[I] LEMONGRASS - BEHIND THE SCENES (FEAT. JANE [] MAXIMOVA)

[T] FIVE SEASONS - FLEETING MOMENTS (FEAT. JANE [] MAXIMOVA)

Not only is mike "father of the year", but he also has records. Deep crates, as they say. Mike Feel Love will keep the chin scratchers at bay for a while, seeing as the original track has zero internet presence. It will also keep the dancers happy. A scrappy little edit keeping the sloppy instrumentation in tact , because it's the best part of the song. Drums fall out of time , or drop out altogether. The synth arps fall out of synch which makes you wonder if that's an arpregiator, or some maniac playing live. The other side is a very old edit mike dusted off and is guaranteed to make the chin scratchers take a bathroom break- seeing as it is a top 40 hit from the 70s. Which doesn't mean it's not a burner.

Double-LP on metallic silver vinyl. Music on sides 1, 2 & 3. 4th side laser-etched engraving.

Outofstock returns with another release, this time a two-tracker from Timofti which is well known as being a part of Audiotheque. After the great reception that followed after the premiere of this label, it was a tough job to have any material at least close to that one, but Timofti lived up to the expectations and produced some of the most attracting sounds you would hear lately.
"Storyline" is the masterpiece of the A-side, an extremely well-balanced tune with an appealing, low vocal part and an edgy bassline is as good as it comes. Unpredictable, but amazing, the track is sophisticated due to the quirky percussions and spacey hats, all of them in perfect place to offer a unique vibe. A linear product, according exactly to the Romanian sound that is so highly appreciated lately, this one is definitely going to make a mark for years to come due to its complexity and real value.
The B side contains a contrast because of the "Blue Effect", a more darkish concept that inserts the idea of the sea, both with its title and with an astonishing depiction through sound, a truly artistry composition that can induce you in the musicians perspective. The basline is the root of this image, with an aggressive but deep approach, also completed by some acoustic elements that go beyond the usual aspects, delivering a new insight of Timofti.

Mana All Nite #4 contains personal favourites, killer edits and tracks from across 3 decades. (A1 previously released on Klang Elektronik in 1999). This selection is a fine roundup of what's been shaking Manamana aka Map.ache & Sevensol over the past 10 years of DJ-ing & hanging out together.

With releases from Lerosa, Andy Mac and Piezo already under our belts, Idle Hands strides towards the summer with a transmission from a kindred spirit across the pond. Area, sometimes known as m50, has been flying the flag for forward thinking electronic music in Chicago for a long time. His radio shows on WNUR have a distinctive quality one step to the side of the music his hometown is best known for, while his label Kimochi Sound has released incredible music from the likes of Benjamin Brunn, Strategy and many more besides.

As a producer Area has been equally prolific since first emerging in 2007. From Ethereal Sound and Steadfast to UntilMyHeartStops and Sequencias, his various approaches to rhythm and texture are all bound together by a meditative quality that feels like a perfect fit for Idle.

On this single, both sides of the 12" continue the theme of dusty, dusky 4/4 Area is most widely known for, locking on to a house groove while sporting the abstract atmosphere of techno. "Rlgl" is an understated, emotional heater that uses looped up fragments as a counterpoint to the more lilting strings and static that bed the track. "Notice" takes a more overtly melancholic approach with its lingering, heavily processed keys that drift in between a tough set of drums. There's a punch to the track that will translate beautifully to a big system, even as the melodics spell out a more intimate listening experience.

Bilal's voice has always been a source of inspiration for Boddhi Satva as a producer. His voice, tone and range carry a unique vibration that resonates deeply. Love Will' is testimonial to the guiding light of Love and faith. It is a song of inspiration which allows us to look within ourselves as only the soul knows'. COSMIC TEMPLE is the new project of Daniele Baldelli that will include 6 12's released over the course of a few months. The 6 records will graphically compose the COSMIC logo.

