ollowing their recent track on Redux's Pick & Mix Vol. 1, the disco legend that is Pete Herbert and Melbourne's Golden Fleece further cement their collaboration with this full EP on Space Walker Records. "Ivory Waves" is a 90s influenced cut of uplifting piano-driven Balearic house, complete with lush cosmic flourishes, whilst "The Bells Of Hackney" is a more low-slung, but no less powerful production. Initially combining a snaking live bassline and spaced-out arpeggios, the track builds to a crescendo as heavily flanged piano and tights guitar licks come into play. The B-Side meanwhile serves up two remixes of "Ivory Waves"; Lithuania's Downtown Party Network recompose it as an even more-good time anthem (if such a thing is possible) with their trademark melodic charm, while Slovenia's Sare Havlicek takes the track into deeper territory bringing the thick bassline teasing the melody with dubbed out stabs, slowly bringing the huge piano line in before dropping it with force, taking the anthem potential of the original and running with it.

Jon Convex kicks off his exciting new Convex Industries imprint with two of his own soloproductions 'Bump and Grind' & 'Closer'. As one half of Instra:mental there's no surprise with the sonic qualities of these tracks, an amalgamation of raw electronica/techno and bass music, or as he likes to call it, EPM (Electronic Party Music).Both tracks feature Convex's trademark pitched vocals, thumping kicks, rounded basslines and twisted glitch edits fit for any dancefloor, a must for any DJ that wants to get a crowd moving.

After the epic disco rock of Antibodies, here comes Poni Hoax' second extract from their much anticipated new album 'Images Of Sigrid'. Although the original song is already massively anthemic, JOAKIM managed to turn it into a real club monster aimed at destroying any dancefloor. One of his heaviest remixes for sure. On a different tip but still highly danceable, ALTER EGO (who recently released their new album with the hit Why Not~) delivers a mental remix full of freaky vocoders that keeps pushing the pressure on and on for 6 minutes before unleashing the beast. On 'Around' Danish Noir teamed up with Malaysian Haze for this
heartfelt piece of music. Haze might be best known for his work with

Solomun is a genius when it comes to sexy club music. This remix is
already rated one of his best to date and perfectly refletcs his flair for the

Needwant get set to welcome you to the world of Parisian super duo, The Mekanism, with a debut EP that will make you fall in love with their spin on disco infused house music. Effortlessly smooth and divinely deep, they capture an advanced and modern sound that will blow you away. The EP features three original tracks plus a remix from Needwant favourite, Mario Basanov who continues to gain notoriety as both an individual artists and within his Mario & Vidis project.

Title track 'Can't Believe' oozes with a funky yet deep groove and rhythm. The empowering melody and warm keys captivate the mind, as the murky vocal takes us deep. Lithuanian producer Mario Basanov steps in for remix duty, with a housier, deeper dance floor spin on the original 'Can't Believe'. Grumbling stabs and rounded melodic keys drive this remix with impressive results.

Next up 'Missing Love' is highly infectious with its forceful bass, fluid warm keys, steady claps and captivating, deep vocal, which will engulf the dance floor. 'Your Shade' is the third of the original tracks on offer from the talented duo. Using their own vocal for a French twist, they prove their artistic worth for this smooth deep cut.

Feted kosmische synthesizer wizards from Cleveland OH , Emeralds, have never had any of their music remixed before. Let alone having the title track from their acclaimed 2010 album reworked (twice) into a floor-filling behemoth by Daphni (aka Dan Snaith aka Caribou). "We toured together in 2010 and since then I've always wanted to play their music in my DJ sets. So I did my own version of this track", says Snaith. "It's one of those tracks that whenever I play it I can feel the energy in the room lift." There are several ways to try to sum up the history of MOTOR. Chronologically listing all of the releases, significant events, enthusiastic critics and superlative comments, awards won and goals achieved in a comparatively short period of time would be one of them. It would certainly be a quite impressive list, but it would not fully pay justice to the phenomenon of MOTOR, as this phenomenon is clearly more than just the sum of its parts. Sometimes less is more, and that is why this brief history more than anything focuses on some of the milestones in the rise of MOTOR, as well as some seemingly random anecdotes, which at the end of the day impressively stand for the very essence of this extraordinary act.

Ahead of the UK release of their critically acclaimed album Lokemo, Belgian duo Arsenal kick things off with new single 'Melvin', featuring guest vocals from Shawn Smith of Seattle's Pigeonhed.

