House Vinyl New Releases - News

Almost four years after his last Dial Record single ,Miles" Lawrence is back with another tribute to the sun.

Played & supported by Loco Dice, Afrilounge, Solomun, David K, Danny Tenaglia, Matt Tolfrey, Ripperton, Dan Drastic and many more. Superb follow-up to their last EP by Helly Larson & Rik Elmont.

LEICESTER BORN TECHNO ARTIST ROBERTO WITH AN EP FOR JAMIE ANDERSON'S ARTFORM LABEL. ROD & GREG GOW ON REMIX DUTIES.

Dusty Baron aka Latecomer may be a recent arrival on the scene, but he plays like a true veteran. A mysterious export from the around same eastern latitudes as label boss Vakula, his music, much like V's, sounds just as rooted in the post Soviet Russian landscape as it is in the post industrial North America which gave rise to all the soul and machine funk that is the driving inspiration for so many of today's roots conscious electronic artists.

Vakula takes the controls on Side A with dubwise and exotic production skills whilst Side B showcases The Baron's heavy heavy chops, with drum programming as deft as his keys work, and a sound which is equal parts earthly and heavenly. Sides C & D (on bonus 7") see V step up to offer two takes on 'Follow Shot', continuing the theme of techno tinged jazz cosmism.

A noble introduction, by way of collaboration, to the Dusty Baron and his sound; and yet another installment in Leleka's continuing contribution to the musical space time continuum.

'grow vinyl' begins with the record 'Discrete Intervals' by Easy Changes. Constant characters in the Moscow underground, and residents of the label's the brick basement event space Grow Club, here share 3 original tracks, in which their spirit and moods are told, through futuristic structures, with wild energies composed within. The result is music from artists on the prime of a level, confident and exhuberant in nature, make for tracks eccentric and sure to enliven. The vinyl also features a remix by the new project of Rudolf and Viudez: birdsmakingmachine. Then there is a second remix by Paris based artist Elysée which makes up the digital EP subsequently available.

Finally the remixes of the celebrated Jonsson/Alter Mod album is here - featuring no less than Minilogue, Donato Dozzy and Dorisburg (half of Swedish duo Genius Of Time). My God, that took some time. But no harm is done. All remixes has some kind uplifting and sunny trance mode to them, so as it turns out, this is actually the prefect spring release. Inhale... Exhale... Minilogue starts out with the track Kyrka 2.0 and ads both speed and length. Donato takes on the track Acapellan and does everything right. Keeping the beautiful vocals of the original, Donato adds bass line and new drums. The EP closes with another Swedish contribution. Alexander Berg aka Dorisburg from duo Genius Of Time reworks Djup House, and does it well. A solid bass line keeps us grounded to the dance floor while dreamy melodies and harmonies gently lift our serotonin levels. Enjoy! Before leaving you to the music we would like to thank Minilogue, Donato Dozzy, Dorisburg and last but not least, Henrik Jonsson and Joel Alter, who all devoted their time and musical personalities to this project. Thanks!

Cool new dancefloor track by Sandro Beninati (Enter Rec.) on Ton liebt Klang with a lot of big remixes by Andy Kohlmann (Mimique, Supdub, Lordag), Arts & Leni (Deich, Ton liebt Klang), Mike Wall (Der Hut, Frucht, Lordag).
A must have for all lovers of good music.

Early support by Hanne & Lore, Bebetta, Someone Else, Glanz & Ledwa, BlackVel, Homebase, Dembowski, Compact Grey, The Chosen Two, Carlo Ruetz, Daniel Boon, Lars Wickinger, Rich Vom Dorf, Audiopunkz, Richie Hawtin and many more.

Here it is - the one you've all been waiting for! Mr Four Tet finally gets round to rounding off the 'Pink' series with two heavyweight mixes. Child genius Happa whips 'Jupiters' into a blistering funk attack while Jamie XX wraps 'Lion' all up in black and sends it back to the dancefloor. VERY limited as always.

