Corking new remix 12...!! Spacepops (originally released on doser009) getting some special treatment from Donato Dozzy - one of our heroes from the more psychedelic & percussive side of the techno world. The track hints towards 'club use' while luring ears into the avant garde through seductive tweaks of the EMS Synth,. Freak Inspector, from Madteo's infamous Memoria album, gets a total re-mash by Jamal Moss aka Hieroglpyphic Being- left to brew for a few years in the Morphine curing closet and now at optimum maturity for it's release. Two masters of their respective games meeting over the sides of this 12' with more in common than we'd previously imagined...TIP!

Maestro is a term of extreme respect given to a master musician. Typically associated with classical music, it's not something you'd immediately associate with more modern forms of music, house and disco included. But then, why not In terms of culture you could argue that these close cousins are just as influential on modern day society as their more archaic classical grandparent. Of course, you'd have to use it appropriately.

Slag is a live Techno band consisting of equal parts musicians and DJ's. The four experienced men draw on their experience from record shops dance floors and film-/ theater-music and have the common passion for Techno in their neural pathways. With the passion for electronic music and classic synthesizers, they created a sound black as oil and white as freshly fallen snow. The band varies their performance with a large portion jam elements and makes their live shows tension-filled in both club and concert performances. A concert by Fire Slag starts in the deepest dub and ends in a furious techno ballad.

For it's 7th release, Life and Death presents a series of newcomers to the label (as well as a few familiar names) as it presents an evolved and updated version of the sound that has rightly had this young label on the lips of a diverse movement of devoted fans across the globe. Moody yet not morbid, futuristic but not foreign, modern but not without class, this collection of 6 tracks clearly points a direction for a label that has always prided itself on not following trends, even when the trends are ones it may have even helped create itself.. Moving over to the 2nd part of this double vinyl release, those music lovers who haven't been living in a cave for the last 2 years might have heard a few things about the artists behind "Big Sins". Tale of Us are the Italian duo (with American and Canadian roots) that have risen to meteoric heights over the last few years with releases and remixes that have helped define the Life and Death sound. Meanwhile Ryan Crosson, one of the visionaries behind the Visionquest label and DJ collective, has artfully mixed his Detroit past with his current European environment to develop his own signature sound -- one that gels quite well with his Italian counterparts for this unique slice of atmospheric techno. A driving bass that nimbly rests around a sparse but well laid out frame, it gives enough space for the mood to slowly sink into the listeners' bones without assaulting it so much that any of the subtle nuance is lost. Truly beautiful. Building from there Roland Appel and Christian Prommer, two producers who are consistently put on a pedestal by their contemporaries for their musical prowess, join together their big bags of tricks to create a total dancefloor killer that sounds like it was sent back in time to assassinate any preconceived notions of what the future of music should sound like. "Return of the Aquarius" is like a lightening bolt that strikes directly at us at as we ride across the precipice of this new modern age. As the precession of equinoxes marches forward, here is a grinding soundtrack for its bacchanalian devotees. A twisted soundtrack for a twisted time as one reality comes to a close and another begins a new. And from the flames of the burning of the old rises the hopeful ecstasy of the new. "Tausend" sounds like a loveletter from our future as we experience the joy of what we might one day become. Emotional and moving are good descriptions of both the music and its creator, Christian Löffler. A new shining star leading the forward charge of electronic music today, Löffler combines both acoustic materials and electronic elements to create stirring music that touches souls while moving bodies. A brilliant example of what dance music can be when it straddles that fine line between functional dancefloor necessity and pure artistic vision. A perfect fit for Life and Death and a fine coda for the stellar lineup of talent presented here.

Petre Inspirescu's music is not one easy to describe. his cross genre productions have always filled the gap between dance music and various influences, classical most often. just like the previous album on (a:rpia:r) Gradina Onirica has got it all. it starts with an IDM monster then continues with a laid down minimal house. what comes next a trippy jazzy techno track followed by a guitar driven atmospheric experiment. he returns to the dance floor in his own manner with the next two pieces leaving enough room for the closing seminal track. Atena Garciu and her violin return for the finish.
Gradina Onirica comes as a gate folded 3 x 180g vinyl with 7 tracks inside and a beautiful painting outside. limited to 700 copies.

"Mogahertz" is the producer of the new publication on Sonoro
Records. The second vinyl release "Les Panoplies Couleur" attempts to
combine minimalistic house with dry sounds and trampling harmonic
grooves. The new Sonoro EP is complemented by Friendly trumpets,
natural sounds and parcussive instruments.
The Remix from "Miss Sugar" it´s a minimal funk track, with powerful
bassline and elaborated groove, can bring you in the shadows and
make you dance in a dark spectral atmosphere.
"Dubphone" bring us to the oldschoolvariation, warm sounds, chilling
atmosphere... It's the right track that you should listen drinking a
fresh long-drink to the beach at the sunset.
Ambassador, the second original Mogahrtz song, transported lovely
feelings and mysterious sensations. That evocate you in a parallel
world. "Sonoro" put in the market a complete release with all the

