Die beiden JEUDI-Records Künstler Deo & Z-man sind zurück und leisten ihren zweiten musikalischen Beitrag für das Label. Die beiden beweisen mit ihrem neuen Werk einmal mehr ihre Einzigartigkeit innerhalb der Szene. Um sich komplett auf ihre Musik konzentrieren zu können, schließen sich die beiden aus einer Musikerfamilie stammenden Künstler in ihr Studio ein und isolieren sich so von allem, was auf dieser Welt passiert. Das Ergebnis dieser Session ist ein neuer inspirierender 2-Tracker.
Um den beiden gerecht zu werden, brauchten wir natürlich Remixer mit dem selben hohen Anspruch an ihre Werke. Diese sind mit - Zombies in Miami', deren letztes Release - Love On The Rocks' sehr viel Aufmerksamkeit erregt hat und - Eddie C', der regelmäßig in der Berliner Panorama Bar auflegt, gefunden worden.

At the summer party on the occasion of my soon-to-be 80th birthday, many friends came. As it said on the invitation: 'The Eschenau Chaos Band will play.' While the party was going on, people asked me when that band would be playing, and I replied: 'Now! You are that band', and I randomly handed out all of these instruments. Hartmut Geerken was clued in and had brought some as well - Sun Ra's Sun Harp among others. I started with a moroccan hand drum, bendir, and off it went. Unpractised." - Herman De Vries Herman de Vries, born 1931 in Alkmaar, is a Dutch visual artist who has been living in Eschenau in the Steigerwald region (Franconia, Germany) since 1970. Having started out as an Art Informel painter in the 1950s, his interests shifted in the ensuing years, and in the 1970s, he became focused on found objects from nature and their rtistic-philosophical qualities and implications. He has made paintings, collages, texts, sculptures, installations, a.o., and has dealt with plants, earth, and other parts of nature from botanical, medical, historical, as well as psychedelic viewpoints.Recording made on June 18, 2011, in Eschenau. Edition of 300 with liner notes by Herman de Vries and photos of the event on the back sleeve.

In late 2015, Luca's debut 'Situations' first saw the light of day on Feines Tier. The EP was a whimsical fusion of his Hip-Hop roots with electric rhythms and mesmerizing boogie. Now, with his forthcoming third solo record 'Proper Preaching', he comes full circle.

Musto returns with a blend of handmade instrumental sound by his fellow musicians and that special dash of his notorious intricate groove. The record takes the listeners on a spiritual ride of revelations and hidden messages. Simultaneously, the four tracks deal with philosophical issues by telling stories of morality in 'Lucy's Intension,' the ambitions in 'State of Grind' and 'Lie To Me,' and finally faith in 'Proper Preaching.'

All of this is merged together by the use of samples as well as Luca's own recordings of words and atmospheres. Finally, the bigger picture is revealed, fueled by the eloquent subtext and the memory of the ones he lost.

OID is the solo project of Russian producer Andrei Antonets who is set to release his latest track 'Bright Side of Life' on PNN Records (13/07/2015) Born in Riga and having lived in Berlin, OID is now based in Moscow, where he is inspired by the city's rapidly changing scene. 'Bright Side of Life' translates a sense of potential, it is upbeat without being commercial. The track's singular sound has prompted The Field, Popnoname & J.P Janzen (Von Spar) and Mujuice all to produce remixes which will appear on the EP alongside the original. Each of these deliver a unique take on this uncommon yet catchy tune.

Jori Hulkkonen & Alex Nieminen joined by Pet Shop Boys' Chris Lowe cover New Orders "Subculture". This is the greatly overlooked 12" dance cover version released in 2011 by Helsinki's Keys Of Life. Boths producers and vocalist are strongly part of modern club & dance culture history and have in a not-to-often collaboration generated a solid club remix that has proven to bring out the widest of smiles from all generations of house & techno club culture. Dance floor approved for many of years already.

YARN Records is a new label from Jena with focus on new dubby-minimal-ambient sounds from all over the world - united under the warmth of a special feeling. The first EP A Feeling That We Share opens the YARN-cosmos with three trippy tracks from Laurel, Sugubo and Incolor. This droney piece comes handstamped in a recycled paperbag with sticker and 30 minutes of joy. It is limited to 300 copies.

