The label of the confidence in things experiment-joyful funkyness, presents a debut of the completely special mood. Welcome Irisfog in the world of the noble music preservation. Lukas Rabe & Niklas Kraft are together Irisfog. The two bustling musicians and sound nerd originate from Leipzig. There they are com- mitted in different projects & volume from noise to jazz. Therefore blows also the wind of influences, which besides with hearing habits from abstract to orchestral and herbaceous are combined. Niklas Kraft trades under the name of besides under the name Talski. Its publications on the Vinyl only label Rivulet can convince dancers and lovers at the same time into a basin of full deepness bathing to go together. Deep one is here also in all four pieces more than trump. Here nothing is only no way sunrise or sunset, here the fog cannon is started up there, all the same whether she seems or not. However, where much fog is, it becomes also repeatedly sunny. In the heart above all, because the music of Irisfog also comes there. You can say in addition, it is out that belly music in a jam character with all kinds of synths, microphones, various devices and samples. There are four songs for the dark side of life, without going so far as to speak of darkroom techno. Listen for yourself...

Sometimes you need to lose your mind, to regain your musical soul. For Berlin DJ/producer Daniel Steinberg, an intense touring period in the wake the releasing of his debut album 'Shut Up' warranted just that. Suffering from a heavy tour comedown and questioning the direction of not just his music, but his ongoing desire to continue as a globetrotting artist, he locked himself in his East Berlin studio for a nine-day period of self-imposed exile that ultimately laid the foundations for his latest opus, 'Treptow'. For the nine days I didn't speak to a soul except for the pizza delivery guy and completely lost my mind (in the best possible way) listening to some very obscure experimental music from the likes of Ron Geesin, Mark Shreeve and Trevor Wishart. This time acted as the reset button that inspired me to produce 'Treptow', he tells. Long-lauded by Jesse Rose who signed him to his Front Room Recordings label and the likes of Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano and Claude Vonstroke who've supported his tunes, 'Treptow' speaks of a producer enjoying a deep vein of inspiration. Over fourteen tracks he has crafted a longplayer filled-to-the-brim with rich, personality-laden electronic music, that's indicative of not just the breadth of his production palette, but his passion and commitments to creating colourful dance music with genuine soul and feeling.

Unformated electronica techno sounds ;;; Bringing low-fi effects as well as some pumpin bleepy tekhouse.

Time flies by and reality hits hard as we watch the sunset, realising that summer will be over soon and autumn is fast upon us. Lay down on »DWIG« aka. »Die Wiese Im Garten« for a good cup of tea and some »Big Tales«.

»Orange Evening« (A1) shuffles a warm groove as you watch the first leaves dance in the wind, from the rocking chair on your grandpa's porch - just the right spot for some »Big Tales« (A2) that paint a picture of times you never saw, but still remember. Thankfully, nobody judges us around here, so put on your »Dirty Dress« (B1) once again as the tempo turns up a notch.

limited 250 copies !!
This is the first release by Submit Records from three experienced Leipzig based artists.

Time to clean the dust of your record players kids, there is a shiny new vinyl coming to town by non other than Cabanne, without doubt one of the most skilled house and techno artists of our time!

Compass Point, Muscle Shoals, Sun Studios, Studio One, Cargo Studios, Spaceward Studios : all seminal recording studios. Here in Glasgow we are very fortunate to have Green Door Studio which is a free thinking hub for wild, original creativity and great sounding analogue recordings. Several Optimo Music releases including Golden Teacher were born out of recording sessions there and indeed, this will be the 6th release on Optimo Music to be recorded at Green Door. They deserve credit as my secret A&R division occasionally getting in touch and saying, "We think you might like this..." which inevitably leads to me scraping my brain off the floor and deciding I have to release it as a record asap. This 5-track EP by Whilst was the latest transmission from Green Door that my ears fell in love with. How to describe it I have no idea except to say that it is wildly inventive and incredibly free music made by several individuals who are unnervingly young to be making these sounds. They describe themselves as follows -

"Formed originally as a jam-based project in the ever-fertile analogue studio 'Green Door', Whilst jump seamlessly between free jazz, primitive electronics, dubby post-punk, North African and motorik stlyings, underpinning their sound with a strong punk ethos".

