As one of NYC's most innovative individuals, Incienso are happy to announce Kiki Kudo's debut full length EP 'Splashing'. Operating seamlessly between the mediums of music, food and general vibes, her new release follows up the 'Mineral Sequences' mixtape on Good Morning Tapes, plus a track on Physical Therapy's allergy season compilation 'Physically Sick Vol 2'.

After starting music production just last year with one sole piece of hardware (but DJing in NYC years before), these are some of the wildest songs in time. Malohne is a paris-based producer known for his two first tracks on Disques Flegon's first release: Buffet Froid. Malohne's music is now changing into a fine cocktail between deep house at its finest and raw sounds of today. In his new EP Boulevard Ouest, he drives his synth and crushed house sound in the future.

Derek Carr's ability to create soulful melodies that effortlessly wrap themselves around bouncy basslines and elegant beats is not only classy - it's classical. Derek Carr is not from the Detroit though.. he's an Irishman through and through, born and bred in Westmeath, about 3400 miles from The State of Michigan. Yet he absolutely nails it! After two decades of crafting his own sound with analogue synths and samplers with the music culture of Motor City as an inspiration, Derek Carr doesn't sound like anyone else. All the archetypical Detroit sounds are there - from the robotic bleeps in Binary Systems to the moody strings of Metro City - but Derek Carr uses them to create a primarily club oriented vibe, uplifting and positive.The Artwork for this album is made by Abdul Haqq, the legendary visual artist responsible for a great number of classic covers for artists and labels such as Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Transmat, Drexciya, Carl Craig, Planet E and Underground Resistance...

"Shatterdome", cut deep across the whole first side of this record, is a no-prisoners-taken club workout that comes of surprisingly lightheaded with a pushing low-end and dusky athmo-stabs. "Lola T70" is a late night car chase on cyber-highway, reminiscing THX-1138 leaving everything behind in the classic George Lucas sci-fi film: A state of floating acceleration and melancholy. "Say Hi to everyone" is signature.

On the flip is another original from a master of deep, spiritual music, Trinidadian Deep, and a remix fit for the club from Japanese producer Yuji Takenouchi Aka Mr.YT."

It's winter in Detroit and Fit Siegel has given us "Carmine", a moody techno classic perfect for the lonely season. Subtle, low-key and thumping, the title track revolves around a bittersweet piano lead, elegiac 303 and Blade Runner string swells. It's a high-tech driving song in the tradition of Model 500's low-key classic "Pick Up The Flow" and FIT sounds more assured than ever. "First Found" is Mills-ian jigsaw puzzle techno imbued with breathy and addictive humanity. Stacatto, free-jazz informed piano solos lock into ping-pong synths -- eventually, a female vocal emerges over a bed of arpeggiated bass. Loose yet robotic, "First Found" is first-rate Detroit techno mysticism. The record as a whole is a worthy entry into the Motor City's storied canon from a leader of the new school.

Losoul returns to action with his first long player in almost ten years, and delivers a stunning collection of compositions for the Hypercolour released 'Island Time'. Otherwise known as Peter Kremeier, the German producer has mesmerized us for many years with his organic and emotive house music, largely released on the influential Playhouse label, but of late has seen him release singles for Karat and Tardis Records, as well as his very own Another Picture label. Fans of Losoul won't be disappointed, as a diverse yet utterly familiar sound aesthetic pours out over the album's seven tracks in his own inimitable style. The jazzy broken beats of 'Gold Tooth' shine with their micro-sample chops, whilst 'Mean Time' is a dense and dubby slow stomp, teasing the drums with space echo and injecting sparse bass work where it matters. Inventive, spongy house grooves are delivered on 'Boppin Lower' and 'Square Down Smoother' whilst the album closer, 'Lava In You' is a master class in ambient sonics and shimmering keys over a lo-fi swinging groove. It's been over 20 years since Losoul's signature single 'Open Door', and the German producer continues to pour out honest and rewarding music.

Dancing queen and DJ based in Stockholm DJ Clea - debuts on Hot Haus Recs with an EP of South African inspired Scandinavian house cuts including a Bell Towers Remix.

Take The Time EP presents a collection of works by Jackson Almond that have been years in the making.

Produced through experimentation with a medley of old analogue gear, the EP is built with a library of sounds completely unique to Jackson.

As a result, these tracks are drenched in hazy, warm vibes that you won't hear anywhere else.

