The most sought after track in the last few months is finally arrived.

Some pirated copies circulated illegally, but this is the definitive version...tried and tested in the last few months and always ending to be the tune of the night, 'Marvinello' is the result of the collaboration between Michel Cleis and Klement Bonelli.
Born and raised in the Italian part of Switzerland, Michel Cleis needs no introduction, having released music on labels like Cadenza, Pampa, Rekids, Supplement Facts, Aus, Defected and Ovum to name a few.

His eclectic and diverse taste has lead him to collaborate with Klement Bonelli. Born and raised in France with a deep-rooted history in Art & Electronic Music, Klement started his career in 2002 with a release on the legendary US label Basement Boys, and then launched his own imprint Krome Records.
The result of their collaboration is a monster EP. 'Marvinello' is an infectious rework of Marvin Gaye's classic: The drum pattern, the percussions and the bassline are irresistible and the use of the vocals create a unique atmosphere. The balance is something so hot you can't resist ! The B Side track 'Gostek' is a heavenly mixture of house, soul, and gospel, underpinned by a percussive driving techno groove that takes you by the throat to the dancefloor.

When we think of the blues, of the daily suffering that transcends the work of an artist, the first images that come are often linked to the USA, Louisiana or Detroit. In Edinburgh, where Aqua Bassino lives, we understand where the melancholy that fills his music comes from. The grey of the sky, the poverty, industrial heritage laminated by the Thatcher years, the extinguished looks, the empty store windows, the faded curtains. The blues was in his music, but also in his daily life. Getting out of his homeless status, sleeping in the garages of his friends or in the recording studios that he was loaned. This "deep" side which is the hallmark of Jason Robertson.

Bosconi Soundsystem finally has landed on the label with a four tracker EP. Born as a DJ project orginally in 2009, BSS features three of the central personalities those have defined in a way the sound mark of the label through the years since its foundation: label owner Fabio Della Torre, Mass Prod and Rufus. This debut release has named "Back To Front" not only as a work and life statement but also recall one of trio's very intimate baddest habits (please do not misundertand..) First scandalous cut of the Front Side "( She Wipes ) Back To Front" is the powerful combination of a bouncing and tight 909 groove plus a pulsating fat bass enriched here and there by psychedelic synth lines properly made to excite your pelvic moves between the decks and on the dancefloor.A2 is a voyeuristic happy, funky, progressive and glorious deep techno weapon for the ecstatic peak time moments. On the Back side you'll find the cheeky mood of the modular melodic joints of the swinging B1 track named "Three Healthy Birds" and the granitic and new-not-old skool organ vibe of the senselessly titled B2 "I <3 My Pinus". Here again another Japanese Artist does his debut release on Bosconi Extra Virgin, Daisuke Kondo from Okayama drops a delicious 4 tracks EP featuring a special reinterpretation from italian duo Nas1, not new to the Bosconi Fam, who also appeared on Wild Oats and more recently released on Berlin label Money Sex. "Roof Dancer EP" starts with the subtle and hypnotic house jam of "Everybody", a groovy and bouncey deep house track enriched with funky elements and delayed keys going all along the track, in real Daisuke's trademarked style.
On A side second cut there's the 'Roof Dancer' tune who gives the title to the ep, a funky and extra warm broken beat jam dense of organic latin percussions and jazzy vibes..and it feels like a real band jamming on a beach! Nas1 rework for "Exit" opens the B side with a pumping, tribalish and unconventional freestyle jazz-house jam for your freaked out moments on the floor or even a "Stand Up!" track for your opening sets, something for Theo's fan..The EP ends with the chuggy beat of "Passion", a track which reminds some of best Moodymann's classic atmospheres or even those soulful loungey tunes from the late 90's.

Kalahari Oyster Cult have been thumbing through their back catalogue and return to a past gem for some renewed attention. 2017 saw the release of Erell Ranson's Hand in Hand, a quintet of beautifully crafted machine music. Two tracks have been chosen from the EP and remixed with stunning results.

First up is Dj Normal 4's 'Sealife Safari MixX' of 'If We Never Try.' The sweet, shimmering melody of the original, the bubbling bass and subtle notes, are transformed in this remake. Silvery chords morph into bold and daring new forms under the tutelage of Tim Schumacher, neon streaked patterns coalescing with broken and cracked percussion for a superbly uplifting piece.