Daniele Baldelli the producer now has nothing to envy about Daniele Baldelli, the DJ. This is demonstrated by the authoritativeness of the first two 12's of six in the series "Cosmic Temple' on the Mondo Groove label. What first strikes the eye are the covers, with fluorescent colors, which will form a patchwork created by Aldo Drudi (the designer of Valentino Rossi), a large mosaic that interprets garish aesthetics/logoa Cosmic. But immediately after the music takes the stage, 3 tracks in "Chapter 1" and 3 tracks in "Chapter 2", are able to tell the true mood of the imaginary Baldelli's sound and take them to a land of wonders. Numbers like Thyratron, with Ricky Burattini (Justofunk) on the floor, playing a utopian fusion as if Peter Daou was weaned at Cosmic in Lazise (Italy) instead of the Paradise Garage in New York, or Inner Light, Francesca Amati with the voice, which is pure 2015 electro-pop, the rhythmic bass on Diffrazione and the phrasing of Zircaloy, and still that yin and yang that composed Krebs Cycle, with Burattini on synth, a race horse deep disco at 120 bpm that goes into stratospheres, and Afelio, a lethargic space ballet at 90 bpm...

Hailing from Chicago's South Side, the duo Dar Embarks lives in a world of underground techno and machines. Their debut album, FLEER EP, was recorded live on hardwares, no keys were played, just the pressing of buttons and turning of knobs. Gathering its inspiration from records on the shelf, sci fi and comics, Dar Embarks remains steadfast in technotic efforts to interpret the future...our future.

When someone drops a CD in, and says "I've recorded a couple of tracks, that I would like to put on on vinyl, would be up for distributing them " " One of them is not finished yet though, I just need to put some trumpets on it", well your expectations are not particularly high. It's a wonder that it even made it on toThe record flew out the door.Few months later we pressed a 12 for him on P&D deal. It didn't sell as well, which is often the way with records we love.

Fast forward few years.. I got a call from the 'No Trumpet Man' aka FAKE LEFT, who had another couple of tracks he'd done. My first thoughts were, sorry afraid we can't help out this time... then had a listen, second thoughts were.. Fuck Aye, these have got to go out. So here they are.

RAD-TRUMPET1 - as you'll see on the scribe.. well there is the story. When we sent this off to master, we were not sure what the catalogue number would be. So the files were titled Rad Trumpet.. with a view to updating before the lacquers were cut and test presses done. Of course we forgot, and only realised when the test presses came back as RAD-TRUMPET.. and I'm left having to explain to Graeme via these notes that he is 'affectionately' known here as Trumpet Man.

So RAD-FAKE we'll let the music speak for itself.. and not a trumpet in sight. Oh apart from the stamp.. but that's another more politically based story.

Yoruba Records is proud to welcome back Toto Chiavetta for the release of his debut album, 'Impermanence', split on vinyl format over two 12's. Hailing from Catania, Sicily, Toto is known for his deep, techy, and often moody dancefloor-ready jams. This album wastes no time getting down to business, with 'Impermanence' (Part 1) opening with 'Tenor': a chunky, deep tech tune lead by a beautiful tenor sax ensuring this one will make waves in the coming months. Highlighting his flexibility in the studio, Toto's 'Revolution Has Come' is a soulful and funky house jam featuring smooth, groovy basslines and slick guitar riffs, sure to set the mood. We couldn't be more proud to offer this debut album, one that highlights Toto's growth as an artist while maintaining a strict focus on the dancefloor. DJs and listeners alike will find these tunes well suited for the late night hours, listen and enjoy!

Frontman and resident DJ Alex Neri is back for the 64th release presenting his 'Anniversary EP' to celebrate 35 years of the infamous club in Florence.Alex wanted to celebrate his personal influences and devotion to the roots of house music touching on several aspects that influenced his career over the years with the first track All around. The release is a strong mix between raw old sounds and classic house touches all with his trademark pumping basslines and classic house vibes. The second track on the A side is a remix of All Around by well-known artist Kevin Knapp (Hot Creations, Mother Recordings, VIVa Music). The B Side kicks off with Ruffness a hypnotic dirty groove, perfect for those moments of hysteria early in the morning on the dancefloor.Rounding off the EP is Rebel, based around a synthesizer sample it takes you back to the past thanks to the live structure in the way it was recorded with no added FX.

'We're very proud to present this new single on Help! The A-side, Gratitude, is a track recorded in 2014 by DJ Central in Rubber Studios, Aarhus. If it wasn't for the support and encouragement of fellow Regelbau-homies Kasper Skov and DJ Sports, this piece of energetic dancemusic wouldn't have seen the light of day. The long, vivid, ambient penta-tune on the 2nd face was recorded during same summer in Amsterdam by Ask Your Hands (Tobias Sachse, KAAP, Bobby van Putten, DJ Sports and Central). Releases like this don't thread everybody's needle but we're gonna throw it against the wall and see if it sticks.'

New release by Innervisions veteran Culoe De Song.

Teamed up with Running Back for a vinyl release, Bubbletease Communications' releases are defiantly infrequent, reflecting boss man Maurice Fulton's desire to only release personal projects and those he's somehow had a hand in. Given Fulton's track record, this approach guarantees a high quality threshold; in truth, Bubbletease releases are rarely less than excellent. This four-tracker from Tokyo-based DJ Nori, co-produced by Fulton, is predictably impressive. There's a touch of melancholic, acid-flecked stargazing in the shape of 'Spaceg' (all heady synth melodies, fuzzy bass and 808 cowbells), some out-there, beatless space calypso (the unwieldy 'We Don't Know"), and a mighty chunk of Syclops-ish wonk-jack ("80s Drugs"). Oh, and a moody, Detroit-influenced Fulton remix of 'Happy Sunday' that breaks into a space disco jam near the end.

have a nice day

Raam is putting out records in a steady pace and has already reached Raam 006. On this EP Raam is diving deeper into the deep house universe and the production and sound quality is immaculate.
The EP opens with Titled, which is the perfect marriage between that warm deep bass-line, rolling percussion and fragile and wobbly chords.

With the tracks Const & Austre Raam digs even deeper into a raw and analog territory that he has been curating skillfully for quiet some time.
As always on the Raam imprint there is always and uptempo gem that fits perfectly into any peak hour set. This time in the shape of a remix delivered by Qnete (Lobster Theremin, 777 etc) He has redesigned the track Const into an acidic banger, that starts deep to end up in an frantic acidic peak, before returning back to the deep lushness.

La Freund Recordings presents a new EP from Amsterdam based producer and modular synth enthusiast Sjamsoedin. Three varied tracks and two heavy remixes by Simon Weiss (Rush Hour / Voyage Direct) and Claude (a.k.a. Fulgeance) form the new label's second release.Sjam Sjamsoedin has been around the electronic music scene for over fifteen years, releasing music under various aliases. Since 2011 Sjamsoedin has been experimenting with a deeper and warmer sound built around strong grooves, combined with his love for (modular) synths and effects. Orion is Sjamsoedin's first full length EP under his own name. While "The Drums" and "Pastel" find their inspiration in the Chicago house sound of the good old days, "Orion" has more of a lush electronica vibe to it. Both remixes add a heavier sound to complete the well rounded EP.

BSS Records returns with the second in a series of VA compilations entitled 'Percussive Parameters'.
After successfully launching the series last year, showcasing both emerging and established artists and topping Juno's Vinyl Chart, this one's set to cause a stir. First up is Troy Gunner, an artist with a wealth of experience and a diverse arsenal of club focused records to his name. 'Pleading' shows Troy's deeper, more melodic side with atmospheric pads and vocals layered around an intelligent, driven percussive array.
As the track progresses, a hypnotic and compelling synth is introduced that draws the listener further in, cementing Troy's intuitive abilities in the studio.
Next up are head honchos Silas & Snare, who deliver a certified club weapon. 'Memories' starts unassuming, mesmerizing and innocuous, before launching the listener into a rolling, dubbed out cut destined to open and close sets across the world's sound systems. On the flip, we bring two exciting and emerging UK producers, Agrippa and Yak, both delivering their debut 12" offerings. Kicking things off is 'Ziplash', a drum workout that demonstrates Agrippa's ability to manipulate percussion and sub to the highest caliber, with thunderous claps and kicks weaved over intricate beats and samples.
Finally, and as the name suggests, 'Showdown' is a menacing cut of club weight destined for low ceilings and late nights, with a relentless sub and inimitable groove throughout!
As ever, we'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone supporting our music, ideas and artists.

