On "Nebula Sphynx" analog synths & sequencers burn deep like a tincture of jack house and ham-fisted experimental attack music. The track features special guest circuit Cole MGN (The Samps, Nite Jewel), who gives the "Sphynx" an extra crispy, cosmic crunch.

Ruscha keeps the meters peaking on "Parascopic Rope" with randy drum machine blasts and Casio SK-wanderings. Jan Driver's infamous imprint Grand Patrol and Heckmann's outpost AFU Limited collaborate to bring you three murder funky and fat tunes by the mixmaster Jan Driver ! - L' is a more than great dancefloor bomb with it's Tech-House flavoured fat beats and big mean bassline and bleeps ! This one also gets a remix treatment by none other than Mr. Harry Axt (aka Daniel Steinberg, ...) who was shaking and rattling the Japanese with it on his recent tour ! They were going nuts !!!

It may seem a strange proposition but perhaps there is a collective consciousness that can leave one club flat and makes another club fly; a presiding force that guides people through the peaks and troughs of a DJs record selection.

January 2012 sees the release of the debut The 2 Bears album Be Strong. A London record through and through, it ducks and weaves to the myriad sounds of the city, as The 2 Bears Raf Daddy and Joe Goddard pursue the perfect party record.
Alongside tracks like Be Strong, Church and the mighty Bear Hug - a pummeling treatise on the benefits of the peak time dancefloor cuddle - Raf and Joe mutate genres into previously unheard territories of dancehall country on the bouncing prison yard lament Time In Mind and garage reggae on Heart Of the Congos, a track that manages to simultaneously channel both Wookie and early '80s Madness before placing them each at a system in the heart of Notting Hill Carnival at dusk.
Raf Daddy - aka Raphael Rundell - met Joe Goddard (taking time out from his day job as one fifth of Hot Chip) through a party scene that saw them share deck duties at the legendary Greco-Roman parties. Upon venturing into the studio in an attempt to replicate some of the records that they'd lost themselves in the night before, Raf found himself laying
down vocals over Joe's skipping, bassomatic backing tracks safe in the knowledge that they'd soon be replaced by someone with sweeter, more melodious tones. In the end, it was Raf's voice that characterized and personalized The 2 Bears.

Around this time, Takkyu founded an indie label, "PLATIK".In 2006, he formed a unit "InK" with Hiroshi Kawanabe of TOKYO No.1 SOUL SET, and released the original full album "C-46" from Ki/oon Records under InK's name.

Despite the post-industrial label often affixed to Factory Floor, there's a greater complexity of sound within the band's music that defies such facile descriptions. Yes, there are rigid, fixed beats, and other sounds from the manufacturing plant, as suggested by the trio's moniker. But there is also an underlying danceability that belies the seeming austerity of the sound; a hint at warmth that cuts through the permafrozen exterior. That curious balance has paid endless dividends thus far: they've been remixed by producer Gavin Russom, Liars' Angus Andrew and No Age's Dean Allen; remixed and released by Optimo; remixed and collaborated live with Throbbing Gristle legend Chris Carter; and remixed and produced (!) by Joy Division and New Order's Stephen Morris. It's been a whirlwind few years in terms of musical accolades, and Factory Floor's DFA debut is a glimpse into why.

Oliver Koletzki's highly anticipated second album is an electronic album of the finest proportions. Toms, snares and claps... the classic palette of the 808 drum machine is well covered but it's the unique poly-rhythmic synth work and angular arrangements that set the track apart from those of retro-fetishists.Cheeky and fun, 'The Jerk' shows that simple elements do a big roller make. So addictive, it's the bouncing bass and buzzing lead that drag you along. The New York City-via-Montreal DJ offers a remembrance of his longtime cohort on his remix of the Rapture's glorious 'How Deep Is Your Love,' a single that was musically informed by Mehdi before his untimely passing:
