His remix for Uner & Coyu's Summer hit "Up & Run" is still a top tune of many floors around the World. Now the mighty Ramon comes back with his first EP on our label, a massive underground tech house tune. "Pili Pili" is a fun track with an infected bassline and a extremely clean but effective groove. We are very sure to say it's one of the best Ramon Tapia's songs ever. For the remix duties we have Mathias Kaden & Luca Bacchetti. What can we say from two of the top tech house producers of the last 10 years Well, we're very proud to have those big guys remixing "Pili Pili". Kaden brings the tune to a new level. The creator of the minimal samba pays tribute to his own style with a ketaminimic remix, trippy and mental, groovy and sexy. It's extremely percussive, a storm of groove for small and big rooms. Luca Bachetti is another magic of the groove. He doesn't use to disappoint with his dreamy music. We first came across Mehmet when we played at the Family Affairs party he runs with the Miajica in Basel. A group of like-minded individuals, we hit it off musically and started swapping music.

At the time, he was particularly taken with the idea of mixing his traditional Turkish roots with his beloved house and techno leanings, but couldn't really imagine it working on a dancefloor... Until we played Tanki Tanki!

Since then, he has released a brace of tracks via our HIGHLIFE imprint and interest has been steadily building. Amongst the interested, include the bold ATA (of Robert Johnson fame) who is incredibly bringing back his dormant For Disco Only label after 8 years (previous artists included Villalobos and Luciano) to release new material by Mehmet. BIG!

With his first full release, Mehmet delivers a trio of tried and tested Turkish triumphs.

For the second instalment from Quantum Entanglement we delve into the misty past, a time when moving parts ruled the dance, when the power of the night rested on a needle and a bassline, and before CDJs calculated the bpm for you...you had to touch things, buy things, and the bassline ruled over all. Acid Thunder, a classic by Fast Eddie, was the first dance record i ever bought. It was important. The guy who sold it to me, at the time a spotty school kid in his school uniform, was called John Stapleton, and the shop was Sidetrax in Bristol. Mentrix totally gets the kinda NY sluttiness of the original, and brings it right up to date....less of a cover, more of a homage, the entanglement of then and now. Need You is an entanglement of two very unlikely BFFs... John Lee Hooker and Joey Beltram. This isn't really a cover, it's more like the offspring of many things, times, and moments - it's like the grandchild of John Lee Hooker's track dated the nephew of Joey Beltram's track and lived in Neukölln. Again, Direct - 'Techno Gone Mad' on R&S was another of my earliest techno purchases - at the time it was considered 'Dutch Hardcore' but now, it's almost cute.... Quantum Entanglement....recycling other people's good ideas since January 2014

After first appearing on the 'Fusic Volume 4 EP' back in November 2013 with his track 'Yours', Antony Difrancesco impressed so much that he was asked to complete a solo release for the label. This (INSERT DATE) Antony debuts on FUSE London with the luminous 'Level 3 EP'.
Title track 'Level 3' sets the tone with crisp percussion, a spiraling melody and echoing vocals culminating in a premium peak-time groove. Following on is the standout 'NoMore' which takes a much deeper approach.
'NoMore' is a gorgeous reflective journey characterized by a swinging rhythm and a warm floating synth. 'Free' made alongside LYLI completes the EP and is another dreamy track with angelic vocals and chords and a stuttering groove.
The 'Level 3 EP' is an elegantly balanced debut release from Antony Difrancesco. Despite being a relative newcomer in production terms, Antony demonstrates real music dexterity combining more dance floor ready tracks with introspective efforts.
It seems that FUSE London have unearthed another promising producer and one who sounds instantly at home on the label.

Wald begins immediately, ends abruptly, and is divided into three acts over three tracks. It is the first studio album under Stefan Betke's Pole moniker for eight years - not counting the three 12" EPs under the title Waldgeschichten (released in 2011/2012 and which were something like preliminary studies for this new album). Eight years is half an eternity in the digital age - yet the pieces on Wald seem timeless, or to have fallen from time. Stefan Betke: "After Steingarten I was on tour for two years. At the same time, Barbara Preisinger and I set up our record label ~scape. Those were two hindering circumstances that were not exactly conducive to a creative restart."

Colorhadoo makes his Amphia debut with two enticing tracks while Cristi Cons delivers the house's remix.

On the A side we are presented with J Strawbberry', an atmospheric track which slowly slips away into a mind-bending realm, where broken voices come and go under different shapes and the listener is engaged by occasional eclectic explosions. A beautiful work and trouble waiting to happen when properly used.