After a two-year break, Detroit producer and wayward star-child Jimmy Edgar debuts on Scuba's Hotflush Recordings armed with an album full of futuristic sleaze. Known for his unique take on jacking house and electro funk, he's recently been splitting his time between the US and Berlin, exploring transcendental meditation and the boundaries of the non-physical. This offering is an extension of that journey, bringing eleven tracks of erotic robo-pop to the table. Titled Majenta, this LP is a departure from his past sound, marking a shift in his own ever-expanding consciousness, as well as another exciting chapter of his musical career.Each track is an aural manifesto, giving well-deserved nods to his varied musical influences. Close encounters with Detroit legends Derrick May and Juan Atkins, Jimmy's 2004 signing to Warp Records, and his early exposure to Kraftwerk have all acted as lynchpins in the cultivation of his sound. With a number of releases on Glasstable, Semantica, Nonplus and long player releases on both Warp and !K7, Majenta reflects Jimmy's evolution as both artist and child of the cosmos.According to Edgar, the making of the album was steeped in countless synchronicities, continuously reminding him he was on the right path. In contrast with his last LP, XXX, for !K7, which took five years to make, Majenta is more raw, more spontaneous and in his words, 'more futuristic ... than my other music, which played a lot with retro, especially R&B.' From the outset, Jimmy's flexing his Kraftwerkian muscle, with vocoder complimenting his own unadulterated voice and '80s synthlines bubbling away alongside jazz-funk keyboard riffs. From the raunchy and sexually explicit 'Take Me on a Sex Drive' ('windows down, legs up high') to the low-lit, hypnotic feel of 'Attempt to Make it Last', to the UK garage rhythms of 'Let Yrself Be', to the Kiss-era Prince vibe of 'I Need Your Control', it's clear that the postmodern is Edgar's domain. The Frampton-esque vocals of 'In Deep' close out the LP and further cement his enviable place in the intergalactic community.Spring/Summer 2012 will see Jimmy playing a number of live shows across Europe and the US in support of Majenta (including major festivals such as Glade, UK), as well as his continued exploration into the world of LEDs and synchronized light technology.

Feadz and Kito met in 2008 at a music festival in Australia and bonded instantly over their passion for
music and music production. The pair kept in contact over the years and met up a number of times when
hey found themselves in the same city. In 2011 Feadz invited Kito to visit him in Paris to work on some
music. After a week in the studio an exciting new project was born; a project that celebrates their mutual
ove for techno music.

Last year's 'The Age Of Compassion' by Chicago underground house don Tevo Howard was one of the standout tracks for Buzzin' Fly in 2011with widespread DJ and media support. It joined his burgeoning body of work on other acclaimed labels such as Rush Hour and his own Beautiful Granville. Now Tevo returns with his follow-up for Buzzin' Fly.
If 'The Age Of Compassion' was a simple and elegant dancefloor bump wrapped in warm analogue melancholia, then the 'Monument EP' is its nemesis - a stark future-retro reinterpretation of the origins of house music build from the bare components of machines: raw drums, sub bass, sine waves, square waves and oscillators.

"In music, phrygian mode is dissonant, dark, depressive and gloomy. Its use was even forbidden in classical Greece for centuries because it was considered pagan.

The debut Debukas EP firmly planted him as one to watch, with four tracks that explored underground electronics with a pop sensibility and a grounding in classic house and techno. This new seven track EP continues down this route with his rich analogue sound and soulful vocals again taking centre stage.

The originality of his music stands out with the use of his voice combining as riffs, fx and melodies alongside the more traditional lyrics, and from his well stocked studio of vintage synths and drum machines where he has been honing his craft and developing a sound which is as much indebted to Arthur Russell and Gino Soccio as it is Underground Resistance and Model 500.

The Pleasure Patterns EP explores the outer edges of 4/4 club transmissions with the locked in groove of 'Loads Of Time' and the muscular synths of 'Rings'. Hits an almost disco feel with 'Golden Mind'. Drops the tempo for the loose and percussive 'Titanic' and trippy, hypnotic vibes of Send Me Out' and 'Knowledge' showcases some deft drum programming and vocal editing for futuristic disco dancefloors. It's left to Pional to round the EP off with his remix of 'Golden Mind'. He spots the disco feel of the original and filters it through some Madrid sunshine into a dreamy house epic. We've been fans of Pional for some time, and he's currently riding high after his two collaborations on the John Talabot album which are arguably the finest tracks on the album.

