After Amor Fati with "Into Deep" began 001, Buttha follows with a minimally and Deep Techno EP.

Time is running...and it seems like we just woke up out of our interstellar sleep-mode as we are facing the arrival of the 14th edition of the almighty COCOON RECORDINGS COMPILATION. Starting with the letter 'A' we reached 'N' meanwhile which probably marks one of the longest running techno-compilation-series ever around. The list of the featured artists is amazing and almost endless. Big names like Funk D'Void, Alter Ego, Michael Mayer, Steve Bug, DJ Rush, Adam Port, Christian Smith, Nina Kravitz, Henrik Schwarz or Argy can be found here. Not to forget some of the biggest players in the circus like Sven Väth, Anthony Rother, Extrawelt, Timo Mass, Radio Slave or Ricardo Villalobos, DJ Koze, Dubfire and even Berlin's Basic Channel mastermind Moritz Von Oswald! With the new 'Compilation N' we will add even more big names side by side to some fresh and promising ones. Let's start with Konstantin Sibold & Leif Müller who gave us 'Kolibri", a great slowed down techno-tune that brings us back to the high days of Alter Ego when Harthouse released big listening and electronica albums. Track number two by Julian Perez follows that feeling and explores the deep and dubby sides of techno, too. A perfect transition to Frankfurt homeboy Markus Fix. It's dub again however spiced up with hypnotic strings and a clubby kickdrum shaking our bass bins! With track number four, 'Compilation N' opens the door to proper and kicking club music.

Vocal driven electronica, pop sensibilities and a touch of melancholia is a tried and tested recipe of SILENCE MUSIC cuisine. A new release titled My Holy Senses is no exception. This creative venture joins together a renown Lithuanian multi-instrumentalist and composer Vygintas Kisevicius, an up-and-coming singer and songwriter Markas Palubenka and a versatile SILENCE producer Few Nolder. Original acoustic versions come under the name of Kurak, a project which Vygintas started a couple of years ago with a goal of bringing together some of the most talented young Lithuanian singers and songwriters for something new and exciting. And indeed they managed to produce some well worthy musical material generating quite a few waves of interest and success back home. Few Nolder picked out a couple of tracks from an ever-expanding Kurak's repertoire and threw them onto the sweaty dance floor. Included in the package are two DJ friendly adaptations from David Krasemann aka Dave DK and Vidis. My Holy Senses is a short modern day Love story about Acoustics giving an adoring kiss to Electronica in a dim light of a nightclub.

'Last summer I moved from Chicago to London, and this EP followed me through the madness!' Kate Simko tells us about how her sensual Get Physical debut, 'Lost In London EP' came to be. 'I started the songs in Chicago last spring, and was feeling full of ideas and urgency to get them recorded. I guess I was thinking that somehow things might be forgotten after all of the hustle of moving...' Kate has seen her previous releases span catalogues from Leftroom to Scissor & Thread. She has a solid following of vinyl loving fans - nearly all of her releases selling out in short notice. We expect 'Lost In London' to be no different. 'Then it was time to ship my studio by boat to the UK. It took about 6-8 weeks to arrive, and in that time I did a lot of exploring (aka getting lost) in the city of London.' By the time the studio arrived, I'd absorbed the sounds of the city and I think they came through in the music, especially in 'Lost In London'.' ''Closer feat. Jem Cooke' is the follow up song with Jem Cooke after our collaboration from last year, 'Go On Then' (Leftroom). We recorded the vocals at Royal College of Music; I think the musical vibe of the place put her at ease that day. She's an amazing person and her voice is incredible. So happy to have linked up with her.' Kate's groove and rhythm heavy sound shines throughout the release - from the chords of 'Closer feat. Jem Cooke' to the bass pump of 'Out Of Order'. We're super happy to have her on board, and looking forward to hearing more from her in the near future!