Pariah follows with his rework of 'Hand in Hand.' A deep dreamscape intricately woven with heady notes, birdsong and endless possibilities.

The final odyssey comes care of SW (Stefan Wust) of SUED fame. The Berlin based musician delivers his reimagined idea of 'If We Never Try' with Ranson's version being washed over by lapping lines and gentle currents to create a smooth rounded finale. A trio of unique perspectives from three true talents of electronic music.

The twigs of the Seekers' tree are growing. Switzerland's very own LES POINTS collective join TWIG with a very special EP.

We left Herva & Dukwa with a bunch of bangers with their latest Ep "It Fell Down"... we found em back only after few months with their first Life's Track longer player featuring an

impressive variety of styles but always with their unmissable, raw and twisted up touch. This album of 8 tracks, spread in one twelve and a seven inches, starts on A side with the

funky break of "Needed", continuing with the deep driving moment of "Amore" and the hip hop beat of "Put It On". On the flip side instead we find the catchy vocal riff of the stomping roller called "Freak With Us" followed by the soulful ghetto tech vibe of 'Call It You' and the melancholic, romantic, stoned and rotten lullaby of "Tired Brass". More tasty and unusual grooves are included in the tiny wax which close the record up, on a side the peaceful, abstract, suspended and atmospheric dimensions of 'Play With Me' and on the other the glow-fi-sh and "emo"-tech wave of "Venere". LONE - ABRAXAS EP IS A THREE TRACK EXCURSION INTO ETHEREAL ACID

Lone reveals the first physical release on his new imprint, Ancient Astronauts, which has been set up to release new material whilst working on his next studio album.

The three track EP, Abraxas, sees the producer carry out his first experiments with 303 acid packaged up in a breakbeat club tool focused sound – an idea which was sparked from hearing friends playing ‘90s drum and bass at slower speeds than usual.

The result is a rip-roaring trio of tracks, with the heavy bass rumbles and searing squelch of Abraxas undoubtedly cementing the title track as the chosen club destroyer. Young Star Cluster follows up with a marriage of the rolling funky drummer break with bursts of 303 acid and Lone’s trademark empyrean breakdowns before How Can You Tell takes us deeper still, with choral pads opening the door to another chapter in the multifaceted producer’s sound.

Influential house label Holic Trax's new sub series here with second ep from Martin Lewis entitled Monoklo 2. The sub label, also call Monoklo, will showcase a deeper, darker house sound that focusses on the dance floor and sees all material selected by the boss, Tomoki Tamura.

Minimono finally strikes back on Bosconi records since 4 years from their last hot album"Runaway". This four tracker vinyl named "Gang Of Fools" represents the perfectcontinuation of their trademark sound aesthetic dense of funk, warm vibes and west coast house attitude: the record starts on A side with that unmistakable "shake-yo-booty" disco riff of the "Gang Of Fools" track which follows the deeper and keep on going groove of " The Rapid Fall" on the second cut. On B side instead you'll find the sliding and subtle "no excuse" driving jack-house-funk of "Bring It" followed by the melancholy and romanticism of the"Under The Influence" closing track. No Tools for Fools !

Following the well acclaimed comeback on Bosconi "Gang of Fools EP" and the releases on Robsoul and Vibraphone, Fabio Della Torre and Ennio Colaci aka Minimono strike again with a double release that might be considered as a split album in 2 vinyl records named "Theory Of Strings".First of two Eps starts with the chuggy, jazzy and edgy vibe of "Get The Groove", an intelligent partial rework of an underground disco-not-disco old gem. Second cut gets more funky-filtered, bouncing and suspended with the fresh broken atmosphere of "Back in Dc" .On the B side Fabio and Ennio go back to jazziness adding more broken grooves, some twisted rhodes solo goodness and a persistent hypnotic driving feel to the track "Actually", and then ending this first part with another smooth filtered and toolish winner for the summer called Meningi. Mind the Strings and wait for the second part!

After 'Theory Of Strings (part1)' Ennio Colaci and Fabio Della Torre present the second part!The first track of A-side is the one who gives the title to the whole project, " Theory Of Strings", a dubby groover with a funky and psychedelic feel in the vein of a more coloured and dirtier Studio 1 or Soundhack. The "Feeling good vibe" keeps going relaxed and chill with the smart up and down mood of the track "Forty Degrees" while on B side Minimono get drier, minimalistic and more mysterious with the subtle after-hour jam of Rewind. This strong effort by Fabio and Ennio ends trough the cinematic atmosphere and the romantic piano notes of the gentle but raw closing act "Still Mine". Mind the Strings!