The irresistible force of Belgian based Michael Forzza as a dj/producer has to be his originality with his sound floating between minimal and techno. After a few releases on his own imprint 'Perimeter Records', exposing a darker mindset, he also showcased raw emotions and exuded feelings of love with his 'Kahana' release on 'Ghoststyle' which became a dancefloor bomb and was also voted as one of the best selling records in 2005. Afterwards he released his classic 'Abstractor' series which presented atmospheric and abstract techno, proving his versatility as an artist as he breaks new sound frontiers.
'Karma EP' features two deep tracks with a minimal twist embodying music as a spiritual exercise.

With San Laurentino's Dreamers & Wanders EP, Let's Play House brings forth a hauntingly beautiful record ideal for the winter ahead—this is music in which to take shelter from lengthening shadows, a warm place in a cold, cold world.

Hungary's San Laurentino has only been around for a few years, but already the man has proven himself to be a well-equipped, creative, and singular producer of the highest caliber. His last extended-player, Forbidden Fruit, released early in 2012, came via the legendary Live At Robert Johnson imprint. It comes as a surprise, then, that this is only his fourth official recording.

The four tracks included in this package are better perceived as four movements of one piece—each is a shimmering, emotive, and fragile aural journey that revolves around elastic, warm synth melodies that meander as they mystically progress with deliberation. Underscoring them all is a sober and forceful beat and syrupy-smooth bass line. Sprinkled throughout, like glistening stars in a cloudless night, are earthy syncopated rhythms, distorted, fuzzy effects, and chord modulations that make the listening experience all the more engaging.

At its core, Dreamers is rooted in deep house, but San Laurentino has taken the style and elevated it to something more formal and composed in structure and aesthetic, he pours the energy and vitality of the dance floor-focused genre into a more sentimental and sensitive vehicle, yielding something heart-wrenching, hopeful, and simply awe-inspiring. These are dreams transferred to a sonic sketchpad

Vlad Caia and Cristi Cons have been in top form lately putting out great material both on their own, but with their forces combined they are just unstoppable. Kazuma EP on Naural is their latest work but in the combined form of SIT (Sideways Invisibility Theory). on the A side we have the mangled and elegant groove of "Moai" which presents a wide array of textures, clicks along with a very playful bass line. right off the bat, the B side "Mazuka" presents a haunting ambience, composed of complex pads and other elements, that evolves throughout, kept steady by an exquisite marriage of electronic and acoustic percussion elements working in tandem with hypnotic distant vocals. Kazuma EP will be out soon on Naural in a limited pressing.

Nice Price Collection of Solamente Music !! these are the last copies of SOLA01 and SOLA02 packed into a quality 2x12" !!

New Kanada enters the Fall 2012 season with some dark angular acidic house.
Black and Medley's "Roll The Dice" - featuring the voice of Rosina - is an old-school blend of disco, NY house and classic Toronto warehouse vibes. Slightly acidic, with it's bubbling Juno bassline - and slightly techno with the driving, repetitive beat - this house track should rock the deepest of dancefloors. File somewhere between Henry Street and early Adonis. 5am - no earlier.
For the flipside, Adam Marshall sits down at the controls for a clinical, tight, stripped-down scrubbing; turning the original into a late-night fear edit. Broken, diffused drums and lots of black empty space in this one. "The Lights Go Out - Blackout".

Celebrating the 10th piece of All Inn Black series Phrasis Veteris show their real talent by the tools of neverending rolling drums and moderated old-school deepness. These four tracks make the perfect combination of the sweet techno & house darkness, and it proofs the extraordinary musical taste of the famous romanian duo, again and again.

