House Vinyl New Releases - News

Debut release from a duo of new school producers based in Barcelona inspired by their passion for the atmosphere of the dance floor.

Long pads and driven grooves is what makes these tunes the perfect choice for a well and deep warm up. Less talk and more music...

Available on 12 vinyl for the first time, 'Love Will' is the result of a beautiful collaboration between two musical giants, Boddhi Satva & Bilal. The pairing of Boddhi's masterfully crafted Ancestral Soul production alongside the gospel rich falsetto of Bilal create a sound that takes us to another world. Bilal's voice has always been a source of inspiration for Boddhi Satva as a producer. His voice, tone and range carry a unique vibration that resonates deeply. Love Will' is testimonial to the guiding light of Love and faith. It is a song of inspiration which allows us to look within ourselves as only the soul knows'. It is LOVE that takes us on a soulful journey of spiritual awakening....'Love will be your light, love will lead you home.

What happens when you bring together two percussionists who are well-established in the electronic music scene and commission them to produce four tracks exclusively with percussion instruments-with the only requirement being not to deliver any overtly thought-out nerd music The answer has been provided by Sven Kacirek and Thomas Klein on this release. A few word abut the musicians: Sven Kacirek has previously released five solo albums, including the highly praised 'Kenya Sessions' in 2011. He has collaborated with Marc Ribot, Nils Frahm, Shabaka Hutchings and F. S. Blumm. In 2015 he released an album together with Stefan Schneider on Bureau B. Thomas Klein is a founding member of the band KREIDLER and has published three solo albums on Bureau B since 2011 under the moniker Sølyst. Although the two musicians each speak their own distinct rhythmic language, with only a few data transfers between Hamburg and Düsseldorf they have conjured up four compact tracks, which despite the instrumental limitations are surprisingly diverse in terms of sound, groove and depth. The collaboration went like this: Each sent the other a sketch for further development and expanded upon the one they had received. In a final meeting, there were only a few formal decisions to be made and some minimal corrections. Each contributed his own spectrum of instrumental and tonal possibilities-without overdoing it. In addition to drums, cymbals, shakers, xylophone and vibraphone sounds, sonic treatments are clearly audible. In this way, the acoustic and electronically triggered sound material came into an unconventional dialogue. The musicians only met in person for the mixes at Düsseldorf's Elektro-Mueller Studio.

Here comes Prospector 5th release from Pit Spector's unique live-label concept.
Conceiving a new concept that pulls together production and performance, Since 2014 Pit Spector organise a series of Prospector parties in Paris. For each soiree he invite a guest
artist to his studio to work on an exclusive live show for the club, as well as new music for the label. This time Pit Spector joins forces with his old time accomplices To Ba and
Charlie Notfonk from Antislash for an Acid and Funky Minimal Journey. They asked ARK to put his secret freaky house touch to the EP.
The record starts with 'Flip', a strong and minimal beat completed by a mind-blowing acid bass to kill the dance floor. Recorded live this track shows the live energy of the electronic
band. 'Tilt' follows as a full analog acid tune melting 808 drums, MS20 bassline and subtil Juno pads. Ark brought a funky vibe in his 'Frenchxit' mix full of energy and happiness.
To please everyone, the band added a dark and minimal 'Extra Ball' for the party to go on.

Benjamin Brunn is back with two long turn jams. «I Dream, Sometimes I Think» is a Brunn signature track build on a detroitish bass line that fits perfectly to bright, melodic synth chords.
«(T)Issue - a Shoe - Uwe» on the flip side is made of reduced pattern music slowly growing into solid space loops. Growers in full effect.

Takashi Himeoka joins our label with a deep house masterpiece reinterpreted from Mihigh on the B side for more minimalistic feelings.