Dievegge emerges again in the darkest hours for the second
instalment. Ouvrijster returns with three soulful house tracks
on the Amsterdam based label and comes back with a definite
improvement in production skills. The first track “Make Me
Move” is a deep disco groover that levitates you with vocals
longing for body movement. The deeper sounds empower the
desire to escape everyday life. “Konkelfoezen” then funks
things up with a groovy baseline and rich sounding stabs. It
yearns for bringing back the modern take on the 70’s sound
into the clubs of today. The slow burner “Sleazy Saints” rounds
up the record with an ode to the sleazy sounds, pleading for
the return of these saints. By its slower pace and unfolding
atmosphere it moves away from the easy heaters and
enriches the messages of these tracks. This second Dievegge
Recordings vinyl only release shows again the goal of this
project and the sound that Dievegge cherishes.

The long-awaited debut album from Patricia Kokett. Constructed around a trip to the island of Phuket in Thailand. Where the annual Vegetarian Festival is taking place (The Nine Emperor Gods Festival). A beautiful ecstatic collage of music builds around the festivities and rituals taking place at this festival, with the aim of giving health and wisdom back to the community. This narrative of 6 long stretched out tracks and their background captures the feelings of relief, transcendence, togetherness, and electricity.

In 2018, approximately at the same glorious time of the year we’re about to reach (the early days of Summer, what else?), River Yarra released the age-of-content-friendly #Lucky #Boy, his debut EP on Antinote. Since then, the record has been living a happy life of its own, as a collection of four ace dance melodies unfolding at different BPM’s, being played in various environments – from quality warm-up sets for small-scale dancefloors to indie podcast series. Twelve months (punctuated by short but witty mails) later, River Yarra offers an update for his music, with a second set of four ace dance melodies unfolding at different BPM’s (from 88 to 140).

After focusing mainly on human conditions of living in a post post-modernist cultural mayhem, River very logically turns his back to rotting humanity and pays tribute to our next of kin, frogs (unless humans decimate their whole population before their own extinction). Here we are with Frog Mania, here we are. “All hail Yarra, thou shalt be frogking hereafter”. The opening song, Toad Charmer, is a seductive sarabande to bewitch frogs in which the pied piper of Hamelin is Priscilla Queen of the Desert and there’re acid sparkles in the pond. Now that we know what kind of track we’re on, River Yarra makes his program for SS 2019 clear with AMFYBYONZZ: it’s going to be all about tranc-e synths, orchestral hits and amphibian gimmicks – and like Toad Charmer, the lyrics on AMFYBYONZZ are not cluttered up with superfluous phrases: “amphibian” is (the only) word.

On the flip side, the BPM keeps on accelerating, reaching whopping 140 BPM with the soberly named closing song, Prog Frog. But there’s still one tune to go through before reaching Frogmania’s climax… Did I mention how infectious all of these songs are? And Frogz Ov Gondwana is no exception to the rule, channeling the particles of MDMA you may have absorbed into the right corner of your brain with its wild arpeggiators and synthetic howling. Finally, it’s time for Frogmania’s anthem, Prog Frog, an up-tempo ballad through time and space, from frogs’ ancestors from the Devonian to their future incarnation; in other words, a song that ensures Frogmania to become an essential record for any batrachian lover.

Fabio Della Torre's Bosconi Records is back with another release by homegrown artist Rufus featured this time by a remix from the now established talent from the Bosconi nursey Herva.Just an year after his latest "Black & Blues EP" released on sister label Extra Virgin, the Florentine but Berlin based producer this time delivers on the main offshoot some tougher and more sophisticated sound textures, quite different comparing to his previous works, within his new "Stranger In Paradise" 5 tracker vinyl: A side begins with the hypnotic and rolling funky breaks of "Stranger Than Paradise", a dreamy and ethereal banger delighted by a heavenly melody floating all along the track.The second cut consists in definitively more outrageous, psychedelic, infernal atmosphere, intermixed by horny and thoughtful whispering vocals which characterizes the afro-tech funk groover and indecently named track "Slave Of Pussy".On the flip side instead Rufus goes deeper and weird with high filtered grooves and wonky bass lines within the sneaky jam of "A Mirage" , getting then slightly more classic deep-styled on B2 with the gentle laid-back mood of "Sleepy Song". We are finally happy to end this release with the return of another homegrown Bosconi artist, recently releasing also for labels such Planet Mu and Delsin, which is Herva, who drops a not conventional but extremely forward thinking ethno-idmish/broken-beat re-interpretation of Rufus original "Stranger Than Paradise".