SWEDENS MARTIN BRODIN WITH A WICKED MINIMAL TRACK WITH A REMIX FROM PIG & DAN

Sol Asylum is back with their third release, this time around a various artist EP featuring tracks from friends and family members Dana Ruh, Miss Jools, and Patrice Meiner. This solid collection delivers a heavily swung slice of style and class without ever losing its straightforward dance floor attitude.

The EP gets a proper start with Dana Ruh's 'Overcome.'A modern take on forward thinking house music with a cleverly swinging groove, pulsating filtered synths and provocatively soul stirring voices. All the rhythmical elements mold and evolve the track into a vibrant and energetic gem.

Next stop on our journey brings us to Patrice Meiner's'Uva'a broken beat dedication to his mother with fiery snares, atmospherically floating ghost like synths, intricately pitched hi-hat patterns and a tightly woven groove that is the signature sound we've all come to know and love from him.

Last but certainly not least is our trusted resident of Sol Asylum Miss Jools with 'Calamity Cloud.' Mysterious voices speak to us with an infinite realm of hovering synths, a playful but complex groove, driving hats, then a finely crafted layout brings us to alternate states between light and darkness creating a perfect balance that reminds us of a cloudy Berlin day.

For more than 10 years, Philip Bader has been mixing it up in the Berlin electronic muisic scene as a producer, DJ and label founder - no wonder then that his frst studio album, "Wishful Thinking", to be released on Berlin label Highgrade Records, is such an eagerly awaited piece of work.

Stroboscopic Artefacts is proud to welcome on board Singapore-based XHIN (Meerestief). With his production wizardryhe has been crafting ominous cuts of cutting-edge techno."Fixing the Error" is an enormous peak-time club killer.

Benno Blome and Adrian Martin have created a reminiscence of sound. Echoes calling from the past into the very moment you're in. *Echoes From Home* recalls the deepest and hidden treasures lying and waiting patiently inside your soul. Creatively complex in movement, the sound carpet is easy and accessible from every point of listening. A touch of incense from the past combined with today's visionary artistry of both performers. Close your eyes and follow the echo, the capturing flow from the original version. The 'Nico Stojan' mix is a sexy combination of the original flow with a touch of bitchy attitude added to the bass line. Perfect for a more hidden place near the dance floor while 'Kellerkind' has added a deep sassy feel to his interpretation of *Echoes From Home*. 'Pazkal's' remix concludes this trinity in a minimalistic clubby way. All three versions pay tribute to the original mix without losing either the original's or their own character.
This is *Echoes From Home*; the more you hear it, the more you want to play it!

From initiating the first studio sessions way back in 2004, Livio & Roby have fast become two of the foremost proponents of groove laden house, and as ambassadors of deep funk-blended tech-house they return to Steve Lawler's VIVa MUSiC with a 4-Track EP that utilises an early Detroit compound, sitting on the deep side of house music.

Livio and Roby have here produced four smooth percussive cuts with a naturally hypnotic and late night vibe - simple and organic warm-swung loops that drift towards the sounds of early house.

'A series of very special minimal funky music based on very small and sneaky samples, danceable music but very much influenced by architecture and by the idea of taking minimal by the word and leaving out as much elements as possible to bring the maximum within the minimum.' - Wolfgang Voigt on the Studio 1 series.
With this re-release of two tracks from Wolfgang Voigt's seminal Studio 1 series, Lisbon's Assemble Music turns the spotlight back on to what amounts to the basic grammar of most contemporary underground house and techno. Along with Basic Channel and the Concept series, Studio 1 has long been acknowledged as one of the forerunners of minimalist techno, though Voigt is at pains to point out the 'differences between their handwriting'. Rightly so, since neither Mark & Moritz nor Hawtin prioritised the funk and fizz that jumps out of these two tracks: 'Gelb' the determined younger brother to the more conventionally dubby (but no less groovy) 'Lila'.
Any producer who has spent long hours making minute adjustments to the interplay between the simplest of elements - kick, bass, snare, hats - should know they've been walking in Voigt's ever-so-well-placed footsteps. This re-release from Assemble Music serves as a reminder of where the music has come from; where it's yet to go will become apparent in the label's next release from Daze Maxim, with a remix from another of the scene's grandmasters, Peter Ford.'

