Side A's Never Rhythm Game is a bubbling cauldron of acid worms, almost seven steady minutes of liquid squelch and bleep riding on a rolling assortment of booming kicks and claps, all glued together by a droning string and soaring feedback modulation. Aimed for peak time, this big-room monster is built on a major chord that carries us to the perfect rave apex, and functions as a pivot from where DJs can steer into any subsequent direction. Side B's Team Player is equally poignant, yet in contrast to its optimistic predecessor, here we join in a dark mechanical affair that summons influence from a distant sci-fi metropolis - sophisticated metallic rhythms that are not polished but scrubbed with steel wool, and lead by a seductive robot that chants degenerate dancing instructions. These two songs will oil your engine and grease your gears.

Frits Wentink's label Bobby Donny welcomes back young US producer TLIM SHUG for a second EP after his last effort back in 2016. His house sound has developed nicely but remains resolutely deep and atmospheric.
It's the sound of a slow train on a warm summer's day, passing through the countryside and encourage you to daydream.
Warm, fuzzy pads drift by as muted Rhodes keys bring a jazz touch. Occasional clever vocal sounds ensure a certain intimacy and romanticism to the deep house grooves. It's a lo-fi and imperfect beatdown record with well-sampled drums adding a touch of soul.

Russian producer Nocow returns to Rekids with an enthralling full-length album entitled 'Atoner' this November.

Real name Aleksei Nikitin, Nocow is known for his versatility, producing a large body of genre spanning work on labels like Clone Royal Oak, Figure, Fauxpas Musik, Gost Zvuk and Styrax. The St. Petersburg-based producer debuted on Rekids last year with his 'Samaya Dolgaya Noch' EP, a mellow release complete with vocal driven cuts as well as 2-step rhythms, and now returns with a myriad of productions in a fourteen track album entitled 'Atoner'.

'Atoner' opens with an eponymous track that gently unravels with soaring synths and subtle percussion before Nocow's voice emerges alongside twinkling atmospherics in 'Complie'. Throughout the long player are also intricately produced short tracks sitting between the two and three-minute mark such as looping vocal number 'Dancerecter', the melodic and rattling 'Leto' and ominous 'Delore'.

Ostanovitsa' is a murky offering featuring a meandering organ riff, leading into the pitter-patter drums and serene chords of 'Starveme (feat. Tayut Ogni)'. 'Come Along' is a crystalline and otherworldly experience from start to finish, whilst 'Melting Lights' is comprised of echoing, subterranean sounds, making way for reverberating snares and metallic stabs in 'Standalone'.

Husky murmurs and soothing notes then make up 'Neva', moving into the syncopated beat and idyllic chord sequences in 'Can't Get Enough' ahead of 'Stonecold' and its icy aesthetic. Finally, the album reaches a mesmerising conclusion with the spellbinding 'Footer'.

For the first album on brokntoys, Rory McPike (Rings Around Saturn, Bleekman, 2200, Pickleman) puts the hammer down with a double pack of abstract and dancefloor excursions.

Oozing style, the Melbourne producer showcases a singular talent over 11 tracks, bridging frazzled new wave & pulsating techno via claustrophobic electronics.

Equally at home dragging bodies on to the floor (classy IDM-nodder 'Automatic Memory') as keeping them throbbing till sunrise (early-morning highlight 'Pulp Tech'), BT30 deftly connects the varied threads laid out by McPike over his previous EPs for Forbidden Planet, Unthank & Analogue Attic.

Crucially never feeling strained during its steps through styles, there's plenty here for the DJs and herbally-minded home-listening enthusiasts alike. One to sink into... 300 copies.

Rudder & Kresy join the Roots For Bloom camp with a cocktail of deep house cuts. The title track Stateless is emotional and grooving, with the likes of Maya Jane Coles picking up on it immediately. Its a track that has the ability to transport the listener elsewhere. To complete the A side Boulevard hits hard with an analogue baseline, pads and vocal swirls to induce a closed eyes, head down groove. Holdin On is everything dreamy and uplifting you need, with lush chords and vocal stabs with strings washing over throughout. Release myself sits more in line with the warm up hours or daytime drinks in the sunshine vibe. This EP covers a full spectrum and will cover many bases in a DJ arsenal.