Bosconi Extra Virgin is proud to launch the first vinyl release by Japanese duo Spangleman formed by Tsukasa Kato and Ataru Nishizaki. Their Brown EP is a 5 tracker of ultra minimalistic and sophisticated house jams!! First cut is "Jimmy", a broken swingy jazzy track with a deep aquatic rhodes and a slap bass, chasing each other all along the track, reminding some of the Trimsound or Tom Ellis early works. Second track of A side goes more straight into an hypnotic deep house track.. which still maintains it's jazzy approach with an original arrangement from beginning to end. The welcoming sound of "Ubi-Quitous" opens the B side, a broken dubby tune reminding early 90's atmospheres a la Nightmares on Wax.. follows up the ultra dry deep after hour track "Illusion" sounding like a real jazz jam with drums and contrabass where a quirky voice appearing from time to time, brings you back to reality! The EP ends with the freaky minimal Chicagoish jam "Chi This Ma" , a puzzle of chopped voice and acid samples stuck together so well like only Akufen could do.. Hard to define a sound for this release, could be Minimal, Detroit Jazzy house.. or more simply just Gentleman's house music!

The then 16-year old Starcount recorded those two stripped-down cuts straight to DAT tape in
his bedroom studio in Athens during the late 90s between cutting classes and sailing in the Aegean Sea.

Despite his young age both "Calma" and "Jeraldine" showcase top notch production skills with solid arrangements featuring the typical vocal samples of the period underlined by hypnotic melodies,
jazzy chords and a densely populated pallet of drum hits. It is most likely that the above mentioned tracks might be the earliest Detroit influenced productions ever made in Greece around that time!

Suitable for night cruising and any kind of rides with friends and family!

Sounding like a constipated and forced minimalistic funky music created in a small bedroom environment, warm, dirty and slowed down like from an old tape cassette but full bodied, the release begins with the intimate and dark mood of Sam and keeps going on with the mysterious vibes of March, the breakbeat rhythm of the Broken Gravity track and the smokey atmosphere of the downbeat sketch Slap.More mechanical grooves on B side with the percussive mid tempo of Attrazioni and more ethereal, intergalactic broken beats with Amarcord, going back to obscurity with the soulful slow house jam of Gess, while the dubby The New Stein track close up the release with a touch of micro spacial spirituality. Mechanical soul for you ears.

I write these lines with tears. Tears of joy and tears of regret. Joy, because Todd Terje's 2011 release "Ragysh" on Running Back is still one of my labels' pivotal moments - thanks to Terje of course. Regret, because its flips side "Snooze 4 Love" experiences a new dawn via Terje's own Olsen Records - and what a repetition it is. The morning dew is courtesy of Dixon and Luke Abbott, who both puts their respectively unique touch to the original's 8 minute and 8 second long lesson in blissful weightlessness - a true Terjerine dream if there ever was one. That image is precisely where Border Community mainstay Abbott adds his brush and easel to. Ambient, inventive and absorbing Abbott's remix creates something like a fourth dimension to it. So good that it is a perfect start to any day or set. On the other end of the Snooze spectrum, Dixon elbows it in the ribs. First and foremost a DJ, Dixon does what DJs do. He straightens out the thing, loses its fat and makes it fit for his specific dance floor and anyone who is keen to joy. So good that it is a perfect end to any day or set. Damn, I am jealous of this record.

"The Sweetest" Volume 1 begins with the outstanding jazzy midtempo song of Austrian producer M.A.R.S "Feel The Heat" and the deep space, italo soundtrack infected boogie directly from Napoli of Bop & 291out 's "Uomo Dalle Nuvole" , known for their releases on Acido records and Really Swing.B side features instead the chugging raw deep house track (($)) from misterious producer from Tuscany Def Safari and more funky, garagey, soulful vibes and broken beats by The Mechanical Man from Napoli and young artist Jts1 from Milano.

