Cabin Fever are back with one of the most asked for tracks of 2012. Already a massive record for Radio Slave these tracks have been the talk of the town since he picked them up from a young frenchman based in Berlin at the end of last year. The second EP on the Uncage Swap Series is another belter, with boss man Marco Faraone serving up a pair of originals while Traumer and Djebali both serve up superb remixes. InDaClub is a pure piece of techno dynamite with a huge wall of rolling drums and icy hi hats making you move. A sleazy ghetto vocal that gets dropped over the top to make sure that hands go into the air.

This Record Goes Right has more huge, pinging kick drums that are brilliantly analogue and powerful, while choppy hits and vocal stab add more fuel to the fire. First to remix is Traumer, who takes things down a more silky late night road, with sci-fi pads and nice warm bass all getting you into a state of hypnosis.

Last of all, Djebali then gets down and dirty with his late night mix, rubbery kicks and trippy synths all making it a colourful groove. These are four high class, high impact tunes from this already vital label.

Clipp.art's first 12' is finally here! Who else to give the froff lords what they want but the one and only 1-800 Girls with his debut EP entitled 'U, Me and Madonna'. Blood, sweat and a whole lot of creative juices have got the clipp family to this point and we are thrilled to finally have some physical tuna for the people.

1-800 Girls has been on the move of late with shows all over the UK, international dates in Malta and Poland and recently debuting on Rinse FM. This new ep 'U, Me and Madonna EP' is a continuation of his highly successful track U, Me and Madonna premiering on Houseum last year. To date, the track has almost two and a half million spins on YouTube... Everyone remembers that little kid dancing fabulously to the New York skyline.

Three new tracks including the reimagined 'Sundown edit' of 'U, Me and Madonna' have that distinctive 1-800 Girls sound however a bit more upbeat and including killer euphoria outros.

The second track on the ep would take any dancefloor on an adventure through the deep jungle. Wondering acid lines and some of the smoothest pads we have heard in a while, some kids may never return from the jungle you put them in.

Track three 'All Day, All Night' is the magic tool of the release breaking up the soundwaves with this moving heavy bass line chugger. It may even push you through to the 13th hour of your Sunday morning kick ons.

Overall 1-800 Girls has put some proper talent into this release and we have to give him serious props for his craft.

Burek is turning 18 with this one and we're honored to have the opportunity to welcome one of Chicago's most interesting producers to our family. His name is Mr Gene Hunt and if you've been into proper house music, it's impossible to miss one of his records.
For this EP, titled 'Reborn Rhythms', Gene delivers 4 full-blooded house bombs. All tracks are going beyond 8 minutes of length and are making good use of that time. Common denominator of all tracks is the irresistible and effective groove which is almost challenging you to try and not to move to it.

A side is reserved for two versions of already anthemic-sounding 'Deep House Thang' featuring Laffeyette Parker on the vocals. First up is the instrumental mix, and the second a full vocal.

Mr Hunt managed to come up with a skillfully balanced juxtaposition of a latin-sounding groove, catchy funk-sounding synth hook and gorgeous cascading pads. By the point the vocal drops, the whole room understand that the words are true.

Full vocal version is musically same as the instrumental but puts a much bigger spotlight to Laffeyette's soulful vocal. He's much more present and is developing the theme through several verses, in comparison to the instrumental one where only the chorus appears.

First cut on the B side, 'Get Down', is a ready-for-the-floor house track which during the first 20 seconds locks you into a heavy guitar-based bassline groove which bites like a bulldog. Throw Gene's drum programming into the mix, with several different vocal chunks exchanging roles and you've got something you'll be reaching for a lot. Serious house music vibes.

Second cut on the B side, 'The Message', could be described as the 'calmest' or the 'deepest' of the batch but that description doesn't do it justice. It's a beautiful peak-time house song which manages to build and move quite a lot without losing you in the richness of its piano chords, airy choir-reminiscent synths and beautiful strings. Simply timeless.

Powder In Space marks the first in a new series exploring dance music's form and informality from Tim Sweeney's Beats In Space Records. The friendly voice behind the longstanding Beats In Space radio show and a formidable DJ to dance floors around the world, the ...In Space series, like the rest of the label's eclectic catalog, is testament to Tim's trust in the selector and vice versa.