For its second release, the French record label is delivering 4 house traxx from its founders Real J & Jus Jam (aka Jam For Real), Kerstone and a guest : Evolve. As always, the vinyl comes with a strong themed artwork with a hand drawn palm tree on the label.

On Away Forte cultivates soundscapes placed firmly between the body and the abstract, each track a testament to Forte's deep interest in sound design and sound textures, balancing drum machines and synths with percussion and swirling organic sounds.

the young and talented French producer, Labeuz, joins the Ondule Recs team for a first deep and groovy EP.
raw and smooth at the same time, Comme Tié Belle Nicole EP will let yourself be carried away in the classy universe of this very promising producer.

Recorded in the Autumn of 2017 at their studio in Vancouver's Deep Blue, MVX / U41A' is the first new music from Minimal Violence to be released on Ninja Tune's Technicolor imprint and the first to be recorded outside their usual home production space. The result is a record that intends to reduce pop music to its emotive qualities and apply that abstract nostalgia back into dance tracks. Their penchant for the heavier and more aggressive side of dance music is most evident in its infiltration of the duo's often raw and disorientating live set. Formed in 2015 the duo, consisting of Ashlee Luk and Lida P, have a string of releases to date with labels such as Lobster Theremin, 1080p and Jungle Gym Records. Drawing on Luk's years of experience playing in punk bands, they combine hardware sequencers, drum machines and synths, to weave together acid tinged compositions that derive inspiration from early electronic and minimal synth through to heavier UK rave and hardcore.

Rubisco is back in business with "Elevate" by Porter. This Berlin-based freshman proves his skills with three diverse cuts, serving up his deep, yet driving style.

The pampa, filled with enigmatic lines and geoglyphs known as Nazca, gives name to this record label.

Nazca Records was created to collect the music that Viracochas (beings of other worlds), shared with the ancient Nazca people, known for their love for music, dance and nature.

These recordings represent the music that was once played in another time and that will be played again in the future...They are the memories of the future.

Each vinyl and recording tells a story of the memories from each ceremony that took place in the Pampa Colorada, from music that was played, and of the figures and lines that the Nazcas used to show their gratitude to the Viracochas.
Maybe you're wondering how its possible or how we were able to capture those recordings in Nazca Records to then press to vinyl.

Terje Saether and Robert Solheim met at a party they both played at, clicked and started playing together. This soon lead to this; their rst collaboration. Dinky, Of Norway and Fredrik Bekkaasen loved the project and was happy to contribute with their remixes. This is the result, the EP 'Tres Hermanas'. The fourth sister, Dolores, disappeared along the way, but will hopefully return for the digital release. Finally the Four Hermanas will be reunited.

Copenhagen's Tartelet continues its 10 th anniversary with another an EP in their Limited Edition Series. This one finds Glenn Astro serving up five exclusive tracks on the 12". The EP takes inspiration from Keith Haring's celebrated Crack is Wack mural in New York, which was a reaction to the drug epidemic of the time. Only 250 copies will be released worldwide.

In a short space of time, Glenn Astro has cooked up his own unique musical world. He has released full-lengths on Ninja Tune alongside Max Graef, and recently on Apollo Rec, sister label of R&S, in conjunction with Hodini.

The opener 'Crack Is Wack' is a loose and live sounding jam with warm synth chords, alternating 808 drumpatterns and breaks. It has a celebratory feel as expressive keys and walking basslines take turns to take the lead and move things forwards. The feel good 'Der Langweiler' is a much slower and loveably lazy joint, incorporating a cosmic 808 drum groove mixed with arpeggiated Wurlizer chords and a grooving e-bassline sinking you deep into the late night groove.

On the flip and switching up the vibe again is 'Der Maschine', which has frazzled electronic synths next to wooden hits and a playfully distorted drum machine to make for something that brims and bristles with dance floor energy in inventive new ways.

