The first "Treibjagd-Records" - Vinyl starts with the Clubbanger "SIM BOUAH" from PELE a very talented 28 Year old Artist from South-Germany who releases on labels like Connaisseur, Get Physical, Upon.You, Supernature, My Best Friend, Kindisch, Monique Musique - and upcoming in 2012 on Cocoon. This EP gets out in May with some upfront Remixes from PARIDE SARACENI & DEMA, DJOKER & ILL-BOY PHIL and DANIEL PSCHEID.

Arpiar is back with the Romanian Technohero Petre Inspirescu. After his huge succuess with his fantastic release on Cadenza, the DC10 resident toured around the globe to present his dry but very funky sound in the best clubs.

Ama Recordings kicks off 2013 with a stellar various artists release entitled 'Welcome 2013', featuring tracks from Nekes, Alex Piccini & Mr. Bert, Giuliano Lomonte and Bolumar. Ama Recordings had a fantastic 2012, welcoming the likes of Mobius Stum, Little Fritter, Chris Carrier and M.in to the roster. Here the label kick starts a fresh year with a four track va, introducing Alex Piccini & Mr. Bert, Giuliano Lomonte and Bolumar to the imprint and label-head Ray Okpara, again enlists the services of forever on-point producer Nekes. 'Ladilala' by Nekes opens the release, the Oslo boss implants his signature hooky, driving motion on the cut with punchy, linear drums and sporadic ride splashes adding a jazzy shuffle. A bulbous subbass line is introduced to the focal point of the cut alongside a moody pad line that smoothly evolves throughout the track, resulting in a heady peak time cut. Next up is Area Remote artist Alex Piccini, teaming up with Mr. Bert for 'Abbey', a percussive, groove-led track built upon organic drums and boomy sub-bass. The cut evolves with delicate intricacies hidden in the background depths as perc one shots creep in and out and intermittent reverb bursts and delays build an expansive atmosphere. Giuliano Lomonte delivers 'Rare Times' next, a raw, rolling house record employing punchy 909 drums, offkilter claps and an infectious shuffle as its driving force. Lomonte then introduces a heavily manipulated spoken word vocal to the breakdowns adding impact to the drops...

Æternum Music - New Label form Paris brings us superb reduced house tunes!!

In the beginning there was the funk. A magical power source of unknown origin. Myth upholds that Michal Ho
once showered his limbs in this fountain of creativity, and thus earned him his fantastic powers. A more
traditional accounting would perhaps uphold that Michal Ho was initiated to electronic club music by the likes of
Photek and Moritz von Oswald. His bass-bouncy and sampladelic techno style certainly has earned him a
community of fans across the globe. And his quirky collaborations with Samim have positioned him comfortably in
the hall of fame of Swiss electronic music heroes. He is, as Resident Advisor once tagged him, "not your average
minimal techno guy". Returning from his 2011 album "A Minute for Everyone" for Jay Haze's Tuning Spork label,
Mr. Ho has produced a downright slammer for Zurich imprint Nice Try Records. The somewhat ironically titled
"Don't Rush" is a bass-driven hypnotic monster, topped by jumbling vocals. Contexterrior boss and long-time
musical friend Jay Haze delivers a remix that offers a likewise punchy version of this minimal funk gem. On the
flip side, Michal grows into the sampler kid he was and always will be. On and on. Yeah, we're mesmerized.

An outstanding highlight in this year's late summer is presented by the stars of the Berlin Label Supdub. For this year's first time the DJ Duo Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner (also well known as Alfred Heinrichs & Sascha Braemer) is producing together again. Resulting in the EP Sad Sunday, they created a true appetizer for their upcoming album. However this is not all to the new EP. In addition to Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner's new song, Dan Caster & Sascha Braemer as well as René Bourgeois & Andy Kohlmann created their very own interpretation of this marvellous Sunday after hour feeling disguised in a song. Their work will also be found on the new EP. The new song creation Sad Sunday has already been successfully performed by the Duo on various gigs. Thus, the idea developed to eternalize the track(s) respectively as original(s) together on an own disk. Listening to this good piece of music, the intention of the creators will soon be crystal clear - to transfer the well known feeling that arouses after the party stops and you slowly come back down to earth, realizing that you left the wonderful party dreamland behind and are now heading back towards your daily routine. Furthermore the track tries to foment the desire for the next weekend by being endowed with deep and exhaustive vocals. The Sad Sunday EP is implementing its theme on all levels, providing a formidable sound for a frolic sound pleasure.

