Taking a step back into the past Franck Roger adopts a raw approach with his latest EP on Real Tone. Removing the comfort of working

via sequencers, Franck instills more of a 'live' feeling with the Love Is Always two-tracker.

Having been a prolific producer for quite some time now - he started making beats in 1999 - the Real Tone head honcho decided to inject

a raw spirit into his latest project by working around the live edit format. As the man himself says, "It's you with your external machines and your MPC".
A novel approach that has given birth to two warm, analogue-orientated tracks that evoke a sense of years gone by.
First up is the title track, Love Is Always, which evokes a deep sensual vibe. Building up from a funky, bouncing bassline the track uses its
simplicity to its advantage, taking charge with a smooth, soulful vocal clip as the bass continues to suck you in to its subterranean groove.
On the flip is When You Touch, again focused around a deeper, raw soundscape working off a traditional 4x4 beat and a hefty, driving
bassline. There's an aquatic feel to the track with a wobbling analogue groove and sultry organ chords swimming around the hypnotic vocal
hook. Gripping the dancefloor from the off and keeping you transfixed from beginning to end, its infectious spirit is impossible to shake off.
To add to the live nature of the tracks, they have been recorded straight to a DAT with the errors still intact. For this EP it's all about removing
reliance on computers and unleashing pure vibes... ...and we're sure you'll agree that these two tracks have vibes in abundance.

Minimal, techy with bounce, swing and a lethal hollow bass; this is how Lil' Silva kicks off 2013.
Already receiving support from the scene's pace setters Mickey Pearce, T Williams, DVA, Bok Bok and Shy FX 'The Split/Venture' is in the series of white labels Silva is releasing himself on LS Whites.
Limited to 500 copies on white vinyl, previous LS Whites have sold out quickly.
The 'The Split/ Venture' release is Silva's parting shot to a year that will see him release a full EP in Spring.

Diynamic virtuoso Stimming returns with a classic three-tracker, showcasing his skill and
everlasting talent to surprise. Again and again he reveals that his name stands for quality and

'DX Love (Kris Wadsworth's Zombie Surfer Remix)' opens the EP here and in true Wadsworth fashion embraces a raw, dubbed out Detroit vibe. Punchy drilling beats and underlying twisted melodies drive the track alongside a penetrating arpeggiated bass-line; the result is a moody, peak-time slow bloomer with a touch of class as expected from the Detroit master.
Underbelly Records return this January with a three track EP from Dutch producer Wouter De Moor, entitled 'DX Love' and backed with a remix from Kris Wadsworth.
Wouter De Moor's career has been steadily evolving since 2009 with releases on Bla Bla, Remote Area, Trapez and Paco Osuna's Mindshake. De Moor's association with these labels has led to a busy touring schedule, taking him across the globe to South Korea, China, Spain, London and the infamous Cocoon Club in Frankfurt. Underbelly Records launched in 2011 and the label has already released cuts from the likes of Maya Jane Coles, Alex Arnout, Klartraum, and Matt Tolfrey & Sam Russo.

With our 3rd release, we present the musical world of the three young guys from Acidfactory. After beeing part of our "Skytrain/Debajo del Sol"-EP, they open another perspective of modern electronic music, remixed by Lebensfreude labelowner Gunne and the upraising artist Andy Kohlmann.

The titel track "rush me" fuses the Steinbergian House style with the Lo-Fi charm of the roaring 20's. IT comes over slightly poppy but with a very relaxed and laid back groove. Steinberg at his best!

Sometimes things trun out different than planned. That also applies for remixes one does for other labels: "The Lost Remixes" features two personal favourite Remixes by Sascha Dive, now seeing a release on Vinly for the first time.

The 2nd E.P taken from Jon Convex's debut 'Idoru' L.P is a turn for the darker side than its predecessor. On these two limited 10"plates, Convex transports us into a cold and 'Dystopian' future. Sharp metallic edges and automated machine drones cut through 'Aversion' then pushes your eardrums through the airlock into deep space on 'Desolation'. Here synthesised waves sweep you into the hard vacuum of filtered bass progressions. 'Four Faces' continues the hardened theme with its pulsing synthetic kicks and interlocking mechanical structures, creating a tense claustrophobic environment.
After a strong critically well received collaborative effort on Martyn's 3024 label, dBridge makes another appearance with Convex Industries on EP#2. dBridge features as his fast evolving Velvit moniker. Convex morphs the Velvit vocals over a hi-tech bass work out on 'What I need' pushing a distinctive Chicago house feel throughout the tune.
Jon Convex is serves up his refined technique with his cutting edge productions that became synonymous with his partnership of the genre defying Instra:mental.

