House Vinyl New Releases - News

Great Track from Nhar, which could be one of the summer anthems 2009. Teamed up by superb new Wacker & Zittrich Tracks !!!

The release number 12 on Giegling is a product of four individual tags of memories. Growing up in the same city Hannover the four producers Vril, Prince of Denmark, Leafar Legov and Herr Koreander share some part of a collective mind which led to this EP.

HOXTON RECORDS' - a new born record label which is based in east London and are mainly focused on deeper styles such as dub techno and minimal. Working with vinyls only they are hoping to release the best quality tracks and bring some new and well talented producers to the world of music.
The original by Ted Amber and Modebaku a.k.a. as the GyusFromNeighbourhood is a track that's deep from its origins for opening or finishing those sets that are worth remembering. Remixes including Nacho Bolognani which is more groovy and can fill peak time sets with a trully old scool feel and Matt Rich's interpretation which has a very unique lounge sound- perfect for sunny sunday terrace parties. If you want to sound original we believe this one is for you.
200 limited Vinyl Only copies, 180g, 12", (no digital).

Kjofol returns with a dazzling follow-up to YGROK-001 at the start of 2014. He takes his chilling, precise sound a step further and deeper with four tracks of impeccable production. The groaning static hisses, hung piano atmospheres and disembodied vocals of the opening track show that he is all business. Fusing live-sampled drum kits with micro impulses and seismic sub bass, 'Bruit Distinct' shows Kjofol's talent to make a propulsive dancefoor killer without needing to push the kick drum. The EP takes a beatless interlude, alternately ecstatic and sinister, in the form of 'Aisthe´sis'. Airy, and with a funk nonetheless, it shows Kjofol pushing the boundaries of his skills. The mayhem hinted at on the A side breaks through in force with 'Caracte`re Numineux'. A long form journey, it builds its energy in fits and starts of clanging melodies, bleeps and haunted spaces before reaching a bizarre, maniacal climax. Not for the faint of heart. The EP closes out with 'Faure´', a droning beat exercise in six minutes. A swinging, rolling groove dotted with machine groans and spurts. Mastered by Rashad @ Dubplates & Mastering.

Portuguese vinyl-only imprint Xquisite Recordings is finally back. Two years ago, Romanian
talent Ivel Tax cut the ribbon for the imprint's debut, dropping a very appropriately considered
exquisite' double tracker of carefully selected, uplifiting tracks. With solid drum programming
and a dreamy, hooky edge that moved heads, ears and feet worldwide, the kick-off for the imprint
started with great momentum. This time around, Xquisite places its bets on one of Portugal's
freshest talents, Cleymoore, along with a remix from worldwide known alchemist of
micro-grooves, Thomas Melchior.
The original track Seikou' is one of Cleymoore's typical hypno-expanssive tracks, with
twists and turns, multiple layering acts of swinging moods, and intricate but stripped-down
syncopated rhytms. Perlon's master of minimalism undresses the original work even further,
enhancing its dancefloor appeal with the bare bones of the original, placing focus in rhythmic
constructions while maintaining the highly hypnotic nature of the original version, and a very
personal twist with a added vocal.. like extra seasoning to a already tasty dish.

The cover is fully illustrated with a photograph of old Lisbon, making this a very intimate
and proudly nationalistic release for the imprint. Design by Diogo Lacerda. Limited Pressing.

Easy Changes Supposed Dolls EP is a welcome slice of audio that remains in the sweet spot between clubby-booty-shake and avant-garde-sound-grenade. There's more emphasis on acoustic tones as the sound sources for their audio bending activities. The added acoustic richness is in the service of Easy Changes' love of abstract texture, and heightens a sense of almost tribal funk. Will mix in and blow minds.

the new bang records !! contains a remix by brothers vibe !!!

With Playmusic Productions Andreas Lindemann aka Andy Lee is starting his new label physically and digitally. The aim is to provide high quality electronic music from tech- to deephouse, made for the dancefloor but apart from the mainstream. Every track gots a heart and a soul with remarkable potential to hypnotize the listener. Its that unique fusion of fluffy chord sounds, complex arrangements, a rollin' bass and groovy hooklines that makes the sounds so special.

The best example for this is the current first release done by labelhead Andreas himself. "Vivre Comme Un Coq En Pate" is the perfect playable tune for epic open air sessions and hot summer nights, accompanied by an awesome Dub Rework of only 14 years old producers Tim Engelhardt, who's really into the groove and perfect for every afterhour. Its just a great start up for a label that you should keep an eye on!