Before you can remember anything you are about to say to me I will tell you it's time for a second round! Why even bother searching for questions if ANCIENT FUTURE already has the answers to them Delivered again in the form of four tracks by four different artists, this is number two! Is there a difference between eternity and nothingness ALMA & MATER trace that disparity on first track "Forever Never", and could not be more
haunting in the way they do it. Their search is fueled by raw 808 power and inducing saw-tooth synths, so you better watch for your shoes, for you could've already lost'em dancing too hard. Next track "Time Zone Adjustment" makes it all too easy for you to just keep on going, manufactured by the 106ERs, a tag team of future bois Philipp Fein & Johannes Klingebiel. Flip to the f-side and RHYTCH will take you to another place, although his "Lenoir" might not exactly be what they call reality. It's way too enigmatic for that, all you see is flickering lights and some weird machinery - but exciting, that's what it is! Find your way through the fog and enter the realms of "Okuruwo", reigned by the impeccable DREEMS & MAX SCHMITT. With a little help from their
friend JOHANNES KLINGEBIEL they created this world of wonder, of jungles and oceans, of plains and deserts. There is more to find in here than you could possibly search for. But you will have all the time in the world.

Two sought after Slyngshot tracks finally getting reissued alongside another two yet unreleased jams on the latest YAPPIN 12".

‘New Horizons’ is the second single from the brand-new album ‘Metamorfosi’ by Joseph Capriati.

True to its title, the track explores directions we’ve never heard before in the music of the Southern Italian producer from Caserta. It is far away from the 4/4 kicks and from the usual techno territory where Capriati is a master and a worldwide pillar. ’New Horizons’ looks somewhere else, and to head to these new horizons, Joseph joins an extraordinary travel mate: musical legend James Senese. Senese is a saxophonist who has crossed some of the most important adventures of Italian music during his long career. From Napoli Centrale to the historical and mythical band of Pino Daniele, a backbone of the famous Neapolitan Sound of the ‘80s, with whom Senese has surpassed the boundaries of Italian fame to become a worldwide reference of a fresh and new take on pop, funk and jazz.

James Griffin worked in and around various London & UK record stores from 1994 to 2005. Love of the music still remained and Circa 2019 saw him reactivate his label, Vapour Trail Records with his first solo UK release - a basic Detroit but UK inspired deep techno and electro sound “Beyond Beyond” with its yearning anthemic feel caught our ears, simple and pure.

Three’s a charm, as they say. After „Waste The Time“ and „Socialo Blanco“ „Money“ completes Daniel Meuzard’s Feater triptych. Again joined by the likes of Eric Owusu and Sam Irl and their musical as well as technical skills, as well as by the lovely voice of Vilja Larjosto, the ageless beauty and intellectual brilliance of „Money“ is impossible to resist. It could have been imagined, written and recorded almost anytime in the last 50 years. Inspired or - better put - troubled by the rise and transformation of capitalist systems, fatalism, extravism, climate change and - surprise - the power, corruption and lies revolving around money, its topic is anything, but bubblegum. The music though, is ranging from powerful songs to clever synth experiments. Incredibly executed with a perfectly wonderful result. And even if Daniel writes that there is „no need to worry, I want you to panic“, we want you to listen to this album, while you do so! Hats off to Feater. „

This record is the embodiment of everything we love about John Daly's sound, and a bit more.

Kalim Shabazz looks to find common ground between the old and the new. Electronic music with a soul. Organic electronic music that moves the dancefloor in a new, but not unfamiliar, direction…

This 3 track EP with keyboardist Jerrell Battle signify the true organic deep house vibe with "Bassic" a deep melodic journey with guitar riffs that moves you. On the flipside "Dana Byrd" beautifully demonstrates the power of the voice as "She" is dedicated to the most important women in our lives. Delivering that true NY Soulful vibe you would hear at the Shelter. Lastly "Sound Module" finishes the record with straight deepness.
Shabazz a true Brooklyn native, made his mark in New York in 1993 with his legendary Afterlife party with Kim Lightfoot. Since the early 90's Kalim has been working with partner Nick Jones; recording history together with their first release, “Wake Up People”, on Bobby Konders’ Massive B Records which featured Satoshi Tomiie & Cassio Ware. Shabazz and Jones continued this partnership under various studio monikers including ‘Moments of Soul’ and ‘Soul Movement’ with releases on labels like Wave Music, King Street Records and Shelter Records. The rest is history!