First record of the Jamn Ensemble.The record features 3 unique sounding Deep House cuts. The tracks are composed of subtle acid bass lines, Rhodes chords and Roland TR series beats. Idylle melody is played by vibes. Jamn Ensemble always keeps in mind acoustic instruments legacy.

Joe Lewandowski is another treasure discovered by the rising label Deep & Roll. The A side reminds us some 90's house diamonds: 'Where is' contains mesmerizing gospel vocals calling for love. 'Powa' has a more groovy vibe with patterns that bring us back to Chicago.
The B side opens with 'I Need To', a track recorded with Jazz singer Lili B. It shows a more melancholic and deep side of the Parisian DJ. The last track 'Lourd' explores the other influences of Joe Lewandowski with an Italo-Disco and leftfield techno feeling.

Following a slew of acclaimed remixes for the likes of Andhim, Sailor & I, DJ Dozia and Sebastian Mullaert and a one-off single with Joran van Pol, Voorn returns with a pair of stunning new tracks for his GREEN imprint.With this release I'm making a bridge between last year and this. Looks Fake Obviously is a dark haunting track with a sweet melody that slowly drags you into the light. Dawn (Green Mix) brings new life to a sound that I was once so familiar with, Detroit techno. Although this mix is more house than techno, it features characteristic melodies of the 90's Detroit sound that I loved when I started to make music around the year 2000. This is only the first of a few Detroit inspired tracks that will surface this year. House Music With Love return with another one of their fresh EPs, this time from the dream team of Kaldera and Lazarusman with remixes from Urmet K, SURAJ and Simina Grigoriu & Moe Danger.

Kaldera a producer from Northern Europe and Lazarusman a poet from Southern Africa and their rhythmic, spiritual journey always makes for real musical adventures. That is the case here with Oceans of My Mind, a deep, swelling house tune with great chords and a dark bassline. The thought provoking vocals drift up top as the turbulent grooves roll on and bring real class to the floor.

The Urmet K remix is more blissful and laid back, with breezy chords and gentle beats rolling you into a trance. SURAJ then layers in plenty of cosmic melody, gives centre stage to the poetic spoken world vocal which brings a romantic feel to the tune. Then last of all Simina Grigoriu & Moe Danger close things out with a more direct, techno leading version that has brilliantly frazzled chords and deriving drums taking you deep into an eerie night.

This is a versatile and vital EP that covers plenty of ground in real style.

Harry Lights Basement Dub brings a bit more heft to this heavy collection of tracks, pure driving House music whilst finishing the EP Replika's sample based slice of classic House On the Spot warms things up a tad, pitting washed out melody against a funked up groove.

VIDAB keeps on its quest of finding and releasing new and raw music. The 16th vinyl release of the Berlin based label, comes from Milan's 'Privat' residents Hiver with their debut production titled 'A Day' EP. Hiver's musical spectrum contains dark and distant elements, ranging from the darkest rhythms of dub-techno to melodic capturing lines. This can be evident in the two tracks on this single 'A Day' and 'Reduced' which convey their club experiences of moving a dancefloor in one solid package.

Hyperion became a cult hit in the underground scene during the last two years. The combination of warm melodies, grooving bassline and loud breakbeat is spot on and proves to provide for a timeless feel. That's why the record became more and more sought after and is going for big money on cogs, if one pops up that is. Gerd had to go through 500+ DAT tapes to retrieve original masters of the 4 tracks off this second It's Thinking EP he produced with two high school friends, Dirk & Mark, in the early 90's. It took us a while to prepare this package but finally here it is: remastered and sounding better than ever!

Multitalented musicians Johannes Brecht and Christian Prommer have collaborated on a release with a difference for respected Hamburg label Diynamic. 'Voix Grave' consists of an atmospheric classical composition from the pair, with an electronic version from each producer. The original composition features echoing drums, plucked violins and an emotive cello. Whilst it may surprise those who associate Diynamic with its more dancefloor-ready releases, the classical inclusion is a testimony to the label's forward-thinking approach.Berlin-based Christian Prommer has a long history of fusing his jazz and classical roots with his love of techno and electronica, with a career spanning over two decades and taking in boundary-pushing projects like Drumlesson. As a producer, he's previously released on the likes of !K7, Life and Death, Sonar Kollektiv and Buzzing Fly. Here, he makes his Diynamic debut with a version that perfectly fits within the label's sound; a fast-paced beat underpins the plucked strings of the original, utilised like synths. Featuring the original's mournful violin in the breakdown, the track builds to a dramatic peak. Meanwhile, Diynamic member Johannes Brecht, and his version has already proved to be a standout moment in label boss Solomun's recent sets. Running at a full 10 minutes in length, Brecht utilises this time to build up to waves of climactic moments whilst peeling back layers to reveal the original composition's melodies.
Voix Grave' as a package is an innovative project, with both versions accentuating the qualities of the original whilst providing genuinely club-appropriate takes on the record. It's further evidence of Diynamic's commitment to their creative vision, even as the label continues to expand to global proportions.