After a period of quiet, Area is back with friends on Kimochi Sound.
All the tracks here are reworks of Area productions, but the collaborators take the originals in new and exciting directions.

Gauss' Natan H offers up a stomping version of Dare To Be Different, whereas Freerotation's Leif contrasts with a fleetfooted rendition of The Face Yours Reminds Me Of. Longtime label contributor Benjamin Brunn gets the whole B-side to traverse tempos and textures and round out the emotive release.

Aural Imbalance dives deeper into the sonic hues and palettes touched on by his “Propagation of Light” album. “Transparent Blue” comes at that trademark AI sound from a different production ethos on each tune, bending the predefined boundaries of dance genres and their subcategories. Simon’s goal this turn was to form an album playable as standalone songs and symbiotic as a holistic listening experience. Mission accomplished.

The Cuartero remix has been getting a lot of attention but do not overlook the original & the Nathan Barato remix, this is one of those releases where all three versions are a gem.

Argentina meets Romania in this superlative team up on Fuse London, one of the first times the label has reached out from their close knit group to harness a more outward direction.

Title track 'Volver' trips along in multi-colour splendour, it's hypnotic groove underpinned by warm oscillating pads whilst VINYL ONLY track 'Nuevo' is a sprightly fresh tech roller. Label head Enzo Siragusa ups the energy on his remix with a well-rounded kick drum imbuing the track with a sense of urgency.

The third single from New York based Stray Current Records is a slice of classic piano house. Producer D. Briggs is joined here by vocalist Danhy Clermont, who brings a warm, soulful mood to the track. For the A-side remix, Briggs breaks the track down and gives it a minimal, electro-pop feel. Then on the B-side, globe trotting DJ and Let's Play House label boss, Jacques Renault delivers an amped up version that will bring the heat to the dance floor.

Man Power's Me Me Me label proudly presents a very special new compilation, 'We We We', which will see all profits donated to the vital Help Refugees charity. The release boasts 25 new and exclusive tracks from a wide range of artists both new and established including Pional, Juan Maclean, Shit Robot, Medlar, ASOK, Ian Blevins and more. As well as the full album, two limited, vinyl-only samplers will also be released, with each featuring one exclusive track that is not available anywhere digitally.

The recipient of the albums profits, Help Refugees, is the leading UK NGO in a new movement of humanitarian aid, helping to plug the gaps in services not provided to those displaced by war. The man behind the compilation's concept is Man Power aka Geoff Kirkwood, an established producer with credits for his off kilter mix of house, disco, ambient and techno on labels like John Talabot's Hivern Discs, ESP Institute and Jennifer Cardini's Correspondent.

Kirkwood says, I have wanted to do a compilation of this nature for a long time. I'm incredibly lucky, as well as eternally grateful, to know so many talented artists who were willing to donate wonderful music towards this important cause.' The gratitude clearly flows both ways with Help Refugees director Philli Boyle saying We are so grateful to Man Power and to all the incredible artists who have shown solidarity with displaced people across the world'.

The superb compilation kicks off in plaintive fashion with absorbing ambient tracks from Ian Blevins, Dharma and ASOK. Pale Blue's 'Eyes' then brings deep and persuasive drums into the picture with thoughtful, sombre synths lingering up top. There is a real beauty to much of the selection here, as demonstrated by more wistful chords on Forriner's lush deep house day dream 'Sunrise in Bensham', while jacking dance floor tackle comes from Pink Skull and Medlar's pumping 909 drums and the pixelated melodic delights of Christophe's rugged, Chicago-indebted jack track 'Winder'.

Man Power himself pops up with an epic nine minute opus that is broad, sweeping house music at its most dramatic and evocative, and Pional's 'Night Charmer' is a typically inventive cut with icy drones and dehumanised vocals. Big hitters like Shit Robot offer a heavy dose of dub house, while 'Quantume Reach' by Juan Maclean (feat Amy Douglas) is gorgeously off beat house with thoughtful chords and spine-tingling vocals with a poignant message.

