Returning after some time off, Two Dogs in a House took to a secluded studio in Stockholm Sweden during spring 2012 to record while on the road. Here we have the result of uninhibited access to machines with no time constraints and no distractions from the outside world. This freedom allowed the duo to expand upon their ideas of deconstructing conventional song structure and harnessing the power of what immediately surrounded them in the moment. Two full side tracks that will absolutely crush and/or isolate anyone who crosses through the sonic pathway of them. Perfect sounds for the apocalyptic world we live in.

After the last collaboration which saw them go out successfully on
Desolat, the label Loco Dice, finally and after so much hard work they
have completed their first album on Beatwax Records and have
entitled it 'A Young Long Trip'. Aldo Cadiz & Ricky Erre Love have now
been collaborating for two years sharing their ideas, dreams and
experiences. They are trying to get something positive across through a
unique audio experience that evolves over time. Although their stories
are different, they are interwoven in an artistic partnership, made
homogeneous and uniform through the use of hypnotic grooves that
are deep and overwhelming, and always enriched by delicate and
loving melodies that have made this project become a reality. We are
expecting an album that is intimate, engaging and full of surprises.
From Chile to Italy a long young trip continues!

Cocoon Recordings celebrates the 100th release! Well, to be honest, we are even over in the 100 meanwhile as our anniversary release needed some time to get well prepared and to make sure it will be a very special one. And 'very special' is not really hitting the spot here when we look at the package that we've prepared for you: A triple pack of 12 vinyl is waiting here including new and exclusive tunes by Lawrence, Nick Curly, André Galluzzi & Dana Ruh, Secret Cinema, Pig & Dan, Extrawelt, Recognition (aka Jacek Sienkiewicz) and last but not least two gems by Loco Dice and Ricardo Villalobos! However this is only the beginning as there is a double-CD, too that contains the tracks by the above standing heroes and further exclusive material by Dominik Eulberg, Minilogue, Sante & Frank Lorber, Popof, Timo Maas, Gregor Tresher & Petar Dundov, Electric Rescue and a track by Legowelt. And as its our 100th 'birthday' we added a pair of slipmats and stickers and made the whole packge a limited 'numbered' edition on top! So there is a lot of new food to support the current vinyl-renaissance and we hope to see & hear many of the Cocoon Recordings #100 tunes on the beloved wheels of steel around the globe over the next weeks! This should be the right package to celebrate the magic number 100 and it continues with our sound and philoso

Volume 5 featured erstmalig keinen hauseigenen Star, sondern überrascht mit dem äußerst charismatischen und mittlerweile gar nicht mehr so geheimen Geheimtipp Seth Troxler.

Moss Co. is a new creative venture from the founders of moscow records. The label releases intelligent underground music, focused around minimalistic combinations of groove and emotion. The first offering is a split release from label owner Archie Hamilton, and young Romanian talent Hozoc. Hamilton pulls rank and leads with 'Celine's Dub' which is ethereal, groove-led and filled with tension. Delicate tones, snappy percussion and warm bass fill the spectrum to gratifying effect. On the flip Hozoc is in heads-down mode on 'Drama' taking you on a bewitching 10 minute trip, packed with organic instruments and syncopated rhythms

The A-Side of the Zeitgeist Ep contains with Hardy's "Anytime" an universal track which lives up to one's name. The melodic synths guarantee a relaxed warm up vibe, but because of a smashing kick and bassline combination this unique Production also fits into a floating atmosphere. Marques Prata formed with his remix of "Anytime", Hardy's Production to a classically Tech-House hip-shaker, which lets nobody stand still. The B-Side including Marques Prata's "Klosterbass Melissengeist" a four-to-floor Tech-House track, which pushes everybody with latin touched percussions and driving hihats to the limit. Germany's Newcomer Hardy changed through his remix of "Klosterbass Melissengeist" the track into a straight Techno production, which perfectly fits into dark and dirt locations.

This 2x12" solidifies Jon McMillions idiosyncratic veteran's position as a producer of international stature.
Seattle producer Jon McMillion has been infiltrating headphones and weirding up clubs with his sublimely unusual techno and house tracks since 2006. His restlessly mutating output attains another bizarre peak with the Free Love EP, released jointly with his new pseudonym VisionWorks II. This new four-track single solidifies this idiosyncratic veteran's position as a producer of international stature.

Minimal Trend Records is a newly launched independent label whose objective is to produce and promote artists whose music is stylistically rooted in minimal electronic and anything related. The musical aesthetism defended by the label admits connections with post-modern qualities and challenges conventions for an innovative musical conversation between instrumentation and technologies. Minimal Trend Records intends to lead mainly classical vinyl limited editions.
The label offers here its first edition with a beautiful vinyl release limited to 300 handnumbered copies. It is a selection organized by Xiu (Oksana Rodionova), made of rare and unreleased tracks from various artists. The musical set delivers a refined collection of immediately minimal-synth sounding ambiences with some chiming minimal techno moments and amazingly cyber-industrial electronic grooves. A radical and dynamic sound-world which intends to illustrate an other original facet of Milan based underground electronic music.ctronic artists bas

In what was a definitive first year for the imprint, with two solid EPs from Petre Inspirescu and Vlad Caia, Pluie/Noir also endorsed numerous acclaimed Podcasts and served as the platform for various artistic endeavors embraced not only by their own artists but also by the world. To commemorate this achievement, and in a respectful manner to their long time collaborators, the imprint is now releasing a 12 track compilation spread across three 12's showcasing the various sounds that personify the imprint and give their artists a well deserved voice. The narrative to the compilation reflects the minimalistic musical template that is so dear to Pluie/Noir, where simple and complex structures meet along the way in the attempt of creating something that can last in time. Each track is a concise exploration of house music's skeleton, leaving nothing to waste, but never feeling in slightest bit sterile. It's surprising and unpredictable, but in an organized, artistic manner.

Desolat celebrate their 5th anniversary with a very special edition of their annual sampler- This edition not only sees artists from the Desolat family turn in exclusive tracks, but also sees Loco Dice supply a first mix on Desolat (DESOLAT MIX001). Loco Dice's 'Lolopopinho' picks up where his recent 'Toxic' EP left off: a groovy energetic whirlwind production that takes the listener on a head spinning journey into the recesses of the label bosses club-orientated mind. Shlomi Aber's 'Mancha' features a sublime bouncing bassline, whilst Yaya weighs in with a track that nods to a fantastically bright future. The latest talent to emerge from the highly respected Romanian scene is Horatio. His track 'How Much 909 Can You Take' serves up a warbling aural assault that will easily get feet stomping. Lucero en Vivo's 'La France' first surfaced in 2010 when it caused a stir on Dice's Amnesia Ibiza Underground 10 mix CD. A welcome addition to the sampler and finally getting the full release it deserves! The young blood of Desolat is rounded of by Alexkid's ethereal 'Enty' which provides some moodiness to proceedings. And of course the mainstays of the label have also turned in impressive productions. Hector's 'Amorphous Mass' displays the dark depths of the Desolat vaults, whilst the first lady of Desolat tINI turns in a warm intricate release in 'Room 305 And as if that was not enough, the release comes with a download code that allows access to all 15 tracks used in a Loco Dice mix available on CD with the cat. No. DESOLAT MIX001.