1 year later Contur is back with another great ep from Emi, this time using another one of his many aliases, Emi Nescu. Names were switched but the approach remains the same, you can feel is Emi doing his thing once again.

Simfru is particularly pumping with a pinch of melancholy now and then. Seems to be the all around track that you can play whenever wherever.

Sirius on the other hand is reminiscent of Constanta's atmosphere, one of the tracks from Contur 01. Powerful enough to make you dance anytime, this moody track is guaranteed to make you dream also.

the track many people have waited for !!! finally out now !!!

In his seminal essay 'The Work of Art in the Age of Automatic Reproducibility"("Das Kunstwerk im Zeitalter seiner technischen Reproduzierbarkeit", 1935/39), Walter Benjamin put forward the thesis that the work of art loses its aura due to the reproducibility. In the past, artists like Giorgio de Chirico or Andy Warhol have explored this thesis, be it with counterfeit versions of their own works or with multiple reproduction of a work (Andy Warhol's 'Thirty Are Better Than One"). Il N'ya Pas De Crocodiles À Codody takes up this discussion by questioning the very concept of an aura. Does a work of art have an aura at all and why should copies not have it To whom do we owe the aura term Is it the work of art, the artist or, indeed, the recipient, who by his perception creates a subjective aura Ultimately there are (no) crocodiles in Codody.

These two tracks come along with two remixes by Cansonn (Bar 25, Cityfox, GS) and Dread J (Neustadtmusik, Neh Owh Digital, Dimmer). DISMISSION already covers a wide range of the genres Neustadtmusik wishes to represent in their Portfolio.

"Teilstueck" (German for part or segment) is the next excerpt of Jacob Stoy's ongoing attempt to translate his surroundings into music. It's his second EP for Uncanny Valley and is even more multifaceted than his debut "Redenswart" from 2012. With "OMG" you'll get the feeling that something sublime will happen right from the beginning. It's one of those tracks whereby time stands still until a mighty synth-line unfolds in all its glory. "CFM" comes in the same musical vein with a similar and slightly melancholic bass-synth dominating the drumming. By far more cheerful is "MKM". Based on a catchy bass line foundation, Jacob Stoy showcases wonderful synth-effects and sound with the beautifully oscillated pad making the cut. This is House music for machine lovers. The flipside starts with "HIM" and probably the most floor-friendly track on the record. The slowly but steadily rising organ chords prepare things and when the carefully targeted percussion elements come in, it feels like summer will never end. In contrast, "QFL" lives from its mysterious atmosphere and is very good example for Jacob Stoy's preference to use Electronica-like sounds for his House Music. The record is rounded up with "HHM" and a little nod towards past times when he used to play in a Jazz band. With its Delay effects, a fuzzy guitar and a great bass melody it's not far away from Krautrock either. For the artwork Jacob Stoy teams up with fellow student Chris Dietzel.

Our sweetest friend Lawrence is back to mule musiq with four beautiful electronic dance tracks.

Versatile producer Nikola Gala gets set to release monster club track 'Only' on the prestigious Rekids imprint. A cut of driving, razer sharp techno, the rib-rattling bass and Detroit-esque synths will no doubt slay the most discerning dancefloors. Throw in a Ryan Elliott remix and you have yourselves an essential package.
Perfectly striking a balance between no-nonsense techno and high-octane house, original track 'Only' breathes a unique energy through earth shaking bass and powerful drums with rhythmic vocal snippets and vibrant synth stabs. The analogue textures building into an even bigger, vigorous drum groove, the vocal punctuates the tough framework with a lighter feminine touch. A classy banger, 'Only' is sure to keep the crowd in its grip from start to finish.
The now Berlin based Detroit legend Ryan Elliott steps up for remix duty, dispensing a provocative builder with a deep, hypnotic quality, shimmering shakers and deep pools of atmosphere. An internationally renowned DJ, remixer and one half of Spectral Sound's A & R team, Ryan brings his undisputed world-class style to this Rekids release, teasing out the essence out of 'Only', stripping it back even further and bringing the dancefloor to its knees.
Part of the exciting wave of Greek talents coming up in house and techno over the last decade, Nikola Gala is a prolific producer who has delivered his diverse sounds on an array of the undergrounds most discerning labels, including Ibadan Records, Freerange, Plastic City and of course Rekids, a label to which he's very proud to be attached. Inspired by the scene's many different levels and continually evolving as an artist, Nikola has been producing since 1995 and DJing since 2000. Now residing in Berlin, the city has had an impact on his sound but the ethos of Nikola's work remains the same: energetic music with an uplifting character and 'Only' on Rekids certainly hits the spot.