Side B has Cristi Cons taking the interpretation duties of the main track. The remix keeps the general mood of the original with a twist, everything is wrapped around a tight groove with shattering low end work, ideal for those early mornings.

We continue with Zanzibar'. This second track on side B takes the artistic vision into reverse. No more voices to be heard, huge spaces are reduced to just a solid groove. The track is guided by hypnotic pads and sounds while the emblematic percussion section is conducted by none other than Colorhadoo himself. Don't listen to this in the dark!

David Mayer is back with a bang. You might remember his last productions as downright atmospheric and in touch with one or another nerdy fixation on detail, well, those new cuts point to the place where elation is boiled up, more than anything he did before. The A1, named Moment is still keeping it a bit low key. If youd actually translate this piece of music into a moment, itd look like the one Ridley Scott presented us in American Gangster. With Frank Lucas being placed in some wooden hut in the outback of the Golden Triangle, dealing the deal of his life, sharply calculating within a mind clouding climate. With fantasy, youll hear the jungles deepness and the vibrant heat beside the kickdrum. It is a percussive, hypnotic floor-monument, surely obsessed with detail, but above all keeping the balance between deep- and straightness.

Smoke N' Mirrors presents a new sampler with tech- laced dance inducers.

Track 1: A funk infused deep house track with a surreal yet danceable edge. Click Click's remix offers a steady tempo and a rolling bass-line.

Track 2: "All Night" remix is a spaced out late night remix with a monster bass line.

Track 3: This remix showcases a shifting clap and a big build to get the feet moving.

of Trikk's musical personality as he gives us a

featuring rolling subbass alongside drifting chords

completes the EP with a guttural techno rework of

In May 2013 at a nondescript Seattle space called 1927 Events, twothirds of Magic Mountain High—Germany's David Moufang (aka Move D) and the Netherlands' Jordan Czamanski of Juju & Jordash—teamed up for a live performance that made everyone in the room feel privileged to have witnessed it. It was the kind of set during which you say to yourself, 'I hope to hell somebody's recording this.' Thankfully, somebody was doing just that, and the 99minute Live In Seattle is the sterling result. People throw around the word 'deep' to describe electronic music with cavalier frequency, but in the case of Moufang and Czamanski (who also records as Jordan GCZ), that adjective barely encapsulates the kind of fathomless sound they create. Their work as Magic Mountain High—which includes Juju &Jordash's Gal Aner—combines the two artists' springloaded, psychedelic techno and libidostokinghouse, exponentially multiplying their propulsive and disorienting qualities. Live In Seattle captures them working at the zenith of their improvisational powers for a rabid crowd—despite their European gear not functioning and having to use unfamiliar equipment, which is a testament to the pair's ability to create and adjust on the fly.The show begins with anticipatory cymbal taps and a beautifully morose melodica motif that wouldn't sound out of place in an Ennio Morricone soundtrack. A few minutes in, faint pulses enter earshot and a minute later the clapenhanced beats and synth bass burst into the forefront to form a strutting midtempo rhythm with a subliminal drone swirling beneath it.

Neon is not a common name for italian post punk lovers. Born in Florence, the cradle of peninsula's wave, they were probably the first important post punk gothic band in our country and they are still nowadays one of the most active band in 80's Italian new wave time, still marking Italian rock history. The band, which was born first as a duo at the end of the 70's in Florence's undeground culture, soon stands out for its KRAFTWERK and new wave icons' synth, which made their style a unique 80's cultural dream's specimen, together with newromantic and post punk tought of bands like JOY DIVISION, ULTRAVOX and HUMAN LEAGUE. In 1980, the band got off to an electronic start with the single Information of death, and later, through several line up changes, it achieves to synthetize a mix of obsessive electro sounds, obscure athmospheres and quite original pop melodies which take shapes in later works like Tapes of darkness (1981), Obsession (1982), My blues is you (1983), Dark age (1984); in 1985 Rituals sanctioned Neon as the best Italian new wave band of that year. With a history going back more than 20 years, Suicide Circus is one of the most established clubs for electronic music in Berlin. Several djs of international reputation have started their careers in the small, dark and sweaty first venue. Several locations later the club still exists and boasts a million hot nights and a constant contribution to Berlin's vivid scene.

This CD is one of 2 CDs which we are releasing to share the sound with you that we love so much. This CD stands for the brighter musical side of our club, mixed gently by our resident dj Sqim, to bring back all the memories to the uncountable incredible moments under our typical parachute.