Thomas Lizzara's debut album, dopamin puzzle, early supported and played by Alle Farben, Arts & Leni, Drauf & Dran, Niko Pusch and many more. After many releases and remixes, Thomas Lizzara the Berlin based club phenomenon, launches his long-awaited debut

I-Land is Radiomentale's first real album. Since their debut in 1992 within the rave and techno scene, the DJ and
sound artist duo founded by Jean-Yves Leloup and Eric Pajot was indeed rather illustrated with mixes, sound
montages and collages (see discography), presented in the form of radio broadcasts, cinemixes, performances
or audiovisual installations. I-Land shows another aspect of Radiomentale's work. The album gathers three
recent original compositions, each one lasting twenty minutes. Mixing vocals with field recordings (natural and
urban sounds) and electronic sounds, as well as revealing a rich and poetic universe, halfway between ambient,
electro-acoustic and sound art. The characteristic features of Radiomentale's sounds remain untouched: human
vocals, immersion and hypnosis aesthetics, cinematic climate, sense of narration and atmospheres.
Created in 2011 for the radio show Tapage Nocturne presented by Bruno Letort on France Musique, and
completed during the summer 2012, Smooth Operator is inspired from work produced by the two artists for the
movie Carré Blanc (2011), directed by Jean-Baptiste Léonetti. This "dystopian" science fiction full-length movie
(describing an anti-utopian universe like the movies THX 1138 or Soylent Green) called for a futuristic society
oddly similar to ours, in which all collective spaces were equipped with a soundtrack composed of natural sounds
and electronic manipulations, supposed to cancel out the conscience of its inhabitants. Therefore, the sound
piece recalls in an abstract way the figure of a strange operator who, from his control room, creates aural
landscapes aiming to manipulate the minds. As for Sinking, it was recorded live in 2012 on France Musique, once
again on the invitation of Bruno Letort for Ars Acustica, a European radiographic event gathering a network of
artists and broadcasts dedicated to sound art. Here, bits of vocals, poems and monologues create a piece in the

A Romanian collective of 3 different artist. Each track based around a funk within each bassline. All inviting the listener to the dance floor. Atlantziiduo comes from Bucharest with a strong base around natural drums & percussions. Their track ¨anTilopa¨ a warm bass that brings out the groove as the gentle ambient pad drifts across drops of wood blocks and open hats Egal 3 is no stranger having been on the tongues and tables of many clubs the past 2 years. This young addition the YIMuzik family grimes out ¨Remaster¨ for B1. Funky bass hook grabs the listener building up to the piano drop. Melody overlaps snare rolls as the blessing vocal sample gives praise. Derek, another stallion to YIMuzik stable, spices things up with ¨Skjape¨on B2. A storm of rhythm with a rounder bass and touch of rawness.

after nearly a one-year hiatus, foundsound returns with a whoppin' four-tracker (available on vinyl and digital) courtesy of a french-speaking whiz kid. foundsound is stoked to welcome nicolas duvoisin to the family. nicolas duvoisin hails from geneva, switzerland. he is the owner of fantastic friends recordings. he is one-half of plastic fm. and he is known for creatively alternating between minimal, house and techno giving the dance floor a unique ass-shaking experience - such as with his releases and remixes on labels like snork enterprises, kindisch, kina music, siteholder, circle music, and many others. on walking ep, nicolas duvoisin carries you through a groovy tech-house joyride that is deep and floor- pumping at the same time - fueled by alluring grooves and savvy experimentalism. on a1 - "now you sing" - you float, bounce and glide through a mesmerizing tech-house gut-wrencher doused with a driving, forward-moving groove, mind-tickling vocal frolic and witty little breakdowns that'll make your spine tingle. on a2 - "love house" - the french-swiss mofo keeps it pumping with a rubbery groove and voices from underwater - making people dance with their arms spread wide open. on b1 - "my back" - you get a tripped-out floor-burner with a strong tech-house groove, clever sample- play, enthralling effects, climactic arrangements and a bouncy bassline that'll have people forgetting their own names. on b2 - "talk to him" - you have a refreshingly soulful tech-house gem with an old-school vibe fueled by housey synth stabs, breathy vocals samples, off-kilter percussion and an attractively bouncy groove. so don't just walk. run! dance! spin round and round! and all that good stuff.