Hot on the heels of 'Inre Rydmen', the EP that the Swedish multi-instrumentalist group Tommy Awards released via Origin Peoples in mid-June, come the remixes. Drafting in a cohort of the very best, this impending release will see the likes of Jonny Nash, Coyote and Mystic Jungle Tribe jump on the remix duties, touching original productions with their unmistakable idiosyncrasies. Bartosz Kruczynski, the Polish producer better known under his 'Earth Trax' guise, is another name credited on the release, offering up a 15-minute epic as he reinterprets penultimate track, 'Hans Logan.' Also to see an appearance on this EP is the Romanian Eirwud Mudwasser, offering up a rendition of the track 'Mike Sierra Foxtrot' reworked in a similar esoteric expanse, albeit it quite a bit more lucid.
Oscillating electronics mesmerise and an arpeggiating synth melody gradually make way for marimbas. Sweeping, elongated strums of guitar stretch out like the horizon and the dialogue between various melodic elements continues throughout as we bear witness to various transformations. Irregardless of pacing, the meditative quality remaining consistent throughout each glorious edit.

Cocoon Recordings presents: Q! Cocoon Recordings presents - Q' - the new edition of one of the longest running techno compilation series worldwide! We do not want to start again by mentioning how unbelievable it is that we have reached letter Q already ... and we do not even want to imagine how fast we will probably arrive at XYZ, if time continues to fly like this. The actual thrilling part of this compilation series is simply the fact that Techno seems to not grow any older in this form - isn't this amazing Here, in the truest sense of the word, we have a compilation of timeless material before us. With a broad bandwidth ranging from - futuristic-deconstructive' compositions such as 'Da Dang' by Alex & Digby and 'Fragile' by Carlos Nilmmns or the many contributions to Q that fancy almost anachronistic acid and trance influences: Everything sounds fresh and forward thinking! The vocal parts and the arrangement of 'All I Can (About you)' by Baba Stiltz appear like electronic singer songwriting. The musical approach of Baba Stiltz is slightly similar to big Pepe Bradock productions and their Dada aesthetic. In contrast to this, 'Anno Domini' by Kamran Sadeghi follows the sound approach of early Maurizio / Basic Channel records and reminds us that modern techno does not always have to be impulsive and kicking, and certainly does not define itself over the most extreme 'drops' (sick!).

Chains EP, is a meltin pot of dub vibes, breaking leads, and melancholic vocals.
An obscure path through secret prophecies, sewing new worlds, combining ash and bones.
A born spell, takes you into uncharted lands, a journey up to a mirage of a desert lake.
Axel Boman remix is fresh breath into e melancholic landscape, as a shaman hypnotizes you , and takes possession of your most magical vibration.
Beacon Remix is a velvety story into a melody that cradles you in a soft dream without break away from a wild energy.

1st release of new French label Plaisir Records by the artist Zendid, with a VID remix !!
Support: tINI, Faster, Anthea, Ada Kaleh, Raresh

Here, you're going to get into a serious classy bunch of tracks, where melodies interlace with round beats and basslines. The Wood Lesty's voice will enter your brain and will never leave it. The cherry on the cake (already rather tasty) is Vid Reconstruction Mix: a little 15 minutes diamond where he settles gradually his talent, involving the famous voice of the original mix with a compulsion of claps to end in second part of the remix with angelic choirs deserving of the most beautiful opera.