Which brings us to VOIGT & VOIGT's AKIRA: originally stemming from the duo's ground-breaking full-length DIE ZAUBERHAFTE WELT DER ANDEREN (KOMPAKT 274 CD 104), the new REEPERBAHN MIX (vinyl only) takes the mantra-like source material and infuses it with some decidedly grainy feel - a funky sound collage of field recordings, accordion and beats. Jörg Burger aka The Modernist has the honor to conclude the 2015 instalment of TOTAL with SACROSANCT, a cut from his new moniker THE BLACK FRAME and proof of Burger's indie pop sensibilities as well as his impressive skill set when it comes to unadulterated songwriting.

Where To Now records are proud to present Beatrice Dillon's follow up release to the widely well received 'Blues Dances'. This three track 12' sees Beatrice step things up a gear in terms of intricacy, experimenting wildly to add to her already astute palette of timbre and rhythm.'Face A' leads the record with the unmistakable skronk of saxophone cutting and jamming over the skeletal pulse of Beatrice's signature dubbed out techno landscape. Initially the inclusion of saxophone acts as an aural abstraction or diversion to extract a little freedom from the pumping cavern of dark dub techno atmosphere punctuated with the mechanical juddering saw-bass, but as the piece develops and we become deep into the groove the inclusion of wild sax snorts trips us up and become the focus itself as new levels of complex melodic and rhythmic detail become apparent within this otherwise structurally obedient space.Taking it's cues from Rabih Beaini, Miles Davis 'Big Fun' era, Dresvn and Keith Hudson, undoubtably 'Face A' is a compelling, complex trip... heads down but arms flailing.
'Face B' continues the theme but takes the listener far deeper into the cavern. Here the concern is more the effects of space within song, a moment where Beatrice allows herself to move away from the floor to find a little more room for playful experimentation. The saxophone is further treated with a plethora of effects to compliment the array of dub signals that scatter and skip around the basin. The record closes with 'Sonnier (Walk in the light)' which strangely somehow manages to feel jazzier in its components, even in comparison to a pair of tracks riffing on a manipulated free-jazz sax part. It sounds strangely unsure of its world, adding to this whole loosely slung, loping feel which somehow fits amongst the stern, brooding, and efficient synth play. Beatrice masterfully manages to create a piece here that grows in intensity without ever increasing in pace or texture, every drop is intended to stir the listener a little more than the last. There's a sense throughout all the pieces of having rhythm imposed or even inflicted upon the listener but this is certainly not a conflict of ideas... there is optimism, harmony and above all - wild groove nestled within Beatrice's world of mutant shuffle.
Beatrice Dillon has previously released works for Where To Now Records, The Trilogy Tapes, and The Vinyl Factory. Beatrice collaborated live with Kassem Mosse at Tate Liverpool earlier this year and has shared stages globally with artists such as Rezzett, M.E.S.H, J.G Biberkopf, Call Super, Some Truths and Mark Fell. She also hosts a monthly show for NTS Radio, has produced mixes for Rinse FM, Blowing Up The Workshop and Truants, amongst others.

Already respected by those in the know for his taste and aptitude for digging, having uncovered numerous long-forgotten records in recent years, Etienne now unveils his debut solo release for Noir&Son.

The EP has a guile, cohesion and polish notable for a debut release: warm and approachable but complex enough to reward repeat listens, thoroughly modern but aware of its history.

Lead track 'Delphus' is an unashamedly UK inspired, silkily slinking, two-step floor filler. Contrastingly, 'Obsolate' is languorous and extended, a cooling moment for extended after hours. UK whizkid Eddie Regan closes the EP with his interpretation of a yet unreleased track called 'Desert C'. Demanding, organic patterns, dusty lofi vibes and the unique Isherwood step complete this release perfectly.

Do you Remember B~ Monkey B from Buenos Aires worked out his last Snork Enterprises release some time ago. It was his great "Forward Funk e.p." with the remix support from Julien Chaptal. Last time his great work was supported from Minus on their Contakt DVD Tour, so let´s see whats coming up this time. He provides both sides from the 12" and another digital bonus track (Terror Module), get the Funk!

A three-track release from the prolific French producer Brett Longman. After a lot of experiences all across Europe and a pretty extensive discography, his creativity combined with his production skills makes him one of the most versatile artist today. From rythmic minimal techno to road movie blues or melodic songs, he now enters a Crooner techno genre that he is inventing along the way.
