Pional with a fantastic and deep release. Highly recommended !

Young Turks are set to release another great EP in 2013; joining FKA Twigs, Sampha and Koreless is Spanish producer Pional.

Some may know Pional as the John Talabot collaborator responsible for stand tracks "Destiny" and "So Will Be Now" from his critically acclaimed 'Fin' album - an album frequently ranked as one of the best electronic records of 2012. His Invisible/Amenaza EP brings the groove and audio-perfectionism of these collaborations but adds an unsettling sense of paranoia which brings the music depth and tension - "Invisible Amenaza" translates as "invisible threat". Pional's influences aren't really worn on his sleeve, but the forward thinking producer adds his influences of The Zombies, Roy Ayres, and The Police into a sound that manages to work on the dancefloor as well as the headphones.

Limited Clear Vinyl Pressing!

After having blessed the world with "Soarex" released on our sublabel IRR (International Records Recordings), including a remix by Ada, we would now like to welcome von Spar to Areal. And this time, the remix comes from no other than techno legend John Tejada. With "Jon Voight", the Hamburg-based artists have created another epic masterpiece in line with their earlier electronic tracks: Great emotions, melodies you will never forget... in other words: a track that will send something of a shiver down your spine. Tejada, of Austrian decent now living in the United States, shows full respect for the original version and comes up with a remix that has proven immensely effective on the dancefloor. It so effective that we still find ourselves awestruck in the studio. Well, in the meantime, we have to admit that we went out to one or two parties, but only to find ourselves back in the studio again, still awestruck.

Phat on the groove, thick on the basslines and yet subtile on the melodics. Early support Mathias Kaden, Matthias Tanzmann, Onur Ozer, 2000 and One, Lauhaus and Loco Dice !

Italy's Gianni Sabato and Alfredo Caforio, collectively known as Rush, release this eagerly anticipated four tracker on Memento Records. Showcasing their love for both abstract and deep grooves, the duo deliver an ep influenced by classic house music, echoing the sounds of the landscapes of their native homeland. "Lemonade", a lively tech-house groovy track, is designed for the dancefloor: the bass goes hand in hand with the percussions leading the bubbly rhythm, with vocal samples occasionally breaking down the pace and uncanny sounds filling in the empty background. "Les Amours"'s moody intro developes into a kick-driven obscure track, while "Little Zoo"'s screaming voices precede a housey 8-minute tune built around catchy synth melodies. "Uzury Says"'s deep-house feeling is characterized by distorted vocals, acqueous percussions and atmospheric pads. The product of two separate minds, this ep is a great example of how different ideas work just perfectly well when the need to make unusual music translates itself into a research for unexpected moods
and song structures.

8 tracks that are deeply intense in harmony and emotion that underline his organic sound structure once more.

Dutch contingent 'Dilated Pupils' provide the beats for the next double pack on FOF's vinyl only offshoot label.

Marcelus is back on his own imprint with a brand new EP, it's the fifth release on Singular records with Direct Drive EP.
As usual with the French producer, expectations are useless, this is an eclectic trip that shows once again his versatility, a mixture of force and subtlety on A side when B side combines deepness and voodoo... Definitely techno.

With hot re workings of Ricardo Villalobos' Enfants and Akefe Iku's huge Mirror Dance, and releases on worlds best underground house labels, the package is complete. October 2009 will see Spencer's debut release on 2000 and One' Area Remote label!

Boris Werner's style is what we call organic funky soul music !! Phat on the groove and thick on the basslines !! Played by Mathias Kaden, Matthias Tanzmann, Onur Ozer and 2000 and One, Loco Dice, Dan Curtin, ...

Oshana's first EP release with Brouqade is reminiscent of summer and good times past. REMINISCE opens with the soulful monologue, "I don't write love songs". A rhythmical gem is transformed into a colorful crescendo of evolving synth notes and chugging percussion. An enchanting love story transcends the limits of time beyond the seasons to come. Wiping away the melancholy, Alejandro Vivanco builds his Remix around an organic bassline core - patient and to the point. The emotional finale of the EP begins with pads which take hold of you while the percussion leads you on an endless journey. The deep house groove of this track is bound to demand the attention of house lovers and techno fanatics alike. The complex rhythmic structure of Dana Ruh's remix punctuates the sultry atmosphere, created straight for the dance floor!

After he caught our attention several times with a string of releases on such labels as Quintessentials for example, we are very happy to introduce Skipson as a new artist on our label. His influences can be found somewhere between labels like Classic or Music for Freaks for example

Systematic boss Marc Romboy debuts on Rebirth with 'Reciprocity', a stunning track
featuring the beautiful vocals from Bajka.

Working in electronic club music for over two decades, Romboy has co-founded and built
internationally respected dance-music labels and projects, never tiring of coming up with
fresh and innovative ideas to push the limits of electronic sounds.

In 1994, Romboy founded his first label Le Petit Prince that quickly became one of
Germany's most popular underground outputs, and in 2004 started his second
label, Systematic Recordings.

The first release 'Every Day In My Life', has been coproduced by Booka Shade, has been followed by music from artists like Robert Babicz, Stephan Bodzin, Steve Lawler and Dusty Kid, and EPs from Robert Owens, Blake Baxter, Chelonis R. Jones, Gui Boratto, Spirit Catcher and Phonique.

Consequentially Romboy also released his artist albums 'Gemini' and 'Contrast' on the label to great critical acclaim.

