Luca Lozano and Telephones collaborate on a new concept record for Klasse Wrecks, the concept it simple...1 Record, 2 Artists, 4 Trax! Turning in an original track each the two producers then remix each other resulting in a record that glistens with housey goodness, jazzy hats and snazzy stabs.

Both sides of the vinyl are cut as continuous sides.

Cologne based FEINES TIER imprint presents the second catalog number with ALEJANDRO CASTELLI from Berlin. His NATURAL EP features two original tracks which go by the the name of Peru and Natur. Co-producer is a well known traveling man called NU. Peru is a stomping up tempo piece of sweeping music that blows you off your dirty dancing feet. The second title Natur slows us down a bit and makes us dream of long and warm summer days. It contains a heartwarming vocal sung by his grandma and combines classical South American sounds with a catchy tune. On the flip side you'll find hip shaking remixes by Dutch live animal SATORI and a lovely couple from northern Germany called JUST EMMA. The cover picture is painted by

Long before the rise in interest in African music, British electronica producer Bob Holyroyd was making tracks rich in traditional instrumentation. "African Drug" is, undoubtedly, the most famous of these. Originally released as a single in 1994, the intensely melodious, Steve Reich-esque work has been remixed numerous times over the years. This latest edition arrives on Joaquin "Joe" Clausell's Sacred Rhythm label, with profits going to charities that work to save Africa's endangered Rhino. The A-side contains a freshly mixed and re-mastered version of Holroyd's brilliant original - which brilliantly increases in intensity with the addition of tribal drums two thirds of the way through - with a more percussive, pleasingly hallucinogenic Clausell remix on the flip. In a word: essential.

Like changing the channel, changes in one's life can suddenly bring about a new perspective. After moving from Detroit to Seattle, producer Taylor Hawkins suddenly found himself on Flora FM. Previously recording as Community Corporation, this fresh beginning in Emerald City brought new sounds into Hawkins' repertoire. Where he was once surrounded by cheap boogie and disco records in Detroit, Seattle's used bins were full of UK imports, early 90s ambient techno records and the IDM that followed. These new influences injected judicious breakbeats and top notch electro sensibilities into his already adventurous Midwest techno aesthetic.

It's as if his music has come alive, each song a new sound world abuzz with fluttering synths, nimble percussion, and soaring melodies. Recorded as single live takes using an MPC to control his drum machines and synthesizers, the Flora FM music flowed quickly from Hawkins and needed only gentle edits. The eight tracks on his digital debut album, Discovery in the Atomic Garden, document his experience finding his way in Seattle and in life, all through the lens of a fantastic and somehow futuristic musical viewpoint. The vinyl-only EP Atomic Garden includes four of the album's most danceable tracks, all wrapped in gorgeous artwork by Patrick Savile

Claussell returns to his African trove LP from 2015 Makussa and gives one of its many highlights "Walondo" two more fresh chapters on this limited 45". Still as powerful, spiritual and uplifting, it now comes with a Vokal version where the golden harmonies purr through the mix to sit right centre pew while his Sacred Rhythm stamp can be found coded into the euphoric drive and relentless dancefloor uplift on the B. Beautiful.

'Runs so deep it puts your butt to sleep", to paraphrase actor/musician Ice Cube in his seminal hit It Was a Good Day. And it is a good day for lovers of high-grade house music. Szikra is Kornél Kovács at his most wistfully nostalgic. Ultra-smooth keys offset by noisy lo-fi breakbeats and vocals urging you to git fucked up, like Metro Area caught up... in smoke! All the trademark sounds of the Barnhus massive are present - off-kilter playfulness paired with the cocky swagger of a south Stockholm roughneck and an infectious pop sensibility that lingers in your head long after the needle hits the inner groove. The so-called Bónusz Beat is actually a track in its own right, sacrificing most of the hook and the vocals for a dubby smackdown ripe for adventurous dancefloors. Young Stockholm producer Abdulla Rashim closes out the set with a perfectly horizontal techno groove, using only elements from the original production.