Debukas has recently featured on Mary Anne Hobbs XFM show with a DJ mix and she has played three tracks from the EP on her show. He's also remixed indie darlings Spector, label mates Crazy P and the new single by Drums Of Death. His live show which features a trimmed down version of his studio and live vocals is now hitting the road including a Crazy P support slot at Koko on Saturday 17th March. Already working hard on his debut album, this EP gives you an indication of what to expect from the all singing, all producing Debukas.

Five lines lay the foundation for a new sound community: KOMATON. Tomá Ivanov and Sebastian Lehner are two young Austrian sound artists living in Vienna and Linz. Always focusing on their passion to touch and move the body and soul of their audience, they express their musical sentiments through the utter infinities of electronic sounds without compromise.

But the dynamic duo didn't just pop out of nowhere. Their joint musical history already began in their early youth. Initially connected by their fascination, the freedom and emotionality of rich electronic sounds, the two freethinkers in their mid-twenties never cared about genre borders; the main point has always been that the beat kicks and the message is credible.

Since 2009, Sebastian Lehner alias Beppo Ton and Tomá Ivanov aka Garnet Ivanov go a part of their journey into the electronic realms as KOMATON. What the producer duo is about in their releases, live or on tape Short and sweet, compact but beautiful: Getting those big human emotions and desires on a record and making them perceptible as electronic music - using all it takes: polished songwriting and delicate arrangements, at all times steadily supported by driving beat constructions. Inspired by contemporary colleagues like Clark, Matthew Dear, Modeselektor or the dreaded Wighnomy Brothers, their authentic way to sing makes them stand out from the masses.

The youngsters present themselves via Myspace and Facebook. Basically, that's modern and absolutely right - but KOMATON's real show happens on stage. Their live act is electronic sound entertainment combined with comatose surprise effects for all free listeners and dancers of the world - always in touch and on a level playing field with the audience. The two musicians' artistic ideology is in their continuous exchange with the like-minded and the processing or scoring that is fueled by their thereby newly found inspiration. best to describe Kellerkinds type. Nothing could be more beautiful than to realize a project in total harmony.
It's been a little over four years since Kellerkind released his first song to the public ear. Sirion Records gladly
offered him the platform to do so then and achieved the project "Bergluft" together, which received massive
credits worldwide. This was the kick-off to his music career and was followed by many releases on renowned
labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Flash Rec. or Hive Audio. Nevertheless he remained active with Sirion Records as
well through remixes for other projects or also with his own vinyl release "Altro Mondo".
The first single taken conjures a sharp foretaste to Kellerkinds upcoming album. The main track clings to his roots
and dedicates classically to disco on the dance floor. As the title of the main track says "Disco on the Dance
Floor" is ideally suited fort he dance floor with is groovy bass and poignant disco stabs, ready to thrill the
masses. The rhythm and atmosphere of this song make summer approach just a little quicker. Channel X (Stil Vor
Talent) dares a fulminate interpretation, familiarly bassy and powerful. An unstoppable, hauling rhythm
seemingly develops.
Kellerkind cranks it up on the b-side with "Triple Distilled" - organs, trumpets, flutes and synchs. A truly musical
piece, destined to make you dance.
Animal Trainer (Stil vor Talent, Hive Audio) pick up the prominent elements and develop a colorful hymn.
Stamped with an uncompromising cue, short breaths for trumpet solos, and grinding right back in.
With their variations, the remixes are an excellent addition to Kellerkinds signature style. The anticipation to his
debut album "Basement Story" remains enormous.

Peel ex- drummer in an indie-rock band, Jan has progressively neglected toms and charley to devote himself to
synths and machines along with music partner Eva Peel. Eva Peel both singer and a Dj also works as a multimedia
artist (producing videos & images represented by Gallery Moretti & Moretti-Paris). Theremynt is an electronic
experimentation inspired by various musical trends that they have in common such as: krautrock, space disco
and all kinds of progressive sounds, in addition with more dancefloor styles (acid-house, new beat, cosmic
disco). A SIDE *Silenzio* .. is an ethereal and synthetic track with italian vocals sung by Peel, sort of a tribute to
80's italian cosmic disco- followed by a remix by french artist Marc Lapeyre aka *The Fk Club*, a DJ- producer
from Marseille who released his first album in 2010. B SIDE *Mary & Johnny* .. is a cover of Robert Palmer's 80's