It is not a secret anymore that Manchester has been a Deephouse capital city since quite a while. The Meandyou. party series is the main spot here with resident DJs Juniper & Arnaldo amongst others spinning alongside their favourite Acts like Lowtec (whose track on Smallville 14 was already a homage called meandyou.dub), Jus-Ed, Dj Qu, Kassem Mosse, Move D and the Smallville Posse. For our catalogue number 30, Juniper & Arnaldo are delivering four house tracks from outta space, that fit perfectly into the smallville vein. The global village of sweet house music is rising..

Die skandinavischen Superstars Little Dragon veröffentlichen ihre brandneue 3-Track-EP - Lover Chanting' Mitte November auf Ninja Tune. Little Dragon wollten neue Musik veröffentlichen, die eine luftige und lustige Leichtigkeit hat. Die Geschichte hinter den Ursprüngen des Tracks ist so eigenwillig und abstrus, wie man es nur von einer Band erwarten würde, die ihre Karriere stets nach den eigenen Regeln verfolgt hat. - Es begann damit, dass Fred nach einem Hochzeitsmarsch gesucht hat, der von einem schwedischen Prog-Funk-Folk-Keyboarder namens Merit Hemmingson inspiriert war.', erklärt die Band in ihrem Göteborger Studiobunker. - Erik ließ sich vom Track leiten und fing schließlich an zu singen! Nachdem er seine Gesangsverse geschrieben hatte, machte sich Yukimi ein wenig Sorgen um seine lyrischen Fähigkeiten und begann, ihre Rolle in dem Song hinzuzufügen. Håkan flog derweil nach Deutschland, um ein schön gestimmtes Clavinet aufzunehmen. Nachdem dieses aufgenommen war, fügten Fred und Erik mit einigen Drums und tiefen Synthesebässen noch ihren eigenen Touch hinzu - und fertig war der Track!'.

Die EP - Lover Chanting' zeigt den nach vorne gerichteten Pioniergeist der Band, der den Status von Little Dragon als eine der beliebtesten Bands der Gegenwart gefestigt hat. Von frühen Kooperationen mit Gorillaz, SBTRKT, Kaytranada & Flume bis hin zu aktuellen Tracks mit Faith Evans, Raphael Saadiq und den bereits erwähnten Kooperationen mit BADBADNOTGOOD und Vic Mensa Anfang des Sommers inspirieren Little Dragon neben etablierten Ikonen auch eine ganz neue Generation von aufstrebenden Künstlerinnen und Künstlern.

LMYE first came to light in 2016 on Funkineven's Apron imprint with the LMYE EP, which quickly became a regular fixture at the London label's infamous parties and bbqs as well as with house DJs worldwide. Since then the pair have been relatively quiet, only appearing once on record, with a release for Bristol's Idle Hands in 2016.

The paucity of their output though belies a busy production schedule behind the scenes. Tracks from those sessions have surfaced occasionally in the sets of DJs like Shanti Celeste and Ben UFO but they have never seen the light of day on a full release until now.

As you would expect from their first releases, the self-titled LP treads a line between classic house and UK garage with a nod here and there to boogie and Latin freestyle, genres which have inspired their production techniques.

From barnstorming new jack house cut 'The Gift' to the classic UK funky sound of 'Hypnotized', LMYE have selected only the most weighty numbers at their disposal, with the aim of offering an LP that will catch the ear of those at every end of the house spectrum.

That's not to say that this is an LP of dancefloor-only cuts though. 'Long Island at Night', which features Bristol's Typesun and Adam Davies live in session, shows the softer, more musical side of LMYE's output. Meanwhile 'XTC Rising' is a uk garage cut with a classic edge which nevertheless still feels modern and up to date in its outlook.

In short, 'LMYE' collects the highlights of a number of years' work, with the aim of finding a home in the boxes of the most discerning and listeners for years to come.