An epic piece of heaviest dub business plus a slice of big room dub techno on the flip.
Having hinted at upcoming collaborations on BLKRTZ over the last months in several interviews, Deadbeat finally makes good on his promises offering an epic piece of heaviest dub business featuring the unmistakable vocoder stylings of Canadian Danuel Tate of Cobblestone Jazz fame. Title track Lazy Jane locks in a murderously tight 135 bpm steppers rhythm sure to appeal to fans of both the Burial Mix series and Mala's most head down exploits for DMZ alike, with Tate's heaven streaking vocal elevating it to the realm of instant classic from the very first drop. The flipside's 909 dub meanwhile sends the original's synth and vocal lines deep into the echo chamber atop a reinforced version of the bass line and unrelenting 909 drum pattern to create the most classist, purified slice of big room dub techno you're likely to here all year.

Dream Hailing from the 'Pearl of the West", Hector's upbringing in Guadalajara, Mexico - a city occupied by distinguished poets, writers, painters, actors, film directors and other creative souls - has partially influenced his strong interest in the electronic mix-culture and nurtured his knack for edgy house beats. Taking to his passion at the ripe age of 16 and later becoming a key player on London's infamous house circuit, it wouldn't be long before mobilee welcomed in some fresh air to their Berlin imprint. Now, two releases and two compilation appearances later, Hector will release his third 3-part EP under mobilee's 104th edition. 'The Hand Of Hec' dominates the A-side with a single interval beat garnished in tambourine strikes collecting upbeat melodies, voice samples and various noise elements along its seven minute journey. This track embodies Hector's 'anything goes' attitude with rubber-band notes that snap back into full-fledged grooves. The flip-side represents a more daring and experimental side of Hector as 'King Of The Yard' incorporates multitudes of funky sounds, samples, vocals and other quirky gadgets. Fast-paced and sensational, this track is home to the long lost jitterbugs. Wrapping up the B-side is 'Start Stop Dream", a relaxing lullaby that cradles the comedown with tame beats under a calm sky of shooting lasers.

Soma are proud to present the return of Envoy to the label. The enigmatic Hope Grants return is started with an imaginative and unique reworking of Soma classic 'Seawall' by Chilean wonder producer Ricardo Villalobos.
Ricardo's remix of Sea Wall opens the EP with his unmistakable percussive sound bouncing in from the get go. Stripping the original back to it's finest elements, he manages to create a deep, emotive version of Envoys epic original. Flourishes of high hats and cut up vocals add to the fantastic groove created by Ricardo, the track breaking every so often into those unmistakable chords!
The original mix of Envoys Sea Wall also features on this special release. The classic Soma sound is found right in the very heart of this Neo Detroit epic. Deep, filtered synths swirl gently in the background and a fantastic 909 drum workout punches through a funked out baseline while that instantly recognisable pad line tears through your soul.

London label, Save You Records celebrate their twentieth release with a superb four track EP featuring music from Ste Roberts, Youandewan, MarcAshken, Kris Wadsworth and Jay Tripwire..
Save You Records launched back in the summer of 2010 with a remit to release fresh and exciting house and techno from upcoming artists and established names. In the intervening two years they have become one of the most interesting labels around, shunning the notion of sticking to one genres and releasing a string of outstanding singles that have really grabbed the imagination of music lovers, DJs and press alike.
Now to celebrate their twentieth release the Save You team has put together a pretty special EP featuring some of the hottest producers around. The 'Rapscallion EP' kicks off with Hypercolour and Initials co-owner Ste Roberts who drops the wonderful 'Tram & Pier', a tough slice of rolling techno that marries Detroit influences with tight drum programming to create a deep, hypnotic winner. The second A side cut sees Roberts in play again as his 'Week 8' is reworked by the ever-excellent Youandewan, who delivers a stunning and emotive slice of spacious dub techno.
On the flip things get going with the inspired pairing of MarcAshken & Kris Wadsworth, the latter remixing Ashken's 'Feeders' into a twisted and off kilter affair. Haunting melodic riffs, distorted pitch shifted vocals and beautifully layered percussion all come together to make a record that is dark and edgy yet a guaranteed floorfiller, sublime stuff! Finally Jay Tripwire steps forward with a new edit of his track 'Sad & Beautiful World' a sumptuous dub techno affair that rightfully sees its way to vinyl here.
Save You Records have compiled a package here that cannot fail, featuring five standout producers and four sterling pieces of modern techno, enjoy.

He has already made his name in the music biz with his releases on AFULAB like BANGO BANGER, BAM BAM BAM, ABFAHRT EP and numerous others, but always delivers his most advanced and progressive productions on his motherlabel AFULAB.
The first 12 inch contains four tracks in his unique peak-time style, dancefloor fillers for sure, that has found its way into the cases of many big and diverse names like Richie Hawtin, 2000 and One, Butch, Stephan Bodzin, Mihalis Safras ("felix is one of the hottest producers!), aso. This is his first long player that will be released as three coloured 12 inches and the third will include the cover to fit the three maxis and the album CD with extra tracks !