Released February 24th 2014 on 12" with limited edition hand made silk screened sleeve and on digital. If repressed, 2nd pressing will come in a generic Optimo Music sleeve. Distributed by Kompakt.

*note* OM 22 will come out a month before this due to delay with sleeve construction for this 12".

Post-voodoo, intergalactic grooves. Layered and psychedelic. Hypnotic and infectious. Lose yourself. Find someone else.

FarFromNormal are happy to announce that the first vinyl release will be by the fantastic up-coming producer ZefZeed. To help set (FarFromNormal) at high standards he has come up with 3 original tracks with a atmospheric deep techno vibe. ZefZeed has also produced records for two of the most respected underground labels around "Body Parts" & "All Inn Records" and has a lot of support from some huge artist. This is the beginning of something great for FarFromNormal. (Modul 1) Is full of crazy spaced noises with a fantastic echo rhythm. (Modul 2) Is packed with dark instruments with a huge rumbling flow great for a midnight build up. (Modul 3) hold's a heavy kick with a rhythmic bass line and is partnered with some chords that gives you a sun set vibe

ekv017: henry saiz - walking on a wire

The 10th anniversary of Moon Harbour is around the corner; naturally it will be celebrated with a compilation.

If something can be called eclectic in the house music this is
it. Here is another EP by already a well-known member of the
Organic family and an amazing producer Doubtingthomas.
Avec Parcimonie comes as a vinyl release with a digital two-
track bonus as a download. It also contains a splendid remix by
new French talent Ben Vedren putting some additional flavour to
the already sophisticated record.
The EP is loaded with deep, warm and subtle harmonies. Its
melancholic mood is counterbalanced with the driving rhythms
and funky percussion so characteristic for Doubtingthomas.
Abstract sound textures, organic beats add dimensions that make the record listenable on repeat !!

limited white vinyl...

After constributing to last years Superlongevity Five compilation, we were more than happy to receive those tracks from Mister Tanaka, who currently resides in between Tokyo and Berlin.

Lee Burton - Busy Days For Fools Lake People Remixes When one of the most brilliant remixers gets his hands on four tracks from a unique and highly reviewed album, the result is Lee Burton 's 'Busy Days For Fools, Lake People Remixes' and in one word........amazing. Deepness in all it's forms, hypnotic vocals, a surprise in every second, the Lake People way. 'Breath' already been charted by a great number of legends out there. Can't miss with something like this.....

Another top quality release from S.A.M. Limited Edition.

Alex Font repeats in Oblack- only like the best -and he does it showing the most acidic and clubby version of that "The real house" that permeates their sound from start to finish. This 'Acid Flow' is the fifteenth reference of the pastorial label commanded by Snna and Nacho Arauz- from Ibiza the Valencian Alex Font presents us with an original passage of festive house, trotter and no-friend of the depressions where the legendary sound of the Roland TB-303 is the pacesetter, disguises the soul and adds foundation to the track. And, since it breaks the acidic sound through antonomasia, this 'Acid Flow', shows his playful and fun side. This is a bright and optimistic theme, designed and checked to make us dance with a smile on our face, no doubt. A bare-chested tribute to those early 90s when electronics was all about joy and effervescence.

Nacho Marco's remix from this 'Acid Flow' is inherent of such talent that dominates the battles of sophisticated deep house. The Valencian brings seriousness, body and attachment to the original version; he tempers it and makes it elegant growing upwards and making it a perfect tool to be enjoyed in the middle of the night, in that session that no one wants let go. His hectic progression, following the classical canons, is manual, and from the middle of his footage when the remix comes up, pimps, takes a break and explodes to turn into a more acidic final. This is not a cucumber; it's a full salad. Top marks for this groovy exercise from one of the fastest growing national talents with bigger impact beyond our borders.