The Sweetest" Volume 2 sees on A side the driving and elegant detroit jazzy styled house of Twovi from Bari, the soft chicagoish swing of Tadao from Perugia and the chilled funky - filtered and disco-infected vibe of the Archivio record store's boss DJ Rou from Bologna. B side starts more minimalistic and trippy with "Lara Sogna" by already known producer and masterchef Livio Improta from Napoli (already on Rawax) , changing then on a romantic and sensual direction with the Perrone brothers's project "Easy To Remember" , Unclear's duo from Arezzo, and the closing piece by russian Danny Dust called "Days On Earth".

Flippen Disks follows up their much acclaimed label-debut with an intriguing second release by Yuto Takei.

Throughout the Bells From The East EP, Yuto Takei’s first vinyl release, displays a wide array of sounds with a particular interest in rhythmic experiments and the negotiation of sonic space.

The Tokyo-based producer and DJ takes the listener onto a trip through deep spheres, percussive workouts, jammy compositions and electronic psychedelia, leaving the listener at times startled as to whether humans are manipulating machines here, or vice-versa.
Having worked as an electronic music composer for video games such as Gran Turismo, this uncanny valley is known territory for the artist. It is, however, further explored on this four tracker, staying true to Flippen Disks paradigm of releasing club-oriented music, non-functional enough to not only be danced but also listened to.

While the title track Bells From The East is an 8 minute jam, in which the krauty psych attitude pairs up perfectly with the goofy lead melody, Eclectic Matters is an intense percussive workout, refined with a pinch of Digi-Dub.

On the flip, Karma Fuchi feels like a paraglide through a landscape of tree tops, curious winds passing and entrancing synths and percussion stabs leading the way. Mostica closes the EP beautifully and spaciously, allowing for deep dives into its detailed soundscape and waving the listener peacefully goodbye.

Theory Of Swing Records is proud to announce the Italian producer Michele Lamacchia also known as Rhythm Of Paradise presenting his new fresh project Gourment De Funk. The EP is full filtered house sounding opening with an enjoyable party theme “Believe” followed by its remix by label head St. David delivering his N.Y. house signature on A2 track.
The other side brings back people on the floor with “The Bonus ’96” representing at full the concept of this solid funky house EP. Everything ends with an heavy pumping groover “Gimme Phunk!”.

We are more than happy for Nutia returning to Tal der Verwirrung with a gloomy, twisted yet hauntingly beautiful solo EP after his first appearance on the label in 2017. Dreamy, distant bells and subtle, organic drums form the canvas for warm chords which Nutia pairs with dubby bassline stabs and vocals of his very special vocalist.

Rising Colombian house producer Amel Amaru makes his vinyl debut on Back Door Records with a solid and fresh four-track EP, including a Dsum remix. From Bogota and influenced by the old school sound of the dance music he is releasing these three brisk tempo but chasmic cuts loaded in a compact groove and travel over subtle melodies. Sharp Tea sets the mood of the release combining hunky drums & unfaded pads to maximum effect, while the second cut ramps up the emotion without sacrificing any intensity and adding the jazzy touch with a crunchy Rhodes melody. Flipping side, Cid The Champion brisk with a fat kick and intense bass line kneading the groove, also remixed by Back Door’s head Dsum.

The powerful duo of Audiojack enter 2019 with a bang, returning to Crosstown Rebels once again. Delivering two distinct dancefloor tracks, their Inside My Head 12” is set to make an impact across the globe.

Title track Inside My Head is a deep and spellbinding production, woozy and enthralling with a pulsating beat and catchy vocal hook. On the flip, Behind The Curtain is a darker, more industrial affair with a gritty drum section and an enticing groove.

Audiojack began life over a decade ago on Ralph Lawson’s seminal imprint 20/20 Vision. Since then Underworld, Groove Armada and Hot Since 82 are among the artists who have enlisted them for remix duties. They began their own highly regarded imprint, Gruuv, more than eight years ago and the label has charted releases from artists including Emanuel Satie, David Mayer, Marc Romboy, Stimming and Joyce Muniz. The duo’s energetic DJ sets have seen them play in hundreds of cities in over sixty countries and they’ve also been nominated in the DJ Mag Best Of British Awards as well as recording a coveted Radio 1 Essential Mix.