'Reciprocity' is an hypnotic and atmospheric track with the distinctive Romboy's drum
beats, a great use of synths, pads that give an intense mood...and the beautiful vocals
from Bajka. Born in India and currently living in Berlin, Bajka is vocalist, lyricist, songwriter
and a poet.

A unique voice, bubbling, sensual, and soulful , Bajka has been recording and
releasing music for almost 15 years, collaborating with artists like Bonobo for Ninja Tune,
Beanfield and Ben Mono for Compost and Radio Citizen for Ubiquity records.

The package includes also a great version from Chicago master Tevo Howard, back on
Rebirth with his trademark warm deep acid vibe...and an exclusive to vinyl Reprise
version. Something very special for our ears !

Big Summer Anthem from Oscar! with huges remixes from Wankelmut and Ozz!

We're still recovering from our big FIVE OH milestone, but the music never stops and this time we have something new from Souvenir wunderkind Re.You. It's been a pretty wild year for Marius Maier AKA Re.You, his live with Rampa debuting at Fabric at our label take over, plus dropping a massive 12 on Gigolo, plus solo releases on Avotre, Mobilee and of course his home away from home, Souvenir. This time round he brings the funk on 'Insanity' with a trademark, treated vocal serving from LIA. The track brings it real close, close enough for breath to from little droplets of condensation against a cold window. A niggling percussive interplay sends the track reeling all over the dancefloor, various creaks and whistles playing off each other until a solid bassline swoops in meaning business. What's known in the industry as a straight weapon! 'Lonely' follows with a more frantic tempo, a small drum pattern loops, throwing you with its slightly skewed beat. Some techy snares build the tension while some off key chords supply the haunted melody. On the flip Re.You brings it down a notch, going straight deep house. Again, his masterful use of ethereal vocal samples build both mood and drive the beat. An unintelligible phrase phasing out of sync until what seems like a percussive denouement, the bassline returning with gusto for a serious second round. 'Closer' gets a much more upbeat rework from Southern French producers Amine Edge & DANCE. They keep the vocal sample as a skeleton, but build up the track in much bubblier fashion, a playful synth line earworms while a chunky, dancefloor-friendly bassline punctuates the whole thing.

DEEP VIBES RECORDINGS returns to the fore with none other than notorious Frank Heinrich aka REBOOT, purveyor of masterfully crafted rhythm etudes and a highly respected member of Frankfurt's vibrant house scene. With DEEP_V, the Offenbach-bred producer brings his seething second album to Sascha Dive's imprint, bursting at the seams with intricate percussive bliss and nimble-footed grooves for the enthused dancer. The Reboot project certainly hasn't lost his flair for fine-grained, impressively bendy tracks since the very first full-length offering 'Shunyata' on Luciano's legendary Cadenza outlet, presenting a new set of underground cuts deeply ingrained in dance music's rich history of kinetic hypnotism. Honed to perfection, opening jam TORTOISE sets the tone with a pleasantly relaxed jog in the company of seemingly scattered drum fragments, nevertheless revealing a deliberate focus and polymorphic confidence at every turn. Following microbangers HARSH TIME FOR KIDS and CHE MELONI occupy themselves with slowly raising the stakes, growing bolder with each sequence and populating the dance floor with snazzy moves. The build-up leads to neotribal workout BANGING EAR DRUMS captivating the senses with a fine assortment of airy samples and driving drum patterns. Together with CD bonus tracks TANTRIC BEHAVIOURS and HOW PROVINCE SAVED THE FUNK - both every bit as oscillatory as their vinyl relatives -, this makes for a rather complete package from an artist who already excels at the art of living, breathing beats, but keeps on getting better before our very ears. Vital Sales Points: - Second Album by Reboot aka Frank Heinrich - Releases on Cadenza, Below, Defected, La Pena, Oslo - Extensive Global Promo + Tour

David Durango wraps up the second vinyl release with a crisp, polished Deep-Tech offering from Switzerland's effervescent pool of untapped talent. His productions blend technicality with a far ranging source of influences and styles enough to charm any dancefloor. From the opening basslines and syncopated snares, you know that "In love with you" is gonna get backfields in motion. David Durango spits his vigorous verbals over a pure filthy groovy EP.

After 32 quality digital only releases and after launching the careers of some very talented young producers Deep Edition have made the respected move into the world of wax and the only real obvious move to keep the label growing and gaining support from its peers, The first vinyl release, see's label head Martijn produce two original club tracks that form the 'Make Me Feel Ep', both are very close to the sound of the moment from the 'Hot' camp but are built on solid sub-bass & beats taking the sound into darker territories. Recently IDJ have hotly tipped Martijn as a one to watch and judging by this Ep it can only strengthen that claim.

On remix duties Deep Edition are very pleased to welcome One Records head honcho Adam Shelton! The main man behind Birmingham's infamous Sunday rave Below, now finds himself recognized as one of the most respected artists on the underground scene with top quality productions on 2020 Vision, Dame Music, Air London, Matt Tolfreys Foot & Mouth and of course One Records. Great Debut album by Matt Karmil

Almost a decade after his last Dial Records Album, after an enormous amount of releases on labels like Pampa, Mule Musiq, Ghostly International, Kompakt, Styrax and many more, Lawrence continues with a wonderful selection of extraterrestrial dance music: Films & Windows. From the first sparkle to the last whisper this album is dedicated to Angels at Night.
As the album title suggests, Lawrence as a cineast and voyeur is inspired by an endless number of screened movies and real life films, some only appearing while watching landscapes, stars and people passing by in front of a train window. While wondering through moments like this, strange ideas of colorful sounds will occur inside the mind of the musician.