London's Silverlining continues the series with an EP of fresh tracks from his new West Norwood studio. Written on the road, during the Summer of 2017, between the backwoods of Canada and the hills of Southern Spain, these tracks were then re-patched and mixed down on almost the same set-up as his 90s productions that have defined this label.

Break out Belgian house producer Sjef Wanders follows recent heavily supported appearances on New York's Nurvous Records and 124 Recordings with Don't Front, a two track 12" primed for club play on the Deso Records label. "Don't Front" is deep and dubby house music emboldened by banging low end and it's well complemented by a remix from label owner Desos. The Dane takes things deep in typical fashion, adding a little New Jersey swing and flavour to proceedings .

For This Release, They Are Joined By South African Producer Jakinda & Cologne's Christian S (cómeme). Jakinda Forms Half Of The Duo Stiff Pap And Describes His Sound As Afro-future Electronica, A Sound Containing Elements Of Gqom, Tribal-house, Ethiopian Electronica And Kasi-tech. Christian S Makes Use Of His Distinguishable Style And Creates The Most Abstracted Version Of This Track, Not Scared To Heavily Cut Up The Vocals And Apply His Pitched Drums. In Addition, The Release Is Hand-stamped With A Drawing By Nonku.

Zoo Lab is proud to present the first vinyl and for this, they have decided to focus on the italian duo Dubfluss which have already released in labels like Moan, Serkal and Bla Bla Music, Yoruba Grooves and more. "Sumobooth" and "Falser Lullaby" reflect their typical minimal dub style, rich of synth, variations and vocals. Two tracks are finely worked to have a great impact in the dancefloor. Near them, there are two very characteristic remixers who have proposed their own versions of "Sumobooth": Arado ( Desolat-Moon Harbour ) with a strong techno version played around the world, from India to Germany, and Neverdogs (Moan-Music On), with a classic tech style version played during Music On parties at Amnesia Ibiza.

Folamour has worked under a number of different aliases and makes poetic music. As a DJ he has lit up dance floors all over France, and he also runs the FHUO Records label. This new nine track LP is the start of a busy year that promises more music on Church and Defected, all after some fine outings on labels like Fauxpas Music and All City Records. The excellent album is an ode to his love of Japanese culture and mixes up beats and house samples, disco swing and future jazz in ways that work both in the club and your living room.

The warm and musical 'Night of Desirable Objects' kicks things off with loose jazz chords, shuffling beats and welcoming moods that come from smart vocal samples. It's a brilliantly heartfelt opener that makes way for the slowed down grooves of 'Y'all Right.' Trumpets, live drums and gorgeous chords all exude genuine soul and funk, and 'Petit Prince Du Macadam' is an exquisite hip hop beat that echoes the great Dilla.

Elsewhere, 'Ivoire' is a big, afro-tinged cut with bouncy drums and vocals as well as party-starting percussion. 'Look at Me or I'll Steal Your Eyes' then pulls back to perfect loops of funky guitar, trilling chords and organic drum work. Like much of the music here, the loveably rough style of Moodymann is a big presence in this one. French filter styles characterise the sunny disco influenced grooves of 'Devoted to U', 'Oyabun' is a blissed out bit of romantic house, 'Kickflipin' That Stuff' is another gorgeous hip hop interlude weighed down by hot soul and 'Jah Love' is a masterfully melodic piece with splashes of cymbal, brilliant key playing and jazz drums that find their way into your heart.

The Passage EP brings together two of the chief champions of far reaching sounds in AYBEE, and Lars Bartkuhn. Bartkuhn best known for his work with his iconic (NEEDS) imprint, and AYBEE for his boundary pushing ethos at (Deepblak). A project spawned of mutual love, and respect the two met at an impromptu jam performance at the Xjazz Fest where the seeds were planted for further collaboration. Committed to stretching out beyond tight parameters they sought to capture the spirit of the dance. As "The Astral Walkers" they set out to combine the fearless freedom of the Jazzfunk era with the endless possibilities within electronic music.

