautiful Day. Mastered by Sven Weisemann.

Whilst club events and music festivals around the world may have come to a halt, there’s no stopping the undeniable Haŵs party taking place inside this hefty slice of wax. The Haŵs crew once again come correct with their 11th release, and the 3rd edition of their V/A volumes. Their dominant streak waxes anew with zero sign of waning, as they unleash 4 original pearlers into the outside world. Names all too familiar in the scenes they inhabit, Rudolf C, Lisene, DJ Life and Nathan Pinder combine their comprehensive skillsets for your unending pleasure.

Opening celebrations is Rudolf C’s ‘Shotta’, the type of head-nodder, dancefloor fodder that has long been associated with his name. Alien signal-like stabs persist and combine with the crunchy percussion throughout, tripping back and forth in its otherworldly paradigm.
The A2 track is ‘Time 2 Bump’ by Lisene, and if that kick drum doesn’t define ‘bump’ then we need a new sonic dictionary. Elongated acid permeates a sweeping groove, sitting atop a mechanized vocal of malicious design and destructive intent.

Up next is DJ Life with his offering, the galvanic ‘Organo’. Continuing the theme of dancefloor delirium, his track rumbles with unerring force and potency. The party is still going strong under his guidance. You’ve no choice but to latch onto the acid and move your body.

As we hit the early hours, Nathan Pinder closes proceedings with his track ‘Good Times Ahead’. The stuttering vocal and unequivocally euphoric synth hark back to the progressive trance scene of the late 90s, whilst the track’s message simultaneously looks proactively to our immediate future. Pump it loud and dream of the Haŵs parties on the horizon.

Take care and remember, freedom is a state of mind. Music will always be there for you no matter what.

Martin Georgi is not a newcomer. He is more like one of those who like to stay under the radar. The sample-based music producer made his debut in the deephouse sector on his own more than 10 years ago, completely without a label or distribution. In 2016, the Berlin record label OYE Records became aware of the hitherto unknown artist and finally re-released the tracks from his debut. Since then, his early tracks have been compared around the world with the early works of Moodyman or Theo Parrish.
After more than 10 years and the maxi “9 to 5 is killing me” (2018), a second album is finally released on the underground label quietelegance records. Stylistically it ties in with the first work. “Money from the trunk” is the title of the new album and it includes socially critical issues such as class differences that are created by capital. Georgi plays with a large portion of irony and of course plenty of samples, which the passionate record digger skillfully processed into eight new songs.
Georgi not only stands out from the conforming deep-house crowd with his raw, unconventional production style, but also ensures that old-school sampling continues to have its place in current club music. In doing so, he reacts to global music trends, which he incorporates into his tracks through the finest sample operations. So it is not surprising that his new album “Money from the trunk” has a rap song as title song, for which the renown artistic-activist rap duo Fokn Bois from Ghana is jointly responsible. Also on the list of prominent guests are Felipe Gordon from Colombia and Delfonic from Berlin as well as Cornelia Lund from fluctuating images. Roskow Kretschmann appears as co-producer, whose name is associated with many other well established musicians.

Our second record from Sweden's Sune is a proper full-length. Ten tracks, forty- five minutes—classic LP!

And it's arranged as such, too; it tells a story through tightly-arranged chapters. Early on in the journey, they're bouncy and whimsically animated, pillowy white clouds slowly drifting across an azure sky. As we get more invested, the tempo rises and the warm, squishy house beats feel as though they can't always quite keep up. A delight. To conclude the A-side, Sune brings a twinkly ballad, a late- night Joe Jackson piano serenade with instrumental hip-hop drums keeping everything in place.

The other side only wants to party; it begins with a wiggly bass lick that's got a wicked charm to it, and continues to explore the unusual jazz-club-meets- sweaty-warehouse space that Sune's compositions are so often possessed with. The B concludes as the A did, with a lilting, hopeful, and heartfelt send-off. Everything is fine? Everything is fine.
Everything is fine.

Switzerland is pretty!....and rich. Luckily not only rich in terms of gold, money and securities, but also in terms of artists. Producers, DJs and labels who constantly bless us and the world with innovative tracks, moving sets and professional releases. And once the mix turns cross territorial the excitement rises. One of these interesting fusions is the latest project of one of the currently hottest artists Switzerland has; Andri on the label Sirion Records. The Zurich based Andri has played himself into the hearts of DJs and party crowds through his many releases on Highgrade and Cityfox. His live sets are cherished at home and in high demand abroad. Herewith Andri debuts his artistic collaboration with is companion, Valentino - an equally established artist of the local scene. Promoting and organizing parties, DJing and co-owning the cult club Frieda's Büxe, Valentino has sculpted and influenced the Zurich scene, all the while crossing the cantons and the countries borders with is work. The style of these two gentlemen's tracks couldn't be more contemporary. On one hand deep with sturdy house note on the main track "What You Want", and on the other driving with a pinch of progressive on "Just Take
It" or simple synthesis on "Get Lost". The lessons Andri gave Valentino, the audible influence of Valentino on Andri, an exciting symbiosis that fits spot-on to Sirion. The package is aptly complemented by another local and familiar matador, Don Ramon's eased up and multifaceted remix of "Just Take It". Long-time renowned and one of the most popular Swiss DJs, Ramon co-owns the Frieda's Büxe with Valentino.

NTSC presenting Space Jelly EP as the first release on their new imprint Sweetspot.

The A-side includes two fresh and Deep House tracks with a minimal touch - compact driving beats, subtle textures and groovy percussions.

'Lady Of Grape' on the B-side is a deeper stripped down track with a jazzy infused sample - telling a proper story from start to end.

Good things come to those who wait. True to this phrase the joint project by Pablo Bolivar and Mastra aka Stefan Willenegger emerged after an extensive period of time. Nevertheless words were still rapidly followed by deeds. It's the year 2012. Pablo was

The "On the Road with Microcon" is the essence of a two-year history in the form of an album by Bernese producer Rafael Kasma. His music took on a new twist during this period - dry house tracks in Mountain People style, combined with breaks, acid, electro, and even pop-ish attitudes. One constant, however, remains with all the resulting songs: The monophonic synthesizer "Microcon", produced in the nineties. This musical diary is complemented by interpretations by Youandewan, Adrian Bergmann and Kevin Villar.

For our third release, we are really honoured to bring back to the game the mysterious legend of Random Factor aka Carl Finlow.

Emerging from the shadows, Carl comes back with four beastly, hard hitting slabs - an EP produced in the 2000s that never saw the light before. Futuristic pads, combined with rolling basslines and otherworldy effects interlace to make the perfect soundtrack for the techno-dystopia.