ManMakeMusic's fifth release, a 10' vinyl-only EP, comes from U, the newest addition to the imprint's expanding roster. Unlike the label's first four outings that were aimed squarely at the dance floor, this record is a stranger and more pensive affair featuring 4 raw cuts of genre defiant electronica. Opener 'Eah' borrows from 80s Chicago house but strips out some of the more familiar tropes leaving just a guttural and infectious rhythm. 'Evil Spirits' is a stuttering mournful piece while 'Haunted' flips a faintly recognisable sample over a shuffling 4×4 beat. The EP is rounded off with Heaven, the most optimistic of the 4 tracks, and described by the artist as a warped homage to an idealised golden era of British dance music.

Nearly 5 hours on this 4xCD set of John Digweed recorded live in the mix at the Bedrock Anniversary party at Fire & Lightbox, London. Over 50 tracks and remixes from some of the best underground producers including the likes of Simian Mobile Disco, Tiga, Deetron , Gabriel Ananda, Robert Babicz, Max Cooper, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, jozif, Ben Pearce, Luca Bacchetti, Todd Bodine, Pig & Dan, Butch, Paul Ritch, Justin Martin, Catz 'n Dogz, SIS, Smash TV, Julian Jeweil, Subb-an, Phonogenic, Technasia, Guy J, Heiko Laux & Diego Hostettler and many others.

Hello Repeatís 20th release comes from act that couldnít be closer to the label, but at the same time has never appeared on it: Others. The duo consists of Daze Maxim, Hello Repeatís co-founder next to Jan Krueger, and Bruno Pronsato, the acclaimed ìromantic technoî artist behind the labelís first album, 2007ís Why Canít We Be Like Us (plus numerous records since then on DFA, Telegraph and his own imprint, thesongsays).

Assemble Music returns with a three-track EP from Cologne's David
Joseph aka St. Joseph, exploring further the refined, tripping path
forged on the label's previous release from Daze Maxim. The pianos,
vocal snatches and ambient hiss of Joseph's releases on Platzhirsch
are present and correct, but here the jazz flourishes are reduced down
into something far slicker.
These tracks have been prepared using a keen blade, and none sharper
than 'Personal Dancefloor'. Heavy drum programming and a rumbling
bottom end bring to mind Theo Parrish in his moodier moments, but the
deal is sweetened by light piano, garage-like vocal samples and a
deep, Burning 4 Love bassline.
'Indigo' spins the Duke Ellington classic into a spiralling, shuffling
chugger that will bring a 30s Harlem spirit to enterprising
dancefloors. Move the needle to the B2, though, for the EP's party
hit. Written in 2009 and reflecting that year's raw arrangements and
joyous samples, 'Wave/Table/Muscle' finally gets a vinyl release,
proving this sound endures to this day.
Expect more of the same from Assemble Music with their next release
featuring Vera and Ricardo Villalobos.

Straight comes the next release on Mettmann-based experimental label SHHHH, catalog number 008 - the long awaited full length album by Daniel Half from Sardinia, Italy. It is called "Lonely Boy" and consists of - heavenly-medium-transparent creamy sky-colored vinyl with 10 brand new tracks - DVD including videos to all tracks - Pocket Board Game "The Ghost Of The Lonely Boy" - Download-Code for the entire album in MP3-format - download comes with an exclusive Wardrobe Memories Remix (Digital only).

With a limitation of 196 copies this is a very special item and the most epic release on SHHHH to date. Every record is hand commissioned and full of beautiful details.

This time Daniel Half explores way more personal topics than ever before. It seems that his recently second longplayer is a weird and intensive trip through highly suicidal, melancholic and depressive soundtrack-ambient that leaves the listener with eyes wide open.

The videos on the DVD deal with quite disturbing and heavy topics like racism, sexual abuse, isolation, suicide, pornography, social violence and birth/death of mankind. Therefore the release is only suitable for 18+ adults and people not suffering from epilepsy or similar diseases.

This album is not going to be released in digital shops and is only available in physical format + download code. If 196 copies sell - they are sold out. Ne repressing, never ever. Just one first and final edition.

Take a ride with us - and explore the highly disturbing world of "Lonely Boy". It's worth it!