framed by two spoken word samples and wrapped in house and techno emotions, that know about electro and 90's electronica too: the new, second album of the leipzig and berlin based producer and live artist martin enke aka lake people moves in a fresh way.
this time he shifts towards a focus on the essentials of electronic club music: sounds and groove, rough and playful interweaved with the aesthetic particles of techno. with his 'point ep', released on the berlin based imprint krakatau records in late 2012, his creative life as a producer for melancholic driven club tunes took off.
several top notch djs played the tune 'point in time', lake people started to tour world-wide with his mesmerizing live set and produced countless remixes for colleagues from all around the globe.
in 2015 he finally released his first album 'purposely uncertain field' on the munich based label permanent vacation and delivered eleven tracks at the interface of techno, ambient, experimental and electronic, that bewitch with hymnal chords, yearningly melodies, detailed production, elaborate sound design and an overall introspective, emotive feeling.
now, just shortly after he published a fresh ep on the dresden based imprint uncanny valley, lake people drops 'phase transition', a new album consisting of ten haunting tracks full of dance suspense.
he recorded all between 2016 and early 2017 on various vintage analog synthesizers, uad and other creative interfaces. to find out if his latest pure slamming tracks work deep, he tried them out during his live shows in order to catch some new ideas directly from the dance floor.
later he refitted the tested material, so that all ten tunes dance together as a compact album, which at times still sounds melancholic and vulnerable, but comes around at large in a more self-assured guise.
you also experience in any tone, rhythmic twist or melody, that his latest music came naturally out of the soul of a producer, who constantly is doing music: at home or on the road. during this continual work flow, he created sparser, direct kicking spheres, that also still bring some drama to the party.
a fine moody you-don't-stop grooving record that follows a heartfelt syuzhet, which is full of temperament, devotional, partly larry-heardish and straight like a bullet, carrying the audience from joy and whimsy too melancholy and sugared desolation. dance this mess around!

Blind Box Series has recently marked its fifth chapter and despite being just one year old, has established a firm and conscious musical identity, which clearly reflects label heads' common grounds.
In order to explore their musical background, Julien Sandre and Konstress proudly introduce Blind Box Basic, a new format to spread a more minimalistic approach to the dance floor.

In time, Plusculaar has become an indispensable asset to our label so it is only fair that we kick off this Esemtrax Limited vinyl series with his "Rumänische" EP. After the massive success "Stai Jos" on Enough!Music, it is our turn to "take advantage" of his talent so we asked for some top quality tracks. The result is mind blowing! It contains his finest work yet, a blend of techno and minimal, the very well known "romanian sound".

Kanja Records is sincerely honored to present its first vinyl release, based on a concept called Sunday Mornings. With this series of releases we will focus on that warm up, early morning, after party gems and slowly fading away from peak time music. Our philosophy behind this concept is that the focus goes to the tracks being timeless, and music that you can listen to in every time of day and night. Music that offers a vast variety, but in the end coming together in that sweet and warm morning glory.
Soul Brother by Duky was definitely our first pick for the first track on this release. Moving away from his darker side, he perfectly captured the new concept of our label, bringing us a soulful, a bit more housy track and surely exceeding all our expectations.
HO3 by Paul Mad perfectly sits beside our opening track, again confirming that the first side of our release will be soulful, a bit jazzy and with all around housy vibe. As big fans of Paul's music we are greatly excited to have him on board and completing the first side of our release.
Count On Me by Silat Beksi brings real Ukrainian quality to the table. Still housy but a bit more punch and faster track will be perfect for balance to a more soulful and laid back first side of our release.
Ol' D by Just_Me is the final tracks on our first vinyl release. Being a bit different from other tracks on our release gives it that special place, as it nicely rounds up the variety that has been presented on this release.

Circus Company is proud to present a collection of 4 remixes from artists close to the label and Dani herself, framing her intimate songs in a new, dancefloor-ready context.

Following Dani Siciliano's welcome return to the spotlight with her self-titled LP, Circus Company is proud to present a collection of remixes from artists close to the label and Dani herself, framing her intimate songs in a new, dancefloor-ready context. David Okumu is best known as the frontman for The Invisible, but when he's not leading the band he can be found lending his vocal, instrumental and production talents to a host of projects. Here he lends a deft touch to the album's closer 'Sincerely', with a sound that combines modern electronica production with emotive synth lines and a light touch of '80s funk. Sturm & Drang is a new studio venture from dOP's own Damien Vandesande and Fabien Leseure, specially formed for this remix of 'Gone Are Those Days'. Working around a tight house groove, the duo lay down warm analogue synth tones underneath Dani's vocals and build up a sizzling club track that maintains the spirit of the original. British outfit Party Nails, affiliated to The 2 Bears and God Colony amongst other projects, take to 'Dragons' with a sense of urgency that turns the track into a taut, peak time workout loaded with tension. Dani's impassioned delivery sits atop the insistent drums and weighty bass as a foil to the hard edges of the production, making for an emotive result that harkens back to house classics. Circus Company's prolific soul maverick Dave Aju steps up to round the record out with a typically flamboyant version of 'Gone Are Those Days' that reflects his own exploration of tougher machine-powered rhythms of late.