JackBeat and Deep House maverick D'Marc Cantu (already on notable imprints like M>O>S, Creme Organization, Spectral Sound, Bopside, Sequencias...) teams up with Paolo Iocca, RA-1 head honcho, for a split EP that is more than your average DJ Tool. Deeply nested minimalistic melodies, squelching bleeps over jacking grooves, afro-centric percussions and overall cosmic eccentricities, the pair explores numerous varieties of sounds and rhythms with manic artisanship. A record you can both throw at your upcoming party or listen to in perfect solitude.

South London House label GIANT RECORDS offers up its eighth release. After a chance meeting on a London bus Grant and David got talking about House music and the result followed in David sending Grant these two wicked cuts, which were signed immediately - David Beiger's DREAM FACTORY EP is ladened with twists and turns of cinematic Tech funk - Two original cuts here from German born David - SURFACE and DREAM FACTORY, the later coming with a remix from GRANT DELL - Grants take on DREAM FACTORY is a heavy blend of Tribal work outs, shaka zulu chants and shouts with some heavy sub-bass to boot - Featuring excerpts from MUTABARUKA'S the Poem.

Many of the problems Africa faces are a result of outside interference by other countries, and as the 21st century progresses we will see the continued pillage of African resources to feed the global capitalist machine on an unprecedented scale. Corrupt and greedy regimes gladly sell their land and mineral wealth to finance their own extravagant lifestyles while the vast majority of ordinary people see little or no improvement in their own lives. An autonomous Africa run by the people for the people, where African land is predominantly used to feed African people and Africa's vast wealth of resources is used to benefit the people of Africa seems the only logical way forward. Autonomous Africa's goal is to highlight this message and here presents to you 4 tracks of African inspired grooves.

We fully realise a small run, independently released 12" is going to make very little difference to the world, but doing something has to be better than doing nothing. The idea of an autonomous Africa may be naive and unrealistic, but at some point the world we live in will have to change or future generations are going to be left with very little as we consume way more than our fair share. We have collectively buried our heads in the sand thinking we are powerless to engender change. Individually we have little power but collectively, the power is ours.

Oberst & Buchner are next up on Freeride Millenium and the two Bavaria born, Vienna based producers deliver an EP that offers their interpretation of what 'modern summer togetherness sounds like.' The talented pair started making music together aged 15 and aim to cook up emotionally driven jams. They do so on labels like Heimlich, Underyourskin Records, Schönbrunner Perlen, Lokd, and always get the juices going, as they do once again here. Beginning with the brilliant 'Greg' we dive into a breakbeat bath of summery chords as playful claves dance on the horizon. It is a melodically rich track with spiritual feelings that really bliss you out. On the moodier 'Emile' night time arrives and warm chords mix with jangling, organic glass and percussive tinkles that reflect rays of light. It's a perfectly jazzy and loose number that really suspends you in a rueful place. Last but not least, 'Embrace' is a fluid intergalactic convention with sparse drum kicks weighed down by sombre synths. A skittish, dubstep style groove then comes in and elevates the track with gentle guitar licks and slithering synths adding colour, and overall it has the same zoned out feel as a thousand-yard stare. This is a brilliant mood EP that mixes up the synthetic with the organic, creating some fascinating grooves as a result. The release once again features original artwork from the ever talented Daniel Rajcsanyi. Thanks for purchasing a real copy!

Pete Dafeet unleashes the third single from his critically acclaimed debut album 'The Root, The Soul', in what will be his label's final release. After a decade in business, 'Baltimore' is a fitting epitaph for Lost My Dog: a languid and lazy deep house cut that makes for a classic end-of-night jam. If that isn't enough, house legend Charles Webster drops by with a trio of deep and dubby remixes to help the label sign off with a real flourish.Goodnight everybody!

Following critically and dj's acclaimed "All Alone EP" (Silver 033 / 2012), london-based frenchman SHADE is back on Silver Network with a blinding EP ! On top is a killer remix from french genius ARK (Perlon, Karat, Versatile, Circus Company) ... French Deep House and Dirty Funk at its best !!