This is Language's first record that came out back in 1991, showing off two great early UK techno cuts. Perhaps it was overlooked due to their second EP 'In The Lab', initially released the following year and recently reissued, but it's a must for groovy and melodic techno fans out there.

Almost 30 years later, this gem is being reissued on Baldo's Physical Education, on a special release that brings two additional cuts: previously unreleased demo from 1990 that were found by Language's Alex and Mark, while looking for the original recording tapes.
Certainly a record to keep an eye out for, with a sound that aged very well and will get you moving your body for some physical education

Following it's 2019 launch with Peggy Gou's ‘Moment’ EP and a follow up 12" from DMX Krew, Gudu Records continues its journey with one of the true heroes of the underground, Maurice Fulton. Consisting of three diverse tracks, the ‘Earth’ EP captures a shared love of esoteric experiments in house, disco and funk, delivering a different flavour with each cut.

The EP opens with a collaboration between Fulton and label founder Peggy Gou: ‘Jigoo’ is the sound of both artists in full swing, combining a rolling, infectious bassline with the sort of joyous chords that have won Gou's previous productions quite so much play. Vintage Chicago house drum work drives the track forward, while a series of psychedelic breakdowns combine to create another understated club anthem in waiting.

On the B side, ‘Not Sure How I Would’ may offer the perfect introduction for those yet to have fully immersed themselves in Fulton's wonderful back catalogue. A chugging bassline, live drums and guitar plus a barrage of effects invite listeners into a hugely accomplished, utterly unpredictable dancefloor space, one primed to invite full-scale freakouts for heads-down crowds.

Finally, ‘One Itself’ provides the most understated moment on Gudu thus far. Slowly and surely bubbling, yet more raw percussion intertwines wildly with fizzy, analogue manipulations, Fulton engineers a veritable pressure-cooker of slo-mo rave euphoria that could once again leave a dancefloor spinning on its collective head.

As a producer you allways get inspired by a diverse range of musical genres and other producers. This ¦rst episode of “Twerk Life Balance” is initiated by the producer duo “Twerking Class Heroes” and it features three other artists (Meister Lampe, DJ Marcelle - Another nice mess and Candie Hank) with quite diverse production techniques. On the A side we have two Hip Hop oriented electronic bangers from the Twerking Class Heroes and Meister Lampe. Both tracks are inspired by either traditional arabic music or belly dance music. The B Side opens with a deep downbeat and electro song from the Twerking Class Heroes and gets followed by a kucek oriented acid game track from Candie Hank. The ¦nal track is a super distorted Club Banger made for a DJ Set like one of DJ Marcelle and produced by herself.