'Boring Times On Beleuse Five' is a tripped out sci-fi track with percolating drums and heavenly chords. It's sparse and dynamic but with a compelling rhythm. 'Discomania' is an exclusive and vinyl-only cover version of Piero Umiliani's eponymous electronic disco classic, is a gorgeously spaced out disco instrumental with expressive keys, drums and percussion all adding up to something impossibly infectious.

This is another remarkable EP of effortlessly fused sounds, showcasing Glenn's new steps exploring cosmic and electronically driven aesthetics.

Clark St is the big hotter here with powerful stabs and synth lines and that ever present prominent low end that Roots For Bloom is becoming known for. The whole EP carries a 90's twang but brought very much up to date in great style.

Sean Miller makes a triumphant return to Seth Troxler's Play It Say It imprint with a new single that has already been getting played by tastemakers like Luciano. In addition to the original, K'Alexi Shelby serves up a fine remix that makes this another vital package.

Canadian producer Miller last released on this label in 2016 with Tiger Spirit, and has also put out essential tunes on labels like Supernature, Ovum and most recently Cadenza. Always making music with integrity and soul, he's been active since 2003 and had plenty of Beatport hits in his time. This new release is sure to be another.

Entitled 'Birds Do It,' the track is seven big and explosive minutes of exuberant drums and tribal percussion. Meandering bird calls burrow deep into your brain and the rawest of hits add drive and edginess to this supersized house tune. All in all, it's destined to blow up even the largest festival crowds this summer.

Remixer K-Alexi is a true Chicago great. He's been at the core of the scene since the eighties and releasing his raw grooves on DJ International, Trax and Transmat, as well as his own K Klassik label. His standout version is a flurry of drums and percussion, smashing hi hats and bobbling kicks. Tight melodies rain down and unrelenting pressure builds in the drums to make sure that crowd will be driven utterly out of control.

This is a brace of brilliantly destructive and forward looking house tunes and another fine marker for both Sean Miller and Play It Say It.

New Belters straight out of Barvaria! In a nice bit of serendipity, our old pal Bostro Pesopeo (BLTRS010) introduced us to his Barvarian buddies, Dominik Marz & David Kochs. Who subsequently sent us some outstanding new music that we signed on the spot and for the first outing, we're very happy to complete the circle with a remix by Bostro himself. With early support from the likes of Ame - who has seemingly been playing the whole release - you're sure to be hearing a lot more of these youngsters in the coming years.

Unscene Record's debut 12-inch release, 'Theme of Roman EP', features three modernistic tracks from Grecian artists
Kostas Georgoudis and Alex Dimou (in a B-side collaboration). A1-Theme Of Roman (Original Mix) initiates the quest by
creating minimalistic soundscapes of a cinematic nature, translating to listeners as a prismatic chemistry of iridescent
textures, dub, and pitch-shifted voices. A2-Palouse (Original Mix), provides a discourse between vintage aesthetics and
futuristic dynamism, rendering a more abstract and atmospheric composition. On the flip side, track B1-Mozy (Original Mix)
demonstrates a steady rhythmic bass construction complimented by high-hat variations, while giving rise to a primordial
sense of movement and full bodied grooves.
Wholly, 'Theme of Roman EP' delivers a cohesive collection of original mixes, all of which stem from various parts of the
deep house/ tech house/ minimal techno spectrum.

After contributing a smashing remix to the first release on blank, UK producer Kalyde is coming back to the emerging German imprint with a fantastic EP of his own. Growing up in Detroit, he never got involved with electronic music until he went to university in Bristol, where he honed his production and DJ skills before resettling in London. Not long after that crucial step, an impressive string of releases followed on great labels like Skint, Madtech, Avotre and Roush. Kalyde has rapidly advanced to be one of the most exciting new talents in the UK's modern house & techno scene, and also has become a sure shot on DJ sets of big players from the likes of Annie Mac, Loco Dice, Eats Everything and many more.