We are proud to welcome aboard Valentina Black with her debut vinyl EP "I found a Blue Heart".
Valentina Black is a singer, songwriter, composer, hammond player and pianist. She sang and played in a recording session (Freedom Jazz Dance) with the legendary Frank Zappa's drummer Jimmy Carl Black.
Valentina Black's musical roots are based on Jazz, Spiritual and Funk, she then approached djing and the electronic music's environment.
She also expresses her passion for visual arts, painting her own beautiful label artwork for the release.

The key track, "Blue Heart", is a great piece of deep house song where Valentina wisely uses her voice creating a texture of rhythmical elements and developing a very interesting and peculiar weaving of vocal choruses which, arranged by the use of chords and pads, gives a romantic and emotional tension to the song.

The B-side of the package composed of the tracks "Dancin' Delicious" and "Yo Soy Tu Amigo", concentrates more on the typical tech-house percussive elements (such as vocal elements and drums), an experimental use of vocal parts and very functional and deep sub basslines to create two amazing dancefloor killers.

Aninha and Antonela Giampietro (Warung Beach Club, 24bit) take the key track to a more minimal, deep dimension while Less Hate (digital only) (Kindisch, GrooveOn), pump it up with some cool grooves and a highly functional bassline!

Arma Label keeps exploring sound landscapes frequently reporting the results to it's growing audience. The
fourth release featuring 'Bourbon Skies', track by Area / m50, convoyed with DJ Sprinkles and Vakula's remixes,
completes the label's production plan for 2012.
Original track's author is known for creating spacious tunes with a balance of abstraction and dancefloor appeal.
'Bourbon Skies' is right there - authentic Chicago sound. DJ Sprinkles drags the theme into different dimension
transforming beat into ritual one, making vocal part by Keter Darker almost transparent. Vakula changes the
mood dramatically. Now track is shining reflecting happiness in crystal water drops.

Sixth single in FORT KNOX FIVE'S "RADIO FREE DC REMIXED" series. THOMASBLONDET puts his hands on "SAO FUNKY", FUZZBOX gets heavier with "PAPA WASSTONED", and STEREOTYP gives two version of "THE WONDER STRIKES AGAIN"because one wasn't enough (FORT KNOX loved them both.)

Finally available on vinyl, without pretension or smug justification of "clever" sampling, is the Improper Trax rework of the Chicago '80s classic "It's You." Held high by many a DJ as the "superior" version of the highly limited late 2012 cover, thanks to its floor-focused treatment and unabashed preference to jack, it's made the rounds at Panorama Bar, Fabric, Smart Bar, Rinse.FM and pretty much every other fine dance music institution around the globe. Despite antagonizing copyright claims on Youtube, empty threats from fake lawyers, and tough-guy chest-thumping from boastful Belgians, "The Heat" flips the dial to "fuck you" and lays it out for The People to just enjoy without all the elitist posturing. With that said, the "IMPROPER TRAX" begin!

Culprit's last release of 2012 represents an emphatic statement of creative intent from another young production team whose star is in the rapid ascendancy. Swiss duo Adriatique's Culprit debut, 'Face to Face' EP feels like a first confident step toward what may become one of the label's defining artistic relationships in the new year.
The four track EP meets the Culprit grade with style: brimming with fine musical ideas, genuinely conceived and precisely executed modern electronic house, perfectly in tune with the times yet projecting an individual and coherent style. Eskimo presents :: the limited edition Eskimonde 10" series, part II

Aeroplane - I Don't Feel (Deetron Vocal + Instrumental Remix) is the second in a series of Eskimonde 10" releases. Limited edition, with exclusive artwork.

This remix of I Don't Feel is actually the only remix ever made of this superb Aeroplane track, featuring the legendary Merry Clayton on vocals. It was made by one of house and techno's most precise operators, Deetron.

The vocal version is featured on the Remixed disc of our anniversary box 'Eskimonde - A decade of Eskimo Recordings', which contains 12 new and unreleased remixes. Now it will be available on vinyl too.

The 10" is backed by the yet unreleased Deetron Instrumental Remix of the track. A must-have!

For more than 10 years, Berliners Martin Books and Alfred Heinrichs have been, and done a lot more than be partners in producing electronic music, they have also been best friends, as some would say: 'mates'.They are passionate about having fun, and their list of shared activities includes wakeboarding, snowboarding, motor-cross and cycling. So it was always clear to both men that they should combine their experience in electronic music to produce and release an album together on vinyl. Martin Brooks was able to collect a range of experiences early on, both nationally and internationally, as a long time musical companion of Telemen (Multicolour).As a band member he played at festivals such as Melt, SMS, Rave On Snow, Hessentage and many more. Alfred Heinrichs, the founder of Supdub Records and a part of Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner, also has many years of musical success behind him, and is enthusiastic to show his followers this new development in his uniquely special sound.He has impressed crowds all over Germany and around the world, performing at Panorama Bar, Berghain, Watergate, Bar 25, Katerholzig and as far away as Australia and Japan.