This is a compilation jam-packed with a broad array of accomplished and standout sounds, and that it is all for charity only makes it an even more essential and welcome release.
The full album is released exclusively via Bandcamp on 4th May in exchange for a 'no minimum' donation to the charity, with the label asking to please give generously.

Adelaide duo Warren Raww present a 12" that ups the energy of their July EP, whilst still delivering on their own brand of melodic, synth-laden house music. This time flanked by comrades Arthur Miles and Freddie Norwood, they add to the already high volume of talent currently emanating from Australia.
The A side offerings shift between the more low-end driven aspect of Warren Raww's production style, with off-kilter bass lines, punchy percussion and contemplative chord progression. The B side strips things back a bit further with a track each from Arthur Miles and Freddie Norwood. Gliding pads, raw percussion, broken beats and rolling drums all melt together to deliver an essential slab of house music.

1995, in the midst of the Chicago-Detroit House-Techno movement Wyndell Long produces his first single on the English label Peacefrog.
5 tracks ranging from House to techno and Deep with jazz influnze immediately bring it to the attention of fans of these sounds and today it will continue to shine on Flash Forward.

The third offering from Infinite Juju, 'CULT CURRY', pairs Schematic recording artist and sexual juggernaut, Joe Lentini (Philadelphia) with former Philadelphian techno mainstay SomeOne Else (Little Helpers/Tuning Spork/Get Physical, the list goes on...).  The original is an elegant and percolating strut with minor pads and and morphing arpeggios whilst SomeOne Else's mellow 4/4 take gives it an urgent twist.

X-Kalay returns to close out the year and kick off a fresh run of releases with another label debut from UK up and comer, Lewis Taylor aka “LT”.

Releasing his first ever record via Rhythm Section last summer to great success, LT serves up a clinical three tracker for X-Kalay spanning pacey tech, slo-mo drum funk and breaks laden hazey house.

A re-issue of deep and dark slow-tempo italo-disco hit from St. Petersburg. Written & produced by Vladimir Savenok at Leningrad Radio House in 1989. Vocals by Olga Gerasimova. A never published before instrumental version kindly provided by the author from his private archives.

Glue Music decides that wax is the way forward after a scheduled break with the previous release schedule being digital.
Glue's tangible music format will continue after Label owner Richard Seeley delivers his first vinyl release since 2007 on VVWI with the Maria EP 'Maria' an organic piano-laden house track with a moody, ominous, misleading filtered start which flourishes into a feel-good house track with compelling whispering vocals and layered chords. 'Got the Taste' zones in on the relentless groove with breathless vocal stabs and unforgiving deepness which conforms to a simplistic affable approach. Rounding up the EP is 'Maria' remixed by Berlin based Producer 'Beaner' The La Mission label head serves up a trippy off kilter-creation with a clever contrast to the original.

Sam Goku's music showcases bonds of ambient, acic, house, techno and melodies. It's perfect for both club environments and home listening. The modern production style in combination with old-school elements/non-repetitive vocal sample work give Goku's music a unique, trippy twist that is topped off with Chinese percussive instrumentation.

Portuguese artist Armando Mendes makes a huge statement with his debut album 'Parallel Universe', which was written and recorded over two and half years between LA, London and Berlin with legends including Robert Owens,Ithaka from the N.W.A. crew and Defected's Jinadu.

Armando Mendes is one of Portugal's most assured artists. His rich and musical sound is informed by jazz and funk and he has played all over the world from Russia to Australia, all while picking up more than 80,000 monthly plays on Spotify for his music. His tremendous debut album ranges across the electronic music spectrum from downbeat and jazzy to deep house and electronica.

Ithaka is the guest on the album opener 'This Life's All We Got,' which is a lush downbeat song with pensive lyrics. Late night jazz house stylings define 'Things U Do 2 Me' while 'Acid Yardies' looks to the club with its serrated 303s and dub wise drums. Chicago vocal royalty Robert Owens lends his heartfelt and buttery tones to the perfectly deep 'No Regrets' and after an acid and piano ambient fusion on 'MS20 Interlude' there is more rich, spiritual and jazzy house ('Parallel Universe,' ' Khun Pui - Mae Nam' and 'The Melody Inside') as well as more synth laden and electronic grooves to get dance floors moving ('One Night in Bangkok').