"Swiss electronic artist Marco Repetto is the chromatic brain behind Bigeneric musical project and has a strong background in the burgeoning scenes of minimal synth (Grauzone with Stephan Eicher), early techno (Synectics on Aphex Twins Rephlex imprint) and ambient (Planet Love on Superstition).
After more than 15 years, Marco is now back with an entire 2x12'' Album on cult label Moto Music, the Zurich imprint where he released his first Bigeneric 12''. ""The Compilation"" is a huge recap of his lost and unsigned tapes between his probably most creative time as IDM artist.

Our fourth 12" vinyl release, again a full 4 track artist EP, comes from young dutchman Cleanfield. Relatively unknown at the start of this year, we listened to his demo's and signed them on the spot for a vinyl release. They are really that good, and fall into the same category as the output of Fouk, Nachtbraker, and more..... While waiting on the production of this release he's made quite the entry as newcomer on the deephouse, nu-disco scene with a first digital release on Delve Deeper, that's still doing really well in the charts. We're really excited to release these super funky, groovy tracks on beautiful black wax.

It has been over five years since Nick Ho¨ppner left his position as A&R and label manager of Ostgut Ton, the Berghain inhouse label, he had not only founded, but also steered through it's most creative and influential years. Touch From A Distance is his new label, this time 100% his own. For the label debut Ho¨ppner enlisted the extraordinary talents of Desert Sound Colony from London. His outstanding skills at sound design, composition and arrangement have now culminated in his Fast Life EP for Touch From A Distance. The four tracker presents DSC at his most focussed and versatile, constantly shapeshifting between the rich, bass heavy UK heritage and Continental-European traditions of dancefloor minimalism. Opener - Fast Life' is as huge as it gets: an undercurrent of electro breaks and a giant bass line push the track forward while celestial melodies elegantly provide contrast and relief. Next up is - Somehow I Talk', a minimal banger not only displaying Desert Sound Colony's tongue-in-cheek humour, but also his incredible inventiveness in the studio. Deceptively simple at first listen, the track reveals an abundance of smart arrangement ideas keeping you locked all the way. The way the vocals twist and bend here is just breathtaking. On the flip, - Finger Flies' ramps up the tempo and the syncopation for a bass heavy chunk of fun loving beat science, before - Glixen' closes the ep featuring Desert Sound Colony's friend Baby Rollen who helps to steer the track's bouncing funk into deeper realms.

Fountain of Chaos lives in a self-built cabin in the woods. He plays ethnic instruments and electronic devices in various collaborative projects. Fountain Of Chaos isn't very well known outside his land, but his DJ sets in the wild nature are the stuff of local legend. Primitive Megalopolis is jungle and darkness. Amaniyak Kree is wild percussions and guerrilla.

Jimpster's last release Burning Up showed a slightly different string to his bow, delivering a driving electronic jam which married a speaker wobbling analogue bassline with jacking, disco-tinged beats. While we wait for the remix package which includes stunning interpretations from Bawrut, Charles Webster and Telfort he has been busy cooking up three original tracks which make up the Curve EP.

The title track keeps things sweet and smooth with floating synth lines and punctuating stabs riding a trademark Jimpster bassline. As it develops he introduces a classic chord riff lifting the energy and cranking up the feel-good factor making for a unique and musical mood- setter which will get well and truly under your skin.

Next up we have The Sweetness Of That Song which keeps things on a jazz tip with Rhodes chords, Juno pads and a funked-up bassline working the their magic. Jimpster has a knack for making things appear deceptively simple whilst introducing subtle elements and more complex lines and textures to keep the interest but without cluttering the raw, house groove.

Finally, things get ultra blissed-out on Simmering Down where dense layers of stuttering pads build upon each other forming a beautiful wall of sound, snatches of voice drifting into focus for a fleeting moment before disappearing into the ether. A dream-like mood but with a powerful low end and precision groove ensuring this one will hold it's own on discerning dance-floors out there.