DJ Dag und Dr. Motte, zwei Urgesteine der internationalen Technoszene, haben sich zu ihrem 25-Jährigen DJ Jubiläum als Krieger der Sonne verbündet. Having previously had releases on Visionquest and Italian imprint AMAM, AEON's fifth release is courtesy of Ukrainian producer and performer Qbeck. With the 'Don't Let It Fall EP' and as the latest addition to the AEON family Qbeck is the perfect candidate to bring a fresh take on the electronic music scene, supplying a sound that perches somewhere between minimal, tech and deep-house.
The EP begins in an inviting fashion with its title track 'Don't Let It Fall'. Featuring vocals from Nick Maurer who shone on DJ T's album 'The Pleasure Principle'. 'Don't Let It Fall' introduces a set of slowly refined melodic rhythms that gradually take place throughout the mix providing the spine of this brooding opener, leading the way for the following track.
'Rebound' seems to pick up where 'Don't Let It Fall' left off and continues to fold the listener deeper within the soundscape between the duelling background of sporadic synth lines and percussive hits.
Johannes Brecht's remix re-tailors the key elements of the track and aims it for the dancefloor, adding a pace and urgency in some of the more direct synth lines whilst engaging the melodic core of the original.
Qbeck's "To The Edge" features as a digital exclusive on the release and offers up an interesting juxtaposition to the bass driven foundations laid down by its predecessor. Favouring an arpeggiated synth intro against the rhythmical patterns that tie this cinematic cut together.
Francys, who recently released his 'Memories' EP on AEON, remixes 'Don't Let It Fall' into a kinetic and frenzied number that lives in the shadowy early hours paying tribute to the minimal groove that's kept throughout.

Being a part of the Berlin underground house music scene for many years, CUR.L is surely on newcomer to the industry. For this special release he teamed up with Berlin based producer YOKOO and they created the amazing PANORAMA GARDEN original track. Influenced by mystic vocals, groovy beats and atmospheric sounds, this track stands out by no means! The second original track is a production by CUR.L himself and it keeps the experimental yet sophisticated sounds he is well-known for. On remix duties are label boss PHILIPP ORT with a vocal based re-interpretation of PANORAMA GARDEN and the Australian DJ/production duo LIFE LESS ORDINARY who put their own musical influences into an amazing remix of PICO MALEA.

Fathers & Sons together this time on the FAS008 release. A Project started by sons who have joined forces and soul to express their sound in common..

Almost a year on from his well-received Crazy EP on Moon Harbour, Philip Bader is back with his third outing on the
label. This time he offers up Edge of Space, which features three new tracks that prove the producer of ten years
experience is still somehow improving with every release.

The title track 'Edge of Space' opens the account with an immediately dancey track that is rooted in deep, looping
drums. A nimble and supple bassline props the whole thing up as icy hi hats cut through the groove and vocal stabs
yelp out at funk inducing intervals. Subtle drum fills bring tension but the swinging groove is never far away and will
ensure dancefloors stay locked on from start to finish as that vocal and bassline continue to wrap around each other
in inciting ways.

On the flip side of this essential vinyl release is 'Still Rise', a collaboration with Highgrade regular and venerated
tech talent Daniel Dreier. This one is more fractured and trippy thanks to the squiggling synth line that scurries about
in techy drums and silvery percussion. Probing bass surges come in from below and filtered vocals rain down from
above and bring with them a sense of late night freakiness.

Finally, 'Houserism' gets dark and devilish thanks to the howling, shadowy bassline that runs underneath the whole
thing. The atmosphere is one from deep outer space and very real tension builds throughout, keeping you engaged
both with head and heel.

Once again this is crisp, expertly produced dancing music from Philip Bader that tells a slightly different story with
each track. Everyone is as compelling as the next, though, and as such you are sure to be happy to get lost in them
on the right dancefloors in the coming months.