The majestic, percussive and colourful 'Tropical Affair' is just that, then things get tender and introspective on the gorgeous 'Electric 88' before a radio edit of the classy pop house that is 'The Melody Inside' feat. Jinadu closes things out in emotional fashion. This is a widescreen musical journey that makes a lasting impact from an artist who is looking set for big things.

Local Talk ends 2019 with something special, a release by Antony Nicholson & Mark de Clive-Lowe.

Anthony Nicholson aka Miquifaye is deeply rooted in the movement of taking music and art forward in the city we call Chi-town, across the globe and around the world.
Anthony has a discography that has been one of the most respected and sought after collections in dance music.

Mark is an artist in constant evolution, reaching for that next level, to call him prolific is something of an understatement.
Together they've created two tracks that got 'classics' written all over them and executed to perfect precision.

Micro.Solchi is the collaboration between Paolo Mosca and Matteo Volpato. Keep an eye on these guys and their fresh and spontaneous mixture when it comes to Breaks, house and electro.

For its 8th release Daydream is proud to present Euphony EP a full solo record by Noah Skelton, an artist from the family we love and follow since a while.This four tracker gathers everything that constitutes the special sound of the talented Irish producer – ethereal synths, dubby pads, groovy basslines and deep voice samples.

Songstrukturen und präsentiert sich dabei als kongeniale Handclaps-Orgie mit Aciddisco- Anleihen. "Come on spread yourself over me like peanut butter", aber sehr gerne doch.
The highly anticipated second issue of the Dancer anthology by Pauli Steinbach,
Sascha Dive and Patrick Kunkel centres on one of the most quoted vocal samples in the history of house music. It is a
homage to Soul Train, Paradise Garage and other hot spots from the initial period of electronic dance music in the early
80s. Pauli and Sascha dance through the glitzy portal of Soul Train, a relaxed deep disco hymn where even the saxophone
samples fit like the icing on the cake.
Pauli and Sascha do this in a funky way and with the modernized kinky understanding that is characteristic for Dancer.
The remix on the flip side produced by Pauli in cooperation with Patrick ventures a little further from the original sound structures. It presents itself as a kindred handclaps orgy with borrowings from
acid disco. "Come on, spread yourself over me like peanut butter", but of course -- with pleasure.

Crackazat needs little by way of introduction having released some of the biggest soul-drenched, deep and jazzy cuts on the likes of Local Talk, Futureboogie and Z Records. Bristolian (now relocated to Sweden) Ben Jacobs wears his jazz influences proudly on his sleeve. His one-man live show sees him killing bass guitar and keyboards moves over the top of MAW-esque beats creating that holy grail of emotive, heartfelt music which never loses sight of the dancefloor.
Ben already has two LP’s under his belt, as well as a host of remixes for Mousse T and Peven Everett, Joey Negro and Tom Misch and we’re proud to announce him for his Freerange debut.

Opening track Valentine acts as a calling card for what Crackazat does best.... Fat, stripped back, raw, swinging house beats straight out of the Mood II Swing handbook. Live bass and jazzy piano bring an unashamedly musical edge that can’t help but bring the heat to the Dancefloor. Tried and tested by Jimpster, this one is a serious head turner and shows why many are citing Ben as a talent who is knocking hard on the door of Kenny and Louie.

Next up we have Back Of My Heart, a more tracky affair with shuffling beats, deep, rising pads and side-chained arpeggios pumping with a fat kick drum. One to get well and truly lost in at 4am.

Flipping over we have I Heard You which uses a similar sonic palette to Valentine: crisp beats with driving offbeat hats, lush piano chords and soaring Moog line all making for a serious ear-worm of a tune which you can’t help but bounce to.

Finally, Detroit luminary Patrice Scott gets busy on the remix of Back Of My Heart. The Sistrum label boss brings his Midas touch, delivering a deeper, late-night mood which subtly evolves, introducing new piano parts and bassline whilst keeping the rolling, unrelenting groove on track.