'She's a Kalheesi' is the theme that closes this great EP. Here Alex Font goes back through the front door to that dreamily housie space, with strong upward tech, which flies with the fluidity of a starling in late spring. His contemporaneous job of the gender born in Chicago is fed through issues like this in which starting from a base itself, he adds house elements, vowels, synthetic lashes and beats that move him towards new and mysterious lounges. Good face A2 that could be the A1.

Alex Font, Nacho Marco and Oblack - Los Pastores label: a perfect sum.

This album is available in 2 seperate parts. Part One comes in limited luxurious handmade screen-printed sleeves. Part Two comes with an inner sleeve and can be combined with Part One to built the full LP.
Top quality double vinyl DEWALTA album on Meander. Unique, deep sounding long techno journeys from another planet. This album is available in 2 seperate parts. Part One comes in limited luxurious handmade screen-printed sleeves. Part Two comes with an inner sleeve and can be combined with Part One to built the full LP. Illumination is a record inspired by several physical phenomenons and relationships, quantum mechanics, space, darkness and light. It is a body of work focusing on complex sound frequency experimentations and illuminating questions around consciousness as well as awareness - triggered by deep emotions about being a human - reacting to sound and music. It works with subtle, clear kaleidoscopic musical textures and silhouettes triggered from an unknown place far out in the universe. Just as Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell has experienced the zen-like experience of seeing earth from space to a state of mind also known as the overview effect, or Savikalpa Samadhi, some eastern philosophies address the same topic from a different angle. Two objects, even far apart from each other in space can be energetically entangled and connected. Darkness is absence of light. Life and energy is light. Light is invisible until it surfaces. In the zero point sleeps all potential energy. But above all now enjoy the music. Mastering and cut by Mike Grinser at Manmade Mastering, Berlin.

Label-owner Kastil continues the Soul Notes imprint with a release that represents the self-reivention process that he is currently experiencing. Emphasizing on advanced synthesis and a more atmospheric approach to his sound, the Basque country native takes one on an intergalactic journey through his current mindset. The title track
'Binary Star' is a spacious journey where Kastil subtly blends ferm drums with a mystic pad and unusual drum changes. The effort slowly builds into a otherworldly peak with an original synthline.
For the A2 effort called 'Forest Curtains' Kastil heads into more repetitive territory where the focus lies heavily on drums and FX, some squeeky synth bits set the tone.
On the B side we find a very interesting Binary Star rework from EOMAC (of Lakker fame) who sets a somewhat dark tone which is reminiscent of Garage from a futuristic techno point of view. Not a track to pin down to one genre but definitely an effort that will turn a lot of heads.

Feedback
Norman Nodge - Proper techno tracks with a courageous rework.

Paul Mac - Eomac mix is the pick for me here. Some definite old UK Electronica vibes coming from this one which can never be a bad thing.

Original, mystical, minimal house excursions, over fourteen and twelve minutes respectively.

Holdie Gawn & Micawber are back with Sylphe06: Once again working around their usual split format. Holdie Gawn's ''Moon Ride'' is a haunting, melancholic trip in a deep mood, that stretches slowly and steadily over 12 minutes in a journey of enchanted synths and micro-grooves. Over to the B Side we have ''Vattum'' by Micawber, a solid, stopming techo affair with a large, deep bassline & kikcdrum, resonating and pulsating slowly. On top crispy rides, hats & glitches accompany the groove slowly, making this EP a fine comdination between two very different yet effective tracks for the mind and the dancefloor.

After releasing the highly praised 5 years of Quanticman Records , the Romanian techno based returns with a 4 track Various Artists called Persons of Interest.

Already a veteran of the Quanticman rooster Octavian shows his skills with a 2 stepped track , moody , chilled but still danceable for those lovely DC10 mornings.