Hot on the heels of release 050 from Tiefschwarz with Argenis Brito on vocal duty, comes a neat remix package with contributions from David K, Strangers in Heaven and Re-UP. French producer David K has released on all the major Parisian labels, Freak n' Chic, Rue De Plaisance, Jetaime amongst others. Here he serves up a double dose, his 'Allegro' rework anything but, the vocals twisted out of recognition into a muttering chorus of demonic gremlins, while the mutant drums steadily beat out an ominous tone. A distant marimba and the odd piano chord that's left hanging, a quizzical non sequitur, lift the melody. On the flip, David's 'Grand Piano' pairs a shuffling, almost jazzy beat with a shower of tinkling pianos, the vocals washed with melancholy from the keystrokes that slowly morph into plucked strings. Souvenir's very own mysterious twosome, Strangers in Heaven, beef up the kick and make the bassline snake and swirl, turning up the groove factor. The vocals provide respite from the tension, while skittering synth sounds come up close against the hypnotic beat. Upon You stalwarts Re-UP take it deep, a throbbing bassline playing off the tightest of snare hits, a squelching synth hitting suddenly and a distended voice appearing too out of nowhere. It's a total transformation, none of the original parts distinguishable, as if seen through a prism of the unsettling.

Sabo & Melo strip down the Strictly Rhythm classic "Go San Do" from The Tribe; Sazon Booya deliver "Ode to Hector; Kingman Fire go reggaeton w/"Esmeralda Suite"; Munchi gives us "Te Gusta Mi Mambo Mami". Mucho sabor!

Feelharmonic proudly welcomes Birke TM to our label with his debut EP 'Oro Jackson'. The young German producer steps up to the mark with the warm, extra-deep title track 'Oro Jackson' leading the way followed by the storming 'The White Tree', a cut created specifically with the underground party scene in mind, while 'All Star Swing' is a gentler and emotional groover. When it came to remixing 'Oro Jackson' we had only one man in mind, Birke TM's friend Iron Curtis who delivers a brighter and more soulful interpretation of the original.

m=minimal released the vinyl of this classic record last year and as the cd has been unavailable for a long time too, we decided to make a special edition. This album was first released as - Con', the name - Ballet Statique' was only chosen for a re-release and it was not the idea of the artists to rename it.So we decided to give it it's old name back. Our special edition comes with a cardboard slipbox with - Ballet Statique'. If you take of the slipbox, you hold - Con' in your hands. Also included is a 24 pages booklet with photographs and liner notes by Wolfgang - Sequenza' Seidel, a long time musical partner of Conrad Schnitzler. As bonus track, a copy of the - red cassette' is included. On one stereo channel you hear the rhythm part on the other the synth track, one side of the cassette on each channel.This more then 30 minutes long version has never been re-released before.The cardboard slipbox edition is strictly limited to 1000 copies.

Der Titel Rope widmet sich voll und ganz dem melancholischen Lied der Sängerin, hintergründige Streicher und verträumte Ambient-Zitate scha en ein Gefühl von Filmmusik. Genau das greift auch der Mollono.Bass Remix auf, jedoch ist die Handlung seines Drehbuchs von den Trommeln ferner Länder und dem nächtlichen Reiz einer exotischen Metropole geprägt. Der Titel Dive atmet ebenfalls durch die ergreifende Ausdruckskraft jener Stimme, hier kommen gebrochene Beats dazu, die sich mehr und mehr gerade ausrichten und eine unterschwellig stimulierende Note erzeugen. Inspiriert von diesem subtilen Aufbau präsentiert Mollono.Bass eine Hauptzeit-taugliche Überarbeitung, treibender Groove und schnittige Percussions holen den Zuhörer vom einleitenden Gesangspart ab und tragen ihn dann hinaus in die hypnotischen Weiten des Klangraums.