The echoes come from far, far away as an ethereal sax marks the path towards bubbly promises of a good time. It is, dear friends, the sound of Indigo Raw breaking the silence. (That's right, it's been three years. Far from uneventful, the hiatus has seen the boys turn the IR name into a synonym of quality music and attention to detail through a series of wildly successful events. Now, the record label wheels are back in motion and Indigo Raw is, true to form, coming back with one massive bang.) World, meet Residual. Brought to you by the Berlin-based power duo known as DeWalta & Shannon, this one's coming at you in three parts: a very special puzzle we're excited to be putting together. Continuing to refine the special marriage of smooth grooves and fat beats that has so quickly come to define them, DeWalta & Shannon have delivered eight distinct peeks into an electrifying creative process that run the gamut from deep and moody to minimal or, dare we say, jazzy. Split into two vinyl releases and a third, comprehensive digital drop, Residual appears first as a playful introduction to the lay of the land, complete with a mean-ass modular monster aptly named Jugular Dub that could belong to no one else but these two. The second installment brings us the old-school banger begging for a big room, Miss Wrench, followed by a deconstructed jam session on the moon and rounded out by the sonar-bleeping Duality.

When titans collide! Moscow and FUSE bosses Archie Hamilton and Enzo Siragusa clash heads on MOSCOW020 bringing both of their influences to bear.
Ricochet is an unashamed terrace bomb which has been tried and tested by the boys all winter. Nothing complicated here, just big beats and tension-filled break that satisfies the dance-floor with the introduction of a familiar sounding old school hip-hop style lead. Dubby chords then switch the track up for a few bars before going back to business.
The flip opens with Transcend, an understated acid track perfect to keep things lively mid- set. The lead weaves it's way through the track whilst playing with a barely audible vocal
and plenty of groovy percussion.
The record closes with Dubinnovation - something quite different from either of the producers' usual styles. As the title suggests, the track takes influence from dub, using the sampled voice of Lee Scratch Perry. Rolling beats, rasping bass and mind warping effects make this the ultimate after party weapon.

Tvir is a vinyl only label based in Ukraine. Translated from Ukrainian Tvir means composition'. Its first release comes from KIM, a collaboration of two Ukrainian musicians: Vyacheslav Gura and Dimitry Zharkikh. Their objective is to write music of the highest quality in search of their own new unique sound via experiments with live instruments. They are also known as excellent vinyl only DJs, participants of many festivals and events in Ukraine and beyond. KIM's sets are similar to their productions with their own story and unique atmosphere.

The original track boasts dub lines with large grooves inspired by the launch of the first spaceship in the world called Vostok 1. Patrick Klein's version is a magnificent dancefloor friendly groover that would truly appeal to the fans of minimal house.
Voigtman's remix carries on deep dub sounds from the original track: mysterious melody accompanies intense drum machine and heavy bassline. Leo Pol's interpretation is performed using analog instruments with hypnotic shades of deep house. The artwork for the EP is inspired by Ukrainian folklore influences.

Next up on Fake Records is Monika Ross and Maik Yells with 'Date EP' Retox and Lemon Dub on the A side, wicked summer grooves and been getting big support from the likes of Brett Jacobs. On the flip Loopdeville is on remix duties!

After his first successful records on 8Bit and Cecille Records, it were his 2008 EPs "Nesrib" (Cecille) and "Trompeta/Clarinete" on Ricardo Villalobos' label Sei es drum that everybody could agree upon.