Kalyde is famous for his fantastic ability to provide a huge energy boost without getting reckless, no matter if at one of his legendary extended DJ sets or in the studio cooking up the next big dancefloor banger. The Clone EP on Blank is the perfect representation of this sentiment. Every single track is a bona fide floor filler designated to land in the crates of the best house & techno DJs on the planet. The title track explores Kalyde's very own vision of acid house, combining a frenetic bassline with his infallible energetic signature.

Next up is the absolutely fascinating track Omulate', which features a highly hypnotic voice sample and recalls the dark uplifting feeling of immortal Detroit classics. With the last original cut on the EP White Shadow', the young producer delivers another acid techno stomper, this time taking a drift to darker musical spheres. Closing this massive EP, the UK techno veterans Mak & Pasteman step up for a unique remix treatment of Omulate', mutating this track into a huge techno bomb prepared to cause serious damage on big, dark dancefloors all around the world.

For the first release of Low Frequency Foundation, Ander has prepared a triple treatment that honours this special occasion.
The story told in "Da drin hetts" is of illegal parties in Zurich, as told by an astounded first timer. Driving percussions combined with a solid bassline make this a hymn to the Zurich club culture. "Canter" takes you on a different kind of ride, relaxed, grounded, perfect for early morning relaxation after some pushy tracks. "Running out" builds up tension again and surprises with off-guard synth lines and a some eerie vocals.
Perfect for setting the mood and building pressure at half past one.

Cédric K Gasaïda aka Starving Yet Full (singer of former Canadian band Azari & III) and Victor Karzalov (half of Russian duo BYPASS), are about to release their first vinyl EP, Drawn 2 U, under the moniker BLENT, on newly launched French label Empirical Magnetism.

Swinging between dub- & deep-techno, minimal and deep-house, BLENT's Drawn 2 UA-Side, lulled by Starving Yet Full's androgynous vocals, is the kind of song that is gut-wrenching to the listener, taking the audience to a dimension overflowing with deep and dark sexual feelings.

On the B-side, Ali X (also a member of the late Azari & III) is delivering a rather sinister and haunted techno remix — distinguishing himself nicely from the original, whereas French band dOP unveils a fairly more melodic and dancefloor-oriented interpretation while keeping the essence of what makes Drawn 2 U so unique.

We're finishing 2015 with what is pretty much a mini LP by Borrowed Identity, an inspired producer based in Freiburg.
There's a lot here and we think you should just listen to and enjoy the record, draw your own conclusions, but what we will say here is the A is ballsy house and the B is tough techno that touches on trance occasionally. Get why it's called The Contrast

This is Cómeme bringing more hot rhythms to the dancefloors of 2017 and beyond - this time starring Charlotte Bendiks from Tromso, Norway with her smashing and generous EP: 'Hidden Tracks' - the first Cómeme EP produced north of the polar circle! Charlie is a spaced out chica doing dark humour techno hotness - scared and attracted by encounters with ghosts and ghouls, lost souls, insomnia and aurora borealis frenzy - these mystical experiences drive her to do her own take on physical dancefloor pleasure and pain, spinning records or playing live alongside Jon-Eirik Boska, who also features on this 12'.

Let's dive into a parallel world of gothic ukuleles, isolated villages and their myths, juvenile silliness and arctic deepness.

This one rounds off the nervous and flippant, overwhelming energy of Frag Maddin's beat and chord worx while bowing down to his funk, rap and house-routines. Bullish is an agile fighter. Beware - or you miss some of the punches coming in!

This ceremony churns the goods from the very depths. Classic house in a raw, bassy, dirty warehouse manner. Seering vocals keeping the tension and demanding synths that slowly but surely unfold th energy - like boiling water opens the teabud!

B1: Point 0
A track that serves a basic backbone to the array of tunes here. Classic house, bowing down to Kakudo's Records beloved early nineties. Every sound a puncturing pressure point again. Machine grooves hammer home the message of this EP that has no fillers but offers raw fun(k) throughout!

B2: De Wizard
Quirky, flirtatious, somewhat trancy chords fly on high. While reminiscent Detroit sounds feed your brain and the bass tickles your guts. De Wizard's recipe is to conjure things in time. Take yours and observe, for building up tension is clearly one of Frag Maddin's best tricks!