- mantle' is already pixel's forth release on raster-noton since his debut in 2003 and a further exploration of his approach to rhythm-driven, electronic music.the overall atmosphere which is produced by the fragile but nevertheless complex sounds is gloomy and quite threatening. deep, pulsating basses are accompanied by ominous and ferce tones which emerge like fashes of light or shock waves, giving the impression of being warning signals, and the few calm moments of the tracks are constantly disrupted by dark drowns. if this is the future, it will not be very bright. but all the precisely generated sounds, which seem to be produced by industrial machinery, are by no means lifeless. actually it seems like the automats are tuned to funk, resulting in a polyrhythmic, driving and impulsive composition one cannot escape from.

Dilek Records surprises once again with this pink vinyl edition including original productions by Jose Wated and Encebolladoman, from Ecuador. This brand new release also offers the remixes of Brett Johnson, Arquette and Nadja Lind, for a perfect balance between different styles. Satisfy My Soul EP is made of two original tracks, three remixes and a digital bonus, to love and discover.

Jose Wated is one of the most influential faces of Ecuador's electronic music scene. He started playing and releasing music in the 90's, with diverse aliases and groups. In 2009, he created one of the most popular festivals in Ecuador, called 'Montañita Dance Music and Arts' and also co-founded the Electromundo Parties, where he had the privilege to perform and present artists such as Seth Troxler, Mr. C, Franco Bianco and many others. After playing in every South American country, he focused on producing new sounds, but also by keeping that old-school vibe, which has become his main signature. 2013 is a year full of novelties for Jose, since his first vinyl EP will see the light at Dilek Records and it's also his first release produced in collaboration with Encebolladoman also known as Eduardo (the best kept secret in the Ecuadorian arsenal), who added his amazing vocals and productions skills to Jose's already astonishing work. This is definitely a true collaboration between two friends, full of talent.

The first Renaissance 'Masters Series' of 2013 comes courtesy of DJ, producer and label owner Nick Warren. This is not only his first compilation for the clubbing institution since 2001 but his first full solo outing over two CDs.
The mix was a joy to do. It had been a while since I had done a downtempo mix for a compilation and with the success of my Soundgarden Radio show I thought the time was right for one again. CD1 is a mix of new and old, the ambient mixes are always a bit tougher to find all new material for, and tunes like the Bubble Club track were missed by a lot of people when it was released last year. CD2 sums up where I am as a DJ right now: a mixture of deep melodic house and techno plus a euphoric ending. Like all great mixes, it is ultimately far more rewarding to sit down and absorb the sounds than read about them. The nigh on 160 minutes of genuinely engrossing, eclectic music tells the sound of Nick Warren. There's no quick start guide for this: it involves commitment.
Nick has achieved much in dance music: playing across the planet as Massive Attack's tour DJ, era defining compilations for Renaissance, Global Underground and Back To Mine, timeless music and live shows as Way Out West and residencies at all of the key clubs; Ministry of Sound, Cream and of course Renaissance. In Nick's present he continues to play out across every continent, whilst also maintaining Hope Recording's high quality output. Driven by a continual desire for change, his sound is no better represented than by his bi-monthly radio show Soundgarden on Friskyradio, which attracts over 150,000 listeners to each broadcast.
2012 saw Renaissance celebrate their twentieth year of activity. They returned to Ibiza for a sterling season at Pacha, a series of special 20th Anniversary events in the UK, headed by Sasha and, towards the end of the year, John Digweed, and instigated a new series of high quality mix compilations; Tale of Us, Francois K and Slam are all lined up for releases in the first half of 20