The dynamic trio of Yør Kultura returns from the Netherland wilderness with their new 4 track ep “Ours Is Yours" on Permanent vacation. A trio of guitar, bass and drums, Elektro Guzzi overcome the boundary between analogue versus digital, performing techno live with the drive of a machine and the sonic detail of an instrument - without any computers or loopers. For their upcoming album Polybrass, Elektro Guzzi have drastically expanded their sonic repertoire: both in the studio and on stage, they are joined by an ensemble of three trombonists, opening up a whole new realm of possibilities. With Hilary Jeffrey, Daniel Riegler and Martin Ptak, the band are joined by three brass heavyweights, each of them well renowned for both their solo ventures as well as projects such as The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble, Sand and Zeitkratzer. By treating the three trombones not simply as a set of extra instruments but rather as one coherent body of sound on its own, Elektro Guzzi dissociate the brass instruments from their conventional use and repurpose them into something completely different: a modular synthesizer, with each trombone representing one oscillator. In doing so, Elektro Guzzi add new layers of depth to their music, emphasizing a more cinematic side of their music: like the soundtrack for a movie, Polybrass is bigger, darker, more dramatic, more intimate. Warm and fuzzy textures float weightlessly above fragile soundscapes and complex sonic fragments. At the same time, the band's signature sound runs distinctly through the entire album: solid percussive grooves, stripped down to the absolute minimum it takes to make your body move. Hypnotic repetition, building tension and suspense up to a point where the energy of the music gets so intense you feel like you can physically touch it with your hands, interlaced with organic patterns of sound, constantly changing and evolving, pulsating and oscillating. Pedro Vian surprises us with a an album that is impossible to categorize into a single musical style. This LP guides its audience through musical scenes typically attributed to the artist, with atmopheric tracks like Pandora or Paradiso (available on the digital version). But it also travels through abstract, sonic labyrinths in songs like Maia or Nine is Nine, accentuates the rhythm with techno tracks such as Le Fou, Invisible Objects or Indian Strings, and even submerges us into the depths of pop with 801 Nite, where Pedro Vian collaborates with the young and talented singer of Mourn (Captured Tracks/USA) Carla Pe´rez Vas. Beautiful Things You Left Us For Memories is the most mature work signed by Pedro Vian, where he clearly manifests all of his influences and distances himself from the introspection prominent in his last EP’s, where he collaborated with artists like Inga Copeland from the Hype Williams Duet, or Pye Corner Audio. This is a bold move forward on an international trajectory that has received robust recognition from specialized, international critics.The new project will be published through a digital version with twelve originals; and through a reduced vinyl version where photographers Adria Can~ameras, artist Irene Royo and graphic designer Marc Monguilod have collaborated, and audio engineer Josh Bonati has mastered the sound. The latest transmission from Francis Harris' exquisite Scissor And Thread imprint showcases the many talents of Tokyo's Tomi Chair aka Tominori Hosoya. The DJ and producer goes by both names, and here presents five tracks of lush, emotional music veering between ambient excursions and dance floor heaters. The original version of title track 'Tropical Imagination' opens the EP, and is a deep and thoughtful dance floor number. Elegant chords set the tone while the percussion adds a silky funkiness that's impossible to ignore. The 'Dream Version' strips the track down to its pads and atmospheres. Next up is Tomi Chair's 'Heat Exhaustion' - an exceptionally beautiful beatless piece that drifts through droney pads and occasional fragments of minor key melody. Using the Tominori Hosoya moniker, side B begins with 'We Are Here' - another powerfully restrained piece that merges woody percussion with low key pads and field recordings to create a magical whole. Francis Harris adds his touch to 'Heat Exhaustion' with his respectful Reform version, adding skittering percussion and underpinning the piece with a leftfield ambient house edge that builds and builds. Tournedisque last year. Side B, more audacious and made up of two delicious
snacks will make you hungry for more in the late hours of the night...

Norm De Plume makes a welcome return to Delusions Of Grandeur following up last year’s Castlecrag EP which boasted a remix from the mighty Folamour. The Londoner, now based in Sydney, has been quietly making a name for himself over the last decade with remixes for Tornado Wallace and Ben La Desh and EP’s for Kolour LTD and his own vinyl-only imprint Plumage winning him a solid following along the way.

His passion for all things disco and deep, dubby, underground house inspired by his musical hero Ron Hardy feeds through into his production style as well as his recently formed Analogue Discogue party which boasts an audiophile sound system and vinyl-only sets from the DJ’s.

For his latest release entitled the Squarker EP Norm gives us plenty of heat for the dance floor across three brilliant originals. The title track even manages to make a slap bassline sound good with a healthy dose of dub delays and some deep, epic chords building into the mix. A crunchy disco groove with live hihats and congas keeps things loose and organic whilst remaining fat and punchy.

Flipping over we have Love Me So which works up an 8th note live bass line to great effect, filtering chords adding a nice tension until the point where an off kilter synth sequences joins to add the icing on the cake.

Closing out the EP we have A Stone Thing which takes a more housey approach with classic 909 hats bringing a shuffle feel and layers of chiming chord stabs adding a deeper atmosphere for the warm up or afterhours.
